I really enjoy bringing my dog here for the private boarding suite. He was attended to and well taken care of. I appreciate the daily report cards and pictures of my dog. Gives me such a relief and happy feeling to know and see pictures of my little fur baby doing well with the committed staff members. I definitely recommend this place and will bringing my dog back when we go on our next vacation.

People are friendly and professional. Our dog Anthony seems to really enjoy being there with his friends both doggy and human. The employees seem to enjoy their job and I believe that is why Anthony enjoys visiting.

First time here and it was a pleasant experience for my dog Kiki. She was here for 4th of July weekend and she enjoyed her time here. I got the solo dog sleepover and she enjoyed it all. Loved and taken cared by the staff, I was sent a report card every day along with lovely pictures to know how she was doing and and her progress. Excellent coming here. Love it. And 24 hr care too.

24 Hour dog daycare, was the best, It was my puppy first time there and he had such a blast playing with all the dogs, we got a report card during his visit and lots of photos, along with a very detailed description of how his day was going! I would definitely recommend! also a huge plus that they are 24 hour!

When we got our Maltese back, he was smelling so good. He was calm and relaxed. We believe that he was pampered and spoiled well during the 6 hours of TLC. The daycare is so convenient for us since we could drop off and pick up our pet at anytime. I don’t see another daycare who could be so flexible like that. We will definitely come back! 100%. We went to have a thanksgiving dinner with my family and then went to the outlet for some shopping. It was so worry free. Thank you 24 hour dog daycare for all the care you gave to our precious one.

This was our first time at 24 hour dog day care. They are accommodating and flexible with their hours and our doggie seemed happy with her time there. We loved her “report card” and the great pictures they sent us with her new friends.

I've only used them 2 times so far but their prices are fair and I really like how easy it is to schedule a daycare session online, and convenient drop off and pickup times, any time of the day. I often have to travel up the 15 freeway for trips to Riverside County, so I can swing by as late as needed with no issues. Like others have said, the smell of ammonia from dog urine as soon as I opened the front door almost made me gag. It was so strong it took my breath away. Have they gone nose blind or something? I asked the girl behind the desk why it smelled so strong like ammonia, and she said it always smells like that and alot of clients think it smells good. I was perplexed by this answer, and so I asked another girl who came out to front desk area, and she said they have strict cleaning protocols and they clean multiple times a day. This is the first time I've ever used a doggy daycare or boarding facility, so I wondered if they all smell like this? My dog came from the shelter, and the shelter didnt even smell this bad, so that's saying something about how strong the urine smell is here. I didn't have time to find another alternative, so I had to leave her and hit the road. When I picked her up that evening, she smelled fresh like she had a bath. I even went back inside and asked them if she had a bath but they said no. Very odd. A week later I had to drop her off again because I would be picking her up late, but this time the urine smell was even worse. I called to check in 3 times during her stay, and each time I got the voicemail - I left a message and I didnt receive a call back for several hours - pretty unacceptable. When I picked her up, she had that same fresh scent, but with the lingering odor of ammonia in her coat. When we got home I couldn't take it, and I had to give her a towel bath. Another thing that I found strange about this place is they don't allow you to tour it and they don't allow a live video feed. What are they hiding? I asked why no cameras and they said that they allow all breeds. Do they not want someone freaking out because they see a pitbull on camera? That sounds like a ridiculous answer. Why don't you just say it's to cover your butt from liability issues - at least that's honest. Combine that with the pungent urine ammonia smell, the fact you cant tour the facility or see the conditions in which your dog is staying while they are not with you, and its just too many red flags for me. I'm going to try some other day care places. I'm kind bummed because otherwise I really like the convenience of the hours and everything else about the place. I don't know if there's decomposing urine trapped in the walls or under the flooring, but they really need to find the source, cut it out and remove it, and then waterproof it so urine cant soak through and get trapped to decompose like this again. It can't be healthy for the respiratory system of the people that work there, let alone for the dogs! RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE: I checked my phone logs and it jogged my memory - I did receive a response to my voicemail, therefore I updated my review and clarified a few things. 1, 2 or even 3 hour delay in a return call is ok - taking that many hours tells me you were over booked or under staffed. According to reviews, the smell issue has been going on for several years, and you give the same answer to everyone who comments on it - I guess you're in no hurry to solve it. I have since used another doggy daycare, and can confirm this smell is not normal. Remote access live feeds with multiple high resolution cameras cost about $5000 max and shouldn't raise your costs if you host it on your own server. For transparency, you should consider one and it would negate the need for facility tours. A recorded virtual tour is pointless because the things people want to see are not shown, such as how truly clean it is, how many dogs are there on any given day, staff-per-dog ratio, etc. This would be solved with a live feed camera.

