Danielle has worked wonders for me and my pup! I got my German shepherd as a puppy four years ago and ended up pretty lost and overwhelmed on how to manage him. After doing the 4 week board and train, she helped set a foundation for him that has made him a joy to work with. She got him to a point where he's much more manageable and taught me how to communicate my expectations to him. He's not a robot and with four years of misbehaving under his belt he's still got plenty we need to fine tune, but I'm in awe of how much progress he's made already. Since I got him back I've loved working with him every day and I'm so excited and proud to see him show off his new skills. Danielle really keeps you involved in the process of training, and I can see how invested she is in every dog. If you're just lost on where to start with your dog but willing to put the effort in, I wholeheartedly recommend using her services!

Without being dramatic, Danielle gave me back my sanity. I have a young high energy springer spaniel that needed help learning how relax both inside and outside. Of course she is still full of energy and excitement to be alive but I have such a better understanding of how to work with her so she is feeling tired and placing boundaries so we can just exist and enjoy each others company at home! When I first sought her help, we couldn’t even go on a walk because she was too nervous and I didn’t know how to work through it with her. Now 7 weeks later, we have started running together and she can join me on a weekend hike which was always my hope. I went from feeling and looking overwhelmed to having strangers compliment how well behaved she is when we are at the park!

Danielle is an amazing dog trainer and a genuinely kind person! We brought a German shepherd puppy into our family and had no idea how dramatically this would change our lives. Our puppy was overly interested in the 17-year-old cat, and very reactive to other dogs. Taking her on a walk was unpleasant and embarrassing! She didn't have recall if she was distracted by anything, and she had horrible manners with guests in our home. All of this has changed! I can not say enough great things about Danielle! I first started using her for my dog about three years ago. I had adopted a rescue while I was in undergrad not knowing anything about his past, and he had turned out to be reactive. I tried multiple other trainers, and my dogs did good with them, but once I got him back it would go right back to how it was. What makes danielle different is that she genuinely cares about YOUR relationship with your dog. Sure, she takes your dog and trains them so that the dog knows what is expected of them, but then she works with you so that you know how to work with your dog. I only trust Danielle with my dog, and have reached out to her multiple times since our initial training session, and she was there for us every single time! Jax gets so excited whenever he sees her, so I know he is in great hands whenever I leave him with her. She also takes the time to explain why my dog reacts the way he does, so that I can better understand him and help him work through his problems. Last year I moved to Alabama for veterinary school, and it was a massive change for both my dog and I that resulted in me slacking with his training and us both feeding off of each others stress/anxiety. I let it go on for too long before asking for help, and I got to my breaking point and even considered giving up on him. But then I reached out to Danielle. Despite being 8 hours away, she made sure to help me through his problems. She even squeezed in a time for me to come meet with her back in Kentucky, and gave me resources to use until I could make the drive back. Jax immediately made improvements within 20 minutes of our session, and I finally feel confident that I can work with him again. She makes sure to give you every tool you need to succeed when it comes to training your dog on your own. Danielle is 100% worth the 8 hour drive, and truly helped me reconnect with my dog.

Danielle is the best! FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH! I rarely take the time to leave google reviews, but when I LOVE and truly believe in something, I will 100% take the time to recommend it to anyone and everyone. And I absolutely feel this way about Danielle. Our dog Moose is a very reactive, anxious little guy. He was always a nervous dog ever since we adopted him, but through the pandemic, he became more stressed around people. We had to adjust our lives and schedules around Moose sometimes which was an inconvenience but we just saw it as a part of our lives and were okay with it. However, when we saw how stressed he was around our new baby, we knew we couldn’t wait any longer to take action and find someone who could help us. The first conversation I had with Danielle, I just knew she was the right one. She was so knowledgeable in all things dog, not just basic obedience, and I knew that it wasn’t going to be a cookie cutter guidebook that she gives each dog owner, but a curated training plan specifically for Moose. And I was not wrong! After a 6 week board and train with Danielle, we can finally feel comfortable taking our dog outside of our house again. Walking him on a leash isn’t something we dread, playing with him in the backyard isn’t stressful, and his life overall is just more fun for him! We are so thrilled that his life is more fulfilled and he can just be his fun, silly self without being anxious and stressed all the time! Danielle truly cares for Moose, even now after he’s been home for a month. She still wants to help out as much as possible and waits for our updates! Overall, she is someone who truly cares for you AND your dog. She cares about coaching YOU, not just your dog and she has made our life SO MUCH easier and better. I could go on and on about how great she is and how grateful we are that we found her!

