Our two boys and our daughter's girl are just home from a 5 day stay. Absolutely delighted with their care at this unique pet hotel. Nothing like "kennels" and excellent care as well as fantastic facilities. Brian, Margaret and the girls clearly treat their residents like their own! Thank you so much.....our dogs are home..healthy, happy and tired!

My boy Vinnie seems to have had a great time with Brian and Margaret. He was following them around when I arrived to collect him. They took great care of him for me. It is a lovely setting with plenty of safe space outside for them to run or wander with the other dogs. I would highly recommend this kennel.

Excellent comfortable accommodation, which my wee rescue boy thoroughly enjoyed. Was his usual happy wee chap when I collected him. So glad I found The Dogchester. Definitely gold star for Margaret and Brian’s care.

Our wee Shih Tzu had his first experience staying in a dog boarding situation in June of this year with Margaret, Brian and team. They took exceptional care of him and he came home clean, well fed and happy. We expected him to be unsure at first but the team took the time to help him feel at ease. Facilities are fantastic! And exceptionally clean! Will be back

My 6 girls stay at the Dogchester when I go on holiday. They are all so well looked after. They are in a huff when I get them home, lol. I totally trust the Dogchester with the care of my girls and I won't go anywhere else now. Thank you 🐾🐶❤️ …

We recently starting using Dogchester after a recommendation from a family member. Whilst we were abroad for our wedding, we received a phone call from Margaret that our dog, Nala, seemed to have suddenly been unable to walk. We both agreed that if the situation becomes worse, then Nala should be taken to the nearest vet the next day. The following day I missed an early morning phone call from Margaret but she texted to inform us that she has taken Nala to our local vets in East Kilbride and was waiting to get referred to the vet hospital in Bearsden. We later discovered that Nala had a slipped disc (due to structural deficiency) and had to undergo an emergency operation immediately. If it wasn't for Brian and Margaret's quick thinking and efforts in taking our dog to the vet then there would have been a greater chance of Nala being unable to walk again. We are so grateful for Margaret and Brian being there for Nala in such perilous situation. I cant imagine the stress that they two must have been under having to take someone else's precious injured pet to the vet, not even factoring the long journey from Lesmahagow to East Kilbride vets then having all the waiting time at the vet hospital in Bearsden. I can't stress how forever indebted we are to Dogchester for saving our precious Nala. Margaret and Brian have been keeping in touch with us ever since and asking for updates on Nala's recovery. This truly shows they really care about your dogs and its not just a business for them.

Set out in the country side on a big bit of land. This is a true dog hotel,it has a reception desk and the dogs get a large room with a raised bed,television and doors leading to a small outdoor area. The owners are true dog lovers and although it is hard to go away and leave your fur babies I did feel comfortable in that they would be well cared for

Great boarding kennels. My 12 year old beagle came back looking like a puppy. She loved it! Great staff too very friendly.

Owners are excellent. Only place I feel comfortable leaving my dog, i couldnt leave my dog just anywhere and the owners really do ensure hes looked after and gets the attention he needs. Thanks. Used several times and worth every penny.

Our first time leaving our rescue dog while we go on holiday and we were a bit nervous as he can be reactive with other dogs, our minds were put at ease by Jim and when we picked our dog up he seemed to be happy and had a good time (taking a shine to another dog who was also staying at the retreat). We'd highly recommend and will definitely book Roki here next time we go away (if there's space).

I left Skye, my lovely, and lively, little Cocker with Angela and Jim, who are real "doggy people". Skye had super accommodation, and lots of space to run and enjoy the company of other dogs. She was a happy wee dog when I saw her after her wee holiday. I will certainly use CVPR again.

Fantastic dog boarding, owners were very welcoming and friendly and put our minds at ease as we had never put our dog in boarding before. When we picked him up, it was great to see him giving the owners cuddles and seeing videos of his time when away. We will definitely use again in the future! Thank you.

Angela & Jim are lovely people's. More importantly, our dog Hamish loves their place, because of them. Could not recommend them enough.

Best kennels I have ever been to great service and my dogs are well looked after

Jim and Angela are absolutely wonderful. Their care of our 2 labradors - one young and bouncy, the second, older and more reserved, was second to none. Jim kept us updated with photos and videos on a daily basis. But the best thing was seeing how the dogs responded when we picked them up. As they danced around us, running from one family member to another, Jim was included: he was now clearly a pack-member. I cannot think of a higher accolade. And our reserved dog looked at us contentedly (he normally avoids eye contact if we have to leave him, and can keep that up for a long time). It is such a relief to know that places like this exist. It was home-from-home for our dogs. Thank you Jim and Angela!

