Our doggies absolutely love staying with Pacha Dog Care! Whenever we travel or need daycare, we know they will be in excellent hands, which gives us peace of mind (and I can be kind of a helicopter parent, so it’s not easy for me to trust just anyone to care for my babies!) Claire always sends us several endearing photos and descriptions of highlights from their day, which means a lot when we’re far from home. They always get to do something active and engaging, and we love that they get to interact with Moose and occasionally other dogs, but it’s not an overwhelming dog boarding environment. One of our dogs can be pretty anxious and reactive, but whenever we pick her up from Pacha Dog Care she is noticeably less reactive and more confident. We live in the neighborhood and whenever we’re nearby, our dogs try to pull us towards Pacha Dog Care; that’s how much they love staying with Claire!

I feel very lucky every time I book a doggy vacation with Claire at Pacha Dog Care. She always takes excellent care of my dog who has separation anxiety and other medical issues. Claire sends photos (see attached) and provides updates on a regular basis. When I can’t be with my dog, I have peace of mind when she’s with Claire. I wholeheartedly recommend Pacha Dog Care to anyone who wants their dog to have a positive boarding experience.

Claire is an incredible care-giver - she's flexible, offers personalized services, and has been an amazing resource since we got our puppy. I love that my dog gets to be comfortable in her home, not in a kennel environment. Our dog loves going to Pacha Dog for daycare, training, and extended stays when we are away. Not only does he enjoy his doggy vacation, complete with daily adventures, but with Claire's training services, my dog comes home better behaved. She only uses positive reinforcement and has been so patient with teaching me and the dog real life skills (crate training, loose leash walking, door manners, etc).

We have boarded our 3 y/o goldendoodle with Pacha Dog Care many times and always have a great experience. It gives me a lot of peace of mind, especially on longer trips, to know he is being well cared for in an at-home environment. Claire sends the best photo updates and makes sure he gets plenty of exercise. I know our dog loves it there because he runs right up to the door whenever we arrive. Recently, our dog developed some health complications, but thankfully Claire had no concerns caring for him and shared she has experience in caring for dog's with his condition. We would not have had the same experience at a larger doggy daycare business - grateful for Pacha Dog Care!

Claire and Eli are true gems. The absolute best sitters and surrogate family my pup and I have ever had. They are kind and patient with the pups, and truly treat them as part of their pack. My dog runs back into their house away from me every time I pick him up because he loves being with them so much. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I highly recommend Pacha Dog Care! Claire cared for our 4-year-old dog, Finn, when we traveled for a long weekend, and treated him like a family member. Claire is a fantastic communicator and sent us regular updates on all the fun things she was doing with Finn. She is a knowledgeable and skilled dog trainer and did things like carefully introducing her own dog to Finn to promote positive social interactions. I enjoyed learning that Claire grew up working with horses - she clearly has a lifelong passion for working with animals. Pacha will be our first choice for our future dog-watching needs!

Claire and Pacha Dog Care are fantastic. Claire has been a consistent walker and boarder for my almost 2 year old Cavapoo pup for almost a year now and we're so lucky to have found her. Claire is kind, responsive, responsible, flexible and best of all, my dog loves her (and her adorable dog, Moose). It's an added bonus that my dog gets companionship of both Claire and Moose during her overnight stays. Claire is very active and does a wonderful job of providing exercise and outdoor and indoor stimulation, fun and affection. Claire provides regular updates via text on how my dog is doing during her boarding stays; I'm always happy and relieved to know my pup is happy and well cared for. Claire also provides training, which is an added bonus. We'll be using Claire for dog care for years to come!

We are so happy to have found Pacha in our area. We recently boarded our senior dog with Claire, and were so happy to see the amount of care and love she showed our four-legged family member. For a little extra, she even provided behavior training during the boarding period. Claire was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay and shared heart-warming pictures each evening -- we couldn't have asked for more.