I took Trigger to Danielle to help us with his reactivity to other dogs while on leash. She helped us with that and so much more. She taught me how to help him think through things on his own to build his confidence. We were able to use her tips to conquer his fear of the big scary blow up decoration at the park and several other things that make life easier for us both! I have also been able to use what we learned in class to work with my 10 year old rescue at home. She accommodated Trigger’s picky treat palate and helped him enjoy classes even when some were hard for him. Danielle gets through a lot of information in each class and supports it with helpful videos to use once you get home. She is also available via text anytime even after completion of class! We have not gotten to make one of her group classes yet but hope to soon! We are so thankful for Danielle’s help. Both of us left with so much more confidence and could not recommend her enough!

I cannot express enough how incredible our experience has been with Danielle. Our dog was off the handle before we met her and we were at a complete loss. He would bark for hours in his crate and try to escape to the point of hurting himself. He would pull me down on walks. His anxiety was ruining his life and making ours so stressful! But then with Danielle and her expertise our situation completely turned around. From the moment we began working with her, it was clear that she had an exceptional understanding of canine behavior. Her approach was not just about training, but about building a strong bond between Beau and us. We can now trust Beau off leash as well as in his crate. She has taught us the set of tools we need to help with Beau no matter what the situation. We are immensely grateful for Danielle's guidance and couldn't recommend her more highly.

Danielle is a phenomenal trainer! Both of our dogs (sisters) completed the Board and Train six-week program with her. She was able to connect with each dog individually and understand how to best teach and train them. She created a true foundation for both dogs to help them understand commands and desire to obey those commands. They came home much more obedient and with a plan to help us continue to train them and reinforce what she had taught them. They are still the same dogs but with much better temperaments and willingness to follow commands. Our house is much less chaotic. We knew Danielle did a great job when both our dogs saw her 2 weeks after coming home and greeted her with lots of kisses and tails wagging. One of the many things I like about this program is she has built-in lessons after and is just a phone call away to answer any questions. We would highly recommend Danielle to anyone who desire to improve their dogs behavior and have a plan going forward to maintain it.

I’ve been using K9 Safari for several years now! Marlize is great with the dogs, and they are always so excited to see her! When we pick them up they are always tired and happy! I love that my dogs aren’t spending my time away in a kennel. She always sends lots of update pics and is extremely easy to work with for scheduling. You won’t regret using K9 Safari!

THE BEST BOARDING EVER. I had been looking for non-kennel boarding for my two dogs Ridley and Murphy. Murphy has separation anxiety and doesn’t do well in an enclosed space. I found K9 Safari and was so excited I emailed her right away. She got back to me quickly the same day and we set up a “trial” sleepover the next week. Drop off was very easy and my dogs were so excited they didn’t even look back at me as I drove away. She sent picture updates of them and she let me know how they were doing throughout their stay. Pick up was just as easy as drop off, both of them were so happy (and a little sad to leave). I knew they had the best time and were well taken care of. I will never be boarding them anywhere else. ☺️

We have used K9 Safari twice so far and Marlize was wonderful with our dog Winston! We wanted a place that was kennel free and this was perfect. We received pictures daily of Winston playing outside with all the other dogs. We had a tired and happy puppy once we returned home from our vacation. We will definitely be using her service again. Very reasonably priced and accommodating. I would highly recommend her service!

