Eric my big Newfoundland dog, has never been keen in going to the groomers but as soon as he met Alesha he was in love! She fussed him and made him feel extra special. He wasn’t worried at all. She did such a great job bathing and trimming him he looked like a new dog! We won’t be going anywhere else. Highly recommend her services.

My Cockapoo had a really decent summer trim from Alesha, first cut for her,as she is not quite One years yet! Alesha did a excellent job and my dog was really chilled for her. Alesha is very knowledgable with all different breeds and their unique needs.

Alesha is so professional and friendly, always with a smile, I really appreciate having a helping hand with my two huskies from the car to the salon and back, Kesha and Pearl look and smell beautiful, and loved the videos I got sent of them singing, I love the flower she put on their collar after there groom, Thank you Alesha!!

Keeley has been walking my pug Harvey twice a week for a few months. She is 100% reliable and is always on time or if she is running late due to traffic she will always message to let me know. Harvey loves his walks with Keeley and I know that he is safe and is having a lovely walk. Would definitely recommend.

Keeley was great with Bob when she was taking him for walks between January and May this year, picking him up and dropping him off at my parents address, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely use Keeley again if needed in the future

Keeley is the most wonderful pet sitter! I contacted her last minute to arrange pet care for my two dogs after being asked to attend a festival. She didn't get chance to meet the dogs prior but they were so happy to see her. They must have felt her gentle happy and calming presence and were cared for wonderfully by her. Il be sure to continue to use Keeley going forward. And I'm sure the dogs will be hoping it's sooner rather than later! I must add I got "pupdates" upon each visit and regular reassurance which was hugely appreciated!

Great place for your pets to go whilst you are away. The owner, Meg lives and breaths her charges. We've booked out cat Wellington in for two stays this year and another in Jan 2024. Pre booking visits are actively encouraged so you can have a look round before booking.

Meg looked after our lovely boy for a month whilst we relocated to North Wales. Meg was helpful, caring and kind, fitting in and changing dates as required. Meg's cat hotel is a cattery on another level of cat luxury, so I have no hesitation in saying that this is the best service I have seen for pet boarding. Five star review for a five star service.

Absolutely lovely place took such good care of my fur baby, while me and hubby celebrated our wedding anniversary! High recommend! And my boy loved having his own holiday to make new friends.

A big thank you to The Pet Joint for looking after Pig so well while we were away. He clearly had a fab time watching fish tv, chilling on the chaise longue and watching the birds outside. A lovely touch having photos posted on Facebook (it is if you’re crazy cat people like us 🤣). Great communication and clearly so much care in what they do. Our lively labrador stayed with steve and meg and their canine companions while we got married and went on honeymoon. Not only did they go the extra mile by offering a chaperone service so our boy could be at the wedding they thoroughly looked after him while we were away. The daily updates of photographs of him enjoying his dog holiday put our mind at ease, he was not missing us too much. So much so that it almost looked like he was far more interested in where his canine pals where when we picked him up. I would use and reccomend the pet joint again and again. What can I say? I chose The Pet Joint after asking on FB for recommendations as I wasn't from the area. Originally booked in for a few days, our Puffle ended up staying for three weeks due to a stressful and uncertain house move. I never once felt like an imposition & was continually told by Meg that it didn't matter and Puffle would be welcome to stay as long as necessary. Meg is an absolute credit to petcare and I am in no doubt that she treats all her charges as if they were her own. I wouldn't hesitate to use The Pet Joint again. Thank you so much 🤗

We booked our two cats and dog in for a short break at Pet Joint and were suitably impressed. The care and attention was second to none and the rooms and furnishings were really luxurious. Our little ones enjoyed the experience and arrived back with glowing coats and lots of new friends. Definitely worth considering if you love your pet and want them to enjoy a home away from home! Meg and Steve provide a first-rate, top quality, dog boarding service. Like other dog owners who won’t use kennels, we searched for ages for a suitable alternative for our dog and found it at The Pet Joint. Set in gorgeous North Wales countryside, the dogs have large grounds in which to exercise, sleep in their own, very spacious, rooms and have round-the-clock professional care and attention. Highly recommended.

Meg's a trusting and caring pet mum. She took great care of Roger recently, really efficient arrangements and lovely, kindly approach. Would most def. Reccomend.