Jim and Benny are like family to us. I wouldn't have been able to have raised this pup (Robbie) without them. From the very beginning they invested in his well-being and social, physical, and mental growth. He learned to swim at their cabin in the Russian River Valley and made lifelong friends at Alamo that I'm sure he misses quite a bit now that we've moved out of San Francisco. It's really challenging finding a place for pups to interact in a safe and fun environment, especially off-leash. Robbie is one of the most friendly and well-behaved pups in our neighborhood, which we owe in large part to Jim, Benny, and Tom for caring for him day after day while we were working. The Sniff San Francisco team are truly my partners when it comes to taking care of my 2+ year-old Cavapoo, Lola. She joined the Sniff "puppy head start" program at 10 weeks, and has been walking, playing and boarding with Jim and Benny, and their excellent, attentive and loving team ever since. During her time in puppy head start, the Sniff team got Lola used to the sights and sounds of the city, exposed her to plenty of people and dogs, and taught her foundational commands, which they continue to practice with her. They have been especially thoughtful in their approach to getting her to play with the other dogs in her pack since she can be a bit reserved. The entire Sniff team has been so loving and sweet to Lola, from her longtime walkers, Sabrina and Devin, to newer pals like Tom and Eleanor. Jim, Benny, and team are knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to understanding Lola, making her feel safe, and making sure she is safe. Finally, Jim, Benny and team are excellent and diligent communicators. I appreciate their updates and informative texts. The photos and videos they share of Lola zooming, playing with other dogs (or Sabrina's hands), or being serenaded by Jim always make my day. I highly recommend working with the Sniff SF team. They are THE BEST!

There are no better dog walkers in San Francisco. I've been with Jim and Benny since very early on, and they have just been wonderful to my dog. My dog is a little over 12 years old, and he is in phenomenal shape, due almost entirely to the attention of Sniff. He has little to no arthritis, his eyes are great, and just recently I completed a hike of the Lost Coast with him in two days, which is a 25 mile beach hike. That's insane. He is also more people oriented than dog oriented, and needed some behavior modification for being a jerk to other dogs in the beginning, and Sniff were able to quickly iron it out and make him a more tolerant member of the pack. They also made him an incredible leash walker. He wasn't terrible to start with, but he wasn't good. He is such a cordial leash walker now. I miss them. We moved to Spain, which is exciting and wonderful, but I always knew that my dog was getting a huge amount of exercise and attention while I was at work in SF when Sniff came by. It'll be hard to measure up out here. Like everyone else, I'm so glad I found them.

We can't say enough amazing things about Sniff. Roo has been part of their pack for a year and a half and we've been so impressed by the level of care. Not only does she have a great time and get in a ton of exercise (as we get to watch every day on Sniff's IG Stories), but we've also seen so much behavioral improvement thanks to the Sniff team's dedicated training. They genuinely love and care for each dog, and have been an amazing support system - they went above and beyond when Roo was experiencing some scary health issues. We take so much comfort in knowing that Roo is in amazing hands whether it's during her weekday walks or boarding at Chez Sniff while we're out of town. Thank you to Benny, Jim, Dan, Ben and the whole Sniff crew!

I highly recommend Sniff–my dog and I love them. My dog is picked up by his regular dog walker 5 days a week and walked to a park where he plays with similarly sized dogs in his play group, and then walked home. So, no car pick ups where the dogs might fight, and no risk of carjacking with precious cargo inside. Jim and Benny are the owners of the business and they are the kindest, nicest people, plus, they love dogs! They are extremely careful about who they hire to help handle the dogs, and treat their employees with respect (the staff receive paid time off and benefits.) I receive a daily report re my dog’s play session–who he played with, his mood and activity level, how his potty was, and any behavioral issues. The Sniff team posts adorable daily Instagram videos of the dogs at play, which always make me smile. My dog started off in Sniff’s “puppy prep” program, where Jim and/or Benny have one on one time with the puppy, training the dog leash manners and recall, and exposing the puppy to all sorts of city distractions–Muni, trucks, other dogs, toddlers, skateboarders and strangers. My dog has learned important dog skills through Sniff–how to meet and greet other dogs, how to indicate willingness and unwillingness to play, and rock solid recall. When my dog was two years old, he started being leash reactive, and Jim took us on a walk to show me how to make my dog less fearful. When I travel, I know I can board my dog with Jim and Benny, and he will be a happy pup. The most important thing is that I know my dog is loved and well cared for when he is with Sniff.

