I cannot say enough good things about this company, their owner, their walkers and their dedication and love of animals. The owner Laurie, is a pleasure to work with, super flexible and dependable always. They have built a touching relationship with my dog who gets so excited to see them. They do adorable write ups about each visit and show me photos while she’s out for a walk and she’s clearly very happy.

Laurie has been so great taking care of our two dogs while we are away! The pups love her and we always feel good about leaving them in her very capable hands! We'll continue to use her services and would recommend her to anyone!

We are so happy we found Blissful Wags! Laurie, the owner, has been a lifesaver from day one! When our pup was younger we used her drop-in services, which gave us great piece of mind. As soon as he was old enough, we brought our dog to day camp and I’m not sure who loves it more, us or him! Laurie has a beautiful fenced in yard where all the dogs are free to run around and play. Beau loves to spend the day playing with his friends. Laurie updates us regularly throughout the day with pictures and videos. She is so reliable, great with the dogs, and really truly loves them as her own. We are so thankful we found Blissful Wags and would give 10 stars if we could!

Can't say enough good things about Blissful Wags! I've heard so many horror stories about dogs being kenneled and unattended to so I was extremely nervous when looking for a dog sitter for my new puppy. We first did a "meet and greet" With Laurie and our boy to see if it was a good fit. We were happy with the layout and vibe so we decided to proceed. In the beginning we were only there sporadically to ease our pup into the transition, but now it's like his second home! Our baby went from a nervous little pup who kept to himself to a confident, playful dog! Laurie is so good with the dogs and truly cares about each as if they are her own. Also, she frequently sends pictures which is so important to an anxious person like myself! My mind is completely at ease while I'm at work and our boy is at play. 10/10 recommend!

We found Blissful Wags after we adopted our 7 month old rescue this past January. She had energy to burn and loves to play and this was the perfect fit! Laurie the owner has been such a gift. Not only is she fantastic with the dogs she's a terrific human as well. Our now one year old pup goes on a regular basis including some overnights. Laurie is very careful to screen all new dogs and there are no kennels. It's a huge fenced in yard with ramps, slides, ropes and a pool. Inside is completely dog proofed and clearly catered to the dogs needs with beds and chews. I know that when I leave our girl she is in good hands!

Blissful Wags is the best! My Brittany, Piper loves when Laurie is taking care of her. Laurie walks and plays with your dog and updates you with pictures. . I cannot say enough good things about Blissful Wags!

Laurie is The Dog Whisperer! My recently adopted rescue dog had many social issues with people and other dogs. Not with Blissful Wags. He adores Laurie and definitely misses being there. What a comfort that was. Couldn’t recommend more!

I am so happy I found Blissful Wags! The owner, Laurie is fantastic! She is trustworthy and truly loves and cares for my dog. Her home has a huge fenced in yard and the dogs are free to roam anywhere in the house. Lexi loves staying over and always has a blast! I highly recommend them! Our corgis absolutely love it at Blissful Wags. Laurie is so incredible with dogs and makes them feel right at home while sending us lots of photos and updates. I can see how much she loves the pups that she watches whether it's overnight boarding or daycare. I never worry about leaving our dogs with her as I know they are extremely well cared for!

Disappointed: Unfortunately Morgan did not return my 2 phone calls over a 14 day period. From all the positive reviews, I was excited to find Alpha Pet Care and wanted to inquire about their services and if they would take on new clientele. Fully understanding we are all busy and it's tough to multi task, I would have appreciated a call back. It's all about communication and good customer service but Alpha Pet Care fell short on meeting these expectations.

Morgan is great! I have used her walking and boarding services for the past few years. She's very knowledgeable and trustworthy. My dog and I have been very pleased with the care she gives. Highly recommended

Morgan has been involved with pet care and services for years. She is incredibly reliable and takes care of animals like they were her own. Whether it be a daily walk or a petsitter for a getaway, she is the best choice!

