Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.
Great pet care. The house was clean and tidy. The sitters had great communication. Would recommend again!
Erin was a great pet sitter who took such good care of little Chino. She was very reliable, kept us up to date with videos/pictures, looked after our home and kept it neat and tidy. She even left a thoughtful gift upon our return and was flexible with our travel plans. We would definitely recommend Erin for anyone looking for a reliable and friendly pet sitter!
Bard and Kim are amazing house sitters and pet care givers. I would recommend them over and over. I wish I could add numbers to the scale. They would get a 10+. Bard and Kim were super easy to work with, efficient, self-sufficient, and considerate. They took immaculate care of my home; it was definitely cleaner after they left! I would recommend them without hesitation over and over.
We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.
Ramona and Brandon were the perfect sitters! They rescued me and were very accommodating with my needs. Ramona's communication with me was A1. We spoke multiple times before she arrived and throughout the sit. She was good at keeping me updated and I was very grateful for that, being so far away. The pets gravitated toward them from the moment they arrived and you could see that all she and Brandon wanted to do was spoil the pets with lots of cuddles. My female pup was in heat and they handled that very well and were able to keep her and my male dog separated. I could only imagine how exhausting that may have been but they didn't complain one bit. Ramona and Brandon had to hand over the sit to another sitter and were kind enough to write out the details and everything they observed to make the transition a seamless one. I must say, it helped tremendously. I'd have them back in a heartbeat to sit for me as they showed that I could trust them, not only to take care of my pets but to respect my home they way they would their own. Thanks again for making my trip away worth it!
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Thank you for taking great care for the dogs and the house.
What an amazing couple we had as pet sitters for our two dogs! You can truly feel their love for animals. Nancy sent pictures a couple of times letting us know that they were having fun also with our Cody and Carson! Our home was perfect when we got home. They even left a beautiful potted flower and card on our island in our kitchen. We highly recommend this couple! Jim & Wanda
Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!

My two girls are walked by one of their staff here in South Delta. She is amazing. Our two girls had a compromised life when I had my second baby. This service picks up where I am unable to provide. It means the world to the dogs and has greatly enhanced their life. The company provides photos and videos of the walks, and all comments and questions are addressed professionally. Highly recommend.
The team at Delta Pet care have been amazing! We are so happy we found them! Our dog has had a lot of fun running in the fields and interacting with the other dogs.(He told me this is his favourite thing). They’re are really caring and thorough with texts and videos every day! 5 stars.
I have a cat and had Delta Pet Care look after her for four days. They accommodated me on short notice and were thorough and prompt in all their dealings. Phoenix was great with my cat. Phoenix and Linzie went above and beyond when there was a problem with the door lock and a new deadbolt was installed by my landlord. She was able to pick up the new key and carry on with caring for my kitty. Thank you Delta Pet Care I will definitely be using you in the future!!!
Linzie and her team have been walking Timber for 6 months now, and they have been amazing. Super flexible with our ever changing schedules and Timber loves his walk days! If you are looking for a dog walker in Twas, I would highly recommend.
Our dog goes on pack walks with Delta Pet Care weekly. He's not easy but Linzie has taken him on and gives us lots of updates and a clear picture of how he is doing each week. I don't have to worry about how he is doing because there is clear communication. They are also really reliable which I have found is hard to come by in the pet care industry. If you are looking for a provider of pack walks or dog care I'd recommend them.
Thank you to Delta Pet Care for the amazing care and accommodating our sometimes changing schedule🙏 Benji is a happy boy 🐶 and waiting patiently for his human to come home. This is favourite chilling after walking adventure with Linzie and Maryah 😍 …
I used Delta Pet Care for dog/cat sitting and I had a wonderful experience .. First time it was a very last minute trip and Linzie was very responsive and helpful.. I then send my high energy dog for group dog walking and Linzie was always on time and taking care my dog has her own 🫶🏼!! I just reached to Delta Pet Care for pet sitting my dogs and cats during the holiday season and they respond me right away giving me the peace of mind to book my trip .. I just love how they make my dogs happy 😊!! Thank you !!!
Linzie and her team are great, it is so helpful to have them pick up our two dogs and bring them back tuckered out! They always love going on their big pup walks, and we always appreciate the video updates of our two pups having a blast! Would definitely recommend to check out Delta Pet Care!
I cannot say enough about how great Delta Pet Care is! They are great with communication and organizing everything with pickup and drop off. They send photos or short videos while the dogs are out with them which I love! Our dog Oakley loves his pack walks with Delta Pet Care - he comes home tired and happy each time!
