Dani's pet boarding was a real God send, what a find! I need somewhere to take my 5 month old Pup(and on a relatively short notice)and Dani's boarding was available. My puppy was so happy and well cared for, she took her out for exercise regularly and sent me videos and pictures too keep me at ease while she was away from home. She has everything there for your animal to be cared for just like home! Well worth the very reasonable price. I want to give out my feedback to pet parents that are going to take their fur babies to this place. I was communicating back and forth through text message with somebody that I'm going to assume is Laura. I was acquiring about taking my two dachshunds for day camp. It took a long time but it is the holidays and they do board so I was very understanding. The fact that they asked for my dogs to have the canine influenza shot on top of their other shots. Really put me in a good place. I made arrangements to take them on Saturday which I did. When I got to the place I had the EBGBs. But I shrug it off and I said you know what this is good so that way my puppies can get some time bonding with other dogs. As I walked up to this place it took them awhile to get to me. When they finally noticed me, the young lady asked me what I was there for. She was nice. I asked her if I can speak to Laura. She went inside the home and came back out and told me she was just told to take my doggies. I really want my dogs to be sociable so I decided to not be that pet parent and I did leave my dogs. I believe I dropped them off at around 8am I figure I give them about 6 hours since it was their first time. When I went to pick them up they were in a play area with no supervision. As a matter of fact, all the play areas with big dogs, little dogs, senior dogs none of them had a person supervising. A young kid came out with my first dog and he looked like he was in shocke. He also had lots of stuff in his mouth. Then my second dog came out and he looked like he was not happy. We drove off just with a thank you and we paid what we owed. When we got home we inspected our dogs to make sure they didn't have any cuts and that their paws were good. They seem like they didn't have any accessible water because when we got home they goped water down. In my opinion, this is not a good place to leave your fur babies. Dogs could get into a lot of stuff and when you don't have supervision it can mean life or death.

I didn't take a picture but I dropped off our Yogi for the first time and it's going great so far. Laura has been very helpful in answering all my questions. My pup isn't neutered and there aren't a lot of places that will take him. He suffers from severe separation anxiety because he's a rescue that was abandoned at 6 months. He is a very clever large dog. The staff here is very welcoming and gave me a warm and fuzziness. We think we found a forever home.

Let me tell you All - This place and owners, the employees, and the way they care for your fur babies, Is Phenomenal! It was such an incredible experience having my boys (2 Chihuahuas) in their care, that I was able to focus on what I needed to get done, Knowing all the whole they were Well Taken Care Of!!

Great place to take your doggies to for boarding and grooming. Always caring people there taking care of the dogs. Our dogs have been going here for years and we're so comfortable leaving our dog there.

Great place to take your 4 legged kids. We have been taking our dogs here for the last year and a half. We moved out of California and find ourselves driving from Arizona every 5 weeks and always bring our dogs with us. Great place and great owners!

Laura is a godsend!! I was going nuts with my pups energy. He started going to Laura for the doggy daycare and he beats me to the door now! He gets to play with his friends and eats! She is the very best!! I recommended her for any pet!

A friend takes her dogs here and loves it. She said texting was the best way to get ahold of them. I texted once, the day before Thanksgiving to inquire about touring the place and did not receive a response. Figuring they were busy due to the holiday, I tried again the day after Thanksgiving and this time included an availability request with specific boarding dates. As of Sunday, still no response to either text.

They are very nice, kind and warm people well enough to handle my dog. Of course, they took good care of my pets. I will recommend this place for sure.

It's a great inconvenient place to drop off your dog for doggie daycare or overnight stay. She also offers grooming. Laura is a great person that you can contact via text message. Her staff are great with the furry guest and each of them by name. Her boarding rate is fair and is better than most boarding rates out there.

I'd recommend anyone who needs a pet sitter to come here. I first brought my pups a couple of years ago and I won't ever bring them anywhere else. My husky Matix has insane deportation anxiety but this has become his second home, he loves coming.

I have never used this place first thing. However I was calling on behalf of my mom for the simple fact when my grandmother went into the hospital I was reaching out to places for her little dog my parents live in Hesperia and my grandmother lives in Apple valley however I live in running springs so I was thinking I've got a place that was close for my parents to be able to go and keep the dog. The lady that I spoke to on the phone seemed very professional and very nice so I get it four stars. Don't worry the dog is doing great my daughter's I love my grandmother's dog but they are well aware that the dog will have to go home soon.