I have seen a huge difference in our dogs since they started having daily walks with Morgan. They are happier and more relaxed when we get home from work. We also enjoy our vacations more now that we have someone who cares for our dogs as much as we do!!

We have been taking our Mia girl here for a year now. Gloria, Dom and their son have made us feel so comfortable when leaving our pup Mia. I opted to have Mia stay here instead of a traditional kennel or vet boarding because let’s face it, you spend a ridiculous amount of money at places like this and your pup is spending most of their time in a cage. Your dog doesn’t spend any time in a cage at Glor and Doms. They have an outdoor activity area designated just for your dogs. Which allows all the pups to play with each other and form a pack! They’re affordable and our Mia girl comes back to us pooped from all the fun she has. Highly recommend!

Gloria and Dom treat the dogs like family! We have been using them for 2 years now and have been happy. When we go away and leave Champ with them we know he is well taken care of and has the time of his life with his friends. They truly love them like their own

We normally have family watch our dogs but figured for a longer vacation we would try pet sitters. Sammy's Pet Care is beyond pet sitting, they loved our dogs like their own and it showed! Upon our first meeting to go over everything, me and my husband immediately felt comfortable as if they were family. They were friendly, warm and very understanding when our trip was extended an extra day. They were quick to respond and very communicative with us during our trip to Florida, especially during the earthquake and crazy weather we had while we were gone. The daily updates and pictures were the toppers to our trip as you could just see how relaxed and happy our dogs were. So this was our 1st time having someone come to our home to watch our 2 dogs. We usually board them, but our 1 dog has addison's disease and thought it would be best to leave her in her own environment while we went on vacation. I found Sammy's petcare. I reached out to Sammy and set up a date & time for her and her husband Mark to come over so we can meet and they can meet our 2 dogs. We felt very comfortable with them as did our dogs. They slept over our house, took very good care of our girls, gave us updates, and sent us pictures. If you're on the fence about hiring them to take care of your pet, just do it! Sammy’s pet care is amazing I had to go away suddenly and had no one to watch my pup. I called a bunch of pet sitters and no one was available on such short notice but Sammy made it happen for me. She was even able to give him his daily meds which is a nightmare and she did it with such ease. I will be using this business again for sure!

AMAZING place for boarding. My Siberian husky has been boarded here now for over 2 years here and there. I got recommended here from someone at the vet. When my vet stopped doing boarding I had no idea where to bring my husky! Judy and the girls here are excellent. This is the only place I will ever trust to board my dog. It's 40 minutes away from me but worth every minute. Reasonable and trustworthy. My dog loves it here its a mini vacation for him! he gets so happy when we pull in.

We've owned dogs our whole life, we have 3 we leave with her all the time, hands down best kennel we have ever been too! Judy genuinely cares about your dog. Never worry about leaving them with her. We would never use any other place. Place always clean and we'll maintained!

We have have been going to Stonehill for over 20 years and would not trust our labs Goldie and Lakota with just anyone. Judy has always cared for our dogs with the utmost attention to their needs. Especially in their golden years. It has always been reassuring to know that our dogs were in loving hands while boarding there.

I trust the staff of Stonehill Estates Kennel. My dogs are happy to arrive at the kennel. Judy and her staff are attentive and knowledgible. I have peace of mind when my dogs are in their care. I have been extremely happy with the grooming, too. Donna does an excellent job. She has given them breed appropriate cuts and shaved them (when asked). No surprises. Very easy to work with. I highly recommend their boarding and grooming services.

We love our dogs and do not trust them with many people. But Judy is a truly a dog lover and you can see she genuinely cares. Wouldn't leave our dog's anywhere else!

I am so lucky to have found Samantha to walk my 2 dogs. I have one large dog that is not that well-behaved during walks and is extremely strong. She is a complete professional and they loved her immediately. It was easy to schedule and I trusted Samantha and her husband, who assisted a few times, the minute I met them. I highly recommend them, especially if you have a larger, strong dog.

