Hideyo has watched my cat multiple times over the last two years. She is always attentive, communicative and most of all accommodating. She sends texts updates each day showing both proof of services and time spent with your pet. She is effortless to work with and takes the time to know your animal and its eccentricities. She is a great value for the price of her services and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

I had a good experience with Hideyo sitting my two cats. She is very experienced, so I felt confident leaving them in her care. She gave lots of tips to prep for our trip to make sure the cats would be safe in our absence. She sent photos and updates daily so we could keep track of how they were doing. We will happily have her sit our pets again.

I can't recommend Hideyo enough! I was really nervous about leaving my two dogs, but at our first meeting she put my mind at ease. She took the time to build trust with my more anxious pup, and it was clear that both of my dogs adored her. Her communication was outstanding—she kept me updated with photos and messages, which really helped me relax while I was away. When my travel plans changed unexpectedly, she was incredibly accommodating and made extra visits without hesitation. I felt like they were in great hands, and I will definitely be using her services again in the future!

Hideyo does a great job with our 3 cats that have very different needs and personalities. She's able to manage them all and sends us regular updates and photos. We recently had a travel emergency and Hideyo was able to come over and make sure everything was good at home. We always appreciate her attention to detail and quick responses.

Hideyo runs an outstanding pet sitting business. She is one-hundred-percent responsive, responsible, organized, and trustworthy, and most importantly, she clearly loves the pets she cares for, as do her associates. She recently provided drop-in and overnight pet sitting for us and it was wonderful to know that our dog would be in such good hands while we were away.

Hideyo is a great and attentive sitter! We had a health scare with one of our cats while we were away and Hideyo kept a good eye on him. Visited the baby daily and kept great notes on his status! She's very professional and great at what she does :)

We were so fortunate to find help from Hideyo at Wags to Whiskers in the care of our three pets. Hideyo was extremely professional and made us feel extremely comfortable during her initial visit to get to understand our living arrangements and meet our furry friends. She was very prompt and courteous in all communications around her visits. She provided photographs of everyone to help reassure of us everyone doing great. Extra points for all the attention to detail around ensuring our home would be secure and safe for pets while we were gone. I’d whole heartedly recommend her to anyone looking to have an extremely professional and reliable individual care for their loved pets. She has obviously been doing this for a while and cares greatly for the well being of an individuals home / pets.

I do not travel much because I do not like to leave my fur babies behind, well Hideyo and her company solved that. I feel very comfortable leaving them in the care of Wags tp Whiskers. They send me a picture each day. She is able to get my anti-social cats to come out from under the bed and greet her!!!!! Hideyo is one of the sweetest humans I have ever met. I feel very very comfortable recommending her and her company.

I'm really glad I used Wags to Whiskers to check on my 2 cats while I went on a 2 week vacation. They'll be my go-to from now on. They are very knowledgeable about caring for our animal companions, professional and conscientious. I got texts with pictures of them during every visit and was able to have a real-time text dialogue. This was enjoyable, and helped me have a worry-free trip. The mail was collected and packages received. Highly recommended.

We went out of town for 5 days and Hideyo visited our cat, Paul, twice a day. She also visited once in advance to meet him and see where everything was. We got regular updates with lots of photos to see that Paul was doing well. We'll definitely be asking Hideyo to watch him again the next time we're out! He was clearly happy and well-cared for when we got home.

Beck 'n Call is clean and organized and the dogs really seem to enjoy daycare! I love that I can watch them through the cameras online. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

