Sharon is wonderful. I have a 100lb rescue who was abused before coming to our home. Sharon has taken special care to help our Trooper adapt to her being around and walking him. He is super excited when she comes and it's clear he has learned to trust her. I love that she has been so patient and reassuring with him. Her handling is certainly part of his growth. We are so glad to have found her.

Sharon does a wonderful job with our sometimes stubborn walker! She ensures he gets the much needed attention and outdoor time on days we are away at work. She does a good job working with his capabilities and attitude on a given day which might be more ball time in the backyard versus a long walk. She is also very attentive to our dog's needs and makes sure to refill his water. Sharon has been great at accommodating our irregular schedules, and is a great communicator. We always receive a confirmation so we know we are on the schedule and receive cute photos and updates from each visit. We highly recommend Sharon to anyone in the area!

Sharon, Mitch and their family did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, 2 cats, 10 chickens and watering the garden while on our family vacation. During the hottest time of the year she kept everyone cool. Even tho we were in another country our ongoing communication for any animal needs showed her attention to detail and gave us peace of mind. By sending us a few photos to let us know that all was being taken care of and we didn’t need to worry. Sharon will treat your animals like they are her own . We hired Sharon to take care of our cats when were out of state for the weekend, and she did a great job! It was easy to schedule the sessions and she was quick to reply to any questions we had (both before and after the meet and greet visit). Our cats all have different diets/eating habits, so they're not the easiest to care for, but I felt like our cats were in great hands. Thanks again, Sharon!

Sharon is such a wonderful caretaker. Our dog is older, so allowing her to remain in her home and familiar surroundings when we travel is so helpful. And, with Sharon available, I know that she'll be well taken care of and loved.

When we were out of town for more than three days, we would always have Urbana Pet Care to take care of our two cats. The sitter would help to change water, clean the litter, play with our cats, and send us photos. The sitter was really responsible and provided great service!

Best pet-sitting service ever! We were not satisfied with our previous pet sitter and were reluctant to try another. I then browsed the website Yelp and found Urbana Pet Care, which was highly recommended. My husband and I decided to give it a try. We just had our first pet sitting engagement with Urbana Pet Care last month. The staff showed genuine concern and care towards my pet, which in turn made me feel more comfortable having them take care of my pet. Rice was amazing with our cat Catty and texted detailed updates with pictures every day to us, making sure that we were at ease. It's always great to get updates about your pet while you are away. We were very pleased once again with Urbana Pet Care, and would certainly recommend them based on our experience.

I have used Urbana Pet Care for a few months to take care of our two doggies🐕🐕 when we go out of town. We always have someone from the Urbana team stay at our house so we don't mess with their routine. Recently we went on a 2 week cruise to Italy, France and Germany and left our pups to the sitter Rice. He emailed us pictures of the pups having fun and laying around every day, letting me know how my doggies did in their daily walk😊. I also appreciate that my home alarm system is always reset properly and the door locked every day. Makes me feel safe knowing Urbana is responsible for both my pet and my home. My neighbor also recently told me that she saw my dogs out with her new walker the other day and my doggies looked like they were having a great time🎉🎉🎉👍! Thanks! We started using Urbana Pet Care’s midday dog walking service two years ago so our dog can take a bathroom break everyday while we are at work. The team has been doing great ever since! The walks are always on time and the walker is really friendly - my buddy loves her! And when there is an emergency, the team always has back up. Recently we went on vacation and were unable to bring our dog. So instead of boarding, I tried their in home pet sitting service for my dog and to take care of my cat also. It was great, I received pictures and updates from every visit so I didn’t have to worry while on vacation. Overall, they always keep us updated, are very efficient at communicating, and are a very nice team to work with. Highly recommended!

We requested cat pet sit service during our vacation time. We receive a video or image update for each visits and the sitter follows the instructions carefully. Everything went well and they deserve a 5 star rate! I will be back in touch for my next trip with Urbana Pet Care.

