When we started to plan a trip to Italy, I couldn’t get too excited until I knew who would watch our dogs. Our regular sitter could only cover the first several nights, so I had to find someone to cover the rest of the trip. I looked for hours to find someone who meets our high standards and could stay at our home, especially since we would be an ocean away. Once we did a meet and greet with Gabby I knew she would be perfect. Our dogs loved her and she sent us tons of photos, videos and updates. There is no doubt these pups had constant love and attention. I never had to worry about them which allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. When we came home they were calm and healthy. I would not be able to say that if we left them at a kennel. We feel like we made a new friend and am so happy to know I can trust her with our kids. Our home was clean and all secure when we returned, what a great experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Salute!

I don't even know where to begin. Let's just say I have two high maintenance dogs, one being elderly and one being a Jack Russell (enough said on that one!) I always struggle to relax when I am away, because the older dog has separation anxiety, and at nearly fifteen years old, I know her days are numbered. It is hard for me to have peace of mind not being able to be the main caretaker of her. Then I found Gabby. I have never had a vacation where I was able to relax and not be worried about how everything was going at home. Gabby went above and beyond, even with the crazy medication and supplement schedule I have the senior gal on, and the demanding nature of a high drive breed. She sent updates and pictures every single day. I did not have to wonder what was happening or how everything was going. I honestly could write pages about how amazing our experience with Gabby was, but let's just say this.. BOOK HER NOW. I'm already looking for dates for vacation next year so I can be sure to have her in advance. Could not have asked for anything more from her at all. If I could give an infinite amount of stars, I would!!

I have 2 tiny dogs that have super sensitive stomachs and eat 4 times a day. I had to travel out of state for almost a week and was extremely preoccupied about leaving my 2 little ones. I found Melrose pet resort, and let me tell you that Gabby is the most amazing, comprehensive, and pet lover dog sitter you could found. She took care of my babies like they were hers, she went above and beyond to accommodate them so they could be separated from bigger dogs, as I asked, they could have their meals at their regular schedule and she also kept updating me constantly with videos and pictures of my little ones. They had such a great time with her, got to make a few little friends that were staying at her place, and even participated in a Christmas photoshoot!. She gave me piece of mind while on my trip, and I definitely will be using her services next time I travel.

I cannot recommend Gabby and Melrose Pet Resort enough! As a bulldog owner I’m always looking for the best care possible since our boy tends to need a little extra attention, and we absolutely found it with Gabby. She followed our directions to a “T”, and went above and beyond. She also sent us videos and updates throughout our vacation, putting my mind at ease about how our boy was doing. She also took great care of our home while we were away. Gabby is the best and we can’t wait to plan our next vacation and get on her schedule!

Gabby’s attention to detail is on another level. She did an amazing job with our dog, Remi. He is a creature of habit, and his transition from us being out of town to Gabby staying with him and taking care of his routine was seamless. She thinks of everything to ease your mind of what is going on. Her love for animals is apparent, and I appreciate that so much. Remi has specific medications that have to be taken, and I was not worried about Gabby covering everything perfectly. All the wonderful pictures she sent was a bonus, she should consider being a pet photographer! Thank you so much for taking care of our spoiled boy, Remi!

I cannot rave about how great Gabby and Kris were with my dog! Being a sitter myself I know I can trust them with my anxious little boy going forward. I have never left my dog with anyone but my family before and him being an older and anxious dog I was not sure how he’d do. But almost immediately Gabby and Kris made him feel so comfortable and right at home. He received all the attention and affection he needed and I also received all the updates and pictures I needed to know he was doing great. Knowing how well he was taken care of now makes me wonder why I was even worried about him to begin with! During our 9 day vacation we were nervous to leave our shy cat alone since this would be the longest time away. We expressed this to Gabby, who reassured us before and during our trip. Talk about an AMAZING dog sitter and person, Melrose Pet Resort is a far better pet sitter that I ever came across. I came from out of state, and we were recommended to Melrose Pet Resort while we look for a home. Contacted her and immediately got a quick response. I never in my life have as much interaction with her as other dog sitters in the past. I have a Deaf dog and one with diet needs... Gabby constantly send photo's and video's of there activities, and I could see how happy my fur babies were. She is very personal and active with my pets and I am excited to have her again and as well as Chico and Bella. I am glad I am moving to Florida knowing when I need Gabby again, I will never have to worry about my fur babies again, knowing they will be in great care.... WOOF WOOF APPROVED

Hands-down, the best pet sitter I've ever had the honor to work with. It was like leaving the dogs with a family friend. If I even had the slightest worry about them or their care, it vanished in the rain of delightful photos and videos and the constant updates about breakfast, dinner, lizard hunts and games of Ball. It is just possible that my dogs had a better time than I did while I was on vacation. They stayed in their very own room, in crates for everyone's safety, but were out and about quite a lot of the time (certainly WAY more than they would be in a kennel or daycare) and they were treated like family. They got to "help" make dinner and cuddle on the sofa and watch TV. Obi even got to chase MANY BALLS AT THE SAME TIME. Heaven! Obi and Ursa can't wait to stay with Aunt Gabby again!

