Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.

Great place to take your dog for day care or swim fun. I've taken my bullmastiff to day care and open swim. She lived both and came home tired and happy. Bit expensive buy you're paying for good care of your dog. I really appreciate that they screen your pet and have separation of different temperaments. Open swim in wknds is great and pretty cheap at $10 per dog. I highly recommend and will be back often. They have boarding service too, but I've never used it.

We rented the pool with some dog park friends and had a blast. The staff are very friendly and the pool was ready to have our pack of dogs rage. Some seating provided, bring a towel for yourself and wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked because the dogs will shake all over you!

The staff here is great! Our pup had an amazing day swimming here, we are planning on coming back for daycare :) (And I must say... It's so refreshing to find a place where pitbulls are treated equally!)

I took my dog, Huffy, to the Animal Den for their open swim. She had a blast! All the doggies loved the pool and I got to enjoy some wine while she played. It was a win all around! My only gripe is the admission fee is $10. The fee is reasonable but it does keep us from going as frequently as we would like!

My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!

Such nice and caring individuals! They can accommodate almost anything! Very patient and compassionate for not only the fur babies but the fur parents as well! As for my Meeko he is having the time of his life for his first time. He is literally smiling. Great decision to board him here. I would high recommend this place!

They have been taking care of my loved ones for nearly 40 years. I've never boarded my dogs anywhere else and hope I never have to. They give great care and love and my dogs have fun there. And I have peace of mind.

Was assured by owner that staff would respect and secure my home and they did not. Front door was left unlocked while walker was out with my dog and back door left unlocked and open when they left. Staff also forced my fearful dog into a harness before earning their trust, sent me a report photo of her looking extremely uncomfortable in my kitchen. I let them go after four days and would not recommend them to anyone

I have trusted the care of my furry friends to Janet and her team for 16 years now. They have been through a lot with me and my cat crew - saying hello to new furry faces and some goodbyes too. I realize as I begin to think about traveling again, that using Janet and Lucky Buddy to take care of Finn while I am away is critical to me feeling comfortable. When it comes to the pets who depend on me, I have a hard time assuming that "no news is good news", so I really love the daily photos and updates. The staff is really proactive about the pet's comfort, and I know I could count on Janet to do anything needed. That's really important to me when I am out of town and sometimes very far away.

I’ve been having Janet and her team care for my sweet dog Diamond for years. I enjoy the updates they give me via email each time they visit her and I’m away, along with a sweet photo of my dog. I can tell they are people who truly care for animals and I like when they bring attention to any concerns they’ve noticed with her. They have always been accommodating to the schedule that I have and I truly appreciate them.

In a word, amazing! I had a serious medical emergency and was hospitalized with no notice. Janet and the team stepped in the same day and took care of my pup for days until I was able to return home. Thank you Lucky Buddy Petcare!

Janet and her team are really in love with animals. I’ve petsat for friends and colleagues and the overall vibe from this small group of dedicated part-timers is an appreciation of your home and your animals’ comfort in it. They also are mindful of bro gong in packages/mail and watering plants, so bonus. Also, they include pictures and little fun reports on the pets’ “state of mind” Worth it every time.

My wife and I were impressed with their pet training expertise and professionalism, especially when our dogs became a bit of a handful! They were also willing to take care of our dogs and cats for only one day, which not all pet sitting services will do. The write-ups they left were thorough and helpful, and we'd definitely recommend them.

Takes excellent care of my dog, and cat. They write daily interactions with both pets. Both my dog and cat were very happy, and did not seem to have stressed-out in my absence. Very pleased with each time that I have utilized their service. I would not hesitate to recommend them, or use them again!!!

Our experience with Pawsitive Attention has been awesome! Jessica is our dog walker/dog lover/dog carer - and she has made my life SO much easier and our doggies love her. Getting some assistance with extra love and help for our doggies from Pawsitive Attention, is one of the best decisions my husband I have made recently. Since we have recently adopted a 3rd dog, which we are still trying to integrate with our other two dogs - things have been A LOT stressful lately trying to juggle them all seperately. Then...Jessica came a long! She is our dog whisperer and stress reliever! Our doggies look forward to her coming, they know when it is about time that she will get here and they soak up all of her love! I can come home and know that they have been walked, tired out, fed, and gone out to the bathroom. She, and Rachele, are incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, and specifically our breeds of dogs (all terriers), and have helped us immensely with educating ourselves as dog owners and how we can better address our dogs needs. I have tons of questions for Jessica about our newest doggie everytime I see her and she always takes the time to talk to me about all my questions and even brings me research and information all the time on the things that we talk about or the questions that I have. i feel like Jessica is a God send. she is amazing. Our dogs love her. She treats our doggies with so much love, as if they were her own. She is so easy going and flexible (accommodating our last minute changes in schedule more than a couple of times). She is super reliable and I absolutely trust her 100% with our doggies ( and we are definitely picky about trusting people with our doggies). She has a lot of experience working with dogs and is very confident in her abilities; it's really gives us a lot of confidence too. It's also hard to explain the whole dynamic of separating our doggies while we are trying to integrate them, etc. - but she totally gets it, understands it, talks to us about it, supports and explores the process with us, and we will likely end up calling Rachele to assist us with integrating our dogs - due to her experience with these situations. Jessica treats our dogs like family, gives them them love attention as if they were her own dogs and we couldn't be happier.