We have nothing but great things to say about the team at Sniff. Jim & Benny (the owners) were great from the get-go. We needed walkers for our mini dachshund, Juna, and searched high & low for a team that would provide the utmost level of care for our dog - who doesn't want that for their fur child?!? They were extremely responsive from the beginning: asking a lot of questions during the initial meet & greet and showed a high level of engagement in Juna. They went beyond just being dog walkers and worked with her (and us) to work through some of her anxieties to make her a much more confident and happy dog overall. One of the team members, Ben, was often the one to pick Juna up and whenever he would come and we were home, it was clear how much Juna would light up at the sight of him and say "C'YA DADS!! Time to go have fun with my friends!". Ben, along with the whole team, sent detailed updates of the adventures every day, with pick up and drop off notifications in addition to fun notes about the play session for the day. Sidenote - they go around and pick up all dogs on foot, walk them to a dog park where they meet up with the other team members, and then let all dogs in their pack interact and play with each other and the Sniff team members, and then walk them back home. And they do that for two groups a day. They must walk a million miles everyday - I don't know how they do it!! The nice thing is it's the best of both worlds - your dog gets an on leash walk, along with group socialization at the park. Jim & Benny also boarded Juna and would sent great updates but we were so comfortable it was like leaving her with family. They would take her on adventures to the beach, even I was jealous! They also helped us out a few times we were in a pinch for care - such as taking her for the whole day when she needed to be out of our home for service folks, etc - and were very accommodating in that regard. I could go on and on about how great they are. Unfortunately, we moved to an area of the city where they can't service; I guess they can only walk so far in a day ;) All jokes aside, we were very sad to have to leave them behind as Juna's caretakers, but very highly recommend them to anyone needing dog walking services.

We could not recommend Sniff SF enough! They treat our dog as if she is their own. Every day we receive a friendly, thoughtful and detailed review of how her day went at "school". The entire team has been instrumental in training our puppy to be the happiest and well mannered dog we could ask for. Every morning she waits by the door for her pickup and returns home tired and happy. We can see exactly where she is in real time with their Instagram updates and we love watching her play every day. We've left our dog to board with Jim and Benny at their home on many occasions and never have to worry about how she's doing. They send regular updates with pictures and video to show us all of the fun activities she's doing while we're away. They've taken her swimming, hiking and even on vacation with them. We've started to think our dog enjoys staying with them more than with us! Sniff SF has become part of our family and we don't know what we would do without them. If you're looking for a dog walker, they are the best!!

We love Sniff! They were a second family for our dog, Figg, for the past 3 years and treated her like one of their own. This was true for every single walker that took her to the park (shoutout to Sabrina, Melissa, True, and Eleanor) and with Jim and Benny, who boarded her over long weekends. The Sniff folks go above and beyond, catering the daily sessions to each dog’s needs. Most days they would encourage Figg to play with all her pals; but when she was feeling overwhelmed, they would spend the session cuddling and showering her with love. We have never seen her more excited to see other humans, than when she sees a Sniff walker or Jim and Benny in “the wild”. On top of the daily outings, weekend stays with Sniff were a vacation—they took her to the beach or hiking every day and even bathed her before bringing her home. Lastly, when we started struggling with leash reactivity, Jim, Benny, and Sabrina immediately jumped on the phone with us and set up a training session. Sniff played a pivotal role in raising our pup to be such an affectionate and sweet gal. Plus, never having to worry while we were away was a godsend. We moved out of their service area, otherwise we never would have left the Sniff family!

I have had a wonderful experience working with all members of the Sniff team who have provided outstanding care for my one year old golden retriever, Frankie since I got him at three months old. The level of care, detail, and expertise of their services is unmatched! I highly recommend for dogs of any age and as to the substantial training and guidance I received for puppy care. They are wonderful people who love each of their pups!