Fantastic Kennels, my two girls will go nowhere else. Experienced staff, clean, no ‘dog’ smell, fixed drop off/ collection times allowing the dogs quiet time which a lot of kennels don’t have. They always make every effort to assist with your requirements and have the dogs best interests as their focus. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended. Our puppy is always happy to go for a day care while we are at work. He stayed for 11 nights when we were away and we are so grateful for the care! Big shout out to you all!

Farm box was amazing so much to choose from, they also have ice cream for dogs at a really good price too! The goats and horses there are super friendly and they didn't seam fazed by my dog, there are some lovely beaches if you wish to sit outside and a bonus the actual box it's self it all wheelchair accessible!

After a bad experience at another kennel it was with trepidation leaving our Irish Setter Molly at kennels again. It turns out I had no need to worry. The kennels have been exceptional at how they looked after Molly. Returning phone calls when I left a message to enquire how she was. Making sure she had her medicines and keeping Molly and her bed clean. I returned to a very happy dog. Thank you Dewi and the team for taking such good care of her

Our rescue dog went to these kennels for 8years and when we moved to Worcester we travelled to N. Wales to use them. Dewi was marvellous with her. As she became old and very unwell we had to leave her with loads of medication which was given religiously. We cannot praise them enough and have no hesitation in recommending them. Dewi was very caring always taking notice of her individual needs. She was very happy to go there.

I wouldn't leave my dogs any where else. They know when their going there and get very excited. Dewi does great job. Well looked after. If your dog needs medication he will do this for you. Best kennels we have been to.

My bichon frise Daisy and Ben have spent the last 9 days at Brookhouse kennels. They have been staying here for the past could of years now and I can't praise them enough. I have tried other kennels and have been left feeling guilty for leaving my furbabies as they never settled. Dewi is great with them, they love seeing him and they are more than happy to go into the kennels, they are well looked after, walked twice a day, the kennels are clean and not overcrowded, it is the perfect place for my dogs to stay while we are on holiday. I would recommend Brookhouse kennels to anyone looking for somewhere safe to leave your beloved pets. I can go on holiday knowing my furbabies are in good hands.

My dog Barney is 2 1/2 years old and has been going to Dewi at brookhouse since he was very little ...he is always very happy to see him and doesnt look back from the moment he leaves the car...the negative comments totally took me by surprise! I have NO QUALMS leaving Barney in their care ....they also boarded my previous dog Oscar...same story...he loved going there and they took amazing care of him too...i cannot recommend Brookhouse highly enough and am thankful a place like this exists to look after my pecious dog ...thank u all at brookhouse

I was taken very ill, unexpectedly, and found myself in hospital for a long time, weeks rather than days, IT WAS NO CHOICE, I too was told they have TV,? I doubt the dogs have one each in their ROOMS? , my dogs came home stinking of urine and faeces with dreadlocks full of poo dragging on the floor behind them, though TV is available the dog obviously is forced to live its own mess, we all know our own dogs not a one will deliberately choose to lie down in its own mess, I said they could share a kennel, hoping the dogs would have each other for company and maybe it might reduce the cost a little, more fool me.!!! There was a old lady a pensioner on the same ward as me, she was going demented worrying about her dogs two tiny things you could put in your pocket, bless her, she was calling every day for news on her dogs, BUT like me could never get anyone to answer the dam phone, THIS WAS HOSPITAL WE WERE IN, NOT SUNNING OURSELVES IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE, so we had a hospital bed and dogs in common and we chatted, THIS BROOKHOUSE place was charging her the same price for two tiny pups as I was paying for two German shepherd's, JUST WRONG?!! I did report the state of my dogs to the official body in the council that give out the licences for these places, their reply was they do provide the essential requirements. BROOKHOUSE reply was WE DO NOT PROVIDE GROOMING SERVICES, it seams to me they leave the TV on clean the poo out once a day feed them once a day, I even sent my dogs with their own food they were used to so not to upset their stomach, no reduction in charge for providing your own food either, This kennel has the contract with the council as the go to kennel when people old or otherwise are taken ill who have nobody to help out with their pets, DISGUSTING, I am happy to be able to put this feedback on here, as nobody cared a few years ago, if they have changed hands or improved since all I can say is NOT BEFORE TIME, what made them think it was OK to take £200 every ten days off a pensioner in hospital who needed two yorkie puppies taking care of, or to leave my shepherd's to lie in their own dirt and urine

I've never seen our dogs so excited to go in. They are so well looked after whilst they are there.

