Waggy Tails Pet Care is a great sitter, she did an amazing job taking care of my dog Ernie. I’ve used her several times now and she always does a great job. Roseanne looked in on my cat every day for over a week to ensure he was safe, had his meds, and was doing well after an operation. She sent updates each day whilst I was overseas so I could not only read about how he was, but also see a picture of him. I felt very safe in entrusting her with my pet and my house in my absence.

George was excellent with our dog Sebastian. We received videos and photos every day, and knew our dog was in good hands. While we were away, we would have normally been worried about our dog, as he is old and has a heart condition. However, we were confident with Waggy Tails Pet Care, and knew that our pet was receiving the best treatment while we were away.

Roxanne really cares about the dogs she watches. Our dog gets so excited as we approach Roxanne’s home, so we know she enjoys her visits. She is very accommodating with last minute requests, which we seem to have frequently. Our dog loves playing with her dog as well.

Binky loved her day at waggy Tails pet care. It is obvious that Roseanne loves dogs. She makes them comfortable and at ease and they seem very happy. She even got Binky trained in basic obedience training which was amazing. The best part is that she only takes a few dogs so they get individual care. I would have no hesitation in recommending her and using as my regular sitter!

Highly recommend Waggy Tails! I’ve been taking my pup to Roseanne for almost 3 years and never had a problem. Price is reasonable, and my dog is very fond of Roseanne. My dog is anxious and doesn’t warm up easily but Roseanne is really good at caring for pets so my dog warmed up quickly. She also sends pictures to keep me updated on how my pup is doing, without me asking. I will continue going to Roseanne for doggy day cares for years to come!

If I could give Waggy Tails pet care beyond Five Stars I would. Roseanne is amazing!! She is gentle, kind, and loving person. We spent the Holidays with Family and had to leave our boys with her. We are happy with Roseanns care of our little dog. She offers affordable, in-home pet care for smaller dogs, and every time she watches our dog I feel safe and confident, knowing that she is with Roseanne service. When we pick our dog up, even after extended stays, our dog comes back happy and relaxed. We would definitely recommend Roseanne.

Rose is an amazing animal caretaker! She has years of experience and it shows. Rose is very professional, honest and full of love for all the animals. Rose not only was able to look after my pets on a super short notice (which made my unexpected trip out of town so much easier) she also went above and beyond to make sure they stayed on their routine. Her knowledge of animals and her demeanor with my fur babies is greatly appreciated. She was a great communicator and problem solver. I definitely felt at ease knowing she was looking after my pets. I recently had Roseanne watch my dog at her house for a couple days. She took great care of my dog. I appreciated the regular updates, which made me feel better about being away. She was also very flexible with scheduling the dropoff and pickup. Roseanne seems like a very caring and attentive person with pets.

I moved my 2/3 pug 1/3 pittie-boxer foster fail love bug (Juan Pablo) from Camp-Run-A-Mutt to Paw Commons for doggy daycare. Paw Commons has by far been the better experience for our pup. First, there is way more space, a great water feature where the dogs who want to get wet can frolic, and there are way fewer dogs (or simply just way more space for them). My pup stopped wanting to get out of the car at the former place where at Paw Commons, he is super excited to go and jumps happily out of the car when we arrive. This speaks volumes of the difference in experience he had. The humans at both places are professional and kind, it just seems like the dogs have a little more room to play, jump up on various things, hide under things and of course engage in water play if they want. 10/10. The owner of Paw Commons is very passionate about providing an amazing experience for the dogs. Perhaps something about being a franchise like Camp-Run-A-Mutt they need to get as many dogs as possible crammed in on any given day. I cannot say enough amazing things about Paw Commons Kearny Mesa. All of the staff and trainers were so patient and helpful with my anxious German Shepard and his stranger danger and reactivity. I boarded both my dogs together for 2 weeks and the staff sent me tons of pics and videos of my happy pups. I was super anxious and nervous about how my GS would act with strangers, but he did amazing, and every member of the staff I talked to made me feel super comfortable about leaving him. I’m so grateful for their care and attention to my pup’s individual needs, my heart could explode. Now I’ll be booking more trips knowing my fur babies will be well taken care of and super happy at PC. They also got bathed before I picked them up and they smell and look amazing. Thank you Paw Commons, you are a life saver for this reactive dog mama! <3