Sam and Pete did the best job taking care of our Butters on a Saturday night! He had such a great time playing with the other puppies! We will definitely bring our puppy back in the future!!

Samantha and Pete did drop ins for Nessa, Diesel (AKA Sniffles) and Stella from Aug. 1-Aug. 5, 2024. They were amazing they not only cared for our animals as if they were their own but took care of the house as well. We finally had a vacation that we felt safe with the care our animals were receiving. Stella is our recent rescue and she is very nervous but opened up to Samantha and Pete. They came and did 2 home visits to meet the animals before we left for no extra charge. They are also extremely reasonably priced for the care they provide. I will be recommending them to everyone I know that needs a pet sitter or boarding and will definitely personally use them again! ❤️🐾

Highly recommend! Samantha and Peter stayed at our house to watch our 10 month old puppy for 5 days. They provided updates and photos each day which we loved seeing! We can’t wait to use them again!

First time having in home pet sitting and it was a fantastic experience. Pete and Samantha were both great and the pups took to them right away. Pete did the overnight and we really appreciated the updates and pictures throughout his stay. Great to see the pups having such a good time while we were gone. Sam and Pete were amazing! They were very accommodating, flexible, and left us feeling at ease about leaving our pup with them. They sent constant updates and pictures. You can tell they truly love and care for each dog they watch. Our dog came back even a little more even tempered! So happy we finally found a good dog sitter. Will definitely be using them again!!

I am one of the most anxious dog moms, so when it came time for us to leave for a wedding over the weekend where all our friends and loved ones would be, I was panicking knowing we did not have someone who could look after our doggo. After a brief search for someone local, I came across Wags and Woof and contacted Samantha and Pete to see if they could do drop ins while we were away. To start, they were super responsive and listened to all of our needs. We arranged a meet and greet where they were both present and asked amazing questions to make sure they knew everything about our dog. This immediately calmed my nerves knowing they were asking the right questions and made sure our dog was able to open up to them. Leading up to the weekend we were away, Samantha did an amazing job with communication making sure she knew all the important details like timeline, how to get in, where to take Ziggy for walks, etc. which once again, made me feel so much more confident in our decision. For the weekend itself, I cannot say enough to appreciate our gratitude. Samantha communicated every detail to us, sent us pictures, was flexible with walking our dog an extra time, was prompt on the times we asked to stop by for the drop ins, and left our house immaculate. When we got home, we could tell our dog was happy and was not stressed while we were away which is the best possible feeling. Again, I cannot thank Samantha and Pete enough and we are so gracious we found two lovely local folks who truly care about dogs like we do and can trust to take care of our doggo. I’ve been taking my dog here for the last 5 years. Place is GREAT! The owner really truly cares about dogs and treats every dog that comes through her doors like they are her own. I take my dog for grooming and I have boarded my dog there as well every year when we go on vacation. He loves going there. Definitely recommend!!!

I used this kennel for 2 weeks in late June into early July. I will never let my dog stay there again. It took approximately 2 weeks for my dog to return to his pre kennel self. Upon pick up they lost my dogs leash, collar and 70 dollar Soresto collar. The lady claimed they give them to the owners after they are dropped off. That was not the case. Stay away from this place. The good reviews have to be fake! I know the owners will comment on my review and deny it. No reason to leave a bad review unless it really happened.

We LOVE this kennel! I’ve boarded my dog here so many times with barely any notice, and they’re always so happy to accommodate. In the past, my dog will try to run in the opposite direction when he knows where he’s going but here, he starts crying with excitement the second we pull into the driveway! We boarded him last weekend, and he still smells AMAZING from his bath there as well. Not only do they care for my dog as I would, but their prices are also unmatchable. I’d recommend them to everyone I know!!