We had Delta Pet Care take good care of our 3 fur babies while on our Hawaiian vacation. They were so professional and very kind to our dogs. Highly recommend them and will use their services again
Cisco has been going to this daycare since he was a puppy. He absolutely loves it here! The staff has always been friendly and affectionate towards the dogs. We can see he's having the time of his life from the photos they send us, and we've never received a complaint about his loud barking—they just let the dogs be themselves. We feel confident leaving him for boarding, even on short notice. Even though we moved 30 minutes away, we still go to this daycare!
We’ve been taking our pup here for over a year now. They have been such a reliable second home for our very energetic and demanding working-breed dog. The staff and owner are genuine, accommodating and build positive relationships with all the dogs. They really provide amazing care for the all of the dogs, are genuinely interested in wellbeing and special needs of your dogs, and provide constant feedback on how your pup does each day. Don’t know what we would do if we didn’t have Furry Friends around, and would highly recommend this business to anybody.
We followed Aline here from Pet Smart. My dog absolutely loves her and she is the sweetest, most kindest soul. She is super attentive and does a great job grooming him. Unfortunately we moved to the island so we won't see Aline much, if at all anymore. Hope we can get him in soon - but I wanted to recognize the great work she does and how great of a groomer is she and sooo amazing with dogs.
Amazing daycare boarding. I love this day care . Well, amazing people involved in taking care of me .Nothing much, my gratitude to all of them . While my mum goes to work as a surgeon . I love furry friends, a lot of great brothers and sisters, and also girlfriends . Furry friends, I 🧡 you . Thank you of Me Peace harmony. Amigo Villanuver
Went in to get our dogs nails cut. They were super quick and friendly. We just walked in without an appointment and they had us out in less than 10 mins. Good pricing too
Took my dog here for the first time today. He loved it and came home spent. Staff sent me pictures and updates throughout the day. Highly recommend Furry Friends!
My baby is usually scared of everything and everyone. By looking at the picture, you can see how it went with Aline lol! Best service ever! My baby is super happy and loved Aline so much! Can’t wait to bring her there again! Aline is love! Aline is magical! Words can’t say enough!!!
They are amazing, lovely people . Taking care of my little hyper little fellow . They give a lot to our loved ones. I have no words to express how much they have done for me unbelievably. Keep up the good work Especially Melissa. And her partner . Bless you both
My dog Sugar has been going here for the past 8 months and is obsessed with Furry Friends daycare! She can be anxious around new dogs, people and different environments but this place is like her second home. The staff treat her so well and she even has a title "Director of Activities" because she plays all day. I'm so grateful that there is such an amazing daycare nearby and highly recommend Furry Friends if you're looking for a daycare in New West.
Do not trust furry freinds . Take your dog elsewhere. The owner is very angry and hostile with customers. I would not trust her with your pet.
I can’t say enough good things about Mimi, the trainer and owner. When we first brought Barky home, he was a shy puppy who didn’t interact much with people or other dogs. We were worried he’d grow up anxious or fearful, but after working with Mimi, everything changed. She really took the time to understand Barky’s personality and moved at his pace, gently encouraging him to come out of his shell. Now, he’s not only more confident but actually enjoys meeting new people and dogs – something we never thought we’d see! Mimi’s training — and that of the pack — is incredibly thorough, and she makes it so easy to follow through at home. What really makes her stand out is how responsive she is. Any time we had a question – whether it was about socialization tips, attachment training, or even what to do during Barky’s nervous moments – she got back to us quickly with advice that actually worked. Beyond the training sessions, Mimi has been such an amazing resource. She’s helped us with everything from diet questions to tips to train a secure attachment in Barky. It feels like we can ask her anything, and she’s always happy to help. Barky absolutely adores her, and so do we. Seeing him grow into a happy, social pup has been such a rewarding experience, and we owe so much of that to Mimi. I highly recommend reaching out to Mimi – she’s truly the best!
