I really loved the updates I received on my dog, Milo while he was boarded for the week! Autum sent me updates with photos & cute videos! I didn’t have to worry & I was really happy to see how comfy Milo was and how much fun he was having! A big backyard and specialized treats & trainings. She even asked me any ingredient allergies & his dietary needs!! Bayside Walkers was super easy to sign up with AND board!! My 2 Yorkies love Autumn. As soon as I met her, I knew my furbabies were in good hands. You can tell she loves what she does and they love her home. She has a fenced in yard and plenty of space for them to play. She sends pictures and daily updates. I’ve already booked her again for an unexpected trip and know they will be happy to go back again. We have been taking our labradoodle here for over a month now and have been extremely satisfied with how it is going. We get timely updates, pictures, and our puppy is getting socialized with other dogs. He comes home tired and ready to unwind so he clearly gets his energy out while being watched for us.

Always goes above and beyond for my dog! Anytime I need her, she’s always available. I’ve noticed which a huge difference in my dog’s overall behavior since I’ve started taking him to Autum’s! He’s able to get his energy out all day and socialize with other dogs. I couldn’t do it without her!

Marsha has taken care of our Mini Schnauzer Sebastian many times when we need to leave home for an extended period of time. Sebastian is always well taken care of. She makes notes as to when she takes him out and how often he uses the potty. I am very particular as to who I would leave my pets care to and I NEVER worry knowing Marsha will be there for Sebastian

We could not be more DISSAPOINTED in the services we received from Marcia Berger (South Paws In-Home Pet Sitter.) She did not follow the schedule we have and agreed upon for our dogs, she was only there at our home for the overnight hours and left my 80 year old mother-in-law to deal with the dogs all day. She told us of two times she would not be there, once when she would go out with her friends Friday night at Cigar Life Lounge for a couple hours which turned into her leaving at 6pm and coming back to the house after 11pm. The other time was church on Sunday, That day she was gone from 7:30am to 3:50pm, again leaving my mother-in-law to do the job she was being paid to do. Saturday she was gone from 9:45am till after 5pm. Her website talks about how she spends quality time with our pets. When questioned on it she said she was there all night and that was the quality time. The dogs also get calming medicine given once at night with their food, they received it for breakfast and dinner on Saturday. Everything was written in black and white and ignored. Additionally she chose to smoke a cigar on our enclosed Lanai without even the common courtesy to ask us if was ok, and we were left to pick up the ashes and tobacco pieces she left behind. (oh and yes tobacco is toxic to dogs.) We also cleaned up tobacco pieces from our master bathroom toilet area, which yes smells like she smoked in there too. Her response to this was I never smoked in the house only outside with the door closed. Again without respecting us enough to ask first. I guess she forgot or didn't realize we have outside cameras (yes they are out in the open.) We hired her to take care of our dogs, which are our children. She did not. she did as she wanted and ignored everything else. She left it to the 80 year old woman in poor health to do it.

Marcia was able to help us with walking our dog and checking in on granny twice a day. Luna loved her from the time she met her. She was prompt, arrived on time and was in contact with me while I was away. I would not hesitate to leave Luna with her or use her services again.

Marcia has taken care of my 2 dogs who are like my family, like they are her family! From the time we initially met to interview up until the time we got back from vacation, Marcia was professional and very good at keeping us informed about our pets. I have used her more than once, and she continues to provide loving care! I come home and my home is just the way I left it. I’m happy and so are my dogs.. Thank you for becoming a trusted caregiver and now a good friend.

After landing in Tampa on 9/24/23 at 11:45 p.m., we received a text message from Marcia saying that her employee had let our indoor cat out of the door and it was too dark for the employee (Marcia Simonds) to try to find her. According to the video clips from home, the employee had left our property at 5:16 p.m. in the bright sunlight. The employee has not contacted us to explain what happened and when we called Marcia, she blew us off with a story that her lost cat had returned after a night missing. She promised to call us the next day to see if our cat had returned. We are still awaiting that call. In our opinion, the lack of responsibility and accountability displayed by this company, the owner, and the employees is deplorable and unacceptable. We can't, in good faith, recommend this company to care for your pets adequately.