This kennel is absolutely amazing. After being thoroughly disappointed with another kennel I used for an overnight stay, I was apprehensive to leave my big Great Dane babies anywhere at all. Susan, the owner, spent a good ten minutes in the phone with me discussing her approach to care when I simply called to check availability. Here’s just a few reasons I will never use another kennel again (assuming my pups are welcome back!) 1) The level of expertise. Susan knows dogs. The kennel is prepared for all breeds, which is not always the case with giants. She takes care to ensure the dogs are not integrated with other dogs at the kennel (which is nothing but a recipe for disaster). I was not worried that other pups with a Napoleon complex would attack my big guys nor was I worried that my big guys would accidentally pull a Lennie from “Of Mice and Men” on a smaller dog. 2) Communication. Susan either answers the phone or responds to phone calls/emails within moments. She is keenly aware of what is happening with each dog under her watch and encourages you to call and check in on them. I never even felt like I needed to say who I was when I called. I said my first name and she knew. 3) Pick up / Drop off is handled perfectly. She has a capable and knowledgeable staff and runs her business like a well oiled machine. There is no nonsense and no fuss. Just an expert who knows exactly what she is doing. 4) Flexibility. My flight home was cancelled and I had no idea when I could get it rescheduled. This was met with a shrug from Susan who simply said “Worry about the kids you’re chaperoning on your school trip… we’ll worry about the pups.” I am confident that even if Susan had a fully booked kennel (which she likely had), that she would’ve figured out a way to extend their stay if I needed. 5) “Extras.” I thought to myself: “I really don’t need the bath option before pick up…” but I did it anyway. I’m so glad I did. My dogs looked (and smelled) wonderful when I picked them up. And one of my pups absolutely abhors baths (which I didn’t warn Susan about). She and her team managed anyway. Get the bath option. There’s no other way to take them home. Also, she freely admits that although she knows the vaccination status of neighboring dogs in the kennel she cannot possibly know if vermin or other ickiness is being transmitted. The bath is important before taking them home. I hesitate to call it an “extra” 6) Pricing. I actually hesitated before committing to Applewood because I thought their pricing was uncannily low in comparison with others in the area. This should only emphasize the commitment that Susan and her team have to their craft and business. It’s not a “money grab” (which is certainly how I felt about the last place where I kenneled my pups for one night). Here’s the best sign that this kennel is a great place to bring your pups: my guys weren’t all that excited to see me when I picked them up. As much as that might seem strange, that is the highest compliment the dogs themselves can give of the place. I was so nervous leaving on this vacation. But because of Applewood, I could completely let go of the worry about my big babies. I cannot recommend this place enough.

First time here. My dog came home happy smelling good. They took care of him answered all my questions. I called acouple times and the reassured me he was fine. They never made me feel rushed or my questions inconvenienced them. Very professional from the time I dropped him off until the time I picked him up. Yes he will be back.Thank You!

My wife and I have always in the past used the Pet Spa & Resort in Franklin, NJ for boarding our dogs but when we had trouble contacting them over the phone we decided to try this place located in Vernon, NJ, based upon their mostly positive reviews - BIG MISTAKE!! We have two dogs, both large at 80+ lbs. each. One an 8 year old female, the other a 15 year old senior male who always board together. When I called the owner first for information I was informed that they had a special program for dealing with senior dogs and were charging 10.00 extra a day. She said for this extra amount the dog would receive special attention and care. When I brought the dogs in later that week to be boarded I first asked to see the actual enclosure they would both be sharing. Well it's a good thing I did. The enclosure was in a very dimly lit, dreary, almost windowless shed. The size was 5 and half feet by 5 and a half feet with a cot taking up almost almost half of the space. I was astonished to think they would be boarding two large dogs together in such a tiny space where even just one dog would have trouble turning around. When the owner saw how displeased I was she said that each dog could have its own enclosure if i was willing to pay extra. How this place had gotten good reviews is beyond me - I wouldn't board my dog here if you paid me. Needless to say my wife and I turned around and walked out. We decided to use the reliable Pet Spa & Resort instead. If you are tempted to use this facility I would suggest you check out first the actual enclosure your dog(s) will be placed in. Personally I would not recommend this kennel to anyone.