My Cavapoo loved this place. She stayed for around 11 days and came back home very happy indeed. The owners are lovely people too. The rooms for the dogs are huge! I will certainly be using this place again. Thank you Clyde Valley Pet Retreat

Can’t recommend Brian enough, my dog is a regular for daycare and boarding and I honestly wouldn’t want to leave her with anyone else. Brian sends regular pictures and videos via WhatsApp and I can see how much fun she’s having and how chilled out she is. I also see how happy she is to see Brian when I drop her off so I know that’s she’s happy and having a great time.

Can't recommend Brian enough, he offers a 1st class professional service. Our dog Gizmo was homeboarding for 2 weeks, he slept in Brian's daughter room. We were sent daily updates with photos & videos. We could see he was happy playing with the other dogs & going to run free field also out for walks & playing in back garden. Will definitely use Brian again he is so accommodating when our flight was changed he was happy for Gizmo to stay an extra night. It is so reassuring to know that you're fur baby is happy & being taken care of 5 stars all the way

I was really nervous leaving Cookie (June 2023), as she was 7 months old but Brian did a fantastic job with her as all the animals are treated as part of the family. We were sent via WhatsApp photos of how she was doing as this is so reassuring that our dog was happyand being taken care of.. I would 💯 percent use again. Thanks Brian for taking care of her

Artemis Exotic Pet Boarding was absolutely brilliant would highly recomend to anyone. Jade was 1st class with my beardie Ralph and cares for the pets unlike some places that take them in and dont bother with them. Kept upto date with pics and videos. Proper heat, lighting and keeps the pets well fed.Any time im working away or on holliday ill use Artemis. No option for 10 stars as 5 is not enough. Thanks again Jade Ralph will miss u untill next time

Our tortoise had a week with Jade. It was such a relief to know that she was being looked after by someone with genuine interest and enthusiasm for all animals. Jade kept us informed of her health and sent us pics regularly. We will be booking all of our tortoise's trips with Jade from now on!

Booked my beardie in for 10 days with Jade and it looked like he had an absolute blast! She kept me up to date with photos and how he doing through out his stay which I loved. Jade was so nice and couldn't be more helpful. We brought our 3 ferrets to her for their first time away from us. She has a lovely set up with lots of toys and things to keep them occupied and stimulated. She spent time with us getting to know the boys and their routines before we left. The picture and video updates were brilliant and the boys looked so content and happy throughout. When we arrived to pick them up, they were still quite happy to stay and were climbing all over Jade for some attention. One of our ferrets is a rescue and doesn't quite warm to other people, but he seemed to love her! None of our ferrets seemed pushed in any way to come home with us! I would definitely be recommending Artemis Boarding, Jade obviously has a genuine love and interest in giving the animals the very best possible care and attention. Couldn't recommend enough!

My 2 boys spent 10 days with Jade whilst I was on holiday and think they are gutted to be back home! Jade's setup inside her home for ferrets was phenomenal and I was kept regularly updated with videos. Service was very professional, cannot recommend enough. Will definitely be using Artemis again and would recommend to all :)

First time we've left our bearded dragon but definitely won't hesitate leaving him in future with Jade. Frequent pictures and videos when we were away and now he's home a happy and healthy dragon. Thanks.

Jade's been absolutly amazing with our gang of 4 ferrets - she's our go to now for whenever we need to go away. So pleased to have found someone we can trust - especially now a couple of the gang are older and on regular medication - and they get to stay indoors, which is so much better for them since that's what they're used to at home. She's been really thougher with getting all the info she needs from us about their routine, eating habits/times, medication info, vet info etc. She has a ferret herself too, so knows what she's doing with them, with is really reassuring. And she clearly looks after them so well and seems to enjoy having them - sometimes I wonder if they're having more fun with her than they do at home! lol. She comes up with stuff for them to play with, and she's really getting to know their wiered little personalities. She is able to provide a cage, provides blankets etc, and will cook chicken for them (their go-to treat!) - and her house is right near the moterway, so it's really simple dropping them off....and she keeps in touch, sends whatsapp videos and pics of how they're getting on, which is really nice. Couldn't reccomend more :)

Our 3 ferrets had a great time on their return visit to Jade's while we were on holiday. Jade is so thoughtful and attentive. We appreciated the regular videos which reassured us that they were having a good time. They're already booked in for their next visit!!