I'll cut right to the chase before the longer review. We all love our dogs. We're protective of them. When we can't be the ones to care for them, we need someone who we can trust. That's not easy! Trust is definitely earned when it comes to the lives of our pups. This place is 100% my go to, trusted dog day care in San Diego. Fair pricing, great package options, and most importantly, Coral LOVES going here. She always walks out exhausted but happy and gets excited to walk back in for her next stay. I recently moved to San Diego and have to travel for work occasionally and needed a dog day care/sitter. I was fortunate to find 24 Hour Dog Daycare! Coral is a 1.5 year old pup with ALL the energy and loves socialization from humans and other dogs. She has such a good time here and gets really excited to walk into the building (a good sign that she genuinely enjoys her time there). They have at least one person on watch at all times to ensure no puppy fights break out and ensure the pups are well taken care of. I love the Report Card feature they use in which they send you a daily update on 1) how the pup is doing, 2) how they are interacting with the other dogs and humans, 3) if they've eaten, drank, and gone potty, and 4) PICTURES! I love the pictures. You have the option to do a social stay or private stay. Coral is really well socialized and thrives in a pack so I've always opted for social where she gets to play with other pups all day. You can also leave your pup with their food or choose to use the daycare provided food at a small cost per meal. I love how tired Coral always comes home. She obviously loves it and I love it for her. For as long as I am in San Diego, this is the only place Coral is going!

The staff is awesome. I take my golden doodle Bella To the doggy day care off Miramar road. Bella is not much of a people dog, Fact she could pretty much do without most people but she loves dogs. The staff has been so patient with her that she has warmed up to each and every one of them. When I drop her off in the morning she jumps out of the truck walks in greets them and can't wait to go back and play. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone whether it's for the day or their overnight doggy slumber parties. They take great care of your pooch as if it was their own.

Waggy Tails Pet Care is a great sitter, she did an amazing job taking care of my dog Ernie. I’ve used her several times now and she always does a great job. She keeps me up to date and even sends photos of my pup. I definitely recommend her to everyone and will book with her again whenever I need it. THANKS A LOT!

Roseanne looked in on my cat every day for over a week to ensure he was safe, had his meds, and was doing well after an operation. She sent updates each day whilst I was overseas so I could not only read about how he was, but also see a picture of him. I felt very safe in entrusting her with my pet and my house in my absence.

George was excellent with our dog Sebastian. We received videos and photos every day, and knew our dog was in good hands. While we were away, we would have normally been worried about our dog, as he is old and has a heart condition. However, we were confident with Waggy Tails Pet Care, and knew that our pet was receiving the best treatment while we were away.

Roxanne really cares about the dogs she watches. Our dog gets so excited as we approach Roxanne’s home, so we know she enjoys her visits. She is very accommodating with last minute requests, which we seem to have frequently. Our dog loves playing with her dog as well.

Binky loved her day at waggy Tails pet care. It is obvious that Roseanne loves dogs. She makes them comfortable and at ease and they seem very happy. She even got Binky trained in basic obedience training which was amazing. The best part is that she only takes a few dogs so they get individual care. I would have no hesitation in recommending her and using as my regular sitter!

Highly recommend Waggy Tails! I’ve been taking my pup to Roseanne for almost 3 years and never had a problem. Price is reasonable, and my dog is very fond of Roseanne. My dog is anxious and doesn’t warm up easily but Roseanne is really good at caring for pets so my dog warmed up quickly. She also sends pictures to keep me updated on how my pup is doing, without me asking. I will continue going to Roseanne for doggy day cares for years to come!

If I could give Waggy Tails pet care beyond Five Stars I would. Roseanne is amazing!! She is gentle, kind, and loving person. We spent the Holidays with Family and had to leave our boys with her. Rose is an amazing animal caretaker! She has years of experience and it shows. Rose is very professional, honest and full of love for all the animals. Rose not only was able to look after my pets on a super short notice (which made my unexpected trip out of town so much easier) she also went above and beyond to make sure they stayed on their routine. I recently had Roseanne watch my dog at her house for a couple days. She took great care of my dog. I appreciated the regular updates, which made me feel better about being away. She was also very flexible with scheduling the dropoff and pickup. Roseanne seems like a very caring and attentive person with pets.

