Muddy Paws has been awesome! Claire is great to work with, and my dog is always exhausted and happy after a walk/run with her. Whether it's dog walking, housesitting or more, I would not hesitate to recommend Muddy Paws!

Another trip out of town (December, 2018) - 5 days again. I've used Laura double-digit times now over the past couple years, and it's always a 5-star experience. Once again my Lab-Rottie mix "Coral" - this time with her new 'little sister', the 4-pound Papillon "Jazzie" - became part of Laura's home. Coral loves Laura, and went into the house eagerly. And when I returned, both were happy as clams and completely at home - and in love with Laura! As I've written before, Laura doesn't have a 9-5 job so she's home to do THIS job. And she does it like an owner would want it. Coral loves it, and I appreciate it!

Beyond pleased working with Jennifer A. She took such incredible care of our three Guinea pigs. I have very high standards when it comes to cage cleanliness and when I got back from a week long vacation, their cage was in better shape than when I’m the one cleaning it. She took exceptional note of all the little details, and on top of everything - when my flight was delayed, she confirmed that she could be there for them an extra day not 10 minutes after I messaged. I will absolutely be using muddy paws, and hopefully specifically Jennifer, for all my pet sitting needs in the future. Their app is seamless as was communication, and I got detailed updates and pictures every visit. 6/5 stars!

Laura is completely professional and trustworthy. She has taken care of my pups for years before moving to Eugene (I live in Austin) and was always 100% reliable. She sends texts and great photos and stays in constant communication. You can TOTALLY trust your beloved pet(s) with Muddy Paws/Laura Kesten. My pups were always calm and peaceful upon my return so I know they were given lots of Loving Care and Attention.

Laura and team are the Best! Working with Muddy Paws was a wonderful experience and very professional. We have a cat who is like our little baby and leaving her is usually a stressful experience for us. But Laura made it so easy for us to feel comforted with her followup with us while we were away. We were texted everyday and given a complete update. We highly recommend Muddy Paws to anyone and we will be using them from now on whenever we go out of town. Thanks again!

Well I called twice to get a time to watch my pup, i was gonna be in oregon at thend of werk and over the weekend, left a message and guess they did not want my business. So will not bother with them next time I am in the city there.

Laura and the wonderful pet sitters she works with are INCREDIBLE. She loves and values my dog, and I can see the care she has for all the pets she watches... she appreciates each of their individual personalities and preferences. She makes sure the animals that interact get along well with one another (doesn't allow aggressive or sick animals). She keeps them safe, feeds them according to their schedules, exercises them thoroughly. My dog always comes back from Muddy Paws tired and happy and safe, and I myself appreciate how responsive and helpful Laura is to me as well. I cannot recommend her and her group enough, for daycare and boarding and in-home care.

Laura does a great job caring for our cat! I really appreciate that she sends photos of him during visits which helps us feel at ease. She's very easy to work with and reliable and has the best price to top it off.

I recently and somewhat unexpectedly adopted a puppy from a local humane society and needed someone to spend time with her while I was at work. Emma Jaramillo graciously and enthusiastically accepted the job and she was amazing! She worked with me to make sure Hazel was happy, less stressed and successfully transitioned from the humane society into my home. Emma was patient (mostly with me) and loving as she took care of Hazel. I can't say enough good things about her and Muddy Paws.

I cannot adequately describe how happy my dog is at Laura's! She is a true animal lover and I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful person to care for my dog when I am out of town. I would give Muddy Paws more stars if possible!

Wonderful person, but has rules about getting up at 4am(no go in her eyes). Unfortunately my dog likes to dig (not a fan of diggers). Got the feeling my dog would be shoved in the back of her property with no attention or activities at all. Price was great 25.00 a day.

Mary took really great care of our Gracie. I received daily messages and pictures! We will be using her service again.

Mary took great care of our shy girl Laverne while we were on a Rogue River trip. Individual attention, walks, affordable rates, cozy room and space to roam, photo updates. Highly recommend!

Not recommended for medium & larger dogs. i had to go back & pick up my dogs halfway through their stay. Needless to say, I was not happy!

Great kennel! Our Hopper is always excited to visit the girls at Riverview and all the dogs too! Highly recommend, they put our minds at ease while on vacation or medical appts. Thank you He's Happy to be home too!!

We reserved a time to have our dog checked out by the nice people at Riverview kennel, before leaving her for daycare. They were amazingly kind and our dog fit in well. We left her for four hours as a drop in, as we were traveling through the area. Our dog had a wonderful time and it was a great experience overall. I would highly recommend Riverview kennels to anyone.

