The staff takes care of the dogs and show a true love for what they do. I recently went on vacation and was out of town for six days. I was a little nervous seeing this is the first time I was leaving my best friend with somebody else but I can say with confidence I’m truly happy with my decision, Rocket is a handful and a ball of energy but in the best way but I know he can be a lot at times, the staff was amazing with him and he was well cared for and very happy. I was sent multiple photos and updates daily while I was gone via text. So I know how he was was all day. Great attention to detail!! Sometimes I think he didn’t even miss us. 😝 All jokes aside I definitely recommend Peace, Love, & Happy pets !!

I truly can’t say enough good things!! We use PL & HP for boarding, daycare, and grooming. Our girl absolutely LOVES it here!!! We were nervous to try, but it turns out there was absolutely no reason to be. She’s thrilled every time I put her leash on because she now associates it with here! Her fave place with all her friends! They send frequent updates and pics so you never have to worry about how your little love is doing! I feel fully confident leaving her here and it makes my heart so happy to know she’s having such a great time, and that I can SEE it by the pics they send throughout the day. Please do yourself and your pets a favor and bring them here! Love love love!!!!

I sold my home and was moving to a new house. The deal for new house fell through. Vanessa and her team was able to give my two sheepdog children a wonderful place to stay, for over a month while I looked for a home. My Babies loved it at Peace, Love, and Happy Pets. By far the best and most amazing place you can take your dog to for doggie daycare and boarding! This is a cage free place. Absolutely genius! Peace, love, and happiness is exactly how your dog will feel being here. You receive frequent daily photos of your doggie and these dogs are totally having fun here! They get to relax, enjoy other doggies company, and the owners go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!!!! Thank you!

I use PL&HP for daycare, boarding, and grooming. The staff is wonderful! They send pictures of your dog throughout the day, so you can see how much fun they're having. The facility is set up like a home, so it's very warm, friendly, and welcoming. My nine month old puppy always has a great time and comes home tired. I'm so happy she can develop her social skills and play with other dogs/people during the day while my husband and I are at work. I can't recommend them enough. I have been to several different boarders and Peace, Love and Happy Pets are the best!!! They really love the dogs, take great care of them and my dog jumps out of the car every time to go! The place is super clean and well maintained and has a great option for outdoor and indoor play! They also offer grooming services which is very convenient and the prices are good!

I absolutely love this place and how they take care of my puppa. I was so nervous to put him in daycare because of previous bad experiences. He loves going there with his other dog friends. He gets plenty of playtime and they also do grooming and boarding. I’ve done it all and have been happy with every service. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with him.

This is an awesome place for daycare, boarding and now they have grooming so it’s great to have everything in one place. My dog loves going and runs to the door when we arrive. They treat my dog like their own so I don’t worry when I leave him there because I know he’s well taken care of. They send numerous pictures throughout the day showing him having fun with his friends. The atmosphere is colorful, homey and clean. I highly recommend.

We've taken our 11 month old standard goldendoodle to Peace, Love, Happy Pets a few times for doggie daycare, boarding, and grooming and have had a wonderful experience. Vaccination records are required and they do a tempermant test and slowly integrate your dog into the group. Vanessa sends pictures and updates throughout the stay so you know how your fur baby is doing. The first two are pics Vanessa sent me along with updates, and the third one is of my pup passed out at home after a fun stay and lots of play! He had a blast! The next morning he sat by the back door waiting to go back.

We chose Kozy Kennels for our girl while we were out of town for a weekend. They have a large area for the dogs to roam around in. The owner was very friendly, knowledgable, and organized. She invited me to call in and check on our dog before I even asked. They were very friendly when we needed our friend to come pick our dog up instead of ourselves. Would recommend!