Where to begin... First off stay away form this place if you have a working breed dog or a dog that has high energy drive these "handlers" do not know how to handled a dog like that and will take the lazy route when it comes to integration. Our dog was dropped off at daycare around 2:20pm and was there for approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. When my wife and I went to pick her up the front desk person with glasses very nonchalantly told us that our dog was put in the crate because of her wanting to play with another dog that did not want to play. Now I understand she is a high energy breed and will never really tire but instead of trying to mediate the situation they decided to separate the two animals. This is the first time ever that we have heard or seen her have a problem with a dog. This right here told me the handlers do not know how to do their job and were just taking the easiest and laziest route instead of trying to integrate or redirect attention to another thing. This was also her first day at this daycare (will also be her last) and she does not know all the animals. So upon this separation from each other they seemly stuffed her into a crate. Now our dog is crate trained but with only her crate and not some random crate at a new daycare. Unsurprisingly to anyone with a brain she freaks out because this is all new to her. So instead of seeing she wont go into a crate and doing something else they decided to force her in and she got a big cut on her nose. There were many things wrong with this picture starting with the lack of ability to deal with the situation and knowledge of how to mediate between two dogs. Secondly, she has never had a problem with any other dogs in the previous daycares over the year and has dealt with multitude of different breeds. Third, the woman at the front with glasses seemed very dismissive and her attitude towards us seemed like she did not care. Her "brilliant" advice was to bring her earlier when the dogs want to play more. We both have work schedule that will not allow that and also what does that even mean? Daycare is for play so why is my dog getting punished for wanting to play? We are very disheartened that they did not try and call us but instead just rotated her and the other dog into crates all day. What kind of mediation is that? There is a lot of training that needs to happen and honestly I am debating seeking legal guidance on this for the next steps because the way this situation was handled is very concerning. If a manager wants to reach out about it feel free I am open to chat more. Update: Spoke to the manager and man does the shoes fit in this place. They deflect and do not take ownership and watching my dog struggle in the crate on the first day of daycare in a new environment. Manager said that the wound was “self inflicted” while in the crate. That tells me they watched as my baby was struggling and instead of letting her out they just let it happen. What absolute wastes of spaces. They should not be allowed anywhere near animals at all. Still seeking legal guidance on this. Have an appointment scheduled.

My grand dog came home injured. There should never be an instance where this should happen. It appears workers are unskilled and unknowledgeable in handling certain breeds of dogs. Daycare is supposed to be a social event for the dogs, they should not be put in crates for long periods of time. This is unacceptable and heartbreaking to hear that the dogs are being subjected to this cruel care.

They always take such great care of my Rio. He’d always happy to visit!

The employees are very attentive to your pet. They understand that pets are family and should be treated as such.

So happy to have beck ‘n call nearby. Our pups love it here and always come home tuckered up after a full day of playing. They do really fun things often too (recently they offered a photo shoot for the pups to be on Santa’s lap). Highly recommend.

I love beck ‘n call! They are always very nice and the prices are better than a lot of options. I love that the dogs can all day play, no extra cost. They also have indoor/outdoor areas with a little kiddy pool for the dogs to cool off. I enjoy watching the live view cameras to see if my dog is having a good time, which she always is!

I love them. We've been taking our dogs here for years. They are friendly and really, part of our family as we trust them so much with our fur babies. They're always there for us! Plus I love that they have live video streaming during the day so you can get a peak at them while you're away.

My dogs absolutely love this place! They are so happy and clean when I get them home. Both a handful and well over 50 pounds, they are given the best care! I always receive a text promptly that they are done with photos of them looking so happy. Big box store groomers just aren't capable of providing the service that Beck 'n Call can. This is our permanent groomer as long as we live in ABQ!

Katie, my pet sitter, did a great job with my 2 cats, Mini and Denise! She sent me pictures and reports of her daily visits! She took the time to give my cats love and attention! I've used Fuzzy Friends service for 3 long vacations and they were great! I feel assured that my dogs and cat are being taken care of, in our own home, and by loving caregivers. I have 3 dogs and a cat, and one of my dogs requires 3 medications, which was no problem. Deborah and Jessica came to my house for a meet and greet and to go over everything before my first trip. Fuzzy Friends Pet Sitters (Deb and Z) cared twice a day for our cat family, as well as our outside wildlife family, and our home, over Memorial Day weekend. They were very conscientious and took great care of us. We really appreciated their stellar communication with us after every visit through their Time to Pet app. We were able to keep up two-way communication after every visit and they sent us notes and pics of our cats. Our pet sitter, Ashlyn, was amazing! She was prompt and gave a full report for each visit. She was extremely attentive to details and made certain to let us know if she had any concerns. It can be hard for me to trust people with the care and safety of my extremely beloved fur babies, but I felt confident with Kathy from the moment she showed up to meet them with a list of her own questions to ensure they got the best care possible. Kathy has watched my golden retriever and my cat numerous times. Each time the animals are very well taken care of. My house is always neat and clean, the mail is brought into the house, the fountain is filled, the yard is clean. I can’t say enough good things about her. I’m most impressed that each time Kathy comes my pets are excited to see her and enjoy her company. They love her a lot.