My mom had used riverview kennels for a few long weekends in the past and had a good experience. She went into the hospital and eventually end of life care. Riverview cared for her dog for 2 weeks. The staff was very insensitive to me during the worst days of my life, putting me down and mocking me. (I am not a dog owner myself) they were being well paid and presented it as a favor Or hindering them to care for her dog.

My dog Cosmo, howls with joy when he realizes he is on the road to Riverview for Doggie Day Care! He is soooo happy to see staff and to get to play with friends. He attends about 1-2x a week. He has also been boarded. I highly recommend Riverview!! They really care about all the critters in their care.

My experience with Riverview kennels is nothing short of wonderful. I have been taking Miley for daycare off and on for several months. The facility is clean, organized, and staffed by people that really care. Kimberly and Mike have done so much to improve and make the facility a truly quality place to take our precious dog. Their daughters, Emily, and Hannah are always so eager to greet and take care of their guests “our dogs “. Miley and I just finished our six week obedience training class at the facility. Jan Gordon was our amazing instructor along with her assistant Hannah. I can’t believe how much I learned from them and consequently, how much Miley learned from all of us. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to benefit from what the whole facility offer. Thank you Don

We took our puppy Mr Darcy here, and he (and the staff) seemed to have a wonderful time. There are multiple areas for dogs of all sizes, and the staff really seem to care about the dogs. We live a few hundred miles away, but when we come back, we'll definitely be taking him here again!

Prior to the new ownership this was a fantastic place to board. I do not trust strangers, no matter who they are trainer or not to take care of my dogs in a communal environment. That is asking for a traumatic and potentially permanent behavioral accident waiting to happen. It feels that this place is searching for cheaper costs at the expense of actual animal safety while toting that it is 'better' for communal boarding. I will be seeking elsewhere to board. Thank you for the years, previous ownership. I won't even waste my time at this place. It has nothing to do with my dogs passing 'evaluation' it has everything to do with actually being *actually* safe and peace of mind while I am five hours away.

Jack loves coming to day care and spending time with his friends. All the staff here is so friendly and caring. We board occasionally. Jack has been groomed, and we just finished a 6 week good manners class. Can’t say enough good things about Riverview Kennels! We’re so lucky to have them in our community.

Dougal gets so excited when we make the turn to go to Riverview Kennels. He LOVES going to daycare, and we love having a happy, tired pup in the evening. I used to dread dropping my dog off at boarding kennels, calling it puppy prison, but this is not the case at Riverview. We call it puppy camp. I feel good about leaving him in such capable hands when he can't come with us. The new owners and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful! They really do care about all the dogs. Many of the dogs have nicknames, affectionately loved on by the staff. They know who Dougal's friends are and care about putting him in with his friends. I love hearing about Dougal's new buddies. I so appreciate the genuine "Aw Dougal's here. I just love Dougal," from one of the ladies. She gets his shy personality, and she truly cared about his comfort during his stay. We're welcome to bring dog beds, blankets, comfort items, etc. from home. This warmed my heart to see how much she actually cared about his comfort. We really enjoyed the Good Manners Class with Jan from Beach Dogs Canine Consultants Force Free Training and Hannah with Riverview Kennels. Jan is a patient, gentle, kind, and fun teacher. Her energy is so upbeat, warm, friendly and encouraging. She really understands dog behavior with impressive skills and a lifetime dedicated to work in this field. Dougal even learned how to go through the agility course tunnel and tire! We are looking forward to more classes with Jan and Hannah in the future. After class, some of the dogs would get to play, and it was so neat to watch Hannah in action with all the dogs, making sure everyone is having the best time with safe supervised play. She's great! I knew that this is how it is when we're not there too. Another cool thing about Riverview is that if they know we're working on something, for example, waiting to walk through a door, they'll do it too to reinforce the good behavior. The walking trail through the woods was an unexpected treat too! This place is thoughtfully designed and fantastic! I can't say enough good things about Riverview Kennels. I highly recommend it! Your dog will love it!

A huge shout out to Riverview Kennels and Beach Dogs Training. We just completed a 6-week training class with our corgi, Hayden. Jan and her team-mate, Hannah, provided us with a fun approach to force-free dog training, with easy-to-follow demonstrations, positive ideas for certain behavior issues, and good insight to Hayden’s thought process. They gave us the tools we need for life-long training skills. We are so happy with Kimberly and Michael’s vision for Riverview Kennels, their hands-on approach, and for offering training classes. The entire staff takes the time to know each pet to provide the best care possible.

