Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. K & C gave us pics & updates as requested, and we loved seeing our pets have such a good time with them! They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! They were communicative before the sit, during, and after. Kelly and Chris were the ideal sitters in every way. We’d welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to others. Thanks you two!
Martin was a very conscientious and thoughtful house sitter who took excellent care of our pets and our home. He was reliable, self-sufficient, and a very good communicator. He clearly enjoys and cares for animals, and our house was spotless when we returned. We recommend him wholeheartedly!
Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter. If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!
Lyndsey and Jordan were wonderful pet sitters and house guests. They kept us informed of how our pets were doing and went above and beyond to care for them. We felt entirely comfortable leaving our home and pets in their hands and arrived home to find everything tidy and the pets well cared for. We would absolutely have them sit again if the need arose.
Deboraj took great care of the apartment and of our goofy unsociable cat. She went out of her way to bring catnip and make friends with Rowan. She communicated often and cared to be as good a house and pet sitter as could be. I can gladly recommend her highly to anyone else looking. Thank you Deborah.
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
Anna was the perfect sitter for Tali, Mac and Sox. From the first moment we met Anna we all got on extremely well and we had no worries about leaving our pets in her safe hands. Anna gave them loads of fun time and company, lovely walks and snuggles in front of the TV. Thanks for all the fun we had before and after the sit too. We would not hesitate to recommend Anna for any sit.
Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!
Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

Alex has groomed our pups for several years. She is always kind n loving to our dogs and does a great job grooming. Also the $10 coupons are always appreciated. Bev
We use the self wash every week and it’s great and very convenient. They have every amenity you need (shampoo, conditioner, towels, grooming tools, etc). It can get dirty in there during peak times but the staff do a pretty good job making sure the stations and floor stay reasonably clean for use. The owner is also very responsive and makes efforts to rectify issues quickly. I wish they enforced or put up more signage for the entitled dog owners who think they can leave their junk all over the drying stations to “hold” them so no one else can use them while they wash their dog. It’s a first come, first serve area for all stations. Be mindful of how busy it can be and be reasonable with your time and usage of the space. Crazy this even needs to be said, thought it was basic decency and etiquette. Signage with clear rules of how to use the space would be very helpful.
I’m beyond frustrated with the service at this place. The front desk staff is completely unprofessional, and my experience with the groomer was unacceptable. While trying to trim my corgi’s nails, the groomer accidentally shaved a patch of hair off his back. If it had been any deeper, my dog could have been seriously hurt. To make matters worse, the groomer only left a voice message to inform us about the accident. The front desk staff was unapologetic, repeatedly insisting that a $10 discount was sufficient because it’s just a patch of hair that will grow back. I can’t imagine they’d feel the same way if they went for a manicure and ended up with a bald spot—they’d be outraged! They need to seriously reassess their techniques and figure out how to avoid these accidents in the future. This was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Update: The owner reached out to discuss the issues we had with the front desk and the groomer that day. He was understanding and offered us a voucher for a free grooming in the future. We appreciate his attitude and the fact that he values customer satisfaction. We might consider coming back once our dog's fur grows back more.
I do not recommend this place. I was accused once before of “free lancing” because I brought a client dog here (I am a dog trainer, NOT a dog groomer) because I needed to give them a medicated bath. Apparently my photo was taken or something to put on their wall so that their staff knew to not welcome me back to wash dogs. So today I brought my own personal dogs in because I needed to bathe them. It wasn’t until I was done with my first dog and was bringing in my second dog that I was informed that I wasn’t allowed to “freelance” in their establishment despite having my own personal dogs to bring with me. So I had to pay for one two & leave with my other 2 dogs unbathed. There is no specification anywhere about what they consider “free lancing”. If they don’t want other non groomer professionals coming to utilize their facility, they should make that abundantly clear on their website & in their facility. I will not be recommending this place to any of my own clients, friends or other professionals in the area.
I love Barkzone I have used their Dog Daycare for more than 2 years and my dogs love it. I recently used their boarding and I was very impressed with the everything. Highly recommend. Everyone is really friendly and they genuinely care about the dogs.
