Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.
Samantha and Scott are great sitters and we enjoyed hearing from them a couple of times while we were away. Our pets were very relaxed and happy too! Very happy to recommend them.
Kelly was flawless, she was a fantastic pet sitter and house sitter. She was over communicating with pictures and updates. We were at total peace knowing Kelly was overseeing Leo and Bella. Kelly connected with our dogs perfectly. We loved how Kelly daily took our dogs for walks and even an extended hikes. She has our full and complete recommendation.
Caitlyn, KJ, and their pup Sully were excellent house guests and pet sitters, and we would highly recommend them! I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. Don't hesitate to book this family of three, your house and your pets will be well-looked after!
I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own. Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see. Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back. I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site! Thank you, Tracey, for everything. You and your children are welcome back anytime!
This was my first time using house sitters and Shanen and Ryan were wonderful. She sent me pictures of Calla and game me updates on Calla’s activities. She would be welcome to pet sit for me anytime!
I felt totally confident in leaving Darcy and my house in Elaine’s care and I returned to a very contended dog and a perfectly clean and tidy house. Elaine arrived the day before I left so I was able to get to know her and enjoy an evening meal with her before my very early flight. We kept in contact while I was away via WhatsApp and I was happy to see photos of Darcy relaxing in her usual favourite places. It was lovely to be welcomed back home after my holiday by a very well looked after dog and it was so nice that Elaine was here to welcome me and had the lamps on, flowers in vases and a meal in the oven. My house was clean and tidy and Darcy has enjoyed a week of lovely walks and neck scratches. I highly recommend Elaine as a completely reliable pet and house sitter and she is a lovely lady to chat to. I was so pleased that I got to know her.
Bard and Kim are amazing house sitters and pet care givers. I would recommend them over and over. I wish I could add numbers to the scale. They would get a 10+. Bard and Kim were super easy to work with, efficient, self-sufficient, and considerate. They took immaculate care of my home; it was definitely cleaner after they left! I would recommend them without hesitation over and over.
If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. I can recommend her as a sitter without hesitation. Thank you Anna
Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

Affinity Pet Services have been very reliable & caring with our pets when we go on vacation. I love the updates and photos they are thoughtful enough to send so we feel less guilty about leaving home. We come home to a house of content dogs, cats & chickens that are calm and obviously not anxious about the changes. They are well taken care of & happy to get to stay in our home instead of kennels. I recommend Affinity often to friends, and am grateful to have them in our lives the last 5 years!
Our pup loves playgroup! She waits excitedly at the window on playgroup days for pickup, dances when she hears Charlotte pull up, and comes home tired and happy. We also have hired Affinity for pack walks, and to check on our pup in the middle of the day when we have had to work longer hours. Affinity has proven to be trustworthy, caring and very knowledgeable about dog care. We highly recommend!
Can’t give them 10 stars but they are top notch! Charlotte and her company are the best. Dogs always picked up promptly, exercised their little hearts out, returned clean and tired. I often am not home when she drops off, she is respectful, always house is locked back up. My dogs love seeing her cause Affinity equals fun!
Besides being incredibly professional. This is the highest recommendation for Affinity(and Charlotte) I can give. When we come home are cats don’t hide or ignore us(because they are mad)…they are happy to see us, relaxed and carry on as if we had never left. That is because of the great care & love they received from The Affinity team while we were away.
We've got 3 dogs and have been using Affinity for weekly visits and overnight stays when we are out of town for the last year and a half. They are reliable, trustworthy, and provide an abundance of love for our critters. They send us pictures while we're away so we know all is well. We couldn't be happier with the service they provide and highly recommend them.
Fabulous, pet lovers & care givers. They provide supportive care when I have a long stretch away from home. I highly recommend them.
If you neef care for your animals, maybe just a stop in to visit while away for an extended time. Awesome, super efficient booking system. Really nice, caring & diligent carers. Will use them again. Thank you.
I love our Affinity Auntie Gail. Incredibly attentive, and loves my two dogs.
Good people providing great services. I highly recommend!
Great service!
We’ve gone to Taylor Mountain for 2 years now and can’t express enough how this place is the absolute best. It’s our dog’s favorite place to go. He’s a dogs dog and hasn’t always trusted people. These folks work so well with him despite that being challenging sometimes. They limit the number of dogs they have so each dog gets real attention - your dog isn’t 1 in 100 like most other places. They also let dogs be dogs - they’re allowed to chill or play all day as they like and that was a must for us. I can’t recommend Melissa, Tracy, and the crew at Taylor Mountain enough for dog boarding. Trust me, this is where you want to go if your dog is your kid like ours is to us.
Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat is absolutely the best! From day one they have been incredibly professional and I never worry about Riley being in their care. They go above and beyond to make sure your pup is comfortable, happy, and loved. The camp notes for longer stays with the dog treat is such an amazing touch. I have never felt better about living my fur child with a boarding facility; highly recommend!
Our dog LOVES Taylor Mountain and they are so kind to her. It’s clear she is cared for while we’re out of town and they pay attention to all the details for each dog — which dogs they get along with, any behavioral challenges, etc. It’s easy to leave for weeks at a time when you know your dog is stoked to be going to Taylor Mountain. Love this place and I know our pup loves it even more than we do.
Five stars is just not enough! Your search is over- you’ve found the best boarding facility in Sonoma County. My boyfriend and I have been clients at TMCR since 2020. At the time we had just gotten a new puppy, Cooper, who was a little fluff ball of energy. With us both working full time, it was very important that we found a facility that could help support us in providing the best life for our boy. From daycare to overnights, we wanted to find a place for him that felt like a second home. When we first toured the property and facility, we were treated with the utmost respect and care. Melissa asked us numerous questions about our boy Cooper to ensure she truly got to know him and his needs. From day one, Cooper was in love. He was a regular Daycare guest 2-3 days a week and probably would live with Melissa and Tracy if they’d let him! Cooper ended up being a little bit of a sensitive boy when it came to his diet, his soft paws, and hot summer days. The team at TMCR made sure to go above and beyond when it came to accommodating these needs. They ensured he ate his special lunch we packed him for his diet, made sure to swap him from different play yards when his paws needed a break, and spoiled our boy with unlimited pool days, cold floor naps with huge fans ( this is a big plus for Cooper), and all the snuggles in between. We later bred Cooper, and kept his first born son, Murphy. Cooper and Murphy are now both TMCR clients. We cannot express our gratitude enough for the support, love, and care TMCR gives to us and our boys. Cooper and Murphy are our babies, and knowing that they are not only in wonderful hands, but having the time of their life while at TMCR, brings us peace and comfort that is truly priceless. I look forward to the life long relationship our boys have with TMCR and all of the staff members. While we are unbelievably sad to see the daycare side of the facility close, we find comfort knowing we still have TMCR for all our boarding needs. THANK YOU!!
Melissa & Tracy and the rest of the TMC staff are amazing!! I wouldn't bring my dog Maggie anywhere else! They are attentive, compassionate and treat all of the dogs there like their own! We utilize both their boarding and daycare services and Maggie always comes home happy and well cared for! Maggie is somewhat of a higher maintenance dog and the staff is always very attentive to her needs providing her medication when she is due and ensuring that her meals are prepared as she needs! Melissa has gone out of her way to prepare her special meals when Maggie has had an upset tummy or communicate with me any issues that may come up during her stay! Their facilities are clean, well kept, and the grounds are fantastic! It truly is a retreat for your furry friend! I will be a life long client of Taylor Mountain Canine.
This is HEAVEN for dogs!!! We had never boarded an animal before, and we dutifully checked out four or five other boarding places before being recommended to Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat. We are so glad we found them! They are in a whole other (higher, better) class from any of the other folks we interviewed, for the same or better prices. We traveled for fun, but I think our dog had a better vacation than we did! Tracy and Melissa LAVISHED our pup with heaping amounts of care, attention and affection. And, practically, when we arrived to pick up our darling dog, Melissa asked briefly for our presence, and she proceeded to clip the dog's toenails while we held our dog's leash and petted her. Two different vets had previously recommended sedation as the only way to accomplish a nail trim... The relationship these folks built with our dog in a short amount of time had our dog trusting and loving them enough to allow even the scariest task to become quick and effortless. No muss, no fuss, no worry, our dog came home shiny, happy and healthy. We LOVE Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat, they are absolutely our "go to" boarding place, pretty much forever. Additionally, we'll definitely be taking our dog to hang out and have fun even when we are around- she clearly adores Tracy and Melissa and being at TMCR. Thank you for taking such great care of our precious doggy!
Incredible place! The staff and ownership are extremely kind and knowledgeable. They are detailed in every dog's care and are very responsive via phone and email. My dog has boarded over single nights as well as for two weeks straight. She is always so excited to go into the building when we arrive. She comes back healthy and happy each time. I highly recommend TMCR!