I had a very unfortunate experience at Kozy kennels. The kennel forgot to remove prong collar off my dog during his 12 day stay and instead of apologizing and owning to a mistake they pushed a blame on me. There is more to the story such as they agreed to pay his vet bills and backed later, unprofessional and hostile behaviour, lying to cover themselves etc. Owners are in mid '80s and planning to close business in a year or two which tells me they do not intend to do business with good and honest practice anymore and therefore do not care for animals in their care. Tyger did not deserve such neglect and painful experience. Please do some research and get references before boarding your animals at any kennel.

His tail starts wagging when we pull up! He runs right to Amy or Mike so I know he's being treated well. It's nice not to have to worry so much about my baby when we're gone🙂 …

This is a really good place to board your dogs. Extremely reasonably priced. Dogs looked happy, all our questions were promptly answered. We called to add a departure bath for both our dogs and they came in early that day to make this happen! Thanks for taking care of our dogs!

I just used Kozy Kennel for my two dogs for the first time last weekend and I'm very happy with the facility and the care they were given. The place is family run and you can tell that the animals are treated well while they are there. I'll be using them again if I travel to Joliet.

Took 2 of my dogs here for their first time ever being boarded...everyone was very nice and I could tell they were all animal people right away. I explained to them I was extremey nervous boarding them and they were very reassuring and I could call and check on them whenever I wanted. I LOVE that they could be together in a double kennel. When I came to pick them up they were both super happy and in great spirits almost as though they were happy to see me, but had a nice time away. I will definitely be using Kozy Kennels again and would recommend them to others!

I definitely feel comfortable leaving my dog here. He has stayed twice already and I will continue to bring him here. The staff is always friendly and welcoming as well.

After losing our home to a fire, our dogs had to be boarded at Kozy Kennels for more than a year. It was a difficult time in most aspects however I never once had to worry about my dogs. I visited them many times during their stay to play with them. They greeted me just as happy as ever each and every time I saw them. By the time I brought them home my dogs were actually sad for a few days because they missed all of the one on one attention they had received daily. Thank you for loving our 4 legged family as much as we do!

Long review but well worth the read. Especially if you are a first time pet owner that is using any kind of boarding or sitting services. On Thursday 7/14 we were on our way to board our pup Mollie at petsmart. We have never boarded her before because we adopted her a little over a year ago at the age of 1. Every year, my family travels far north into MN near the Canadian boarder to visit family. We had already booked pets hotel at petsmart. We got to petsmart with vaccine paperwork and rabies and were turned away because we did not have her bordatella vaccine. We did not know she needed this (our fault 100%) because our vet always offered it as an optional vaccine and having never boarded our dog before, we just didn’t know. As I’m sitting in the parking lot of petsmart crying, because I now had no idea what to do since our trip was already booked and paid for, I downloaded the rover app. I messaged everyone with availability from 9:30am that Thursday til Sunday 7/17. Not one person responded to me, except Priscilla. She messaged me back within 5-10 minutes and asked me basic and in depth screening questions about our pup. Is she okay with kids. Does she have any medical or special needs. Etc. Us having never left our dog with anyone, were very on edge because your pet is part of your family. She accepted our appointment and said come on over within 10-15 mins. We arrived and she invited us in. Showed us where the dog would be, she also had gates everywhere which I loved! She took us into her backyard and we started to feel at ease. Still worried. We left mollie with Priscilla hoping we made a good decision. Boy, did we make a GREAT decision. Priscilla putting trust into us and us putting our trust with Priscilla was the best thing ever. She cared for Mollie like her own. She answered any time I messaged her but I honestly didn’t even need to! She sent us pictures everyday and updated us morning, noon and night. When we picked up mollie today, she was happy, healthy, clean and we couldn’t have been happier. I will never ever use anyone else for any boarding or pet sitting needs! Next year; I will see if she will also watch our cats! Priscilla is such a blessing and truly and angel. Without her being so responsive, prompt, professional, and an animal lover. I don’t know what we would have done. Thank you so much Priscilla!!!!!! You are truly the best and we can’t wait to bring mollie back for a vacation!!!!