We have used South Paws twice now, both times for about one week a piece. We have 4 cats two dogs and a fish! She was amazing! All of my animals loved her, she came twice a day and also brought in our mail for us. I love how much she truly does care about the animals and their well being while you’re away. She sent me daily photos of everyone which made me feel so happy and when we returned everything and everyone was happy and perfect. I will forever use South Paws when having to leave my fur babies 🤍

Marcia is fabulous with my kitties! She is reliable and takes such good care of my fur babies! From feeding to doing the litter boxes, I know she is taking care of it! We can not begin to describe how wonderful this company has been to our family. They are always so courteous and kind to our dogs. They truly care about them. We have had several girls come and take care of them and each and every one takes such great care of them. When we lost our boy Lukas recently and The owner Amber had a portrait of him done. We were absolutely speechless!!! What company does that !!! Any time we have a schedule change or special request, she is always willing to work with us and accommodate to ensure the best possible care of our “kids”. We are so lucky to have found this service and have been using them for over a year

Absolutely amazing experience. I used their mobile “gym” treadmill service for my 3 boys. I have 2 huskies and a malinois, who are all very different. Amber and Marissa handled them with care and encouragement even though 2 of them were very unsure about it. They took the time to get them used to the movement and make them as comfortable as possible with this new experience. Although my Malinois could have gone for days without stopping, they did not try to push him and made sure he was not going to overexert himself. I highly recommend this service and this team. We had a great first experience and cannot wait to do it again!

I am so very happy I discovered Atta Boy!!! They are simply wonderful!! I don’t even know where to begin! I suppose the best place is with my babies. They were so comfortable with the wonderful caregivers almost immediately! Even my VERY shy 7 month old kitten was soon coming out to play at every visit! My 14 yr old Westie and Jack Russell would both sit in the window eagerly looking for them. My Westie is a real Momma’s girl and usually pines horribly when we’re gone, refusing to eat for days. Not with the the AttaBoy friends; she ate and played and was just generally happy. I can’t tell you what a comfort it is to know your pets are safe, cared for and loved on. And these awesome people REALLY go above and beyond! The fed my yard full of squirrels and birds daily, cleaned up any sort of pet mess they discovered and even swept and Swiffered the floors! And the reports! They send wonderful reports -with pics!-after every visit! I have to admit, we really looked forward to those. I could go on and on extolling their virtues, but you probably get the idea that I LOVE this service! I will let just a very few of the pics they sent me tell the rest. Thank you, Atta Boy!! Oh my goodness, I totally forgot to mention all the other wonderful things they do/did! They brought in the mail every day and watched for an important package we were expecting. If it had come, they would have given our pups their meds every day. They checked the doors and discovered I’d left one open. They restarted a fountain I had forgotten to turn back on - going to great lengths to find the switch when I gave them inadequate information to locate it - because the fountain is important to the wildlife. They took great care of the litter box, doled out treats daily and made sure the music was on for the pups. And, they left sweet and thoughtful gifts! They are the best!

Amber and team have been caring for my furry kids for a few years now. I’m always apprehensive about leaving them but the detailed e-mails and pictures always give me a huge sigh of relief when I get one after each visit. You can’t go wrong with Atta Boy!

I highly recommend Atta Boy! and their pet sitting services. In the past we have boarded our dogs with the vet or other kennel, but one of our dogs has a health condition that does not allow her to be boarded at this time. We contacted Atta Boy for their services and it was perfect for our dog's needs. They took care of everything as asked and our girl was happy & excited to meet new people. We really love the email that we get after each scheduled visit with pictures and a summary of their time with our pup. We will for sure be using their service again.

We love all the pet sitters at Atta Boy ! Animal Care LLC. We have a difficult situation with an extremely shy cat, Two younger cats, and a Bantam chicken who has to live inside. We’ve had the fire department break our door in when we were all the way up in Maine and they went to the house to check on the cats and door. Thankfully there was no fire.We also had an older cat get gravely ill while we were gone and they checked on her at the Vets the whole time until we came back. I don’t know how we could enjoy our vacations without them. They send you a report and picks each visit so you can see your pets every day. It really does help ease your mind. We highly recommend this pet sitting service!

