I couldn't recommend Doggy Chums enough! Damien is highly personable and totally tailors his services to your individual needs. In the space of 3 months we went from our dog being reactive to other dogs and having no confidence, to walking him off lead at the park daily and feeling so fulfilled. We are in a much happier place now and certainly couldn't have got here without Damien's help, forever grateful! He continues to provide support as we resocialise our dog now.
We asked Damien to look after Bea, our 3 year old Labrador, by house sitting in our house, whilst we were on holiday three times this year. Bea didn't even notice we were gone, and Damien gave her five star affection and care - as he did with our house. We are more than happy to recommend Damien as our dog and house sitter
We have been using DoggyChums for about 8 months before we moved out of the UK. And I must say that I cannot recommend them enough. Damien has been an absolute star while looking after our Miyu (Miniature American Eskimo). Miyu is not the easiest and although socialised a lot, he‘s not really friends with other dogs at first sight. He (our dog) likes to voice his opinion and can put a slightly aggressive behaviour to the situation when in contact with other dogs who he may see as a threat. Luckily Damien is a dog whisperer. He took his time to get to know Miyu‘s character and temper, which has put us at ease and let us trust that our dog is being handled adequately. On a side note, communication has been 5 stars too. Damien is very responsive in general and we have been kept updated about the good (mostly displayed on DoggyChums Instagram) as well as the bad, any misdemeanour that needed reporting. All in all with DoggyChums we‘ve found a very reliable dog walking / boarding service which has kept us, and last but not least, the dog happy.
My dog absolutely adores Damien and can't wait to see him, sitting by the door when he's about to arrice. They have a great bond and Damien is very kind, patient, and fun. Can't recommend him enough!
We’ve been using Damien for 6 months now and are so pleased we found him. Our working cocker gets so excited when he arrives and loves their walks together. Our dog has gone through a few phases of anxious reactivity in certain situations but Damien was brilliant with him during these periods, he worked hard to understand him, build his confidence and he is now back to his carefree happy self. He may go through a similar phase in the future but it’s very reassuring knowing that Damien will be patient and persevere with him if he does. Thank you Damien.
To say our large, mischievous, goon-like beagle is a handful would be an understatement. We have gone through several dog walkers and doggy day cares over the past couple of months and have always felt like he wasn’t understood or they didn’t appreciate his loving, naughty personality. Then along came Damien. Upon first meeting Damien we knew our goon was in good hands. Damien’s calm, level-headed, patient demeanour has been an absolute godsend. Our dog loves going on adventures with Damien and comes home completely wiped. There is not enough that can be said about how safe, secure, and worry free we feel with Damien looking after our dog. He truly is one of a kind, and we would highly recommend him.
We have been with ‘Doggy Chums’ for about 2 years now. Damien has walked and cared for our beagle since he was 6 months old and genuinely loves our dog like his own. He will go out of his way to accommodate us. Reliable, kind and best dog walker in town. Would recommend to any dog lover in need of someone to run their pup!
Doggy Chums was a godsend for us. Our nervous rescue dog had been through two dog walkers in about 7 months and we despaired of finding a happy solution. Fortunately Damien speaks fluent dog and just got her. He took his time to get to know her and recognise the signs of nervousness. He keeps her calm as possible and has introduced her to some lovely friends with whom she loves to run. More than that, he is reliable, helpful and funny. What's not to like?
What can I say Damien has been fantastic with my Stan. He is a very nervous dog especially around busy areas and needs patience. I needed someone after my surgery to walk him and be understanding. Damien was great will definately recommend him.
I have been using Doggy Chums for about 7 months and am delighted with the care and love that is showered on my dog. Damien is reliable and has not missed a day of care which for a working dog owner is important. My dog loves her doggy daycare and comes home exhausted each day which shows how much fun she has! 1000% recommend Doggy Chums as does my dog.
My dog, Honey, has been going to Wag Club since she was 12 (?) weeks old, she is now 8 1/2 yrs old. She goes every Friday. As I was home with my children, I needed a day off from child/dogcare. It has been perfect for her. The staff at Muswell Hill are wonderful. Honey is raring to go in as soon as I stop the car. I don't know what they do with her but she is shattered by the time she gets home! Even though I have moved away, I still use Wag Club every Friday. It makes my dog happy and me secure in the knowledge that she is being looked after well. Kamla & Honey
They have been looking after my border collie since he was a pup - he is now 9 years old. They have always provided a great service and I have always felt that Dash was in very good and secure hands.
Ross and Ria always go the extra mile. We have had a very tough couple of years but they always show such kindness and take care of Teddy, always with a smile and sense of humour. Thank you.
I simply love the WAG Club in Muswell Hill! My pooch has been a loyal customer since they opened and he loves going to day-care to play with all his puppy pals. The team are always welcoming, and most importantly happy to see Rocky when he arrives. It's really clear that the dogs' wellbeing and comfort is their number one priority. When I drop him in for the day I feel happy and reassured that he will have fun, and most importantly be looked after vigilantly. It's great that they will feed, walk and water him so that after a hard days work, when I collect him, all that's left for me to do is enjoy his company and some snuggle time! Thanks to Jamie and his team for all the excellent work they do - can't recommend them highly enough!!
Jamie and the team are fantastic and will care and love your dog as much as you do. My dog has been going there, since she was a 16 weeks old puppy and she loves it. She gets to hang out with her dog friends, which really helped socialise her as a puppy. She absolutely loves the team too and will try and drag me in, if we walk past, just to say hello. I cannot recommend them highly enough, its hard to find someone you can really trust to care for your dog.
Jamie and his excellent team at The Wag Club take brilliant care of our pup five days a week and we couldn't be happier with their service. They are so accommodating (especially with our frequent last-minute changes of plans... sorry guys!) and we often use the daycare service as well as the daily walk. We had never used a dog walking service before but Jamie was very reassuring and thoroughly walked us through the various ways they make sure your home and your pet is safe. Everyone is always so polite and friendly and you really get the sense they are all just dog lovers delighted to be working with dogs! I couldn't recommend them enough.
This is a review for the groomer attached, Monsters and Co. We moved from the area last year and it’s taken us this long to find a groomer to fill the shoes of the amazing team at Monsters and Co. Wish we could leave them a review! Not only do they groom BEAUTIFULLY and with fidelity to the needs of each individual breed, the wonderful groomers are soooo kind and loving to all the puppy clients.
My puppy has been going to the wag club in Muswell Hill for a couple of months and she absolutely loves it. The team are brilliant, they really care about the dogs, and make the logistics of London dog ownership stress free - you can tell they want both dog and owner to be happy, and are very understanding about any late change of plans because of busy London lives. Thanks so much!
Been taking my dog to The Wag Club for 3 years now. He loves it! Always wags his tail when we arrive and always excited to see the team! Jamie and the team are genuine dog people and my dog is properly cared for during the day. I highly recommend them!
Fantastic staff, very knowledgeable and our dog always comes back so happy she doesn't want to go home! They've been great at advising us about her, as they have good experience and able to notice things and behaviours we might not when we're at home. I'm delighted. My dog is ecstatic. What more could we want?
