Diana is very organized, responsible, and caring. She is a great communicator and provided a daily update on our cats while we were on vacation. She took great care of our cats and we appreciated her keeping an eye on our house as well. Would highly recommend!

We love Diana almost as much as our pups do! There's no question that she puts the happiness of animals above all else, while still being professional and reliable.

Diana cared for my lovely little poodle who had a serious heart defect from birth. When we met Diana, I was unable to walk Baron but she took care of him like he was her own. After the first walk, he accepted Diana like his own litter mate. Barons condition deteriorated and Diana adjusted the walks to be perfect to his tolerance. Diana's calm and reassuring approach with Baron improved his quality of life right to the end. Baron adored her and Diana clearly cared for Baron. I would happily hire Diana again.

I used Diana's services for a couple of years. She was on time, reliable, trustworthy and professional. Diana would walk our Frenchie and our English bulldog weekly. She always tended to our cats while we were on vacation. I was very sad to see Diana move to another province, she's greatly missed and has been irreplaceable.

I would absolutely recommend Diana to anyone! She was nothing short of amazing to deal with and truly cares about your pets. She took the time to really get to know our dog Buddy and make him feel comfortable (he's reactive and takes time to warm up to strangers) and made us feel comfortable as well! :) We had no doubts about leaving him with her and could tell from her updates that he was getting the best care possible!!

I highly recommend hiring Diana! She made going away for the weekend stress-free. I will definitely hire her again.

Rob has been amazing with our pup Riley. He takes an interest in each dog, knows who they like to play with, and even if they have a best friend! It's been wonderful. We send her 3 days a week, and she has her social meter filled each day. Rob came highly recommended to us and we can see why!! Riley comes home happily, exhausted from each day. In addition to the day care, Cedar Ridge also offers a boarding service, which we have used, and let me tell you, we have such peace of mind knowing our pup is in good hands! If you are in need of either service, we highly recommend Cedar Ridge.

My dogs love day care here! They are so excited to go when I drop them off, that they sing with excitement from the minute I turn on Townsend road, then are worn out from their fun time when I pick them up. Rob takes great care of them- monitoring the dogs and maintaining their areas. It has been great for socializing our puppy too. It has been a safe and positive environment for them.

Rob and Kelly are fantastic people who truly care about every dog and person that walks through their door. I left my dog, Sonny, in Rob's care while I went out of town for a work trip (not an easy thing for me to do). Once I was sent pictures of how happy Sonny was I instantly felt better. Their new location is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!!!

Moka absolutely loves going here; so much that she starts barking in the car the minute we get onto the road because she knows exactly where she is! We never hesitate to leave her there when we are away because we know she is well looked after and having the best "vacation". Thank you!!

Rob is amazing with our golden retriever, Frankie! Their setup is fantastic with lots of space to play in, and separate areas for different energy levels. There's even a large covered area for wet days. Our dog always comes home exhausted after a good long day of playing with her friends. The dogs are well managed so we never have to worry for her safety. I highly recommend Cedar Ridge!

The staff here are amazing, they gave us new information in regards to the fact that our Samoyed is a bit of a pool hog, (btw: the breed generally will not go in the water) besides that they take excellent care of the dogs in their care, and are extremely upfront and honest about everything.

We were very happy with how they were able to accommodate us with very little notice. We called and got updated well we were away and they had no problem with us calling to see how our old grumpy gator was, and our dog was happy even when we arrived to pick her up after 4 days, she calmly went and laid back down in her favorite shady spot at the property. We really like the idea of the dogs not being kenneled all day , they are free during the day and get out in the evening as well. We will definetly use there service again and the prices are very reasonable too! We recommend.

Sierra, just spent a week at the kennel. This is the second time we used this facility. The owners were very accommodating with check in. They were detailed in the dogs well being and are super friendly. I will bring her back and appreciate the owners taking such good care of her.

My dog Josie loves to go to Zoomies. The people who are running this kennel are very good with dogs. She usually doesn’t like to go to the kennel was wagging her tail going in and coming home. She stayed overnight when we had a big event at home and that was the best decision we ever made!

Amy was super friendly and great with my Fur babies.They were happy and relaxed when I picked them up. There was a great open grassy space for them to run around in. And the kennels were clean and spacious.

Remarkable! Meet Sophie. She is about to turn 15 and likes only 2 people. Me and my youngest. Well, three now! Lauren cat-sat for me for three days last week and Sophie took to her immediately. Lauren sent me a text and videos every day and when I got home everything was so tidy! I just moved so my youngest can no longer come to cat sit when I'm away. I'm so glad I found Lauren and I'll be calling her every time I need someone to care for Sophie. In fact, I've already got her lined up next month when I'm away for work.