We hired Atta Boy Animal Care to look after our cat while we were out of town. Everything about this organization was just what I had dreamed a pet sitting service could be and should be. The care and attention given was good articulation, communication, and well executed plans. I will definitely hire them again.

Atta boy pet care is completely top notch. I have tried several different types of pet care and honestly nothing compares. The staff takes care of your animals like family and treats your home with respect. The daily reports for visits are reassuring that your pets and home are getting the time they deserve. My furkids love the attaboy crew and come running when they visit- . No they aren't the cheapest service around, but you can't put a price of peace of mind.

Atta Boy did a great job taking care of our boy, Storm. It took him a little time to warm up to them but they showed him the best care. our instructions were followed and everything happened like it should have. They even left a treat bag for us to share with him when we returned home. We have already booked additional services from them. Thank you for taking great care of Storm.

These folks are the BEST petsitters in the Lakeland area! We have used them multiple times over the past few years, and we are always more than pleased with their care of our three kitties! We get a daily email with photos while we are away...The emails contains details about how the cats have been eating and drinking, and even when they have a hairball upchucked on the floor, LOL! We always return home to a house that smells fresh & clean, even though we have three litter boxes! We actually returned home yesterday from a week away and found that all three of our Litter Genies had also been emptied and taken out! Other services Atta Boy includes is bringing in the mail and taking the trash & recycling bins to the street on their collection days (they also bring them back in!) To shout-out two of our recent great sitters: Amarylis was able to get our skittish babies to come out and say hi to her and enjoy some catnip (a true miracle since these kitties are total scaredy cats). And Johnny was our sitter for our trip back in May...There was a miscommunication about not running our Roomba (the miscommunication was completely my fault), and when it ran, it spread some cat vom around in the living room. Johnny took our Roomba home with him and watched a YouTube video to guide him in doing a deep clean on it!! He also mopped our whole living room!! You really truly will never find better care for your pets (and home) than this amazing crew! We will be loyal customers forever!

We absolutely love the staff at Happy Pets! They’ve been an absolute lifesaver for our fur babies, Blitz and Maggie. The team is incredibly caring and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure our pups are well taken care of. Blitz is a bundle of energy, and Maggie can be a bit much, but the staff knows exactly how to handle them both with so much love and patience. During the recent hurricane, they went above and beyond by staying with the dogs and providing regular updates via Facebook. It gave us so much peace of mind, and we’re incredibly grateful for their dedication. Whether it’s grooming or boarding, the service is top-notch every time. We highly recommend Happy Pets to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet service!

My dog Milo has been going there for 6 years. I’m so happy with the service and care they provide for him. The grooming is amazing and they really do care and treat your pets as if it was their own.

We are so excited that we found Stephanie at Happy Pets. Our two dogs love her and she takes such great care of them when she does their nails. I would highly recommend her to anyone that has dogs that are a bit nervous about getting their nails clipped. Will be utilizing her services from now on.

In the very beginning there were some issues in not receiving text updates but that was truly the only complaint. But otherwise, both of my dogs know when they are going because they have different collars and absolutely love it. The pictures I receive don’t lie. To the people leaving bad reviews, learn how to spell and use proper grammar. You look stupid. I hardly leave any reviews, but this is a good place with caring people and until my dogs show signs of not loving it, I will go back again and again.

I have to drove a lot for work. One day I passed by this Farm and stopped to try it out & mentioned it was my first time there. Bought some veggies. At the end, the young man adds a tomato (which was not among the veggies I chose) to my order. I said "thank you" and he nodded...I thought it was a gift. Later I looked at my receipt and he charged me for the tomato...and to top it all it was a rotten tomato. Very dishonest. I won't go back and don't recommend.

I have used Part of the Family kennels for 9 years. I board multiple pets and have had all of them groomed here as well. When traveling with our animals we've had to use many other kennels and I have to say this is the cleanest kennel I've ever been inside. The owners and staff here are experienced, caring and knowledgeable and always treat the animals well. They go above and beyond to ensure my pets are safe and well cared for anytime I leave them here. I am experienced with many types of animals and it's easy to tell when people take their business seriously and know what they're doing. This place is the best! If I could give more stars I would. Very good place to leave your dog. They actually take care of your dog nicely. It is the cheapest and best option of dog hotels in Tampa. My dog runs to the caretakers when we get there as if they are his owners. My dog loves that place very much. Please consider going there.

