My dogs have gone to this place to be groomed for several years. I was absolutely appalled by how I was treated the last time I brought them in for a nail trim. When I booked them, they gave me a specific time window I had to bring them in. Sure, no problem. I told them that I would have to leave to meet a contractor for a little while and was told “no problem, they can just hang out with us”. A supposed one-hour meeting with the contractor ran much later than anticipated. I called The Puppy Patch. They said no problem. THEN when I went to pick up my dogs they had the absolute audacity to add-on a full day of doggy daycare to the price of a nail trim. The dogs were only there a couple of hours. A $15 nail trim ended up costing me $107! At no point was I informed that I would be required to pay for an entire day of doggy daycare and I certainly did not give my permission for the dogs to participate in the daycare program. This is absolutely pure GREED by this business. I will never bring my dogs back there again and I strongly suggest everyone checks what they are billed and what extra charges this business tacks on!! Their greed to make a quick $92 just cost them a customer. That’s over $1,200/year of my business they won’t be getting. Bad business decision on their end.

Our family loves The Puppy Patch! Especially our ridiculously high energy foxhound. NOTHING tuckers him out like a play date with all of his friends there. The staff is wonderful and helpful. They always greet my dog so sweetly and he is always excited to go! When we had an issue with a minor injury (because dogs be dogs) they handled it very professionally and appropriately. I’d highly recommend to anyone who has a dog who is good with other dogs and wants to add enrichment to their routines!

Please for the sake of your loved puppy dog, do not take them here. - even with one good experience, they do not take care of them properly. It's very sad to see a buisness, meant to care about animals, have such a lack of respect and love for them and the clients.

I took my dog here for a grooming last week, and they did a wonderful job. She looks great. The staff was extremely friendly. I was very happy that day. I smiled big when I saw her!

I bring Tillie here for daycare a few days a week. She absolutely loves it! Drags me to the door most of the time. Staff is very friendly and it's clear they love the dogs under their watch! Haven't utilized it myself but my boss brings his dogs here for grooming and speaks highly of that service as well.

I had a great experience bringing my 21 week Portuguese Water Dog to the puppy patch for day care. The staff was very welcoming and they kept him busy. And when he got tired, they provided a place to rest. I would definitely recommend the puppy patch for daycare!

Zoe’s Sophisticats Stay: A Purr-fect Getaway Leaving Zoe, our energetic Abyssinian, for a three-night stay at Sophisticats felt like sending her to a luxury resort. Sophisticats isn’t just a place to board cats—it’s a home-away-from-home where every detail is designed to make your cat feel happy and cared for. Lisa, the owner, greeted us warmly as ever and remembered Zoe right away from our last visit. She even had notes on what Zoe loves—like cozy perches and wand toys. That thoughtful detail made us feel like Zoe was already part of the family there and instantly put us at ease. Sophisticats’ setup is truly impressive. Zoe stayed in one of their spacious, multi-level townhouses. Lisa made sure Zoe had an extra-soft blanket to burrow into (she knows how much Zoe loves doing that) and placed her favorite toy right where she’d find it. It was like setting up Zoe’s own little apartment. The daily updates were probably my favorite part. Every morning, Lisa sent photos and a little story about what Zoe had been up to. One day, she told us that Zoe adored the top perch in her townhouse, where she could watch the other cats play. Apparently, Zoe loved being an observer! Lisa has an amazing knack for understanding what each cat needs. Since Zoe is so curious and full of energy, Lisa ensured she had plenty of supervised playtime with fun toys and puzzles. She even played soft classical music in the background to keep the environment calm. We would never have thought of doing something like that! At the end of Zoe’s stay, Lisa sent us home with a summary of her visit. She let us know how Zoe ate, what her favorite activities were, and even mentioned Zoe’s “talkative streak” (she loves to chat). It’s those little touches that make Sophisticats so special. Thank you, Lisa and the Sophisticats team, for taking such wonderful care of Zoe! She came home relaxed and happy. It’s comforting to know that when we need to be away, we have a safe and stimulating environment to leave our precious family member.

