Another amazing sit by Anna and her lovely family - our cocker spaniel Holly has had the best fortnight with these guys with lots of adventures and endless amounts of love and attention! Highly recommend as 5-star house and pet sitters - thank you Anna - hope to see you again!
Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!
Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Not only did Krista take great care of our cat while we were away, she left the house cleaner than she found it. She also kept in touch with occasional photos and videos of kitty antics, which gave me peace of mind that the cat was well-cared for. We definitely recommend her as a house and pet sitter and would ask her again in the future!
This was the 3rd time that Jill sat for us. That says it all but please read our previous reviews. They all stand and Jill is one of the best and most reliable and loving pet sitters we’ve ever had. If you have a chance to have her in your home and caring for your pets, you will be absolutely delighted. We love her.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Richard was exemplary as a house and pet sitter. He was attentive and thorough with his review of instructions, compliant with requests, provided regular home/pet updates, and maintained our home perfectly. An excellent citizen, mature house sitter and reliable.
Angelica was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Rosie! She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. She was extremely reliable throughout the process, and left our house really neat. Rosie was happy when we got home! We'd be happy to have Angelica sit for us again and would recommend her to anyone!
Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.
Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

I am SO glad I found Nia for our roadtrip to Montana. She made everything so stress free and took care of my 12yo American bulldog like the Princess that she is. She stayed all day with my pup at our Airbnb, and even tidied up the place while we were away. She was communicative, kind and offered us lots of advice for adventuring and eating. I would highly recommend anyone traveling from out of town who wants to bring their pup along, but still be able to hike in Glacier (we only hiked one day so that's when Nia stayed), allowing peace of mind while you're away. She's extremely affordable too! I had never used an out of town sitter like this, but if I come back to Glacier I will def be contacting her again. My dog was at ease with her and that made my day so relaxing for hiking, just what vacation should be! Thanks, Nia!
Nia is hands down the most loving and catering person I know. While working at a local vet clinic during the resent pandemic my wife and I had a scare with our 8 week old English lab. Not being able to be with him while he went in for treatment Nia personally assured us she would not let him out of her sight. Nia took him into her place of work as if he was her own baby that she was caring for. Nia is beyond when it comes to the care of animals and humans alike. Never have my wife or I considered using the services of a pet sitter until we got the word that Nia had branched out into this field, she is the only one we will ever trust with our pups. I can not say enough kind words about the kind hearted and loving nature Nia approaches every animal she encounters with she is a amazing human and will always be our number 1 choice for our fur babies.
Nia is our go-to gal! She has such a great house/yard for our lab puppy to run around and play. He’s always happy and exhausted when he comes home after long days of playing with other pups and in the pool. Thanks Nia!
Nia was the absolute sweetest. We honestly don’t like to leave our dogs with anyone but we needed to for today and we just knew they were in great hands. Our doggos instantly felt comfortable and were so happy when we picked them up. Hands down best decision we could have made. 10/10 recommended. Wouldn’t leave them with anyone else other than Nia.
Nia has a passion for dogs! You can tell as soon as you meet her, bubbly personality and vet experience made this a perfect combination for our 3 dogs. Affordable and convenient!
Nia is one of the sweetest gals you'll ever meet. She has a huge heart and her love for animals is amazing. You won't regret hiring her to take care of your fur babies ❤
Monica’s Grooming and Boarding is the absolute best! Paws down! When our vacation took a sudden turn, we quickly needed a place for our dog, Chip. Monica to the rescue! - We could not have been more fortunate to have the most loving, wonderful and beautiful boarding service just up the road from where we stayed in Lakeside Montana. - It’s clear that Monica has our many years of love, hard work and care into her business and facilities. She went above and beyond to make sure our dog cared for as if he was one of her own. During Chip’s 4-week stay, Monica gave us regular updates and paid special attention to our senior dogs needs. On top of that, she gave him easily the best grooming he’s ever had. Chip didn’t want to leave he was having such a nice time with Monica and the other dogs! Monica has our full recommendation and five stars is not enough. If you’re looking for a home away from home, or a perfect groom for your pet, there’s no better spot in Montana. Thanks Monica for your care and for running a compassionate and clean business.
Almost 20 years she has cared for my dogs. Wouldnt go 2 any other facility . Boarding or grooming.