Mimi has been a wonderful caregiver, with the added bonus of a Trainer, to my Dog Charlie, since he was 3 months old. He’s a lot to handle but she taught me patience and consistency (and him some manners!) Always a smile on her face when I drop off or pick up my dog. Charlie loves it there! I highly recommend Doggy DooLil Daycare.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! This daycare is by far the worst place you could ever leave your dog. I brought my 10-month-old puppy for a trial day, and it was a nightmare. From the beginning, I was upfront about leaving him from 7 AM to 7 PM, and the owner assured me it was fine. However, as soon as I arrived, she started nitpicking my puppy’s behavior, claiming he had “issues” just because he was scared of the large dogs barking at him. Rather than introducing him properly or showing any understanding, she threw him into an overwhelming situation. I immediately felt uneasy when she demanded $40 cash upfront, which seemed sketchy, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. When I returned at 7 PM, I found out my puppy had been left outside in the cold rain for who knows how long! He was hiding somewhere she couldn’t even locate, and her only explanation was, “Oh, I don’t know. He’s been annoying and barking.” That is completely unacceptable. A professional should never leave a dog outside unattended, especially in bad weather. To make things worse, she tried to charge me $65—without any prior notice or explanation—and when I refused, she became incredibly rude. She insulted my dog, saying he was the “worst” and that I had “damaged” him, which is both unprofessional and deeply hurtful. No one running a daycare should ever speak to a customer or treat their dog this way. It’s clear that this person has no passion, patience, or care for animals. From what I saw, she just leaves the dogs in her backyard while sitting inside her house. If you care about your dog’s well-being, avoid this place at all costs.
Mimi is the best pack leader. After spending time with her, our puppy Barky has learned so much. He is more confident and curious now, not like before, when he was scared of everything, even a door or a bird. He is definitely enjoying his life now. As Barky's mom, I also learned so much about how to be a dog mom. I'm grateful that I found Doggy DooLil, and that we have Barky going to her daycare once every week. The moment we park in front of Mimi's place, our dog forgets us.. I guess that's how you know he loves her and her pack. Thank you Mimi!
What can I say about Mimi and Doggy Dolil, except my pup and I absolutely love it. I sent my puppy there so he could learn proper socialization but we have gotten way more out of it than I had thought. My puppy used to bite, nip, and tug at my clothes before and all of those behaviours had stopped within a couple of weeks of going there (3 days/week). Mimi has given me a lot of advice regarding training certain behaviours out of my puppy and how to set boundaries and rules. She is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what she is doing. My puppy has made many friends there and he very excited in the mornings. In fact he’s loved it so much that I transitioned him to daycare 5 days a week. Every morning he wakes up excited and happy to go to daycare and play with his friends. Sending him to Doggy Dolil was the best decision I could’ve made for my puppy. There’s a huge change in him and I couldn’t have done it without Mimi’s guidance. If you’re looking for a safe and fun space for your dog where they can learn and grow, look no further!
Jack has been going to Mimi’s for the past 9 months and enjoys it there! He has the opportunity to interact and socialize in a safe and clean environment (Jack never comes home dirty, as we experienced with other care facilities). Mimi shares her experience and wealth of knowledge, sharing tips and tricks to continually improve and correct Jack’s behaviour. Mimi takes her responsibility of watching and taking care of our dog seriously with a gentle but firm disposition which provides us comfort that Jack is in good hands. Jack has boarded overnight on a couple of occasions with Mimi and Jack has really enjoyed it. On one occasion and with short notice, Mimi was kind enough to help us when we had conflicts where Jack would have otherwise been left home alone for an extended period. I asked if she was able to help us and she let me know immediately that she would! It was such a great help and comfort to know Mimi is there when we need her. Thanks Mimi!
We have been taking our English labrador retriever, Chester, to Doggy DooLil since Chester was 3 months old for daycare twice a week. It has been wonderful. He has boarded with her for a week back in May and absolutely loved it. We have many more boarding sessions booked for the future! Mimi is experienced and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dog training and behaviour. She's not just a person that watches your dog during the day but also someone whom you can ask for help/advice on anything dog related. As to the other reviews here complaining about strictness or inflexibility in rules, I can only say one thing: do you regularly handle 20 dogs at a time by yourself? I doubt any of us do. Rules are in place to ensure a good and safe experience for all dogs - yours and the others. Just like kids, dogs need discipline and I am happy that Mimi lays down the law and is consistent in her approach with the dogs and also to us - the human owners. Being a dog owner is a relationship and it takes work on both sides - not just the dog! Mimi's responsibility (which she takes seriously) is to ensure the well being and safety for the entire pack. You can bring your dog here with confidence knowing that she has the best interests of all the dogs that attend!
My dog loves it here. He gets the most excited when I pull into the driveway and he realizes where he is. He hates leaving and i can tell how well Mimi treats them all. She has been super accommodating and will give you the best advice. She is very knowledgeable in her profession and cares about all of the members.