K9 Couture is the ONLY place I trust to take care of our 3 dogs. The owners are fantastic and so flexible, even when I messed up our dates, they were able to accommodate us. I love that my 3 stooges can be together at night and have a huge, outdoor play area to run around in. We get pictures and videos while we’re gone which is huge peace of mind. They are local to the community and have a great, trustworthy reputation. Highly recommend!! ❤️🐶🐶🐶

Before we pull in the drive our pup starts wagging with excitement. He loves K-9 Couture! With other places his head was down and tail between legs, all the wrong body language. They took some time and got to know him and his needs, have loads of room to run and play, and they are very good about sorting the dogs by size/temperment. We've used them for various lengths of time - day trips, long weekends, and longer vacations. Have recommended them to family & friends.

We boarded our dog for a long weekend while we were out of town recently and felt so comfortable leaving her in the hands of K9 Couture! She had so much fun and played with other dogs, which we loved! The owner was responsive and replied to our texts with updates along with a picture of our pup! Anytime we go on vacation we feel comfortable leaving our dog, Spike with K9 Couture. Mike and Gabby take great care of him. It’s a wonderful, clean and fun place for our fur baby. They even send us pictures so that we can see him playing with his friends. We highly recommend it!!!

Lisa and her team are wonderful. They will care for your dog as if their own. We hired Cozy Pawz to host our little dog Ozzy for a 5 night vacation while we were out of town. Lisa took photos and sent a text update everyday. It was a relief knowing he was in great hands.

We’ve used Lisa for pet drop ins for the past couple years. She just recently got a new building so we boarded our dogs with her for 10 days and she did a great job keeping us updated and of course taking care of our doggies!! Prices are very reasonable compared to other places and they actually go outside and play and get to roam freely. Can’t recommend her enough!

Lisa is one of the best 2nd parent for your fur babies. You can see and feel her love and care for each pet that she takes in. I recommend Cozy-Pawz very much!

Lisa is the best! She did drop in visits for our cat. She gave us a synopsis of each visit along with photos. I've always been hesitant to go away for more than a day, because I didn't trust just anyone to look after Sophie, but Lisa made us feel at ease and delivered!

I can't tell you how incredibly happy we are with your service! Lisa does not just watch my boy, she loves Murphi like her own. Our boy had a great time. Felt the love for the dogs from Lisa. Bella wasn’t extremely skinny when we returned like when I left her in other places and she wasn’t eating because I wasn’t there. She was normal weight. I’m sure Bella felt almost at home with Lisa. Loved the daily updates and pictures, it made my 3 week trip to Europe a lot easier. Bella will return soon.

Cozy-Pawz is an excellent choice for both daycare and boarding. Having worked there, I saw first-hand the love, attention and care given to the dogs. And the dogs adore and love Lisa just as much. A welcoming home with a separate room designated to dogs wanting quiet time. A huge yard with 6ft privacy fencing keeps them all safe. There's no crating and the dogs can even sleep with her. Her rates are extremely reasonable and dogs of all ages, size and breeds get along.

We had a meet and greet! It was great, can’t wait to use their services when we go on our next vacation.

Lisa did an outstanding job taking care of my two pups for 10 days! She sent a ton of pictures and updates which gave us peace in mind and I knew my pups had a great time as well. Very unprofessional and rude. Seemed like Lisa the owner had planned to do this the whole time. Left my dog there to spend 5 days, bad vibes since the night before dropping off and should have listened to them. Night before drop off, received email in regards “if something happens will have to call emergency contact”. Then when my husband dropped off our dog, she made a comment “hope it goes good”. Then the next morning at 6am (when our plane just took off) we received a rude text stating we needed to pick our dog up in an hour or animal control was going to be called. 1st off our dog HAS never ever been aggressive towards people or other dogs, and is around other dogs alll the time. He was even attacked once before and didn’t do anything back to that dog. He doesn’t even bark. Then to receive my dog back with marks that were never mentioned during all this. Her responses were very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I would not recommend leaving your dogs here.