Taylor Mountain Canine is the best spot to take your furry friend! Louise has a blast whenever she gets to go. Melissa, Tracy, and the rest of the staff go the extra mile. They get to run around and play all day, get their nails clipped, get bathed, and they get a report card at the end of their stay which I love so you can see how your dog did. I love knowing Louise is in such good hands!
Our dog Annie loves it here. Great people, lots of things to do at doggie camp. There are lots of dog pals for here for play and conversation or just relaxing. We have used many other dog care facilities in Sonoma County over the years, and Taylor Mountain Dog Retreat so far has been the best. One more time, the owners and staff are great, the play areas and relaxation areas are clean wonderful and with very clean & heated indoor/outdoor sleeping facilities. No better place for our Princess to play, socialize and relax, then Taylor Mountain. Blake B
Our dog Gatsby has had a couple of amazing stays here so far, and we recommend this retreat 1000 times over!! Melissa and Tracy and their entire staff run a very professional yet loving operation here. Our dog was a bit nervous for her first 4 night stay, but when we brought her back for a 12 night stay she was going absolutely bonkers and was so excited to see the staff again, and that's when we truly new that Gatsby is in great hands. The staff is very responsive and we loved getting pictures texted to us as well as seeing Gatsby on the Instagram stories. We hardly worried about Gatsby at all during our trip even though this was the longest we had left her. The price is very reasonable and competitive with the area, and a bath and nail trim at the end was very much appreciated! The very flexible pick up and drop off hours are awesome. No ridiculous upcharges to have your dog play unlike some other places in the area. Again, cannot recommend this business enough for your dog boarding needs!
Russian River Dog Walkers has been a lifesaver for us! We’ve known Kevin for several years through our local dog park community. He had helped us out occasionally with our pups and he’s wonderful. We’re so excited that he has launched this expanded dog walking/pet-sitting company and has found fantastic colleagues like Melissa. They are incredibly thoughtful and caring with our dogs. You see how much they love animals and treat our dogs as their own - and our two dogs love them. We can’t recommend this team highly enough.
I recently had my dog Bailey at Starr Pet Resort while I was on an extended 17 days vacation. She had never been in a kennel before and suffers from anxiety. Jim and Sandy are amazing! They took such good care of Bailey. They don’t just cover the basics when caring for your pet, they go to great lengths to understand your pet so your pet will have the best possible experience. Thank you so much Jim for making Bailey feel a part of your family! Rodney
Board at Your Own Risk. No Liabilities, No Insurance and the Owner May Have You Arrested. On June 17, 2017, the next to last day of boarding my Belgian Malinois puppy, Starr Pet Resort left a message on a phone number that I specifically had told them not to use informing me that my dog’s leg had been injured. I was able to retrieve the message and come back a day early to pick my dog up at the hospital where she had been left. I was told that depending on treatment, the bill would be between $2,000 and $4,000. Jim Brock, owner of Starr Pet Resort, initially refused to pay any portion of the bill saying it was just an accident, although he had only given vague, conflicting explanations as to what happened. He also threatened both my girlfriend and I that this was a criminal matter and he was reporting it to the sheriff to have me arrested if I did not pay for his week of boarding immediately by providing him with my credit card information. He also refused to release my dog’s collar, tags and leash left at Starr Pet Resort. Jim had presented me with a contract for signature when I dropped of my dog on June 9, 2017. He stated that it was an “authorization to get medical care if needed”. In reality it was a liability waiver which states that Starr Pet Resort is not liable for anything that happens to your pet, and if they are found liable, it is only for a maximum of $500, or the value of the pet, whichever is LESS. None of these waivers are mentioned on the company’s website, nor was I advised of them prior to drop off even though I had visited the kennel in person and made a reservation over a month before boarding. I made at least five written requests for information regarding the injury. These requests included video records as they advertise they have 24 hour surveillance, a written statement from the person with my dog when the injury occurred and the name of their insurance provider. These requests were all ignored. I did receive an offer for a maximum of $2,000 from Starr Pet Resort on June 20, 2017. The offer may, or may not have covered my dog’s medical bills, but I did not know as it was very early in her treatment. The offer included a condition that I never say anything that they considered false or defamatory or pay damages in the amount of $5,000 for each violation. They broke my dog’s leg and then threatened to have me arrested. I could not agree to these terms. Despite several written requests, I never heard from Starr Pet Resorts after June 20, 2017, until I saw them in Small Claims’ Court on September 11, 2017. The only additional evidence they brought was a note from the girl who was playing with my dog when the supposed accident occurred. It was dated almost three months after the incident even though I had requested this back in June. It also turns out that their insurance does not cover pets. They are a kennel. What does their insurance cover?