Lauren sat my cat for 4 days. Lauren made sure my cat was fed and watered, cleaned the litter box, spent half an hour day petting Lucy, and sent me photos or vids every day. My cat seemed to like Lauren, and I would not hesitate to ask Lauren to sit again.

Lauren watched our 2 kitties for 2 weeks. Did a wonderful job. Got updates every evening that put our mind at rest. When we came home cats were happy and relaxed. Thank you Lauren!

Simply the best! My dog, Charley, has been a Camp Yellow Dog camper for more than three years, attending both the day camp and the sleep away camp. He is always excited to go to camp and always returns home happy, content and tired. Julie and Colin provide an absolutely superb service.

I have recently signed my dog Cooper up to be a proud member of the camp crew at Yellow Dog. He has gone to both day camp and also boarded overnight. He absolutely loves it, coming home exhausted at the end of his day or stay, whichever one I have utilized at the time, given my schedule. The location is absolutely beautiful and I know he has an amazing time. I also know he is in good hands with Julie and Colin. They both have calm, warm energy. You know they truly love the dogs and spend ample time with them. They are so professional and engaged with our four legged family members that are in their care. I cannot say enough about how stress free this is for me - knowing he is in good hands and excited to be with them.

My dog had a blast on her 1st overnight stay at Camp Yellow Dog! I can't say enough about how caring, responsible, thorough and conscientious Julie and Colin are towards their clients. I felt very assured and confident that I had left my dog in the best of hands. We'll be back!

Julie and Colin treat the dogs like family! The walk over hill and dale finish with a happy de-twigging and tidy-up and the ride home is one of pure contentment. Rascal always know when we turn onto Mt. Sicker Rd on camp mornings! Thank you for giving him such a good day - and great stay overs! I never have to worry when I am travelling.

As an over protective dog mama, I was so nervous about leaving Reggie with anyone. Julie and Colin put me at ease, they truly love what they do and that shines through. It’s the small details of Pup updates while in vacation. When your pup knows where he is while driving up the road and gets so excited he doesn’t even say bye, you know it’s an awesome place! Julie owns and operates an amazing “camp” for dogs; and makes sure to stimulate both the dogs’ minds and bodies in a positive reinforcement, force free way, always! The property is set up beautifully, and she truly does her due diligence making sure every dog is happy & stress free. I have absolutely no hesitation referring my clients to her on a regular basis. I want to attend Camp Yellow Dog myself! ♥️

Julie and Colin go above and beyond to make our dog feel comfortable at Camp Yellow Dog. It is a welcoming retreat. Our dog has been to Camp a couple of times this year. Julie runs a fantastic boutique style boarding that is a low stress and positive experience for dogs. Julie is incredibly passionate about providing the best care possibly for our companion animals and takes into account the emotional well-being of each dog that is in her care. She is knowledgeable on dog behaviour and force-free handling and holds a high standard of care. I would not hesitant for a moment to leave my dog in her care or to refer others to do so. The community is very lucky to have a service like this available for our dogs!

Julie and Colin at Camp Yellow Dog are the best of the best. No one has more love and compassion for what they do and the pets who come their way. And if your pet has special needs, or needs a lot of exercise or attention, don't worry -- they will get it. Your only worry will be that it won't want to leave! Our 12-year-old Charlie and 3-year-old Deacon love going to Wendy's! She gives them lots of love, and treats them like her own. And her dog Bekka is so good at welcoming other dogs into her "pack"! Daily car rides and fun off-leash walks in local parks keep our boys happy. Highly recommended!

Wendy Joy provides the absolute best in dog boarding and sitting. When our work required regular monthly travel, it was Wendy Joy who took excellent care of our golden retriever, Chief. Chief was always very happy to see Wendy Joy, and we are always happy to come home to our sweet boy who was wonderfully taken care of and loved in our absence. My Molly loves going to her ' day care' with Wendy. ( for more that 6 years now. ) She is happy and content and I never worry about her. That is a lot for me to say as I am very selective where I leave my dog. Wendy loves my dog as much as I do. I highly recommend this doggy care if you want the best for your doggy.

Our dog Biscuit loves visiting with Wendy! She does a great job keeping the dogs active and well cared for. She has been flexible and accommodating when we go away, and has taken care of Biscuit for several days at a time, and many times. I would definitely recommend!

This is an awesome doggy daycare! Wendy loves dogs, handles them well and treats them like royalty. It's comfortable, spacious and they go for lots of long walks. The dogs always seem happy and contented there.

Wendy is really remarkable. She went out of her way to accommodate my elderly mother and her small dog. I would highly recommend her, she is quick to respond to requests and makes every effort to help out.

