Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter. If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working. We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime. Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

Top notch! I love how Pawpular Pets goes above and beyond. Not only do I have the piece of mind that I can depend on my precious Taquito gets the exercise she needs when I am not home, but the attention to detail, and all the small extra things I didn't even expect, like bringing in my packages that were on the front porch, pictures of her playing, and a cute little bandana around her neck! I can always expect such quality care for my pup! The only complaint that I have, is that I think my dog loves her walker more than me! I can always depend on Pawpular Pets to be professional and courteous, but yet treat us like family. More businesses should be run this way! Excellent service. It was so nice meeting Joslyn and she handled my dogs in a very professional manner. They are timid and don’t open up to people very well but she took her time and treated them as if they were her own.
We have a 17 year old Corgi that requires a bit more attention than most other dogs. From the start, the attention to detail and communication we received were the best we’ve ever experienced, and we’ve used many pet sitting services. Laura and her staff are excellent, it’s that simple. Highly recommended. My dogs love it there, more than any other daycare that I use. I travel back and forth from DC. I cannot recommend enough. My only issue is that they are closed on the weekend:-) lily gets ready and waits at the door to go:-)
There are not enough stars in this review. I've had pups my whole life and this is the BEST kennel ever! My Jack goes once a week for daycare and he absolutely loves it! The exceptional staff treat the dogs like they are their own. The dogs get lots of individual attention in a clean and safe environment. They take photos of the days activity and post them on line which is a feature I really enjoy and have used for photo prints. A big thank you to Laura and ALL the wonderful staff. I have used Simply at Home Kennel many times, they are consistently friendly and welcome our Labrador. Our dog is always super excited to go in and happy when we pick him up. Love the daily pics they send out.
My sweet dog, Jolene, was welcomed to Simply at Home’s daycare as a precursor to a future boarding. I initially felt guilty leaving her (I adopted this lovebug from the SPCA; she was a 5-year old stray and I did not want her to again feel deserted). Simply at Home’s staff, however, enthusiastically provided loving care during her stay, an immensely clean environment, pop cups, and a supervised playgroup with other pups, along with pictures, all of which made me, and Jolene(!), very happy.
My dog absolutely loves it here. He plays his heart out, then comes home and doesn't move until the next day! He's a rescue, and his confidence, as well as his trust in the staff have absolutely flourished in the 2 years we have been bringing him here. Everyone there has such a passion for animals, and they figure out the perfect combination of companions for your dog to play with. I'm so glad we found this place!

We have been using Simply at Home for our dogs as their “second home” for 8 years and my dogs love this place! They do feel like they are Home when there. The owner is a such a hard working woman, devoted to her business and her staff is the best for they take really great care of all these pets. Highly recommend them!!!
This place is amazing! I called last minute to board my babies and they took them sight unseen and treated them well . I loved receiving pictures of my furbabies each day and everywhere I had access to see the kennels were cleaned exceptionally well, and when I picked them back up, they of course were excited to see me, but there wasn't a stress & fear in their eyes i've received when I have boarded them previously. The staff are friendly and easy to speak with, and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys to care for you four-legged babies. Already have another reservation in place, but i'm thinking of just taking them before then to daycare once a week for the socialization with the other babies there.
Laura and her staff take excellent care of my two pug puppies. Whether it’s an overnight stay or daycare play date, they are well cared for, and happy dogs are returned to me. The facility is spotless, and everyone cares for the animals that walk through the door. I heartily recommend this facility for anyone who has a four-legged creature wanting the best of care.
Took my 2 dogs and they were well taken care of . My dogs came home happy and normal.The facility is spotless and Smells good!!! I've boarded dogs several places and never had a good experience like this place. My one dog gets very nervous easily and when we picked him up he was very much himself.

It was obvious from the very first communication, that Amber Kelly is a true professional, smart businesswoman and understanding pet care provider. We recently returned from a 2-week Italy vacation and were extremely anxious in arranging quality care for our 2 dogs. One a 6-year-old, energetic Lab and the other, a 16-year-old, deaf, arthritic but oh so sweet, American Eskimo mini. We had never left them for such a long period. Our 16-year-old required special attention. Amber’s team provided overnight care, mid-day walks and evening meals and feeding. All services/appointments were on-time and provided by caring and affectionate walkers. They provided many snapshots, and detailed reports of their time spent with our pets. I venture to say that our pups did not miss us! Amber’s intake form was extremely thorough and well thought-out. The portal used for scheduling, reporting, and invoicing is very easy to use. All communications are sent to your email as well as being available on the portal. Any questions/concerns we had were answered and resolved by Amber promptly. Whether you need occasional walks or long-term pet sitting needs, look no further than Beach Buddies for attentive, compassionate care provided by sensitive professionals.