What a great experience! Lisa is a true cat whisperer and she knows how to handle her furry guests. She took care of my old grump for 10 days. During his stay she was sending updates and pictures every other day. The place is clean and spacious. She even has soft music playing for the cats. She truly cares about her customers and I could not ask for more.

We toured a few places by our home before deciding to board our kitten with Lisa who is an hour drive away but SO worth it!!! No words can express enough how grateful we are to find someone so gentle and so caring. No pictures can justify just how clean and beautiful the hotel is in person. Lisa sent updates while we were away for two weeks and as first timers boarding there it calmed all nerves and allowed us to fully enjoy being away, fully trusting her with our fur baby. I was extremely nervous about going on vacation with my special needs cat. My cat is small, gentle, and fragile, and was concerned about how she would take to us being away and her being in a new location. After two back-to-back vacations, I was worried for no reason. Lisa greeted us with open arms and accommodated my cat's routine and multiple medications. My cat had an individual spacious condo with daily individual playtime. The place was calm and clean. The other cats in her care seemed content and happy! I received daily updates, and it put me at ease to see how happy my cat was. When I brought her home, she settled right back into her routine. I will be using Sophisticats for my next long trip or weekend getaway!

We have left our cat with Lisa a number of times, in stays ranging from 4 to 12 days. Our cat is well taken care of and now thinks of this place as a second home. The best thing is that when she returns home, her behavior is exactly the same as usual, happy and relaxed. We feel very secure in the knowledge that our fur baby is well taken care of when we are away. Another bonus, there are no dogs here. Highly recommended!

Customer service sub par decided to board elsewhere. Lady who picked up the phone spoke in a very monotone and flat voice, seemed very annoyed that I called in the first place and did not seem to know how to answer my questions either. I hope the person who hired her knows what they’re doing. As someone who also worked in the customer service industry, she embodied everything that you do not want to do when you pick up the phone.

I have only boarded my cat once before and for a short amount of time and was a wreck leaving him. I found Lisa and met with her before it was time to board my cat and my worries immediately went away. When the time came, she was so thorough and understanding of my concerns and made sure to address every one of them! She sent me updates with pictures every day and it was evident that my cat was in the best hands while I was away. I can’t recommend Lisa enough!!

My daughter had an emergency situation over Labor Day weekend and we had called many places to find someone who could take care of my daughter's three cats. Lisa said she could take them in as long as they were up-to-date on their immunizations. Lisa and her staff took wonderful care of the kitties. Sophisticats is a wonderful, clean, professional and caring environment for your cats. I would highly recommend them!

Loved Sophisticats! I left my cat there for 11 days and Lisa constantly updated me on him and I could tell she truly cared for my cat. The place is very clean and well-kept. I would definitely bring my cat back and I would highly recommend!

Camp Becca is the best! Finally, reliable care with people that truly care and love animals. We have several large rescue dogs and a few have special needs. They all love Camp Becca. One of them, Scarlet, is blind and very shy with everyone, but I knew Camp Becca was perfect for us when they won over Scarlet. Truly a miracle!

We love Camp Becca!!! They take care of our 2 year old dog with walks and recently she stayed overnight at Camp Becca for Thanksgiving, When the walkers leave - our dog sits by the door waiting for them to come back - she just loves them all so much. Every single person we have dealt with has treated us and our dog so well - the love and care they have for animals shines through all they do. The app for setting up appointments is easy to us which we appreciate as we are a busy family and sometimes I forget to set up things until last minute. We trust Camp Becca above and beyond - thankful we found them.

I use Camp Becca for dog walking, house sitting and grooming. They are great for all these things. They are easy to schedule appointments, their people are reliable and I always get updates. Also - Alison the groomer is excellent. My two Samoyeds are not easy to groom and she does a fantastic job. She has been the best groomer I have used.

