I have had a fantastic experience while boarding my cat here for three separate trips. It’s always hard to leave a pet behind while away but I have complete peace of mind. Lisa is such a lovely person and takes beautiful care of both her boarding cats and entire business. The space is immaculate and perfectly maintained. I received updates twice a day with careful attention to my cat’s eating and litter habits to make sure he was happy and healthy. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Lisa and her staff for their wonderful care. It means so much to know that my cat has such a great place to enjoy himself when I can’t be home with him 💕 If you are looking for somewhere to board your cat, I can highly and enthusiastically recommend Upper Cape Pet Services with zero hesitation

I have been with Upper Cape Pet for years and have always had nothing but amazing experiences. Most recently I have needed their service a great deal. I have been fortunate that I am able to meet my dog care specialist daily. Each and every person I have had the pleasure of meeting is kind, loving, timely, a great communicator and most importantly my dogs love when they pull up. They go over and above to ask if I, personally, need anything and make sure every little detail is taken care of before they depart. I am very fortunate to have Lisa and her crew in our lives to help out in times of need and also for the dogs pure enjoyment.!

First time customer likely turned permanent! Heather was fantastic with my doodle. We came in 10-15 minutes before his appointment so he could get accustomed to the area. Heather came right out in a couple minutes and greeted us. My dog was very excited/hyper (also anxious) - she met his energy with calm but playfulness and he warmed right up. NO grabbing by his collar to get him to settle, no yanking him or dragging him to the back. She was very receptive to his behavior and needs. I let Heather know what I’d like and she estimated 1.5 hours. He was done in a couple minutes past 1.5 hours; excellent estimation! My dog came out looking like my teddy bear. She said he did great & removed the dematting service I originally added because he was fine (I wasn’t sure if he’d need. Usually doesn’t but in case so they have the time.) The salon is open and quite clean; not overcrowded with numerous dogs at once. They have a sort of gated area like mini stalls for pups - I did not see any kennels/cages. It was $90 (without tip) for his mini groom, which was exactly what he needed. I live about 45 minutes away but am definitely coming back to see Heather!! I ended up booking his next 2 grooms before I left. Thank you for a great experience.

Upper Cape did a great job on my Chow Chow, one of the most difficult breeds. My Buddy is a senior. They were most careful about his aging issues - warts and hip problems. I was very pleased, I’ve already booked his next appointment. I also felt the pricing was quite reasonable and good smelling cologne! I would highly recommend. And look who went back to Upper Cape Pet Services and even handsomer than ever!

I brought my beagle mix in for a bath and nail clipping. I dropped my dog off at the 12:00 appointment time. I returned an hour and a half later and they hadn’t started and would text me when done. I said okay, no problem. 35 minutes later I received a text that she was finished. I arrived to pick up my dog and Crystal handed me the dog’s leash now in 3 separate pieces. She said “Your leash broke,” and handed it back to me. It’s a thick cloth leash that was in perfect condition. Apparently she was crated for the hour and a half they were running behind. No one mentioned a crate as I would have told them she is extremely crate phobic. She suffered for an hour and a half having a panic attack and chewing through the heavy leash. I keep reading about how deeply my dog’s well being is your first priority. Unfortunately that was not my dog’s experience. Crystal didn’t apologize for the 90 minute delay, or the crate, or the leash. Our dog did smell good at least. I’m hoping my review will be taken as a learning experience for the future. Perhaps let the client know if you’re running late and take some responsibility for excessive crate time and destroyed leash. It would have made all the difference and I would even have brought my pup back for another try.

I highly recommend Upper Cape Pet Sitting! Lisa and her team are so wonderful I feel like they love my dog as much as I do! It has taken me about 1.5 years to find a good pet sitter on cape cod and I am so glad I found them! They send a report after every visit with details and lots of pictures. When they are watching my dog I know I can totally relax. I also recently starting using their grooming services and they are superb. I have received soooo many compliments on the way he looked after. I have not had much luck with groomers in the past and I am thrilled to have one that makes my dog look just the way I want him to! I can’t say enough good things about this business. Even the app they use to schedule/pay/communicate is very user friendly. :)

Amazing amazing amazing! I have a 100lb dog with so much hair and these ladies always do such an amazing job with her. Macie had some anxiety after getting spayed and UCPS took such great care of her, she’s totally comfortable now! I have seen Vanessa, Amirah and Crystal and they are all so talented. I highly recommend to anyone especially if they have a large breed.