I absolutely LOVE this place. More so, because my dog loves it. She gets so excited when she sees where we’re going. They trained her for us for several weeks when we first got her, and the dog we got back was not the same dog we sent. She was better trained and easier to handle. We have used a better portion of the services offered at Paw Commons and intend for them to be a decent part of our dog’s life. The love the staff shows is second to none. They clearly love dogs here and it shows! I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. They’ve been a godsend to our family and we’re so grateful for them.

Love this place. They always take great care of our babe Nala and she loves going there. Loves to play with all her friends human and pups. They are so good at paying attention to when shes been too overstimulated. They take the necessary precautions for dogs to come in and be a part of the day care play time programs and keeping them safe. Love this place. Alexis is the best goes above and beyond! We love the report card with pictures updates while we are away.

The staff at Paw Commons are the greatest. My pup loves going to daycare and grooming. Training with Kayla has also been a amazing and hassle free has seen such Improvement in a short amount of time.

We have boarded our Westie, Winston, a number of times with Paw Commons. The staff is awesome! They really do keep an eye on the pups and if there are any issues they notify you and keep you up to date. It's nice to know that Winston is in a safe and fun environment while we are away. In particular, he loves being in the pond! They also have Muttcams so you can watch your dog in the play yard during the day. PC also has a great selection of healthy dog foods, treats, toys as well as grooming available on site. This is a great place to take your dog for a day of fun and play to burn off excess energy, or while you go on a vacation. Your dog will get lots of love, affection and attention. I highly recommend Paw Commons.

We LOVE Paw Commons at Kearny Mesa! We have two pups that need regular socialization, and the team at Paw Commons goes above and beyond with the care of our pups. We have boarded with them, and we are regulars for daycare. I never worry about the well being of my pups while they are there. Each pup is loved and tended to with special consideration given to their unique needs and personalities.

My dog Stella LOVES going to the Paw Commons Kearny Mesa location. All of the workers know her, have nicknames for her, and get excited when she walks in the door. She loves the pools at this location and I enjoy watching her splash around in them and romp with the other pups on their doggy cameras. Booking appointments is super easy and they have good packages and deals.

We are very thankful that Paw Commons provides a safe and fun place for our puppy dogs when we attend to our scheduled medical treatments. The dogs are happy campers and the staff is so good and understanding. We love that we have a trusting place to leave them.

Karena my dog’s trainer is amazing. She went above and beyond to help me sort out my dogs boarding and training. He came back so well behaved. He also knows to bring the ball back when we play fetch now. Absolute magic. It is nice to see the same staff there. The vibe is really comfortable. The groomers also did the best groom on my husky that she has ever had. Honestly I didn’t know you could do all they did for her since I usually wash her at home. I will definitely add a bath whenever I board my dog now. I also liked watching the cameras and report cards. I was showing all my friends and family. Thank you thank you thank you!