K9 Safari is the absolute best. My dog Beans stays multiple times a year due to my work schedule and also attends weekly doggy daycare. His excitement when we arrive speaks for itself - he absolutely loves going and it gives me such peace of mind to know he's safe and enjoying himself. Marlize is wonderful, and the daily pictures are great! Highly recommend!

K9 Safari is a real gift in our lives as we travel often and for long periods of time to Europe. Our two standard poodles are in excellent care with Martha (Marlize) as she has a vet tech background and a wonderful non-kennel facility. The dogs run and play all day every day under the trees and then sleep in Martha's house. No screened in runs. Just fun and fresh air and play. We highly recommend K9 Safari and wouldn't dream of leaving our dogs anywhere else.

I took both my dogs to K9 safari for a weeks stay while we went on vacation. Upon dropping them off I felt like the outside area smelled strongly of dog urine but thought maybe it was my sense of smell because I’m pregnant so I didn’t say anything. She was good about sending photos most days although I have no clue if they were new photos or photos taken all on one day and sent on different days. When I picked my dogs up and when I dropped them she wanted me to text when I was 30 min away, when I got to the exit and when I arrived at her house. Upon picking them up they met me at the vehicle. They had brought one of my dogs with the wrong leash and harness which wasn’t a big deal and they exchanged it out for the correct one. They didn’t return their food so I called her and asked if they had any left. At first she said no, then she asked if their food had been in a ziplock. I identified how their food was brought and she confirmed they did have food left and brought out what I’m pretty sure was the exact amount of food they came with. After getting home I realized quickly that one of my dogs had an eye infection in both eyes that required medication. My other dog had a very large abscess develop on his neck that required lancing to drain, antibiotics and laser treatment to heal. I spent over $500 on vet bills from issues that occurred to my dogs while in her care and she never mentioned any issues. While both issues may have been unavoidable because of the other dogs at the resort I feel like these are things she should have noticed and told me about. Both of my dogs acted very different for the first week or so home like they were scared which is not like them. I would not take my dogs here again and would not recommend them to anyone.

K9 Safari is the only place that I trust to leave my fur-babies with. Marlize was very friendly, I recieved photos of them playing with other dogs daily. It is great that they get to socialize with other dogs and be in a kennel-free environment. My dogs looked so happy in all of the photos I received from K9 Safari. It looked like they were having a better vacation than I was haha. K9 Safari made my vacation stress free & I knew my babies were in good hands. They came home happy, healthy, and tired 🤣

This is the ultimate vacation for your dog while YOU are on vacation! It's like playing at the dog park every day! Kennel free boarding means your dog will be happy and well cared for and can run and play just like he/she's at your own home. Marlize is the person in charge and she sent me pictures every other day to show me how happy my dog, Ruby, was. It means you don't have to worry so you can enjoy what you are doing while your dog is enjoying what it is doing. When I picked up Ruby, she had a big smile on her face and you can tell she had a great time. This is a wonderful place to board your precious pet and I will be returning soon!

K9 Safari is a home away from home for my dog Oakley. I get pictures daily and have never seen Oakley so happy. Marlize takes such care of the dogs and allows them to be dogs and enjoy being outside and not in a kennel all day which I and Oakley love since he is sometimes there for a couple of weeks each time. When Oakley sees her he is so excited and dogs are like children they won’t hide how they feel. I would highly recommend this business.

Found K9 online; the process of making a reservation is easy and quick. Left my dogs 3 nights / 4 days. I was sent multiple photos each day which I really appreciate. It always hard to leave your pets with someone so seeing that my dogs were having fun was really nice. However, when I picked my dogs up, all of them were sick with Kennel Cough. They hadn't been boarded for almost 2 years; they don't go to dog parks and because they are ridiculous to walk, they basically go in and out of the fenced back yard. So, I was quite surprised and taken back when all 3 of them ended up sick. Although the cost to board is reasonable, the vet bill and medications was that of the stay. I have no idea how they contracted kennel cough, but they did.