My dog's home away from home with his 2nd momma. He loves her more than me I think sometimes. But then I come to pick him up and he is bounding around the room and sassing the other dogs because he is happy. He is 14 years old now and hasn't acted so playfully in 3 to 4 years. Tonette has worked some miracle with him just by being with him while I'm at work. I cannot say enough to praise this woman. So kind, patient, and loving she creates a safe space for each of the animals in her care. That has built up confidence in my senior dog who stopped playing with other dogs when he was afraid of being hurt because of his arthritis. He will even start the playtime with the other dogs now. He is also much calmer. His separation anxiety made him so anxious all the time because he knew I was going to leave for work. Now he knows he has a fun, loving home with a second family that loves him to be with while his momma is working overnight

Wonderful experiences are very trustworthy. They care for your pet as if it were their own family.

Our baby loves the ranch. Playtime with all her friends while .Mom and Dad get thier stuff done. She's always happy and healthy when we pick her up. Freshly bathed. The best!! She's been here twice and we have an event out of town so looks like she will be visiting again. I know she will be in good hands. Thats the important part.

My dog Kima loves coming here, and I love bringing her. It's a really great facility and the staff is very attentive and caring. Pricing is very reasonable and I love being able to make reservations on their website. Typically I will call them an hour before arriving to pick up my dog and they will have her waiting for me ready to go. I'm so grateful that Double Dog Ranch is around, not sure what we would do without them.

I try to bring my dog here on a fairly regular basis because she loves it! I love it too for a number of reasons: staff are professional and friendly, grounds are a well maintained and spacious, I know that all dogs are current with their vaccinations, and that the dogs are watched on a regular basis. This is a great doggie daycare as well as for long term boarding.

Fantastic directions on the website! My phone took us to a dead-end and got us lost, but the right-brained directions got us back on track. I dropped our dog Blaze off with Amber for a trial at double dog ranch and when I picked him up, it was obvious she was real attentive to how he was doing. I'm very confident this place makes sure the dogs are well taken care of. A few days later Blaze was very happy to see Amber again when we dropped him off for a long stay. He was a little overweight, but he had so much fun running around we got him back at a healthy weight and we've been able to maintain that since.

We have been bringing our dogs here for years. Dana is a wonderful host and I wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else. We call it the dog resort on the mountain. The staff are excellent. They have a great attention for detail. They knew when my dogs were due for vaccines before I did. I highly recommend them.

They are the best. The ONLY place our dog Ailani likes to stay when we have to go somewhere far.

I have a German Shorthaired Pointer, hunting dog, whom I’ve boarded at kennels where he was caged all day except for potty walks twice a day. When he was there he’d refuse to eat and come hime 5-6 pounds lighter plus have diarrhea for a week. Once a friend told me about this place I knew it was the place for my boy as all he wants to do is be outdoors all the time searching for moving small critters. At the ranch he got everything he needed and I got the piece of mind knowing he was being taken care of. The best thing of all is that my dog would always come home with more muscle, no weight loss or diarrhea. Best thing for any dog if they’re used to a dog park setting Thank you for your care and dedication to all of those special kids you take care of

Dog did well. People are very nice. Both times I picked up my dog he was in a crate, though. I would have liked him to have gotten some socializing and exercise.

We love Double dog ranch almost as much as our dog! If you want your dog to run, play, chase squirrels and make a lot of friends you will love this place!

Our boy has loved his time here, so far only trial and daycare, but more to come. Great peeps, he can't wait to get out of the truck!

I would not recommend leaving your pup here! I specifically informed them my Pug does not do well in heat and they told me they have a a/c. When I picked him up today I asked them how did he do and the girl at the front desk just said he did okay that he worried them a bit and had to mist him with water since he was hot. They wouldn’t have had to do any of that if they had a a/c like they told me they had. My poor dog came out all traumatized and was over heating!!! 1 hour later and he is still not okay!!! The staff isn’t welcoming either! Horrible service all around!!!!!

We love the boarding. We took our 9 month pup and she did great. I love that they have private play time. We have gone twice now and both times the staff was friendly. The prices are reasonable. I would recommend for your dog while you are away.

After 2 visits my dog has found his favorite spot to board. He's always happy to pull in and get dropped off.