We have been to self wash at Barkzone and loved it so this time I booked a grooming service. My dogs had a previous bad experience so extremely nervous and anxious. He would not let me go so the staff said I can stay. His groomer was Danielle she was awesome, simple awesome. She introduced herself to my dog and talked with him the whole time. 2 hours non stop in calm baby voice very calmly so it naturally made him calm. She explained it to him what she was doing even though he won’t understand a thing but he’s used to us talking so it made him relaxed. Danielle is simply amazing!!! If you are looking for a groomer for a dog with anxiety she is the one! She didn’t do anything against his will if he whined she moved to do something else. Very good technique! Last but not the least the facility is clean.
Yeah, it’s crazy. I wouldn’t take my dog there either. I took him there, when I pick him up.He was wet and I could tell something was wrong with him. I asked them what happened they said nothing. I said why is he wet. They said they just cleaned him. I Walked out. I tried to get him to react like normal. Then I started rubbing him and found bite marks on his neck. I went back in and confronted them. They said nothing happened. And then one of the employees told me. Oh yeah he got bit, but it wasn’t that hard. I took him to the vet. They said he had puncture wound on his neck. It’s just amazing how they would try to hide , any other spot you would think they would normally notify you. I was so mad. It’s taking me a couple years to write this. But every time I see the name, Bark zone it just infuriates me.
We have used Barkzone for over 6 years, first at Hillsboro and then at Bethany. Koto can't wait to walk through the front door. Ryan has been the only groomer we have ever used and he is amazingly 👏 We have boarded Koto many times and never have encountered any issues. We can watch on the Webcam and see that everyone who works there loves their job and treats all the furbabies as though they were their own. Between Koto and my granddog Lance we are thrilled to have such a loving environment to entrust our pets to. We have never encountered any person there who is not friendly yet professional. Thank you for providing that.
I don’t always post reviews, but barkzone has gone above and beyond to take great care of my pups! We usually bring them for daycare and see pictures and get good reports back. They take all sorts of measures to keep the pups cool in the summer. I just got my Keeshound groomed here and they did a fantastic job! They knew how to handle double coated dogs and it’s honestly the best grooming he has ever gotten. I would recommend the daycare and grooming services!
Our pup got his toes trimmed and shaved and it was a very calm experience for him. We were able to be there with him during the process to give him encouragement and give us peace of mind since he’s usually squirmy about these things. Props to the groomer!
Noah’s Arf is absolutely wonderful! They are always kind and helpful and I appreciate the support and care they show for my dog! Can’t recommend them enough! (Pictured a happy puppy after daycare)
I have left my Chiweenie at Noah’s Arf one time since the new management took took over. As far as I know, she’s gotten good care there. I really don’t know how I would know much about her care unless I stay a 24 hour period with her. That isn’t reasonable, of course. Recently, I was going to send her there. However, the $55 a night fee was prohibitive for me. I was able to get a family member to watch her for the week and paid her instead. On the website, it indicated that small animals get a discount. I asked about that, but they informed me that was only for small animals like hamsters and rabbits in a cage. I know they have the small well-behaved dogs running around in the office during the day. I suggested that they give a discount for those dogs. My response to that request was that “they have they their operating costs”.~~So, unless I get in a real pinch, I will probably use friends or family when I need to leave my little doggy. And now that I have left a review that may is “less than positive,” I will probably not leave her there.
I’ve been using Noah’s Arf for Grooming for the last 9months. I’ve had 3 different groomers and Taylor has been the best! I have my Yorkies ears cut a specific way and she’s nailed it every time. Thanks Taylor!
Noah’s Arf is not only a respectful, and clean environment, but the team CARES about each and EVERY dog. They are obviously trained in the understanding of dog psychology and I have watched my dog grow to be a happier, and more social pup thanks to their day care. My 4 year old Goldendoodle used to be constantly overwhelmed without me, and scared around energetic dogs…now he body slams the door with excitement to see his Paw Pals! They also have such convenient grooming options available while your dog is there. While the cost is totally reasonable for my wallet.. I honestly couldn’t put a price on the relief I feel knowing they are available 7 days a week, my dog is safe, happy, and also not picking up a bunch of bad behaviors (since their floor staff is so great at managing). They say “raising a (dog) kid takes a village” and I would recommend Noah’s Arf to anyone that needs that extra help for vacations, busy schedules, or just to help your pup burn off extra energy.
Mousse has gone to Noah's Arf daycare for nearly 1 1/2 years - since he was a "little" puppy. He's now 19 months old and loves every day he spends with them. I couldn't be happier with his care, the facility and staff. Most importantly - Tracy, Shane and their entire staff treat Mousse like he's their own! 💕 Noah's Arf is truly his second home and family. Thank you for caring for my crazy boy!