Being a pup mom is challenging sometimes - finding the proper care is tough. I was so happy when my friend recommended Becca to watch Daphne while we went on vacation. Here is what I can report having had Becca and her team look after Daphne (my 8 lb. Maltese) on multilple occasions... She is like having your favorite cousin who you love, that lives down the street from you care for your pup. During Daphne's 5 day stay she sent videos and pictures of Daphne living her best life, I could tell just how happy she was and she clearly LOVES Becca! I had Alison the groomer wash Daphne and she came home smelling and looking fabulous! In addition to the 5 day stay we have done daycare (wonderful!) and home visits and walks (A+!) We loved our walker (Geordanne) who was also great about communication and pics. I am so grateful for Camp Becca and highly recommend. It is nice for Daphne to be able to run and play with other dogs, its a beautiful environment there. Love her.

We have been taking our dog Murray to Camp Becca for years, whenever we go on vacation. He is growing old and needs to feel comfortable when we are away. He LOVES Camp Becca and enjoys the company of the other dogs. He is also quite fond of Becca and Danny. They show a genuine interest in his well-being and are so kind and patient. We are so grateful to be able to leave him in such good hands! He comes home tired but happy!

I have used Camp Becca's petsitting services while I was on a recent vacation - my dogs stayed as overnight guests with Becca and my cats were visited and cared for by Peggy. I highly recommend both types of services. All of my animals were very well taken care of and doted on. In addition, the mail was brought in and kept everything in the house was kept tidy. I received regular updates and never worried for a second while on vacation. I will definitely be using Camp Becca's services in the future.

We’ve been using Camp Becca since Harper was still a puppy. Whenever we need somebody to walk Harper or pick Harper up from her daycare Becca and Peggy have always been there to help, even with short notice. Harper can be very stubborn at times, but Peggy has always been very patient with Harper. We’re glad we found Camp Becca. Becca and Peggy have always been a great help, their service is top notch and I would not trust Harper with anybody else but Becca and Peggy. Thank you Camp Becca!

Had a great experience boarding my big dog here for several days. Clean place, conveniently located & excellent communication during setting up the stay and when I checked in along the way to see how my girl was doing. Highly recommend.

Our female GSD has spent several nights and days here and she always seems excited to go back each time. They’ve been inexpensive, friendly, and knowledgeable with her. She was severely mistreated and injured at another pet resort in Hillsborough NJ and folks at Club Canine took the time to make sure she was comfortable and a good fit. We’re happy we found these great people. I believe they have a great deal of experience with GSD breed, which is important to us.

They have a way with dogs, you can very much tell they've been working with dogs for many years. Had ours boarded there for 7 days and the whole process was easy and stress free!

I take my female German Shepherd here whenever I have to board her, which is not very often. I researched local kennels before chosing Club Canine, and this is the only kennel she's ever been to. What other kennel takes your dog it several times daily. When I picked her up a few wks ago, Courage had had a bath, both she and her dog bed smelled great. My daughter was miffed that Courage loved her handler so much. What more could you ask for? Discount for cash payment? Yup, that too. I highly recommend Club Canine. Make sure you have a record of vaccinations. I use South Branch Vet. The two places are almost next door to each other. South Branch takes a picture of your pet, then gives you an ID card with all Vacs and dates listed to carry on your wallet. Easy Peasy