We recently put our baby Jasmine here after searching for a boarding facility for weeks. And I can't say how happy we are that we decided to choose Melrose Pet Center opposed to one of those facilities. Not only did she get personalized care, she got love and affection the entire time. We know so because Gabby sent us updates daily; mornings, afternoons when she could, and night. She sent Pictures and videos and Jasmine looked like she was having the time of her life. I also loved the cute bandanas she had while we got the pictures. We were even lucky enough to get a pic of Jas with Santa in their home (Thanks Kris!! Lol). Jasmine also enjoyed playing with her dogs, tiring them out all day! If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! Thank you again for treating our pup like she was one of your own!

I used Fetch many times, Gina was my cat sitter and my cats LOVED her, we are new to the area and I was so happy that we were able to find someone to watch our two kitties, who you can see in the photos! We hired them from August 3rd to August 11th and Paulette, the owner, was the one who watched them. We were so happy to have the owner take over for Gina, but it was the worst experience we have ever had and I have spent the entire last month trying to get this fixed. Our last visit was at 7:30 pm on August 11th and we returned at 6:00 am on August 12th. When we arrived our cats had no water at all, they have a large fountain and it was completely empty. What if I didn't get home until later that night? Their litter box was also almost empty, instead of the 3 inches we left it with there was only about 1/2 inch of litter, while the giant tub of litter was right outside the bathroom door. I leave a note detailing instructions, nothing complicated, but I don't believe it was ever read, cans were put in the open recycling instead of a closed garbage where we put them for safety. None of my outside plants were watered, the cats treat container was broken and just left on the counter, where the cats could get it. No one reached out to me the entire time I was gone to ask any questions at all. Gina would text me each time she visited, while I know that was extra it was appreciated. Honestly I would think that a trainee came into my home, not the owner of the company. I never write things like this but it was appalling . I have now spent the past MONTH trying to reach some sort of solution to this issue. I have emailed them 8 times, no response, and I know that they check the email because they have chose to text me, but then not respond to any emails. I texted them, I only asked for a partial refund for how honestly horrible the service was, but have got nothing back. I have never been treated this way I have no idea what is going on with this company. I travel 3-4 times a year and have hired Fetch for every trip, but never again. I am honestly so hurt and disappointed that they would treat my cats this way after I trusted them in their care and then never rectify the situation. I will NEVER use them again and warn others against using them. I spent a month trying to fix this so I don't have to be that person writing a bad review, but here we are.

Fetch! has been such a great service on our past few trips. We have had Monique and Adrienne help out. They take such great care of my cat and it gives me great piece of mind that she’s safe and happy. - They do a mini consult to meet the pet and go over the details of their visits. - for my pet, they clean the litter, refresh the water, refill the food, give snacks, and play/snuggle - after the visit you get photos from the session and a journal - they will even bring in delivery packages and cans, no problem!

Very easy to schedule pet sitting and the sitter is always responsive. They provide great care to my cats when I am out of town. I've been using them for the last few years anytime I am out of town and I have never had an issue. I would and have recommended them to friends.

I cannot recommend Fetch highly enough! The app is so well-organized; you will receive a "yes or no" checklist of things your pet-sitter did during each visit (fed, watered, scooped litter box, etc.) and if they return for multiple visits, they will also note how your pet reacted to those things (did they eat? want to play? use litter box?). They also send a personalized note and photo of your pet each visit; it was such a relief to be able to watch my cat get more and more comfortable hanging out with Paulette in real-time while I was away. :) They put so much care and attention into pet-sitting and communicating with pet-owners while doing so. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my cat!!

She took notes of our instructions and gave us peace of mind making sure that our kitties are going to be safe and sound. I never have to worry about the care of my pets since I found Fetch! They are so dependable, the price is great, and the app is easy to use. I also love that the same wonderful Fetch! pet care person (thank you Lenore!) has always been available to care for my pets- cause when you have cats that take a bit to warm up to people, that is piece of mind! Monique understood exactly the situation I was facing, helping a family member who had to leave town for an emergency (and I'm in a different state). They were able to find a wonderful pet sitter for us in a flash, who was just wonderful with Cookie the kitty. Those of us who have pets know that they are not just "pets". They are members of our families. I had a family emergency and had to go out of town. Monigue took care of my bird at my home while I was away and she was absolutely great! Honestly, I think she took better care of "Nancy" than I do! She sent me a picture every time she visited which made me feel a lot better about leaving her in someone else's care. Another thoughtful item is that Monique did a "meet and greet " with Nancy and me before I left. She was also extremely responsive when I would send her a text regarding any additional information she may have needed, etc. I would use their service again in a heartbeat.

