We have been using Laura's pet sitting services for a few years now and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Laura has always been able to accommodate requirements for our cat, rabbit and guinea pigs and nothing is ever too much trouble. We can go away for the weekend or longer knowing our animals will be in safe hands and not having to put them through the stress of going to a cattery.

Laura was extremely attentive first in knowing about us, the needs of our cats and the cats quirky aspects. Both our cats can be cautious with strangers but bonded quickly to her. The regular updates and pics we got through emails left you feeling happy in the knowledge they were in safe hands, well cared for and all in their own environment. We came home to two extremely happy and playful cats. Would highly recommend the services offered and will definitely be using again.

Laura has been great at looking after our cat whenever we are away. She’s trustworthy, reliable and has lots of experience with animals. When our cat has had medical needs she has attended to these with compassion and competence. I have no hesitation in recommending her services.

If you want a professional, efficient and caring cat sitter, then look no further than Laura at Safe and Snug. From the initial meet and greet to the mid week update when you are away and then the final report you couldn’t get a better service. We booked Laura for 8 days and we knew during that time our cat Rocky would want to go out and disappear for a few days (which we made her aware of) and he did just that. Laura made the point of returning to see if he was there and asked to be kept informed of when he returned which we did when he finally ambled through the door. Laura clearly cares about what she does and likes to know the individual needs of the cat she’s looking after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laura and would definitely use her again. Laura looked after our cats twice a day for three weeks while we were on honeymoon. We had regular updates and came back to some very happy cats. It was really reassuring knowing Laura was looking after them as we were away for so long. The cats liked her, she was really reliable and we would definitely book her again. Thank you!

We have used Laura countless times now to look after our 2 cats (both getting on in years so don't want to put them in a cattery), we cannot fault Laura's care & go away safe in the knowledge they are being well looked after. She maintains regular contact when we're away including photos & keeps an accurate detailed diary of each day recording how the cats were, how much they ate etc. Add to that the little extras such as collecting up the post & turning lights on & off on request so the house doesn't appear empty while away - I can't recommend highly enough.

Never had a problem with Laura. She takes care of my cats when I go away and I trust her totally. Have used Laura (safe and snug) for a good 5 years +. I know my cats trust her. She gives updates and post pics of my cats on Facebook which is a nice touch when away.

We’ve been using Laura for the last 3 years - wish we’d have thought about this sooner as we’d been using catteries for 12 years previous. Although the cattery did everything it was supposed to do, our cats hated it...We now go on holiday knowing that the cats are well looked after and are happy. Laura provides regular updates. Me and my partner love Laura’s company. She truely cares about the animals she looks after and nothing is ever too much bother. She will happily send you updates and photos of your pet while you are away. I feel safe in knowing my babies are well looked after when I am not around. We have been using Laura's pet sitting service for our 2 cats for over 3 years now and can't fault her service . We have never put our boys into a cattery as we prefer them to be in their own home . Laura keeps us updated with photo's / emails and always leaves us a day to day diary of their routine . Anything your pets need is not too much trouble from feeding , medication , grooming and general fussing . We have also in the last couple of months had evening visits from hedgehogs who we have been feeding and during our last holiday Laura has been looking after the extra guests as well . We have every faith in our boys / house being well looked after whenever is needed . Look no further if you want your pets looked after and happy while you are away .

We were a bit nervous leaving our puppy for the first time. Justine quickly put our minds at rest. Lush Pets are professional and caring and fitted us in at short notice. Millie (our little lab) made a new friend and we would highly recommend Lush Pets.

Needed an honest, reliable dog walker and found the lovely Justyna. Great communication, kept me informed with messages and photos. My dog Willow loves spending time with her having obviously lots of fun. I would not hesitate to recommend Justyna.

Due to work unexpected work commitments we needed a walker for out puppy Maisie on short notice and Justine was fantastic. She came and visited the day before to meet the dog and run through the details. She sent photos updating us and it seems like Maisie had a fantastic time. Will definitely use her services again when we require a walker.