These folks kept my best friend safe, active and happy during a two week business trip. The kennel facility is exceptionally clean. A pleasant surprise was the fact that it is climate controlled. Most importantly though; Jim and Sandy are dog people. They very clearly care about their guests and take care of their guests. Strongly recommended Update six months later: Sudden business trip abroad for four weeks: Same great facility. Same great service. Same great people.
We have been staying with Starr Pet for 2+ years and we love them so much! My Frenchie Ernestine loves it from the moment she arrives to see Uncle Jim and Sandi to her private nature walks (an optional add on she loves). The team is very attentive to Ernie, great at communicating updates and sharing pics. They are very professional, organized and treat Ernestine like family. I highly recommend Starr Pet and their amazing family/team. Thanks for taking such great care of Ernestine.
We left our 2 fur babies here when we went out of state for a graduation. They were there roughly 6 days and they had a blast! I got photos texted to me daily and some cool videos. It was comforting knowing our babies were so well taken care of. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to board your four legged kids. Thank you Starr Pet Resort!
Our cat loves staying at Starr Pet Resort when we are away from home. Jim and Sandy take very good care of her when she stays with them. Her room at the pet resort is always clean and comfortable. The whole cat area of the resort is immaculate and the pet owners are welcome to come in and see where their pet is staying as well as see the entire cat area. Both Jim and Sandy are well aware of each animal's condition throughout their stay and monitor each pet often. They treat each pet as an individual and get to know their personalities. We recommend Starr Pet Resort for pet owners whenever their pet needs to stay away from home. We feel confident that any issues that arise during our absence will be addressed and our pet will be safe and well taken care of.
I have a rescue dog who is anxious around new people and other animals. He was nervous at drop off, but in such high spirits after leaving Starr pet resort. They made him comfortable and he had a good time. Very reasonable price, and I really appreciated the one on one attention he received. Thank you Sandi & Jim
Our two English Bulldogs Love coming to Starr Pet Resort its always a treat for them. We started bringing both of our bulldogs when they were small puppies and they visit now on a monthly basis. El Guapo our largest Bulldog 3 years cannot wait to get out of the car to stay at the resort and now our newest addition bulldog puppy 6 months also loves coming to the resort. The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. Jim, Sandy and the staff are great and we wouldn't take our two Bulldog family members anywhere else, Thanks Starr Pet Resort!
We regularly take our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to the Starr Pet Resort. They love going there and are always happy to see the resort owners on arrival. The owners, Jim and Sandi, know the dogs by name, greet them warmly and take very good care of them. We recommend Starr Pet Resort very highly. Cheryl and John
Starr was wonderful with our dog Penny. We dropped her off with them for the first time we'd left overnight, and it was completely seamless. They sent over few photos during her stay to make sure we knew she was having a great time. We had a great experience; we'll be bringing Penny back to Starr in a couple weeks
Fetch made is so easy to find a great sitter for our dogs. Ours dogs loved the company each night while we were out of town. Would highly recommend!
Fetch has become my go-to dog walking service over the past couple of years. It’s easy to schedule dog sitters and I’ve been able to use the same two wonderful walkers, giving me great peace of mind. Robyn, the owner, is wonderful to communicate with, and I’m also able to communicate directly with my dog walkers. The status reports with pictures and updates for each visit are so thoughtful and appreciated. Fetch is the best. I’ll keep coming back! 🎾
We had the most wonderful pet sitter through Fetch! She was so attentive and her updates were charming and detailed and so much fun for us to read - and the photos were fantastic! We were able to relax on our trip knowing our kitties were in very capable and conscientious hands. Cannot recommend Fetch more highly.
I’ve been a client of Fetch for several years and I would highly recommend them to any pet owner. We use Emily to visit our three cats and could not be happier. Prompt, professional, trustworthy. What else could anyone want.
Fetch is a truly great company with a wide variety of services, reliable and caring staff, quick response rates, and reasonable rates. I’ve used them for several years and have never had a problem.
Fetch! were a huge help when we were staying at Cavallo Lodge with our dog and needed someone to come to the hotel and stay with her on New Year's Eve. They found a perfect match for our pup. They were responsive and very professional and our sitter put us (and our pup) quickly at ease that our pup was in good hands. We would definitely use them again.
Fetch! Always takes care of our two cats! They always manage to fit us in with a pet sitter even at the last minute. Really helpful company. Would recommend highly.
We have used Fetch Pet Care for our 17 year old poodle. Because of her age she needs a little extra TLC. Fetch has proven very dependable and kind with out dog. They kept us posted while we were out of town how she was doing and contacted us with any questions. Our house was left in perfect condition and we came home to a very well cared for dog.