Monique did an awesome job checking in on my two cats for 9 days. She was reliable and took care of everything they needed. One of the cats knocked over a glass and she let me know immediately, swept it up, and checked to make sure neither of them were hurt. I would use her again for peace of mind while away!

I love camp bow wow! But more importantly, my dog absolutely loves camp bow wow! Watching her on the cameras all day. Just playing her little heart away. Makes me so happy that she's just not sitting in a cage while I'm at work and then the best part. I call it a camp hangover is when my puppy comes home. She's super chill and I don't have to spend hours draining her energy. I recommend camp bow Wow to any dog parent out there. The staff is amazing! The own ers you can tell this is More than a business to them!

Our family loves and trusts Camp Bow Wow and have used them for boarding for more than four years. As our dog got older and required medication during his stays, they administered without any issues. He recently passed and the Camp Bow Wow staff mailed us a handwritten card and gift in his honor. Wow, that was above and beyond and meant so much to us. If you’re looking for a great place to board your dog in the city, we absolutely recommend.

Love this place. My dog also loves it. He knows where he is going and gets very excited. The staff love him and know him by name. He is a bit rambunctious, but they take time with him and keep an eye out if he starts becoming too active. He is the dog that keeps everyone moving around. I will continue to use this site!!

My fur baby loves Camp Bow Wow Highland Park in Pittsburgh. He has been a regular camper for all of his 14 years. Camp Bow Wow helped me out when my dog needed to be boarded with little notice due to a family emergency over a holiday weekend. I will always be grateful for their help.

Our dog loved attending Camp Bow Wow Highland Park. The care from the staff was personal and the play with the other dogs wore out our energetic pup. Having the peace of mind that when we couldn't be with our dog, he was well looked after and loved was so well worth making the choice to put him here.

Camp Bow Wow Highland Park is fantastic. Their staff is very caring and responsive. Their groomer, Katie, is one of the best in the city (and we’ve tried a few). They are extremely focused on the safety of dogs and giving them a positive experience. We’ve used them for daycare, boarding and grooming. Love that they have the live web cams :) Overall, I would give them an A+!

Highland Park is a fantastic place with individuals who genuinely care about dogs and providing the best possible place for them to be safe and play. Though I have since left, I spent almost seven years working there, and can confidently say it is a space that your dog can have fun! The best part was building relationships with all the furry campers that came in. Staff love to get to know each and every dog and all of their quirks and loveable behaviors. Current clients are always willing and excited to share their experiences with newer customers, and I have always found this a great aspect of the location. I adopted a 16-year-old Brussels Griffon (Lady Stella) from a client and having already planned a vacation, and not wanting to drag her across the country, always felt secure that the staff would take care of her while I was gone. Like every other dog that comes in, they knew her, had built a relationship with her, and she was comfortable there. It was her home away from home. The current staff, particularly the director Michele, trainer Kim, and the groomer Katie are all exceptional at what they do and take immense pride in providing the best service for every dog they meet. It's not always easy but it is their passion! It's a place where you and your dog can build relationships and I have never been involved with a group that cares more about those relationships. PS. People who work here are very friendly. You can watch your dog on camera the whole time. My dog seemed to have a good time and I feel he is safe.

They charged a late fee for being 10 minutes late(due to road being blocked off by police) and did not inform me of it. I had to question why the final amount was different than what was quoted on the phone. If there is a late fee fine but you should advise your customers of this policy before beginning the service and especially let them know what they are being charged extra for without them having to question it. Shady business practice and I will not be returning.

Great staff, services, and facility. We, and our pups, learned a lot during training sessions with Kim. The pups always enjoy their spa days and grooming sessions with Katie.

Great, as usual! I didn't get my dog bathed this time and he still came home smelling clean. I'm always impressed with this place and will never go anywhere else for my dogs boarding needs! Thank you Country Lane!!!

Have brought my 12 year old lab here many times. 1st visit for my 6month old puppy. Very accommodating to my fur babies. Bringing them back in 10 days. Plenty of supervised play time, clean accommodations and going above and beyond for finicky dogs. Extra caring caregivers that can not be beat. Even has pick up services if you can't bring your dogs to them. Affordable prices as well. Always happy to leave my fur babies with country lane.

Love this place! We've been using them for kennel services for about 17 yrs. Many of the same staff has been there the entire time. They treat our dogs like there are their dogs. I always feel safe leaving them in their hands.