I cannot thank Precious Petcare and my Wedding Pet Attendants (Hilary & Tory) enough!!! First of all, Leila and her staff were very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and they ensured that my 2 fur kids would get the best care possible for my big day. When the big day came, I felt SO comfortable with Hilary & Tory’s capabilities as ‘temporary’ dog mommas for my special day. It took such a HUGE burden and relief off of my shoulders, knowing that they were in such good hands. They were both able to keep my pups calm and happy, even with Scooter’s terrible separation anxiety! They also followed my detailed instructions to a TEE, and walked our ‘Ring Bearer’ and ‘Flower Pup’ down the aisle with no issues! They did an amazing job getting their energy out by constantly walking them around, letting them enjoy nature (they even saw a deer), playing with them, and keeping them well treated and extra cozy (Scooter was warm and wrapped in a blankie when he got chilly!). They truly watched them like hawks, snuggled them, and treated them like their own. When I saw them both with the pups (and heard nothing but amazing comments from my guests!), I knew that they were in amazing hands and I could be calm, relax, and really enjoy myself. They were also a great influence on my young pup, Millie, and her shyness around other people! We noticed such a huge improvement in Millie the day after the wedding! She was like a whole new dog. She’s so much less skittish after having the opportunity to meet with so many guests. I thank Hilary & Tory for giving her that opportunity, as it was much needed for a young rescue dog! They were stellar at their jobs —- they were punctual, kind, calm, professional, organized and dedicated. I also can’t thank them enough for the amazing photos that they sent. They are my absolute favorite photos for sure, and I’m so glad that they captured those moments for me (as the bride misses all the fun! Lol). I highly recommend Precious Petcare!!! 5 stars

We had Hannah with us for our wedding weekend and she exceeded all of our expectations caring for our maltipoo Bear! She continuously went above and beyond to make sure Bear was well fed rested and at the places she needed to be all weekend to be part of our celebrations. I was over the moon knowing Bear was in great hands for 4 days with Hannah until we came back to our hotel every day. Bear was able to join every event we hosted for our guests and I couldn’t be happier! Hannah even helped us every time photos were taken to make sure Bear was smiling & she helped coach Bear to walk down the aisle. Highly highly recommend precious pet care for your wedding or every day sitting needs!!! I wish they were closer to us in Los Angeles so we could use them on the regular :(

My husband and I just returned fron 6 weeks overseas. This is the first time leaving our 14 year old Calico Trixie using a pet service to visit. Our kids work and wanted someone to be with her during the week. We chose Precious Pet Care from Yelp reviews!! Not disappointed! Janna was our sitter the whole time away. She came 3 times a week. She shared pictures, communication/update and videos of how Trixie was doing. She respected our request to change Trix's ice water (spoiled kitty). Plated with her, gave her special treat! Brushed her. Cleaned her litter box. So much more. She treated her as I would have!! 🙂 Trixie was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and has specialized diet. From the start everyone Leila who helped me through the process made me feel secure and warm to their services.

I've used Precious Petcare the past few months for Doggie Daycare for my pup Cash. He always comes back happy and exhausted. This past week we were out of the country for our wedding and I felt at ease every time I received a daily update and pictures showing that he was well taken care of and enjoying himself with the other pups. Thank you Leila and the team for taking good care of my baby. We are so happy to have found this place for daycare and boarding.

We have taken our active dog, Anda, to Precious Pet Care for daycare, overnight stays, and boarding for the past few months. This is the first time that Anda has been to daycare and it is safe to say he loves its! Anda gets to play outside with all the dogs and gets lots of attention from the staff at Precious Pet Care. There is a good variety of dogs, and our dog has befriended the owner's dog. Whenever he comes home he looks very happy and is tired the rest of the day from all the play time. The staff are mindful to make sure he eats his meals and uses the bathroom regularly. They appropriately supervise to ensure he gets along with the other dogs. They also are very flexible with drop off/pick up times and communicative with us, sending daily updates with photos and videos. Most recently, he spent the holidays boarding at Precious Pet Care during our vacation. He definitely got a lot of attention, as there was a doggy holiday party with special treats, a Christmas photo shoot, and he came back with a gift bag and report card for his stay. We would absolutely recommend Precious Pet Care to anyone looking for a homey place for their dog to stay for any of the services they offer.