She's professional and her business gives off a down home feeling;) My dog had a great stay-cation ...I could really tell versus other places he had boarded! Thank you:) Theresa n Remy!
Monica is so knowledgeable about dogs. Our Ellie boards there and she noticed her stomach was upset and had us change her food. She is much better now. Thinks Monica is her best friend!
Monica is the only one we trust with our two wild pups. They absolutely love going to her place, and it’s so nice to feel comfortable and confident when we are away from them. So grateful for her!
Excellent groomer with a very clean and well maintained business.
Monica takes excellent care of my two little dogs. My minpin, Squirt, needs medication and she administers it to him four times a day. Monica is wonderful!
I was told that they didn’t take new people especially “summer people” don’t even ask about grooming. And if you do get a grooming appointment be ready for an all over shave. Feeling like an intruder. Love this area but you are not welcome unless you were born here.
My little Toy Australian Shepard is the Love of my life and I wouldn't take him anywhere else!!! Monica is awesome!
Monica does a great job for us for years..
Colleen was awesome with my dogs and took really great care of my puppy on her first time away from home. They came back happy and squeaky clean! Thanks
Left my cat here while I went to visit family. Had to leave him for an extra day, and they were adaptable to my change of plans. Cat area is super clean, and every cat gets a private space. When I picked him up, his litter box was spotless, water was fresh, and he seemed like he had been well socialized in my absence. It's never easy to leave your kitty, but if you must, this is the place to choose!
My Annie (miniature dachshund) doesn't mind going here at all. She walks right up to and through the door. Colleen and the staff take spectacular care of her while I am at work. I am so thrilled I found this kennel for her. I know she is safe and loved. I highly recommend Hound's Hideaway!
The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. Our pup has a medical condition, and they gladly accommodated for his meds and feeding routine.
The owner was absolutely amazing and the kennels were clean and well taken care of. Each cat had his own private space and a little balcony to go outside. It was perfect for our vacation in Montana.
We have used the Cat's Meow for our dogs multiple times now when traveling. Our dogs got to stay together in the same cage. We have a 9 month old German Shepherd and we were turned down by other kennels because of the "possibly of her going into heat. We drove 100 miles one way to bring them here, were she was loved and embraced with open arms.
My dog Roxy seemed to be in great spirits, and not stressed out when we picked her up from a 10 day stay, friendly staff and reasonable rates. Thank you Coleen!
Very good boarding care for our cat. And the “hostess” cat Nellie is about the cutest cat ever.
We use this place whenever we go out of town. It's safe and affordable.
Wonderful place and people. Our dog lives it there. They kiss him when we come and leave.
We were visiting Glacier National Park and wanted to do a day of hiking (dogs aren't allowed on the trail we hiked). We were in contact with Columbia Mountain Kennels from home in Wisconsin leading up to our trip. They were great working with us to make sure we had everything we needed for a day of boarding. Drop off was a breeze and pick up was great. The staff truly made me feel like my boys were well taken care of and loved while we were away. Will definitely use them again when we come back to the area. Thank you for treating my boys so well!
Columbia Mountain Kennels are the best of the best! My dogs go to doggie daycare and have been going for years at CMK. I don't trust anyone with my pooches as much as I do Andrea and Will! And my pooches have made friends with other pooches at the kennel!
I have been taking my dogs to Will and Andrea for the last five years. They have always been so warm and communitive with our pets. Now we have a dog who has some anxiety issues and have had to take it a step further. I was a basket case because I had no where to turn. Well, Will, is calm and positive and a great trainer!! I can't say more positive attributes to these two! Thank you so much!!
We dropped our two high energy dogs off at Columbia Mountain Kennels for daycare while we were out mountain biking at Whitefish Ski Resort. Our girls had a great time! My wife called mid day to check on them and they said all positive things. They even had a shallow pool for them to swim in too cool off. They were exhausted when we picked them up! I would highly recommend Columbia Mountain Kennels! We can't thank them enough for taking such great care of our pups and at a great price!
We credit our dog's great socialization skills to Columbia Mountain Kennels! We started taking our American Bulldog puppy, Daisy, to doggy day care as soon as she was old enough and we're so glad we did. They're great about pairing appropriate dogs with each other for play time and Daisy is always worn out when we pick her up!
