I was able to call and get am appointment within the week for Mt 3 dogs. So grateful for that plus the groomer did a good job. With a little tweaking il have the perfect groom every time I hope. Thank you

I recently had Humble Hounds take care of my two pups while I was away on vacation, and I was super impressed! One of them is diabetic, so I was a bit nervous, but Niki was amazing! She sent lots of updates and photos, which really put me at ease. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I'll definitely be reaching out again next time I need someone to watch my dogs. Highly recommend Humble Hounds!

Niki dog sits for us and she’s great with our shy/nervous rescue dogs. Shes very patient and very good with them. She was really invested in getting to know our dogs and have them be comfortable with her. She is easy to work with and you can trust her in your home. She’s a kind person who understands what our dogs need. We highly recommend her services.

First off Niki is a literal angel. We used Niki/Humble Hounds for our wedding to care for and bring our pup Bellini to our wedding venue for photos and over night boarding. Niki was so professional, on time, and helped us to feel so comfortable from the start as this was Bellini’s first overnight without us. She was a wonderful wedding attendant and I would recommend her to anyone. She even took the time to send photo updates and create a custom wedding gift from our pup. Niki was absolutely phenomenal with watching our dog, Coco for 2 separate family vacations we had planned. Niki goes above and beyond to make sure our fur babies are well taken care of! I cannot say enough about Humble Hounds! I am so happy I was recommended to use their services. I definitely do not regret a thing! I was so hesitant at first. I am one to never ask for help. I recently went from one dog to two. Phew! Not easy but wouldn’t change it for the world. Now that I have humble hounds to help out. it has been truly helpful. To know I found someone that is trustworthy, reliable, respectful, kind, friendly and more! All great things. It is so easy to use their app! They communicate very well. Even deal with more my anxiety than the dogs. So far I have never had any issues. Thank you Niki and Madi for taking such great care of my fur babies. So far I use them for the 30 min drop in visits and quick drop in visit. Humble hounds really take the stress out of knowing the dogs are in great hands. Get to go out, eat, ect and are not alone all day. Madi and Nicki stay the whole 30 min every time and send me pictures and an update on the visit. Very respectful and friendly! . It is such a relief to know pepper and Maci are in great hands! Especially with their high energy! They even give them cuddles and talk to them which is Awesome! Niki was amazing! She took care of my 2 dogs and 3 cats while I was out of town. All my animals loved her, she took such good care of them. She was great communicating when she was on her way and always sent updates and pictures. I will definitely continue to book her for future pet care needs

Niki and Jayda at Humble Hounds are a perfect fit for me, always timely and with the energy to match my growing puppy! Although he still enjoys breaks in the shade, his ability to have productive walks has improved tremendously thanks to Jayda's dedication and encouraging demeanor. I needed a dog sitter for the week of July 4th and even though I asked about 3 weeks before, Nikki found the time to schedule me in. We have a regular dog sitter so I was hesitant to use any one else because we love her so much! Kareena was our sitter through HH and she was AMAZING! She sent reports and pictures of my sweet happy pups at every visit. She was very patient with my little guy being only 7 months old crate training but still having some accidents. I can’t say enough about HH and the comfort I felt leaving my boys after day 1. I will 100% use them again and also refer my friends to them. We left our goldendoodle puppy for the first time in Paul and Michelle’s care. The facility is beautiful and so clean. Such an awesome play park with a slide and tons of toys. Beautifully maintained park and gravel. So much fun for our pup that it seems she didn’t want to leave. They make sure your puppy has fun getting their daily exercise. The puppy adored them both too as she jumped to say goodbye. They really treat your pet like their own. Additionally, the grooming services are AMAZING. My puppy’s first haircut was beautiful 🐶❤️ and she looked like a teddy bear when we picked her up. Would highly recommend them for both the daycare and grooming services.

Michelle and Paul are the absolute sweetest. I always bring my dog here for his nail trims etc. He’s an anxious little guy, and used to have to be carried in, but he’s had so many good experiences now he walks in by himself (although still apprehensively, it’s a huge step!) This place gives me the small town community vibe that I love. Thank you for loving animals like you do! (And dealing with my parents crazy chihuahuas too lol) 😉