I called to inquire about prices and the lady was very rude. She said, "He needed to be up to date on shots." I said he is. She then replied with, "How do you know, do you have proof in front of you?" Super unprofessional. Claimed to not do email or fax to get his shot records. That's where I hung up..

Our dogs were well cared for at Valley View.

My pup, Opal, is a pretty skiddish, shy girl and is very attached to me. I had to travel for the holidays and we tried a few different daycare/boarding facilities beforehand to see where she’d be most comfortable for multiple days while I was gone. The staff at Lone Pine were amazing- so kind, understanding, and reassuring. Opal did better at Lone Pine for a day and an overnight stay than at other places, so I decided to board her there for my 7- day trip. I called every day while I was gone to check in on how she was doing and the staff was again, so kind and reassuring. My flight plans also changed and I called to let them know and they were easily accommodating. I picked her up and she was her happy, normal self! Typically after being boarded she’s often shaky, shedding like crazy from being stressed, doesn’t eat much while she’s there, etc. At Lone Pine she did amazingly! She ate her food, didn’t stress shed, & was her happy self after we got home. I cannot recommend Lone Pine enough!!

Highly recommend this place. My dogs are super happy every time they go and are happy when I pick them up if you’re looking for a boarding facility this is the place I want to go we drive 45 minutes just a board them at this location

The staff was nice when dropped my dogs off. The guy I picked him up from was kind of short and could tell was in a rush to leave. I was a little blindsided by them adding $25 extra for picking my dog up at 5:30pm. I called and talked about doing this multiple times with different people and was never told this. Overall I didn’t mind because my dog needed this. I am questioning the amount of exercise and attention he got though. Which was the whole point of taking him here, I had the option to leaving him home. I just wished they would have communicated the price better so I could have budgeted and not felt cheap when asking to clarify. I am not sure if I will be back sadly and we were kind of excited about this place. My trust just wasn’t earned and that’s important in this industry.

We've boarded our dogs here several times over the last few years. They always come back safe and in good condition. Kennel facilities are air conditioned to keep your pet comfortable in the summer.

We kept our dogs here for about 10 days. The price was very reasonable and they took such good care of them! The staff here is very sweet and explained everything to us, our dogs really seemed to love the staff members and to me that's a great sign! Will be using them again in the future!

This is the only place we will take our dog, Opie! He's been going here since he was 6 weeks old, he's almost 4 years old now. They truly know how to make you feel like family. Our dog is boarded here several times a year. We've been their clients for 3.5 years. They are always friendly and efficient at checking shot records and recording all her personal items. Our dog is always healthy and happy when we pick her up.

I've used Schreiber tails for boarding, training, and doggy day care. The care my dogs have received is stellar! The facilities are clean, secure, and the booking process is extremely convenient. Staff is knowledgeable and great with my enthusiastic large breed rescue. I don't trust my pets with many people but absolutely enjoy having such a great service in Winston!

We took our puppy to the puppy training classes. The trainer, Lauren Schreiber, did a great job. The classes were structured and timely. She provided examples by using the puppies in the class and provided written handouts detailing all of the training exercises to practice at home. All of the commands were covered along with other useful tips. There was puppy playtime in each class to help with socialization. I would highly recommend this class for everyone!

We love Schreiber Tails! I took my puppy there for 2 rounds of training classes which were very helpful. Then I hurt my ankle and we signed her up for daycare- what an amazing service. It was affordable and extremely helpful getting her energy out and continuing socializing her. Plus I loved getting the report cards of my pup having fun while I was at work :) Lauren and her staff are all friendly and great to work with. Highly recommended!

Our pup has such a great time at doggy daycare. She comes home so happy and exhausted from playing. The staff are all so nice and take great care of our dog. They send report cards with photos showing how much fun she's having. : )

My puppy gets so excited before we even get through the door! They take great care of him, it’s such a relief to go away and know that he’s in very capable hands. I get daily updates with pictures so I can see how much fun he’s having.

Wonderful place to take your pups! Finally we have an indoor area to take dogs that's safe to play. The owners are so nice and smart too. They do more than just indoor play. Training, boarding, daycare and just provide a warm welcoming environment.

When I chose my first fur baby as an adult, I quickly realized I was in over my head. My pup and I attended puppy classes in which we both learned a lot. Barkley attends daycare at least once a week and has been boarded while out of town. I recommend Schreiber Tails to everyone!

Our first time away from our little four-month-old kitten Max and when we returned home he was great! Everything about our experience was professional, I felt like Max was their family too. Having the option for an in-home visit was amazing, a good option for cat owners, and we will absolutely be using Schreiber Tails again!

