Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for!  She was communicative and easy going.  She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi.  She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday.  While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation".  I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos.  They definitely bonded. :)  I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.

Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!

Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail.

First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own.

Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see.

Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back.

I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site!

I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days.  We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was.  We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out.  All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely.  Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for.  The koi were also active and happy.  

Janis is a “cat whisperer”.  She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background).  Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. 

Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children.  They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. 

Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish.  We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again.  If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
