Any time we go on holiday we always book our bunnies in with Frances. It is like their second home. Frances always looks after them so well & is very passionate about her job & clearly loves spending time with them. We can’t thank Frances enough and it gives us peace of mind when we are away knowing that the bunnies are well looked after.

Jerry and Bob love coming for there holidays , Frances spoils them and they have so much fun. Frances is sp good with the animals it's its so reassuring know they are in the best hands when I am on holiday.

I am trying to find the best description but it’s really hard. Simple: EXCELLENT! Our Gizmo (hermann tortoise) enjoyed his lovely holiday. We got plenty of pictures/videos about his adventures. It’s not a pet boarding it’s a HOTEL! :) If you are planning a holiday and you have to left behind your small loved one, I can highly recommend this place. Your little one will be in the greatest hands. I took a look around the place, and the all I can say: It’s just brilliant! Nice organized place, bunnies, tortoises and guinea piggies like a little zoo. I love it. I am absolutely sure we will book again soon.

Excellent experience. Frances explained everything, took good care of our animals and kept us updated. The other animals in her care also clearly loved it there! We will be returning next summer all being well.

Our bunny had a weeks holiday at McMarshys. She was a pampered bun with plenty of exercise time everyday. Frances was very welcoming and showed us about the place which is always very reassuring for a bunny mum. Got lots of pics to update us during the week which was fantastic. When collecting her we got to see how relaxed she was at her holiday home, don’t think she wanted to leave. So glad I found this place. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Frances x

This is the best place to send your animals. Frances looks after them from start to finish and nothing is an issue for her ! She even upon request to try for us, Got all three of our bunnies bonded as we had just lost our 4 th rabbit ! They are happy here and have the full garden to jump about as well! We also took our tortoise here. She is very reliable with a great service will 100% be back!

Our rabbit Wombat had a chill and full of love holiday at McMarshys. Frances regularly sent us the video and photos, this is very appreciated, as we miss wombat during the trip. But definitely, wombat forgot us, he made friends with his neighbors, walk around the garden, happy hop a lots. Seems like his home now, wombat said he will be back. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

Hammy enjoyed a weeks holiday here. Frances was very welcoming and you can tell how much she cares for all the animals. We were updated through the week with photos and videos which was reassuring. Fantastic service and would definitely recommend. Thank you!!

This is our horsefield tortoise's second stay with Frances and we are so happy. Frances is hugely knowledgeable and loving towards all the animals in her care. She provided him with a great temporary set up as ours is too large to be portable and sent regular updates on WhatsApp. Tortie had a wonderful holiday and has been very well looked after. 10/10 recommend

Do you have a cat that gets super stressed or anxious in cattery or being home boarded elsewhere ? Then get in touch with Val. She came to my home multiple times a day to feed and spend some time with my cat Ace . Val must have the magic touch as Ace was chatting away to her and being a good boy (he doesn't really like people except me) so it was very reassuring to know he was happy , content and relaxed while I got to enjoy a holiday. I arrived home to very a happy cat . Would recommend Vals services anytime . Great communication, prices are fantastic, having that peace of mind is priceless . Thank you again from Ace and me 😺🐾

Can’t recommend Val highly enough. A true dog lover, very knowledgeable and always goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is well looked after during her walk and after. She has even helped with my other dog after surgery. There are not many people I would trust to look after my dogs but Val is definitely one of them.

I have a very active, highly strung Vizsla that Val at Animal collective services has walked from 4 months old(now 14months). Izzy absolutely adores Val and her dog Finn. Val is a dog walker who is genuinely a dog lover. I trust her 100% and can’t recommend her highly enough. Committed to small size and temperament tested group walks is a massive plus for me.

Valerie was excellent looking after our rabbit Lily. She settled so well and we got updates on how she was regularly. Highly recommend xx

October 22nd. Buddy home again from his stay at Westmains. He is one happy content dog and seems to have enjoyed as wee extra break after his stay in August. Many thanks again to all at Westmains. Ps he smells lovely 😀 Review August. 11th Just collected our dog from Westmains. I must say that all our fears and anxiety on leaving him back last week were totally unfounded. He came out clearly happy and well looked after. Val even gave us a couple of tips on calming him down as at times he can be a big handful. We were attracted to Westmains as it gives dogs freedom to socialise and when we dropped him off we saw for ourselves the dogs all playing together but supervised and it was exactly how we had hoped it would be . Collecting him today we anticipated he’d be clingy with us etc but instead when chatting to Val he seemed to want to go back in. He would then go to Val for a pet and a cuddle . It was clear to us all he had been well treated and we look forward to him having another we break in Westmains in October. Thanks to Val and all the staff for making us a very happy family especially my granddaughter who dotes on him

