This is the only grooming place where the staff is consistent and friendly. My dog started biting other groomers (never happened before), so I found Su Lin Kennels. My dog has never attempted to even bite again! This is huge. I recommend to all! Best groomers on the island!!!!!!

You can depend on Su Lin kennels staff to take great care of all your pets! I highly recommend their services. Zeisja cared for and fed our cat, chickens & fish so we could enjoy our holiday. We are grateful.

My two huskies are a job and a half. Couldn't ask for better care or better grooming.

My long hair chihuahua loves Shear Magic! She gets groomed there and they do a fabulous job. She has also been boarded there in the small dog area. The staff are so nice. They called because I forgot to get her Shiba Inu stuffed animal when I picked her up. They had it all clean and ready for me. My pup does a happy bark anytime we drive by the facility.

The people and the quality of care with which they treat my whole family is amazing. We immediately feel like part of the community when our puppy goes in for his deluxe spa treatment and hair cut. He feels luxurious after each visit. We’re extremely loyal to Shear Magic because our puppy knows that this is his extended family that he can trust 🐶🐾🐶🤙🤙🤙

Great work with my dog Cinderella. Holding pets for longer than 3 hrs seemed too long. She has sensiti e skin, and they helped her with good care.

...staff was on time, accomodating for nail trim services on two pets, cat and dog -- very personable and made it happen!!! especially with a challenging, super sacred, muscular strong mix terrier having had a vaccination with the Petco Hilo pet clinic folks just 3 days earlier! 🐕‍🦺🐈‍⬛🫶🏽💕 We're happy campers now! Much appreciation.

They were so wonderful with our three days. Got them flea baths and while they were there, they also cut their nails. None of them were traumatized. They came back happy. I definitely would use them again and, if needed, would take them to board there. I highly recommend them.

I've never taken my dogs to a groomer, I've always done it myself, I'm very particular. But,due to circumstances I haven't been able to for several weeks, they were dirty & overgrown, toenails too longthe works. I'm so glad I chose Sheer Magic, they were super sweet to my dogs & did a fabulous job. I will be taking them back. I wish I could give more than 5 stars

UPDATED: Finally got in touch with them about application. My partner had to call with his phone because I guess my phone wasn't working. However, the review was solely about the communication and not the facility itself and the people working because definitely can email should the phone not be available. Hopefully can get this solved and looking forward to being a client in the future. I have submitted an application to board my dogs almost a week ago but no one ever got back to me. I called regarding application and was told to send vaccination paperwork which I did. I called again to confirm that it was received and if someone would get back to me. I shouldn't have to keep calling and checking on application. Communication is horrible. Definitely should change how that's handled. So people can move on and look for other accomidations.

I only spoke to the owner on the phone, but she was SO helpful and knowledgeable. After taking the time to talk to me about what she offers, she asked me about my dog and my situation. It turns out there is a dog daycare that is much closer to my job, and since I'm already commuting, she thought it might make more sense for me. How awesome is that? I wish her kennels made sense for me because I would have dropped my Lucy off there with no hesitations or worry, and will definitely recommend Hilo Kennels to anyone. I was just so impressed with her professionalism and how much she truly cares for the animals. Your dog will be home if you take it here, it's easy to see why they're successful.

It is so awesome to have a safe place for our 3 Chihuahuas to stay while we travel. David & Jenipher love our dogs almost as much as we do. Highly recommend Hilo Kennels!

We have had remarkable RESPONSIVE returning our call also answer my call when i check up on nibbles. RELIABLE with Hilo Kennel for our weekend from waikoloa. Nibbles would stay couple days at a time & very well taken cared of.