A nice variety of high quality foods and treats. I also board my Rottweiler here from time to time. I love the staff, they are so helpful and they love my dog, which makes me so comfortable when i leave her. She loves the staff too!

Bella loved her stay there. They are great with taking care of her. She is on daily meds, special diet, and doesn't get along well with most other dogs. She socialized with other dogs and they groomed her. She was on a nice vacation while we were.

We have taken our dogs to Mancusos Pet Hotel for 40 years. The dogs love going there, and they get the best care. Mancusos prides themselves that someone is always there overnight (not as prevalent in other kennels as you would like to believe). They are the best.

This was our first time hiring a catsitter and we were reluctant to have someone we didn’t know take care of Cece while we left town for the weekend. I found Fetch and was astonished by their overwhelmingly positive reviews, so I called and spoke to Matt who was extremely kind and helpful in clearly/concisely explaining how their business operates. I told my girlfriend about it and we weren’t sure what to expect but Pam was excellent and super nice! She actually set up a time to come down, meet us at our apartment, say hello to our cat, and ask us everything she needs to know about taking care of Cece before we left. She also sent us pictures every time she stopped in to show us that Cece was okay which is really important to us as her owners. We use Sarah as our cat sitter and she is amazing! We know our cats are in great hands with her. In addition, this service is reliable, friendly, and always makes sure we have a sitter. We had such a great first experience with Fetch. Our sitter was extremely professional and provided great care for our two cats while we were on vacation. She called or texted me each day she visited to let me know how they were doing which I really appreciated. She even was able to help us by coming over early one day at the last minute when there was a potential emergency situation with water leakage in our home. I contacted Fetch Pet Care to take care of my cat when I had to go out of town on relatively short notice. They were very accommodating and flexible, which I appreciated! Aimee took great care of my cat while I was away, and even sent me pictures of him to let me know he was doing ok! It was such a peace of mind to be able to keep my cat at home while I was away. Fetch is now my go-to group for pet care and I highly recommend them!

I have used Fetch for the last 10+ years. When I have traveled I have had the same two people come into my home to care for my cats. I have never worried and whenever I have returned home the cats’ attitudes have been “we didn’t miss you at all“. Beth W has boarded my dogs in her home for the last 5+ years. I typically get a video or two showing them at “Club Med” and I am always amazed at how tired and happy they are when I pick them up. After a bad experience with another pet sitting service (dogs were their priority), we discovered Fetch and used them for over a year when we lived in Pittsburgh. What I love about their model is that you get assigned an animal sitter which I prefer so that our cats get comfortable and familiar with one person. Obviously if they are unavailable, Fetch can arrange for a back up. Our cat sitter was Paulette and she was warm and wonderful to our two cats! She would usually send photos during each visit which gave us piece of mind. She would come twice a day, usually for 30 minute visits. And she was always ready to care for our furbabies on short notice. I highly recommend Fetch and Paulette for peace of mind when you have to go away! Billing is done monthly and you can add a tip if you are short on cash before going away.

DPD has been taking care of our dog Cooper since he was 12 weeks old and we couldn’t be more grateful for all their care over the last three years. They are always available via text and are very flexible with scheduling and moving walks. We have also had Cooper boarded with DPD many times and he always comes back a happy pup. They always provide photos and descriptions of the service which put a huge smile on our face when we are away. We just got back from a short trip to NYC and we used DPD for the very first time. Steve was really great with our dog Sophie. I loved getting the update reports and additional text messages that really set our minds at ease. We haven't been able to travel together in 6 years because we couldn't get anyone to watch Sophie and we didn't want her in a kennel. The DPD team has been so wonderful, they began walking my dog angus a year ago, I stopped using them recently due to a move but would recommend them to anyone. I have a large Staffy and he is incredibly difficult to walk and care for and they have handled him swimmingly and provide the cutest pictures and updates from his walks. We will miss working with DPD so much!

DPD has been crucial to being able to have a puppy while working full time out of the house! We got our puppy at 2 months old and DPD was able to start walking her right away- relived lots of our worries about going to work and helped us in potty training. Now she's 8 months and has started walking with other dogs for socialization! Kevin is exactly the person you'd want to speak with when getting started with a puppy- so knowledgable. The walkers are dependable, friendly in their communication, punctual and true animal lovers. We know Pierogi is in good hands everyday :) Plus our day is made getting a midday picture and update. We love the flexibility of cancellation, ease of use with their online portal and ability for last minute requests as my husband's schedule can change occasionally. We've also used the boarding services for a trip and again knew our pup was in good hands- she came back tired and happy after lots of outside play time! Highly recommend and are so happy to continue using their services!