We would give Jim, Benny, and the entire Sniff Team a million stars if we could. Our extremely active mini poodle has been with Sniff since he was 4 months old, and Sniff has been a total godsend--from walks, to last-minute dog-sitting, to the most luxurious boarding experience (truly "the happiest place on Earth" for our dog). We have been so impressed by the Sniff team's professionalism, customer service, and--above all--the way they always put our dog's health and safety first. Jim and Benny are incredibly knowledgeable about dog behavior and require their walkers to identify and help dogs through problematic behaviors. We have had several different walkers, and they've all been great because Jim and Benny hold their team to very high standards. The Sniff team has gone above and beyond to spend time teaching us critical strategies for improving our dog's recall and tackling his leash reactivity. Jim even came over to show us how to build our dog's confidence on walks so he didn't become reactive. The Sniff model is truly a unique service. We love that our dog gets an amazing workout each weekday to-and-from and at the park and is so well socialized to other dogs, humans, and all sorts of urban conditions. We get detailed daily updates and tons of videos/photos. We feel completely at ease that our dog is with his absolute favorite humans when we are away, whether for half a day or two weeks--this is especially so because our dog is an insanely picky eater, and Sniff is simply a pro about following his diet and being so incredibly patient in coaxing him to eat. On our first long vacation, our dog also got very sick, and Sniff took him to our vet. On weekends, Sniff always takes the dogs out for a fun activity (hiking, beach, river). If you go with Sniff, the only thing you might regret is that they become your dog's favorite humans.

Diego is the most incredible caretaker and trainer. He is so thoughtful, kind, consistent, and patient with our dog and we are so grateful. Our dog is always so excited to see him and comes out more well behaved than he came in. THANK YOU Diego for investing so much of yourself into watching our dogs. We are very comfortable leaving our dog at Embarkadero because of you and we would not keep coming back without you!

I love this place, was so lucky to find them when I did. I have boarded my mini dachshund here for one to two nights or he has stayed for up to one week during the past couple of months and he has so much fun. They even have an instagram where they mass post each day so you can see them all play/hang out together. The owner, Diego, is very sweet and caring. He stays with the pups every night and the rest of their team is so helpful and nice! I highly recommend this place you are looking for a safe place to keep your pup! They even have daycare from 7am to 7pm which makes it so easy for drop off/pick up with work hours.

My dog has been to boarding here three times now and gone for daycare plenty more. Everyone at Embarkadero takes such great care of her, and they have been beyond understanding even when my schedule turns chaotic. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Bonnie and Diego are amazing! I decided to board my dog here after our usual boarding space was full. I am SO glad we decided to choose Embarkadero Social Club and will continue to board him here going forward. The dogs go to the bathroom in the outdoor area on grass etc., instead of going indoors - this is so important for ensuring no bad behaviors are picked up during the boarding time and also help make sure my dog isn't smelling and looking like a stray dog when he comes home. I instantly noticed a HUGE difference in behaviors / training when my dog came home from Embarkadero Social Club.

Our mini Goldendoodle Dug stayed here during the holidays. He’s an affectionate pup who needs lots of human love, and the team at Embarkadero did such a great job taking care of him. It was great seeing him in the Instagram feed! He got a bath upon leaving and came home smelling great and as fluffy as a cloud ☺️

I always feel so safe dropping my little guy off to daycare here - he forgets about his separation anxiety and just has fun playing with the pups and awesome staff at Embarkadero. I have been taking my 7th month old once or twice per week to Embarkadero since she was about 12 weeks. I absolutely credit the supervised interactions she's had at day care for how wonderful she is with all other dogs. She is always so excited to get there and tuckered out when she gets home. Never once have I picked her up to find her injured in any way. Every staff member I've encountered is friendly and seems legitimately happy to be there. I have not yet used boarding services, but I will consider Embarkadero first when the time comes. Thanks, Embarkadero, for taking such good care of Mavis!

Our pup goes to Embarkadero for day care pretty regularly and occasionally for boarding. We have a had a great experience with drop offs and pick ups and Waffle is always so excited to go there and hang out for the day, and comes back home happy and tired! All the staff, in particular Bonnie and Diego are super friendly, and the place feels very clean - I have seen Diego washing the floors and everything many times when I was picking up the pup later in the day, and unlike some other day care facilities, Waffle doesn't smell bad when we pick her up at the end of the day.