Michelle and Paul,the devoted dog lovers who own and run(also reside on site)the impeccable Merryall kennels, are the only ones that I trust to take such good care of my Schnauzer mix Cedric Michelle is truly an artist, her attention to detail when grooming him is a rarity to find these days Each time I pick Cedric up he looks even better than the last visit, I don't have to give any instructions, he is treated with love and care and leaves happy and relaxed,looks forward to returning,actually trotting to the entrance waiting for Michelle,or Paul,to welcome him into their facility which was recently renovated, allowing for larger play areas and kennel runs. Paul oversees most of the playtimes,actually forwarding reels of Cedric's outdoor activities, interacting using several of the plethora of toys,balls,even a doggie 'fort' that they can climb up a ramp to!(mostly he enjoys sniffing after the other residents that cohabitate under the same roof ,but do not physically maintain any sort of close proximity,saving alot of potential snafus or playground disagreements, as well as allowing each guest total one on one attention The kennels themselves are kept clean but not in a cold, sterile manner...more like home away from home The play areas are soft gravel and some grass,again, kept quite pristine lol Michelle sends me pics during the phases of his grooming process, without me asking,which is another reason I am 100% a Merryall Devotee!! Their prices are quite reasonable considering all the attention and quality of care being received Lastly, I realize that my exuberance may seem overly positive, perhaps a bit embellished....I can assure you ,it is all TRUE! Go see for yourselves It's a profound feeling of contentment when one knows their best companions are safe and happy ,truly loved, when we are separated from them,even for a short while

I dropped my two lab boys off for the first time here at Merryall Kennels to stay for a little over 2 weeks. I’m a stay at home dog mom and they have never left my side. Needless to say everything was amazing. Michelle and Paul went above and beyond. I was sent amazing videos as well as able to view them on FB. Also one of our boys needed ear drops and they were able to administer them. The suite area they stayed in was clean, and the temperature was perfect. The pricing was affordable, and we were super impressed with everything. If you are a dog mom or pet owner I totally recommend Merryall Kennels in New Milford. ❤️🐾❤️

Our mini dachshund was so well cared for when we were away and we highly recommend Animal Adventures LLC. The caring and thorough staff kept us informed daily by sending us pictures and updates. They went above and beyond to care for our pet as if she was their own! We will definitely be using their services again in the future.

Gwyn is so amazing! Reliable, trustworthy, an excellent communicator, and a true animal lover. We only hired Animal Adventures to walk our dog, but Gwyn goes above and beyond to play with the kitten as well and keeps us updated with fun pictures throughout her visit. Hiring Gwyn was the best decision we have made in regards to pet care because it brings us so much peace of mind knowing that the fur babies are being taken such good care of! I also truly appreciate that she has such a great business partner, Kristin, who is equally as amazing and even on their busiest days, I know someone will be here for my boys.

Gwyn is trustworthy, down to earth, and passionate about what she does. Leaving your new puppy is difficult but when you have someone as awesome as Gwyn to check in on them every day, it gets easier. Gwyn is flexible and communicating with her has always been easy. She is great about posting notes and photos (sometimes videos too!) after visits. Gwyn goes above and beyond to meet the needs of your pet and what she charges for her services is definitely reasonable and fair. I highly recommend her!

Gwyn is awesome! My husband and I needed to go out of town on an emergency and we had contacted Gwyn at the last minute to dog sit our Siberian Husky. She has experience with this breed so she is knowledgeable with caring for these types of dogs. She was able to accommodate us at the very last minute and our dog spent two nights with her at her place. Gwyn kept me up to date throughout the days on how Red was doing with videos and photos. I knew my dog was in great care. Now that we picked her up and she's back home, she is dog tired lol which is great for me because I needed to trim her fur around her paws and she didn't fidget much because she was so tired. And this tells me that my dog got a great amount of exercise and play time while in Gwyn's care. I highly recommend Animal Adventures!!

Gwyn is incredible!! So reliable and trustworthy and our pup LOVES when she comes to visit! She takes time with him, always updates us on each visit (with the cutest pics too!) and makes sure he gets love while we are away! Highly recommend Gwyn for your pet care needs!

Gwyn was great overall and I would use her again. She stayed with our two boys, one a pup and the other 15 yrs old. She was able to accommodate us and stay longer at a last minute request. She was neat and clean. She got our pup out to meet new puppies and spend some energy. She was awesome with communication and sharing photos and video with us. Before leaving she disinfected common areas she used, giving us comfort coming back home.

Gwyn is wonderful! She was recommend by my dog trainer. My dog is deaf and reactive on a leash and she was more than willing to step up to the challenge. She learned some of his hand signals and makes sure to reinforce his training on the walks. And where others have labeled my dog aggressive and been unwilling to work with him, Gwyn sees the sweet boy that he truly is and has not given up on him. She is also super reliable. She sends photos and a short summary after every walk. My dog is always smiling and looks happy in every photo. And if there are any issues, like my dog barking at another dog, she lets me know so that we can continue to work on his training. I am so happy and relieved that we found Gwyn.

Gwyn is amazing! My husband and I went out of town for a few days over Christmas but were reluctant leaving our 2 kittens (6 months). I contacted Gwyn, we did a meet and greet and decided she would take great care of our kitties while we were away. She did drop ins to feed, sift litter, play and love up the kitties. She sent many pics and videos each time she was taking care of them. She even went above and beyond by sweeping up loose litter and washing the cats food plates. Gwyn from Animal Advetures is the best pet sitter we’ve had. She’s great with our dogs, she’s attentive, caring, plays with them, and makes sure they’re we’ll taken care of. When one of our dogs got sick, she contacted us immediately and we were able to resolve it right away. We trust her with our dogs and in our home. It’s hard to leave your pets, but with Gwyn we know they’ll be safe and loved. We highly recommend her!

