We took our two beagle puppies there for the day while we attended a Graduation on the Western Shore. When we went to pick them up, they were happy and playing. They took great care of our babies while we were gone. I would definitely take them back whenever I needed a daycare or a boarding place. I highly recommend them!!

This was my first time visiting peace of mind pet boarding and I will never choose another place but this. I needed both of my dogs’ toenails trimmed. I was very anxious about the whole process, but everyone was super friendly and competent and made the whole process seamless.

Peace of Mind Boarding does a great job in caring for my doggie. I just used them recently and their professionalism, clean and modern facilities, and responsive staff surely gave me peace of mind. I will definitely board my dog there again. The photo is of my happy doggie after 8 days boarding.

What a wonderful place to board your pet. My Maggie spent 6 days at Peace of Mind and I couldn't be happier with the care she received. The owner worked with me when my flight was delayed and I couldn't pick Maggie up until the next day. Best part is that even with separation anxiety, Maggie didn't have to take any meds. I have already booked her next stay . LOVE ❤️ 😍 💖

Just picked up our dog Nelly from Peace of Mind and she will def be back again next time we go out of town!!! Brittney and Heather are so nice and really care about each pup like they were their own 💕 When they brought our dog Nelly out for pick up, I could tell right away that Nelly LOVED them both and had been well taken care of while we were away. They even washed her bedding for us after she had an accident on her first night, which was so super nice of them to do!

I called last minute to get our dog in for a simple bath and they got her in and did a great job. They were super friendly and kind. We will be definitely using them again.

Jess is very upbeat and you can tell she loves her job. My dog looks great and had a great experience. She truly cares about her clients. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we will be back!

Love this place! The staff are so kind, and seem to enjoy my little dog, even though she's an ornery little puppy.. She loved being there! It was a great vacation for us and for her. I used to kennel my cat here before she passed, now they are looking after my puppy. There's no place I would trust more. Appropriately named, Peace of Mind!

Charley, my Havanese, has stayed with Top of the Bay while I was hospitalized and received the best of care. They have done a great job with his grooming. I am very pleased with Greg and his staff.

This is a great place to take your pet for lodging. My dog has stayed here two different times and comes home happy and healthy. He got groomed here as well and the groomer did a great job! Highly recommend this place!

This place used to be "Top of the Bay"Now it is rundown and shabby looking, Overpriced,And now they exploit dogs with these ridiculous dog shows,And obedience training,Which is done cruelly,Skip this place and go to Keverton or Goldenwood

They take care of the dogs, however the place is run down and disorganized! The kennels are clean, but the facilities need a really good cleaning & overall makeover! The layout is so dysfunctional it causes the employees to spend so much time running in circles! This place needs to be torn down & built over to be functional & run properly & smoothly!

We have been using Top of the Bay for years and love the staff! Extremely friendly and I love that the owner lives on site so the animals are never alone. My English Mastiff can be very timid - the first two times I practically had to drag him in - by the 3rd time his tail wags, he is excited, and walks right on in. The only draw back is the appearance, the place is a little outdated - not a fancy dog spa. But personally, I care more about the staff and how they treat the animals.

They were very accommodating. I drove in from out of town and they saw me when I got in. They took great care of my cat, Athena, and dog, Zeus. My pets did NOT want to leave. Plus, they had so much fun that they slept the entire ride home, which was about an hour and a half. They did not have too much energy the next day either. Lol! I go to St. Michael's about 10 times a year so I will be stopping back at Top of the Bay Pet Lodge again.

Love the team here. Great for boarding, and also training. The staff really cares about your dog - it's good to know your buddy is being cared in great manner. Will continue to use this nice place.

We boarded our 2 three year old beagles here for 4 days. The place is very dated, but it appears safe. They use a two gate system to keep dogs in, which was our main concern given the nature of beagles. The reason for my review is for the extremely poor, rushed nail trimming job they did on one of our beagles. We called over 5 hours before pickup to state that we would arrive around 5-5:30PM to pickup our dogs; we arrived at 5:20PM. When we walked in, they indicated that they had forgotten to clip our one dogs toes. They said they would do it right then. They did, and the $20 nail trim took all of about 2 mins. This was shocking to me, as our vet and normal groomer usually take much longer, but nonetheless we paid our bill and left. About 10 mins later down the road we noticed blood everywhere on my wife's shirt, front seat, and dash. Four nails, one on each of her paws were bleeding very heavily. It was not a small drop of blood, but a very noticeable and alarming amount. They were cut way, way too short. We live close by and immediately called the pet lodge to notify them of what was going on, and ask what we needed to do. Their comment to my wife was, "this happens here all the time, just put some baking soda on them or anything startchy." They did not offer any apology whatsoever, and frankly acted surprised that we would call them with such a small issue as having a dog with 4 profusely bleeding toe nails. It is also not common with professional nail trimming, and it has never happened at any point in the past when we have had them done at our vets office or normal groomer. We have always paid someone to do it because we understood how incredibly painful it is for them to get cut too short. After this treatment we could never trust them to provide any service for our dogs, and frankly have serious concerns for their grooming ability and judgment. It would be one thing if it was one nail, and they apologized; dogs can move, I get it. This, however, was a botched rushed job that resulted in extreme pain for the dog, 4 bloody toenails, blood all over my car, and an excuse that "it happens all the time."