They are attentive, detail oriented, responsible, and reliable - proving photos and descriptions after every visit. Our dogs love it and it takes a lot of the stress out of traveling knowing they are in good hands.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this company! We left our 3 dogs and 2 cats at home in their care during our last 7 day vacation and we couldn’t have been happier! The animals uninterrupted daily routine and comforts of home gave us peace of mind and with their pet report and photos with every visit we hardly missed them while we were gone. The Critter Sitters are amazing! I first used their services in 2010 and have continued to use them to care for my dogs when out of town or if we aren’t able to give mid-day breaks to our pups. Recently, I ran into an emergency and had to call them to have someone come unplanned to care for my dogs. They were here as quick as possible for a visit. They are very reliable. Their loving updates are very cute and entertaining. They send pictures with every update. The pictures are amazing to the point I think they are secretly dog photogs. I trust them completely to come into my home and care for my dogs while we are away. I never have to worry about my dogs which allows me to enjoy time vacation. Our boys love every sitter that has visited. I cannot say enough good things about them. I spread word of mouth to anyone that will listen so now I'm taking my praise to the internet!

I absolutely recommend Critter Sitters and I can't thank them enough for the level of care they took for our babies while we were out of town! I got updates with every visit that included pictures. This service is incredible!!! It offers great peace of mind knowing that your fur children are being well taken care of in your absence. All Critters Pet Sitters went above and beyond! My cat has kidney disease, he takes medication and has to coaxed to eat. They did that for me. My older chihuahua has anxiety. He didn’t have to leave his home. My 2 year old Jack Russell has so much energy. They played ball with him. We got several updates on how everyone was doing. It was amazing! I will definitely be using them again and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about do the same!

I am so thankful we found All Critters Pet Sitters, they give me a peace of mind of knowing my animals will have the best care possible. We have 10 dogs, 8 donkeys, and a cat. They come to our farm, let the dogs out of the kennel twice a day, clean the kennel, and of course make sure they are fed and watered. They go to the barn and feed the donkeys and check on one that’s nearly 40 years old. They go to the other barn feed my feral cat. Communication is great, notes are left of tasks that are done. They made a point to get to know my animals and learn their quirks. I trust them to know if one of my pets need vet care. Sherri and her team are such a huge help! They go above and beyond to ensure that my pup is taken care of on their visits, and they communicate wonderfully with me. Through the time they've worked with my pup there were times when he's been ill and Sherri and the team not only took extra special care but helped me enormously in getting him back to normal. Incredible service! Had them watch my cat while I went on vacation. It was his first time alone, so I was worried, but ACPS made sure to make him comfortable and spend lots of playtime with him. When some ants were found in my cat's food, I was contacted immediately and the situation was handled very professionally and quickly. Would absolutely recommend them to others.

They really take time to get to know your dog and I love that they work on training and commands during group play. My dog is not a fan of most people, but his 3 absolute favorite people outside of our household are Lexpets' owner/staff members. We've also boarded there twice, once for only one night, the other time for a full week, and he came back happy and healthy (and tired). They've also done his nails for us many times. He's a tough customer for that, but they take their time and don't extend him past his limits, which helps build his confidence in the whole process. Seriously great place!

This is not a boarding facility where they try to board as many dogs as possible in small crates. They take the time to know your dog and what best fits its personality. They do a evaluation of your dog, no matter the breed, and try to accommodate the dog in way that will make the dog happy with its stay there. The people there are caring and want to know your dog. They have a wonderful facility where the dogs are not just crated, but placed into what looks like glass small sized rooms. They play soothing music for the dogs and have play times for the dogs to enjoy themselves that are timed out to ensure that the dog does not get too tired where it is agitated and the dog will feel refreshed after. I enjoyed my visit and my tour of their facility, although I had looked into them for just boarding, I believe I will want to take my dog to their dog day care in the future just because I feel as though she will have a wonderful time there.

My two spoiled rotten children attend LexPets off and on throughout the month. The staff takes fantastic care of them. Grooming is priced very well and they always come back looking and smelling great. I love the fact they provide basic obedience training while in their care. These people love animals. It shows.