Top-notch pet care!🎁 I was soooooo lucky to meet Urbana Pet Care, the best pet sitter I have found in the area, hands down. I have a British Shorthair & also several cats.🐱 The cats are strictly indoor & my biggest fear is that they will somehow get out while the front door is being opened/closed, as they are curious creatures. But Urbana Pet Care exceeded my expectations and took great care of my kitty every time. My little puppy always seemed happy when I would come back from my works or trips, which is proof that the pet care specialist would actually take the time to play with her, to brush her and give her attention. I can't recommend Urbana Pet Care enough if you're looking for a great cat sitter or dog walker with reasonable rates who will give you peace of mind!👍👍👍

Rice to the rescue!! We had to leave town overnight without notice and worried as we have a little dog 🐶that we were not willing to leave with strangers or in a cage at some boarding facility. We asked our friend and he recommended Urbana to us. We then called Urbana and asked if there was any way they could help. 📲A few minutes later, Rice, the owner, was on the phone and even insisted on driving us to and from the airport. ✈️ Rice welcomed our doggie into his own home 🏠and sent us updates and pics every few hours. So incredibly relieved to have been able to tend to an emergency without having the stress of worrying about our little one!🆒 I am thrilled with Urbana and will definitely offer a recommendation to anyone with pets. 🤩🤩Rice and his team have done a wonderful job. They love animals, and they know how to take care of the things you'll be worried about before you even get a chance to worry!👏

Just finished an overnight stay service for a long weekend with Pet and Home Care and couldn’t be more pleased with the care of our pet. My cat is very shy, but warms right up to Autumn. Pet & Home Care did such a wonderful job in taking care of our older mixed Malti-poo Taco, and sharing with us how he was doing each day, the other dogs he was playing with and how his time was there at their lovely kennel. I haven't signed on with anyone yet; I am looking for a licensed and bonded dog walker. I have a 2 year old Goldendoodle who needs to be walked. He is about 65lbs and is a delight. The only problem is that I am 71 years old and was walking him for quite a while. However, unfortunately, I had a bad experience while walking him. He bolted (friendly) toward another dog being walked and pulled me over; I broke my shoulder and can no longer walk him. I'm interested in finding a great dog walker.

Joanna runs a very reliable and trustworthy pet sitting and dog walking company. I've asked for last minute help in taking care of my pup a couple of times now, and both times, Joanna obliged without hesitation. She is flexible and responsive, and more importantly, her and her team are attentive to my dog's needs during visits. I am so extremely happy that I found these folks. They cared about our dogs as if they were truly their own. Joanna came to meet us along with Courtney, who would be taking care of our pups. She is truly the best at what she does!

Joanna is fantastic! We are so glad that we had her be our pet concierge while we went on a short vacation. It was such peace of mind knowing that our furry kids were being cared for by someone trustworthy, reliable, and friendly. A million times better than dropping off the fur kids off at some kennel, which only stresses them (and us) out. I'm so glad for this service and will be using her services again soon!

My Husband found Woofin and we are both extremely happy that he did. While we only needed a lunchtime visit, knowing that our pups were in good hands made our worries go away. Dawn has watched our 9 year old lab a couple of different times, this last trip was for ten days while we were away on vacation. I shopped around for a pet sitter and let my pup decide where he was most comfortable. I decided to walk my pup to Dawn’s front door on his leash for our first meeting. I was not going to cling to my pup by carrying him into the house. To my surprise, my pup was so excited to go in the house and made himself right at home, wagging his tail with excitement. Dawn is a caring pet sitter who has watched our pup many times. One time we needed her for a week. Her entire family welcomed our Alice with affection and attention. She even got to sleep with family members! Dawn is very diligent with Alice’s diet and meds as well. Alice tends to be nervous but when I drop her off with Dawn she is so excited to go in! I am very comfortable that Alice is being cared for with responsibility and affection. I highly recommend her!

Dawn takes wonderful care of both our dogs and rabbits -- we could not ask for any better care! Our pets are so happy wehn we return home, which is such a good indicator of being well cared for. Dawn also is also very accommodating and flexible when our travel plans change, including adding in extra days of pet care when travel gets unexpectedly extended (snow storms, cancelled flights, etc.).

We could never say enough amazing things about Crystal and how devoted she is to our pup. We found her right as we adopted our husky as new puppy and she has been able to be with him and watch him grow for the past two years now. Our pup loves her just as much as we do! Crystal always goes above and beyond to make sure that our dog, our home, our privacy, and our things are treated with care and respect. She has so many times stayed longer with our dog than necessary in the event that he had an accident, got sick, or something out of the ordinary happened. She is in CONSTANT communication with us and gives really excellent visual reports on how her time with your pet has gone. She even does little things like bringing in mail and sending us homemade treats (which our dog LOVES). She will treat your pet and your home like her own. We don't know what we would do without her!