We came to San Diego 3 1/2 years ago with our lab rescue named Nike. Nike is a very sweet, loving and loyal boy, but clearly he had a rough beginning and to this day is still very shy and afraid of people. I found Divine Pet Care on the Internet and really loved all the testimonials, so we decided to give Karen a try and a very special bond was born. Karen was amazing with Nike and Nike warmed up to her very quickly. As soon as you meet Karen you know she's a warm, generous and very caring person. Although we didn't see her much, she became a very important member of the family. I can't imagine trusting Nike with anyone else. I highly, highly recommend Divine Pet Care!! You won't be disappointed.

I cannot thank Precious Petcare and my Wedding Pet Attendants (Hilary & Tory) enough!!! First of all, Leila and her staff were very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and they ensured that my 2 fur kids would get the best care possible for my big day. When the big day came, I felt SO comfortable with Hilary & Tory’s capabilities as ‘temporary’ dog mommas for my special day. It took such a HUGE burden and relief off of my shoulders, knowing that they were in such good hands. They were both able to keep my pups calm and happy, even with Scooter’s terrible separation anxiety! They also followed my detailed instructions to a TEE, and walked our ‘Ring Bearer’ and ‘Flower Pup’ down the aisle with no issues! They did an amazing job getting their energy out by constantly walking them around, letting them enjoy nature (they even saw a deer), playing with them, and keeping them well treated and extra cozy (Scooter was warm and wrapped in a blankie when he got chilly!). They truly watched them like hawks, snuggled them, and treated them like their own. When I saw them both with the pups (and heard nothing but amazing comments from my guests!), I knew that they were in amazing hands and I could be calm, relax, and really enjoy myself. They were also a great influence on my young pup, Millie, and her shyness around other people! We noticed such a huge improvement in Millie the day after the wedding! She was like a whole new dog. She’s so much less skittish after having the opportunity to meet with so many guests. I thank Hilary & Tory for giving her that opportunity, as it was much needed for a young rescue dog! They were stellar at their jobs —- they were punctual, kind, calm, professional, organized and dedicated. I also can’t thank them enough for the amazing photos that they sent. They are my absolute favorite photos for sure, and I’m so glad that they captured those moments for me (as the bride misses all the fun! Lol). I highly recommend Precious Petcare!!! 5 stars

We had Hannah with us for our wedding weekend and she exceeded all of our expectations caring for our maltipoo Bear! She continuously went above and beyond to make sure Bear was well fed rested and at the places she needed to be all weekend to be part of our celebrations. I was over the moon knowing Bear was in great hands for 4 days with Hannah until we came back to our hotel every day. Bear was able to join every event we hosted for our guests and I couldn’t be happier! Hannah even helped us every time photos were taken to make sure Bear was smiling & she helped coach Bear to walk down the aisle. Highly highly recommend precious pet care for your wedding or every day sitting needs!!! I wish they were closer to us in Los Angeles so we could use them on the regular :(

My husband and I just returned fron 6 weeks overseas. This is the first time leaving our 14 year old Calico Trixie using a pet service to visit. Our kids work and wanted someone to be with her during the week. We chose Precious Pet Care from Yelp reviews!! Not disappointed! Janna was our sitter the whole time away. She came 3 times a week. She shared pictures, communication/update and videos of how Trixie was doing. She respected our request to change Trix's ice water (spoiled kitty). Plated with her, gave her special treat! Brushed her. Cleaned her litter box. So much more. She treated her as I would have!! 🙂 Trixie was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and has specialized diet. From the start everyone Leila who helped me through the process made me feel secure and warm to their services.

I've used Precious Petcare the past few months for Doggie Daycare for my pup Cash. He always comes back happy and exhausted. This past week we were out of the country for our wedding and I felt at ease every time I received a daily update and pictures showing that he was well taken care of and enjoying himself with the other pups. Thank you Leila and the team for taking good care of my baby. We are so happy to have found this place for daycare and boarding.