Diego is absolutely wonderful to work with. In the 1.5 years I’ve had my 3 year old rescue dog, this is the first time I’ve placed my dog in day care for consecutive days. My dog was here for 10 days straight, all day (8am -5pm). I am thrilled with how well they took care of my baby/dog. The place is clean and the staff are super friendly. ❤️🙏

We left our dog with Thalia whilst we were travelling abroad. It was a first for us and we were very anxious. Thalia made us feel at ease since the very beginning by meeting us in prior to our trip and offering a trial with her. She is very sweet, knowledgeable and extremely reliable. Communication was extremely important to us and she provided daily updates and access to video streaming which made us feel good. You can tell she cares about dogs and take good care of them. Plus her yard was a big +, our dog loved it. We will definitely have her watch our pup again! Great experience all around and our dog looked very happy !!!! Thank you so much

Thalia was amazing! We had a meet-and-greet at the Dog Daycare that she works at and our dog got a spend a trial day there to see if they were a good fit. During our 10 day vacation, we were given access to live video streams and sent updates via text message. The thing I liked most about Thalia is that dogs that stay with her get to go to her workplace during the weekdays and they get socialized and play time with the other dogs there at no additional charge!

My dog loves his time with Thalia. Thalia is loving, patient, and knowledgeable about all things related to dogs. She is trusted to take care of our fur baby when we are out of town.

Rocky always gets so excited when we are on our way to Thalia’s! He loves her and the one-on-one love and snuggles he gets when we are out of town. Not to mention the great socializing and play time with his friends. We always know he is in great care, happy and comfortable!

My baby has major seperation anxiety 😫. But loves going here. He plays all day and is really happy. They check in send pics all day. They really take great care. Report any concerns and keep in great touch. I've never had doggie day care experience this is a first and they set bar high. Only downfall is my dog won't poop in doors and there is no outdoor area. But that's a personal issue haha 😄 Highly recommend them

This place is AMAZING! We loved bringing our Rocky here, we knew he was going to be safe and very well cared for. They clearly love and pay attention to the dogs in their care. Rocky was always so happy to go play with his furriends and loved his carers so much. Sadly we had to move to another county, but I'll definitely bring Rocky back if we need to be in the area. Thank you to everyone, Rocky loves and misses you!

They accommodated Luna on a very short notice while we were visiting San Francisco. They squeezed us in for an evaluation and she got to spend a great day at their care! We got lots of Instagram updates throughout the day. We will definitely bring her back next time!

This is our first time taking our girl to a doggie daycare and she was a little dubious initially, mostly due to her not being well socialized with other dogs and her anxiety over being left in a strange place without her people. After a few visits she has really come out of her shell and absolutely loves going here now! She loves Leon and plays the entire time she is there. I bring home a very happy and tired dog at the end of the day. We get lots of feedback about her visits and Leon is very responsive with communication. We've also used the shuttle service, which is super convenient and appreciated, as our work hours are outside of their business hours. We highly recommend this place for dog care. So happy to have them in our neighborhood!

Valentina loves it here as she gets to play with friends and the owner looks after her as if she were his own. Sends us pictures and texts of how she is doing. Best place we’ve had her at. Trusting, well priced and a happy dog. What more can one ask for?

We've got a 14 year old doggo who still has lots of energy. When we go on vacay she gets separation anxiety so we tried to find a place that was cage free that allowed her to play the whole time - and this is the place! She was here on multiple occasions, 8 days/nights was the longest and no separation anxiety. She was too busy playing with all the dogs! Because she's older, they also paid attention to when she needed extra breaks. Would highly recommend this place :) Plus, they screen every doggo that comes in so you know all the doggos there are extra good doggos!

We have used both the boarding and daycare services and we couldn't be happier! They really love dogs and they get to play all day!

Our dog, Tilly, has been going to Bay Area Canine Club for more than 3 years for both daycare and boarding services. We trust them as an extended family to care for our dog. They treat Tilly like their own and she absolutely loves hanging out there with both dogs and humans! Staff is always attentive and accommodating for what she needs. They would adjust her outside walk schedule for rainy days or foxtail season or keep her for extra days with unexpected traveling schedule changes. We always get updates and adorable photos and videos so we know Tilly is also having a blast! Tilly has made many friends at BACC and always runs in with her tail wagging when we drop her off. She also always comes home tired and happy (And a little dirty but hey, dirty dogs are happy dogs!)