Quite simply said, Gwyn is phenomenal at what she does! It was difficult for me to leave my boys in the care of someone who was not family. With this being said, my boys took to Gwyn immediately, easing any reservation or apprehension I held. It was incredible! Gwyn, is extremely thorough, flexible, and is fantastic in her communication. I have been using The Dapper dog for about four years. My first interaction was a last minute accident we had with our puppy who got stuck in a swamp. She was covered everywhere and I mean everywhere with swamp. Her eyes were the only thing clean. After calling many groomers who all turned me down for not being a client… I called The Dapper Dog. Kathleen heard the desperation in my voice and said bring that baby girl right over and I will do what I can to help with the situation. I showed up with Piper and all the swamp included and a few hours later Piper was squeaky clean and the happiest puppy. The work that Kathleen did to make her clean everywhere and smell better was priceless. We have been going every 4/6 weeks since. Piper has also boarded there and she was not scared or lonely. The care given to the boarders is amazing and well worth knowing your baby is safe. Piper hears me on the phone with Kathleen and gets excited. We pull in her driveway and Piper can not contain her happiness. Well today we brought along her scaredy cat brother. He has been to visit a couple times. But today he got a bath!!!! He was not happy as he hates baths by anyone. However, he is wearing his bandana and showing everyone who will look!!! So that is a win!!! I love that the staff has the patience and loving compassion for all of the animals they care for. I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

I brought in my two dogs today. Our French bulldog came in for a deshedding bath and nails/ears. We told the groomer that we wanted our cocker spaniel shaved. The cocker spaniel shave is very uneven and longer than I requested. It does not look like he had a professional haircut. I also don’t think he was brushed properly after he was groomed, as he is leaving clumps of fur around the house. I sent pictures of his hair cut to the groomer and she said that she doesn’t see any uneven spots…See for yourself and beware. We will not be returning. Side note : We were told the dogs would be ready by 3:00 . I asked if it would be ok to pick them up at 5:00. I understand that there can be a fee associated with that but to want to charge the customer an additional $58.00 PER DOG for 2 hours is extreme.

Had a wonderful experience getting my pup Monty groomed here! He is a 2.5 year old corgi who can be a bit of a diva when it comes to getting his nails cut. I have had poor grooming experiences previously at other places where he’s come back looking exactly the same as before. The dapper dog was one of the best grooms he’s had - they clearly know what they’re doing and it’s obvious they love the pups! Prices were affordable & the job they do is awesome. Would definitely recommend going there.

We love the team at the Dapper Dog! They are friendly, responsive and treat our dog like he is one of their own. We have used them for boarding services for years and, from the start, have made us feel completely at ease with our sometimes skittish 3 year old pup. While he’s there, they send daily photos of him romping in the yard. He is clearly at ease and having fun. Knowing this allows us to relax and enjoy our time away. We went to the Dapper Dog in the second half of August 2021 after having an unpleasant experience with another doggy boarding house in Wilton. The gals at the Dapper Dog promised daily photos and walks for our Irish Setter, Teddy, and they did not disappoint. We got photos/videos daily and comments on how he was doing which was much appreciated. When we went to pick him up after 2 weeks, he was happy and full of energy. We will definitely be going to the Dapper Dog when we need to leave our dog again.

Where do I even begin? Kathleen and her entire staff go above and beyond for every pup! They are all talented and meticulous groomers. She not only cuts my dog, but I also used her for boarding while I am away. My dog, Teddy didn’t want to come home! She voluntarily sends updates and questions. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for anything dog related. They treat every pup like family! <3

Words can’t describe how awesome Kathleen and her staff are! They take the best care of their clients! I would recommend them all day long! My dogs always look great when I pick them up! Take your babies in for an awesome spa day!!

If I could give a zero as opposed to 1 star I would. Brought my Lab/Mix to the Dapper Dog Kennel over the Christmas Holiday's for 7 days. When I went to pick up "Scarlett" this morning I was told that she was a good dog, but was not welcomed back. Due to lack of attention she chewed up the molding on the bottom of the wall and damaged the door knob. I was told that there wouldn't be any charge, but $90.00 was added to the bottom of the invoice and on my debit card was charged another $23.17. Bottom line a total of $641.06 for a 7 day stay. I can't afford to go back to a business that has little regard for both myself and my dog.

I have been a client of Dapper Dog since 2012, using both its boarding and grooming services for my Irish setter. In my opinion, it's the best and most caring boarding and grooming establishment in New England.

Highly recommended! The staff truly loves and takes care of the animals as if they were their own. The rooms for the animals is such an amazing idea to turn what can be a frightening experience for some puppies into a cozy relaxing time for your fur baby. Spread the word!