We have taken our active dog, Anda, to Precious Pet Care for daycare, overnight stays, and boarding for the past few months. This is the first time that Anda has been to daycare and it is safe to say he loves its! Anda gets to play outside with all the dogs and gets lots of attention from the staff at Precious Pet Care. There is a good variety of dogs, and our dog has befriended the owner's dog. Whenever he comes home he looks very happy and is tired the rest of the day from all the play time. The staff are mindful to make sure he eats his meals and uses the bathroom regularly. They appropriately supervise to ensure he gets along with the other dogs. They also are very flexible with drop off/pick up times and communicative with us, sending daily updates with photos and videos. Most recently, he spent the holidays boarding at Precious Pet Care during our vacation. He definitely got a lot of attention, as there was a doggy holiday party with special treats, a Christmas photo shoot, and he came back with a gift bag and report card for his stay. We would absolutely recommend Precious Pet Care to anyone looking for a homey place for their dog to stay for any of the services they offer.

We booked Precious Pet Care for their wedding pet attendant service, and I highly recommend them!! We wanted to have our dog walk in the ceremony and have someone look after him at the Airbnb during the reception, but didn’t want to have any of our friends/family do it and miss out on the celebration. Precious Pet Care was the perfect solution! With everything that goes on during your wedding day, it was great to know that our dog was cared for and happy! Now I’ll be honest, our dog is not the best trained and can be very excitable, but Johnny did a fantastic job getting his energy out beforehand and keeping him entertained all day so he was comfortable when it came time for the ceremony! We got so many cute pictures with our pup too! It meant so much to have our dog with us on our big day and know he was safe and happy while we celebrated the night away! If that sounds like something you’d also want for your wedding, Precious Pet Care is the way to go!

Precious Pet Care was great in assisting us with the care of our pets Emma and Gracie on 4.02.23 - for my daughter's wedding! Leila was super helpful and responsive to our questions, and she and Ashley arrived early (before we did!) and were very attentive to Emma & Gracie during the course of the day - allowing my family to relax and enjoy this very special day! They made sure our girls were walked, fed, hydrated, entertained and calm throughout the day. They then returned them to our Airbnb, let them play outside for a bit, and made sure that they had food & water to last them until we returned. Before they left, they sent us pics of our pups relaxing at the house, which enabled us to enjoy the rest of the evening - knowing that they were safe, secure and had everything they needed. Without their awesome wedding pet attendant services, including our pups in my daughter's big day would have been next to impossible.

My dog Percy is really shy and is scared of everything and everyone. He just hides behind me whenever I take him to dog park. He takes a long time to trust a person or a dog. Leila has been phenomenal at taking care of Percy and she has helped him come out of his shell. She has been very patient and accommodating with him. She has made him a more confident and a playful puppy who can now explore the park on his own and play with dogs his size. Percy has been a part of Leila's doggie field day every week and I have been seeing drastic improvements in his behavior. All thanks to Leila! Percy loves her so much and he is so excited to see her every week. She even made this shy guy find his doggie best friends. I am very grateful that I found her and honestly, she is one of the best things that has happened to my Percy!

Absolutely loved this service for our wedding! We couldn’t imagine our big day without our pup and Leila made it all possible! She was amazing with Archie and it made the day less stressful! I couldn’t recommend Precious Pet Care more to other couples for their wedding day!

This is long overdue! Tale Of the Dog has been taking care of our two large dogs when we go on vacations, Olly and Bear, for several years now. We always get consistent picture and text updates of how they are doing when they stay. They are transparent in their pricing and availability, and always fair. The dogs have plenty of space to run and play, and they always have the best time. It's great knowing they are well taken care of and happy when my husband and I need to leave town. We honestly wouldn't board them anywhere else! If you are on the fence about where to board your dogs, let this review help you decide. You won't be disappointed at the level of quality care and communication here!

We left our dog, Maya, for 4 days while we went on a family get away. We were nervous at 1st because we had never boarded her before. We quickly realized we had nothing to be nervous about! Not only did we get daily updates and pictures but we truly felt like they smothered Maya with love and affection in our absence...and she made friends with the other dogs, too! The staff is so sweet and professional. We would recommend Tale of the Dog for boarding and daycare for anyone looking for good service and reasonable prices!

I HIGHLY recommend this facility! We left our pup here for TWENTY DAYS 😭 after our other arrangements fell through and by the second day staff was sending me videos that clearly showed he was NOT missing us at all! Because he loved the experience so much, we bring him for day care once a week. When I tell him he is “going to camp” he goes bananas and jumps in the car!