We have a condo in Downtown PGH and a sweet new puppy! A friend of mine referred us to DTPD …. Every level of service and care was exceptional!!! Our little pup is excited every time someone comes to walk her … we also had to board her for two nights and there was no doubt how loved and cared for she was! Their communication is outstanding and comforting!! Sooo very happy we are clients !!

Couldn’t be happier with the DPD Team! The owner, Kevin, is awesome and taught me how to properly walk my dogs and fit my nearly unmanageable golden puppy with a collar that stopped his pulling. My dog walker, Tim, is very professional and has done wonders for my dogs. Tim’s communication is great and he sends me an update and pic after each walk. Every other member of the team have been great to work with and they’re quick to respond if I have a last minute request. I’ve been nothing but impressed with Downtown Pittsburgh Dogs and they’re worth every penny!!!

We have been using Downtown Pittsburgh Dogs to help fill in the gaps when we aren't able to walk our German Shorthaired Pointer puppy. The walkers always show up, they are all great with Luna, and we appreciate the post walk messages that they send. It is also incredibly easy to book appointments with the online portal. There have been a few times I needed last minute walks booked and they have a number you can text and someone always responds within a reasonable amount of time. Having a puppy, especially while working full time, can be stressful at times but having a trustworthy service like DPD around has made this experience so much less stressful. I appreciate this local Pittsburgh company and highly recommend (esp for my fellow healthcare workers who work long shifts!!).

I cannot say enough good things about Merry Puppins. My previous dog walker had struggled to bond with my challenging chihuahua and I was looking for a fresh start. The ladies of Merry Puppins have been a huge breath of fresh air! They take their time with my pups, use lots of positive reinforcement, and have worked miracles. I think my dogs might like them more than they like me. The added socialization of having multiple “new friends” has also made a huge difference for my little girl, and she’s much less nervous around new people now and getting better every day.

Merry Puppins treats your animals like family. They know my pups mean everything to me and they show them so much love and care. I love all the photos and journal updates. It really brightens up my day when I'm away from the pups. I truly appreciate everything that they do.

They treat my pets with great kindness and consideration and I never worry about my home or my pets in their presence. I appreciate and enjoy the pictures and commentary provided with their visits. They understand that our “pets” are our family and treat them and us with great kindness. Melissa is very professional, has high standards for herself and her staff. Already my rescue feels safe with her and because dogs are excellent judges of character, so do I. My other little girl is very nervous and Merry Puppins respects her needs.

We love having Merry Puppins take care of our pets while we're away. They are truly knowledgable about animals, extremely trustworthy, and professional. We get updates and photos from them after each visit, and Melissa has even crawled into a small space to make sure my hiding scaredy-cat was doing okay! They can also bring in mail and do a few other minor tasks. Their scheduling system is easy to use, and the interface allows for all of your information and communication to be in one spot. We love their service and highly recommend them!

Really excellent experience. I have 2 rescue dogs: one is a bit dog reactive and has a history of separation anxiety and the other is a pandemic puppy, who is new to me working out of the home and can be a bit shy of strangers in the house. Melissa did great working with both of them, she made sure they were comfortable, filled their water, brought in packages, etc. I also loved getting the little report after the visit with pictures and a description -- it gave me such peace of mind! Definitely excellent value and very worth it -- especially for those of us who can't send their dogs to day care or whose dogs need a little more experienced/specialized hand! Highly recommend!

Everyone at Merry Puppins is so attentive to detail, and so incredibly responsible! My pup has a lot of medical concerns (and comes with a lot of instructions!), and they always take care of everything to the letter. Their updates/check ins are adorable and thorough, and help put my mind at ease!

I after my first weekend using Merry Puppins, I’m completely satisfied! Melissa and Erika took such good care of my kitties. They sent wonderful pictures and notes each time they came and they made me feel very relaxed about it all. Great people!

Mary was the perfect match for my husband and I while we were looking for cat sitters for our two cats, Spook, and Tiny. We were gone for 15 days, and Mary came once a day at the same time every day to feed, pet, and give treats to our boys. She sent daily updates with messages and photos showing us how they were doing, cleaned up their messes, scooped their litter box, and brought our packages in. We slept so soundly and enjoyed our vacation so much more because she made us feel like we were in good hands. Thank you so much, Mary! 10/10 would recommend.

We’ve taken our dogs to pet palace a couple times. The staff are nice, though the place itself just gets the job of boarding done as the dogs bark a lot in the same space. This review is about the grooming service we added. I am not even sure if the bath was given as my doodle is so matted with tangled hair, esp his tail, and usually after bath his hair is soft and puffy. All in all, board but DO NOT do the grooming add on.

