We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... She is a consummate pet professional! Handling unique dietary plans for each, medication schedules, and of course looking after all their basic needs including cuddles and love. Joana’s care is detailed and sincere, showing genuine interest and affection for her furry clients. She provides daily progress notes and photos/videos, which come with a sense of true presence noting behavior/moods of the day as well as anything else important. Home from Home dog boarding is a fantastic service. Our dogs love Karla and are always very happy to stay there. I’ve left them just for the day, but also just over 2 weeks. Last time, one of them had a deep cut that needed cleaning and she needed antibiotics. I trusted Karla 100% to look after her and, of course, she did! Karla is always responsive to messages too. My dogs are my babies and usually I’m a worrier, but not when I leave them with Karla!
Absolute amazing and welcoming place where I confidently know that while I’m on holiday, my dogs are having (most likely) a better time than I am! Would highly recommended.
We never have to worry about our dogs when they stay here with Karla and Alan. They love going for their mini breaks at their home from home hotel.Wish it was nearer us though, as Milly hates the journey.