I am so thankful I found Tale of the Dog. I was initially nervous to leave her for a week but I had too. I took her for about 6 daycare trips to get used to the place and the staff updated me during the day on how she was doing and sent pictures. The week of boarding went smoothly and I am so relieved. They sent me updates and pictures every day. When I returned she seemed happy to see me and was obviously well cared for. The staff are all obvious dog lovers and friendly and kind people. I definitely recommend this place and I am typically a very picky and critical person when it comes to my kid's and animals.

So grateful for having this boarding place with reasonable size and wonderful staff. We boarded our two dogs recently, with one of them wearing a cone and needs special attention. Both dogs came home happy and healthy. Thank you!

We boarded our dog over a long weekend recently. He had a blast! They sent pictures frequently so we could see that he was playing and happy. We got a written report of who he played with, who he slept with, and how he ate. We plan to use Tale of the Dog on a regular basis for day care fun and socialization, as well as overnight boarding.

This in an incredible daycare/boarding. My dog (Chance) is a rescue. Very shy & unsure of a lot of things mainly other dogs and humans outside of my family. After his temperament evaluation a few daycare and boarding stays he is a different dog. He is so social and confident. He is learned new and appropriate dog behaviors. We now love getting to take him to dog beach where he runs and plays for as long as we let him. Tale of the Dog really made such a difference in our lives. I am so grateful for this team. The staff is incredibly understanding, responsive and caring. I get daily pictures and updates when Chance is with them putting my heart at ease. Knowing that Chance is in such good hands allows me the freedom to be fully present wherever I am. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you so much Tale of the Dog. My dog came back happy and healthy after a three night stay. I got pictures and a video. The place is kennel free and has lots of space. It looks like they rotate the dogs through the yard, which is reasonable. The staff was really nice and very informative.

I used Lil Miss Pets last year for only 2 days, they were great, but this month I used them for 2 long weeks to watch my little cat, they were Amazing. My cat had a lot of pets, love, attention while I was away. I will use them anytime I go away with peace of mind .

Margaret and her team are absolutely amazing! We've used Lil Miss Pets several times now to check in on our cats while we're out of town. Each time we are sent photos and updates of the cats and we can easily tell they've been well taken care of while we're gone. We love this team!

I couldn’t be happier to have found Margaret to care for our dog, Koa, while we were out of town. I could tell from the moment I met her that she would treat Koa like he was her own. Not only did she take Koa for daily walks and give him lots of love and attention, but she sent very detailed updates and photos each day while we were away. She was super thorough and made sure all his needs were met and more. She completely exceeded our expectations! It was so fun seeing the daily photos and how happy our sweet Koa was with Margaret. We will most certainly be using Lil Miss Pets again in the future!

Margaret and Nicole of Lil Miss Pets did a fabulous job caring for my 2 cats for 4 days. They followed all my directions to a tee! Took great pics of the cats, left detailed notes on what they did, and even cleaned up some wind damage on my patio after the Santa Ana wind blew down some of my pots. I highly recommend them and I will probably be using them again!

I would give Lil Miss Pets 100 stars if I could. I've been using their services for three years now for my two cats, and the team at Lil Miss Pets (especially Margaret) has been absolutely wonderful. When my one cat required special needs while I was on a 10 day work trip, I was very concerned, but Lil Miss Pets allayed my anxieties with their keen attentiveness and thoughtfulness. Their visit updates (whereby a team member composes a brief write up summarizing a visit and includes photos) are always informative; these updates also really cheer me up when I'm traveling (the team has gotten pretty good at taking pet pictures!). What I am most grateful for is Lil Miss Pets' rapid response and willingness to help me when I fell ill suddenly and was hospitalized for four days (thereby unable to care for my cats). Since I was relatively incapacitated (but also very worried about my cats), Margaret helped orchestrate all the pet sitting details with a family member of mine, and my feline friends were nonetheless cared for in a prompt and efficient manner. I am very appreciative of the team's swift attention, care, and support. Lil Miss Pets always goes the extra mile, and the team genuinely cares for its clients. I owe the team a massive thank you!

Margret and her team were absolutely amazing with our pups! I have a nervous pup that does not naturally trust and requires some patience as she gets the courage to go on a walk with a new person. This can make going out of town very challenging. BUT! not with help of Little Miss Pets, Margret and her team successfully walked my pups without any issue, and include lots of cute photos and a little write up of our pets experience. I cannot recommend them enough!