Cookie and Jinx our two ferrets stayed for a week with Jade for their first holiday and they had a blast! Jade kept us updated with videos every day and I could see they had settled in so well and were happy running about playing with toys and each other. They were very content and well looked after. I would definitely recommend Artemis boarding to others and Cookie and Jinx will definitely return for future holidays. 5 star ⭐️ service! Thanks 😊

Tortie absolutely loved his stay with Jade. He was so well looked after and given loads of attention, interaction and stimulation. He was less of his grumpy self and enjoyed dandelion treats and outside adventures in a safe enclosed space. We, his servants, were kept updated regularly with all of his antics while we were away. Artemis is a fantastic boarding facility and Jade is so knowledgeable, with her passion for the animals she is looking after shining through. 100% recommend.

Any time we go on holiday we always book our bunnies in with Frances. It is like their second home. Frances always looks after them so well & is very passionate about her job & clearly loves spending time with them. We can’t thank Frances enough and it gives us peace of mind when we are away knowing that the bunnies are well looked after.

Jerry and Bob love coming for there holidays , Frances spoils them and they have so much fun. Frances is sp good with the animals it's its so reassuring know they are in the best hands when I am on holiday.

I am trying to find the best description but it’s really hard. Simple: EXCELLENT! Our Gizmo (hermann tortoise) enjoyed his lovely holiday. We got plenty of pictures/videos about his adventures. It’s not a pet boarding it’s a HOTEL! :) If you are planning a holiday and you have to left behind your small loved one, I can highly recommend this place. Your little one will be in the greatest hands. I took a look around the place, and the all I can say: It’s just brilliant! Nice organized place, bunnies, tortoises and guinea piggies like a little zoo. I love it. I am absolutely sure we will book again soon.

Excellent experience. Frances explained everything, took good care of our animals and kept us updated. The other animals in her care also clearly loved it there! We will be returning next summer all being well.

Our bunny had a weeks holiday at McMarshys. She was a pampered bun with plenty of exercise time everyday. Frances was very welcoming and showed us about the place which is always very reassuring for a bunny mum. Got lots of pics to update us during the week which was fantastic. When collecting her we got to see how relaxed she was at her holiday home, don’t think she wanted to leave. So glad I found this place. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Frances x

This is the best place to send your animals. Frances looks after them from start to finish and nothing is an issue for her ! She even upon request to try for us, Got all three of our bunnies bonded as we had just lost our 4 th rabbit ! They are happy here and have the full garden to jump about as well! We also took our tortoise here. She is very reliable with a great service will 100% be back!

Our rabbit Wombat had a chill and full of love holiday at McMarshys. Frances regularly sent us the video and photos, this is very appreciated, as we miss wombat during the trip. But definitely, wombat forgot us, he made friends with his neighbors, walk around the garden, happy hop a lots. Seems like his home now, wombat said he will be back. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

Hammy enjoyed a weeks holiday here. Frances was very welcoming and you can tell how much she cares for all the animals. We were updated through the week with photos and videos which was reassuring. Fantastic service and would definitely recommend. Thank you!!

This is our horsefield tortoise's second stay with Frances and we are so happy. Frances is hugely knowledgeable and loving towards all the animals in her care. She provided him with a great temporary set up as ours is too large to be portable and sent regular updates on WhatsApp. Tortie had a wonderful holiday and has been very well looked after. 10/10 recommend

My dog absolutely loves his days at Bow WOW - he can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive. He has a great time with his doggy pals, and I can relax and concentrate on whatever else I need to do, confident that he's happy, secure, and being well looked after. Highly recommended.

I took my 8 month old puppy to Edith yesterday to have him totally groomed.; cut, claws trimmed, you name it. I was worried about this as the last groomer he was at could not carry out the grooming as she said Rory was frightened of the noise, therefore showing anxious traits. However Edith showed me a video she had taken of Rory and he appeared anything but anxious and is now looking a handsome wee chappie who looks like he has lost so much weight after getting his hair cut and groomed. Cannot thank Edith and her staff for their professional grooming and would highly recommend her to anyone. He cannot stop looking at his reflection and I think I may have a wee boy diva on my hands. Do you have a cat that gets super stressed or anxious in cattery or being home boarded elsewhere ? Then get in touch with Val. She came to my home multiple times a day to feed and spend some time with my cat Ace . Val must have the magic touch as Ace was chatting away to her and being a good boy (he doesn't really like people except me) so it was very reassuring to know he was happy , content and relaxed while I got to enjoy a holiday. I arrived home to very a happy cat . Would recommend Vals services anytime . Great communication, prices are fantastic, having that peace of mind is priceless . Thank you again from Ace and me 😺🐾

Can’t recommend Val highly enough. A true dog lover, very knowledgeable and always goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is well looked after during her walk and after. She has even helped with my other dog after surgery. There are not many people I would trust to look after my dogs but Val is definitely one of them.