Justine (Lush Pets) has a sensible head, and a caring heart. And she really loves animals. She knows her stuff too, and is professional, reliable, and a pleasure to deal with. Her van is well equipped, as well as full of fun things for dogs. I do not hesitate in recommending her.

Justine is brilliant with my dog who can be difficult. I could not ask for a more professional and caring service. Justine has been walking my dog for a few years and I have never had concerns.

I was abroad for a week and needed some daytime company for my dog, as no one else would be around until the evening. Justine came and spent time with her every day and took her on some walks with other dogs. I felt so calm and confident that my dog was being taken care of while I was away. I'm now booking my dog in for regular walks even when I am around, so that she can continue to socialise with other dogs. I completely recommend Lush Pets to anyone!

Justine is amazing. The sort of person you don’t want to tell people about because you don’t want to share! She’s reliable, careful, caring and fun. I never worried about my elderly cats while away and she is my dogs favourite person in the world.

I have a grumpy rescue dog, who can be difficult. Her previous dog walker refused to walk her any more. Then I found Lush Pets. My dog has been with this dog walker 2 years or so. I have nothing but praise for her; she really takes time to understand the dogs in her care. My dog is completely happy going for her walks. No complaints, no concerns, just gratitude. Would highly recommend.

Cannot recommend Laur's Paws more highly. The team truly love dogs and ensure that they have the best time when visiting. Scout loves Laura and the team and is always so excited to arrive in the morning. The team organise stimulating activities (like bubbles, water pools etc) and take the utmost care looking after the dogs. I wouldn't send my dog anywhere else.

Excellent service

Kerri is such a lovely young lady. She cares for my dog like he is her own and he has a great time on his walks with her and the other dogs she walks. She is very reliable and trustworthy. The photos I receive after each walk are a bonus too.

Our dogs love going on walks with Kerri. We get photos of our dogs with there new friends every day and also very reliable.

Early days but Kerri replied quickly and kept me informed. She seems lovely and we have had initial chat about our needs.

Walking our dog for nearly 7 years. She's loves going out with Happy Paws and ilhas an amazing bond with Hannah. Flexible, flexing up and down to our needs - as shift workers this is a massive win. Obviously these need a little planning in advance Is a cog in our life that we can't live without.

I’ve used Happy Paws for about 1 year, they were brilliant when Sully was a puppy, doing visits at suitable times. Unfortunately, now Sully is older and requires walks, they haven’t been as flexible. I am confident Happy Paws would be perfect for dog owners who work Monday-Friday, however as a shift worker their timings (and timekeeping!) isn’t the best.

If there were more than 5 stars to add, Suzi would get them all. Our 2yr old Cavapoo has been going to Suzi since he was 4 months old both for daycare as well as boarding. He absolutely loves her and has grown into a well balanced happy dog with her high level of knowledge with individual dog behaviour or fears. Teddy has developed confidence as well as respect for other dogs during his stays. Suzi ensures her dogs are safe, active and supervised. Teddy benefits not only from supervised care but games, training and walks too. I cannot praise her enough. When we go away and unable to take Teddy, we are completely reassured and at ease knowing Teddy is enjoying his holiday too.

I cannot speak highly enough of Just-Like-Home! My 7 month-old Cavapoo stayed for two weeks this summer and it is safe to say that he enjoyed his holiday just as much as I did mine! He spent two weeks making friends of all sizes, digging in the digging pit, swimming in the pool, going on long nature walks and taking lots of naps in between! As it was our first time apart, I especially appreciated all of the sweet photos and videos I was sent of him doing all of the above. Just-Like-Home is truly a 5-star resort for dogs! We have our next holiday dates booked in already--thank you so much, Suzi!