Kathy is wonderful! She keeps in touch daily by sending you videos or pictures if you would like updates on how your dog is doing. She made sure my dog had his meds twice a day. She has watched him over the years and every time I come to pick him up, he is always happy and seems right at home. I trust and highly recommend her.

Kathy seems to really love what she does and the pets she cares for. She has taken care of my dogs over the last four years including puppies to 18 year old dogs who were on several medications, blind and deaf and I felt very comfortable leaving them under her care in my home. My dogs are also very happy to see her telling me they like her too. I highly recommend Kathy.

Kathy was amazing. I had never left my two dogs with anyone other than family and I was super nervous. Kathy was so great that I felt like I did leave my babies with family. She had my pups for 5 days and during that time she made sure to keep me posted 1-2 times per day regarding how they were doing. Every time she gave an update my dogs appeared to be happy, playing, or resting. One thing I can't rave more about was her ability to handle two dogs with significant disease states (ie. seizures and eye issues). Both dogs have serious pill/eye drop regimens and Kathy handled it like a champ. One of my biggest fears was that my pup would have a seizure being that he was in unfamiliar territory, but he didn't because Kathy was amazing at making him feel comfortable in her home. I will definitely be using Kathy again in the future.

We had a very positive experience with Kathy! I want to share we were nervous because of 2 prior BAD ones, where my one dog got hurt, including stitches and hospitalization. However, that was the opposite with Kathy. She is very communicative, so much so, it put me at ease right away. Her love for dogs (and their being receptive to it immediately) was so reassuring. We tried a "test" overnighter, before a big 10 day trip, and it was so cute to watch my 2 ~ 60lber babies stop and go give Kathy a goodbye kiss on their own, tails wagging! We left them for 10 days, and every single day we had pictures and happy looking dogs. Usually ~ even under the best circumstances, both our pups are a bit depressed when we return ~ just the long separation, but not this time! We were so impressed, happy, relieved and just blessed to have found her. We have already booked several additional trips ~ Love Kathy! *ps, pics of them snoozing in bed made my heart happy :) If your puppy's need all the love and affection ~ they will find it here .

Kathy cared for our two poodles, second visit for them, they were excited to see Kathy. Our dogs were well cared for and came home happy dogs. Kathy sent us lots of photos and kept us up to date on their activities. I highly recommend Kathy.

Dennis and company have been great over the years. Rain, shine, or 18" of snow they've been there to take care of our pets. Dennis has been very accommodating to us giving him short notice, forgetting to buy dog food, or leaving the house key in a locked house. Dennis, you're great!

Our fur babies come home happy, healthy and exhausted. The daily updates are reassuring, especially since no matter where we vacation they are always on our minds. The incoming reception is warm and heart felt, as well as the release staff letting us know our boys will be missed.

They are super friendly! I love how they send you pictures and a quick report letting you know how your dogs are doing. These are the type of photos you receive. The grooming services are great as well. Both of my dogs were groomed over their stay. They are beat from all the playing.

Monte Vista Pet Lodge is our family's go to place for doggie daycare and boarding services for our two canine family members, Oswald and Winky. The staff is friendly and attentive, and when we boarded them for 18 days during our vacation this past summer, they were very well taken care of, and were given the food that we provided for each of them per my instructions. Our pups attend daycare at MVPL at least once every week, and they are always very excited to go. When we pick them up at the end of the day, we receive two happy, tired pooches, and we often get verbal reports on how their day went from the staff. Monte Vista Pet Lodge has been great for our family, and it's nice to support a truly local business in Rio Rancho.