I’ve been hiring Tom / Paw Sitters for the last 2 years to help look after my pup! His services are incredible, my pup absolutely loves him and I can see that he’s truly created a lasting bond with my pup. Tom walks my dog 3-4 times a week while I’m at work or even away for a weekend. He’s even stayed multiple times at my home overnight to help watch over my pup when we’re away for a weekend. She treats Daisy like her own & I am always at ease when I know Daisy is being cared for by Lexi. My experience with Jen’s has been great from the first contact with her business. We were new to the area last summer and were referred to her by several neighbors and pet stores in the area. I moved back into the Hunterdon County area in February 2024 with a Golden Retriever puppy named Beans; she was less than 4 months old at the time. Being I had to work full-time, I prayed that the perfect walker would come into her life and love her as their own. I was referred to Jen's Happy Pets. Well, even writing this now brings me tears. Jen, the owner, took the time to listen to the needs of my situation and empathized with the challenges of raising a puppy on my own. She promised she would pair me with the perfect fit. Jen's team exceeded my expectations. Jen paired me with TWO fantastic, loving, compassionate, responsible, caring, playful, respectful, and kind individuals; Nik and Mare. Jen, Mare, and Nik loved Beans as their own. Beans loved her second family; as I called them. On September 15th, 2024 my whole world changed; Beans went into the hospital and died on September 18th; being less than 1 year old. The team continued to shower me with empathy and love; bringing me food, flowers, and still continually check up on me to make sure I am doing ok. The pain of Beans' death is unexplainable and having a team like Jen's Happy Pets helps my sad days. I feel blessed that Beans' was surrounded by such an amazing extended family during her short time here, and that Beans helped me to meet all these wonderful people. Although, I am not ready for another puppy yet; I will absolutely be calling on them to help with my second; if that becomes my reality someday. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Jen's Happy Pets and the team to care for your pets; pets are children and everyone needs to know that your pets will be loved in the same way you love them. I am not sure if we got a new person, but the grooming was average. We gave them two chance, but will not be going back. For the price, i want someone that listens and gives us what we discussed and asked for.

We've been going here for 5 years and this is the only place we will trust with our dog. She is always happy when we get back and we know she was well cared for. Roy is a great guy, very responsive, and really cares about what he does. Reasonable prices too, although the piece of mind while we're away is priceless!

Tarheel is absolutely amazing!! They took care of my 4 yr old bunny in my home! When I came back everything was clean and in order. My baby was happy and very well taken are of. I felt comfortable going away knowing that they have exotic pet knowledge. I would definitely use them again for in home pet services.

I have used and continue to use their service. I’ve recently moved to the area and had to go back to work so finding a place where my dog is comfortable and with a caring and experienced staff was a top priority for me. I found it at Tarheel! I love how caring they are. They stand out and my little Jack loves everyone. They are the absolute best. I have no regrets and most importantly my Jack is in very good hands.

My dogs absolutely love coming here while we're away and Tarheel also does home visits. Home visits are perfect when you're getting home later than you intended or just want someone to pop in when you're out all day and Roy and the whole staff are incredible, kind, and responsive. My pets will all go here forever. They also have extensive knowledge of rabbits, which is not common with boarding places and take excellent care of my rabbit

Tarheel is an amazing place to bring your pups. Roy and family and all of the wonderful people that work there are such a pleasure! My 2 pups love being there, doggie day camp is so fun for them plus they make house calls, if your have to work late and your pup needs dinner they’ll come or you just need them to be let out once during the day, they’ll come. Bring your dogs in for a quick nail trimming or a bath or an extended stay..they do it all. I can’t say enough about this company, the love and care they show your pups is so appreciated! We have used Jamie's services for the last 10 years for boarding, day camp and training for 3 dogs over the years. She is knowledgeable and caring. It is so comforting to know that when you are traveling our dogs are under her care. The only problem is our dogs don't want to come home after being at Jamie's!!!!!!! Cannot reccomend her enough to anyone that truly loves their dogs like family!!!

My husband and I used Jamie Levin the Pet Professor many years ago to train one of our dogs. She was amazing. In fact I plan to call her again for my current dog. She was gentle and firm but positive and persistent. Her training resulted in a well behaved devoted and loyal pet. And she did it all without disciplining the dog. He was eager to obey her because she gained his trust.