I completed the basic manners course here. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Each trainer was supportive and encouraging.

My 2 goldens love coming to LexPets for daycare and boarding. My older one is very nervous when experiencing new situations and meeting people but LexPets has been great for building his confidence. The staff and owners are always friendly and responsive when I have a question. I highly recommend them!

Best place around for your doggies! Bailey loves going, the staff and owners are amazing! We had a last minute trip but the boarding was full on the day we were to leave. The owner asked if they could take Bailey home for the night so we could leave!! Love the daycare and the boarding!

If zero was an option, I would've picked it. I called in advance, and was told to put the rabbies tag on his collar, bring him in for a full evaluation a day in advance before he was scheduled to go through day care. I was told all of this by the owner. Upon arriving after driving all day(!) The owner upon our arrival was very confrontational. Her first comments was who were we, and why did we have a dog in the lobby. I reminded her that my little man was turbo, we spoke on the phone multiple times. She denied ever talking. After showing her the call history, she admitted I had called the lexpet phone store, and someone had called me back but that it wasn't her. Upon more call history and voice recording, it was confirmed it was the owner I had talked too. She then had the nerve to ask me if i was telling her that she had no idea what she was saying and I answered yes. I told her I didn't appreciate the rudeness and confrontation right off the bat. She could've atleast pretended to be nice and tell us she gave us the wrong info. She blatantly gave me false info, and in fact we chose not to take our dog here which ended up being the best because we went to this other place centrally located in the heart of town called UpTown Hound. My dog got a full evaluation, training, was allowed in the pool, and full play day with other dogs all day for half the price of lex pets. They even have him a bath, and fed him since I dropped him off so early. Needless to say the owner of lex pet was very rude, and reported her to the better business bureau. The uptown hound on the other hand will get a five star rating and a great review. Whoever is in town needs to avoid lex let's, the owners dog was aggressive towards my dog as well while there. Considering I train and sell k-9 protective dogs, this was utterly rude and unprofessional to any customer. The owner said it made her uncomfortable to have customers in the lobby. Even though we were on the schedule to be there! I will never be going to lex pet. From now on my dogs and all the dogs I buy and sell will be going to UpTown Hound. The service was the best of any dog service I have seen across the nation.

This place loves dogs and will be attentive to your dogs needs. My dogs are always excited when we pull up. I only wish they posted instagram pictures on the weekend of the boarders. Literally the only thing about this place that I would change, otherwise it's the best!

Unbound dogs has been amazing. I have used them for over a year now and they have been able to accommodate me on last minute bookings if the need arises, and they are always doing fun parties and events for the dogs. I love it, and my dog loves it too. She’d rather be there than at home!

I don't have enough words to describe how amazing this place is. The staff is phenomenal, and made accommodations for my elderly dog while I boarded her. They still made sure that she spent time socializing and she came home with a new pep in her step. On separate occasions, they even traveled to my house to let her out when she was unable to attend daycare. Not only are they great with your pets, but the owners really get to know you as a person. A few months after my elderly dogs passing, the owner, Lauren, reached out to me about a dog she was fostering that she thought would be a good fit for my personality and lifestyle. She was accommodating to my needs as a full time student while adopting a new dog, and I couldn't be more thankful for my new best friend. If you are looking for a doggy daycare that will love your dog as much as you do, this is 100% the place.

We are nervous pet parents who don't trust many people with our pups. Unbound Dogs has made taking them in for boarding and daycare so easy. Not only do they love our dogs almost as much as we do, but our dogs are always so excited when they know they're going for a visit. (When the suitcases come out, they know they're going for boarding and start jumping around!) Highly recommend Unbound Dogs to anyone nervous about the daycare and boarding process.