We moved to Sonoma 2 years ago and feel so lucky to have found our petsitter Lois, through Fetch. She's reliable, caring and easy to work with. Our two older cats now require medication and Lois has been very accommodating with their changing needs. Most importantly, the kitties are completely comfortable around her and we feel good knowing we've left them, and our home, in capable hands.
We have been using Fetch for many year to care for our cats while we travel. It has always been a great comfort to know that the pets we loved were being so well cared for. The daily journals and pictures we received showed are cats as active and happy. The litter is always clean when we return. In addition, our plants had been watered and mail taken in. Once, part of a tree fell in our yard, and the pet sitter texted us pictures, which allowed us to schedule tree service as soon as we got home. Our current pet sitter is a delight to work with. We sometimes think our cat is disappointed when we return. In short you could not do better than using Fetch for your petcare needs.
Teddy 98 pound 2 year old Labrador had never been boarded. We took Teddy to Paradise Pet Resort and Teddy was excited to meet all the employees. We took the tour and Teddy wanted to play right away. Teddy had a free evaluation day before we boarded him overnight. Teddy had so much fun - he had played so hard he was exhausted. Teddy spent 3 nights at Paradise Pet Resort. Teddy enjoyed every minute he was there. It feels good to know Teddy is on vacation too.
My girl loves Daycare here!! She has the best time with all the dogs and always comes home tired and happy. I have a hard time getting her out the door because she doesn't want to leave! I love watching her play on the cams. Staff is kind and the rates are the best in town.
I love this place. We have two boxers. One is two years old the other 9. We use lodging for both and play time for younger one. Our older one is dog aggressive and they are fantastic about keeping him separate and doing add on solo dog walks when we lodge. The share a room which is great as that’s what they are used to. Pet play house is so accommodating with doing complex medication schedules. More than anything, the way they treat our dogs like their own is why we use their service. We highly recommend their service, EVERY staff member we have dealt with is excellent - 10 out of 10!!!!!
Best pet resort in Santa Rosa. My dog has stayed there many times. I really trust them. They’re really good with their dogs and Fritz .
I had concerns about leaving our dog for doggy daycare. We had never put her in one before. She seems to have adjusted to going there. I feel comfortable letting her stay there. Thanx Jennifer for making it easy for us,and Stormy especially.
"Dogs get sick" and "Kennels are stressful." This is the answer I received when dismayed that my healthy vibrant corgi developed serious illness during his short stay at Pet Paradise. Left him there on Friday night, and he was vomiting, disoriented and lethargic by Sunday morning. Staff at the front desk had no information when we picked him up, and didn't bother to tell me my dog was sick until AFTER I paid the $100 tab for 2 nights. (I did not receive the Sunday AM voicemail they left until long after I collected my dog.) Later, by phone, the site manager expressed absolute indifference to the situation -- "Kennels are stressful" and "dogs get sick," Marylin said, after talking over me repeatedly to emphasize that they did "all they could" by simply calling us on Sunday morning. My sick dog was given no special attention, he was not isolated from the rest of the dogs for his or their safety, and he was left to sit unbathed after being discovered covered in his own vomit when they found him in the morning. He was a wreck! The LEAST they could do is apologize and act like they care at all for my dog, who has been going there for short stays for years now. I incurred a $176 vet bill to learn that my dog had eaten something toxic while there (likely another dog's poop) and the owner (who will not call me and makes Marylin do all of his communicating for him) will neither refund the hefty cost of our dog's stay nor compensate us for the vet bill that was 100% attributable to the negligence of his staff. DON'T SEND YOUR DOGS TO THIS EXPENSIVE DIRTY KENNEL RUN BY FOLKS WHO WON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR UNSAFE CONDITIONS!
It's all about the care they show for your precious pet. They require a screening visit to observe your pet with the pups. They gave us a swag bag following the screening visit and our pet adopted the plush toy immediately. Real time video is available on an app on your phone. It is great to be able to visually check on your loved ones. We are confident in the level of care they provide.
Our Ryder is about 2 years old. He’s a rescue and full of energy. It’s been many years that we’ve had a young dog. We decided to put him in doggie daycare to get his energy out. Oh my gosh it works. I like that I can watch him play. He never stops. Everyone at Paradise Pet Resort is so nice and cares for the dogs.