We have 3 senior dogs, 1 with cancer & one almost totally blind. After a 8 day stay they came home happy & healthy. This is our second group of pups that we have had stay here over the years, would most certainly recommend this business & will return when we go out of town again.

Part of the Family kennels always does a great job taking care of our dogs while we are away. We also use them for grooming. They do a fabulous job on our two shihtzus! Highly recommended!!

This is the second time our old man Marley has stayed here. He was happy when we picked him up. I didn't have to worry about him at all. This is by far the safest and best place to leave your dog. Great people and I really appreciate being able to go somewhere and not worry. He is my sweet old man and don't trust him with just anyone. Best kennel ever!!!!

In our entire lifetime, we have never kenneled any of our dogs, but after dad passed last year, mom and I don't have a backup to watch the dogs....WE DO NOW!!!! Ty & Steven were so fabulous, our 3 dogs acclimated instantly and they were all taken care of so well. We're selling our house and we'll be using their daycare for the days of the showings. We even have our first bathing/grooming appointment next Thursday! Love Part of the Family Kennels and the family. Lol

I highly recommend part of the family! Specifically: I have a very anxious and animal aggressive dog so I was nervous leaving her in the kennel for 4 nights/ 5 days. I let them know she was very skittish and aggressive and they told me it would not be a problem.. I was still nervous just for the fact that this would be her first time being boarded and she has never spent the night anywhere other than my other family’s home. When I first called, the owner at the front desk made me feel like they were going to take very good care of her and when I picked her up I felt the same way. I really felt like they handled her and cared for her well. I was told she was very scared the whole time just because of the other animals and a high energy foreign place for her which I expected. I felt very comfortable and confident that they actually cared for my dog. Again, I highly recommend and will take her back for all future boarding needs!

The staff is very friendly 😀I was very scared to leave Cuba at first because he doesent like people at first it takes him a while but his brother MAX goes toPart of the family often for boarding and he loves it. Now Cuba loves it and when it comes to gromming its horrriable he hates it he has to take a pill .But part of the family has grooming so i decided to try it and no pill was given and he did awsome and his haircut was the best he ever had and with out medicine i was so HAPPY .This will be my place for my fur babies and i tell all my friends and family as well.NOW i can go on vacation and not worry thank you to all of you at Part of the family for making us feel like PART OF THE FAMLY

I looked for a new boarder because I was unhappy with the one I had been using. I decided to try Part of the Family. I picked up my two little dogs today from an extended trip and I am so happy I chose Part of the Family. My dogs were clean and happy looking. I watched them come out before they could see me and they looked well good, adjusted and untraumatized. This is a huge change from the previous boarder. Thank you Part of the Family. All of your staff have been so kind to me and my doggies. I appreciate you so much! I will definitely be using you from now on exclusively.

My boy loves this place! Sharon, Abby and her staff! He loves the fur friends he plays with and enjoys his daycare sessions. The entire staff and owner are wonderful and very kind. I was very nervous about my boy being in daycare first couple weeks because he’s large breed and loves everyone (even those that don’t love him due to his intimidating size). But he fit right in and staff sent me pics of him which was so calming and reassuring. Love that little extra touch of comfort knowing your fur baby is safe and thriving in good hands while at work. It’s things like that which makes Classy Canine a notch above others. You can tell they love the dogs and what they do. This is exactly the type of small business I enjoy supporting . Clean establishment and very secure fenced yard for playing and individual private kennels in climate controlled environment to escape the summer heat. Thank you Classy Canine!

Sharon is the only person I trust with my fur baby Mia she is always loved and cared for and comfortable she makes Mia feel safe and loved the whole time she is there for grooming.