Had to come to Pittsburgh for medical appointments needing X-ray so had to find a reliable place for my service dog to hang out for a few hours. Making an appointment on the portal was so easy. When he arrived, they treated him so well and made sure he was happy and comfortable, giving him one on one time and documenting his day. We will definitely be back!!

Update: Aug 2024 Rooney is so happy when she realizes that she is going to Pet Palace. Some of the staff have changed and I will miss them but the current staff is caring and kind. I just love the fact that they have relationships with Rooney and they love her too! My yellow lab Rooney has been going to Pet Palace for about 2 years now (Since 2020). We love it here. The staff are exceptional in their love and attention to the dogs and the overnight accommodations are great. They even offer a webcam for me to check in on her while she's there for a night. Thank you to the staff. I am waiting for some Pet Palace swag - a sticker would be great.

My two Poodles were grooming clients with Per Palace at their Southside location for about 2 years, we will never take our pets back to this location, and I suggest you do the same. A week after picking my dogs up from the groomer, my oldest started coughing. After speaking with my vet, they advised it was likely kennel cough. I called Pet Palace to see if they had any cases of kennel cough, and to my surprise, I was informed there was an outbreak and my pets were there when the outbreak was happening. I was never told that my pets potentially could have been exposed. The staff told me “we told all of our boarding clients, the groomer was supposed to tell you”. Well she didn’t. What makes me so upset is that this was purposely hidden from me. When I asked to speak to the groomer, I was told “she doesn’t want to speak with you”. Go figure. Believe it or not, this gets worse. A few days after getting our dogs groomed, we brought home an 8 week old French Bulldog. Had we been informed of the kennel cough outbreak, we would have waited until we knew our Poodles were not infected/beat the infection before bringing home our new puppy. Unfortunately, both Poodles and the Frenchie puppy contracted kennel cough. To be honest, Pet Palace did offer to pay for the medical care needed for all three dogs, and they did follow through with this. I just wish it would have never gotten to that point. Whether it was incompetence or negligence, this situation could have been avoided completely. If we simply would have been informed of the outbreak, it would have been a non-issue. But for me, the act of hiding it and not informing me has broken all trust.

Awesome place that our dog, Frankie, LOVES! We started coming here after meeting Samantha at an event. We are nervous owners with a somewhat nervous dog, but he comes back tired & happy! Samantha & all of the staff always welcome Frankie by name, they treat him like a tiny king! When we call for updates, they are super sweet & really take the time to check in. They seem to do a good job of monitoring playgroups, too. They always make sure his needs & ours are met! Such a loving group here & we are so grateful to find them ❤️

I am a college student and have a total of 3 dogs all with varying needs and personalities. I travel frequently and often have a volatile schedule. I predominantly use boarding with rotating play times. I recommend this place time and time again. It’s affordable and the staff are passionate. My one girl is defensive and my other is fear reactive.. my last is easier to maintain but requires stricter watch over food & liquid. I drop them off, they are nervous but when I pick them up, they are always well kept and extraordinarily happy and comfortable. The boarding records that they are sent home with are adorable. I always feel heard and confident my dogs are getting the attention and care they need. In addition to happy dogs, the staff are very understanding and flexible. Great environment with postive Staff. Problem solving skills are far beyond what I could ask for. Congrats on a well run boarding facility, they are exceedingly rare!

I love the Pet Palace! Our dog, Winston had a great time staying there while we traveled. His "room" was spacious and he had a comfy bed. He got to have play time in the large indoor area with the staff. When we walked through the facility the one things that stood out to us was that it was very clean! We saw that all the dogs that were there were in clean enclosures and all seemed to be very happy. The staff were friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and concerns. While he was there he got to go to the spa. His grooming service was fantastic. I loved that he came home shiny and clean with his nails done. Over all I cannot say enough nice things about the Pet Palace. We have boarded at other places, but they are our favorite by far. Thank you to all who helped take care of Winston during his stay and making him feel right at home. <3

Last year was our first time using Pet Palace and we had nothing but praise. This year feels different-total opposite. Short and sweet, we make homemade food. We asked before boarding if feeding, refrigeration and schedule could be followed & told no problem. We provided food and written instructions. Well, nearly all food was returned to us. We were told she grazed. We give our dogs dry food but it is not a staple and that was mentioned. So, what did she eat? I am sure the separation and not having normal diet and play created some inconsistency but this feels different. The previous stay she came home with no problems. This time, she is squeamish, lethargic, vomited twice. Last year on pick up day we we were not charged for that day. Similar to hotels, we were only charged per night. This year, we were charged on pick-up day. When we asked, no clear explanation was provided. If it is a check-out time policy, just explain that but ignoring & no explanation leaves a customer in doubt. Our pup (BTW: a small shih tzu) plays by romping. Last year she was excluded from play groups. She plays this way with our 13 year old shih tzu (who stays with grandparents due to age and health issue). She also plays this way with her cousin pups and another pup friend in our neighborhood. She's not dangerously aggressive, just energetic and rough plays by rolling, barking, growling, chasing. We understand a boarding facility not putting her in playgroups for precaution reasons but to give her stimulation we provided treats and an interactive toy. We also paid for 1:1 time. Since our pup babies can't communicate, we trust we get what we paid for. Another doubt is that it looks like she was never given the treats which means she likely did not get to play with her toy. I commend Pet Palace staff honesty by returning the food & treats. It could have all been pitched and we'd never know otherwise but we are now left with unsettling concern. We feel our two experiences are totally different and opposite. Unfortunately, we are not having the same good vibes and are feeling very unsettled about future boarding at Pet Palace.

