Erica did a wonderful job looking after our cat Milo. She gave regular updates via her Instagram page and we could tell Milo loved her (he is not a fan of new people). Erica has looked after our animals for years like they were her own. Our cat, dogs and chickens have had the best care we could have asked for and I would highly recommend her service. The added peace of mind that the house is also looked after and secure while away is an added bonus. Although I have asked her to also mind the kids she seems to prefer the fury variety better. We have a beloved wolf hound x cattle dog, Piper, that has had the most genuine love and care from Erica, and we couldn't be anymore thankful. Erica is very passionate about her job and especially towards all her animals that she looks after. She is always just as excited to see Piper just as much as Piper gets when Erica comes. If needed, she would go out of her way to make sure Piper, other pets are well taken care of. We can see she genuinely loves her animals, and solely trust Erica to look after Piper, and we are very hard critics. She's very fun, exciting, helpful, kind, careful and professional. She is our number one go to when we need the care for Piper, and would always give our highest recommendation.

I have used Erica's a few times now when I have gone away on holidays or even for a long weekend away & would not leave my dog Tilly with anyone else. We had an unexpected situation during our trip to Cairns when we arrived at our accommodation and realized that pets weren’t actually allowed, even though it was advertised as pet-friendly. With our 4-month-old pup in tow, we were devastated and began searching for pet boarding options. We reached out to several places, including Arisa, and she got back to us within two minutes! She asked us to bring our pup over to see if he was pet-friendly, and to our relief, he was. We left him with Arisa for two nights, and during that time, we received regular updates, photos, and videos. It really put our minds at ease. Arisa & Mark looked after our Kelpie for a week while we were interstate and they absolutely showered him with love and attention, they made him part of their family. Yes, without a doubt highly recommend Arisa's services 👍 Based on Arisa’s recent care for my dog Dahli (a Kangal Shepherd), I can tell you that Dahli adored her twice daily visits and cuddling, as evidenced by Arisa's daily photos, which clearly show our dog was in fantastic hands. Arisa was amazing, lots of photos and videos and I picked up a very tired doggo! Wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. She also has an amazing set up with the front yard being fully fenced!

Right from the start, Arisa showed genuine concern for Nagini's well-being. She took the time to learn about her specific needs, routines, and quirks, ensuring she felt right at home during her stay. Beyond the cuddles and playtime, Arisa took her physical needs seriously. She followed her dietary requirements meticulously and made sure she got plenty of exercise to keep her happy and healthy.

Highly recommend!! Arisa and Mark were fabulous Excellent communicator and 100% reliable. I would be extremely happy to have their care for any pet. They were so patient and calm with Duchess who's quite nervous - they are now best friends and she didn’t want to leave them! We're very grateful!

Spent almost a month abroad in April, and Jenna's girls looked after our dog while we were away. I received daily reports with photos, so I was in touch with my dog's carers the entire time, and could respond to their messages as well. Fantastic service, will use Jenna's Petsitting again - highly recommended!

Harry loved his two night sleepover at pet-sitter Courtney's house. He came back happy and exhausted from all of the fun he had. Courtney was excellent giving us updates and it is very clear she adores all types of dogs. She was even excellent in the handover so Harry was not stressed at all when we left him. Jenna's Petsitting did a wonderful job with overnight stays with our two dogs while we were away visiting family for a fortnight!! We returned home to everything clean and neat as a pin. Most importantly we returned to healthy, happy and excited but relaxed pups. It was apparent that they'd both had plenty of love, exercise and attention in our absence, and we received photos periodically as well, which was great. The service gave us peace of mind while away and was great value for money. We unreservedly recommend Jenna's Petsitting for friends and family with furkids based on our experience, and will definitely be looking for them to care for our pups when we're away in future.

Our Doberman and cat were looked after over two weeks while we were away. It was wonderfull to receive a daily write up on our pets and what they had been up to with their carer. If we had any questions they would also be answered promptly. We could ask for more and it gave us a total pice of mind knowing our animals were in great hands.