They treated my baby girl like the princess she is 😊. First time daycare was exceptional and every visit after was equally yhe same. Friendly staff, easy client portal and pup loves it. Definitely a keeper for a home away from home for our girl!! …

We were on vacation for a week and during that time our dog went completely blind, and into organ failure due to not eating. The story that I am getting from the facility keeps changing. We are beyond upset. Dropping off a dog who was given a clean bill of health the week prior by her vet (she has dental decay and a heart murmur) and then picking up a dying dog covered in her own vomit is not acceptable. The report card we received from them while we were gone stated she was doing “great”. They didn’t notice she went blind while in their care, nor that she had lost an extreme amount of weight. After getting her home, we made the decision to take her to an emergency vet facility. Due to her condition, the decision was made to put her down to end her suffering. We are devastated. We have used them for our girls for years with no problems until now. I do not believe our girl was treated with malicious intent, but with neglect. How do you not notice a dog has gone completely blind in your care and is starving to death? The manager Cayla, was kind, but the story we have been told has changed multiple times and many excuses have been given. The bottom line is our dog was neglected while in their care and it has resulted in her death. The owner lives in TX but I did speak to him by phone and after a lengthy discussion, he reimbursed us the cost of our dogs stay, and for Daisy’s cremation. He also owns the Zia Pet Hospital which is located right next door. I understand both businesses are currently up for sale. I did reach out inquiring if I could make a grooming appointment for one of our other dogs, as the groomer was wonderful and always did a great job, and is separate from the boarding, but was told no. That’s perfectly understandable, and we scheduled her somewhere else.

(the review i left when i quit was removed) Workers here only end up hating themselves the longer they work there, the owners are inappropriate and shouldn’t be allowed over control over anyone. I worked here about a year and loved my co-workers who universally cared about the dogs while hating the owners who obviously didn’t care about us or them. Being stressed and depressed when working with dogs doesn't sound like it would be easy. But the owners of this place manage to make you dread going to a job filled with animals we love.

It’s true. I’m one of “those people”. Maybe you are too. The kind who thinks their dog is family and you can’t just leave them with anyone? I have used several kennels in the Albuquerque area. This is the only one I use now. The staff is SO CARING. If you can’t bring your fur kid with you, rest assured you will find a safe, compassionate environment at K9 Resorts.

Amazing place! My puppy Harley loves going and the girls up front are always so nice. Great place to take my puppy to burn off some of that energy! They even dressed her up for Halloween :)

My dog always loves daycare there. The staff is wonderful and they all really love dogs. He comes home tired and happy from a day of fun play.

Took my dog, Gunny, there to try out daycare and it went amazing. This will now be my go to boarding facility. I picked up my dog and felt reassured he was in good hands. Alex helped me when I picked him up and she was so friendly and I could tell she had a love for dogs which was also reassuring. Will definitely be back and I would recommend here.

We have taken Luna (our Boxer) to K9 since the first week they opened. She only goes when we have a day of conflicts and she would have to be alone for more than a few hours. She gets excited when we pull in the parking lot. As a boxer, plays the whole day and never slows down. I pick her up and she’s ready to eat something and get some sleep. She has always been well taken care of by the staff there.

We were in Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and knew we would be away from our dog for many hours a day. We set up an appointment for an evaluation to be sure she would be happy there, then they made an exception allowing her to stay that night as well as two more. She had such a great time at doggie daycare and slept well through the nights. The kind, friendly staff even gave her a bath before we picked her up. We would not hesitate to recommend this clean, well-run facility to anyone.

My sweet & happy 5.5 yrs neutered male Shih tzu was here for his Evaluation appt prior to an upcoming boarding for a 3 day stay at K9. He is having Private play because he has a bad left ACL issue. The staff was kind and took good care of our loving pet.