They do a great job grooming my fluffy corgi. And believe me, there's a ton of fluff to groom. My pup is always excited to go visit and is always happy and ready when I pick him up. Would definitely recommend.

Yesterday I took my little Shitzu Poo to Top of the Bay for grooming. I didnt realize how scruffy Rugby was until they bought out Rugby after grooming...I now have a show dog ! I was so excited. They not only made my dog beautiful, the groomer gave me so much info on this breed of dog without me even asking. I'm just so impressed with Top of the Bay and their staff.

We brought our 4 year old German shepherd/ husky for a last minute stay. They were extremely accommodating, provided photos, a report card and provided exceptional care to our baby. He got to go for a nature walk, have some yard time and play in the pool which is his favorite activity in the world! Staff was extremely lovely and we can’t wait to come back!! I was a little apprehensive about taking my two dogs to a kennel. They are 5 and 7 years old and normally they stay at home with a sitter when we go away. My dogs made out fine and were very happy when we picked them up after a 14 day stay. I will certainly take them back to Golden Wood when we go on our next trip!

The staff is very nice and the care they give is individualized to the pet. My animals are always happy and relaxed when I pick them up. The facility has been modernized and is very clean and attractive.

Golden Wood is a great place to leave your pet while you are on vacation. We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and she is very lovable. They have a wonderful staff, and they just love when Abigail smiles at them. We really get to enjoy our vacation knowing that they are taking great care of our Abigail while we are away. Golden Wood definitely gets 5 stars and hands down the best place to leave your pets. I will highly recommend them to anyone who asks where to leave their pets. #1goldenwood kennels is the BEST

We have used Golden Wood Kennels numerous times for our two dogs. We love the staff and our dogs love the staff, which is the most important thing. Love getting pics of their snuggle time and we always feel comfortable boarding them there, knowing they will be safe, comfortable and most of all LOVED!!!!

Kelley R. gave our pup her first haircut and it is adorable! Our pup doesn't have her confidence yet with new situations and people and this made me nervous leaving her for grooming. But I felt she was safe at Golden Wood and obviously Kelley was able to keep her calm and gave her an awesome haircut. We will be back.

It's hard to have someone else watch your pets but I really trust Golden Wood. Their communication is amazing and it's so wonderful to be able to book online. My dog and my cat have both stayed at Golden Wood and I will continue to bring them here when I go out of town. The staff is very helpful and I am so happy knowing my pets are in good hands!

Kelley always does a fantastic job grooming our dogs. They leave looking beautiful and happy. Our boy Mateo says 4 paws up!

Goldenwood was perfect! Daily updates on Bella with pictures and she came home happy, healthy and clean!

Dandyland is second to none! My little cavi, Karl, loves going for daycare and comes home happy and tired! I feel 100% comfortable leaving him in their care. Karl just had his first groom and OMG he looks amazing!! We are very lucky to have Dandyland in our little town 🐶 Thanks Ginny and Margie!

We have been taking Tony, our standard poodle, for grooming, to Dandyland for nearly 7 years. Tony loves them and we love the cut he gets every 5 weeks. Highly recommend

The ladies there are wonderful! My parents dog loves going to get groomed. He's a golden retriever and after his "Furminator" treatment he comes home so happy and his fur feels so soft and fluffy!

Kevertin is the best. The people that work here love my pet and she's quite ok with going there and she likes the handlers. She comes here to play with other dogs and also gets kenneled when we go somewhere and can't take her

Excellent! Family owned/ran, kind, compassionate. My puppy did great during her overnight stay (4 or 5 nights) and came home bathed, brushed, happy! All her items/toys she came with were categorized and returned laundered! I brought the pup back for grooming along with my other dog and they did an amazing job! The last 2 photos are before pix. Very reasonable cost also. My chihuahua terrier is very unruly when it comes to getting his nails trimmed (no luck at Petsmart, they refused bc he tried to bite, & the vets will do it but it took 2 ppl to hold him down, muzzle etc). Well, at Kevertin it only took one person (Willa I believe) and they had no problem to report when I asked how he did. I could also tell he was calm when I picked him up, not scared and shaky as per usual. I love this place and highly recommend!

