Alex and Kama have been fantastic, looking after my dog on several occasions. He's a fairly nervous dog, with his own quirks, but they seem to have the magic touch! Alex and Kama have been so welcoming and have totally put my mind at ease from first meeting them - I hadn't used a dog boarder before but I felt so relaxed leaving my dog with them. They send great updates which made me feel really comfortable when I was away, and despite his nervous tendencies he settled so well with them. Thank you for your excellent care!

We’ve been having our Romanian rescue groomed by Doggy Ventures for some time now, and they always do a super job. Catherine really puts the needs of the dog first - he was initially very nervous but now gets so excited to see her! She’s also pays attention to what we need, is totally reliable and excellent value. I don’t hesitate to recommend her!

Catherine has been amazing with our crazy spaniel, who’s been going to daycare with her now for almost a year. We didn’t want to send her to a kennel environment as we knew she would be too stressed, so Doggy Ventures is perfect as it’s a real home from home! Our dog comes home happy and sleepy from playing with her friends. Catherine is so patient with her and really takes the time to get to know every dog and their personalities, which is a huge bonus to us. We love getting pictures of what the dogs are up to and always feel comfortable leaving our pup for the day (especially as she runs through the gate and doesn’t look back!). Doggy ventures grooming is also fabulous, with a lovely salon for the dogs. We definitely recommend Catherine and Suzi, their care and love for dogs is obvious to see which is so reassuring.

Had my dogs for 5 hours and one came back looking the same as when I left. £45 for the least amount of hair removal. Would not recommend.

Catherine has been looking after our dog Billy since 2021 and has been fantastic. He gets a good walk and comes home happy and tired from playing with his pals! She sends us regular photos of him playing with the other dogs and updates us on how he has been that day. They have a good amount of space to play in in her home and plenty of toys and snacks. She is flexible with drop off and pick up times and has a great bond with our dog.

Catherine has been looking after my dog for nearly 2 years and I have to say he loves visiting her. He will guide me all the way to Catherine's house and can't wait for her to open the door in the morning. He is a very picky dog so this is definitely a vote of confidence for Catherine. He comes home content and tired which tells me he has been well looked after and stimulated all day. Catherine pays attention to individual dogs needs if asked and when my dog had a problem with his dew claw she was happy to keep an eye on him. She ensured his dressing did not get dirty and kept a constant eye on him and even tailored his walks so he wasn't in any pain. She is always happy to provide text updates if owners are worried. Excellent service. As for booking, Catherine will always accommodate my needs as my partner does shift work and the days we use her services tend to change on a weekly basis. In 2 years there hasn't been a time she has said no to me. Catherine is our fourth dog sitter and we hope she will continue to look after and nurture our dog. Her professionalism is excellent and being shown insurance certificates, etc, really does put your mind at rest. No other dog sitting service I have used has been so thorough. Catherine is so dedicated to animal care that last year she asked me if I had a preference of animal charity to make a donation to. She was donating a percentage of her income to this charity. I was so pleased to hear this as it shows her dedication to her business and her love for animals. I'm just so happy we found her!

We’ve been coming to Doggy Ventures’ day care/groomers for nearly a year now and the difference Catherine and her walkers have made to our little girl is amazing. Our dog suffers from severe separation anxiety which is why our vet suggested a day care. Catherine has been so kind and patient to our dog that if we mention Catherine’s name to her when we’re at home, the dog gets more excited then if we show her her lead! Catherine’s prices are very reasonable and she has always been very open with constant communication. Catherine and her team really make me feel as though our dog is very safe and highly cared for. We’d also highly recommend the grooming service; we’ve had so many compliments on our dogs cut, even from a crufts judge who we met on a walk! Every morning we arrive, our dog runs straight to Catherine’s front door and when it’s time to go home at the end of the day, our dog is just doesn’t want to leave!! Our dog has been cared for at Catherine’s one or two days a week since she was 3 months old (she just turned one). Catherine clearly has a lovely relationship with her and our dog absolutely loves it there, playing with the other dogs. Sometimes she doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day! Catherine is obviously very experienced with handling dog dynamics and she is helpful and accommodating if we need her at short notice. Highly recommend.

Catherine has looked after my dog for nearly a year. He first went when he was a small puppy and after meeting Catherine I felt completely happy leaving him with such a caring and dog loving person. Catherine has always gone above and beyond making sure my boy is happy, healthy and has huge amounts of fun. He rushes in to see Catherine in the morning and after a long day at work when I go and pick him up he is completely content and would quite like to stay! That is how I know he is cared for and loved whilst I am at work. I couldn’t recommend her more highly .