I took my dog Rocky for the 1st time to daycare this past Monday. He's a 2 yrs old Lab mix and is scare of his own shadow. He's never been to any other place besides his Vet and Pet Smart Grooming. I was so nervous and anxious for him, but as soon as we got there, Emily made us feel so welcome! She assured me he'll be fine and kept me updated throughout the day. She sure did! Even sent me pics, which warmed my heart. When we picked him up, I was able to meet the owner and she was a sweetheart as well. Two days later, I left him overnight for boarding and met Gaby one of the other workers and she was amazing as well. Rocky did great! Comments we received "Rocky is shy and super clean" lol I definitely recommend Classy Canines and look forward to our next daycare day and boarding days. Great facility and amazing staff and owner. We absolutely love Classy Canines! We were frequent day care goers in Arizona where there are doggy daycares EVERYWHERE and none of them feel as warm and welcoming as Classy Canines! For as long as we are in the Polk County area they will always have our support!!! The photo attached is one the owner sent me for their Halloween party.

I absolutely love taking my two dogs here for daycare, boarding, and grooming. Both of my dogs love to come here. My youngest pup scratches at the door until you open it for her. They both adore the entire staff. It is one of the few places that I can truly relax when I have to leave them overnight because of the level of care they get when they are there. Sharon and her staff are amazing. Both my girls come home tired after a long day of play.

I can not say enough wonderful things about these folks and services! Our 6 month old puppy loves joining the daycare group and looks so forward to when our car pulls up to their door. Sharon has guided us in so many great training tips. I can't imagine what it would have been like to bring our Harper into our lives without these great, knowledgeable and caring folks.

Their manager, Lauri, is wonderful and so kind. We know we can trust the members on her team. Trisha typically walks our sweet pup and she is the best!!! We always get a very detailed report card of her visit and lots of photos!! Our dog is deaf and Trisha is always so patient and gentle with her. We appreciate this team so much and highly recommend them for any pet sitting needs!!

This was my first time using Professional Pets Florida. Every detail, from the initial communications with Lauri to the meet and greet to the overnight pet sitting and daily visits, was exceptional! Lauri went above and beyond with communication regarding my trip status and needs. They sincerely and wholeheartedly cared about my super senior cats like they were their own, even helping to coordinate the best care plan/visits while we would be away so that their routines were not disturbed. Justine managed the medication schedule and feeding schedule involving multiple diets with ease. She was very communicative and sent detailed visit recaps and fun photos throughout her stay. She also clarified and asked questions if needed---SO crucial for super seniors with medication and diet needs. We returned home to a very relaxed and happy fur family! There is no doubt they loved Justine :) And we are looking forward to her and other Professional Pets Florida pet sitters sitting for us again soon. This company EASILY earned a five-star review!

Lauren S from Professional Pets is amazing with our elderly dogs. She sends us photos and updates from every visit. Others from Professional Pets have come to let our dogs out too and all were great. Unexpectedly we had to go out of town overnight. Lauren S was able to sleep over at our house and take care of our pups. It was a huge relief she and Professional Pets were able to do this. We knew our dogs were in great hands and would be well taken care of. We love Professional Pets and highly recommend them.

We love using Professional Pets! We have two dogs and a cat. We typically utilize their services when going out of town for a weekend, their 30 minute drop in is ideal for us! This last weekend Trisha stopped in for us and played with our pups for almost the entire time. Everyone who has dropped in has been great though! I always have peace of mind when we hire them AND they always share the cutest pics of our girls.

We have been using Professional Pets Florida for about 3 years now. We have a senior dog and four cats, and two of our pets have fairly serious special needs. Knowing everybody has veterinary experience gives us the comfort we need. We love that there is a staff, so if something comes up with the scheduled person, someone else can cover. This last trip out of town, Kaity did overnights for us. It was our first experience with Katie and just as with everybody at PPF, she was amazing, detail oriented and so caring with our little zoo. I can’t say enough good things about their service. They took care of my fur babies for almost two weeks while I was oversees. We love Free Paws! Morgan is so friendly and treats the dogs like they are her own. We received pictures of our dog playing and updates. If I could give Morgan more than five stars, I would. She has been there for me and my five babies and my chickens (😁) multiple times when I’ve needed her last minute. My dogs absolutely adore her and she is so good with them. We have two young shepherds, a mini dachshund, a senior lab and one cat. Each one of them have a different personality and Morgan is great with everyone of them! If you’re looking for a caring, loving and trustworthy Pet Sitter, Morgan is top notch!!