Jenna's Petsitting is amazing. We have used her services several times now and the sitter we have had has been amazing. On the intro visit, our boy dog sat with her immediately and the girl dog sat on her foot to lay claim! We have had two sitters, both were excellent, which is testament to the hiring and vetting process. At the last visit, Lucy had a birthday and the sitter took them both for an extra long walk and made sure everyone knew it was Lucy's birthday so she got extra pats. We get pics every day, via email and SMS and lots of feedback about how the dogs are doing. I cannot recommend this service highly enough and feel totally at ease leaving my dogs in the charge of the sitter. On each occasion, the sitter has stripped the bed, washed linen and generally left the house as good, if not better than we left it. This was totally unexpected and not required, but we were grateful. Whilst we leave all passwords, wifi, Netflix etc and expect them to be used, nothing is abused and the place is spotless when we come back. The dogs are always pleased to see us when we return, but a mark of how well they are treated when we are away is that after the first few minutes, they're back to normal and go to sleep, not clingy or anxious and this tells me that they were really quite relaxed and happy whilst we were away. 14/10 Would definitely recommend!

We found Jenna’s when our usually dog kennels we’re fully booked. Our blind, anxiety-ridden dog was looked after by the lovely Sherry, her family and her own fur babies. The booking process was smooth, Sherry contacted me a few days before reassuring me that our fur-baby would be well looked after & really put me at ease. It was the same when I dropped him off at her house. When I picked him up, he was so happy and it appeared that Sherry had looked after him like he was one of her own dogs, very spoiled indeed with lots of cuddles, creek swims and rump steak. We’ll definitely be using Jenna’s again & would 100% recommend.

Exceptionally good at keeping us informed of the process and incredibly accommodating in sorting out all of the practical matters we had no idea about. We went through the extensive process of sending our 2 Bengal cats from Cairns to Zurich. Darren and his team were very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. The cats arrived safe and sound and the comfort stops have certainly helped to ease the stress. Very grateful!

Dogtainers Cairns went above and beyond to help fly our newly adopted dog Eddie all the way from Cairns to Perth, WA. They were so informative on the steps of Eddie's flight and very caring when dealing with his individual needs. I have never flown an animal before so I was very nervous in this process but they reassured every anxiety I had and the website FAQ was extremely detailed. Thank you! Tucker made the journey from Townsville to Brisbane last Friday. The staff from Dogtainers are wonderful to work with. From the time of requesting a quote to arriving into the Brisbane airport. They looked after Tucker very well and it was really nice to see he had fresh water and something to lay on. Dogtainers Cairns were extremely knowledgeable of flight paths and requirements when sending a pet to remote areas of Queensland. They also assisted me very well when I had multiple changes of plans, which I was impressed with. I would certainly recommend the team.

Beyond grateful to the amazing staff at Dogtainers in Cairns. Huge thank you for going out of your way to ensure my big doggy had a safe trip on the plane. They were also kind enough to let me borrow a spare container to help condition my anxious dog at home, before the flight. She went on without a hitch, with the team waiting for me and clear instructions at the airport. Every time I contacted them, they were friendly, quick and very helpful, replied to emails almost immediately. If I could give you ten stars I would!!

Dogs were excited to leave us, staff stayed with them while outside to ensure the big one didn't jump the fence. Place didn't sink like some do. Dogs came back beautiful and clean. The found out how high anxiety my boy was but the dogs looked good when we went to pick them up.

Having never boarded a hound at a kennel before, and after hearing innumerable horror stories, I was nervous beyond belief before I contacted Kuranda Pet Resort. From that very first contact their team have proven to be absolute champions, offering true blue, gold star service !!! To boot, my hound had just undergone cruciate ligament surgery on her back leg, and required a mandatory sedate environment. She also came with a list of dietary, and specific daily medication dosage requirements. Before my hound's visit I had many discussions with the Resort, and their reassurance, and advice gave me the confidence, and calm I needed. I picked up my hound yesterday, after her first ever visit at the Resort, a big 20 night stay, and she is so chilled, and in such brilliant nick, and she is lovely and clean, as is all her bedding ..... I could not find one thing to moan about. This, my first ever experience with Kuranda Pet Resort has proven to be truly priceless, and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them , and will definitely board my hound there again, only next time, without any anxiety. I was worried about boarding my dog for the first time - she is a rescue and a bit anxious. We picked her up after 2 weeks and she was absolutely fine - no issues at all. She has settled back at home like she’s never been away. Would definitely recommend this facility and will definitely use again.