The staff is very friendly. The facilities are always clean. I know my dog is safe at k9 resorts which I didn't feel about other doggy daycares in the city. They are communicative if something comes up. They are caring with my dog even though he has some issues due to being a rescue.

We have been really happy with the services they provide. Archie stayed with them when we traveled, the staff was great! They kept us updated on how he was doing, they cared about him and us too. Daycare has been good for Archie too. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

Paws in Action has been walking my dog Charlie three times a week for over a year. Yaros and her employees treat Charlie with love and attention. He is always ecstatic to see them and very happy to leave with them. I get pictures and a recap of each walk. She has also provided overnight sitting with both of my dogs. I get daily reports and pictures during my absence. As a long time customer I would recommend Yaros and Paws in Action without hesitation. Yaros is professional, responsive and reliable. My dogs love all her walkers/sitters. I can leave my dogs with them without any worry. I know my pups will be well taken care of and treated with love. After limiting myself to work, home, and shopping during the pandemic, I finally had compelling reasons to travel out of state, namely visiting long distance family and my daughter's bridal preparation in NYC. One thing held me back and that was who would take care of my two households composed of seven cats. They were shy and old and I didn't want to trust just anyone to care for them. Then a colleague told me about Paws in Action and how professional and wonderful they had been with his two cats. I met the young woman who would provide the sitting services at a meet & greet and she was the gentlest, kindest young person I had met in a long time. We lined up schedules, costs, and my trip was a go. I was nervous the first day I was gone but my fears were soon dispelled when I saw how well my sitter took care of all 7 of my kitties. She sent me daily photos of the cats and their food, and added very sweet text messages to the mix. I can't applaud Paws in Action enough. They were so professional and yet warm and caring about my needs as well as the animals. I highly recommend them to anyone with trepidation about leaving their pets with strangers. I will use them for all the trips I have planned and encourage my friends and colleagues to use them. What a blessing they were to me. I feel very safe with my cats being cared for by this excellent team.

The sitter from Paws in Action was great. She was at the house for 6 days with Bella, my 15 pound rescue. I got photos frequently while out of the country and text with updates. It was a very good experience for me and Bella. I would use their services again.

This dog walking company is amazing. The walkers are so sweet and give you details as they walk your pet so you're left feeling very comfortable and at ease. I am a nurse and with all the COVID craziness going on would have last minute changes in my schedule, they were more than accommodating and made me feel like my pet was a priority. I unfortunately had to move and they even gave my little pup a homemade goodbye treat. If you're looking for a dedicated walker in the ABQ area, I HIGHLY recommend them!

So grateful for paws in action! We recently adopted a sweet older dog after she showed up on our doorstep. She’s a wonderful dog but is understandably anxious from being previously abandoned. We were stressed when we had to go out of town a few months after we adopted her because we knew she wouldn’t do well in a traditional kennel setting. Luckily, we found paws in action. Jade was fantastic with her! She took the time to get to know our dog and her quirks and was reliable and very communicative with us. We were so grateful and relieved to have such wonderful support. I truly never worry when Lindsey is there.

I hired Eden Pet Care and Lindsey to watch my Elder Cat Cleo while i was traveling abroad for 3 week. Cleo required weekly medical treatment in the form of fluid injection. Linsdey visited cleo twice a day for food and water and medicla work including giving cleo her pills. She made sure to spend time with cleo and the two were as thick as thieves, and i was able to get daily pictures of my pet. I recomend Eden Pet care as a good pet sitter is worth their weight in gold, and Lindsey certainly is worth it.

I called Lindsay of Eden Pet Care for help with my dog who had a complex neurosurgery and needed extensive at-home care from an experienced vet tech. I was more than impressed with Lindsay's competence, experience, and caring. My dog needed catheterization at home which Lindsay accomplished with expertise. She's quite knowledgeable about dog health and worked with my veterinarian to assure that my dog who was seriously Ill got the best care possible. Thank you Lindsay for stepping in at the right time and putting my dog back to the path of health and happiness.