Sidney has been to stay with Suzi a few times now, he jumps out of car and runs to gate as he can’t wait to go there. Suzi is very friendly, approachable, caring and accommodating and I highly recommend her. Sidney always is well looked after and I’m updated on his time there

I can highly recommend Suzi and Just-Like-Home dog boarding. Our 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, stayed for the first time last week and if they could talk, I am sure they would tell me they had a brilliant time. We met with Suzi for first introductions ahead of our stay and saw her wonderful set up, including a sensory garden and play area for the dogs. Toby and Chloe even went for a taster day before their stay, at no extra charge. While we were away Suzi sent us messages and photos to let us know how happy and settled they were. They are now looking forward to their next visit in the summer, while we are totally reassured that they are being very well cared for 😊🐶

Absolutely brilliant daycare and boarding the best in the area. My cockerpoo has been to a few but have never settled overnight with anyone. Suzi is brilliant and is like a dog whisperer she is fantastic with our cockerpoo and has helped us with some of her anxiety issues. She has stayed with Suzi when we go away and the first time we couldn't believe the dog we came back to she was brilliant. Couldn't recommend Suzi doggy daycare and boarding enough. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

I am so glad I found “Just-Like-Home” as Suzi offers a truly amazing atmosphere for dogs. When I first brought Poppy to meet Suzi, my first impression was a place of calm but also a fun and stimulating environment for dogs. It's so comforting to know that when I'm on holiday, I know that Poppy is being very well looked after. Poppy recently had a 2 night stay and during all this very hot weather, Suzi purchased an air con unit to keep all the dogs cool!! Another lovely touch is that Suzi also sends photos and video clips which is great. Looking forward to Poppy’s 10 night stay in August. I can highly recommend “Just-Like-Home”, you won't be disappointed! 😀

An amazing place that really looks after your fur baby! My dog has loved his walks, communication is always excellent and the service is second to none

Suzi looked after our 2 dogs for 12 nights when we went on holiday. She was fantastic! We received daily updates on them both as well as videos of them playing in her garden, which was much appreciated. The dogs really did make themselves at home, and I felt reassured leaving them with her. We will definitely use Just Like Home again when we next go away. :)

Our 14year old fur baby stayed with Suzi recently for 2 weeks, she had never stayed with anyone but family before and we were concerned about how she would be. Suzi and her team were absolutely amazing, Sasha had a fabulous time and we were sent regular pictures and videos of the fun she was having. We cannot recommend Just Like Home enough, your fur baby will have a great time with Suzi.

We have used Lone Valley a few times before. Booking is straightforward and confirmation comes through promptly. Staff always welcoming and friendly. Their prices seem reasonable. Our dog is always well looked after and we are happy with the care he receives here.

My two dogs go here every year Xena and Cleo love staying here I can’t recommend this kennels enough they are attentive to every individual dogs needs

The care taken by Karen, Jim and Chelsea is second to none. Our rescue dogs get first class attention and are very well cared for. Nothing is too much trouble and Labrador Lifeline Trust would recommend to any dog owner needing a kennel.

Read a few reviews about this place but didn’t underestimate the state of the road” if you can call it that, more like a churned up track” we took campervan down there and it struggled if you have a car you’d probably have no exhaust left on it or worse. Dogs didn’t seem to distressed when collecting them but the smell was awful we had to bath then straight away as both were scratching on the pavement. I’m afraid I won’t be using these again.

A lovely family run kennels! Casper comes to stay at Lone Valley Kennels every time we go away and we would not go anywhere else. He comes back so cheerful which shows how well he has been cared for. Karen and Chelsea are really friendly and helpful. When I drive Casper down the track he now starts whimpering with excitement. I thoroughly recommend Lone Valley if need dog boarding kennels!

My little family of 3 dogs had a lovely time and have slept all afternoon. Summer holidays booked already. Sadly the entrance road is in very poor condition, and could do with repairs. Didn't affect the care of my dogs xxxxx

I can't speak highly enough of Lone Valley. My boy Warrior has been going on his holidays here whenever we need him to for the past 8/9 years. He is a sensitive soul with specific needs and Karen & Jim have adapted to every change and catered for all of his medical and emotional needs. The kennels are clean and all dogs are well cared for. My boy is always so happy to see them both when I take him there and although super excited to see me when I pick him up he's still wanting to say hi & bye to them too which says it all to me. I would give more stars but unfortunately I can't.