I have been using Applewood for years. As the owner of not one but 2 generations of old English sheepdogs , they are known to be energetic goofballs who tend to be emotional babies during times of separation . Susan and her staff are always comforting to them and it makes it so much easier to leave them in her expert care. I would not even consider using another kennel for my sheepies !

Couldn't be a more caring, kind service for your pet. Over Christmas, Lisa took the time to buy a particular cat food she thought my cat might eat. He was eating very little at the time & Lisa hoped this might help. I was away & feeling worried & Lisa did all she could to keep me informed & get Shadow back to good health. So grateful.

Lisa and her staff are incredible! We've used Nature's Nanny for various pets over the last several years, and they have always taken great care of them. We appreciate the notes and photos they send after each visit. For our last service, in addition to Lisa taking care of our two cats, we had to make last minute arrangements to have our dog taken care of when my mother-in-law had a medical emergency and couldn't watch him anymore. Lisa was so accommodating, which made us feel so much better about being far away from home. We will continue to use Nature's Nanny for all of our pet care needs whenever we go away for extended periods.

I needed a reliable dog sitter who could give my dog meds twice a day and sometimes doesn't want to take them. Lisa was able to get them down for him. She sends me photos and updates for every visit. My work plans changed and she was able to accommodate that as well. As a dog mom with a dog with health issues, it is a huge sigh of relief to have someone trustworthy and caring taking care of him! From the second we met with Lisa, we knew we ( and our VERY particular kitty) were in excellent hands! It’s not easy to entrust someone you don’t know personally into your home to take care of your furry family member while you are away. Lisa interviewed us as much as we interviewed her, and we truly felt like her expertise and experience made her an extremely trustworthy caretaker. We couldn’t have been more impressed! Despite the fact that our cat becomes territorial and downright vicious with strangers, Lisa managed to feed, change the litter, and even attempt to socialize with her, while knowing exactly how to handle such a difficult cat. We got a daily log of the day’s activities, as well as pictures and text updates. When we got home, it was obvious that an unbelievable amount of care and attention had gone into her, and she behaved as if we’d never left.( In fact, her litter box was better cared for than I think we even do!) We can not recommend Nature’s Nanny Pet Service and Lisa enough!!!! We have already used her services twice, and will continue to do so in the future.I felt like she cared for our cat as much as we do, and was professionally able to handle her in a way that neighbors and family members were unable to. We are so grateful, and have recommended her to several people, and will continue to do. I highly recommend giving yourself complete peace of mind, and hiring such a fantastic service. I only wish we had found Nature’s Nanny’s Pet Service sooner!

My dog absolutely loves it here! As soon as he realizes where we're going he's always excited. He loves the staff and they are great. I love the fact that he can go outside anytime he wants to go to the bathroom. Most of the other daycares I've been to they charge extra to walk them and my dog usually just holds it in while I'm gone all day. This is the first place I'm completely comfortable leaving him.

Our Bella goes mostly twice a week and she loves it. Gets her exercise and social time in. She gets so excited when we get close. Staff is excellent!

Our dog hated going to daycare at Happy Hound. He has no problem going to other daycares, but something about Happy Hound made him extremely agitated. For other daycares, he marches right in and is excited to play, but with Happy Hound he was always dragging his feet and was very clearly upset to be going there. We are no longer using this daycare, and our dog is much happier at his new daycare.

Great place for dogs to play and socialize with both indoor and outdoor space. Also has DIY wash for dogs, as well as, groomers who take appointments. Friendly and loving staff!