Beach Buddies is such a gift! Amber and her staff have made it possible to go away and not worry about our two Labradors. We haven’t had that luxury in quite a long time. We received pics and notes throughout the day after each visit. Their attention to detail (following our feeding instructions, exercise schedules, etc.) made it seem like we never left! They love dogs — pets in general. The only downside: Lola and Callie (our labs) expected the generous playtime, attention, and general cuddle time to continue after we got home. We’re good pet parents, but Beach Buddies have raised the bar! Thanks, Amber, Suzanne, Brittany, and Hailey, for your wonderful care of our pets.
I can’t recommend Beach Buddies enough. They are reliable, provide updates and most importantly, are great with my pets. I have one huge dog (Newfoundland) and a medium dog (golden retriever) and have no worries that they can easily handle them.

Deb is a real professional! Our one dogs was very reactive. After many other trainers we still had issues with her. It wasn't until we found Deb that we are now going in the correct direction. Best investment we made to nurture a confident , happy, loving, and trusting relationship with Jackson, our Portuguese Water Dog. Deb gave us the tools to understand the psychology, physiology, and common sense logic to move forward healthily through the puppy months that are usually riddled with pitfalls. Deb gave us “heads up” for behaviors to look for and showed exactly what to do through exercises, homework, rewards, and discipline. The package (10 lessons) that we went through with Jackson has given him the basic understanding to grow and build on his next chapter. Mitch and I couldn’t recommend Deb more….best money spent!
What an amazing learning experience. My best friend deserves, in addition to love, someone that understands what makes her happy and what keeps her safe and healthy. Deb is such a joy to work with. We are amazed by the difference in the demeanor of our dog after just a few short weeks. He’s a star at the basics and we can even take him with us when we go out to lunch. Winston loves the structure and is wiped after a few minutes of training. Keep in mind, the training is just as much for you as the owner as it is for your pup! Cannot recommend her enough!
I can’t say enough about Peppers Paws. Deb is amazing to work with. She is so calming and explains things so it makes sense. My dog Buddy has come such a long way from when I first started with Deb. He started off with so much anxiety and would howl the whole time I am out of the house to now he lays down and takes a nap. He is so much happier. I originally contacted Deb for separation anxiety and we covered so many topics that was a concern for me. I highly recommend Peppers Paws!
My wife and I (and Jacey) highly recommend working with Deb. Her passion for puppies/dogs and her upbeat nature makes her in-home training engaging and enjoyable. She has a tremendous depth of knowledge with experience in a wide range of training and behavioral situations. She teaches so much more than just sit and stay and educates owners about dogs and proper dog ownership. Deb had a natural way with our Jacey, and her humans. The training was comfortable, not rushed, and Deb took the time to answer all the questions we had. Deb always demonstrated extreme patience with our Mini Dox, and mostly, the learning humans 😊. Bringing a new pup (and new breed for us) into the house changes the dynamic, and Deb kindly made suggestions during the in-home, one on one training that was a tremendous help. Deb had so many fantastic recommendations, it is almost impossible not to be successful with our puppy. With all this being said, and since completing the in-home training, Deb always invited questions, and was always prompt with a response and offered plenty of suggestions to be successful. Jacey, my wife, and I cannot recommend Deb enough! We will tell everyone about her, her love for dogs, and the passion she has to make both humans and dogs successful.
Deb was absolutely amazing with our boy Tucker who had some serious issues with barking at house guests and learning commands. Deb not only listened very closely to our needs but watched Tucker very closely each visit to help us keep him on track. She gave us so many pointers and he has learned many commands. I absolutely recommend her for any dog training you may need!
Deb provides excellent training using positive feedback. Our rescue pup was suffering from anxiety and was not receptive to training techniques we have used with our other dog. Convenient sessions based on our availability in our home and our pup’s environment! If you put the work in, you will see results! Additional support with handouts outlining different training techniques to continuously support your education. Highly recommend!!!!
Deb was such a pleasure to work with and I couldn't have asked for a better trainer! She was so patient and invested in helping us get to a point where we could really enjoy spending time with him. We started lessons with her about a week after bringing our pup home and I'm so happy we did. It had been nearly 10 years since having a puppy and we knew that we could use some help training him, as well as training ourselves. The tips, tools, and homework she gave us were so helpful. She really focused on our specific needs and I enjoyed having our sessions in different environments (in home, on the boardwalk/beach, and meet ups with other pups) to help getting our pup trained and socialized. Highly recommend working with Deb, don't hesitate if you are considering scheduling with her!