We booked Precious Pet Care for their wedding pet attendant service, and I highly recommend them!! We wanted to have our dog walk in the ceremony and have someone look after him at the Airbnb during the reception, but didn’t want to have any of our friends/family do it and miss out on the celebration. Precious Pet Care was the perfect solution! With everything that goes on during your wedding day, it was great to know that our dog was cared for and happy! Now I’ll be honest, our dog is not the best trained and can be very excitable, but Johnny did a fantastic job getting his energy out beforehand and keeping him entertained all day so he was comfortable when it came time for the ceremony! We got so many cute pictures with our pup too! It meant so much to have our dog with us on our big day and know he was safe and happy while we celebrated the night away! If that sounds like something you’d also want for your wedding, Precious Pet Care is the way to go!

Precious Pet Care was great in assisting us with the care of our pets Emma and Gracie on 4.02.23 - for my daughter's wedding! Leila was super helpful and responsive to our questions, and she and Ashley arrived early (before we did!) and were very attentive to Emma & Gracie during the course of the day - allowing my family to relax and enjoy this very special day! They made sure our girls were walked, fed, hydrated, entertained and calm throughout the day. They then returned them to our Airbnb, let them play outside for a bit, and made sure that they had food & water to last them until we returned. Before they left, they sent us pics of our pups relaxing at the house, which enabled us to enjoy the rest of the evening - knowing that they were safe, secure and had everything they needed. Without their awesome wedding pet attendant services, including our pups in my daughter's big day would have been next to impossible.

My dog Percy is really shy and is scared of everything and everyone. He just hides behind me whenever I take him to dog park. He takes a long time to trust a person or a dog. Leila has been phenomenal at taking care of Percy and she has helped him come out of his shell. She has been very patient and accommodating with him. She has made him a more confident and a playful puppy who can now explore the park on his own and play with dogs his size. Percy has been a part of Leila's doggie field day every week and I have been seeing drastic improvements in his behavior. All thanks to Leila! Percy loves her so much and he is so excited to see her every week. She even made this shy guy find his doggie best friends. I am very grateful that I found her and honestly, she is one of the best things that has happened to my Percy!

Absolutely loved this service for our wedding! We couldn’t imagine our big day without our pup and Leila made it all possible! She was amazing with Archie and it made the day less stressful! I couldn’t recommend Precious Pet Care more to other couples for their wedding day!

Wag Hotel exceeded all my expectations for boarding my Frenchie. First off, the staff is incredible—they’re clearly happy to be there, and that made all the difference. My Frenchie stayed for 10 days while I was working in Miami, and since I usually travel with him, leaving him for so long was tough. Thankfully, the webcam was a lifesaver; I could check in on him anytime and see if he was eating and when. The “hotel schedule” they provide is great for keeping track of what he’s up to throughout the day. I was worried he might not eat much during the first few days as he adjusted, so I requested they give him breakfast and dinner. To my surprise, they went above and beyond by offering him lunch and a treat to encourage him to eat during the midday. It felt like they were treating him just as I would, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. I kept the webcam on even during my flight back, and it was so reassuring to see how gentle they were with him. They even took the time to refluff and remake his bed during housekeeping. They allowed me to leave him with a blanket that smelled like me to help with his anxiety, which was such a thoughtful touch. I also took one of his toys along for the same reason, and it was comforting to know they were taking care of him just the way I would. One of the best parts of Wag Hotel was their attention to detail with his feeding. I add salmon oil and supplements to his breakfast, and they had no problem accommodating that. Next time, I plan to sign him up for all-day play every other day so he can socialize more without getting too exhausted. The pictures they send three times a day are incredibly comforting—I could even tell from them that he made a Frenchie friend! They noted that he was getting plenty of pets and cuddles from the staff, and they even played fetch with him. It was a 100/10 experience. If you’re as protective of your dog as I am, Wag Hotel is the place you need. My only small wish is that they had cameras for the play breaks, but that’s why I’ll opt for all-day play next time. This experience was flawless, and I couldn’t recommend them more. The 24/7 drop off and pick up was also so comforting. Now if I want to go out for the night such as a concert I can drop him off and pick him any time !

