These people really care about my dogs. They take their time and the dogs haircuts always look great.

I had avoided this place for a while, because our budget is tight, and I thought it would be too expensive to shop here. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally stopped by. Their prices are very reasonable and comparable to other pet places. They also sell a lot of single dog chews, which I really liked, because I could get my dog something to chew for around $1-$3. The staff was been very kind, and when I went in to see if they had suggestions for a food my puppy might like (she’s very picky), they sent me home with SEVERAL free food samples and lots of helpful information, as well as a free welcome bag and dog toy. They also have a rewards program for frequent buyers. You can tell that these people really care about animals, and try to make their supplies affordable and accessible to everyone.

The atmosphere @ Stonehaven’s is very pet friendly. Always doing their best to accompany requests ASAP. We love their DIY dog wash. The owner and her business are an asset to the community. 👍 …

As a family with multiple pets we have always gotten wonderful service and guidance from everyone at Uptown Hound. We had a pretty serious health scare with our 11yr old Aussie a little over a year ago. She had an immune related hemolytic anemia. Her immune system was basically attacking healthy red blood cells. We give credit to the amazing staff at our Vet's office for her treatment and recovery and are deeply grateful. I visited Uptown to see if I could find anything that might further support her as she healed. The Forza brand food, specifically the one for immunity was recommended. If anyone is hesitating over the cost of this food (approx $50 for an 8lb bag) please give it a chance. I know it seems expensive but you will save the money down the road in vet bills for feeding better food. Our dog was on a thyroid pill before becoming sick that she had been on for years. During treatment for her anemia we had to give her multiple prescriptions in addition to her thyroid medicine. (Thank goodness Martin's fills pet prescriptions. A GoodRX card at Martin's helped us afford her treatment.) She gradually came off of all of the medications that were treating her anemia, some that we were told she might need for the rest of her life, and I watched as she fully became herself again. Silly and playful and happy. In the time since the only thing that we have been doing differently in her care has been what we are feeding her. Instead of Science Diet we have been feeding her Forza and she has been taking her thyroid pill. Nothing else. At her yearly check up this month her bloodwork looked great AND we were able to reduce the dosage of her thyroid medication by half! We are careful to feed enough without overfeeding. We had to sort what this looked like for her by trial and error. The 8lb bag of food lasts longer than you would think. At least for a 35lb Aussie who also gets a couple of treats each day. Uptown Hound is incredible for many reasons and all of those are centered around an educated owner and staff that are constantly learning, willing to help, and a determination to carry great products. I know that we have been given precious extra time with our dog because of both a good veterinary staff and the helpful folks at Uptown.

Amazing! This place has the special brand (Fromm Family Gold) dog food that we have our pets on! So happy that they carry this food it’s the only place in the area that does! The staff is super knowledgeable about everything you could think of and so friendly!! I am so happy with this place, best in the area will be returning here from now on for all pet needs! My doggie loves it also as they give her a treat when we purchase something!

Passing through on our 2 week road trip from STL. Stayed at the best Western here in town and saw flees on our 2 frenchies.. quickly looked up a place to go for self service bath station. Uptown hound blew us away with their excellent service, extremely friendly staff, and great products! We're super cautious w ith our pups and this place was amazing!! Thanks so much and if we're in the area again we will definitely be back!! They also gave us the cutest puppy bag!! Sunny appreciated this just as much as us!!

Shoutout to uptown hound for such a great first grooming experience with our dog Bow. Super easy process across the board. Great prices compared to the area and super friendly atmosphere. Lots of items to buy your furry friends as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Stonehaven Uptown took our dog who needed a professional grooming to his best. WOW ! The quality of workman exceeded my expectations. This made our dog look like a professional show animal. I give 2 stars for trying to charge to full amount for a missed appointment. This is not a Drs office. I actually would have paid half of the missed one but without notice that if I missed she would charge me is not good business. . My dog was shaved never groomed well, never bathed. ears never cleaned out from the fuzzy hairs and she still has tear stains, like never touched. I have had her done before so I know the stains will come out. I can't imagine her sacs are expressed if the other details are not done....So it is okay I have found a great groomer with good business practices.