Boarded my brothers dog here couple times as he was ill, both times happy with the service. This time however my brother booked in his dog himself and he was met by a rude staff member(older woman than other staff, so presumably the owner of the kennels?). She was sharp with him and said 'who are you?!' upon entrance to the office and said 'we still have COVID restrictions you know'(despite there being no restrictions now, its against the law). My brother had COVID and ended up in hospital in intensive care, so he is well aware and found this to be insensitive. She did apologise for the way she spoke but bad mouthed/blamed the previous customer who was in the office. She also made him pay the whole cost of the boarding upfront, when I used the kennels twice before it was only a deposit that was asked for. We travelled from Motherwell/Coatbridge so pretty far. Don't think we will be back here, which is unfortunate. This person either had a bad day or needs to change their attitude towards customers.

Our last dog, and our new puppy love going here! Always a good sign they're being well looked after. Friendly staff and good attention to detail. Dogs are free to run if well behaved and seem to have a great time!

Our hairy baby was so well looked after. This was our first time using Kennels but they made sure to know everything about our dog and were so reassuring. She seems to have had a good time and we will recommend and use them again. Thank you for saving our holiday!

My wife & I were very anxious about leaving our 2 boys Hugo & Harold in a kennel for the 1st time. We checked out reviews & done a pre visit to the kennels before we made a decision to go with Westmains kennels. The staff put us at ease & we were relieved that they treated our dogs the way we would treat them. I phoned after just 2 hours to make sure the boys had settled & was happy that they had. When we picked out boys up they were their bright happy selves & seemed to enjoy the attention that the staff have gave them. A big thank you to Linda, Val & all the staff from Andrew, Robyn, Hugo & Harold.

I was recommended this kennels by a friend. I am very protective when it comes to my wee deaf Dottie. She stayed here for just over two weeks while I was away one holiday. Staff are so helpful. Letting me take her down there before I made a decision to leave her there. Letting Dottie get the feel of the place. Dottie has had a hard life being a stray dog and finding her at dogs trust. I got her just coming up a year back. She had alot of issues but has finally settled into the household so well. She was very well looked after at westmains kennels and I would highly recommend this boarding kennels for any dog and dogs that need an extra bit of care. Thank you so much for taking good care of her. She will return to you when we next go on our holidays. Thank you once again.

Wouldn’t put my dog here again, it does what is says on the tin but that’s about it. Dogs had never been there before didn’t even get to see or offered to come look at where they will be staying to put my mind at ease. Woman was too busy moaning about people coming in the morning even though the times to check in or out I was within this. Far too many dogs for 1 person that I could see running around in one area probable over 30 in one area. For me customer service is crucial I didn’t get that when I arrived and looked to me just wanted the money and go type of thing.

My spaniel has been boarding at Westmains since I got him and I would highly recommend this kennel to anyone. Max loves going to see the girls for day boarding and his holidays. He is always very happy and well cared when I collect him.

I have been boarding my fox terrier Archie with Linda and the girls for the past 8 years and have received excellent service from them. Archie absolutely loves staying there and always comes home happy and well cared for. I would definetely recommend these kennels to anyone looking for boarding for their pets.

Have used Westmains Kennels for many years with our previous labs, so when we required kennel accommodation for Zac it was a "no brainer" as to who to contact. We collected Zac this morning and while he didn't need any encouragement to get into the car it was obvious he had been well cared for. We were delighted with his appearance - he really was looking his best.

My dogs have just returned from 6 days at The Willows. They are healthy, happy and have obviously had a great time. The staff I spoke to were so friendly and considerate, the dogs were collected and returned to me. Everything was very efficient and I highly recommend them. Brilliant!

My dog molly is very difficult and frightened of all animals yet and i knows how to handle and have her have a great time with him and his team she lives going there and I highly recommend the willows - Caroline

Hi our dog Buddy who was really nervous about going to kennels was picked up taken care of then dropped home again by Andy who with his team took care of our dog brilliantly and Buddy will definitely be going back again THANKS AGAIN GUYS

Couldn’t be happier with We Love Animals. Spent two weeks away from flat and our cat and they were perfect. Not only did they care for our cat’s food and litter but they made sure she was happy and played with. It really was apparent that she loved spending time with Mew. The fact that we knew someone was caring for our home while we were away was also a bonus. Angela dropped us an email everyday with pictures just to keep us up to date and keep our minds at ease. Before we left we had an issue with accessibility to the main building, and she was great when dealing with that slight curve ball. We Love Animals were open, communicative and professional before and throughout our holiday, allowing us to actually enjoy our time away.