Great place! Took my cat here for a grooming - he’s pretty feisty and refuses to get brushed. Booking was super easy, convenient text follow ups. They did a great job making my cat comfortable and he looks fabulous now! Clean, newly remodeled space, very friendly and caring staff. Their cat hotel looks luxurious. Thank you!!!

We have used UCPS several times and couldn't be happier with them. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, some of whom need medication. Care has been flawless. And the reports and pictures are very reassuring. Highly recommend!!

JAC has been amazing for us. Their app makes it super easy to schedule visits. I get pictures and notes each time they take our dog out. I feel comfortable and relaxed when we’re away from home, knowing that our fur baby is being taken care of!

Ellen and team are awesome!!! Always available on last minute requests and team are very good with our two young dogs. They are a lot of work but her team do a great job taking care of them and the dogs love when they come to visit them each week.

I’ve been using JAC for weekly walks for almost two years! The pups look forward to their visits on my long work days & I have peace of mind that my dogs are getting outside to do their business & get some exercise. This team truly goes above and beyond and I can see the care and love through the messages and pictures they send through the app. If they have any issues (such as a possible tick etc) they call me right away. My boy Wilson takes an adventure walk with Wayne every Friday morning. I swear he knows when it is Friday and waits near the door for him. Wayne takes him to all different trails I and around Plymouth. Always sends a report card and always sends pictures. These folks are really fabulous. It has been great for Wilson since he is still a pup,with energy! Give them a try!!!

JAC is a wonderful organization, everyone thoughtful and friendly. They provide the flexibility I need as my schedule can change and sometimes unexpectedly. My dog loves all the pet sitters/walkers and enjoys her outings with them and they seem to truly enjoy what they do. I didn't think getting pictures was anything special, until I started getting them from the dog walkers. The pics that make me laugh or smile on a tough day are the best!!

I had a fantastic experience with Just Around the Corner! As a nervous pet owner leaving my pets at home for the first time during a three-day vacation, I was initially skeptical about how they would handle strangers in the house. However, the constant updates through the app quickly put my mind at ease! The consistent photo updates amused me and kept me laughing the entire time! My animals were well cared for, and my home was maintained impeccably. Their routines remained consistent, and it was as if nothing had changed. I will absolutely use their services again!

We have been clients of Pam and JAC since the very beginning, I clearly remember when she came to our house for the Meet and Greet with us and our Sharpei Ace , many years ago and we have been with her ever since. She has steadily grown her business, employing the most friendly and compassionate professionals to care for our dog, take him on daily hikes, and any other services that are needed. I used Just Around the Corner Petting Sitting when I went away for 5 days and 4 nights this past week for my two cats Nora and Quinn. While I was away, I received detailed day to day updates on my cats and a ton of great pictures. It definitely put my mind at ease to see that they were comfortable and having fun! The sitters also followed my instructions to a T. I will definitely be using JAC on my next trip out of town. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Plymouth area looking for great pet care!

I don't understand the one low rating in a previous comment. I trust Nancy absolutely with my two dogs. She is dedicated to animals and loves our dogs as her own. We have taken extended vacations over the past 4 years and Nancy has been reliable in coming to our home then feeding, walking and playing with our dogs multiple times during the day or evening on whatever schedule we set. While away, Nancy keeps us updated through reassuring, daily pictures and comments sent through Messenger texts. She has visited our home while we there and our dogs respond very positively to her. The Waggin Wheels website clearly states that they come to your home to provide services and does not mention any overnight kenneling. It was made clear to us that the services were provided in our home. So I do not understand the bait and switch comment.

I have been using Nancy Talley for several years and can not say enough Positive things about her. She is the kindest, most responsible, and reliable pet sitter you could ever ask for. Nancy went out of her way to make sure they were taken care of during a recent snowstorm when we were away. She is the best!

We started our german shepard Bailey at Ccdc at around 10 months. We were so discouraged as she wasn't getting along with other dogs. The staff encouraged us to stick it out. They told us she will mature and change. Well, Bailey is two now and she is doing great there. The staff were patient and kind to her during those difficult months. Everyone from the staff when we walked in, to the people watching her all day and the groomers too! Thank you everyone. Keep up the great work !