Morgan does an excellent job with the dogs! We left Josh, our GSP, with Morgan for two weeks when we went on vacation. I think Josh really enjoyed himself and we appreciated that Morgan sent us a photo or video of him every day while we were gone. Josh will definitely return to Free Paws. We looked at other places but they had too many dogs! At Free Paws, the dogs have room to run and aren’t caged up like prisoners. Great small business worth supporting.

THE BEST!! We absolutely love Free Paws! Morgan is so incredibly sweet and wonderful to work with and clearly absolutely loves all animals! We always know our doggies are in the best hands with her! We are so glad they get to be free range in her facility instead of being locked up in a cage. When there are other dogs there, they all get along so well and have so much fun running around and playing, it’s been great for our high anxiety dog, as we know she’s in a safe environment with other dogs that she learn more socialization off leash. Morgan is always doing fun things with them..this last week they got to play in a pool and splash around and she even sends pictures or updates. And unlike other facilities, and because she is a vet tech, she was able to administer allergy meds for our lab. We love that Morgan has vet experience and even gave us a recommendation of a med to try for our lab- and after calling our vet, they agreed it was the best treatment for her seasonal allergies and is now 100x less itchy! She’s been very accommodating and flexible for weird pickup times, especially on our last trip where our flight times changed. I will literally never send my dogs anywhere else but to her, ever!!

My girl loved playing with Morgan this week!! I was so anxious about boarding her because I had never done it and after lots and lots of research we finally decided on Free Paws. BEST DECISION EVER!! Morgan loves on your pups as if they are hers and even told me when my girl got a little scrap on her nose. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Our sweet pup has been visiting Free Paws and Morgan since he was 7 months old. We’ve done half day and full day visits, as well as, boarding. Our energetic pup absolutely loves it here. Morgan is so fantastic with my pup and the other dogs who attend. She clearly loves the pups and has provided a mentally and physically stimulating place for our pup. When I leave my doggo in Morgan’s capable hands, he is happy and well-cared for. He comes home happy and worn out!

Recently had our two dogs stay with Morgan @ Free Paws and it was a great experience for them and us! Morgan is absolutely fantastic!! She is so personable and very easy to work with. It was our first time leaving our dogs with someone outside of family and Morgan put us right at ease. She provided frequent updates with photos and videos of our pups having a great time playing in the water and with the other dogs. This isn't just a boarding service, it's a home away from home for your pup(s). We will absolutely go back to Free Paws in the future! My fur baby has been wit me since covid-so i was concerned how he would be without me and my son. Never fear Morgan and family loved on him for week. He's missing the family and the big yard. I will definitely use Morgan again.

I can not say enough good things about Free Paws and the owner, Morgan. My dog wakes up on Tuesday morning so excited because he knows he’s going to play, and he comes home completely worn out! Morgan does not discriminate against any breed. With that said, she does do a meet and greet to make sure your dog has the right temperament to fit with the pack. If you want your dog to run a play all day, and not be cooped up in a concrete pen, this is your place!

Our dog gets very stressed when he has to be away from us. We’re so happy we found Free Paws! He loves being able to be outside to run free on her property and not be on a leash. Ace is very comfortable there, and we don’t have to worry about him when we’re away! Morgan takes care of our Ace like he’s one of her own pups ❤️🐾!! …

I can't recommend this place enough. I was able to get my reactive dog, Freya, in at the last second for a weekend stay. She'd never been boarded anywhere before and I was very nervous, but the owner is amazing. He understood her temperament immediately, knew how to handle her anxiety/reactivity and was very communicative about how she was doing, her interactions with other dogs, etc. I brought her back for doggy day care and he even managed to find other dogs that she could get along with and took the time to make sure she had opportunities to socialize and relax. I'll definitely be bringing Freya back.

This pet resort is 100% recommended. The staff is friendly and professional. The cost is reasonable, and the facility is clean and well maintained. You can trust the care of your pet to this resort. Will most definitely use them again.

Our Buffalo stayed here for 10 days, communication with this facility was great. They assured us he would be well taken care of. And when we brought him home he had no signs of anxiety, and was very well taken care of. We are very pleased with his stay there.

Baxter loves it here. So many friends and lots of room to roam. Snack tike, lunch tike and recess are his favorites. Going to go somewhere soon and Bax will want to go here again. Last time he told me about Tina who.took him on a filed trip to see a ferris wheel. I love his stories. But now.