I have a very active, highly strung Vizsla that Val at Animal collective services has walked from 4 months old(now 14months). Izzy absolutely adores Val and her dog Finn. Val is a dog walker who is genuinely a dog lover. I trust her 100% and can’t recommend her highly enough. Committed to small size and temperament tested group walks is a massive plus for me.

You know your dog is well cared for here, photos videos posted showing the dogs having fun together, dog gets all excited as we approach the gate as he knows hes going to see all his friends then comes home and just falls asleep sometimes I struggle to get him out his evening walk as he refuses to get out his bed

Took my cat for a week long stay at the Cozy Glen Cattery and Kennels. It was her first time staying away, John (the owner) was super welcoming, friendly and reassuring. John kindly gave us updates when we were on holiday which eased our anxiety. Would definitely use Cozy Glen again as the experience was good and the price was very reasonable.

Left my kitten Stormy with John for a week. He always answered my messages giving updates and took good care of her. Would recommend and will definitely use again.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the care and treatment our sweet dog Rosie received whilst away from us for the first time. She is an anxious dog and wasn't eating for the first wee while (she does this even if we are out of the house for a few hours) and John was absolutely fantastic with her. He made a big fuss over her and made sure she was eating which is not always the easiest task. We were anxious leaving her but I have no hesitation of putting her into John's capable care again in the future. We cannot thank him enough for keeping us in the loop whilst we were away too. We have a dog reactive Staffy that we rescued and for the first 3 years of owning him, hadn't gone in holiday because we couldn't find a kennel that would meet his needs. However, John and Lydnsey have been real difference to our lives and, despite Cosy Glen being a considerable way from our house, they are the only kennel we use barring one short term emergency situation. Their rates are very reasonable and the dogs are well looked after including following individual feeding plans. Our dog is very happy there and John and Lyndsey have been very supportive and aware of our dog's development to the point that we had him trained without mentioning it to them and they commented on the behaviour change immediately after his stay with them. The location of Cosy Glen is fantastic if you have a dog that is traumatised by fireworks, like ours. Indeed, we take our boy to them every November and New Year even if we aren't going away. The kennels are clean and spacious and our dog clearly enjoys going there. There is the ability to pay by card at Cosy Glen, which is a welcome addition to the service they provide.

I can't recommend Cosy Glen highly enough. This is the first time I have ever put my dog in kennels so I was, understandably very worried about how she would be. There was absolutely NO need for me to worry, I got a message on her second night there to say she had settled really well, was eating and playing great. This meant I could relax and enjoy my own holiday. When I picked her up today, although she was quite happy to see me, she still wanted to follow Lindsey, so safe to say Miss Rosie had a ball on her holiday and, if they will have her, she will definitely be back at Cosy Glen again. Thank you again for having her. Xx

Popped in unannounced to book our cat in for a holiday in September. Not a problem as owner is so nice. Have used Cosy Glen for years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Our cat is always very well cared for and doesn't want to come home. Highly recommended.

Put all my dogs into cosy glen keenels for 2 weeks as i was moving house. On arrival you are greeted by either 1 of the friendly staff or john himself. Very nice and friendly people and kennels are set in a great spot, great area for your pets. Felt totally at ease knowing my pets were being cared for while i was moving and you are always updated on how your pets were doing. Definately be using again and would highly recommend.

We have been using cozy glen to look after our wee boy many times over the years- we find our wee boy is happy and well looked after. John and team are lovely people and we always feel confident that Winston is looked after. Would highly recommend- 5star plus plus

Love these kennels, staff are fantastic with both the animals and owners! Never have to worry about my dog or cat while they are in here, wouldn't use anywhere else and highly recommend cozy glen.

Our cuddly but crazy cocker spaniel has stayed at Ramoth for a couple of short holidays, our wedding and our honeymoon. We wouldn’t leave him with anyone else! He is so well looked after and every time he goes running into their house without looking back. He is treated like a member of their family and we are kept updated with lots of photos allowing us to stay relaxed on our holiday knowing he’s well looked after and forgotten we exist!

Dog owners who love dogs and have them in their home......your mut will be well looked after👌👍 …