Updating this post 12/19/23: Ownership has changed, but the service has not. Sydney and team are equally as incredible and they still maintain a high-level of service and care. A+++ BACC is an incredible dog walking and boarding service. Naomi and her team are real professionals and handled my dog as if she was their own. They have also house sat my dog and I trust them 110%. When I was traveling, they'd text me photos of my dog for peace of mind. They have always been clear and quick communicating with me and have built a really solid community of owners and dogs around their business. And, they take great photos that they share instagram.

Bay Area Canine Club is not only the best dog-walking service I have ever seen (> 5 services in my dog's lifetime across several states), it is one of the best customer experiences I've ever had. If you're looking for a high-quality way for your pup to get exercise and lots of love while you're away (either at work or traveling), then BACC is for you!

This is my dog's happy place - the staff is knowledgeable and kind, and the dogs get to play in the yard and go out on daily adventures, instead of spending time in crates. He's one spoiled dog! Recommended for great pup care.

I’ve been taking my dog Kiko to Tefani & So for about 2 months now and I’m consistently impressed with the care she receives. The grooming services are fantastic, Kiko always comes home looking and smelling great, and I can tell the groomer really cares about her comfort. Kiko also loves the daily dog park trips. The staff takes her to a local park where she can run, play, and socialize with other dogs. It’s the perfect way for her to burn off energy. One of the best things for me is the shuttle service. Kiko gets picked up in the morning then dropped off in the afternoon, which really makes the entire process of sending her to daycare really effortless for me, especially if I need to work late at the office unexpectedly. Heather and Watson truly cares for the dogs like they are their own, and it shows in the way they interact with all the dogs. I highly recommend anyone that I talk to with a dog to go to Tefani & So. They treat your dog like family.

Visited SF for Thanksgiving weekend and had to drop off Figi at daycare for a museum day. Tefani & So sent pictures of her at the park and took wonderful care of her. Would definitely recommend and come back when I visit again!!

Had a sudden schedule change at work and needed a doggy daycare for my very shy 5 month old puppy. She warmed up so fast! Heather and team took great care of her and she could not be with to go back for the second day!

Very reliable doggy school for Gus to spend the days there. Professional and caring staff Gus runs off for every morning when we drop him off or when he gets picked up. Love that they offer the full chain of fantastic dog services including daycare, grooming, shuttle and boarding once Gus got admitted. We use them all and leave our heart completely at ease knowing he’s with someone he knows and we trust.

We have been bringing our dog to Stefani for a little over 3 years. Have had zero incidents so far but only good momentos to cheer whenever she is there. Luna literally grew up in this place, and she couldn't get any better care from Stefani and her professional and kind staff. We love seeing daily updates from her, which is always the highlight of our days. Even Though we are not there with Luna, we feel her happiness in the photos wholeheartedly, and more so we are certainly at peace of mind. We also feel the team here are true dog lovers with exceptional experience with dogs. She had a sensitive stomach when she was a puppy, Stefani recommended certain dog food brands she thought would work for her, along with probiotics that she had learnt through the years of experience working with so many dogs. It swept away the watery poop we had to deal with back in the days. We feel the best part is that Luna has a consistent group of furry and human friends she can hang out with on a weekly basis. We’re so glad and released that she’s grow into a social, confident and happy dog she is now. The people here in Tefani & So. dogcare played a big role in it. We appreciate them so much and would most definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for daycare, grooming and boarding services.

Fantastic place for your pup! I've left Louie here for both daycare and had him groomed here for years until it was too rough to pick up and drop him off in this part of the city. Every single time I've taken him here he's been nothing short of happy and / or beautifully groomed. Can't recommend this spot enough!

I would give 10 stars if I could for Tefani & So daycare!! Stefani and her team are wonderful and truly care about the pups. Finley gets so excited for daycare and the photo updates are the highlight of my day! As a new dog mom I was nervous to bring Finley to daycare, Stefani was so patient and kind answering all my questions. I love that they are grouped by size, have a structured day and it’s spotless! I have used the shuttle service and boarded with Stefani and Finley gives it two paws up. Thank you, we are so lucky to have you!!

