We have been sending our 2 year-old pup to Healthy Hounds for a few months now and we couldn't be happier. Rachel is a true dog lover and it shows in her connection and dedication to the dogs in her care. Hopper has made many new friends and looks forward to seeing Rachel and the other dogs. We quickly became comfortable with the care to the point where we have also used Rachel frequently for boarding and we know that Hopper is always in good hands.

Would highly recommend Healthy Hounds, Rachel is terrific with the dogs and of course my dog Beans! He can’t wait to get there every morning and see his buddies. He loves it!! Rachel has been especially accommodating to my special needs. Can’t say enough, if you have a dog don’t hesitate to enroll him/her with Healthy Hounds!

We started going to Healthy Hounds a few months ago. Within 2 visits it has become the highlight of our pup Cleo's day, she cannot get in the car fast enough in the morning. We send her almost 5 days a week and every day she comes home happy and exhausted. Rachel is extremely considerate of making sure the right dogs spend time together and is always responsive to a text. Throughout the day Rachel sends us photos of Cleo and her "cousins" having a ball together and we love to see them! We would absolutely recommend Healthy Hounds to anyone with a puppy who needs socialization or even just for any dog to get some (intense) exercise.

For anyone reading this review that is considering using Healthy Hounds, let me be the boarding-skeptic to sway you to do it. I was the person that couldn't bear the thought of my pup being boarded. Rachel at Healthy Hounds is not a typical boarder. She LOVES dogs and its evident that dogs love her. My Lucy latched onto Rachel instantly; the trust and excitement to see Rachel made my decision easy to leave my dog in Rachel’s care. Lucy’s ears perk and her tail goes nuts when I mention Rachel’s name. I want to emphasize that Rachel is not a typical boarder! Not only did her care plan leave me at ease, she also learned that Lucy was having problems socializing with other dogs. My dog was bristling at passing dogs, would be uneasy going nose to nose and I had thought it was just “how she is”. Rachel worked with Lucy and helped me to address root causes and now Lucy is friendly and playful with almost every dog she meets! Rachel accommodated my dog for an extended trip that I had planned. Before the trip Rachel was THOROUGH in her preparations. She wanted to get to know my dog beforehand and learn all about my dog's personality; the phobias, the social behavior, the commands, she wanted to know it all. We worked out a coverage plan and walking schedule that had me feeling ready for a vacation. My Lucy got walked AT LEAST three times a day for FIVE MILES. Throughout the trip she provided consistent updates and photos; I did not have to ask her for updates once, Rachel enjoyed sharing them. TLDR: - Rachel CARES DEEPLY about dogs, and its evident that dogs LOVE HER BACK! - Rachel helped me CHANGE UNDESIRABLE BEHAVIORS in my Dog - THOROUGH THOROUGH THOROUGH: she thought of things that wouldn't have crossed my mind in preparation for the trip. - My dog got exceptional attention; walked three times a day for FIVE MILES! - My Lucy LOVES Rachel and PULLS ME TO HER when we are out and about walking and Lucy sees her.

My dog Beau has been going to Healthy Hounds for over a year now and loves it! Rachel does such a great job not only loving and caring for the dogs, but also ensuring the safety and compatibility of them within their playgroups. Hosting multiple playgroups, she makes sure that dogs play well and equally together. And while I’m a little offended at how happy Beau is to go to playgroup and reluctant to come home, I am so happy to have found a place where he can play his little heart out and come home to sleep the rest of the day.

My dog has been going to Healthy Hounds for a few months now and has greatly benefited from her time here! Rachel treats the dogs like her own and makes sure to keep communications with us while my dog is there so we know she is happy, safe, and having fun. I highly recommend Healthy Hounds, especially for dogs who are in need of extra activity and socialization! Thank you Rachel!

The owner of Healthy Hounds, Rachel, absolutely loves dogs and it shows through the individualized care and attention she gives to each of her client pups, as well as their owners! She treats my pup like he is a member of her own family, and beyond that, has helped me by making training recommendations based on her observations and interactions with my dog. Rachel has a thorough understanding of the dog care and training scene on the North Shore and is happy to share her knowledge and experience with her clients, which I have greatly appreciated. Rachel is hands on and personally involved in the facilitation of playgroups to ensure a safe and rewarding experience for all of the pups in her care. Their safety is her first priority, and its so nice to be able to leave my dog at playgroup confident that he is safe, well looked after and also having a blast! Rachel is forthright and transparent about the practices at Healthy Hounds and was happy to show me inside her awesome facility when I inquired about joining. She also offers a pick up and drop off service, which makes sorting the logistics of my day much easier and ensures that my pup gets out for play. I cannot recommend Healthy Hounds strongly enough. They are undoubtedly among the best in the business.