Catherine has been looking after Rolo since he was a puppy, and I couldn't recommend her service highly enough. My dog absolutely adores her and literally can't wait to get through her door in the morning. She is natural animal lover - very caring and has their safety and welfare concerned at all times. She is incredibly professional compared to many other dog walkers I have come across. She has all of the relevant insurances and indemnities and also seeks permission on whether your dog can have treats, be let off the lead etc.. She also has a settling in period to make sure your dog fits in with the pack and is very honest about how well they integrate. I think this is great as I've heard so many stories of dog's being picked on by older/ bigger dogs, so Catherine makes sure this doesn't happen. Your dog will be safe and very happy in Catherine's care.

My cockapoo Rowan has been groomed by Catherine or Susie at doggy venturers approximately every 7 weeks for the last 11/2 years. He definitely isn't a fan of being groomed at home but loves being with Catherine and Susie and always comes out looking handsome and chilled. They are both really lovely and do a great job of listening to what I would like, giving advice and taking brilliant care of Rowan whilst grooming him. This is such a relief for me as he has struggled in the past. I would highly recommend Doggy Venturers to any dog owners. They are skilled kind people who love dogs

My 4yr Ruby was new to doggy day care & we chose Tania because of her professionalism & obvious love for the dogs in her care. Ruby absolutely LOVES it, she can't wait get in & see Tania & to play with all the other dogs. We were very lucky to find Willsbridge Walkies & look forward every week to receiving photos of their adventures. 10/10 from us 🐾

Tania has looked after my dog since a young puppy. I really feel that she loves my dog just like I do. I can't recommend her highly enough. We are first time dog owners and Skye has thrived through attending doggy day care weekly. The care and attention she gets is fantastic and I love the regular updates seeing her having fun with the other dogs. Holidays have always been important to us and was nervous leaving Skye overnight. I had no need to worry, the luxury boarding service is amazing, tailored to our needs for Skye providing us with reassurance that Skye is happy and well looked after whilst we are away. I cannot recommend Willsbridge Walkies enough for the brilliant service and care provided for the dogs.

Willsbridge Walkies has been fantastic for us in the bringing up of our pup. At first we thought the doggy day care was for us to have a day off each week. However, we have come to realise that Mabel has thrived and is so well socialised now with other dogs. She is always so excited when we pull up on the drive and is always welcomed in with such love. It is a lovely location and they have a great setup there. The regular photos sent throughout the day are brilliant and we especially like the team photo of all the dogs together that are there each day. Tania and her family are fabulous dog sitters. They are totally trustworthy, care for the dogs like they are their own and go out of their way to help. No wonder they are always busy and well supported by their clients. They have been great during the pandemic when we have had to change dates and holidays have been cancelled - nothing is too much trouble for them. Lovely family who provide a fabulous service

So grateful this service exists. After spending literally thousands saving our cats life we got her home to discover we had to give her oral medication we simply couldn’t get her to take. Jim has been looking after my Labrador now for 6 months. Every time i drop my dog off,he cant wait to see Jim and spend the day with him and other dogs he may be looking after that day. When i first started looking for a dog sitter the most important factor to me was knowing that my dog was in safe hands and when first meeting Jim i felt relaxed and completely at ease knowing this was the case. I used Friends for Pets South Bristol as I needed a pet sitter for my cat over the Christmas period and for a short break over new year. The gentleman I initially spoke to over the phone was very helpful and the lady who came out to my house was lovely. The service is good value for money and they were very accommodating to the needs of my elderly cat! I am using them again this Christmas and am confident that they will be my go-to pet sitters from now on! Highly recommended.

We are thrilled that we found Friends For Pets. They have become a very important part of our precious dog's life and have provided her with safety, stability and love through some very difficult (and happy) times! Lucy and her team in Bristol are the best ever and we wouldn't use any other daycare or dog walking company. FFPs provide a service that is just like being at home, ensuring Dora gets to have loads of enriching fun with kind people and dogs her own size. As pet parents, it is so important to us to know that the pet carers are animal centred and first aid trained. They don't take loads of dogs at once and Dora has always been able to meet other dogs first and become familiar with them before we make a booking. The pet carers use their own homes and gardens so Dora truly feels at home which is wonderful. Crucially for us, the pet carers at FFPs treat Dora as one of the family, with love and kindness, just as they would their own animals. They have been able to mirror Dora's own, at home routines in their own homes, even allowing Dora to share their bed when she's stayed over. This has made a massive difference to Dora, and us, during stressful times like moving house, where stability has been so important. Dora has made friends for life at FFPs and adores her carers and her doggy pals. In the last year, we have moved home twice and Dora has had some serious health worries. FFPs were there for us throughout, offering flexibility, support and genuine care and compassion. Thank you so much FFPs!!!

Bristol Friends for Pets Dog Boarding have been great for my troubled Staffie/Patterdale Terrier cross Dex. Gill looks after him and although she has seen him at his worst she is still willing to look after and love him to bits whilst he stays with her even though he is a difficult case to look after and deal with!

I use Friends for Pets to look after our cats if we're going away. The service is great and very professional. I was even asked well in advance of Christmas if I'd need any visits around Christmas and New Year just so I could be scheduled in! I appreciated this reminder and the personal service.