Staff and facility was excellent! I was nervous leaving my pups for the first time but being able to see them on the webcam set my mind at ease. I called twice to check on them and both times staff answered the phone and gave me an update. They also sent adorable pictures of them while at play. worth every penny. I will be checking them in again in the future!!

My husband and I loved the Wag hotel for our pups. Their facility was really nice, but what really stood out to me was their communication. I'm not going to lie, this was the first time leaving our dogs with someone who wasn't close friends or family and I had such a hard time leaving them there (my husband was at work, but was able to talk on the phone and listen to me sob). We received daily pictures of our dogs and we really liked having access to their playtime, it really gave us a sense of peace and security. When we picked them up, the staff read to us the dogs' report cards on their stay. The whole process was easy to book and we really appreciate the first responder discount that Wag provides, as my husband and I are both first responders. We will definitely book again :)

I recently had to find reliable care for a 10-day stay, the first time for my pup. I researched several options, including at home care, traditional daycare boarding with overnight options, stay at a private home, and other boarding programs. Some of those options included just putting my dog in a room (with no human supervision overnight!) and risks of my dog running out into the street for some of the in-home options. I had never really thought about a pet hotel, but I did all my research and finally decided to try Wag Hotel after the free trial for daycare. I got regular reports, my pup ate ALL of her food and they handled her medications. I was so afraid my pup would be traumatized being away from home, but pick up day was great with no stress and my pup was happy to go back for shorter visits afterwards. The place is clean and the dogs are happy when they come out in the lobby. I booked a one night holiday day again recently and same result. Our pup was very well cared for and chill. I will definitely use Wag Hotel again and highly recommend it. PS I have tried in-home pet care, daycare that offer overnight, and a 24 Hour place. So I’m talking from experience and I will definitely not try anything other than Wag in the future. I’m not a professional reviewer and have no affiliation with the company. I was just very impressed.

I have been bringing my dogs to Wag Hotels for the last 8 years and been super happy with the attentive care they receive. They have always gone above and beyond treating my dogs like their own. The team at Wag took great care of our two dogs while we were out of town. We checked in on them through the video feed and watched them play. Facilities were clean and safe. Dogs had fun and were so tired when we picked them up

Good packages for options. Brought my dog here for 2 days in their boarding hotel area. I wish the cameras worked better when you want to watch your dog. People were nice and it seemed clean and good as an option for what it is.

I wanted to give a good review…but…my dogs were at the San Diego Wag Hotel for two weeks. I got photos of them but it was more like proof of life hostage pictures. My sister paid about 1/2 the price and gets magazine quality photos and her dogs got to go on the “spooky trail” her place arranged for them. Also, my dogs were supposed to get a complimentary bath, but instead they were returned with dried poo on their booties and shoulder and smelling like pee. When I called. I was told that they had a bath on pick up day. This was absolutely untrue as the poo was like cement on their backsides. This makes me think they were not properly looked after at all. HOW LONG DID THEY HAVE TO SIT IN THIER OWN POO?? Is this acceptable there? I wouldn’t let any animal walk around like that. Management was supposed to call me but, no surprise, they didn’t bother to do that either.

This is our fourth time boarding with Wags Hotel in Mission Valley and they are great. The staff are all passionate and friendly with pets. They send us pictures of our pets having a good time and our dogs actually get excited when we pull in to the parking lot to drop them off. It really leaves us peace of mind knowing our family pets are in good hands. We look forward to boarding with them again when the need arrives.

Ashley has been so helpful with working with our very leash reactive dog. She is flexible , responsive, and a very knowledgeable dog trainer for more reactive dogs. Our walks are becoming more tolerable and it’s all thanks to her !