Would give 10 stars if I could. Angela is the most reliable cat sitter, doing all you would expect and more. Our cat adored her, and Angela is also on hand in case of cat-related emergencies. Would 100% recommend her to anyone. Daily photo updates, and has been just super professional. Thank you Angela!!

We regularly book Angela's services to look after our 2 cats and we could not recommend her enough. She is a flexible, reliable and dedicated cat sitter. We know our cats are in truly good hands which has made it easier and less worrying to go away. Having news everyday (and sometimes photos) is fantastic and has even allowed us to enjoy more holiday. Angela has looked after my kitty for two years and has been absolutely incredible with her. Arya has behavioural issues and needs daily meds; Angela was amazing with persevering giving these to her despite the occasional cat attack! Angela's service is amazing value for the amount of care you get - I'm nervous about leaving my pet so I get daily texts with photos. Plus free plant watering etc, and when there's been a flurry of fur Angela has even vacuumed so there's not a mess to come home to. I'm sorry to have moved away from Edinburgh as I'm sure I won't find another cat sitter as caring and thoughtful (and who my notoriously suspicious cat will trust!) as Angela. 10/10 recommend!

An amazing service. I was very nervous leaving my cat while I went away but after I met Angela in the pre house visit I was put at ease. It is clear how much she loves animals and my usually timid cat went to her straight away...even climbed on her back. My cat was taking medication which was no problem for Angela and they sent me daily updates including pictures. I would not trust any other company to look after my girl! A***

To be able to leave my cats at home instead of taking them to a pet hotel is really great!! I’ve been really lucky to find We Love Animals. My cats love Anne and when she visits them sends me updates so I can be relaxed that they’re well looked after. I feel I can totally trust her and Angela and the system is very convenient.

Searched for years for a cat sitter we felt we could trust and came across We Love Animals last year and they have been sitting our cats ever since. From the first meeting they have been extremely professional and quickly earned the trust of both our cats - not the easiest of things as they have studiously ignored everyone else who has looked after them for us! Appreciate the daily emails and photos and all the other little touches they provide. We have no hesitation in recommending them for pet sitting duties.

Candyfloss Cats have been brilliant both times we used them. Their online booking and profile information work really well. It's lovely to see photos and have daily updates about how your pets are doing while you are away. I have to give them special thanks for stepping in at the last minute this Christmas too when our plans changed.

Anne and Angela provide a wonderful service. Dependable, professional and great value for what they do. It's good to know my cats are looked after so well while I'm away – I love the photos and updates too. I can't recommend them enough –Thank you both!!

I can't even begin to describe how wonderful Anne and Angela have been! I desperately needed a pup sitter multiple times while staying in Edinburgh but usually do not trust anyone to look after my precious pup cargo. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to stumble upon these ladies. I and my pup, Penny, absolutely loved them on first meeting with them. I have anxiety; my dog has anxiety...and there was nothing but a complete feeling of relaxation and assurance with Angela and Anne, trusting that they would take excellent care of my fur baby. Penny was always happy and excited to see them! And they went above and beyond, arriving early, staying late when I was running late, taking Penny all over Edinburgh for walks and exploration, snuggling with her, feeding her, and sending a smorgasbord of photos of Penny's adventures to me. I would use their dog-sitting services again in a heartbeat! If you have any apprehensions about leaving your fur babies with a stranger, dispel them now. Anne and Angela will quickly become your and your fur babies' friends. Anne and Angela are the sweetest, kindest, funniest women around, brimming with Scottish charm and energy, and I literally can't thank them enough for helping me out and loving my wee lil Penny like I love her. They are true animal lovers. :) And I only wish I could have spent more time with them. Thank you, thank you!

I booked my Lab in for a 4 night stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The staff were so lovely, friendly, and very accommodating. Freddo was as happy as ever to go stay, and when I picked him up he was just as happy as when I left him. Thank you to everyone at the kennels for a great experience, I’d definitely book again no hesitation!

this is the second time we’ve used these kennels for dexter & he loves it. used other places before & we can tell he hasn’t enjoyed it but priory lodge kennels are different & he’s already booked in for his next stay.