Our dog suffers from anxiety and takes medication for it. He had literally no issues staying here for 9 days when we went on holidays. When I picked him up he was relaxed and completely unphased. The carers did an excellent job and he came back to us washed, manicured and well fed. Will definitely use them again.

I have a girl pug named Debbie. She has stayed at the resort a few times and she absolutely loves it!! The staff are so amazing with the dogs. It's obvious they genuinely love their job. We can go away and feel confident that she is also having a great time. I love the big yards and the way the dogs can have so much playtime. This place is the absolute best!!!!👌🌴🐾❤️

Beautiful facilities, they clipped our puppy’s nails at no extra charge ( that was because they want to cuddle her but her nails kept getting in the way!) The only “complaint” is the very restrictive pick up and drop off times. This is a very professional set up with wonderful hands on owners .

I am so so happy with our pups stay here for 10 days at the end of October. Highly recommend & could not fault the service we received. It’s reassuring that they’re very process driven around completing information forms for our dogs so they knew the ins & outs, plus vaccination records. You know they hold a high standard for who they allow to stay. The other thing I loved was the staffing! So many staff there helping out to take the doggos, feed them, play with them & they seemed like all very genuine folks (not just there doing a job for the $). Pleasant experience checking in, the lady wanted to learn more about our pups quirks so they could cater. And likewise on checkout, they knew we had a long drive back to Mackay & gave us a lil ‘smoko break’ (Brekky/lunch) for all of them for the drive. They’d been bathed (I loved this as our beagles get a bit smelly lol). I also noticed the boys were quite calm during check out compared to normal, they must’ve had a lot of love & play time during their stay cause they’re usually the opposite lol. Overall, would absolutely bring the boys back here when we’re up that way, I just wish they were closer!!! Would use all the time. Pic of them chilled in the car on our drive home. I have left my two doggies there several times now.My dogs come back to me , clean happy and relaxed every time. Staff are friendly, requests are generally able to be fulfilled. It's complete peace of mind for me being able to go on vacation and KNOW my dogs are in a safe secure location, are being well looked after and happy. Thoroughly recommend Kuranda Pet Resort to anyone needing accommodation for your pet....

This facility just wasn’t for me or my dog unfortunately. I’m not a fan at all of dogs in cages with concrete floors. They do have ability to also spend time in their own little yards but not able to socialise with other dogs!? Picked up our boy after a few hours instead of leaving him for 2 nights. Just not what we or our dog likes Lady was very pleasant though who we dealt with on pickup and drop off

Our dog stayed there a while ago and when we picked him up his blanket was in another dogs cage and covered in piss, we had to throw it. Our dogs behaviour has changed significantly since staying there for 4 nights. I would not recommend leaving your dog here

They went above and beyond to accommodate our six dog's, very responsive with every phone call and happy to fill us in on how they were keeping during their month long stay. Very knowledgeable and understanding. Could tell us the difference in characters with our dog's so we knew the time was taken hands on with them. So pleased with the care and attention given. Our cat was well looked after by the staff. Price was good for the near 3 weeks he was in their care. Happily use doberling again in future.

If you have a pet or know someone with a pet, please read this post. My dog Odin passed away while we were up on the tablelands recently and it was arranged for him to be cremated at Doberling boarding kennels and catery in Mareba, who according to thier website "provide a sensitive and caring cremation service". This is how i got to say goodbye to him. Once we arrived there was no one to meet us, then when a staff member arrived my brother and i were told to carry Odin inside a shed. Odin weighed 65 kilograms and there was no where to put him down other than the chute for the kiln. The chute was way to small to put him on and we were left holding him while the staff tried to work something out. The opening of the kiln was also to small for Odin to pass through and we were told to "just shove him through". Once Odin was inside he wasn't far enough in and we were again told to "just shove him in a bit further". At this point we were both feeling physically sick and were drywreching when the staff member closed up the kiln and walked away wiping thier hands as though they had just disposed of some garbage. We were then told his ashes would be ready within 2 days, but were not able to collect them until 5 days later. After the traumatic experience of losing Odin the experience at Doberling was brutal, disrespectful and distressing. I would hate anyone else to have to go through such a traumatic experience. If i could give them 0 stars i would.

The kennels were very clean and had plenty of indoor and outdoor areas for my dog. I felt comforted being able to go away and know my dog was being looked after

Staff where lovery and my furball was well looked after. I will use theses guys regularly to keep my pet in when is needed