I was stunned when I picked up our Neufoundland, she was so unbelievably beautiful. We finally hit the jackpot with Paradise Pet Resorts & Grooming, especially with Lana. She is a "Grooming Goddess" extraordinaire! She worked with our pet who is older and being a large breed, has some pain issues. For the first time ever, our dog did not collapse in pain when we got her home, the way she did with previous groomers. In some miraculous way, Lana had the patience and insight to work on her for THREE HOURS making her look, act and behave brand new. She was able to move freely the next day, too. Thank you Paradise Pet Resort for being such an awesome and happy place for dogs and for employing such incredible, professional employees, especially Lana!
They are very good with the dogs. My dog is very frightened and they usually just wrap him up in a warm blanket and keep him calm. Some people tell me that their dogs love going to the place but my little dog has separation issues.
The best care and the best people I have ever encountered in a dog boarding facility. Absolutely top notch.
This is the only place we trust sending our pup when we go out of town. She comes back tired from playing, and always hops on the shuttle from the Presidio with so much eagerness that we know she loves it too! The vetting process can be a bit much, but it’s worth it to know that she’s only with other well behaved dogs and won’t come back with bad behaviors she didn’t leave with. Highly recommend and price is similar to some daily dog walker rates!
Tapper Hill is a great facility with a fantastic staff. You know it’s a great place when your four legged friends jump out of the car with their tails wagging when you arrive. Shuttle service is a big timesaver
Tappen Hill is the ultimate in dog boarding. It is truly unlike anything I've ever seen. Located in Sonoma County, it is a bit of a drive from San Francisco, but so worth it to know your dog will be treated with the highest level of care. Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, Tappen Hill looks like a resort for humans. Beautiful manicured grounds, sparkling swimming pools (yes, I said swimming pools) and play grounds, this place is truly stunning. Your dog must pass a rather rigorous evaluation to get it, but it ensures an enjoyable environment for all. Nothing compares to Tappen Hill & definitely worth the drive!
Our dogs love it here. They get lots of play time with other dogs, have a pool to play in when it's hot, and are well-armed for. I like that they carefully assess the dogs and keep the size of the play groups smaller and easier to watch.
Posting for a friend who was a good client and during a recent pet stay, the rates were raised during their visit. This was not the first time. Apparently communication is lacking as they just communicate on their website and are unable to use their words when face to face. Buyer beware when leaving your pet for a stay!!
Our dogs have gone there for years. Simply the best boarding kennel we have ever used.
Most impressive doggie facility! Staff is professional and reflective of the owners' empathic love for man's best friend.
Very accommodating and always take good care of our pup! We can rest assured when we travel knowing our dog is well taken care of.
Our dog loves this place, wonderful people's work there, they taken very good care to all of them, a lot of space for them to run 2 swimming pool and a lot of toys, there are a happy place for my dogs
Great place for daycare or overnight stay for your dog. Splinter gets so excited when we turn onto the road and he sees the building. It is easy to see everyone there really loves dogs and Valeri, the business owner, is so nice and easy to work with. I feel confident my Splinter is happy and safe at Rover. Highly recommended!
Great place, good energy. Valeri was easy to talk to. She even took the time to send me a couple of pictures of my dog Hank with his new play pals. The look on Hank's face said it all. (Happy dog.) And speaking of Hank, he's been pestering me to let him say a few words about his stay at,"Send rover on over." Hi Hank here, I promised my mom I'd keep it short. But it will be tough because i have soo much to say. I really like this place. I have a new best pal, "Milo." He's everything you'd want in a friend. Fun, funny and spontaneous. He even looks like me After a hard morning of play we have naptime. Now, naptime is not something I usually look forward to but I actually welcomed it here. The people that work here are kind and friendly. And get this, we even get to bring our own bed and blanket for overnighters. How cool is that!? I give ,"Send rover on over" 5 plus tail wags.
This place is wonderful. They are very knowledgeable about dogs and provide a high quality experience.
If you have a fur baby and need day care, play dates, boarding or training Send Rover on Over is the place. I trust Valerie and staff with my heart. Her name is Molly. She has so much fun playing with the other pups and begins whinning as soon as we turn onto their road. I can't recommend it more highly.
My dog loves it here! Great supervision. Dogs are carefully assessed for temperament, and grouped with dogs with similar energy levels. No aversive methods used. My dog comes home tired but not exhausted.
Started bringing my Wesite weekly for daycare to socialize and we couldn't be happier. Valerie is so knowledgable , caring and truly an advocate for the dogs in her care. I felt she really knows her craft and watches out for all of the dogs, choosing what is best for them in different situations. My Westie is so happy now to go for her "day of play"..Next we will plan an overnight . I Know my dog will be in the best of hands..Highly recommend
Very happy to say that "Oliver" the groomer listen to what I wanted. He nailed it. Schnauzer cut all the way. Valeri is easy to talk to, she worked with me on my time. I have a new grooming family. Woohoo.