Rachel provides the highest quality pet care around! She is professional, reliable and deeply concerned with the safety and care of pets. Highly recommend!!

River dogs resort is absolutely amazing! I am a bit overly protective of my dog and I never hesitate to leave him at River dogs resort. He can tell when we’re pulling into their driveway and is immediately excited. He gets to play with lots of friendly dogs all day and I never have to worry about how he is doing. The owner, Dina, is a true dog lover and treats all the dogs as if they are her own. She is flexible and always looking out for what will be best for your dog. My dog is an 85 pound German shepherd mix who has lots of energy and he always comes home happy and tired. You should look no further if you want a place your doggo will love.

River Dogs is a home-away-from-home for our 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Emma. She is always in a good mood after we pick her up. River Dogs is considered a second home for my dogs. I have been a faithful client for over two years (2-3 days a week) and have only great things to say. River Dogs is the best! our dog loves it there and the owner is so nice and helpful and loves dogs! our flight was canceled at Christmas and rescheduled for days later after we had already dropped our dog off. River Dogs extended our kennel time so we could spend longer with family and took such good care of her. so helpful and understanding!!!!! will always go there!!!

Yep, a 5 star review for Dina and River Dog Resort! We needed a last minute fun and safe spot for our 12 yo American Foxhound and were so happy Dina had an opening for Chuck. Shortly after arriving, Chuck was adventurous and tried to escape by scaling a fence but Dina did not let that affect her ability to provide safe and loving care for his stay. Upon our return she told us what happened and figured out solutions for his next stay communicating in a professional, caring and understanding way. We are impressed and highly recommend RDR!

Our boxer Abbey LOVES going to see Miss Dina every week! Abbey always has such a fun time playing with her dog buddies. We also board our dog here a few times a year and always know she will be very well taken care of. River Dogs Resort is such a great location and we will never go anywhere else!

Dina and her staff have been taking care of our two large dogs for about 5 years now! They were always responsive and easy to do pick ups and drop offs. The pups were always well cared for, happy to go(could not wait to get taken back to play!!), and exhausted when we picked them up! We were very sad to move away because it was such a wonderful gift to have found such a caring place for our fur-babies! I recommend them without any hesitation!!!

We have always been a let's-find-a-house-sitter type family. We were in a pinch and River Dogs came to the rescue! We have ditched a house sitter completely now, as our rambunctious golden puppy loves to wrestle and play in their large yard while our small dog hangs out, snuggles and shares kisses with Dina. My experience with Victoria from Down Dog Sitting was beyond anything I could have imagined. I’ve used numerous pet sitters in the past and none compare to Victoria. I have 4 dogs, (2 Chi’s & 2 large dogs) like most people my dogs are my world. My husband and I like to travel and take small trips. One of our dogs Jaxx is extremely terrified of strangers. He runs and hides anytime someone comes to our home. Walking him on leash is torture to him. In the past pet sitters would call us and let us know Jaxx is hiding from them and unable to get him to go out side. Over the last 4 years any trip we have gone on has been filled with anxiety and stress over our special needs dog. I was recommended by a good friend Katie a couple months ago. I decided to meet with Victoria. After our first meet and greet I knew this would be a match. We decided to do a couple of drop ins leading to our week long vacation. With every drop in our dog Jaxx become a little more comfortable. She was open to trying out any new idea in order to get him comfortable with her. We just got back from our week long vacation and we were completely blown away. She took amazing care of all four of our dogs. Jaxx would come out for her every visit and play and eat. He has never willingly come out of his room for any pet sitter over the years . Our chi’s had a lot of accidents and Victoria made sure to always clean up after them. Our house was in great shape when we arrived. I’m so thankful we found Victoria. Our trip was very relaxing and felt I could finally put my phone down and not have to worry about our special dog. She also watered my plants so well that they grew inches while we were away. Thank you Victoria for taking the best care of our pups!

We have had Victoria house and pet sit for us several times and we all just love her! She mostly cares for our pit bull, Romeo and cat, Sissy, but also does a few house sitting tasks. Our dog loves her long walks and very affectionate attention. She is 100% reliable, friendly, and a great communicator. She sends us photos, videos and updates when we are away giving us reassurance our baby, our dog, is ok without us. Recently he has been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease so she has followed his new and changing treatment plan which includes medication, a special diet and monitoring. We already have her booked for future trips. I travel frequently for work now so having her at my home gives me great peace of mind. I hope to use her services for years to come!