A very professional well-run kennel that really is all about the dogs under their care. We’ve used the kennel for overnight stays and also the day care. I was impressed by their careful evaluation of our dog.

Planning to leave our dog with Kevertin for an upcoming vacation. Since this will be her first time, we visited 2 well known sights. We were impressed with their set up, tour of the facility and attention to our concerns. They have a set price that includes everything for your pet including play time, medications and special needs. No multiple upgrade fees like the other place we visited. They also offered a visitation day at no cost for our dogs introduction and ability to become familiar with the resort and staff.

My dog gets major boarding stress and anxiety but when I leave her at Kevertin I can feel confident they are taking good care of her. I can call anytime and get reassured she is doing ok. She makes out just fine. She is 14 and mostly deaf. This is a picture of Peaches.

I have been taking my dog here for years and was a little worried about the new management. But believe it or not the new management is even better! Our dog is staying there now and will be there for 21 days. Upon request, they sent us pictures of playing with a chicken and swimming in the pond. And also running around with lots of other dogs. Made me feel better about being away from her.

We had a family event in my house yesterday and because of the amount of people we invited, it was best that I leave my darling dogs in the care of Wye River Kennel for the day and night. I highly recommend using Wye River Kennel for your boarding needs! The staff always goes above and beyond to care for my two mini Australian shepherds. Emily and Tori are incredibly welcoming and helpful and will do anything to make sure my dogs are cared for and loved during their stay. I drive almost an hour to keep my dogs at Wye River because they are that great. I’ve been using them for nearly two years now and have always had the best experience. The kennel is clean and well taken care of.

We boarded our 3 Toy Manchester's for 24 days in Apr, 2024. They clearly had a wonderful time, as they weren't even anxious to go home. They looked at me like, "what are you doing here??" I'm convinced that they had accepted Wye River as their new home.

Our pets experience was top notch. We felt like our dog was staying with a loving friend. The enrichment and daily updates made us feel connected while we were away. I look forward to our next trip knowing our pup will be in safe hands.

Our dog Sura had the best time at Wye River Kennel. The staff was patient and kind as she was a little nervous at first. She enjoyed the outdoor time with the other dogs and her walks. Bonus points for having her all bath and ready to come home when her visit was over.

Wye River Kennels is an amazing place. Boarded my German Shepard for 9 days. She did amazing. We don’t board her very often but when we do she doesn’t eat much, lays around, and we usually end up with a $400 vet bill for infection. At Wye River she ate, was with other dogs without barking at them, and didn’t need any anxiety medicine. First time at Wye River and she loved it. They even sent me a video of her interacting with the dogs as he knew I was anxious about boarding her. Rocky and his staff are amazing. This will be the only place I board her from now on. They also are the most reasonably priced. Can’t say enough about them.

The only petsitting company I will use. I absolutely love the client portal, which makes it incredibly easy to schedule care, make payments, and receive updates. The sitters are incredibly responsive, and I do appreciate the fact that multiple sitters are available to ensure coverage. Your care for our fur babies is appreciated!!

I am extremely happy with the service I received. During the normal course of pet sitting I received constant updates by text, along with pictures, I never had to wonder if someone was there while I was away on vacation. On the later part of my vacation, one of our dogs fell very ill, and the sitter assigned to us went well far beyond our expectations, taking our dog to the vet, picking up medication and administering it, and even cooking a special meal recommended by the vet in their own home and bringing it to him. Simply amazing.

Absolutely love the team. I’ve had Katie and her team sit my dogs and cats for years. I trust them, and they treat my pets like their own. All my pets love Katie and her team. I’ve had pets who have had serious medical issues, and I’ve never worried while I’ve been gone knowing they’d receive all their meds and top level care.

Katherine is absolutley incredible at what she does! She loves animals and it shows! This was our 1st time leaving our puppy and we felt so comfortable knowing he was getting cared for by Katherine. She updates you a few times a day and makes you feel at ease knowing your fur baby is in good hands. I'm ready to plan another trip away, so Oliver can have another great time with his friends and Katie! She is the best out there!!

Katie is fantastic. My boy absolutely loves his friend Katie. It makes my day when she sends me photos or videos of him during the day. Everyone with claws and paws has been nothing short of amazing. Quick responses, they do their best to fit me in if I need it last min! They always take such good care of my animals and always send me pictures when I’m away and missing my babies! 10/10 recommend.

Katie is the BEST!!! We have a very difficult cat and Katie went above and beyond to accommodate. Our cat has anxiety problems and is afraid of everything, he runs and hides from strangers. She was able to get him to come out of hiding. She sent videos and updates while we were gone. We give Katie 10 stars because 5 is not enough. Will definitely be using Claws and Paws in the future.