It’s been 2 years since I’ve been to this daycare and I am still bothered by my experience enough that I think about it on a regular basis. I took my two puppies here for one month before switching them to another daycare. When I arrived to pick up my dogs, they were excited to see me and were hopping up at the gate. Mimi scolded them and started jabbing one of my dogs in the ribs with her fingers. She then told me that one of my dogs (the one she was jabbing) was an “escape artist” and had gotten out of pen in the morning. When you enter Mimi’s house, you enter through the front door and there is a gate separating the dog’s area from the door to the outside. Mimi told me she had forgotten to latch the gate so my dog had gotten out and was sitting by the front door and another pet parent had seen her and pointed it out. To me, this is completely unacceptable. First of all, if you left the gate unlatched, then it is your fault she got out. It doesn’t make her an “escape artist” and doesn’t warrant punishment. Secondly, the fact that Mimi didn’t even notice, and it was another client who pointed it out is just negligent. My dog could have gone missing and Mimi wouldn’t have even noticed. The fact that Mimi was still punishing my dog for this 8 hours later is completely unacceptable. My dog obviously did not know what she was being punished for by that point, and it had me concerned for how my dogs had been treated throughout the day when I wasn’t there. She went on to tell me that my dog was jumping at the gate in the morning so she “pinched her on the belly”. My dogs were anxious puppies that had just come to me from a rescue organization. They are small breed dogs, were 4 months old and 7lbs at the time. I couldn’t believe that she would physically punish them and that she didn’t see anything wrong with it because she straight up told me she did it. After that, I was not comfortable taking my dogs back to her because I was genuinely worried for their safety. I switched them to a different day care and I emailed Mimi to let her know that they wouldn’t be returning. Before any of this happened, I had already prepaid $500 to her for the next month and I asked Mimi if she would refund me because I was a student at the time. She told me she was sorry to see me go but she couldn’t refund me because she had already spent the money. I left it at that because I would rather lose the money than leave my dogs in her care for another month. Also, she always called me Heather despite me correcting her daily that that wasn’t my name. Not my biggest complaint, but always uncomfortable.
We started sending Nova to Mimi’s in August of 2022 after someone recommend her daycare to us. We wanted Nova to have more socialization with other dogs, and we got just that! Nova loves going to Mimi’s and seeing all her friends. As well, we have always felt comfortable leaving Nova in Mimi’s care as we know Mimi takes the best care of the pack. We would highly recommend Doggy DooLil daycare to anyone!
Nash our golden has been attending cloud nine for over a year now. He goes for day care, grooming and most recently overnight board and train. The staff is phenomenal and cares SO much about each and every dogs well being and development. They treat them as one of their own. Nash loves the staff and all his puppy friends. They’re extremely accommodating and have invested so much into our puppy. The training was BEYOND amazing and we saw such positive changes in our dogs behaviour/ listening skills. HIGHLY recommend this business they’re just the best.
Cloud Nine Canines has been amazing for my dog, Ranger, who has been attending since he was a puppy—about two years now. I can’t say enough good things about them! Thanks to their incredible care and training, Ranger has become so well-behaved, and I owe a large part of that to his time spent here. He always gets his energy out at daycare, and the staff treats him just as I would, which makes me feel so confident leaving him in their care. They're always excited to see him, and I love that! Their grooming services are a fantastic added bonus, and check-in/check-out is always quick and smooth. Huge thanks to the whole Cloud Nine Canines team!
The best daycare/training facility I’ve EVER been to. They actually take who they bring into their doggy day care seriously. My doggo has been attacked a few times unfortunately and she has some anxiousness which leads to reactivity. I was looking for a dog daycare facility that would take my dogs safety into consideration. If she was nervous or too stressed. I wanted to know. I didn’t want her to get into a negative situation again. I worked with a trainer amy a few times, was given great feedback on what to work with her on and now she’s doing GREAT! And more importantly. I’m feeling a lot more confident in my dog. I will be coming back to their day care once we’re back on the west coast 🩷 10/10 recommend. They will listen to you, support you. And advocate for your dog.
My dog Jesse absolutely loves it here! They seem to take the safety and well-being of the dogs extremely seriously. They have several different large outdoor spaces, a pool, and undercover areas for your dog to enjoy. The cost is reasonable considering the service they provide.