I think it's extremely important that I inform everyone that is considering boarding their dog at Dogs Day Inn this information. I was boarding my two dogs there for 8 days and on the 7th day I received a phone call from Karen, the owner of Dogs Day Inn, at 9:30 am to inform me their boarding facility was broken into and that my dog Sandi was missing. When I received the phone call, I was in Hawaii and I felt completely helpless being so far away from home because I wasn't able to help find Sandi. Karen told me she was the only dog missing, which I find strange because my other dog Macy was in the same kennel, but thankfully Macy was still there. Karen informed me that she reported the break in to the Apple Valley Sheriff's Department and also informed Apple Valley Animal Shelter my dog was missing. I asked if she reported Sandi missing to the other animal shelters and she said no because Sandi went missing in Apple Valley. That does not make sense to me why she didn't think it was important enough to call Hesperia Animal Shelter as well. I did go to the AV Sheriff Dept to pick up the incident report and Karen reported the break in and Sandi missing at 7:30 am, but didn't tell me until 9:30 am. I'm trying to understand why she waited 2 hours to tell me Sandi was missing. I could have had my friends looking for Sandi 2 hours sooner if Karen had told me when she realized Sandi was missing. Karen told me that an unknown suspect went through Sandi and Macy's kennel to go to the office and that Sandi must have ran away through the open gate. I'm having a hard time believing that Sandi would run away but my other dog Macy wouldn't because they both were in the same kennel. The bottom line is that Sandi would have NEVER went missing if the owner had the kennels and the gates locked. The doggie doors are closed at night so the dogs can't go outside but they are not locked so that means anyone can open the doggie doors and either let a dog/dogs out or steal as many as they want. There is no way anyone should be able to walk through an unlocked boarding facility that is being paid and entrusted to care for a family's pet and in most peoples' opinion, family member. Also, they do not have cameras so I'm unable to know exactly what happened to Sandi. They also do not have any type of alarm system. Another thing that is upsetting and very inconsiderate of the owner is that the only time I was contacted was when she called me to tell me Sandi was missing. She never once called me to ask if I needed any help finding Sandi or if there was anything else she could do for me. I don't know what she is doing to help us find our precious family member other than she made flyers that I asked her to do and she gave them to me so I could post them. When my friend went to Dogs Day Inn to help look for Sandi she told me that none of the workers were outside helping to find Sandi except the owner. My friend thought that was odd because they were acting like it was no big deal. All of Karen's employees should have been out looking for Sandi. This has been extremely hard for my family and our other dog Macy. It's been 2 weeks since Sandi has been missing and all I want is to have my baby back home where she belongs. It is an awful feeling to find out on vacation that one of your dogs is missing when you have entrusted a business to take care of both of your dogs/your family members. I wish I could really know what truly happened to Sandi. The validity of the story from the owner as to what happened just seems very suspicious to say the least. Sandi has been missing since 1/21/2020 according to the owner.

We have now used Dogs Day 2 times our bigger dog is a little of a pain before we found him at truck stop. We figured out that he had been abused. He was skin and bones, cigarette burns on him, you couldn't raise your hand without him cowering, he didn't know what toys were or even how to wag his tail. It's been a year now and he's much better but he's still a little jumpy and is not good with men. At Dog Day they show him love and patience and understanding he's not a bad dog but he had a hard life for the first 2 years of his life. With his family he is a happy dog but in a stressful situation he can be aggressive. But again at Dog Days they are loving to him even with all his "faults". I have recommend Dog days a few times now and will be happy to do so in the future.

Prices are reasonable. My dog was very well taken care of and feed. They care about your pet and will give you their expert opinion on the dog food your feeding him. Whether you want it or not. No BS here. Ruff around the edges in a sweet way just like your favorite Aunt. 25 plus years in business can't go wrong. Also very clean.

This kennel and it's owners are the very best at what they do. They are professional and run a wonderful facility, they LOVE the dogs in their care and are so diligent and go above and beyond for all of them. I am amazed and feel blessed to have found them at any price but they are so reasonable it is unbelievable. I board there very frequently and I thank GOD for Cathleen and Joe - I could NEVER imagine putting my pups anywhere else - you are a fool if you do.

The lady was rude and abrasive. Her husband was nice. She was rough with my dog, and overcharged me a day. My dog came out of the kennel with a scraped nose, and it cost me almost $80 to get rid of the kennel cough that she developed while she was there. She had never been sick a day in her life prior to that. I will never use this place again.