Crystal takes extra time with my Great Dane and his guard dog instincts. She is patient while he warms up, and has him sitting in her lap by the end of every visit! She just knows animals. I never worry when we leave our boy with her. She’s professional, responsive, and flexible. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our boy!

Crystal has been a true asset to our little guy. Simba is a 13 year old Jack Russel Chihuahua mix and needs a little extra attention when my wife and I are working long days. We are so happy with our experience and can't recommend Crystal enough!

Be very cautious when taking a small dog to this vet. They are way too rough. The bruises in the photo happened from the vet and vet tech squeezing my 4 pound chihuahua’s neck during her exam. When I brought this up to them, they apologized my dog was bruised when drawing blood. I’m not a doctor, but I’m certain blood is never drawn from the front of the neck. My mother also has a chihuahua and has expressed concern about the roughness from staff at this vet.

I have been using Old Farm Vet for a year since I moved to Frederick. I have always had a positive experience and recommend them at every opportunity. In that year a lot happened with my dogs, my male English Bulldog got pneumonia and unfortunately, passed away in March. The staff and doctors were amazing at trying to save him all while keeping him comfortable on his final days. My Cavalier King Charles goes in for regular vet appointments and grooming with Amy. He always looks great! Highly recommend their grooming services. Then I recently got an English Bulldog puppy. They helped her with all her puppy visits and vaccines and just performed her spay. Dropping off your puppy for any surgery is hard and they made me feel at ease because I trust their understanding of the brachycephalic breed and the specific requirements for any surgery. Thank you to Dr. Wilson, Dr. Hiltner, Amy, Amber, Elizabeth and the entire staff at Old Farm Vet!

Took my dog here about year ago because my dog had a bump on his neck that was leaking. Had them take a test sample to make sure it wasn’t cancer and they said it wasn’t. Took him to another vet after it kept leaking to get it removed to find out it was cancer! Be very cautious with this place as they mis diagnosed my dog and could mis diagnose your dog as well.

I have been taking my dogs here since I moved to Frederick about 9 months ago and the staff here go above and beyond for your furry love bugs! Dr. Wilson helped me make a sound decision for my pups knee issues without bias or judgment. I also board my pups here, and weather it's a day visit or over the weekend, they come out all smiles and tail wags! during extended stays they will even email me updates and pictures of how the pups are doing. Highly recommend!

We love Old Farm Veterinary Hospital and let me tell you why: 1) The entire office smells, looks and is very clean. 2) The office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and loving to all pets. 3) The doctors are all knowledgeable, caring, friendly and love their job of taking care of pets. Dr. Wilson did surgery on our puppy and he did an excellent job. Kudos to Dr. Wilson! 4) Their office is conveniently located with six day a week office hours. There is also plenty of parking and never a long wait on the inside. 5) They do boarding for their customers and take excellent care of all their "patrons." 6) This facility is always doing something in the Frederick community to help animals. 7) They are growing and added Dr. Darcey. She is wonderful. It's businesses like this that make Frederick a great place to live. BTW, this office does excellent grooming and awesome nail trims!

My husband and I moved to Frederick a couple years ago with our sweet pup Sherlock, who had been previously diagnosed with cancer. Although he regularly saw his oncologist in Gaithersburg, we wanted someone who could manage his other routine healthcare. After reading all the positive reviews, we decided to choose Old Farm Veterinary Hospital. And we were not disappointed! Everyone was always so friendly, and our Sherlock received the absolute best care. After we sadly had to say goodbye to Sherlock earlier this month, we emailed Old Farm Veterinary Hospital to let them know. We immediately received the sweetest reply, and a few days later also received a personal, hand-written card from Dr. Wilson expressing his sympathy for our loss. We were very appreciative of his kind words, and it helped our hearts during a tough time. We would not hesitate in the least to recommend Old Farm Veterinary Hospital.

The doctors are thorough and show compassion for my pets. It's not the cheapest, but that's not the most important factor in choosing a good vet.

Old Farm Veterinary Hopsital has amazing service and is pleasant to bring pets for checkups. The technicians and vet were incredibly nice and thorough with the visit. They also provide plenty of information on how to best care for your pet after a procedure or just for regular pet hygiene.