Can not say enough good things about this place. The owner, Kailey, was so nice and helpful. My dog was there for two weeks full time everyday while we were visiting the Cape, and she would come home exhausted but happy. The staff was all really lovely. Kailey also did training sessions with my dog and sent videos every night of how they went. I highly recommend CCDC and wish I lived closer! As it is, Cookie the dog will be visiting whenever we are at the Cape!

I can’t praise Cape Cod Dog Center enough. My dog LOVES it there and they will even take her for unscheduled visits when she is driving me bananas. It’s a win-win!!

Dallas loves everyone here and they take such good care of our beloved. I am extremely happy with the daycare services& Dallas is too… she hops in my lap every time we pull down the street. This is my first puppy & I think she was around 4 months when she started coming here. The daycare has helped socialize her with dogs and people. The staff has helped foster her trust of people &just proof of how good they are with the dogs. 10/10 we highly recommend ❤️

The CCDC is a wonderful family business, and the only place I feel comfortable leaving my sweet older dog! Full disclosure, I am related to the owner and have been privileged to see her build this business from literally the ground up! Her passion for animals and dedication to being a best in class facility is unmatched. I travel extensively and have a 13 year old dog who I adopted as a feral puppy. Needless to say, she has her quirks! But being able to leave my sweet little lady with someone who is family, an animal lover, AND one of the best dog trainers in the state AND in a beautiful and clean facility is such a blessing and brings me tremendous peace of mind while I am abroad. I recommend the CCDC to all of my friends - it’s simply the best!

Our dog Jackjack LOVED his stay!!! Our family is over the moon happy with how much love and care he received!!! He made some new friends too!!! This was the very first time he ever spent overnight away from us! For 3 whole days!!! We were very skeptical at first, but it was one more f the BEST things we could have done for him! The accommodations are amazing! The staff SO friendly, professional and caring!!! Mr Jackjack can’t wait to start doggie daycare on a regular basis! I really think He misses his new friends! (Human and furry) Thank you so much for taking such good care of our precious furry child!!!!

Inquired about pet sitting. She was very responsive to my inquiry and offers a great service. I haven't used their services yet. They do an in home visit first, so that all parties are comfortable with one another.

poor kennel conditions for boarding, they are very small & smelly with no fresh air circulating. no full time staff throughout the day. one person is onsite in the morning mornings and another person in the afternoons to manage everything including daycare etc. no elevated beds inside the kennels; when poor dogs left alone 6pm- 7am, they have to sit in their urine in a very small space. UPDATE Sept 12th: my dog did not fail your evaluation. In fact, your staff insisted that I pay to make the reservation for boarding which I was very hesitant of (that is why I had the form filled completely but not paying),. You failed my evaluation for the treatment of animals and I know you are going to every extend to get rid of negative reviews about you. I guess Google did not let you remove this one

Tried to board my dogs while I was on vacation and was told that even though they have room, it was last minute and they wouldn’t take them. Not the friendliest people I’ve dealt with.

They loved having our 3 Golden Retrievers and they were awesome with them, we just moved back to this area and we will always use them when we travel from now on

PLEASE READ!! My girlfriend and I decided to try out UpperCapeK9s for daycare for our 1.5 year old lab mix, as we recently moved to the area and saw great reviews. DO NOT be fooled by the reviews/pictures -- There is a very small, narrow fenced in dirt area that loops around the side of the house where the dogs are allowed, or otherwise, they are kept in their crates in a small room (which they were reluctant to show during our "tour"). While the owner, Bob, and his wife seem to do work around the yard and house, they lock the dogs up. There is no "crew" watching the dogs as mentioned. After the first time meeting Bob, we could sense that something was slightly off -- he was very brief when meeting/touring the location & came off as a rude. We couldn't tell if there were other dogs there & our otherwise friendly pup would not come/go near him. We decided to give him benefit of the doubt due to his "30 years of experience" as we needed a close place for our pup to relieve energy with other dogs. After showing up 5-10 minutes late for 8am drop off, Bob asked us to be more punctual as he "plans his day in 15-minute increments". I've never heard of that for drop off at a dog daycare, but I thought it was fair and respected his ask. Fast forward a week later, I show up on time for 4:45pm pickup and Bob, nor his wife, are there -- we were never under the impression that he would leave the dogs unsupervised at any point. After texting him, he lets me know that he's running late & will be home in 5 minutes. He then continued to scold me for having "no boundaries" for opening his unlocked gate to the usual pickup area. After a few other rude remarks, he then opened the gate to let my dog out and INTENTIONALLY didn't put his leash on so that he could run away. And this is only the second week of bringing our pup. Moral of the story, listen to your gut if you feel something is off about the people who care for your dogs. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!