Ashley Valentine is an excellent trainer who I highly recommend.Ashley has greatly helped me in effectively handling and managing my dog-reactive & human-reactive dachshund. Ashley has educated me on dog body language and systems to manage and train my dog. The quality of my relationship with my dog has evolved all thanks to Ashley’s amazing education. Ashley’s dog daycare has been great as well to help with dog/human socialization and play time!

We started bringing Zero to Ashley's daycare and then later began private lessons with her, after a recommendation from another trainer, to help us work through the behavioral challenges from our now 11 month old. Daycare not only provided a healthy outlet for his social needs, but it also built up his confidence as an anxious pup. One of the best advantages of this daycare is that it's privately run and we really felt that our needs and our dog's needs were considered by Ashley and the wonderful staff. We also feel at ease knowing an experienced dog trainer that understands dog behavior is present. After a couple months of taking Zero to daycare, it was a no brainer that we were going to have private lessons as well. He is generally anxious about a lot of things such as strangers, joggers, bikes, loud noises, etc. and is reactive to those things. He is also reactive to dogs from leash frustration. The lessons and training sessions have been absolute game changers for us. We've seen some huge improvements not only in our dog, but also in us as the handlers. Ashley has really gone above and beyond each lesson, and the resources she has as a trainer have been so valuable. There's a lot of things we've tried to learn "self-taught" but there are just some things that cannot be learned or replicated without the experience of a great trainer, so I really really recommend her. It's going to be long journey for us, especially for a dog in adolescence, but we're excited to continue lessons with Ashley.

Ashley Valentine was referred to me by another trainer who was working with my dog for basic commands. My dog being a sweet dog and a foster case. I was the fourth owner in 7 months. I found out my dog engaged in Resource Guarding. He Loved me but not anyone else around me. So no one, none of my friends could pet my dog or come close to me and my dog. My dog is very cute and everyone wants to hold my dog and pet him. He snaps and growls if anyone extends their hands out to do so and if anyone comes close to me he barks or threatens to bite or lunges at that person protecting me. The other issue is I had never been separated from my dog for one day, and who would watch my dog if I traveled? I had just booked a cruise which was going to happened in a year. Hence, Ashley Valentine 's services come's in handy. Will explain more, read further. For me and my experience: With my dog Max. I have had one consultation and two day care sessions. I am sure everyone has different results, but I will share my experience thus far. What impresses me is her astuteness not only to the dog but to the owner. I was a nervous wreck leaving Max at daycare, she sent me a video within 5 minutes of leaving assuring me Max was doing good acclimating, and then ten minutes of his progress. She is always positive and her voice on the video is calming- it is no wonder the dogs love her and do so well and are happy. Also after my first consultation, which I have to admit I was freak out about the price. But the amount of information I learned. She followed up and sent at least ten videos that you get to keep watching and learning about behaviorism and training and learning about your dog, and different treats, products, and commands. The do's, don't and whys. A pet owner comes out way ahead if they are counting pennies. Ashley answers every text, phone call, or email, and gets back to you within 24-48 hours, she explains things and even will give opinions or make suggestions about products. Ashley has her individual consultation, which is ideal and invaluable. But then the day care which your dog learns socialization and confidence. My dog has learned and is allowing others to engage with him including people. He is being less aggressive. Ashley has doggy Day care for two different sizes of dogs. She also has boarding for when you travel. Which will help me when I go on my cruise. I look forward to seeing Max continue to grow and learn more skills working with Ashley and her team as well as me learning more skills and becoming a better pet owner working with Max to help with his development and socialization. In early September 2024 my husband and I brought home a beautiful 2 1/2-year old Golden Doodle, Mavi. He was a rescue. Our family consisted of my husband, me, and our 9-year-old German Shepherd-Catahoula Leopard mix, Bailey. In preparation for this significant change to our home and to Bailey’s life, we consulted Ashley for guidance. Given the geographical distance between us and Ashley, our training sessions took place via Zoom calls. These video calls proved to be advantageous and effective. Ashley‘s knowledge, professionalism, yet down-to-earth demeanor made the training sessions productive and enjoyable. She provided practical tips for initial introductions between Mavi and Bailey, which proved successful. This was a big relief as Bailey is particularly possessive of me and easily jealous/agitated with any living being in close proximity to me, especially in our home. Ashley‘s guidance resulted in a peaceful introduction, and after a few weeks a harmonious union. Today Mavi and Bailey are buddies! Mavi’s presence has brought out a youthfulness in Bailey. They walk together, play together, eat together, cuddle on either side of me on the sofa! We are very grateful for Ashley‘s guidance through this transition. She just has that professional manner that made us feel very comfortable. She came to meet with us and had all the credentials she mentions on her website. She is also easy to communicate with and to just deal with, in general. We've used her services a few times and everything always runs like clockwork. I recently decided to hire a dog walker for a few days a week when I worked late. My dogs were so happy on the days that Christine walked them that I upgraded to everyday walks while I'm at work. My pups are so much calmer when I get home and I don't feel as guilty leaving them. Christine is really easy going and a great dog walker - my pups love her. As the business owner she's also always professional and always has a backup so I am never left high and dry if one of them is sick (something I have experienced with another dog walking service). I can't recommend them more!