I have used Noah's Arf for both day visits and week long extended care for my 2 very active Husky Sisters. One of which is fully blind but very active. They have received wonderful care and love to spend time with the Noah's Arf Staff and the other dogs. I highly recommend them and will be using them again this summer while on a 9 day campout. My Husky's love going there for daycare!
I have never used a boarding facility before, so I didn’t know what to expect. I just got a new kitty and had to plan a trip. I was so happy I chose Noah’s Arf! They sent me pictures of the owners daughter playing with my kitty (Chester) and he was so happy! They kept him clean, well fed and gave him lots of attention. Staff is very nice and friendly. I will of course bring Chester back!!!
We went to the indoor dog park and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The temperature was well controlled and the space was nice and big so my dog could get her energy out. It was also clean and on top of having treats for the dogs they also had treats in the form of drinks for humans they served on the side. I definitely would recommend this place and we look forward to coming back!
I just want to say gabby is the best groomer our dog has ever had. We have a Tibetan mastiff (lots and lots and lotttss of hair) and we had a groomer turn us down and our last groomer say they were not advanced enough for him. Not because of his behavior but because of his hair. What I did not realize is that they had not been grooming him like he needed to be and his coat got wayyyy too thick. My husband and I had also spent multiple hours a week brushing him. I left Baloo with gabby for the day and he came back and he was a completely different dog (in a good way of course) just in time for summer. So happy I was able to find this place and very happy with the result will definitely be coming back! I added a before and after photos
Noah's Arf is an excellent place to board your pet. They provide a great standard of care, and ask plenty of thorough questions on intake to make sure your pet has a good stay. The staff is very personable, and aren't trying to rush you in and out like some other boarders. Our dog isn't a happy traveler, but whenever she realizes we are going to Noah's she perks right up, and everyone there seems to know her name. The report cards you get after your pet's stay are always a treat as well, and helps reassure you that your pet is in good hands.
We have been their clients since 2010. They always treat our dogs like family! My Bernese mountain puppy and retriever mix look amazing after they were groomed! I like the big dog runs and they get to play with other dogs! The staff is very flexible if you need anything
We have used Rock Creek Kennels any time we have needed our dogs boarded for the last 4 years. They have always been super friendly and caring. The dogs love coming here too!
They took great care of our lab Orange 🧡 I was nervous boarding her the first time because it’s hard to find people you trust to take care of your dog, but they were kind and sent pictures! Seemed Orange had a blast! …
I boarded my dog here while on a trip to Idaho and I was super nervous because I hadn’t left him anywhere without family before and they were so good with him! He was so happy and excited when I picked him up. They sent me pictures and videos to update me aswell to calm my nerves! I will never board my animals anywhere else!
Trusted for the care of all my fur-babies over 25+ years now. Excellent care at a fair price. I wouldn't kennel my critters anywhere else.
My favorite place to bring my kiddos! The dogs always come home happy, healthy, and smelling so clean from their bath. They always confirm that care for each of my dogs is the same as last time and have always been able to accommodate even the most last minute of my travel plans. I love being completely sure that my dogs are in capable hands when I am away. The customer service and quality of care is amazing, I would highly recommend!!
Love taking our fur babies here. We've been using this kennel for over 30 years- wouldn't go anywhere else!
Charlie had a blast while we were away in Europe. He made lots of new friends, and was well supervised and cared for. It's really obvious why Rock Creek Kennels has been around so long. We'll definitely be using them again.
I have always had a wonderful experience and love bringing my pups here. My dogs are stoked to see me when I come home, but honestly would care less if I just left them here, they love this place. They always come home happy and healthy. The staff is so friendly and the location is very beautiful and quiet. We are grateful we found Rock Creek and highly recommend them! Happy dog = Happy life
We have actually been customers of Rock Creek Kennels for over 20 years. Our current dog stays several times a year. They take excellent care of her and really seem to like her and care about her! They are also very easy to work with. A few years ago we moved about 60 miles outside of Portland, and we still take her back there. The drive is worth knowing she is somewhere she feels comfortable and we do too!
The staff is super friendly. The dogs love to go play with their friends. I enjoy they have cameras so you can check on your babies. They also do enrichment activities our huskies love!