We have been using Happy Hound since August and couldn’t be happier. Our pup is always excited when we pull into the parking lot. She comes home tuckered out. We got her as a rescue and we definitely think Happy Hound has contributed to her adjusting well and her socialization. They are very good about communicating about any changes (ex. rare closing for inclement weather) or any promotions (like when they bring in a photographer and you “pay” with a monetary donation to a local rescue and have pics taken of your pup). The staff is very friendly. The place is always clean (and smells clean!). The grooming service in house is very convenient. Reasonably priced. Can’t recommend them enough!

Our dog has been coming for months. As soon as we pull into the parking lot he goes nuts- He runs right inside and is so excited! They take such good care of the dogs and our dog comes home exhausted from playing all day. The staff is awesome here. Highly recommend!!

Bryan Reisz is remarkable. For about a decade, he cared for our two golden retrievers, one young and rambunctious, the other sweet, mellow and a bit older. Bryan was perfect for both. Long romps, swimming, attention to any issues that came up. Lots of exercise, lots of fun. Not sure who was happier to see Bryan come by -- the dogs or us. He truly is a dog whisperer. Our dogs would stay with him when we left town and we knew they were having a ball. He is caring, knowledgeable and is as good as it gets in the dog world. We had complete confidence in Bryan to ensure our dogs were well cared for and safe. We know that others will have the same great experience.

We found Lauren and her company Canine Concierge in 2016 when we were going away for Thanksgiving and needed a last minute visit service for our cats, and we were so happy with her that we booked visits with her every time we were away ever since! The website makes it easy to book visits, and we have always been very happy with the thoroughness we see every day when we cat our "cat reports", complete with pictures and fun summaries of how everything went. It's something we look forward to each day we're away, and we feel at ease with our cats in Canine Concierge's hands.

Lauren is just wonderful! She took such great care of our Oliver while we were away. She even made him a special dog-friendly yogurt and peanut butter birthday cake on his birthday and had a little party for him with all of his friends there. She sent me adorable videos and photos. Oliver enjoyed his vacation there!

The Canine Concierge team is the best around! They truly care for every single pet that they service and will go beyond and above to make their visit awesome! The photos and visit recap are a great communication to see how the visit went and important info on your pet. Their communication within their app is prompt and professional. I have been with them for 17 years and would never go anywhere else!

We have just started initial contact with Canine Concierge, and have not had an actual sitting yet. So far we are very pleased with the attention and care given to us for our first experience. I am so happy I found this amazing business! I was extremely anxious about having strangers come walk my dog, but what a great group of people they have! Max loves all the girls that come and walk him, I always receive pictures and a full report on how the day went :) not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable in comparison to others I have researched!

Per Jason Abate's earlier message, I can't praise Aranwood staff enough for their excellent care of our 12-year old spaniel, as well as compassion for our family. They boarded her for weeks while we worked on a permanent rescue for her. She adjusted well, was happy, and made both canine and human friends. Richie and staff were great, and helped smooth her transition. Thank you, thank you. 🐶

This is going to be my 3rd time using Aranwood Kennels including their grooming session as well and I have nothing but good things to say about their services. I am so happy to find this place and be able to leave my pups in a good save environment with no b.s going on, straight to the point and very good people. I will continue to use their services and cannot wait till I am able to signed them up to their training classes avail for dogs!

This will be the 3rd time bringing my shih tzu to his kennel. He cares about each and every dog as if it's his own. I've seen him save dogs. Please people stop these 1 star reviews. You're jumping on a bandwagon by a person who has a vendetta against someone else and this owner is in the crossfire.

I travel from Clark to Aranwood Kennels to board my 3 y/o Cane Corso with Danny, ACT K9 Services. It’s taken me so long to find someone who I can trust with my dog and who understands his breed. Well worth the travel time. Thank you guys so much; my fur babe was well taken care of!

My dog seems to actually enjoy Aranwood as he can enjoy the freedom of the large indoor/outdoor pens. Great facility with very friendly and accommodating owners.

The owner put a great deal of work and money into fixing this place up, it looks great. Very accommodating, and took good care of my boy.