Bodhi was a one year old 75 pound ball of muscle and puppy energy when we first came to Cloud Nine Canines. He had an in your face, hip checking, bulldozer play style that most dogs didn’t appreciate. We’ve experienced rescue dogs that were not dog social and we desperately didn’t want that kind of dog again. The staff at Cloud Nine has worked so hard with us transforming Bodhi into a safe, play with any size dog. He makes good decisions about who wants to play and who to leave alone. They have taught us so much and have been a wealth of helpful advice and information. Bodhi is a large powerful young dog who needs time outs when overstimulated, firm corrections, leash time, and the close supervision the Cloud Nine staff provide. Sometimes he needs tune ups or refreshers and Shannon keeps us updated and explains clearly any new methods they are using with him. They customize training for every size, personality, and issue a dog may have. It is frustrating to see reviews from people complaining when they only see a 5-10 minute window of what goes on there. People who have very limited experience with different breeds and personalities of dogs should ask questions rather than make public judgments. I have no doubt Bodhi would have become a brawler if he’d been unsupervised, undisciplined, and left in a field to “play”. Taking him to dog parks would have guaranteed problems. The fact that he can’t wait to get out of the car when we arrive, clearly shows that discipline and guidance makes for very happy daycare dogs! The staff are all fantastic at sharing stories and telling us who his best friend of the day is. We absolutely love the special events and picture days just like a child’s daycare! Watching the videos and seeing all the pictures on Facebook is always treat as well. Bodhi had his first sleepover in the summer, and while we missed him, it was so nice to not be worried all night. I just can’t say enough good things about Cloud Nine Canines, Renata, Shannon, and their amazing staff! Bodhi has transformed from a bulldozer who almost dragged us down the street to a well behaved, energetic but chill surfer dude in just under a year! We are so grateful and happily put our names on this review. Adele & Jason Hurst-Dand
I would like to thank Renata and her staff for their quick actions in apprehending my Husky Togo. While I unloaded Togo in the parking lot he slipped his collar and bolted across the street. Renata immediately calmed the runner and captured him. She is truly a Dog Whisperer!
This is quite possibly the best dog daycare I have ever visited, and I have used several. Renata, the owner, truly cares about both the dogs and their owners. The staff is exceptional, and my pup always comes home happy.
Very professional, flexible and caring! Yesterday I had concerns about the smoke in the air from forest fires and my dog breathing it in while playing (she's mostly indoors and has a lot of allergies). Shannon listened and kept watch of her during her day to make sure she wasn't sneezing or coughing. She also called me mid-day for an update on how my dog is doing and the precautions they took to make sure she's safe. Thank you for going the extra mile, very appreciated! Cadence came back happy and healthy :)
Our dog Arlo has been going to Cloud Nine Canines for over 2 years now. We were wanting him to have a safe place to socialize with other dogs without us always being around. It was one of the best decisions we ever made! Arlo is well socialized and absolutely loves going there. The staff is well trained and the facility is well looked after and gives the dogs numerous areas to play, run and socialize. There are also lots of comfy spots to take a break too! We have also used their boarding services. We are so glad we found somewhere that Arlo can go when we are away and don't have to worry! We would absolutely recommend Cloud Nine Canines to anyone looking for a daycare for their dog!
Was very appreciative of the owner as well as the front desk ladies whom I talked to in regards to getting my dog in under a very short and important period of time. We’re very professional, and the owner genuinely cares and does everything for the dogs & only the best! They were very kind and got back to me very quickly, except after the few days that she went, have not gotten back to me since. I was really wanting all of the photos that one of the employees said they took of her. I only got one that was on their newsletter and that is it. The employee told me to look on their Facebook and Instagram because they post there as well and nothing has been posted since a cpl days before she was there! So I am really hoping to get those!!! Overall, my dog was Seemed to of been well treated and very much loved, and only good things were said about her when I picked her up. Overall great experience for both of us ( my dog and myself!!) Look forward to going back in the near future!
Ken and Yvonne have been walking my dog for the past 5 years and I couldn't be happier. Not only are they awesome human being but they are truly dedicated to the well-being of my dog. They are caring, responsible and always go above and beyond to make sure my dog is happy, safe and healthy. They have become more than just a dog walker to me, they are now a friend and I trust them 100%. I highly recommend Marpole Dog Walking to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker.
Ken and Yvonne take care of every dog like their own. They are kind and wonderful people who I know I can trust my dog with. My Aussie pup comes back happy from every adventure with them and is always so excited to see Ken and Yvonne when they come to pick him up. We have also boarded our pup a few times now with them and can trust that he gets all the love and attention he needs. Ken and Yvonne always make sure to know your dogs schedule and any of their preferences they should be aware of. They are absolutely wonderful!
Ken and Yvonne are the most amazing care takers for my dog Noah and my parents Dogs Murphy and Dexter. The love and care that they have for all the pets (family members) that they look after is simply incredible. We have been with them for well over 4 years now and cannot recommend them enough. They post pictures daily and it always makes me smile to see their love and our pets through their photos. Our dogs always come home happy and a little sad to leave their love! We are furever grateful to have them both in our lives!