I recently found myself without a dog sitter 2 days before I was to go out town. I didn’t know who to call. I saw Lindsey’s ad in a magazine and reached out. She was able to accommodate me and my dogs at the very last minute. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well she kept me informed about my dogs while I was away, even sent me pictures to show me how happy the dogs were in her care! I definitely would recommend Lindsey and Eden Pet Care.

Wonderful experience with Eden pet care. She was in constant communication about my 2 dogs. Including medication, ensuring they ate when they were being picky, play time and lots of cuddling. Took great care of my home as well. Will definitely be using her again.

With a new pet consultation, she helped me understand my dog’s behavior and provided some sage wisdom on diet, exercise, kenneling, and how to puppy-proof my apartment! We cannot say enough good things about Eden Pet care! We have several animals in our house (4 dogs, a rabbit, and a hamster) and the level of service provided was amazing. We were given regular updates and reassured of all of our animals’ well being. We will Absolutely be using this service again and referring others!

Boarded here a few times over the last 2 years. Friendly service and the pup seems to enjoy it. Had them groom my husky, she had gotten pretty badly matted. They did a fantastic job cleaning her up.

Happy tails is fantastic! We needed to kennel our dogs while our home was being shown. We took all 5 of them for a 2.5 day stay. All 5 came home happy, no illness's . The owner was super friendly, super sweet. Will definetly use her anytime we need kenneling!!!

I wouldn’t consider leaving my dogs anywhere else. It’s always a great sign when I go to pick them up and they are just as excited to see Dee as they are me. Great kennel, always had a perfect experience

Leaving your dog somewhere for any extended period of time can be stress inducing for both pet and owner! But Dee (owner) does a great job keeping the dogs happy and worry free while you are gone! My Zia was anxious being left over night but quickly warmed up to Dee and Happy Trails Kennel! :)

Miss Dee at Happy Tails Kennel is honestly the best in and around the greater ABQ area. I have been trying to find a great place to leave my 80lb lab for the last 3 years I have lived here and none of the other kennels compare to hers. I just recently started kenneling my dog here when I travel for work, and I could not be more impressed. Her pricing is reasonable, she doesn't price gouge (like Pet smart, Academy Boarding Kennels, or Canine Country Club) when your pet has a special diet or needs medicine, and the dogs actually get time outside to use the restroom. She truly cares about the animals she takes care of and it definitely shows when you pick up your furry friends. Trust me, if you are looking for someone who will take care of your animals like you do this is the place!

I needed a bed do to bugs it also became hard to sleep on do to it being uneven. Not only did I find what I was hoping for ; I found two bran-used mattresses both were clean an a huge savings to me. I search like every 4-5 days. I also see great tile , like 7 styles. I'm looking forward to that.

No perimeter safety fence. My dog was first put in a dirty run- like dirty bed and dirty water. When I asked to move him into a cleaner (still not clean) run the same dirty bed was moved over for him to sleep on Luckily I went to outdoor run to check it as the gate was completely unlatched Didn’t trust them to leash walk him with no safety fence and peacocks roaming around Glad it was only for day board while we were in the area… Please preview before committing to boarding here and make sure it meets your expectations

We were so blessed to find River Walk during our 10 day Balloon Fiesta stay in October. Sonia and her team were most accommodating to our early morning schedule. We would drop off our dog at 4am on our way to the field, and pick her up that afternoon after our flights. We felt very safe in leaving her there, with her own kennel and space to run free. The countryside location is lovely, and shady. The animals are well cared for. Everyone we met was so kind and welcoming to us. Most friendly people I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They took the best care of my dog and even had top star treatment. They shampoo and even trim nails plus they walked my dog like royalty.

This is my #1 choice for boarding my big, active dogs. Big outdoor runs with good shade. Surrounded by fields and farms, so there's lots of visual and scent-ual stimulation for my girls. Dog-loving staff, reasonable prices. It's like summer camp for the dogs.