I've used Jamie to care for my dog now 4+ years and she is the only one to this day that can run him without a leash and he doesn't take off on her. He plays, exercise's and just loves going there!

Terrible, irresponsible caretaker. "Pet Professor" Jamie Levin should be ashamed of herself. Great marketing, heartbreaking scene for my dogs. Picked them up days early after Pet Professor Jamie Levin left town while supposedly boarding them. Left "someone" in charge to check in on the dogs. Feces matted on their fur, no water. Despicable. She shrugged it off- like, what's the big deal?

A wonderful experience. The dogs were well cared for, played with daily. Everything was clean and all questions answered both when arriving as well as leaving at the end of the day. Highly recommend!!!!

We are so happy with the pet boarding services Carmelina provides for our dog Daisy! We recently moved to the area and were looking for someone we could trust to watch over Daisy while we are out of town. Best pet sitter I’ve ever had! Super professional and trustworthy. Carmelina has done an excellent job for the past two years looking after our two cats while we are away on vacations. She takes meticulous notes during her initial visit to make sure she is informed about all the important house and pet info, including backup house entry and what to do in emergencies. Always leaves the litter spotless and sends along lots of pictures! Great service at an affordable price. Would recommend to anyone.

Mel is a Godsend! While recovering from hip surgery I was able to enjoy having my dog because I was confident of her coming every day (twice!!) until I could. She is also concerned about how my pup likes to walk /his safety /and any particulars / you can talk about it all and she listens and communicates! Now that I’m recovered I am keeping her in my dogs life and feel free to pursue more outside activities because I have found someone I can trust and rely on!

I highly recommend Carmelina for overnight pet sitting! From the initial meet and greet to a two night stay in our home, Carmelina went above and beyond to make us and our pets comfortable, and to ensure that our pet’s routines were not disrupted in the least bit. Steve was AMAZING! He took such great care of my brother’s dog like if he was his own! Pictures and video everyday to update us and give us peace of mind. He is so genuine and caring, I would not hesitate to take our dogs to him!

Perfect! Steve has impeccable timing; he answered our first call fast and was even able to sit my puppy for almost three days at last minute. He gave frequent check ins through videos, photos, and messages. He always responded quickly. Steve has three dogs and they made my puppy feel so comfortable. My puppy's never been around dogs so up close before and for so long but she was able to play with them and even sniff them! My puppy's also not a huge fan of adults but she adored Steve and his partner, Randy. Their house and backyard was the perfect space for a puppy's vacation. It was like they gave her V.I.P. service! Steve gave her plenty of love, affection, toys, and treats! Definitely an amazing and wonderful first experience with a pet sitter. 10/10 will certainly come back again :)

Steven is wonderful. Puts me at ease when I'm away. Extremely reliable even came extra times since my dog was a little anxious the first 2 days we were gone. He truly loves animals and my dog absolutely loves him. His prices are very reasonable as well. Would highly recommend.

Me and my husband used Steven’s doggy services to look after our 3 cats while we had a vacation in Italy for a week. He went above and beyond everyday and even sent photos and videos to us. Unfortunately he’s moving to a new area so we will have to find a new sitter in the future. But whoever has the opportunity to work with Steven will not have to worry about anything at all. I can’t say enough great things about Steven and his way with my dogs! My 2 dogs are dog aggressive and Steven has helped me tremendously over the last 6 months get them to be calm and not go into attack mode when other dogs pass. My dogs love him and can’t wait for his daily visits. He genuinely cares for my pups as if they were his own! Truly the best!

We have used Steven's services a few times with our beloved cat Georgie. Being that George has severe separation anxiety, we worry about him on the frequent business trips we must take. Steven's care seems to do something a little extra to make our boy seem happier then when we left him. Prior to his service, asking family members or friends to tend for him, he seemed very distressed and a bit "destructive" when we returned. Since using Stevens, he has seemed much happier when we returned, has greatly reduced his destructive "incidents", and overall seems like a happier cat.