😞😞😞😞😞😞😞I feel so bad for bringing my pup here for daycare. The information on the website is very misleading!!!? It is not a facility like you imagine, it is a home based day care with a small dirt area for the dogs. We were not shown inside the building where the dogs stay. Owner was dismissive when asking questions to better understand the area. Just very rude & aggravated by presence. Needs to find a better way to speak to people, especially for business purposes. Arrived to pick up my pup & he was not home, hmmm???😓

I went away to the Florida Keys and left Eli for boarding with upper cape k9 for 5 days. Price is GREAT! It’s the best feeling in the world going away and knowing your dogs are in great hands while you are away. Checked in with Eli and all was well while I was away. Eli came home exhausted but I just know he had a great time. He was also sent home with treats. Which I thought was a great little gift. Bob is great! Friendly, caring, responsive, knows his stuff and most importantly took such good care of my pup Eli. Highly recommend sending your pup here whether it’s for daycare, boarding or whatever your needs are!

Bob and the group at Upper Cape K9s took great care of our active German Shepherd hound mix. He made sure she settled in and didn't let her bark the whole time like she had at other kennels. Their spot in the woods is much nicer than some other places we have been. I'm sure we will be coming back!

We use UpperCapeK9 for training, boarding, and daycare! We have an active 10 month old puppy and couldn’t recommend UpperCape enough.

We boarded our very nervous rescue with Angie and the experience was wonderful! We did a once a week daycare to prepare our little one. She was tail wagging the day we dropped her off for boarding. She loved it there and Angie is very kind, patient, loving. Five stars all the way! Highly recommend Angie's Pet Care! So happy we found her!

I am so grateful to Sheenagh for teaching me to help my reactive 2 year old to relax. After trying unsuccessfully to train him myself, I worried it was hopeless. I needed a professional and Sheenagh was perfect. He is like a different dog! Our guy will always be a little nervous, it’s in his dna but thanks to Sheenagh I now know how to read his cues and respond. His quality of life (and that of our other dog) has improved so much now that they can take long walks, play off leash and be around other dogs and people. Sheenagh’s kindness and patience was so awesome.She is an amazing trainer and also a great person. I highly recommend!

Happy Tails MV did such a wonderful job with my two Goldens. They are professional and very attentive to the needs of each pet they care for. I highly recommend their services.

My standard poodle, Saylor, and I learned the obedience one commands and could practice at home. Classes were conducted safely for dogs and people. The instruction was good and the methodology for instruction was good.

It was serendipitous when I bumped into Sheenagh while walking her cute pup. I learned that she was a trainer, was holding obedience classes very soon, and had a pet sitting company. My dog Kylie and I attended her 6 session class and she helped me greatly with recommendations about collars and leashing. I have since used her pet sitting operation with with extreme satisfaction. The daily email updates, with photos, reassure us that our pets are receiving just what we hoped for. Sheenagh miraculously found coverage for me for Christmas day (!), and when ferry cancellations prevented me from getting home from another event, Kate was able, on very short notice, to provide extra visits so that my pets were safe and cared for. When my young rescue dog away, Sheenagh, on learning of it, came twice to help search. I was deeply touched and grateful. ( good outcome). I trust and appreciate their care and commitment.

The best…Happy Tails has provided our family with incredible pet care since we adopted our 2 pup rescues in 2021. Our now very large, energetic dogs love all of the Happy Tails team members and get so excited for their walks or play time with them. They have definitely become an extension of our family. We are very happy with the care our dogs received while we were away on vacation! The communication was excellent including daily updates and pictures which made our time away stress free knowing that our dogs were in excellent care. We have also used their pet walking service. They arrived on time with treats in hand and were very attentive in getting to know them especially at the meet and greet when working with Bruin and Lucca for the first time. Lucca, our german shepherd, can be protective when meeting strangers for the first time, but Sheenagh and Kate handled it with great skill and by the end of their walk, they were best friends.