I am so glad I found this daycare for my then 3 month old Jack Russell. She has been going here for two months now and loves it. The owners are great and really know what they’re doing. I have her in obedience class there too and she is already doing better. She seems to like going there because she gets excited when I bring her in the door. Being an only dog at home she gets to meet other dogs. And they are really reasonably priced. Great place!!!

Linda is super polite and welcoming. The setup is impressive, organized, and clean. I felt really at ease leaving my kitty here. He stayed for 12 days. They have an entire room to themselves and you have the option to have an available catio for ur kitty as well. I would definitely use Linda's services again and absolutely recommend taking your fur baby here for boarding. Seriously though, you won't regret it. 🥰

Linda and Shawn took really good care of our cat! They were very friendly and so accommodating even though I had scheduling issues. Inn is clean and the cats have their own indoor and outdoor spaces! My worries were at ease knowing that our cat is in good hands with them. Highly recommend them!

Absolutely love Linda's. Each cat has its own cat run with different level perches outside and lots more inside. Every one has a window for bad weather days. It's the only place I take my cat when I need to board him.

Very nice. Cat did well and they have catios for the cats. Kinda is a very sweet kind lady. It’s out in the country but close to north Eugene and very peaceful for the kitties with birds to watch.

Linda took wonderful care of our cats, and her love for animals shows. The facilities were spacious, with lots of safe and controlled access to the outdoors. Will gladly board our buddies here again in the future.

This place is awesome! Linda is a sweetheart and their set up is great for cats! It’s super affordable compared to other pet inns and super convenient since its close to the airport as well! Been there 4 x and will continue to !

Absolutely fantastic people and dog care! The staff is extremely kind, upbeat, and understanding. They obviously take the time to know each dog individually, and they are sensitive to each dog's needs. My 14 year-old retired Service Dog Bonnie is completely blind; and every time I go to pick her up either after a superb grooming or a stay, she is contented and peaceful. Sonya was a wonderful staff member. They all have been. The only suggestion I have is perhaps investing in a more renovated facility - they are obviously doing the best they can, but sprucing the place up a bit would make it better for the staff, as well! I will keep on coming - and I am a Service Dog trainer by profession. Great work, Lu and Rue's!!

We boarded our Aussiedoodle for one day. When I went to pick her up, in just going into the office the stench was extreme. Dog kennel are going to have this smell, but aga8n the smell was extreme. My dog only weighs 18 pounds and when I put her into the car, she reeked of the smell. I had to bathe her to get it off. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and this just might a bad day, but I don't think I would chance a return visit. Perhaps you might judge based on the smell as you walk into the office.

We went to the Oregon Sand Dunes and needed to board our dogs. Lu & Rue's took great care of our fur babies for a VERY reasonable price . Would use again and recommend to all.

We love bringing our dog here for daycare 3x a week. She gets so excited. We've only had her groomed once here with no issues. The staff are so friendly and treat each dog as if they were their own. We couldn't be happier with them!

So grateful to have this daycare in town! Their whole staff is super warm, capable, and kind. Our pup absolutely loses his mind with excitement the second we pull into the parking lot. They even encourage him with the little training cues we have been working on with him at home - totally not expected but so appreciated. The in-house grooming is great, too! Thanks, Lu & Rue’s!

I am very grateful we have Lu & Rue's in this area. My dog loves it there and gets so excited when she knows we're close. She loves to play with the other dogs plus they have a great groomer. I can't recommend them enough!

The new dog groomer, Bre is amazing at what she does. Like an artist chiseling a statue from marble, she transforms matted, dirty dogs into beautiful, photo-ready, family pets. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Best prices, best attitude, and she's totally dedicated to the animals. Bre is an absolute gem and you'd be a fool not to take your doggy to visit her.

Great place to take your pets. My 3 get all excited when we pull up to Lu & Rues. Your pets are kept in a safe friendly environment. I trust very few people around my dogs but I feel perfectly at ease with them staying there.

They take good care of our Artemis. She is a 4.6 pound dog and they keep her in a cat kennel. We love the care they give her. They do not seem bothered by us asking how she is doing everyday she is there. She is so spoiled by Douglas County Pet Lodge. We have had her there several times over the last few years. If we could give them more than five stars we would.

They have met my expectations and more when it comes to taking care of our dogs Boba and Bojack for a week. It was my first time bringing the pups to a boarding place and I was a little nervous but they were able to make the experience easier on me by sending me pictures of them almost daily. Can’t appreciate the Douglas County Pet Lodge enough ❤️

This was the first time we had Bandit stay at the Pet Lodge. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. We were sent videos of Bandit playing which showed him having a good time with other dogs. We will be taking him back in a few more weeks. I would give more that 5 stars if i could. Highly recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff. I had a change of plans last minute and they were able to accommodate my older dogs. I’m new to the area so finding a reliable place is such a relief. I’ll be back with my dogs!