Margaret and her team are amazing! We booked a last minute pet check in and they came right to the rescue. We have never left our furbabies (dog/cat) with someone we did not know but this time it was unavoidable. We were away for 3 days and our kiddos were checked on twice a day where they spent time with them and we were updated with photos and write ups on how they were doing the entire time we were away! We have never been comfortable leaving our pets but I can honestly say that next time there will be no question on who we book with. March 2021 - Chris and Barbara are very special people and took excellent care of our 10 month old Maltipoo. He has stayed with them for both day care and overnight visits and I was very happy with the care they provided! I prefer that he get more attention and personalized attention at a smaller, home care setting (like Hugs) vs one of the other more commercialized dog care options. Chris and Barbara took our dog on a nice, long walk in the morning and evening. They were very flexible when our schedule changed and we needed to adjust the pick up time. And our dog came back clean, happy and tired :-) Update 4/2021 - our dog just stayed with Chris and Barbara for the past 10 days and they sent me pictures, videos and updates every day. Also got pictures of our dog sitting with them - I could tell that they truly care about him and he received lots of love in our absence. He celebrated his 1st birthday with them and my daughter was so sad that we weren’t with him. Chris and Barbara threw him a birthday party and FaceTimed with us so that we could see his party they put on - complete with birthday hats, balloons, dog cake and even a present! We were so appreciative and touched (especially my daughter)!

Hugs Pets Sittings did a truly outstanding and professional job caring for my lab Lola for overnight stays in the home-style setting we wanted for our pet. Not only was my dog cared for in a healthy and loving manner with multiple walks and much attention, but the owners also provided me with photos and and video updates throughout my trip so I could see how well Lola had adjusted to her new environment. Another bonus is Hugs Pet Sitting also allowed me to cancel a reservation 5 days prior due to a emergency hospitalization of a family member during the busy holiday season. Their understanding and compassion shows a business that really cares for its customers.

We were very fortunate to have found this place as we were looking for boarding for our furbabies. We love the fact that they get to roam freely and have access to indoor and outdoor space; it was the perfect home away from home for them. Chris and Barbara were very caring and we knew they were in good hands while we were out of town! We enjoyed all the daily check-ins and I know Kona and Milo look forward to their next visit! I've had our two dogs, Penny and Sidney, staying at Hugs Pet Sitting for 2 years now. When I first met Barbara and Chris in their home to discuss our needs, I was struck at how their house was 100% tailor-made to have dogs as guests. To have our dogs in a home environment with a limited number of dogs per day, tended to by TRUE dog-lovers who treat your dogs as if they are their own, is a dream come true. The first year, we had a major home remodel going on, and couldn't have our dogs underfoot with workers going in and out (open doors) and dangerous materials strewn about. Five days a week our dogs got to go to "Camp Cavanaugh" and be loved and pampered by Chris and Barbara. They always went out of their way to make sure they got love and affection, or walks, or pickups or drop-offs to my house when I was in a bind...they are the most generous-hearted people who truly do care. I also 100% know that if any sort of emergency were to arise, it would be handled immediately with intelligent and informed action. Our dogs bonded with their two dogs, Yuki and Peach, for life..they truly are best friends. Their German Shepherd Yuki can at first look imposing because of his size, but he truly is a gentle giant who wouldn't hurt a flea...he is so well mannered and such a gentleman and so sweet. Their other dog Peach is exactly as her name implies...a peach! A sweetheart who loves to play and be friends. Now that we're in our second year, we meet at the park for walks (again, our dogs are BFFs), and when we go out of town, our dogs get the treat of getting to stay at what I now refer to as "their cousin's home." We thank our lucky stars every day that we found Hugs Pet Sitting. It truly lives up to its name. Barbara and Chris both work from home, so the dogs truly are tended to and taken care of. Out of this fortunate connection we've found dear friends for life too, in Barbara and Chris! Dog lovers, they are the real deal!! Your search is over...just bring them to Hugs!