I can't say enough great things about Columbia Mountain Kennels, and the owners, Andrea and Will are wonderful! My dogs are my kids, and I never have to worry about them when they are at CMK, they come home tired from a day of playing with other dogs. Both Will and Andrea have extensive knowledge about dogs and dog behavior and truly seem to enjoy what they do. We are so thankful to have these guys!
Absolutely love CMK!!! We have taken our dog here for boarding as well as daycare a handful of times now and I feel so good about leaving him here. Will and Andrea are simply the best and you can tell how much they not only care for dogs but also understand dogs. When you walk in the door the facility is immediately different than other kennels in the area - it’s bright and clean and doesn’t smell bad. I also love that they truly focus on the best experience for your dogs. Your dog will play all day long here and come home incredibly happy!
We visited Glacier National Park for 5 days the beginning of September. We were traveling with our 15 month old beagle mix, and decided to check out doggie daycare for him, since we wanted to explore the park a little more in depth than we would be able to with a dog. Found good reviews for Columbia Mountain, contacted them and set up 2 "play" dates for Barney. So glad we did. He had a wonderful time, tired him out playing! It was a nice vacation for him! Andrea was wonderful, she really understands the dogs and made us comfortable leaving our pup with her. Highly recommend.
We were in town for a visit to Glacier National Park and needed to place our 85 pound puppy into daycare for 3 days so that we could walk the trails (dogs are not allowed). This is undoubtedly the best dog daycare that we have ever used. Our pup outwardly loved being dropped off in the morning and by pickup time he moved around as if he was a permanent resident. Wholeheartedly recommend.
Will and Andrea are awesome. We have been bringing our large Pyrenees rescue for weekly day care and boarding a few times a year and he always leaves exhausted. In the past had some bad experiences with other facilities in the valley so very pleased we have found CMK!
This is a sad review for me to write. I've taken my dogs here for a couple years now and the staff has always been caring, my dogs have enjoyed going here. I haven't used their services for probably 6 months. Today I took my dogs in and when the live cams came up, I saw my dog was wearing an e-collar. Since I had never seen them use one, I called to make sure that the collar wasn't capable of shocking, and was assured multiple times that they are only vibration collars, and do not shock. She also told me the collar wouldn't be on for long periods. I was keeping an extra eye on the camera, to make sure she wasn't having a bad reaction, and saw her (white dog in right hand corner, you have to click the video to see the whole thing) have a very strong reaction to the collar. I immediately called and spoke to the owner, who again stated they don't use shock collars, just vibrate. I asked her to take off the collar immediately, and let her know I was on my way to pick up my dogs. When I got there, she stated that my dogs reaction was because that was the first time it had vibrated, even though she had been wearing it for at least 3 hours, around barking dogs. When I asked to see one of the collars, the story changed to "some of our collars do have the capability to shock, but we don't use that" She did seem to feel bad when I showed her the video, and said "Oh, and she was just standing there" I was then taken into the "back" where we met with the lead trainer, who told me the collar had not been on the whole time, but had been taken off and put back on, which I know not to be true from 1000 on. When asked, from a business standpoint why would they purchase the more expensive shock collars, instead of the ones that just beep and vibrate if they werent going to use that functionality, nobody had a response for that. I don't know if this was an accident, if they know they shock them, or if my dog just had a strong reaction to the vibration, but I do know that after this sort of reaction the collar should not have been put back on at all, that they lied about the shock capability of the collars, and about how long my dog had one on. I trimmed the video so the staff can't be seen, because I have never met a staff member (aside from now the 2 ladies and head trainer) that I felt I couldn't trust. The staff member watching my dog did immediately run to her and take off the collar to change something on it before putting it back on. The staff here has always been great, and I do truly believe they care for the dogs. Regardless, these collars are not appropriate for training in this setting. My dog wasn't barking, or even moving when the shock or vibration happened. I suggest changing your policy so that dog owners are notified when a "training collar" will be used, and above all, honesty when answering questions about the capabilities of the collar. If, when I called in the morning, I was told the truth, we would have been able to figure this out and I would be a returning customer for years to come. A simple "we'll make sure that she has the vibration only collar" and then follow through, would have fixed it 😭 sad to say, but my dogs won't be back.