We have used the boarding and daycare services at Douglas County Pet Lodge. My Pup is always happy when dropped off and enjoys her time at the Lodge. The staff obviously cares about the animals in their care and are happy to send updates while we can't be with our fur baby.

Our little dog loves the Douglas County Pet Lodge. He comes home after a kennel stay happy and not as ‘clingy’ as when he stays at other places. Andrea is friendly to the four legged guests and their people! The grounds are clean and there are plenty of furry friends every time we’ve been.

The Douglas County Pet Lodge took care of our 10 mo. Puppy for a week while we were out of town. They shared videos of her with us periodically while we were away and took such great care of her. She had no anxiety or transition problems. Just a happy puppy getting to play with new friends. I can’t recommend them enough.they’re absolutely fantastic!

Dropped my dogs off for the first time for a 2 day stay. Everyone was so nice and reassuring about their care. When I picked them up my dogs were happy and healthy, they had obviously received great care.

We have taken our 8 month old Chocolate Lab Sugar . To Douglas County Pet Lodge 3 times. And they are friendly, professional,honest,courteous,And very reasonably priced . It is a family owned business . And they take there jobs seriously. Due to a love for animals. Make no mistake . Douglas County Pet Lodge is the place to go.If you want your kids to be tended to properly while you are on vacation.

We took our Yorkie Belle here while we went on a jet boat trip. I was concerned about her as she doesn’t handle kennels well. It turned out they took extra special care of her, took pictures of her with the beautiful background from their yard as she took a walk, and she seemed very content when we picked her up. We were so happy to have such a nice place to leave her while we enjoyed the boat trip. We highly recommend Happy Hills Kennel.

Magical hilltop location! You can tell as you drive up the road to this hilltop paradise that your pups are in for a treat!!! We were very happy with our two pups 4-night stay. We received pictures, videos and had great communication while we were away. The hosts were inviting, personable and flexible. Thank you for the peace of mind while we were traveling!

Happy Hills watched my dogs for a week while I was on vacation, and my dogs came home safe, well-cared for, and happy! The owners are passionate about pet care, and familiar with a variety of dog types. My dogs are not usually good with other dogs, and so they accommodated us by walking them and giving them alone time in their dog run. I would highly recommend Happy Hills for anyone who needs either doggy day care or overnight boarding.

Wow, what can I say! We are on vacation, 650 miles from home, on a almost 3 week camping trip along the Oregon coast.....with 4 dogs 🐕 😀 Well we called on a Friday and they got them in that Saturday for doggie daycare! We really needed a break, had a nice lunch, got in some relaxing time and got refreshed. They were super nice and the dogs were happy and tired from a day of fun. Can't say enough about this kennel, they are fantastic. Only wish we had them available to us at home. We wouldn't use anyone else! Thank you Hilltop, you were a life saver for us!

This kennel is AWESOME. My 3 Cocker Spaniels did daycare for 2 days and did wonderful. The second day, they went with them and didn't even look back. So happy that I have a nice dependable place for them when I visit Gold Beach with them. They sent pictures which was a pleasant surprise.

Took Waylon here for the day while we did a jetboat tour. We very rarely leave him so I was a bit nervous. While on our tour we received pictures of our super happy boy looking like a model with the ocean background. Loved the outdoor large clean kennels and the overall vibe. We definitely recommend.

We came from out of state to enjoy Jerry’s Jet Boats, but we were a little apprehensive about leaving our dog with ‘strangers’ for the day. No worries! Ryce and Julie were wonderful to Dallas. They even sent photos of her to our phone while we were on the water! Awesome! T

We are so grateful to have cabin creek in our area! Our two pups have stayed with them twice and they have been so well taken care of! This is the first time we have ever boarded our dogs, and we have been pleasantly surprised! Our pup with separation anxiety was even excited to be there the second time! You can really tell that everyone there really takes the time to get to know you and your dogs and cares for them like their own!

I'm so happy to have Cabin Creek! Our doggie has had two overnight stays with them and is always well taken care of. He's usually a bit nervous when staying somewhere or being around other dogs, but the kennels are spacious, and Sharon doesn't mingle doggies unless requested. They are definitely our go-to kennel.

Sharon and Richard are very pleasant. Our two dogs seemed to be calm and comfortable. They do exercise them regularly outside, which is nice.