I can’t tell you how pleased I was with Hugs Pet Boarding and day care! I originally had my dog scheduled to be boarded at a facility for 10 days. This weighed on our shoulders for days before we left. The thought of him inside sleeping in a kennel and only going out to play with other dogs a few times a day was agonizing!! After searching I came upon Hugs doggy daycare/boarding. This was like finding a diamond in the rough! Everything from my first contact with Chris and Barb was nothing more than professional. We had a meet and greet before our trip and I felt completely confident that this was the place for our pup. They did not disappoint!! Every day they sent us a little video clip of how much fun our pup was having. We actually were concerned that he would not want to come home with us when we came to pick him up. He was having a great time!! Everyday! I would definitely refer my best friends and family and anyone who asks for a place to bring their fur babies to Hugs!!!

Our 6 month old Viszla puppy, Maple, had such a great time at Hugs! It was so comforting to be able to leave her in a home setting and get daily pictures/videos of her activities and behavior. She was so tired out when we picked her up from running around with the other dogs and it was clear she enjoyed herself! This was our first time leaving her with someone other than our family members and it's safe to say we will definitely be using Hugs again, highly recommend!

Chris and Barbara took wonderful care of our dog over our spring break vacation. They cared about her comfort and walked her everyday while she stayed with them. We felt lucky that she was in such good and caring hands. Their place was clean and set up wonderfully for dogs to roam freely and play. They even sent us pictures and videos showing what a great time our dog was having with the other dogs there. One thing especially I would give them a shout out for is how they took some time to screen the dogs they accepted. It was great knowing that they made sure our dog would be comfortable with the other dogs there before we left her there. I wish I could give more stars than five and definitely wouldn't think twice before having her stay with Chris and Barbara again in the future!

Chris and Barbara were wonderful hosts to our 7 month old golden retriever. They were quick to communicate. They sent updates daily. They were willing to work with our picky eater and make accommodations for him. They got him out for exercise daily. He was a happy pup when we picked him up after 3 nights! Hugs is absolutely the best place for your furry friends! I am beyond grateful we found Hugs. Chris and Barbara are amazing with the animals. Our fur babies, Lola and Ziggy, come home happier when they are at Hugs versus anywhere else when we are out. Hugs take wonderful care of the animals and I love how they send photos and video clips of the animals everyday. It makes me feel so comfortable knowing the dogs are in excellent hands. Gigi is the best! I don't hesitate to leave my dog with her. They are fast and friendly and pricing is reasonable. Gigi is gone now. They raised their geooming rates from $60 to $75 without any notice to customers. Very disappointed.

Many years ago I used them and Joella was hilarious and so much fun and so knowledgeable and compassionate! I used them for boarding when needed, but also training for a very stubborn and feisty Lhasa Apso poodle mix and they were the only ones who helped me with her and also getting her into agility training which got a lot of her feistiness directed in the right way! I can't say enough good things about them! Fond memories!

Long story, our house flooded (bad water heater) and we are unable to be home. Had to take dogs to daycare. My elderly chihuahua was kicked out of our regular daycare spot, shes old, scared and grumpy and bit someone trying to leash her. I called many many other places and Animal Keeper was the ONLY place that said bring her for a meet/greet we'll see if we can make it work. Well they really tried for 30 mins, but she just wasn't calming and they decided they couldn't keep her. I am giving them high rating because they really tried and were ao kind where others were downright rude. Will use them for future pets if i get the chance.

Love this place. My dog always whines with anticipation when we get close and runs right in! They have a sports package where active dogs get to play for hours during their stay. My dog comes back healthy and happy, albeit tired! Air conditioned for the dogs on hot days.

My puppy came back with a bit of a limp, it went away after a day. She came back super smelly and skinny and we got a nail trim and they barely cut anything

My little Emma Lue is 10 years old & in those 10 years, I have not found a groomer that I've been particularly fond of/trusted. I am delighted to say the wonderful people over at The Animal Keeper finally have changed that for me. The staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating. We just started taking our puppy here, and we have had the BEST experience so far. We had a poor experience at another daycare and bringing her here has been like a breath of fresh air. The staff are the most friendly and accommodating staff you've ever met, I haven't spoken to a single person who wasn't so nice. Our puppy comes home happily exhausted after a day there, and she gets excited to go back. Plus, they have the nicest areas for the dogs - the dogs stay mostly outside in a really fun environment and then are brought inside to hang in their own big spaces for rest time/eating. I especially appreciated them taking the time to show me around without a tour being scheduled! They've been highly flexible in every area. Highly highly recommend taking your dog here!!

My dog Kodi had the absolute best time there! He was boarded for 3 days and groomed on the last day before pickup. We got him the sports package so he was able to play with other dog friends and socialize. They are a wonderful facility with the kindest staff! We will for sure be going back for boarding and grooming!!!