If I have scheduled in advance or need an unexpected visit, Kelly accommodates taking care of my Rottweiler Zeyda every time. She takes her out for walks, spends time with her while playing with her toys, and gets a great picture every time with some tasty treats! I truly appreciate the care she gives for my pet.

Love this place! The doggie daycare is so Convenient, clean and the price can't be beat. The staff are so caring and friendly. Jim an his team are the Absolute best!! wouldn't trust my 6 month old puppy with anyone else. My puppy Duke is always so happy being dropped off and picked up. He loves his new friends. My sister and I have an annual shopping trip to hit the Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth, DE (we are coming from MD). I was going to back out having recently rescued a Belgian Malinois puppy (January 2024). I also have a 13 year old Malinois, who is happy spend most of his day sleeping. Unfortunately, the sitter reconsidered, worried her four pound Dorkie would not hold up to my 70lb Mal puppy. Cus in Jungle Jim's Total Pet Care. The sitter recommended we contact Jungle Jim's to see if he was brave enough to take on Jett as a last minute drop off. How great is it that we didn't need to contract x amount of days, this one off was perfectly acceptable. Jim made it very easy. Any question was answered quickly, sending vaccine and vet documents, easy. Friday morning we arrived to a very convenient location to where we would be shopping (10 minutes or so out of Rehoboth) and on the main drag. This is important to me because I get lost in a paper bag! Jett was all wiggles meeting Cassidy, and Cassidy asked all the right questions (is she a jumper, biter, plays well with others...). Cassidy seemed genuinely excited to have Jett for the day (she is truly a gem of a dog). The facility is clean and very pet friendly. I was kept updated on Jett's day; playing, napping, body functions . when we picked her up, she was fast asleep in the front window, she looked completely worked out (that's always the goal with. Mal). We met Jim and one of Jett's walkers. I couldn't have been happier with the positive report on my pup. if you ever find yourself in a bind for a daycare option or boarding site while vacationing at the DE beaches, I highly recommend Jungle Jim's. My little girl was given the best care.
This is the best experience we've ever had with boarding our two dogs. Previously our "kids" shook for a week or more after being boarded at other kennels. With Jim, they came out wagging their tails and happy. The layout is fantastic. There is a homey safe environment. We will only board our dogs at Jungle Jim's!
Beau had an absolute blast at Jungle Jim’s! Jim has excellent customer service skills and clearly cares a lot about the dogs. He texted frequently to update me on Beau and was always very friendly in response. Beau was tuckered out after his big weekend!
Love this place! We have to drop off the little ones for few hours. Jim able to accommodate us and very responsive to text message. My little ones were so calm in there and this is the first time they are in day care. Eddie is a barker but he didn't bark at all in there, they have a really relax environment. We would definitely go there again!!

Jungle Jim's was a great safe haven for our ~4 year mixed breed rescue dog while we were at the beach this summer. We called prior to the start of the season to get the low-down for the occasional visit throughout the 2022 summer season and Jim was thorough explaining the policies and patient with our questions. The facility is clean, the runs are small (2-5 dogs per run depending on size), and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with JJ. They are a well-oiled machine with a small business feel and are also very flexible and affordable given the area. The best part of Jungle Jim's was the manager Alexa! She is professional and very caring to all the animals that come through the door. She was so sweet with our dog, we felt infinitely more comfortable leaving her knowing that she was in Alexa's caring hands. She works so hard and give the dogs a ton of attention, affection, and walks. We are very grateful to Alexa and Jungle Jim's for their great service so we could enjoy our beach season!
What an exceptional experience using Jungle Jim’s Total Pet care for boarding our Great Dane. The space was clean and perfect for our big guy. I can tell he was lovingly taken care of. Jim is great with communication and accommodating his needs. Will absolutely be using and recommending their services again.