Healthy Hounds is absolutely amazing! I reached out to Rachel after having a horrible experience at another doggy daycare in Salem. She immediately made me feel at ease with bringing our new puppy to her. She truly cares about you and your dog. Rachel took the time to get to know us and our puppy before bringing her in. Before her first day with other dogs, our puppy was allowed to meet Rachel and see the space. This was helpful for us as well as our puppy. We love how clean Healthy Hounds is and how cautious Rachel is of the dogs that are grouped together. We also appreciate her policies regarding the health of the dogs that come in. We always know when our puppy is there that she is with other dogs who are healthy. It's apparent our puppy loves Healthy Hounds too, she jumps out of the car to Rachel and comes home exhausted! Thank you Rachel for such a happy place for our puppy.

I started my dog at Healthy Hounds a few months ago. I was looking for daycare and boarding options. After much research, I decided to contact Healthy Hounds in hopes there was an opening. An onsite visit was required and we passed the test! To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the outdoor space but improvements are on the way and my dog absolutely loves the time she spends at Healthy Hounds twice a week! Rachel cares so deeply about the safety of the dogs under her care and goes out of the way to maintain a safe environment. My dog boarded with Rachel over thanksgiving and both had a great visit with each other. If fact Rachel can’t wait for my next trip so she can have my dog stay with her! The dogs are so well cared for, as if they were her own. Don’t hesitate choosing Healthy Hounds!

We recently boarded our dog Willa with the owner Rachel while we were on vacation and I HIGHLY recommend her for your boarding/daycare needs. I am a nervous wreck with our dog (Willa). She’s a very sensitive & anxious rescue pup and I have only trusted family members to watch her previously. Rachel was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and went out of her way before our trip to spend time with Willa, take her for walks, and understand her individual needs so Willa was comfortable when we were away. During our trip, Rachel was communicative and always sending us photos/updates on how she was doing. I am so thankful to have found her!

We can't express how happy we are with Tina's TLC Pet Sitting Service! Tina clearly loves animals and is very reliable. She took excellent care of our two kitties and was very detail oriented. She was on- time and provided detailed updates. We were very anxious about trying a new pet sitter and Tina's professionalism, caring and reliability made for a stress free time away from our babies. We highly recommend her!

Tina took care of our corgi for 6 days, what we liked most about her excellent service is that every day she sent photos to update us on how our dog was doing, she is always available which is good, we will continue to choose her excellent service.

Tina has been caring for our two dogs, Scruffy and Jordie for quite sometime. She loves them and they love her. She treats them as if they are her own. We can always count on Tina to look after our two dogs and would highly recommend her if you are in need of her services.

Like any dog owner, I am a bit of an obsessive dog mama. When my Louie is at Tinas, I feel completely at ease that he is getting just as much love as he does when he is at home! It makes it a little easier to leave my baby when my husband and are away. Tina always follows Up with daily updates on how he is doing and lots of pictures to put my mind at ease! I have used Tina's pet services several times to care for my cats when I was away, She goes above and beyond, She left notes of what the cats did each day, brought toys for them to play with while she was there. She doesn't just feed and empty litter box, she actually spends time with them. She is the best.

Tina's done a wonderful job, she's taken great care of our cats (who need medication and have some other quirks around eating habits) multiple times now. Highly recommend!

There is no pet sitter that I trust more with our precious cats than Meaghan! She goes far above and beyond attending to their basic needs, and gets to know their individual personalities and quirks. I really felt as though our cats had a true friend in her, which gave me peace of mind while we were away. Janelle is an absolute treasure! Easy scheduling, great communication and the best possible care for our Albus we could ask for! We have a special needs dog Albus and Janelle integrates with his care seamlessly and without us having any doubts that he is in the best hands when we are away from home. While we are away, we get updates and we are confident he's getting the best care possible. It would not be possible for us to travel unless Cat-Nip-and-Cookies was there for us! Thank you!

The biggest compliment I can give is that Janelle gives you peace of mind. Anyone who knows me knows that this is huge. A few months ago, we went away for two nights for the first time since the pandemic began, and when we returned, our cat Gilbert showed signs of having had a major anxiety issue with us being gone. Our pets are our children, so we knew we had to do something before we tried to go away again. We found Janelle and scheduled a meeting and found her to be professional, caring, thorough, and assuring. She gave off a calming vibe of "I've got this. Your pets are safe with me. Go and have a good time." She took careful notes about what needed to be done while we were gone (Gilbert is diabetic), and asked questions to be sure she got everything right. While we were gone, she checked in with us to let us know the cats were well, and it really took a big burden off of our shoulders and allowed us to enjoy our hard-earned vacation. We fully recommend her, and think she is a big step up from other pet sitters out there with her medical expertise and thoroughness. We will not hesitate to use her again and wish we could give her even more stars than 5. Thank you Janelle!

We have used Janelle’s dog walking services for our dog, Charlotte. She is wonderful and we always give her business info out to people looking for dog services! Janelle is an extremely reliable and prompt person. She always let us know how our dog’s walk went and we felt very safe letting her in our home.