I made arrangements while I was in the US to drop off Noodle on a Friday. However, due to mishaps on my accomodations, they immediately took her in as soon as I landed Vancouver. It was a last minute request and they are very nice folks. I will bring my dog to them again. Ken and Yvonne are really nice. When I was picking up Noodle, they felt they were being separated from their grandchild, Ken’s arm on Yvonne’s shoulder as they bid us goodbye. Noodle would climb up to Ken’s lap as soon as he sat on the couch. Noodle became more affectionate when we returned to the US. Yvonne paid attention to the needs of the other dogs as well. Fed 3x a day plus treats and lots of hugs. They are really wonderful! I will bring Noodle back to them on my next trip.
This is the best place to take your pup! Ken and Yvonne have exceptional dog care skills. Whenever we take our Suka there we consider it a vacation for her as she loves them like Aunti and Uncle! Thank you both for being so wonderful and considerate!
The owners were wonderful and really helped us out of a bind. We had to go on a trip and we had planned to leave Kevin with another boarder. The other dog wasn’t really happy with a new 4 month puppy joining so we couldn’t leave him there. We were leaving the following day so now we had to find someone to leave our puppy with who we trusted. After meeting with them and having a long conversation you could tell they were great with dogs. Kevin instantly felt at home. So we felt comfortable leaving him there. We would get regular updates and pictures and when we picked up Kevin after 6 long days apart he looked happy and tired (must have played the whole time). I would highly recommend Marpole Dog Walking. 5 stars for sure! Very impressed!
Ken and Yvonne are just the best with dogs! They are caring, experienced and my dog absolutely loves them. I have dropped off my dog with them for the day on several occasions so she can get some exercise and play with other dogs. I have also left her with them for one month while I was on a trip last year and they took very good care of my dog. They are probably one of the very few people that I would trust to leave my dog with. Highly recommend!!
Great service run by caring, dog loving couple, Ken and Yvonne. I have boarded my dog, Mason here since he was a puppy. Ken and Yvonne do their best to be attentive with regard to diet and exercise. Mason returns looking well and is happy to go back. All questions are responded to promptly. Thank-you Ken and Yvonne.
Ken and Yvonne are truly amazing - professional, caring, competent and amazing with dogs. They made an impression with me from the initial call inquiring about their services, to picking our puppy Rodney after 2 nights boarding, and everything in between to assure us that he was doing well and sending pictures too! I was particularly nervous about boarding because Rodney was assessed at another dog boarding place and they had to cancel our reservation due to fear aggression he showed when he stopped by for an hour visit. When I told Ken about this experience and to warn him, he was confident with their abilities to manage Rodney and didn’t hesitate to take him in still. They gave Rodney lots of exercise, socialization with other dogs and just as an important love like he gets at home. Rodney was really happy and so tired when he got home. We will definitely come here again!!
Very nice and kind they clean my puppy too.Good job so thankfully
I have been boarding my 3yo GSD with lots of anxiety with Good Hound Country since the start of the year. Boarded 3-4 times and am super happy I found their services. I was very worried since my regular boarder became a new parent and ended their boarding business, but thankfully I have found very reliable boarding services at Good Hounds. Its very easy to use their portal to make bookings online, and I love how they share updates on Insta throught the stay and also very accessible on gmail. Friendly, professional service and very attentive to detailed needs of the dog. I would most highly recommend, especially for German Shepherds (difficut breed to board due to their anxiety). My Rufus is always back home from boarding healthy, happy and smelling fresh 😊
We started taking our now 7-month old puppy to Good Hound in the summer shortly after we adopted him, and we could not be happier! We did a couple of socialization classes and one private training session, and are now putting Gunner in regular daycare. He just came back after a month away and could barely contain himself from the car to the daycare facility. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and so easy to work with. I've owned dogs in Ladner since 2006, and am so glad that we have this gem available to us.