I’ve been sending my dog to Tefani since he was 5 months old and as other reviews say, there is not a time I see him more happy & excited than when he goes to daycare with Stefani and her team. Stefani is incredibly kind, patient & flexible and my dog literally forgets I even exist whenever he sees her. Finally, the grooming and pick up/drop off services are unmatched — I would be so so lost without Stefani & her caring staff and cannot recommend Tefani & So enough.

Our dog adores this place! He is almost more excited to go see Stefani than he is to see his owners pick him up. I mean he goes CRAZY when he realizes he’s about to enter daycare. Stefani always sends us pics of him having a blast so we don’t have to worry how he’s doing. Fabulous grooming services, as well!

We normally board our pup at the Wag Hotel in Santa Clara but had to board our dog at the SF location because we were getting married in the city over the weekend. The SF location seemed much more friendly, clean and accommodating than our Santa Clara location. I was a little nervous boarding our pup at a new place but he did great and the staff at the front desk eased my nerves immediately with their friendly service. We dropped our pup off and gave the front desk staff way more instructions than we normally do. We needed to leave a harness with them because a dog chaperone we hired for our wedding was going to pick up our pup instead of us or a friend. They typically don't like to hold harnesses or leashes but we're so thankful that they were able to make an exception so we had one less thing to worry about for our wedding. Our pup got his bath right before our wedding just as we requested. We were sent at least four photos of our pup a day. The photos were so much better than when we board at Santa Clara. He always looks terrified and uncomfortable in the photos in Santa Clara but the SF staff took the time to take decent photos of our pup. Pick up was super easy too. All of his toys and harness were returned. I've lost toys during boarding stays before. For a power chewer, our pup's toys aren't cheap! Akash at the front desk was very prompt and friendly during our check out. We will definitely board at this location again the next time we go out of town. For those dog parents who are a little nervous about boarding their pup, know your dog will be in good hands at this Wag Hotel.

Wag hotel takes amazing care of my Bull Terrier. He is a difficult character and needs a lot of special attention. The staff is kind and compassionate and I’m so grateful for the care they provide.

We come here monthly for a grooming with Francisco, he is Amazing!!! Our doodle has fun and gets a great spa day. Front desk staff is awesome as well!

Love love love! Wag staff is the best! Been going there since it opened and would not go anywhere else! We have had 4 dogs and a cat call San Francisco Wag their other home when they board or do daycare there. We have never had an issue or concern about our pets staying there. I still have the hand written report cards that they use to do! This is the place to take your pet, hands down the best in the city!

Terrible experience with communication around grooming. We dropped our dog off at 8 AM, after being quoted an hour. At 10:30, we called to find out where she was, and nobody had any idea where she was in the grooming process. Later, we found out that no morning groomer had shown up, and the general manager decided to take care of our dog “for the inconvenience” as if we had inconvenienced them. Regardless of the fact that this is their busy weekend, there weren’t any managers around or available via phone to speak to. After trying three times to connect with a manager, I was spoken over top of by Alexandra (the desk agent who thinks she’s Veronika) who then accused me of raising my voice at her. She obviously got offended when I matched her energy to meet her where she decided to take things with her tone. This entire experience was beyond unacceptable, and not worth $20, let alone the $100 that we were charged. I would not trust this place to take care of my pet, because they seem to have lost my pet for 2 1/2 hours while trying to figure out who was going to actually provide the service that we had booked four days in advance. Spare yourself a lot of trouble and heartache and stress around when your pet will be available to you again, do not trust this incompetent rude staff. They cost me a half day in my own time of trying to pick up my dog, and you don’t know if you’ll get someone pleasant and professional like Shay or someone with a sour stank entitled attitude like Alexandra.

Been working with this hotel for several years now and they have my loyalty. All 3 of my dogs have stayed there and I always feel comfortable leaving them. The staff is very kind to dogs and knowledgeable about their care. They call for updates while you’re away. I love the app that lets you view play groups and get memories of your pets stay too.

These guys are great! I was able to get a last minute booking (the other location was fully booked). From the moment we walked in, super friendly and helpful. Once my lil guy was all checked in they took him back and from then on, I got so many “memories”. My pup needs specialized care and they really took good care of him, got pics at least twice a day and it was so great when I got a notification and his pic. They were in it and it brought me so much joy. I know he’s in good hands when I drop him off. Thank you!