My Mother's dog, Teddy, had never stayed in kennels before & we were so concerned he would pine for Mummy! Quite the reverse! From the moment Teddy & we met the completely delightful Eirlys & Gwynfor, we all knew he was in safe hands! In fact after they had dropped Teddy back to us, he lay by the door & cried! He absolutely had the best time at Celyn!

Me and my dogs love this place and the people. They are all so helpful and friendly . Each kennel is big and airy, with access to outside and heated for winter stays. All feeding instructions and preferences are followed, my girls always look beautiful and as though they have enjoyed their stay, no matter how long. 5 star plus, from me Willow and Tilly. X

Been bringing my French Bulldog here for years and wouldn’t take him anywhere else. Attention to him is impeccable and he is always healthy and happy when he comes home. Highly recommended ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Celyn Kennels are absolutely the best in North Wales. The staff are qualified, caring and friendly and it is the only Kennels we have found in North Wales where every dog has both an inside and outside kennel as well as large play areas where, if wished the dogs can play with other dogs. It is also in a beautiful and peaceful area which every dog will love.

A home away from home. I have to work away a lot, and I've tried many other kennels. Celyn are the first that my dogs LOVE. They treat them as a part of the family, and I will be forever grateful.

Not entirely impressed. The prices on the website are misleading. The owner charges per calendar day, not per 24h. This means that an overnight stay for one dog is £26. Our dog stayed less than 24 hours and we were charged for two days, because it was an overnight. Moreover, the gravel yard that the dogs hang about in is not nice - perhaps their personal outside space should include grass?

Elin stayed for a week in June. The dogs are well looked after and safe. Staff were all lovely. Highly recommended.

We’ve used Ailsa’s Creature Comforts service for quite a number of years and have been so happy with the care provided. Both our last boxer dog, Alf, and our latest boy, Percy have loved their little holidays with Creature Comforts which, in turn, makes our holidays more relaxing knowing we don’t need to worry about them. Highly recommend!

We have used the services of Ailsa at Creature Comforts on several occasions short and long stays for our two dogs and they are so happy. We were so overjoyed to find this wonderful home boarding business as we had found it difficult to find anywhere apart from kennels which our boys hate. Alisa is so kind, caring, accommodating and calm and looks after our boys as if they were her own! What more could you want for your beloved pets, we wouldn’t use anyone else, Creature comforts gives you peace of mind knowing they will be well cared for allowing you to relax while your away. We always return to happy healthy dogs which to us is priceless.

Ailsa and Andy have provided first class care for our 2 spaniels and a crazy terrier! We go away regularly and sometimes for fairly long periods, and our pups are always well looked after and happy - little terrier LOVES being with the other residents! This is a Godsend for anyone looking for the personal touch for their precious dogs.

When we first moved to Wales I was worried that we wont find a 'kennel-free' option for our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rocky, when we have to visit family in South Africa. But finding Creature Comforts came as such a relief! Ailsa has now looked after Rocky twice - both short and long stay and I would use her again and again. She has a lovely friendly demeanor which immediately puts any pet at ease. Rocky loved his stay with her as she treated him like he was part of the family - the same way we treat him at home. He was taken on numerous walks and was allowed to roam free,in the same way we do on our walks at home. I am very very happy with Ailsa's service as she takes the time to get to know each dog individually and cares for their personal individual needs as a result. This is great, as no dog is the same. We were away from our beloved Rocky for 4 weeks and I did not worry once as I knew he was in the best hands possible. Will recommend Creature Comforts any day! Definitely using their service again.

I will only use Creature Comforts to board my dog. It means that I can go away without any worries, assured that she is being properly cared for. Ailsa has also always been very flexible with both short and long stays which has helped me organise anything from a weekend away to a 3 week break. Highly recommended and much better value than kennels.