We had to board Tank, a 220 lb English Mastiff for 10 days while in Pittsburgh for surgery and recovery. It was not an easy thing to do, he’s very spoiled and we have never been away from him for that long. The entire staff were wonderful, took great care of him and pampered him. He was very happy and comfortable 🥰

I felt that the staff at the Pittsburgh Pet Palace truly care about the health and wellbeing of the pets that stay there. My dog, Morty, can be quite a handful and has been turned away from pretty much every other daycare/boarder in the area and so to find a place that would actually work with him and take great care of him was perfect. What I didn't expect was how much the staff went above and beyond for Morty even to the point of taking some cute photos of him that I now have set as my cell phone background photo. Morty tends to be quite hesitant with new people, but the staff at the Pet Palace have always been quite gentle and patient with him to not stress him (or me) out. I'm still quite shocked that Morty actually "likes" going to the Pet Palace. Until the Pet Palace I had never seen him actually go back to someone I handed him off to, but at the Pet Palace he'll literally run back to them and playfully ask for a goodbye belly rub. It is the cutest thing and makes me know for sure that he's being treated extremely well there. For that kind of service there really is no comparison. Pet Palace is the place for me and my pet.

There's no one like Maria from Hustle Puppy! We booked her for several weeks of attention and exercise for our two dogs, and she did an AMAZING job! We started with a meet-and-greet with the pups, where she stopped by, got to know them (and us), and walked us through how everything would work. It was crystal clear from the VERY FIRST MINUTE that she LOVED dogs and would give ours all the attention and care they need! Maria is responsible, communicative, and trustworthy — rare qualities to encounter in services like these. She told us exactly what to expect, stayed in touch when things needed to adjust, and above all did what she said she would do, when she said she'd do it! We especially appreciate how self-sufficient she is with our dogs. She just comes in, takes care of them, and sends us a report (and pictures!) on how they do. We don't even have to be there, because she just takes care of everything (a BIG plus). Bottom line, we strongly recommend Maria and Hustle Puppy as trustworthy, high-quality care for dogs!

Hustle Puppy has showed up for our pets in every way possible. We have a whole “zoo” here and Maria gives each and every pet her absolute best. My fiance and I were both worried about finding someone to care for our pets the way we do. Now (almost 2 years later!) we are not only so glad that we found Maria, we hope to never have to find anyone else again.

Maria is amazing! She was texting me updates throughout the day along with pictures of my pups having the best time. My Golden Retriever has some anxiety issues and Maria went above and beyond to calm him down by playing relaxing music and laying with him on the floor. I will no longer feel anxious about leaving my pups for trips!

Hiring Maria from Hustlepuppy really gave us peace of mind while we were in vacation. We have cats that’s still require being separated and she managed that for us as well as the expected feeding, watering etc. I would use HustlePuppy again and would recommend them to anyone with pet care needs.

We are so lucky that we found Maria! She has been a lifesaver!! Our dog, Daisy, just loves her. Maria is always on time, she’s very honest, and she is extremely trustworthy. Our Daisy is very picky about who she likes; so, we were so relieved to see how quickly she took to Maria. If you are considering calling her, do it! She’s absolutely amazing!!

We have now left our two year old mini doodlemix (in the middle of photo) with Maria twice and have an upcoming booking already set for December. He requires (demands) a lot of attention and stimulus and he absolutely loves his time at Maria's and loves her pup(s). Maria is super responsive and very accommodating to specific asks and needs. The booking process is super quick and thorough. Highly recommend.

My Foxy Doxy has been staying overnight at Joe's for over five years now. He really enjoys going to play with Joe with both the big and small dogs. Joe does a free meet and greet. He is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and inspected two times a year. Joe is so kind and caring and keeps your dog on the same schedule and makes him feel like his home is their home. Joe has a big fenced in backyard for the dogs to play. He also sends pictures throughout the day so we can see our sweet boy. He knows how to administer medications if they are needed. My dog loves taking his vacations at Joe's and I would not leave him anywhere else.