I am so glad I chose Almost Home Pet Resort to care for my dog while I traveled out of state. The kennel sits on a spacious lot away from the road, and they have a variety of accommodations for pets. The owner, Kevin, is great. I believe his passion truly is for animals, as he provided my emotionally and physically needy dog with one-of-a-kind care, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach most kennels use. Every time I have boarded my dog with another kennel, he has caught kennel cough (despite having the vaccine), rubbed his nose raw, and lost weight from anxiety. When I arrived to take him home, I was relieved to see he hadn't lost weight or rubbed his nose raw; and he didn't have kennel cough! Thanks to Almost Home Pet Resort, I was able to have some peace of mind and enjoy the holiday. We will definitely be repeat customers!

This is the best place around. The owner is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. He and his staff took great care of our dogs. Also this place is huge so they will almost always have availability, they were able to accommodate us for thanksgiving with one day notice. This place is under new management as of about 2 months ago so definitely disregard earlier reviews. I massively recommend boarding your pets here.

Place is spotless and remarkably order free for a place that houses pets! Friendly, caring staff make you feel very comfortable about leaving your beloved pet there. Also have services available such as grooming and bathing while they're there. My dog came back well fed (unusual for him) calm and tired from all the fun he had in the outdoor play yard!

I have been going here for 15 years. They have taken care of three of my dogs, and the experience has always been excellent. They know the dogs, and take excellent care of them. The staff has always been professional and friendly. I have taken my dogs to other places that are nearby for overnight stays, and found that no one does a better job with my dogs than Almost Home. We are comfortable with leaving our fur baby with them. They seem to be very caring to the animals. Our dog looks well cared for when we pick her up. The only thing they don't have are web cams..it would be nice to be able to go online and check on our girl..

Cheryl is the best! She allowed me to travel, worry free, when leaving my 12 year old, diabetic dog for the first time since her diagnosis. And it was for 6 days! Cheryl was very meticulous and even came over a couple of times to learn my routine before we went out of town. She was able to administer all of her medication, weigh her food, and most importantly, check her blood sugar and give her the insulin shots without any issues! Leaving my lab is stressful because I’m never sure what’s going to happen with her blood sugar while I’m gone, but Cheryl was all over it! Not only is she amazing with my dog and guinea pig, but I completely trust her in my home and she did an amazing job taking care of all of it while we were gone. She sent the most hysterical pictures and videos and you can tell how much she truly loves her (your!) babies!

When our dog developed health conditions that made it too stressful for her to be boarded, we were thrilled to find Cheryl and her pet sitting service. From the first meet and greet, through all of her visits, we felt reassured and confident that all of our pets were well-cared for and well-loved. Cheryl sent us photos and videos of each and every visit she made to our house while we were away - and it was obvious how much she cared for our animals, and how much they adore her. Cheryl’s visits not only allowed our dog to stay comfortable and calm in our own home, but she was able to also give our diabetic cat insulin. We returned from our trip to happy, healthy, and peaceful pets - we couldn’t ask for anything more!

Cheryl is amazing with our dogs! It is so nice to know that they are completely taken care of when we can’t be here. She updates us after every visit with pictures (she has a magical power of getting the best pictures of our three rowdy dogs!) and a quick run down of everything that happened. Cheryl has been taking care of Mochi for over a year now and I couldn’t ask for a better sitter. She reports any changes to me and makes sure my baby is loved and gets some attention when I’m away. Cheryl also helps me care for my feral babies by putting their food out during her visits. I appreciate her care for my baby while I’m away. It gives me peace of mind to not have to worry about my baby.

We’ve had several dog sitters since moving to this area, and have been disappointed in every single one of the. We stumbled upon Wags & Whiskers about a year ago, and nobody has ever loved on our pups and taken care of them like we do, as Cheryl does. Cheryl is amazing! Our family was supposed fly in from NY to watch our dogs while we were away but they were unable to due to hurricane Ian. Cheryl came through last minute to help us out. We had a meet and greet a couple months ago because we are planning to use her during the holidays. She sends constant updates with pictures which really helped calm my nerves. My boys absolutely loved her (and her dad). I now feel 100% comfortable leaving my dogs again with her. I found our forever pet sitter.