Our dog loves going to daycare and boarding here! She has separation anxiety so having a reliable and professional daycare has made a huge difference for her and us. The cage free boarding is a good fit for her and she enjoys the other dogs (from what I see in the photos)

My family want on a VK to San Diego for a couple of days. Saturday was our time we be busy. I was worried about leaving my pup pup in the hotel room. So I look up at daycare for dogs and they were the first to come up. It's was his very first time my dog 🐕 try out a daycare. I was worried about him being in a new place that he never try before. I call when they open told me they take him with no problem. Especially on a Saturday. And they have a Dog Cam Live to how they doing and when I saw he was having so much fun I felt so happy and relieved just a happy dog mommy. Pick him up, so tired from all the play play and making new friends he made. The woman I talk to on the phone was sweet and nice, felt good energy from her. When I got there were so nice and friendly and welcoming. I would 100% bring my pup pup here again

This place is totally amazing. They take such great care of my baby doggie😊 They always do special activities, and they take holiday pictures of your babies, dressed in appropriate holiday attire! My dog loves it so much when he gets to stay & play here. No other facility I have ever used comes close to providing this kind of safe, loving, fun environment for your fur baby! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We have been coming here for a few months, and as a family who travels often our doggy has visited her share of doggy daycares. Staff and service here @ canines unleashed set themselves apart. During drop off and pick up you are greeted at your car with a smile, genuine greeting and staff to aide in getting you inside while taking that pressure off you with other dogs coming and going on leash. I love that they have cameras to check on my pet while she is there. The bath add on option is wonderful for us with our lab who gets into everything. Staff is very interactive with the pets, playing with, petting, and throwing tennis balls. The automatic refill bowls are clutch for our water loving dog. The hours and packages are great, and supporting a local small business with military roots makes it all the better. Matt, Khyu and the rest of staff we really appreciate the love and attention you give our chocolate girl.

Amazing doggie daycare! They take such good care of the pups! Our Josie loved coming here. She would jump out of the car and sprint into the facility. They are so loving and kind. She was absolutely spoiled! I highly recommend Canines Unleashed!

I love that the dogs get to play off leash while they’re here, and my dog comes home happy. They have cameras where you can see the dogs (with one blind spot). The staff is great and always friendly and helpful. The only thing I don’t love is that my dog comes home stinky. I think it’s just from all the dog slobber from playing, and maybe from occasionally stepping in a pee puddle before the staff has the chance to clean it. Overall, this is a great place to take your dog for daycare or boarding.