We brought our dog here. Loved this place. Staff was super friendly. They had every service we could possibly need and it was a convenient location with a reasonable price... then one day we were notified of an incident regarding one of the owners physically abusing the larger dogs. We weren't sure what to believe but other reviews contain proof. Rather sad. Our dog allegedly wasn't a victim but she did come home a few times with large lumps on her head caused by "rough playing". We believed it at the time. Now we aren't sure. Either way we can't take the risk, would you? Would go back under new ownership.
My dog has gone to camp bow wow since he was a puppy almost 4 years now. Recently new owners have taken over as of Dec 1st ,it was brought to my attention that one of the owners was caught on camera kicking and hitting dogs. I did confront the owner about the incidents and asked her for their side of what happened. I was told yes this was true and the employee was terminated and no longer allowed back on the premises. I then told the manager was this not your partner who was in with the large dogs and was the person who abused the dogs? she became defensive said yes but "the facility was left with minimal staffing and she had no choice but to have him help (he has no training whatsoever) she did state her partner is no longer allowed on premises during business hours but is a maintenance employee " she feels that the current staff is wanting her to make an example of his actions which she will not do because he is part owner and her partner ???? She also stated she has been in the business for 15 years which to me was surprising because with this much knowledge you would think she would know better!!! I let her know the camp bow wow staff has always been great but due to this incident and her side of the story on what occurred and lack of responsibility being taken my dog will NO longer go to camp ...I do not feel this is a SAFE place for him
I never worry about Betty or Jack when they’re at Camp Bow Wow. Everyone there truly treats them like their own pets. I love the fact that there’s an app and no matter where I am, I can check in on them and their friends playing. Thai, Katie, and Aiden in the grooming station are rad and I love their energy and how they treat all the dogs as individuals. Camp Bow Wow treats Betty (and now jack too!) like family, and we appreciate them so much for that. Updated to add: When I originally wrote this review I was a pet parent, but now I am an employee too! 12.10.2024 - if you’ve taken your dogs to CBW, chances are pretty good you remember my face, because I was evening front of house for about a year. Well, here’s an update I didn’t want to have to make, but James Nash sold CBW and new owners (as far as I can tell, it’s actually the new owners boyfriend) went in the yard and started hitting and kicking the dogs. I have attached the evidence of him kicking my dog to this review. Betty was literally raised at this daycare and not taking her there anymore is going to hurt. Thai and the rest of the crew are amazing and truly love and care about the dogs, unfortunately this behavior AS AN OWNER or someone associated with an owner is not ok and my dogs will not be going back. You don’t have to listen to a word I say, I don’t care, but watch the video and tell me what you would do if that was your dog, because I’m at a loss. I used to recommend this place to folks in my current job as a csr at a local vet, but no more. Sniff is amazing if you’re looking for a safe daycare where your dog won’t get kicked or hit. The man who hit my dog is still employed at this place. The new owner will tell you he’s not, but he’s actually her handyman and boyfriend and showing up after hours and being allowed in to the business when none of the employees who witnessed him kicking our dogs are there. The owner chose him over her profit and our pets.
Please understand that what has happened at this location has nothing to do with the employees, they are all amazing people that truly care for your animals. The issue here lies with the NEW OWNERS! Again this wasn’t an employee that hit the dogs it was the NEW OWNERS BOYFRIEND! This situation is horrible but these employees are doing everything in their power to ensure that your pet is going to be under the best care possible. Again this is an issue with the OWNERS not the employees.
I called to schedule some training lessons as they have lower prices for private lessons than some of the other places around. Scheduled two weeks in advance for a meet and greet. Took off work, drove a decent amount, and showed up just to be told the trainer had already went home. They called him and he wasn’t coming back and I was given no explanation as to why. One of the workers even confirmed that I was on the schedule. If it was an emergency or something like that I would understand but it sounded like they just didn’t check the schedule. I left my number to receive a call about rescheduling and it’s been a week with no return. Needless to say I took my dog elsewhere because if they can’t even bother to notify me/reach out then I don’t think they should be handling my dog.
Absolutely disgusting behavior by the staff. Abusing the dogs, hitting and kicking them. This is outrageous. Also way too many dogs per room with only one handler, not a safe place for your dogs to go EVER. As a professional in the dog industry I am horrified that places like Camp Bow Wow exist. Stop supporting these business who do not know how to handle and treat dogs with respect and safety. Shame on you.