We have traveled all over the country and this is one of the only daycares that caters to the schedule of a nurse! So unbelievably thankful for the hours and healthcare discount. If all of that doesn't sell you, then the staff certainly will. The 2 sisters (Hope and Lauren) that run this place are so amazing and always available via text. Communication is always prompt and kind. My dog literally whines when we pull up in the morning and is exhausted by pick up time. Thanks for always taking great care of Elvis 🥰

Our boy Nik has enjoyed daycare at Unbound Dog for the past 2 years. Every visit continues to be met with great excitement and he loves the staff immensely. Indoor and outdoor playtime (weather permitting) are both available. And each holiday brings fun and unique activities such as this past Christmas, photos with the Grinch. We appreciate and are happy to support this small business. Drop-off and pick-up both have a four-hour window making it very convenient for our changing schedule, while scheduling is as simple as sending a text. This is a business that cares about its clientele both human and canine. We strongly recommend Unbound Dog.

The only daycare place in Lexington that has hours that work with healthcare workers schedule. My pup is so excited every time we pull in the parking lot and is exhausted when he gets home. Being able to text to schedule is such an added bonus. Extremely convenient

My pup, Milo, LOVES Unbound Dogs! He always is so pumped to get inside for daycare or boarding. I get to enjoy a tired dog after also :) They treat the dogs so good there and he absolutely loves it! Great prices also, very accommodating to healthcare workers schedule as well.

Amazing daycare and boarding. Our dog always loves being there and having so much fun. They helped us out and boarded our dog at last minute notice. Our dog had so much fun and so tired when we picked her up. I would give more stars if I can!

This was my dog's second home for almost a year, and they took care of her like she was theirs including when she was sick and had to be taken to the emergency vet. As a healthcare worker their opening time and discounts were life savers. Piper and I will miss having such good and reliable daycare!

Honey LOVES going to daycare! Unbound is the only place my socially challenged Honey is boarded and still treated like a normal dog. She loves seeing all her friends and getting to run and play with nap breaks and some lunch. She comes home happy and tired every time.

I recently moved to Harrodsburg and needed and place to board my two small dogs for the weekend to attend a wedding out of state. I found Bed and Biscuits through a web search and chose them as the destination for my kids. I was not disappointed! Janet and Chuck were taken very good care of. The staff is extremely polite and caring. I would highly recommend! My dogs have found a new second home when I travel! Thank you Bed and Biscuits!

SO INSANELY HAPPY! My dog Finn is people and dog aggressive. No one in my entire area would even give him a trial basis and I have been desperate to travel again for years and felt it was just hopeless! My daughter that lives in Colorado actually found this place and it’s an hour from where I live ! Chelsea welcomed this emotional woman and made me feel so at ease and treated my dog like he was her own! I adore her! Come to find out Finn is only the way he is in my home! I left him for 5 days and it went amazing! All the other girls there are SO sweet and loving and kind! AND they answered the phone every time this worried mom called to check in or ask a million questions! I LOVE this place! They even let me bring all his favorite things and gave him one on one playtime! Truly has been a blessing! Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart! He slept like a baby once we got home! I'm so grateful to have a safe, positive and affordable place to take my pet while traveling! These ladies know their stuff and want to make sure your pet has a positive experience! I've brought my poodle mix three times for extended stays, and even though I've moved from the immediate area, I'll continue to bring her here!

Our 4 year old White German Shepherd loves the retreat. The staff are always helpful, kind and enjoy what they are doing. They always call Piper by name as soon as we walk in. Highly recommend this place.

Our two dogs have stayed here twice now, and they love it! They are always exhausted when they come home and the staff is always great about showing us videos of them playing and running around with other dogs. I feel very confident leaving my high energy fur babies here.

I brought my Doberman to Bed & Biscuit for the first time last week and she stayed for 9 days while I went overseas. This was the longest we had ever been apart and I was very nervous. However, the staff at Bed & Biscuit were amazing! Any time I was missing my dog (which was A LOT!) all I had to do was text them and they would send me photos and videos of her having a great time playing with the other dogs. I am so thankful for what they do, and this will now be the place that I take my girl when I travel.

Our dogs love going to Bed & Biscuits Pet Retreat! They are well taken care of while they are there. I can't think of anyplace I would rather have my pets than Bed & Biscuits. We always take them there.