Very insightful related to dogs, dog care, breeds, disposition etc. Training and socialization are core part of the system and they are In touch and in tune the individual dog. We were pleasantly surprised that Becca correctly identified the dog's breed which had excaped us. She served as the advocate for the dog and his interest: we could not have asked for anything more. All the dog's in daycare seemed happy and content.
My dog got kennel cough her because Val goes on the 'HONOR SYSTEM" when it comes to checking pet vaccines. Been boarding and going to classes with my sogs for 25 years and this has never happened. Very unprofessional.
Had "Signature" waygu burger. Hooked to perfection. If you want medium rare, order medium. Margaritas made with fresh ingredients. Can hardly wait to try their ribs.
There are not enough word to express the gratitude and love Rocky and I have for our Auntie Trish. She is an absolute dog whisperer. Rocky was a difficult dog. He was never difficult with his Auntie Trish. I was able to travel leaving him with her knowing he was in the best of hands always. She is so amazing she has a spot in our first and second book. Rocky recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Auntie Trish still remains as part of our adventure. She is amazing.
My dog has been going here for yours. Trish is wonderful and so caring. I know my dog is being cared for when he is with her!
Trish is the best! Velma and I absolutely love her!
Excellent care for my pup.
This lady is a saint!
We’ve taken our Pomeranian to Gina at Four Paws for nearly 2 years since he was a puppy. We’re always happy with his specialty “teddy bear” cut. We’ve recommended Giur Paws to several friends.
We just love Bernadette in the Grooming area. She is so thoughtful and so good with our 2 dogs. She always goes above and beyond to help them. She is such a Great person... Joyce & Dave Sunderman
Dear 4 Paws Team, I just wanted to say how much we love bringing our dog to 4 Paws! Everyone is super friendly and it’s clear that you all love your job. Our dog comes home exhausted from playing all day, which is fantastic. The location is great, and the facility with its open field is wonderful. Thank you for taking care of our furry friends Best regards,
We absolutely love 4Paws Pet Ranch! We return for Joe’s hair cut every 3 months or so. They are great with the dogs and excellent stylists. I highly recommend them to everyone who loves their dog and wants them to look their best! They also have fantastic boarding services if you need to leave your baby behind for a few days!
Our super-energetic pup lives for Four Paws! We take him most work days and are incredibly thankful for the care and exercise he receives there. Without this outlet, I’m not sure we could have survived him and he might not have developed into the cool dog he is now…he’s awesome, but still a handful! Great staff loves him, and that makes us all happy!
I’ve been using Four Paws for over 25 years and I’ve always enjoyed their friendliness and kindness, and I know that they take care of my dogs
Lexie has been groomed by Gina since she was a small puppy, she is now 8 1/2 years. The estimated time for the grooming is usually spot on. Gina has a gentle way with dogs. Bernedette is also another favorite of a friend of mine. Highly recommend this place to anyone who want their furry friend to look its best.
I took my cat, Trout, here. They made it as pleasant as such an experience can be. I expected Trout to be traumatized, but when I let her out in the car - aside from loving on me for the first five minutes and then going back into her travel bag and growling at me for leaving her for a hot second - she was all cuddles immediately after. She made friends with the staff, they are all excited to see her come back. The hardest part was signing the standard release form. But it worked for boarding in a pinch. Trout wasn't traumatized at all. <3 Bring your paperwork!
Four Paws Pet Ranch is a wonderful place. Dragon loves his daycare with his doggy pals. Boarding is very good. I've only been a client for a year, but I have friends who've taken their dogs for many years. Highly recommend.
This is where I got my PJ from. When I met him, he was totally wild . He would not let you approach him or pet him. He would not go anywhere on a leash. Amanda, who worked there at the time was very helpful in making the transition. He is now the cutest, sweetest most wonderful little dog I’ve ever had.
K9 Activity Club is a great place if you’re looking for somewhere to train/board your dog. This was Pumpkin’s first experience with boarding/training and I was so nervous to leave her, but she learned so much and was well taken care of! Also 10/10 experience working with the trainer Sophie. She has taught my husband and I so much about how to work with our dog and we have left more confident in our handling and have noticed a huge difference in our dogs behavior!