I boarded my dog for a little over 2 weeks. I played with her fetch after coming back and found her in pretty good shape! The new dog trainer told me that he worked with her and she was indeed more sociable after her stay. I strongly recommend camp bow wow Hillsboro.
Under new ownership who’s been caught abusing the dogs, hitting and kicking them. A lot of staff leaving because of unfair treatment and Gaslighting when the staff confronted the owners about the animal abuse. Lastly, too many dogs per room with only one handler. Please note this is no longer a safe place for your dogs to go.
The staff are so friendly and really care about the dogs they serve. We love coming here! I always know that my pup will be well cared for and her shenanigans will be lovingly corrected, while also allowing her to have fun and socialize. I love that I can check in on the cameras any time I want.
I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the care my dog received while staying with Toby. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that she and her dogs Raven, Jonah, and Wally were a wonderful fit for my pup. As this was our first time leaving him, we were understandably anxious, but Toby quickly put our worries to rest. She is truly a godsend, radiating warmth and kindness. Knowing my dog was in such loving hands made all the difference. During his stay, he had the time of his life! The way Toby interacts with her dogs and my pup is nothing short of special. He returned home happy, healthy, clearly not wanting to leave his new friends. I highly recommend Toby and Wild Pup Adventures to anyone looking for exceptional pet care. She is an extraordinary human who genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. Thank you for making this experience so positive for all of us!
Saw Wild Pups on instagram and that it is a local, women owned business. We wanted to support! Our dog cannot spend all day adventuring but, we did a meet and greet with Toby and are able to board with her pack. Our dog loves getting to hang out with the Wild Pups and Toby is fabulous to work with. I don’t know how she does it but, the dogs she works with are so fortunate. Thanks for all that you do for this community Wild Pup Adventures!!
Words can't express the love my dog, Roo, and I have for Wild Pup Adventures. I moved to Portland in early 2020 and tried out a few different services, but I knew when Roo came home his first day on his adventure with Toby that this was the best one. Roo is a 3-year old golden retriever with a bossy attitude and endless energy and I have personally never seen him so tired as when he comes back from his weekly adventure. Toby, the owner/trainer, is truly a dog whisperer. Not only has she helped me with individual training sessions for Roo, but she manages to keep 6-7 dogs at her full attention the entire time she is out in the wilderness with them. Toby takes them to different terrain and places around Portland every week and her knowledge of the forest/beach/anywhere is incredible!! You can truly see the love in my dog's eyes when we walk up to her van and in all of the amazing pictures that she takes during the day. I moved to Bend recently and was SO sad to not be apart of WPA anymore. If anyone is looking for the best thing you can buy for your dog, I always recommend this service. I would give 150 stars if google let me, we will MISS YOU TOBY THANK YOU!!!
There are no adequate words that encapsulate how awesome Wild Pup Adventure is!!! Our wild pup Lucy has been adventuring with Toby and team since she was six months old and it's by far the best thing we could have ever done for our favorite furry family member. First of all, Toby is an incredible leader and small business owner. Her knowledge of dog care, training, wilderness, and safety is beyond impressive. The outdoor treks that Toby plans and executes for these pups make the rest of us who are stuck at work all day very jealous. We get to live vicariously through the beautiful photos that Tobi captures and shares with the parents after each adventure. If you have an energetic dog at home and want to do something special to improve their quality of life, I highly recommend signing them up for Wild Pup Adventure!
Wild Pup Adventures/Toby has transformed our desert rescue pup into an obedient - water loving - wilderness partner beyond our expectation. The joy and confidence from her pack experience with WPA makes going to the dog park and hiking pure pleasure! I wish there was more stars above can’t recommend this program and Toby enough! Steve&MJ
You can see the pure joy in not only the dog’s faces but in Toby’s face as she does something she genuinely enjoys. I have never seen a group of dogs so well behaved and having such a great time! Toby is not only a dog whisperer, she is their pack leader and brings them on great adventures, always with the dog’s best interest! 5 PAWS! 🐾🩷🐾🩷🐾🩷🐾🩷🐾
my baby girl loves Toby and her wild pup pack so much! I feel so blessed to have found Toby. The life my pup gets to live thanks to the incredibly thoughtful and hard work Toby does is truly incredible! like dream worthy!
Toby is so knowledgeable and puts meticulous thought and love for the dogs into every little things she does. I have never met anyone with so much expert knowledge and passion about dogs and their behaviors, safety, and the quality of their experiences.