Good Hound Country might be a good place to play, but not so good for a long stay. We had to board our dog for 18 days. Normally, we have our adult kids care for our dog when my wife and I go away. However, since the whole family went on this long trip, we decided to use a boarding service. We let our dog do a one-night test stay at Good Hound Country, and everything seemed to go well. The photos or videos you see on their Instagram make it look like the dogs play all day. However, when we dropped him off for the long stay, I found out that our dog would be caged alone in a small pen for about 21 hours a day and that he would only be let out about 3-4 times a day to pee/play. Most of the time, during a long stay, the boarded dog is caged alone. I questioned this policy, but they said a dog would get too tired if they go out to play more than this. I regretted the choice, but we were leaving the next day and I could not change boarders on short notice. When I picked up our dog after our trip, they said the stay went well and there were no problems. However, when I loaded him into my vehicle, I noticed open sores on both elbows and an open contusion on his left paw. Good Hound apologized for not reporting the injuries during our trip or upon pickup. They said that the floor in their pens are very abrasive and for some reason dogs during a long stay will refuse to sleep on the provided bed or home blanket, preferring to push away the bed and blanket to sleep directly on the bare floor, which causes rubbing and injuries to the dog's elbows. This has happened to other dogs. They could not explain the contusion injury to the paw. I don't know what the conditions are like in the pens because GH would not let me view the pens before or after the stay. I don't know why my dog would not sleep on his own regular blanket. Perhaps the pens are so stuffy that he preferred the cooler bare floor. Alternatively, the pens may be so cold that he preferred to curl up directly on the bare floor which supposedly has radiant heating. I don't know because Good Hound would not let me in to see for myself. Prior to dropping off, GH made promises to brush my dog's teeth and to bathe him upon pickup. When we got him back, he was filthy. They told me that he was too fearful to have his teeth brushed or to be bathed. Instead, they wiped him down with a disinfectant on his last day so he would not smell. Daily teeth brushing and regular bathing are very routine activities for my dog. If my dog could not trust GH to do either after 18 days, that tells me all I need to know about them. If the occasion arises again in the future, I will find a private dog sitter for a more personal service and experience for my dog. REPLY: I only repeated what was told to me by GH on dropoff/pickup or by their email. I would not have brought in the tooth brush/paste (which GH accepted) if GH did not tell me to do so. The next day, GH sent an email saying that brushing was NOT included. Fine. There was nothing I could do. However, GH now claims they tried to brush my dog's teeth anyways (why would they do this when it was not included?), but blames my dog for jeopardizing the safety of their staff. On pickup, GH told me that my dog got along with the staff and other dogs and that there were no problems, other than allegedly not wanting a bath on his last day because of fear. They did not provide any manager's report, and there was no mention of "resource guarding" as alleged below. Now, GH wants to blame the dog, or the owner for being away too long or for not paying more. GH admitted that there have been incidents of elbow sores with other dogs. GH should warn people or change the flooring. GH should have notified us; we had provided GH with a contact person to take our dog to a vet, if necessary. And GH should have reported the injuries on pickup instead of hoping we would not notice. Before you decide to use GH for a long stay, just ask them how many hours your dog will be caged during 24 hours and if there are any known risk of injury.
Good Hound Country has a thoughtful approach to boarding to ensure maximum comfort and mitigation of stress for your pups. I have a reactive dog and they were very receptive to all of her needs. Even if I forgot to tell them about something and followed up, they were welcoming of my input/update and they truly want wants best for your dog. They post regular photos of the pets which helps for peace of mind while you're away. I've done tons of research and there's no where that competes in the Lower Mainland - genuinely a team you can trust leaving your fuzzy family members with and ensure your pet will come home happy. Love Shannon & Leika :)
we bring our crazy lady Riley to Good Hound Country every Thursday for daycare. she always gets a good run to expend all her pent up energy and just loves all the interaction she gets from the staff and the other pups. love how Good Hound posts pics on IG so you can occasionally see your pup having fun throughout the day. we have also worked with Andrew in private training sessions and he always provides great insight. we highly recommend Good Hound’s services whether for daycare, overnight boarding or training sessions!
Our pup Nina loves GH Country and all the people that work there! She attends daycare weekly and boards with them when we go away. She is always happy to arrive!! She is a unique character and I'm so grateful to have found a place for her at GH. I never hesitate to recommend them and I am always ok with leaving Nina in their care while we travel. She has a great time!
Our four year old husky attends Good Hound Country daycare three days a week and she absolutely loves it. They care for her like she was her own dog and we have been consistently impressed with the level of care they give all dogs in their daycare. Good Hound staff are highly trained and really care about all dogs in the daycare. They offer an excellent balance of structure and free play and know the importance of allowing dogs down time, as well. All of the Good Hound services are amazing -our other dog attends Downtown and receives the same amazing care. When your dog goes to either location, they and your family become part of the Good Hound family. I can not recommend them enough.
Amazing family-run facility! We've done group classes and one-on-one training as well as boarding our loveable-but-crazy Dobermoose with Goodhound. The dogs are treated like family while boarding at GH Country - with a combination of structure, playtime, personal attention, quiet time, and butt scratches :) tailored to each dog. Highly recommended!
Staff are always friendly and have been dropping off Dixie here for a while. They have a wide variety of services and are for sure extremely knowledgeable. Our dog waits at the door to go every morning!