Just called to see if I can do an overnight stay for my dog. I have never experienced such a bad conversation to have my dog stay overnight. Worst of all, they hanged upon me. How horrible!! **If i can't trust you to have a conversation, how can I trust you to watch my dog? 🤷🏼‍♂️**

Smaller then some but bigger hearted then all the other kennels I've been to and they will bath your fluffy popohead and make him/her smell and feel great!

I needed a pet sitter last minuet and thankfully Kristy had an opening when I needed it. She came referred from a friend but her reviews speak for themselves. I have a 6 month old puppy and she'd never stayed anywhere else, needless to say I was nervous. We met Kristy beforehand and I saw how well she ran things, I was super content in leaving our furbaby. She had great communication, gave me updates if I needed them and the best part my puppy got the socialization she needed. I was super pleased with her care that she's already booked for another visit!!

Kristy is the best dog sitter you can find. There is no one as caring and hands-on as she is. We had her take care of our shy girl for 3 days and everything was perfect. She even posts on her Instagram page when you're away so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. We'll keep using Kristy for all of our pet sitting needs!

Kristy has been my number-one dog sitter for at least 10 years. She has many years of experience, and I feel like I am leaving my pets in my own care when I have her come to stay while I go away. All of my animals love her. Her attention to each one of them is outstanding. She is good at delivering medications and doing everything that needs to be done. She has excellent skill in taking care of senior dogs and fragile baby animals as well. I have been very blessed to have found Kristy, and I know that God is with her when she takes care of my animals.

We had drop-in care for our cats for a few days. She did everything we needed plus communicated with us daily. She will work with your requirements and give you a fair price. Kristy has been our pet sitter for over 5 years now in Riverside. She is an outstanding animal caregiver and always does an excellent job. Kristy, has been caring for my dog Cali (42 lbs plott-hound) mix for about 6 months now. Kristy has been very accommodating, she cares for Cali 3 days a week. I am really happy w the care she has given to Cali and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker in the area.

Kristy is so sweet & did a wonderful job caring for my 4 year old pom-malti poo, Hachi! We haven't been on a family vacation in years, so it was his very first time pet boarding. Prior to the trip, we met up with Kristy which helped ease any nerves. She answered all of my questions & I filled out a form that she provided to ensure that Hachi would receive all the proper care. Kristy sent daily videos/photos of him - making fur friends, going on dog walks & hanging out in the big backyard! It was so comforting to know how much Hachi enjoyed his stay. Just like our family went on vacation, he was on his own little vacation too! Thank you Kristy for your kindness & for taking such good care of my little boy. We will definitely be back!

Today our cat Molly will once again be staying at her little palace. She never likes the trip in the car but as soon as she's in there, she sees Deanna and she's happy. Molly's loved and taken care of and never wants to come home!

They truly care for your pets. Special needs or instructions are welcomed and followed. Larger dogs are allowed to play together outside and they even have a doggie pool for the hot summer days. We feel very comfortable leaving our dogs there.

All of the 5 star reviews from other people are spot on. *I have a dog, so my review is specifically about the dog services*. I have had only excellent experiences with this mom and pop boarding facility. They allowed me to tour the areas where my dog would be staying. Their rates are very reasonable, and it's such an added bonus that animals get play time/socialization here, vs at other places, where they are essentially kept in their dog runs the entire time. Overnight boarding as well as daycare are offered . They are located a little off the beaten path, but I assure you, they are worth it and your dogs will appreciate you for making the decision to stay here. Thank you for accepting me and my dog as a client. 🥰

My only complaints is that they are so great here that I just keep telling all my fellow dog owners at the dog park and now they are getting booked up! So we just moved to the area and I was so nervous to drop my 2 dogs off as I have never had anyone but my family watch them. Honestly, I think my 2 dogs had an amazing time while here! I believe they just played in the dog yard with other dogs for 2 days straight (I forgot to ask for certain). They both came home so tired and stupid-happy looking! My husband was the one to pick them up from here but he told me that one of my dogs even kissed the owner goodbye, which says a lot as this dog is very shy around people.

They took great care of our 2 cats and even special care of our dog, Riley who has had a tough past. Rates are extremely reasonable and staff is well qualified. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I call the owner, Deanna, the "animal whisperer" because the animals just love her! She provides a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the cats and dogs! Took my girl there to stay for a week. Her suite was nice and all the dogs seemed happy there and got along well. The place is clean and well taken care of along with your pet.