Our dog has been enjoying his time at daycare for over 1.5 years. The mornings that my dog attends are filled with happy anticipation upon arrival. We have never had any issues medically or socially among all the dogs. It’s because Jim and Karie are experts. We also were trained by Jim to train our dog when he was a puppy. Both the training and daycare provide great value in a very clean setting. We are grateful to them both.

We have been taking our dog, Buddy to doggy daycare at Wags to Riches for 4 years. Buddy loves it! Jim and Kari are great with the dogs. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. We are always able to reach them during the day, if necessary and their prices are very reasonable. The location is super convenient for taking the train or jumping on 355. We are very happy with their service and highly recommend them. Friends of ours have taken their dog here for training and were very happy with Jim.

We have been taking our dog Gibbs there for almost a year. Jim and Kari are great! Always friendly and accommodating. We know our dog loves it because he is always tired when he gets home. The dogs are in good hands. A great business to support.

My husband and I have been taking our golden , Smokey, for over a year now. Smokey absolutely loves going to day care and I wouldn’t want him to go anywhere else. Jim & Kari are amazing and I couldn’t ask for a better place to take our pup!!!

We took our 4 month old Golden Retriever pups (2) to Jim for private training. I cannot stress how important his class was to starting the proper manners early. Great insight and techniques that are working. I’ve had a few dogs and did other trainers and really like Wags to Riches positive reinforcement approach. Jim and Kari were both really helpful and would recommend.

We have an very highly energetic puppy and Wags to Riches Dog Daycare has been the most AMAZING help! When our dog is there for Daycare we know he is well taken care, having a great time and all we have to do is say "daycare" and he RUNS to the door with excitement now! We also took advantage of some private training with Jim and within a matter of weeks we saw a HUGE difference in his behavior! Well worth the money and highly recommended!

We have been taking our dog to Wags for training and daycare for almost 2 years. The training was super helpful, especially with our stubborn rascal. The daycare is great, our dog loves it and can't get out of the car fast enough when we pull in to the parking lot!

I can’t recommend Jim and Kari highly enough. We were having some very serious difficulty with our puppy, Luna, and our two other Boxers. Through their careful, patient and thorough guidance, we were able to overcome the issues. We had a mix of private and group classes and a home visit. Luna just graduated from group classes and so she is officially the Best Behaved of All Our Boxers!

Jim and Kerri are absolutely amazing and incredibly knowledgeable! They have done so much for my dog and have taught him everything he knows! I have gone through private training and group training. My dog also goes to day care three days a week. He gets so excited to go to day care. Whenever I say, "want to go see Jim amd Kerri" my dog runs to the door. I am forever grateful for Wags to Riches.

If you are looking for personable, professional, attentive, and hassle free care for your dog look no further. Tim Baldwin of Baldwin Pet Care has been providing exemplary care for my Shiba Inu named “Akira” since October 2023. Tim visits and walks Akira throughout the work week for me and has provided overnight care for my doggie on a couple of occasions when I traveled for work and out of state for my nephew’s wedding. No matter the service, it is always first rate and Akira is anxiety free when I get home. She really loves Tim and that’s saying something! I really appreciate Tim’s caring approach and willingness to spend time with her and play with her during the visits. He also takes and sends me great photos of his visits with Akira. I have found Tim to be very trustworthy and reliable which are important traits given the overnight and daily service he provides. He is also generous with his time and an effective communicator. Having someone like Tim to care for my dog has really helped to assuage my concerns and anxiety about leaving her alone!

If I could give 6 stars for this review -- I definitely would! Tim does all the things you could ever ask of a pet service without hesitation. He is professional, an outstanding communicator, and ALWAYS on time. He is incredibly good with our 2 pups (they LOVE Tim) and you can tell he treats our dogs just as well as he would treat his own. He's very flexible with our schedule, offers to help train our pups, and even offers overnight stays if we're out of town. Working with Tim gives us peace-of-mind that our dogs are in GREAT hands and very well taken care of. Our family could not recommend any service more than Baldwin Pet Care!