Best kennel our dog has ever stayed at. He comes out happy, healthy and clean every time. Owners give dogs a lot of care and attention. Would highly recommend.
We love the Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare service! Kristina is professional, timely and communicates very clearly about our dogs needs and her daycare needs. We know our dog is in great hands when he's not with us. He loves going and couldn't be more excited to leave with her! On non doggy daycare days I am convinced he sleeps by the door in hopes she will arrive to pick him up and take him on his next adventure.
Kristina treats all dogs in her care as if they were her own! She's detailed, consistent, structured; and most of all, loving. She will want to know everything about your dogs personality, behaviors and quirks so she can care for your fur babies like you would. The service is fantastic, including pick up and drop off. Your dog will get mental and physical stimulation, because of supervised socialization with other dogs, as well as an abundance of activities. The property offers an abundance of indoor and outdoor space for all dogs to roam freely. The daily walks and adventures off property to local trails and parks are amazing, and a huge added benefit for my two high energy border collie lab pups! I feel so at ease knowing that my dogs are in such great care. If you're looking for a top-quality daycare/walker, look no further!
We highly recommend Hugs and Kisses Doggie Daycare. Kristina and her team are excellent caregivers to our dogs. Both dogs are given incredible individual attention and care. Our Springer Spaniel loves to play, while our Havanese prefers to sit and watch some days. This is a happy, safe place for both. They love the walks and playtime with other dogs in a highly supervised, fun and stimulating environment. When they are picked up in the morning, by Kristina, both dogs run to get into her van because they know they are in for a day of exercise and fun! This is a wonderful place for your treasured pet.
My guy is a 8 month old Aussie who is a high energy breed, I have a decent sized yard but I knew he needed more and to have friends to play with.. Well I DEFINITELY found the place ! Hug & Kisses is absolutely Awesome for him! He comes home happy & EXHAUSTED! Kristina, is so wonderful with my guy! She takes videos of your pups so you can see them play throughout the day, I personally love to see him having fun! If you want a well run, fun filled day(s) for your pup, give Kristina a call, oh yea she picks up and drops your pups off! Thanks Kristina!
Kristina is an exceptional professional in the field of canine care. Her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to providing top-notch quality care for all dogs in her daycare is truly commendable. Her extensive experience and expertise make her a pleasure to collaborate with, and I highly recommend her doggy daycare services for dogs of all sizes.
A friend recommended hugs and kisses to us. We love the work that Kristina does with the dogs. Our dog Winston comes home so tired and never talks back after being at daycare. The long walks , being outside , playing with the other dogs and just the love that Kristina gives. Also having our dog picked up and dropped off makes it possible for our dog to go to daycare because we are up and gone by 5 am. We would highly recommend hugs and kisses as a great daycare .
My furry companion absolutely loves his time at Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and they clearly care about the well-being of each pup. My dog comes home happy, tired, and smelling like fresh air. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and they offer a variety of activities to keep the dogs entertained. I highly recommend Hugs & Kisses to anyone looking for a reliable and caring doggie daycare.
We love Kristina and her team. Having a dog, but also a full time job and child, I knew we’d need to find a place where he can go to burn off energy, make friends and be cared for during those long days. From day 1 I knew this was the place for our pup, lots of playtime, walks to get out all his extra energy but experience different places, and a shuttle helps ease my mind knowing he’s with a trusted team, Kristina even has CPR and first aid training! I know he’s safe when he’s with her. So happy to have our pup be part of this doggy family.
Kristina and her team are absolutely incredible! There’s no one we trust more with our fur kids! They get so excited when they hear her knock on the door and then get to go play with their friends while being properly monitored and watched. She’s always improving the daycare with toys, obstacles, and games and it’s really refreshing to have that outdoor secured space. Our fur kids have been with Kristina since they were puppies and we will not go anywhere else. Pick up at our house and drop off at the end of the day 10/10 highly recommend!
I have worked for Kristina for over 2 years now. I love the environment she has created for the dogs over the past couple years. We rarely walk at the same park in the same week which gives the dogs great diversity! She is my go to when for watching my own dogs when I’m out of town too!
Our 15 year old Shiba has been under Sabrina's care for a while now and we have nothing but amazing experience with her. First, she's always flexible and does her best to accomodate to our schedule even at last minute. She's very organized and sends us reminders, and always on time during walks. Her service goes beyond pet sitting, and shows compassion and extra medical care to our senior dog. We highly recommend Fidolity Pet Service!
I have a reactive Australian shepherd and decided to send him to training with Sabrina. Sabrina has been an excellent trainer, he’s less reactive and more friendly now. I love that she’s patient, caring and only uses positive reinforcements for him.