I have a two year old Australian Cattle dog. She’s wicked smart and sweet, but also has some quirks. In order to walk or take care of her, she needs to first like and respect you. Victoria did an amazing job bonding with her and has taken excellent care of her ever since. I would highly recommend.

We recently moved to CA and my biggest concern was finding a good overnight boarding facility for our dogs. I was a little worried being that they are so new, but this place has been amazing!! We have used them a couple of times already. I love how we can bring their bedding from home so it can comfort them. It’s so clean, quiet, and the staff are kind. My border collie/blue heeler is a good judge of character and when we can back she was so excited to see one of the staff members. Made me feel like okay, if she gave their stamp of approval then we are gold! I definitely recommend!

As a dog owner, who recognizes the responsibility and dedication required to raise a well adjusted, well socialized, and confident dog, I've tried multiple doggy day cares in the Sacramento area. I realized I could not manage my dog Jack alone; he needs a lot of stimulation, is very attached to me at home and I have other things I need to do- and without the guilt. Doggy daycares range from terrible to amazing and The Bark Park stands out from the crowd. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, flexible and show genuine interest in Jack and his well being. The place is clean, professional, and well organized. They clearly spent a lot of time in developing processes, finding the right staff, and fully understand every detail that goes into running a doggy day care. Jack is always excited when we arrive, pick up/drop off is efficient, friendly, and positive. I feel really grateful to have found this place and feel valued as customer and hope to continue to be one for a long time to come. This place is definitely a 5 star facility.

We just moved to Sacramento and we are so glad we found the Bark Park. Our great dane needs to socialize a couple of times a week and we have found a great place! We have also boarded him for a night twice now and the staff took great care of our big guy. They have even given us photos and videos of him with his friends. He is happy going and happy when we pick him up. Great staff and very nice facility.

The place is nice and clean. I walked in, and the workers were giving the dogs so much love, and the dogs were not locked up. The lady at the front desk was so nice to me and my dog, her name is Taren ( I think that is how you spell her name). I will be boarding my baby there.

We're always looking for dog daycare for our about to be ten year old dog. Most places are close but not close enough and usually out of our way to get there. When I found out about this place, I was absolutely excited that this place was within walking distance from my house! They're open Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm, and 9am to 5pm on weekends (lobby closed 11:30am to 1pm all week) I'm hoping they expand the hours after business picks up. They just recently opened on February 10th, so they're really new. We were given a tour of the place and got to meet the handler who was watching our dog in daycare. I especially appreciated the behavioral sheet that they asked me to fill out (and won't let me leave without filing it out after drop off) to ensure they get to know him better. Trial day for daycare was free and today, we're off to drop our dog for the second time and also purchase a 10 pack! Oh, and they gave us report card and goodie bag at pick up. Welcome to East Sac, Bark Park!

My husband and I are SO glad we found this daycare! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the facility is kept very clean. I love that they have indoor turf too!

Monique is fantastic! I actually found her through Reddit for recommendations from locals. I just moved here from GA so I was worried about leaving my cat Apple because my job requires a lot of travelling. I messaged Monique and we scheduled a meet and greet. Monique came by my apartment where she got the chance to meet Apple. She asked a lot of questions to be thorough of Apple's needs. And this meet and greet gave Apple a chance to see how Monique and I interacted. The meet and greet went well. While I was gone, I received daily pictures and updates about Apple from Monique. It's so reassuring when she sends these updates!

My daughter referred me to Monique when I moved to Sacramento about a year ago and I have utilized her services consistently :) She provides very individualized , caring and attentive care to my 2 cats and tortoise. I can travel stress free, knowing my pets are well taken care of. Monique is a gem!!

We couldn’t be happier with Monique’s diligent care of our kitty, Echo, while we were away! She sent updates and photos every day, and was always easy to reach in case we had any concerns or schedule changes. Monique is incredibly well-organised, attentive, friendly, and responsive, and fulfilled all Echo’s needs, and then some. We can’t imagine going to anyone else for the care of our beloved pet. We have used Monique multiple times to watch our 4 cats, 2 requiring daily medications. Monique is diligent in ensuring she knows everything she needs to know about your pets to provide the best care possible. We felt at ease while we were gone knowing that they were in excellent hands, and we appreciated the updates we received when she would visit.

Our dog is like our child and I was worried about getting good care for him. She came over and made us and our dog feel comfortable right away. Our dog is leery around strangers but when we returned from our trip and Monique came by to drop off our key, our dog was so excited to see her! Monique was absolutely fantastic. We had her watch our cat while we were out of town. Prior to doing that, she set up a time to come to the house and meet her and discuss the care. Highly recommend using Furever Pals Pet Service for all of your pet visits and walks. I have a 17 year old pup, Ellie, and Monique has been nothing but the best to her. It takes Ellie a while to get going and Monique is so patient with her. I love getting picture updates and a review of how she did when Monique takes her for her mid day walk.