I have used creature comforts a couple of times now and have My Dog Tess booked in again in October. I would recommend ailsa I have no worries leaving Tess with her I know she is being well looked after Tess wasn’t sure the first time she went but was happy when I picked her up Second time she went she Was happy to see ailsa and just jumped straight into her car as if to say bye mum I’m off lol.i would recommend ailsa without hesitation and Tess as found her Second home i wouldn’t send her anywhere else thank you so much ailsa for looking after my baby.😊

We have used creature comforts now for around 7 years and I will not go anywhere else . From the moment you meet Ailsa and her family then you know your dogs are in good hands and you can then enjoy your break or holiday without a care . My 2 dogs actually cant wait to get out of the car when we arrive as they love being there . I genuinely feel as the dogs feel it's a home from home and the value of that is immeasurable

You know when you can tell you've found someone special, that's how I feel about Donna and Julie at Canine and Co! 🥰 I searched for ages for a boarders for my two 4-legged babies. At 7 and 4 years old they had never been to a boarder before. However after some tough life events, I was ready for a special holiday with my nearest and dearest. I was very fussy when looking for a boarder because my dogs are so special to me, they are family and I wanted them to be looked after just like they are at home. Donna could not have been more helpful right from the start of the process. She replied quickly, got in touch to check how trial nights / stays had gone and genuinely cared about us. She is amazing! 🫶🫶🫶 My dogs stayed 7 nights with Julie and from the moment we were put in touch, I had good feeling things might work out. Julie was just like Donna - quick to respond and suggested a meet up which I was happy about. Meeting Julie, I was very happy, I found a like minded soul who is besotted with dogs like me. Julie suggested a trial afternoon followed by a trail night. Both went well despite my 7 year old being a timid girl and never staying anywhere before, Julie was patient with her and made her comfortable 💕 We did another trial night before the 7 night stay and that really helped my girl. Julie you are an angel and I'm so grateful to you for all the love and care you gave my dogs ❤️❤️ Thank you Donna and thank you Julie, keep doing what you're doing, thanks to you both I had a much needed holiday and was happy in the knowledge my babies were in safe hands 💞💞💞

Our dogs stayed again with Donna and paul (3rd time) doggy day care while we had a couple of days zip wiring, Elvis, Percy,Louie have the best time and even had percy (the only doggy that would rather sleep all day on sofa) running and even jumping over fences. This is the best doggy care we have found and would just come to North wales so they could stay there again, I've told all my friends about them and if I could we would double the 5 * , Elvis and percy and louie send lots of woofs

Jac our Labrador has just been to stay with Claire and her little bundle of fun Max. This holiday was the longest Jac has been away from us, a whole 10 days!! We had the greatest time which I must admit was helped by the little photos and videos of Jac living his best life, we could see he was having so much fun and made a real friend in Max. Claire treated Jac to some brilliant adventures with a variety of different walks and allowing him to mix with other dogs. He even went to a birthday party of 2 of his new friends whilst on his holidays. Claire made a real effort to get to know Jac and treated him with equally as much love and care as she does her own dog Max and embraced their new found friendship and gave him the best holiday. The amazing photos we received of Jacs holiday will form part of our holiday photo album as Jac clearly had an amazing holiday too. Thank you Donna and especially Claire and Max. X

We have just been away in Cyprus for 10 days,we have a very nervous and needy cockapoo puppy who we know would never cope being put in kennels,we have just had the most fabulous lovely lady called shelagh look after him for 10 days in her home,we were put in touch with shelagh through another amazing lady called donna who runs canine & co home boarding,without the absolute care and kindness and having the time and passion shelagh put into looking after bailey our puppy it is extremely unlikely we would of been able to go away on holiday,we have already booked him in with mommy shelagh for next year😊,so a massive thank you shelagh and donna❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely great service from canine & co this week, especially as I contacted them so last minute to try to find boarding for a few hours on a Saturday. Shelagh who looked after our dog was so lovely and he had a lovely time at her house.

Farm and pet place was just fantastic from the moment we walked in the door. Being on holiday and lots of beach trips our little dog needed a wash, the staff was lovely and so helpful. I take my little Jackapoo here once a month and use the self service dog wash booth which is absolutely brilliant! £10 for a shampoo, conditioner and blow dry. It’s really simple to use and great for any size dog. The staff are really helpful and friendly too.