Thank you so much to Jacques and Reg for the amazing care to my three babies every time I’ve travelled. Jacques was also very kind, going the absolutely extra mile when my baby Bruno passed away. Bringing him to me to say a final goodbye and then answering all my queries and worries. Bruno came back to me in the most beautiful box and you could see he was well looked after in his passing as much as he was in his life. I’m very lucky to have found a pet sitter that really cares! Jacques from Animals at Home Southampton is absolutely brilliant and took excellent care of my rabbits while I was away. I came to her literally two days before I was going away as someone else had let me down last minute and even though it was such short notice, she found the time to visit them for me twice a day while I was away. She saved me from having to cancel my trip and the rabbits were looked after exactly as I had asked. I was kept regularly updated so I knew what the rabbits were up to while I was away too. I highly recommend Animals at Home Southampton to anyone who is looking for someone to take care of their beloved companion animals while they're away.

The Animals at Home team did a absolutely great job in caring for my cat (Luna) while I was away. Constant updates, videos and photos which honestly improved my holiday away, as I was worried about the leaving her. Luna is an indoor cat and has never been in a cattery, I'm so glad I decided to go with Animals at Home instead, as I think a cattery would of just really stressed her out in comparison. I highly recommend Animals at Home and will be using them again!

Jacques has been providing exceptional care for my animals since I moved to Southampton, and when the heartbreaking moment came to say goodbye to my beloved hamster, Sushi, I knew I could turn to her for support. Both Katie and Jacques showed incredible kindness, compassion, and professionalism in helping me arrange Sushi's cremation. Sushi was treated with the utmost respect, and everything—from the collection to her return home—was handled with such care and love. During this overwhelmingly sad time, knowing that Sushi was in safe, gentle hands brought me immense comfort. I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for little Sushi—it means the world to me.

Amazing service. We had to have our beautiful German Shepherd put to sleep recently and Jacques and Miles were so kind when they came to collect him for cremation, it made it just a little more bearable knowing he was in safe hands. Everything was arranged easily and we were kept updated until Jacques brought his ashes back home to us. Would highly recommend :)

Jacques and Miles were so so kind after the loss of our beautiful boy Mr Meow. They went out of their way to come and collect him on a Sunday night and he was home with us by Friday in a beautiful box with his paw prints. We have been really happy with how Stacey has looked after Isla. She is clearly a very experienced dog walker and always has your dog’s best interests at heart.

Stacey came to our rescue as a last minute dog sitter and we were very pleased with the service she provided. She looked after our house and our dog as if they were her own, our dog had lots of lovely walks and we received regular updates. Our dog enjoyed playing with Stacey’s dog, Billy, and enjoyed his company around the house. Would definitely recommend!

A top professional service, the best I have come across and now my go-to. Stacey helped me with a vets trip for a very nervous rescue dog - who was so calm with Stacey and his behavioural problems almost vanished. I rang Stacey very last minute, out of other options as I don’t drive - Stacey not only made time at the last minute after a busy day - But came with everything prepared and was the picture of calm and professionalism, and talked me through everything ahead of time on the phone. Anyone who is used to professional services will not be disappointed and will have the best experience with on the ball walkies. From someone with a troubled rescue dog, I cannot tell you the piece of mind that comes with entrusting your dog with someone that is so organised, clear, compassionate and patient. Won’t go anywhere else at all now.

Honestly cannot recommend On the ball dog walkies enough. If you want someone who knows dogs, loves dogs and understands dogs, who provides an absolutely outstanding service and goes that extra mile to make sure your dog is 100% happy, safe and incredibly loved and happy, then On the Ball Walkies is the lady to use. We have a complicated anxious dog who she has bonded with, helped calm and we had complete and utter confidence in her from the first meeting, she understood what we wanted and what the dog needed and has created one very happy boy when he is with her. Absolutely outstanding service!