Joe is an amazing Dog-sitter. He is so great with our dog. He is very kind and caring. He sends us pictures throughout the day. He opens up his home to your Dog. My dog enjoys taking his mini vacations with Joe and the other dogs that he takes care of. He has a big fenced in backyard. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else.

Joe is outstanding with our Goldendoodle. My partner and I both work a lot and Joe is incredibly flexible and accommodating. He gives daily picture updates and is fast with text communication. Joe has always been open to our schedule whether early drop offs or switching around pickups. He has been upfront with charges and clear (but easygoing) about payments. I’m attaching a picture—we get something like this from him about midday while she’s at Go-to-Joe. She is ALWAYS well exercised and socialized by the end of the day. We have never had an injury or any adverse experience. Highly recommended!

Joe has been watching our dog, Ted for 8 years now. There is literally no one else we trust with our pup like Joe! He has a phenomenal setup, loves these pups, and takes the best care of them. Ted loves Joe probably more than us at this point and gets the zoomies when we ask if he wants to go to Joe’s house. :)

This is a true dog whisperer. My furbaby always enjoys her stay and comes home completely exhausted. I've used him several times. The pics are always so adorable. My favorite was all the pups enjoying a televised concert. They looked so cozy and chill!

Very friendly and convenient

We’ve been using this camp location to help care for our boxers for just about a year now. This location is always tidy, clean, and welcoming! The girls at the front desk are so kind and always offer helpful suggestions to improve the dogs stay. They’re great at sending reminders for updating vaccines, and they even offer the semi-annual at the location which is awesome if we forgot on our end — they can just do it there! Our boys get super excited for their stays as soon as we pull into the parking lot! We’ve done doggy day care and boarding, and since we have two dogs that stay together we likely to book the suite for them. The cameras allow us to check in on the pups during the day so we can have extra reassurance that they’re happy (they always are!) and well taken care of. We will continue to be campers here for years to come!

This place was great, until my dog got bit by another dog at daycare. The “manager” called us in complete and utter panic mode (not very comforting to hear). This resulted in a $2000 vet bill & we received absolutely no help from camp bow wow. They refused to provide us with an incident report of what happened or the footage of the incident. We received the other dog owners contact information, however we were preparing for the worst if we had to sue the other dog owner. Camp bow wow handled this horribly & had zero sympathy for what happened on their watch. DO NOT RECCOMEND . Choose a doggie daycare where the contract clearly states that the dog owner will be responsible for any damage/injury to another dog, property, or employee, it will save you down the road trust me.

I had a bad experience the only time I used the dogs stop. It's nice to have a company you can trust with your furr babies! We usually use camp bow wow north but Mia was unbearable today and they were booked up. Camp bow wow east took them, it's great that Mia and Milo have access to all camp bow wows. This was our first time using the monroeville one, they were great!

After a friend recently posted about their dog not having the best treatment while there i realized I never shared our issues publicly, only on our own fb pages. Our boxer was attacked the video clearly shown that she was not the aggressor. The owner of the other dog paid our vet bill. But the sad truth is, we were 1300 miles away, our dog was attacked and camp bow wow refused to drive my dog to the vet, our vets office was 3 miles away and the vet offered to rreat her and keep her till we could get home or make other arrangements. Yet camp bow wow refused to assist. So if my dog is attacked and I'm clearly traveling and boarding my dog with you and she is attacked with lacerations on her throat, back of head and ears are tore up they still refused to assist. Sorry but that isnt a good enough service. If my dog got.injured where she is boarding while I'm away you need to take her to the vet, even more so when I'm giving full permission, literally begging for her to be taken onky for them to refuse. I had to find family close enough to assist. We have never taken our dogs back, we have never even received a refund for the rest of the stay or the grooming we paid for.

My pups love being at camp Bow wow east! I never gone into a place and they didn’t go crazy! They were absolute so comfortable with them the first time they were there!

My Billy Ray seemed to take quickly to the environment at Camp Bow Wow. The staff were friendly and made me comfortable leaving my pup there for the day. I like the setup and the staff really seem engaged.

I've been taking my shy, reserved pup here for boarding for a few years. They've worked with her on each visit so that she's more relaxed and she doesn't stress now. They are super attentive and don't hesitate to reach out if anything seems different. They spoil her and now, when we arrive, she whines until they take her to play! When I had a family emergency recently, they were amazing about working with me, with uncertain pickup dates and last minute boarding reservations so she could maintain a routine while everyone else had chaos.

Love this place and so does my dog! I know she’s always in good hands when she’s either boarded there or just hanging out at daycare! The employees there are always so nice too