Highly recommend. We've been clients of Janelle since the Christmas Holidays when we started traveling again, and we've been so incredibly happy with her services. We trust her and we know our boys are in good hands. She's extremely reliable and flexible, she provides updates on how the boys are doing, and she's accommodating when it comes to coordinating key pick ups. Her first visit is a walk through of the house and what she needs to take care of, and getting to know your pets. You can tell she really care about animals. We will definitely be long term clients of hers!

I have been working with Janelle for several years. She's been excellent! I had a senior dog that was in need of more care than just pet sitting. She required daily fluids because of kidney disease, which was more than most pet sitters had experience to provide. Janelle was professional, experienced and reliable. Since my girl has passed we've added to our pack. She's great with all my dogs and we trust her in our home and to care for our pets. We love working with her! Our dogs love her too!

My two dogs have been attending Dogville several days a week for a year now. I can't speak highly enough of Claudia and the way she operates the daycare and looks after the dogs in her care. I have a 13 year old Cocker Spaniel of whom I am extremely protective. To say that I would trust no one other than Claudia with him is an understatement. I would not even consider trying. But more so than that, both of my boys enjoy going everyday (as is evidenced by the way they prance into her establishment) and are exhausted when they arrive home. Money well spent and 8+ hours a day that I don't stress or worry about them.

Claudia is a very caring daycare owner. It's incredible that my skittish dog actually looks forward to going to this daycare.

I planned a spontaneous weekend with my wife to go to Vermont for the weekend and had difficulty finding dog sitting services at an affordable rate. We contacted Ocean view kennels not only were they affordable, but they were incredibly convenient with pick up and drop off . Our lovable dog had an amazing weekend and looked very healthy very happy and very well taken care of. I highly recommend their services and I will continue to use them in the future. Lisa, Jay, and the crew have been phenomenal. They have always been friendly, reliable, accommodating, and most importantly they care for our furkids like they were their furkids. My 2 baby bostons went there for 2 years straight every day while we worked. After one of my bostons had to have emergency eye surgery, they took care of her during the day while I worked and I never had to worry. Gave her medicine, extra attention and loved on her when we couldn't. We ended up moving and had some family changes that meant we no longer needed daycare during the daytime. But whenever, we go on vacation, or want to give the pups a special treat, we bring them back for a few days stay. The dogs have a blast there. The staff are always making sure the dogs are having fun. Pools, special treats, slides, you name it they have it. My dogs always come back tired and happy. The cams and regular photos are just icing on the cake. I would trust these furkids of mine to no one else. And even though the drive is quite far now, we'd rather go the distance to make sure they're well-taken care of. 🐸🐼 Oh, and they're prices are very reasonable.

The City of Revere and surrounding communities should feel lucky to have Lisa and her staff! They are wonderful and take care of so many animals. I won't bring my dogs anywhere else.

We have been with Companion Synergy for a couple of years now and couldn't be happier. We started using their playgroup services after our husky got attacked by an uncontrolled dog at the local dog park. At Companion Synergy, I have peace of mind now knowing my dog can play with other dogs in a supervised and safe environment where she is grouped together with dogs of the same temperament. In addition to the weekly playgroup, we have also used their dog walking, overnight, and nutrition consultation services and have been 100% satisfied with everything. Not only are Liz and Christian trained professionals who know what they are doing, you can also tell that they deeply care about every creature in their care as if it were their own family member. We are truly happy and grateful they have become part of our and our dog's life.

Liz and her team are very reliable and do an amazing job caring for our two bunnies when we go away with house visits. They really go above and beyond, and will even water plants if needed and leave a journal each day of what happened with the bunnies which is so fun to read. I would highly recommend Companion Synergy!

This facility does not accept any pits - even if it’s a pit mixed with another breed. They are missing out on a lot of good dogs

Katherine is an excellent, professional, pet loving person. I had never had to leave my dogs alone so I was very nervous about leaving. Katherine checked on my dogs extra than I requested and she even had the guts to walk them together which is not easy!! We appreciate her love of animals and her professionalism. Excellent service! Great people! very experienced. My Tank (boxer) had some issues with other dogs and strange people. But since PPS has been walking him and working with him I have seen a huge improvement with his manners towards other dogs. Thank you very much!

I had these people checking on my cats for a long time until I noticed medications missing from my house. I thought things were settled until Katherine showed up at my doorstep and returned my Keys for no reason. The "reasons" were all Katherine's issues - which now she was ready to mention but not settle. Very passive aggressive- I offered the names of several therapists. If you deal with her - good luck. She doesn't work out her issues - just blames you. Leaves you high and dry. Very jeckyl and Hyde....I never saw it coming.

PPS has been walking my two full of energy labs for almost 5 years now and they employ the most compassionate people. They notice the little things, despite not being with the dog everyday. They care for them as if to replace you. Their service is one we could not live without.