We have our guinea pigs nails done here. Great staff, they were gentle with our guinea and made her feel safe while getting her nails trimmed.

They did a fantastic job on my dog. Really, really good work.

** -10 ** WORST EXPERIENCE. Treated my rescue dog like absolute garbage and had zero compassion for him. Three workers trying to clip his nails and being brutal instead of gentle. While doing so the owner smacked a little dogs cage and screamed at it to shut up because it was crying/scared. Refused to cut my dogs nails but wasn’t compensated for their poor performance. It’s very clear that they hate taking care of your fur babies and only do it for a paycheck. Don’t trust them alone with your animals. You could tell the one older lady was embarrassed with how the owner and fellow associates were acting. Poor establishment.

Always a great experience here. I used to take my dog Bruiser here .. for many many years..I lost count. He was 14 when he died. we never had a bad experience.. always came home looking handsome and smelling great! They always went the extra mile to make sure Bruiser was well taken care of, pampered and everything was just as I asked. Now I started taking our new Goldendoodle puppy here and everything couldn't have went any better just in the first appt. If you have animals you won't be disappointed with Hugs & Scrubs and the prices are really great too! 😊

Took my cocker spaniel dog to get trimmed and smelling good. They did excellent they asked me how I wanted her cut. Also understood and was considerate at the fact that she is my anxiety dog. Had no problem with me calling to check on her because of my anxiety. Thank you so much hugs and scrubs will definitely be going again.

I used to go to another groomer and thought that we would try this one as our usual groomer couldn't get us in for 5 weeks. We were so pleased with their service. Our pups seemed happy when I picked them up and they did exactly what we asked them to do. This will be our new groomer for sure.

My dog has never been terrified of the groomer but he couldn't get out quick enough! Shaved his paws instead of trimming them with scissors and they look awful. Didn't trim the hair between his pads either. I can do a better job at home so I won't go back.

I stop by periodically to get my dog’s nails trimmed. Even though my dog is rather badly behaved and not very cooperative, they are very patient and treat her really well, dealing with her horrible anxiety. The dogs I’ve seen getting picked up after grooming look awesome too. Overall a great place.

I just wanna send out a big thank you to the employees at the strawberry dog . My husband recently passed away and my malamute will not let me brush him like his daddy did lol . These ladies did such an amazing job with my Togo . He looks absolutely gorgeous . I am very thankful and grateful for this company . I will be using their services again . I highly recommend this grooming company . They are very respectful, courteous and you can see they care about the fur babies . Thank you again and Togo thanks you ❤️

I've taken our dog here several times and they are always fantastic. Our dog was a rescue and he is not too fond of kennels and cages, or anyone trimming his nails but the staff here handle him well. When we come to pick him up he's always super clean, silky smooth, and happy. I highly recommend The Strawberry Dog to anyone needing their dog groomed.

Took my elderly Boxer, Gabby, there many times before she died. They were very gentle with her especially since she had been experiencing seizures. They did a fantastic job. Plan to use them again with my new puppy when he gets too big for me to handle.

Amazing staff, amazing service from individuals who actually care, and fantastic pricing. You won't find a better place for grooming. The owners and staff are compassionate, well trained, and there for the sole purpose of your pets well-being. I have never met a group of people with bigger hearts.

They clean my dogs, ears and teeth and cut his nails and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend Autumn and her crew!

We take our dog here every other month for her grooming. Staff is nice, service is usually quick, an hour or so, price is decent, although they just upped their prices recently. Our dog always looks so nice after going there.

I took my Miniature Aussie there for a grooming appt. yesterday. VERY pleased with the service! They're reasonably priced, very friendly and highly competent at what they're doing. You have to book in advance due to their popularity. I'd highly suggest giving them a try!

Best place I have ever taken my Cat and Dog. They do a wonderful job. The people are very friendly and are so good with the animals, also the prices are very reasonable.