So I needed a dog walker in San Diego who could take care of my best friend while I’m at work. I met Jen and let me tell you something there are dog people in animal lovers and then there is Jen loves pets. They go the extra mile an extra step to make you know and feel comfortable leaving them in charge of your furry friend. While I’m gone, I receive updates of whether my little buddy went one and two, I also receive photos, and sometimes even a video of his antics as he goes for his daily walk It’s very difficult to find someone who cares that much about your animal They don’t treat it as a job they treated as a passion and I can’t believe I looked into finding out about this business because I can’t imagine anyone else walking my Smoky.

This place is a gem! First steps with our puppy such as socialization, some commands and behaviors were so important and helpful to get in place to have an easier time with our dog. We had previous experience, with different dogs we had, with different trainer, but the combination of, Tay, Zoom class and in class dog socialization is brilliant. We took our puppy, Luna, to S.T.A.R puppy course, and Tay in a positive, kind and patient guidance, has helped us shape Luna to a much relaxed, well behaved puppy. As puppy gets so easily distracted, it always good to start with minimal distractions, and add some, once behavior is established, so working from home in Zoom, was an excellent idea, which also left us more time, to communicate with Tay, ask her many questions - to all we got answers. The place where puppies get to socialize, is super clean, you get to see the puppies in video in Zoom, and see how well they manage it. Overall, super easy and enjoyable, not to mention puppy socialization is a must, and well behaved puppy makes life so much simple! Thanks team, and hope to see you in CGC class!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jen and her team! They have taken such good care of our two cats, I will never trust anyone else with them! They are reasonably priced and I love the daily updates and photos they provide. Such a nice touch! Jen has such a kind heart. She really helped us out recently when I was in the hospital longer than planned and we needed last minute care for the cats. I recommend her and her team to everyone I know who has pets!

JenLovesPets is amazing! The team truly loves the pets they care for! They are awesome with more difficult pets too, my dog is reactive when she's on leash and the team stays alert to keep her away from other dogs. I always feel the love in the messages from each visit, and the pictures help ease my separation anxiety from my dog! My dog doesn't always love new people, but she is always ecstatic to see her JLP friends and I'm pretty sure she likes them more than me!

We love Best Friends Forever Pet Care! We require two daily visits, plus administering medication. It's no problem for Tanya. In addition to all of the good care, she takes the time to play with our cat and give him some attention. Also, our cat is very shy around people. He warmed right up to Tanya. When she comes over, he runs right out to see her. That is the only recommendation I need.

When my elderly parents' dog "Albert" developed diabetes and needed insulin injections twice a day we didn't know what we were going to do. Our dog, Steve, and our family absolutely LOVE Justin and Marlie. We’ve known Marlie since our Lab was 6 months old as she used to work at the Vet we take him to. He is now 8, so most of his life, prior to them relocating north, he spent with them playing and having sleepovers :). There were times that we would just send him overnight because we knew he missed being there and they missed seeing him. They are both extremely professional and have a true passion for animals which can be seen in all areas of their business. We love you guys! And miss you down here in San Diego.

Marlie and Justin, who own Pet Adventures, are very caring and genuine people. My dog can be somewhat shy and they made her part of their sweet family...a home away from home. Marlie has a background as a vet tech and knows a lot about dogs. I trusted her insights. Justin is so heartfelt and allowed my dog to bond with him, which helped her to feel safe and secure. Many times they came to my rescue when unforeseen things would arise and I needed help with boarding. I was so grateful for all that they did for both myself and Kioni!! I miss them as they are now in Gold Beach, Oregon. The bar has been raised and it will be difficult to find another facility as comparable. We can’t begin to say how happy we are with the care Marlie and Justin give our dog Beau. They are so accommodating and knowledgeable and the best part is Beau loves them and loves going there. We have boarded with them too and the feeling of knowing your animal is safe and loved is the best part! We can’t thank them enough for working with Beau, he’s a strong willed large puppy and they have really helped us with him. He comes home tired and happy and calmer! Our family has entrusted Marlie and Justin with our family dog Brody’s care many many times over during the last 5 years. Brody’s stays ranged from extended weekends to multiple weeks at a time. Each and every stay Brody was over the moon happy to go with Marlie and Justin, never looking back. When Brody returned home he was always in good spirits and well taken care of.