I have 2 mini-goldendoodles and they live for Tim’s visits!They know that when Tim comes to visit they will get well taken care of with a walk and most likely some tasty treats! We have entrusted Tim with our dogs on weekly dogs visits and even overnight stays. We are very happy with the service from Baldwin Pet Care. It is a huge relief to know that our dogs are well cared for while we work or when we are out. One of our dogs is very timid and Tim persevered and totally won her over. In addition, Tim gave us several training tips that were very helpful. My pet sitter Kim was great. She kept in touch with me every day. I did have trouble with the office though. Whenever I tried to call we had terrible reception and no one called me back. I also couldn’t get a confirmation email.

I have been using Fetch once a week for the past month. There was an initial consultation where the dog sitter meets your pet and all the detail are discussed. After each visit, a note is left by the sitter explaining how the visit went. When I come home, my dog seems very happy! They do a great job and everything is so easy with Fetch! I'm so glad I found them!

Jennifer is a professional and will take the very best care of your pets. Returning home to happy and relaxed cats is the best feeling ever. The care is personalized and that is what puts Fetch! above other care providers. Fantastic service.

Fetch is extremely professional and do a great job pairing clients with sitters. It's wonderful that you get to meet with your sitter prior to needing them. You can feel comfortable going on your trip because Fetch sitters care for your pets as if they were their own. They also keep you updated while you're away .

I couldn’t be happier with the care Fetch has provided to my cats. And scheduling an appointment couldn’t be easier. I request service and they get back to me quickly. My pet caregiver follows my instruction exactly and she leaves everything in perfect order. I am provided with detail notes about her time with them. I can go away for a period of time knowing my cats are well cared for. I highly recommend their service.

My experience with Fetch (which goes back 10 years) with my Sheltie ( God rest his soul over the rainbow!) and since with my adoptive shitsou/maltese of 2 years and now almost six (!) names Lucky -didnt change his name and we re still going strong with his energy and antics- we are "lucky" we "found " each other! I have 4 walkers for daily walks as I can't walk as vigorously as he needs to go- he loves them and they all love him- as I do! All of t he walkers are very polite, fun,and patient with him at all times - can't say enough good things for them ! and the resident are always glad to see them! I appreciate how well Fetch cares for my furbaby. Above and beyond feeding and scooping the litterbox, I got to see how they take their time trying to convince my cat to play (and sometimes come out from hiding). Kim even changed the battery in the smoke detector to stop it from beeping and stressing out my traumatized cat. I really appreciate it! I love the daily journal with updates on my cat's activities and the daily photo. It's reassuring seeing them and knowing that she is in great care. Also, I like the website format. It is easy to navigate, schedule/cancel services, and update mine and my cat's info including where supplies have been relocated or new vet info. I am quite impressed with Fetch and highly recommend them!

I have an old dog and I have never boarded her. I used to be able to have my kids or their friends watch her when we were out of town. Lately I have had to use Fetch. I am so relieved to have found this company. As far as I can tell they take great care of my dog. They visit three times a day to feed, walk and play with her. She seems content when we get home.

This is a wonderful service for those whose dogs are alone for perhaps more than 8 hours. I feel bad leaving him for more than that and a Fetch dog walker comes to the house, walks him, gives him water, etc., and even gives you a brief write-up on what they did. As a person who is, well, rather psychotic about my dog, it gives me comfort to read that he’s okay. They even give you the walking route so you know how long/where they walked. Great service.

Jen and her team at Quality Critter Care are amazing! We primarily use their services when we travel out of town and the team is great with handling three dogs with very different personalities and needs.

QCC is the best. They are the kindest, most thoughtful crew and take incredible care of our dogs. We trust them completely are so thankful to have found such great pet sitters!

I used QCC for 5 days when I went on vacation. I highly recommend this service . They took the time to come and meet my dogs a few days before so my pets were not afraid of them. They kept in contact the whole time to assure us everything was ok. I can not speak highly enough. Top quality, very professional, and all around good people!