Wendy has great dog digs and also will pick up or drop off your dog if needed. Bella loves her walks with Wendy and likes to sit in Wendy's lap when she can, and she's a Big dog ;-)

This is how much my 10-yr.-old Aussie-cross, Kava, loves to stay with Wendy and Bekka. Two years ago, Wendy drove over to pick up Kava in Sidney, as I live in Victoria now. Our cars passed one another in the designated meeting-place parking lot. Kava was sitting in the passenger seat, when I rolled the window down to speak to Wendy. As soon as Kava noticed it was her, she jumped out of the window and into the open window in Wendy's car. No separation anxiety! I feel like I'm doing her a favour by going on vacation. She gets a vacation too. So reassuring. Wendy has a deep respect and love for her canine companions. I wholeheartedly recommend her digs!

Pearl loves staying here. It's a real home for dogs, not a kennel. Wendy treats every dog as if her own. Our first choice for dog boarding.

The best daycare experience. Shane and the staff know what they are doing. Unlike other daycares, you'll notice when you arrive the dogs aren't barking at every car or at each other, they respect the staff and have an amazing time playing with one another. Firm boundaries and a lot of love. Our dog loves coming here and I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We adore this doggie daycare! We scoped out other highly recommended daycares and were not satisfied... So when we found Island Canine Care we felt so relieved that this alternative existed.. It's like dream-come-true doggie resort vibes. We were dreaming about a dynamic space where our little dude would be cared for, worked with, observed and come home tired from feeling engaged with by lots of well behaved dogs. The pack and people here are awesome and we noticed an massive positive shift after his very first visit! It's such a gift being able to give him this next-level pack experience. I feel so secure and supported, having this healthy, active space to offer my pup.

We bring our sometimes reactive dog here for daycare and boarding and he has the best time and mingles well. Shane and his crew keep a watchful eye and manage all the dogs and their energies well as they run, play and swim. It’s a big beautiful property with plenty of space for the dogs to spread out and even has a covered area with large fire pit where the dogs can cozy on cold dreary days. When we have to travel without our dog it makes it worry free knowing he’s in good competent hands and having fun in the fresh air all day. It helps that the rates are super reasonable as well. Can’t recommend enough.

My girl Presley has been going to Island canine for over a month now, and it’s been the best thing I ever could have done for her, and for me haha she’s young and full of energy and to have her play hard all day long and get training throughout the day with Shane and his team is just the best! She’s all tuckered out when we get home. Shane is always giving me pointers and tips with Presley, I can’t believe the difference with her since going to Island canine, I HIGHLY recommend this place! Not to mention they’re not only the best in the valley but the most affordable too! I can’t forget to mention Karen who does the grooming, she keeps my girl all clean and nails trimmed! Just love this place, and you will too!

Lots of space to play and run around. Working areas are clean, staff are very informative, friendly and approachable. Most importantly the dog felt totally at home in approach and welcome. Grooming experience was fantastic! Luke looked great and smelt wonderful.

Karen is such an amazing groomer, trained & experienced in grooming all breed standards. Shane has such a way with the dogs in day care! So many things for the dogs to do! All getting along, hanging out or playing together.

Knowledgeable and confident with dogs. A very large facility where the dogs can roam about inside a fully fenced yard. The dogs all get along nicely and the owner is very good with them. Super selection of natural dog treats on hand by a local company as well.

My rescue has been going for a while now. Not only does she get socialized and tired, but they work on behavior as well. Shes a better dog for going there! Can't recommend enough!

My dogs love Dave and his whole family, as do I. They are amazing. I know my boys are well cared for and having a blast when I take them to Glenora. I love hearing the stories of their adventures when I pick them up. I have a big and a small dog and both receive everything they need to be safe and happy. It’s particularly incredible how Dave & family take in and handle dogs that may be “too much” for other kennels. Boarding at Glenora actually helped socialize my crazy youthful husky. I don’t know what I would do without Glenora. They are there for us for a night, week, month, with our complete confidence, at an affordable rate.

We love Glenora Creek Kennels! Our dogs have always come home tired and happy. They get excited in the car as we turn up the road towards their favourite play zone. The Lees know how to care for dogs with all temperaments, of all sizes and ages. Thanks for taking such good care of our fur babies!

I can’t imagine life without this place! We were worried about finding a caring and understanding kennel for our high energy, high prey-driven rescue pup and the Lee family welcomed Bodhi to their kennel with open arms. Bodhi has become much more social-minded and relaxed from his stays at Glenora Creek, and loves nothing more than to run around the farm with all of the buddies he’s made. The Lee’s have an incredible understanding of dogs and canine behaviour, and they put 100% into the care of each dog that stays there. Thank you Dave, Linda & Rory!