I had been a long time follower of Wild Pup Adventures and I’m thrilled that my dog finally joined in on the fun. I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and care provided. This business is truly a gem…there is no other like it. This is because of the owner’s knowledge and skilled intuition. She is the only person I would trust with my dog!! Thank you!
Wild Pup Adventures is heaven on earth for dogs. Toby has taken her business model and turned it to a haven (and heaven) for dogs and owners alike. The dogs come home happy, fulfilled and exhausted, like they are meant to. There is nothing around comparable to the experience she provides and the dogs are able to experience life in ways that unfortunately most do not. Her experience, understanding and education of canine psychology is unparalleled and I only wish she could clone herself. Accept no substitutes. She and her years of experience are absolutely unparalleled. I love everything she does because she does it for her love for dogs and their quality of life. Only a true animal lover could possibly understand and appreciate what she does. She has extreme knowledge of dog breeds and their capabilities and which dogs can handle the experience and which can’t. She is picky about which ones she takes in because she cares about their quality of life and the experience they have. She’s very educated in all things based in animal science and is definitely one of a kind. Thanks Toby for all that you do for animals and spreading your knowledge and awareness about dog safety far and wide and caring about dogs over profit. You’re the real deal.
Mandy is the BEST groomer! Another reviewer mentioned their rescue with anxiety and I have one too! Mandy is great with all dogs but shes navigated our pups anxiety and aging issues with so much care & compassion. My pup loves her and it makes me happy that he is so happy to go to his “spa day” with Mandy!

Our girls love coming to Dogs Day Out for daycare. We have also used their boarding services multiple times and it always feels like the pups had a good time during their stay. Absolutely love the people working there, front desk, with the pups on the back and grooming.
Dogs day out has been our daycare and boarding facility since we moved to the area 8 years ago. Our pup Maple can have a bit of stranger danger, but the staff at Dogs day out has been amazing and she absolutely loves it there! She was well taken care of, even during the ice storm a few weeks ago, when we got stuck in CA a bit longer than expected. This picture is how cozy our pup was during her last stay. Our other pup Bagel also goes there now, and both dogs always come back extra tired and happy. Highly recommended!
Thankful for the Nextdoor community members for recommending Dogs Day Out. Came from Camp Bow Wow for their grooming services and we had terrible experience, so we appreciate it when we experience top notch service. People here obviously love their dogs. The minute you walk in you can tell this based on how they talk to their dogs. Especially the groomer! (sorry I forgot her name but she’s extremely sweet💕) Thankful for such a cute groom that you gave my baby and I know he had a good time with you guys. They were so understanding to let my baby run around with other dogs because I was running late to pick him up. Thank you! Will come again for my other dog
The staff here are amazing my puppy had never been to a groomer before and when we went to meet them he didn't take long before he was comfortable being around them which made me feel very good about having them taking care of him since he is not fully socialized but he is getting better.
Phoenix did a wonderful groom on my 2 Cavashon pups. Place is clean, staff is friendly and price is competitive. Highly recommend!
First off I want to say Mandy and the staff are phenomenal. My dog Max is a rescue so he suffers from anxiety and self image issues but he loves going to visit Mandy and the gang. Every time he comes prancing out with the confidence of a show dog, showing off his new haircut. The services are affordably priced and there's a lot of TLC from the staff given to our furry friends.
10 out of 5 stars. I cannot say enough good things about Dogs Day Out! We have just recently moved to the area, and needed to find a good daycare & occasional boarding for Billie, our 6 year old Blue Heeler. The onboarding process was super easy & quick. We were able to setup a meet & greet evaluation in the same week that we provided all the necessary vaccination info. The staff have been super welcoming, easy to communicate with, and exhibit a strong knowledge of canine care. So far, Billie has spent four full days with Dogs Day Out, and every day she comes home happy, tired, and ready to relax with us after work. Dogs Day Out has taken exceptional care of Billie. We are grateful & relieved to know Billie is spending her days with some great folks. Being new to the area, it could have been a stressful situation finding the right daycare. Dogs Day Out has taken all of that stress away and provided such a positive experience!
My pooches love this place. Always eager to go in. That’s all I need to know; they love it. (Some other dog daycare places my doggies didn’t want to enter.). My little dog gets her grooming/clipping done there and she looks lovely afterwards.