Impressive! I have had dogs all my life with some challenging like a Jack Russell and many different breeds and never did official training. At 70 I decided my next dog would be a German shepherd/heeler mix. She is 7 months old and wonderful but so very challenging. I knew I needed help so I went to The Dog Club. All the staff were wonderful. I enrolled in the private training classes with Kelly. This was the best thing I could have done as I was overwhelmed with this new breed. Koda excelled and we both learned so much! Koda has also gone to The Dog Club for daycare to get exposure and play with other dogs. I don't know where we would be without this place. Thank you so much for being here!
I dislike having p to write this review as we came to the Dog Club for both daycare and grooming several times as it’s conveniently located near my house and work. Well, our first incident was dog coming home with a bleed on her chest after being at daycare all day. The staff was kind in caring for the situation (although they had no idea how it happened) and gave me a free day for the future. My big gentle Newfoundland attended daycare frequently until a new employee showed up and stated that she couldn’t come back due to “being aggressive and not spayed). I travel with my dog frequently and she at many boarding and daycare facilities around the state with 0 issues. So we started to go elsewhere for daycare which was fine because my dog loves access to the outside and DOG Club does not provide any outside access. My final straw was just this past week, I had a grooming appt for which I typically drop offf before work as pick up when she’s done. I called the morning of and stated I could drop at 7:50 or 8:45 and to call me back - no one called back and when I attempted to drop off at 8:30 the same employee who stopped us from daycare was rude and refused my grooming appt. That we had waited 6 weeks for, bummer. I’m now finding a new groomer and we’ve already switched daycare to a facility with kind employees, access to outside, and daily enrichment activities. Goodbye DOG Club a we’re not sorry to leave. New employees are disrespectful and dogs deserve access to fresh air, room to run around, and not peeing/pooping directly on the floor.
I am not happy wirh my recent experience. I left my dog twice at Doggy Day Care. First time - initiated fee $40.00. I was told from then on it would be 20.00 for 1/2 day. The second time my dog was there approximately 4 hrs. When I picked him up she charged me 29.00. Plus, she kept shouting, "What's your name?" Which I found extremely rude. Of course, when I got ready to leave she acted all goody two shoes, wanting you to come back. I've been told by several people they're sure their dog had been abused while there. I will not tolerate abuse of any kind, and I will not recommend this place to anyone.
I highly recommend the Dog Club! Milo was well loved and taken care of while we were in Glacier National Park. The staff was absolutely wonderful and I can’t say enough good things about their doggy daycare. Thank you for taking care of my baby!
Cosmo is always so excited to come here and he is thoroughly worn out at the end of the day. The staff is always great and they excitedly greet him in the morning. I'm very grateful for Kalispell Dog Club!
Alpha loves going to doggy daycare, she gets excited when we get to the building, and loves everyone who takes good care of her there. She is a happy, tired pup after her visits, and we just enjoy how much love she gets from arrival to the end of her visit from the staff. Thanks, Dog Club! A very grateful dog-mom's doesn't have to worry about her baby when at work. :)
These folks are amazing. Not only the nicest bunch but they genuinely love what they do. My Doodle is ecstatic when I mention going to see his "friends at daycare" in the mornings. ❤️
We LOVE LOVE LOVE the Dog Club!!! It is the friendliest place and our Smokey gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. I love knowing he is surrounded by kind and knowledgeable people and I love knowing they do enrichment activities while he’s there. The staff helped Smokey go from being a very timid puppy to being a social butterfly with other dogs. Their groomer is also wonderful. She was able to put our Smokey at ease with his first grooming experiences. I also love the cozy, home-like set-up they provide for overnight boarding. And the web cams! My son loved being able to see his puppy playing when we had to go out of town. Smokey couldn’t be in better hands while he’s at the Dog Club! 6/29/2021 Update: We still love the Dog Club!!! And SmokeyJoe couldn’t have come home with a cuter summer groom! You guys are the best!!! 🐾❤️🐾
The staff at what is now dubbed "The Dog Club" really do care about your furry companions. This isn't the most glamorous calling but you can see the passion for animal care in their eyes and hear it in their voices! The facilities are continually on the update. Expanding and offering more for the animals during their stay. They have a groomer on site and a well known professional dog psychologist and trainer in often to work with the pooches and employees as well. If you want the comfort of mind knowing your furry family members will be taken care of, this is the place to have them watched over! You can also tune in to their live cams online.