My baby girl Charmin had her 1st day at doggy daycare today. I was nervous and the staff was so patient and supportive! They took great care and time in her intro process with a small group of dogs, which is exactly what I was hoping for. After her evaluation process she got to join the group. Judging by her smile and excitement (and now utter exhaustion, also what I was hoping for) I’d say she had a fantastic time! Big thanks to K9 for taking such wonderful care of my little Bully girl, and her anxious human!
Our dog has been the greatest joy of our life and K9 activity Club has been nothing short of incredible in reaching our dogs goals. The trainers always take the time to answer our questions and give us feedback that ultimately has led to our dog leading a life with less anxiety and more joy. We travel over 60 miles each week to train with them because we have seen such great progress and growth in our dogs life! Shoutout to the trainers who are committed to helping us build a blueprint that can build our forever home with our dog! 🐾
We have used K9 Activity Club numerous times for boarding. We have used for short (3 day) and long (2 week) stays and my dogs return home happy and healthy. One of our dogs is not able to mix with other dogs and K9 Activity is very accommodating. The stay are all friendly and give my dogs the care and love they need while we are away. We will continue to use them in the future every time we go out of town.
So this was our first time at K9 activity club... it's a bit of a drive, but think they will do great with my pup! According to his report card, he had a good time. They are very professional, personable and kind. Happy that they ask a lot of questions regarding your dogs disposition... super great. Love that there is a daily "report card". Asked one of the employees I met in the restroom line how long she had been there...don't remember the length of time... wasn't a newbie, but what I remembered was "BEST JOB EVER"... we should all be so lucky! Fingers crossed for the extended stay!
Let me first say that we only used K9's daycare services. Everyone was friendly and professional. I didn't get to see the facility, so I can't give a review on the area. The check in and check out was very smooth. I will say that the parking area is very small and congested, especially trying to pick up between 5-6pm. They charge for feeding during the day. I brought my dog's food with me as I wasn't sure. I only needed them to give it to him at lunch time, but I had to pay a $10 fee for them to give him his own food. I thought that was a bit odd. Anyway, it was only for a day because we were only in the area on vacation.
It pains me to write this review, because until they sent our dog home with an unexplained and unremarked-upon wound, we were loving this place. We were in the Daycare Club, our dog went two days a week for 3-4 months, and he loved it. He was always excited to get there, then exhausted but excited to go home. The people were always friendly, he always seemed happy to see them, and they offered several enrichment activities in the short time we were customers, from which they sent us several pictures of a happy dog. Then this week, on a day that he happened to get a bath there, too, we found a serious puncture wound near his groin when we brought him home-small, but open and deep, subcutaneous tissue clearly visible. He didn't have it when we dropped him off, and we'd come straight home after picking him up; whatever it was, it happened there, and nobody said a peep about it. In a subsequent phone call, a manager did suggest that perhaps he had suffered the wound post-bath, but when we found it at home, the wound was clean as a whistle without so much as a speck of blood, strongly indicating it had been washed. Our vet termed it a puncture wound of unknown origin, and had to sedate our dog in order to clear damaged tissue from the wound and sew it up, to the tune of $1,100 that we didn't exactly have to spare, but that's beside my main point. He did great at the vet and is his same old self behavior-wise and as long as he keeps his cone on he will heal completely and all's well that ends well. I do not think for one moment, and would never suggest, that anybody there did anything intentional to hurt our dog. However, either: A- somebody saw him get hurt, or saw the wound on him, and didn't say anything to anybody about it, or B- nobody, including the two groomers who trimmed his nails and gave him a bath, noticed the open wound, which was roughly the size of a pea and clearly visible, on an area near his groin that is not obscured by fur, and frankly either of those feels like a serious breach of trust. The manager I spoke with after we got home from the vet was very business-like and respectful of my concerns, did an investigation on her end, and apologized for no one noticing or doing anything about it, which I suppose was the most she could do. When I told her we didn't feel comfortable bringing him back, there was no conversation about Gee, what can we do to make this right?, she simply said she understood our point of view and wished us the best. Our dog really loved going there to play, I hope we can find him a new place he'll like as much. I'm not writing this to tell you not to trust K9 Activity Club with your dog. I'm writing this because it bums me out that we no longer feel like we can trust them with ours.
K9 Activity Club is fantastic! From training to doggie daycare, we highly recommend bringing you fur baby to K9!
My puppy had such a great time! He had so much fun playing with other pups his age and not torturing our adult dogs and he slept pretty much the rest of the day! The trainers there were there help owners so all the puppies had a good experience. We can’t wait to go again!
Our dog is a senior and she came home happy, calm and with good energy. We know she is well cared for at K9 Activity Club.