I consistently bring my dog to Wag Hotel grooming salon because of Francisco, the talented groomer. He possesses exceptional skills in handling pets with care and affection. His kind demeanor and gentle approach make each grooming session a positive experience for my dog and me. He adores my dog just as much as I love him, creating a wonderful atmosphere that brings out the best in our grooming visits.

Amazing! I took my dog to Wag Hotels when I was traveling with him in San Francisco. The facility is clean, fun, and stimulating for pets. The staff is super friendly and pick up and drop off was a breeze. I loved seeing pictures of my dog throughout the day and getting to see him on the webcam was a lovely bonus. I would recommend this to everyone. I hope I have the chance to use this company in the future. Most importantly my dog was so happy and excited to return on day two.

We've been taking our large dog to Wag in San Francisco for doggy daycare for almost 3 years. He's a 100 pound gentle giant and he loves getting to play with other big dogs at Wag. They have an outdoor roof play space for when days are nice, and a large indoor play area when it's not. We also love the convenience of dropping him at all day play and booking a grooming appointment, so that we he can play, then get cleaned up, and come home happy and exhausted.

Molly and her team are wonderful, reliable, and experienced. Not only did my pup have a great time, but I got daily updates with tons of pictures. The Doggie Llama team does boarding, training, and dog walking right. When your pet is left with them you can rest assured that your pet is receiving quality care tailored to their needs and comfort. Their science-based approach to training and care sets them apart from the industry standard and sets my mind at ease knowing that my pet is receiving the highest quality of care.

EDIT: We are coming up on our five year anniversary being with Doggy Lama! Wow time has flown. We do have two new walkers that tag team, Joe (who is our primary walker) and Vero (who provides backup), but all the previous statements in my review are still valid. Joe and Vero are always communicative, respectful, and Warren can't wait to go on adventures with him and his pack. You can tell how much they each love and appreciate their dogs. ---- Our boy Warren, a border collie mix, LOVES his time with Kristen & Michael's packs. They're some of the most exceptional and trustworthy dog walkers we've had. Warren will wait up by the window for Kristen or Michael to come every morning - tail waggin a million miles an hour and whimpering from excitement. It makes me happy to see Warren get to play out on the trails, learn new skills, and socialize with his pals every day. Finding a trustworthy and professional dog walker is not easy. But Molly runs a tight ship, and the team she leads at Doggy Lama shows just how much she cares for and loves animals. Vanessa is pure gold. She has been walking my sweet husky-pit mix Margaux since she was a year old and forged an incredible bond not only with my pup, but with our whole family. We feel so comfortable with them, and often lean on their guidance and advice for taking care of our dog Rory. Our walker Jeysi feels like a member of the family. Every weekday she reliably arrives at our home, Rory runs to greet her, and off they goes with a pack of 5-7 dogs on a beautiful East Bay trail. A few hours later Rory comes home happy and tired. And then Jeysi sends us a written summary along with beautiful photos and videos from the day. It seems like such a fun pack. We're so, so grateful for Jeysi. Attaching just one pic here. Molly and her team at Doggy Lama are the best! Our dog Toby always returns from his off-leash walks with Jordan having had lots of fun with his pack buds and tuckered out. It’s been a huge relief to know Toby is getting the exercise and stimulation he needs, especially during the work week when we can’t provide that for him to this level. This team is also amazing at communication, from day-of logistics to general awareness of seasonal considerations on the trail.

My dog loves Doggy Lama! She cannot wait for them to pick her up and is always exhausted and happy when they bring her home. She has totally bonded with Vanessa and Merrigold. I appreciate their communication and professionalism. and the photos.

Everyone at Doggy Lama has been so good to my pup, Rosie, since I adopted her over a year ago. Rosie has arthritis so Dorothy takes her to the park to sniff about at her own pace or just lay in the sun. It's clear that she loves her time with Dorothy because she always comes home with a huge smile on her face! Kendrae is super communicative and responsive around scheduling, too. Kasper and I we both LOVE Doggy Lama; obviously for different reasons - Kasper loves the walks, treats and keeping his brain working while practicing recall on every walk.