Left my German shepherd Cassie here whilst away on holiday for 2 weeks was her first time in kennels , she was very well looked after and on returning home seems to be just her normal self thanks too Kenny

Best kennels I have used by far. My oldest usually sheds weight in kennels due to stress. Not here! Packed him off with extra food and he came back a little tubby! Owners clearly know what they are doing and I could relax knowing they were in capable hands. Thank you from Freddie and Nox

My dog absolutely loves his days at Bow WOW - he can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive. He has a great time with his doggy pals, and I can relax and concentrate on whatever else I need to do, confident that he's happy, secure, and being well looked after. Highly recommended.

I took my 8 month old puppy to Edith yesterday to have him totally groomed.; cut, claws trimmed, you name it. I was worried about this as the last groomer he was at could not carry out the grooming as she said Rory was frightened of the noise, therefore showing anxious traits. However Edith showed me a video she had taken of Rory and he appeared anything but anxious and is now looking a handsome wee chappie who looks like he has lost so much weight after getting his hair cut and groomed. Cannot thank Edith and her staff for their professional grooming and would highly recommend her to anyone. He cannot stop looking at his reflection and I think I may have a wee boy diva on my hands. Ideal for day care with friendly dogs

Jade watches my boy Oskar regularly and I was very apprehensive about making sure my puppy was going to be in the right hands, now I wouldn't trust anyone else with him. I even noticed an improvement in his behaviour after a few stays with Jade. Shes amazing with him and I highly recommend anyone looking for daycare or overnights to contact Jade's animal stays. The price is cheaper than anyone else I've seen and she even picks Oskar up as I dont drive.

Jade has been brilliant with my lurcher jules, she has got her being great around other dogs just by having her for a couple of overnights and she is going for an eight day stay in august, something i could never imagine, jadeis anazing xx

Use jade knowing my fur babies are well cared for while I’m on holiday , plenty video calls and pictures help take the stress out , my 2 go wild when they see her so that says it all , jade gets all their likes dislikes niggles before the visit and treats them like we do , home from home and plenty of attention given I 100% recommend

Sarah is such a warm & welcoming person, our meet & greet went very well, our nosey little dog enjoyed sniffing around Sarah’s home & playing in the garden. It was instantly obvious to us that Sarah is a genuine caring animal lover. When we dropped Alfie off to stay he recognised Sarah’s home & charged inside, giving us no doubts that he was very comfortable & in good hands. Sarah sent regular updates, he is a bundle of energy & this was well catered for with walks & ball play in the garden. Alfie was so well cared for with lots of hugs & attention. We came home to a very happy little dog. We would highly recommend Sarah, we know that Alfie would love to stay with Sarah & her family again.

Can’t recommend Sarah enough!!!! My little cat is getting older and any disruption to her routine is stressful for her, she’ll stop eating or hide away. We decided to try a drop in service to allow her to stay in her own home hoping it would be more comfortable for her. I’m so glad we did it because Sarah was fantastic, she really understands animals and how to respect their boundaries. So impressed that she managed to get Disco to play and she ate as normal. The pictures and updates really helped keep our minds at ease and when we got home Disco was happy and content. Also totally didn’t expect Sarah to do extra bits like washing my cats dishes and emptying my bin. Absolutely amazing service ❤️❤️❤️

I can't recommend P&N pet sitting enough! When I needed someone last minute a few weeks ago to watch my golden retriever, Charlie, Sarah and her family (and furry family) came to the rescue. From our initial meet and greet, it was clear that Sarah is a true animal lover. She even provided a personalised treat bag, which was such a lovely touch! Charlie stayed with her for 2 nights initially and he has just completed a 6-day stay. Honestly, I couldn't think of anywhere else I’d want him to be while I'm away. Sarah sends regular updates with videos and picture diaries, showcasing all the fun they're having together. It’s so reassuring to see how well cared for Charlie is, which allows me to enjoy my time away without worry. If you're looking for a caring and reliable place for your pet, look no further! We are so glad to have found Sarah at P&N Pet Sitting! She is absolutely great with my dog Ralph (French Bulldog) who has stayed over several times now and we are booked up for the coming year. Sarah has been great with Ralph, very welcoming and took plenty of time to make sure he settled well. He has several health issues which requires medication and Sarah took the time to discuss and understand. The minute I met her I immediately knew I was leaving my boy in the best hands. He loves his time spent there! The relief I now have to have finally found a home from home for Ralph is immense. As we know it’s very hard to find people like Sarah to trust with our fur babies. Five stars all the way 💫

I booked peppa into P&N pet sitting last minute due to a family bereavement. Sarah is fantastic , we filled out a form that asked lots of questions about peppa , we also had a meet & greet. During peppas stay I was updated regularly about how she was getting on and Peppa had an absolute ball , it brought great comfort to me knowing she was settled well and that Sarah was taking great care of her.