I really love this place!!! I was nervous to bring my 4.5 month puppy to daycare when I had to go back to work, but so happy that I found one that I can trust. The employees are super friendly and caring towards my pup, and I can tell he really loves going here. It's very clean inside and smells SO much better than a few other daycares I visited. I love the cameras too - a few times that I've turned it on, I've seen the staff hugging and kissing my dog:) Makes me feel really good that he's cared for like that. It really feels like a family owned business and doesn't have that big corporate feel which is nice. Another plus: they offer a military discount and $9 bath!

Our dog gets so excited when it's time for daycare. The team takes great care of her and she can even get a bath while there! We love checking in on the Doggie Cam and especially appreciate the team's genuine friendliness.

First time here and it was a pleasant experience for my dog Kiki. She was here for 4th of July weekend and she enjoyed her time here. I got the solo dog sleepover and she enjoyed it all. 24 Hour dog daycare, was the best, It was my puppy first time there and he had such a blast playing with all the dogs, we got a report card during his visit and lots of photos, along with a very detailed description of how his day was going! When we got our Maltese back, he was smelling so good. He was calm and relaxed. We believe that he was pampered and spoiled well during the 6 hours of TLC. The daycare is so convenient for us since we could drop off and pick up our pet at anytime. I don’t see another daycare who could be so flexible like that. We will definitely come back! 100%. We went to have a thanksgiving dinner with my family and then went to the outlet for some shopping. It was so worry free. Thank you 24 hour dog daycare for all the care you gave to our precious one.

This was our first time at 24 hour dog day care. They are accommodating and flexible with their hours and our doggie seemed happy with her time there. We loved her “report card” and the great pictures they sent us with her new friends.

I've only used them 2 times so far but their prices are fair and I really like how easy it is to schedule a daycare session online, and convenient drop off and pickup times, any time of the day. I often have to travel up the 15 freeway for trips to Riverside County, so I can swing by as late as needed with no issues. Like others have said, the smell of ammonia from dog urine as soon as I opened the front door almost made me gag. It was so strong it took my breath away. Have they gone nose blind or something? I asked the girl behind the desk why it smelled so strong like ammonia, and she said it always smells like that and alot of clients think it smells good. I was perplexed by this answer, and so I asked another girl who came out to front desk area, and she said they have strict cleaning protocols and they clean multiple times a day. This is the first time I've ever used a doggy daycare or boarding facility, so I wondered if they all smell like this? My dog came from the shelter, and the shelter didnt even smell this bad, so that's saying something about how strong the urine smell is here. I didn't have time to find another alternative, so I had to leave her and hit the road. When I picked her up that evening, she smelled fresh like she had a bath. I even went back inside and asked them if she had a bath but they said no. Very odd. A week later I had to drop her off again because I would be picking her up late, but this time the urine smell was even worse. I called to check in 3 times during her stay, and each time I got the voicemail - I left a message and I didnt receive a call back for several hours - pretty unacceptable. When I picked her up, she had that same fresh scent, but with the lingering odor of ammonia in her coat. When we got home I couldn't take it, and I had to give her a towel bath. Another thing that I found strange about this place is they don't allow you to tour it and they don't allow a live video feed. What are they hiding? I asked why no cameras and they said that they allow all breeds. Do they not want someone freaking out because they see a pitbull on camera? That sounds like a ridiculous answer. Why don't you just say it's to cover your butt from liability issues - at least that's honest. Combine that with the pungent urine ammonia smell, the fact you cant tour the facility or see the conditions in which your dog is staying while they are not with you, and its just too many red flags for me. I'm going to try some other day care places. I'm kind bummed because otherwise I really like the convenience of the hours and everything else about the place. I don't know if there's decomposing urine trapped in the walls or under the flooring, but they really need to find the source, cut it out and remove it, and then waterproof it so urine cant soak through and get trapped to decompose like this again. It can't be healthy for the respiratory system of the people that work there, let alone for the dogs! RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE: I checked my phone logs and it jogged my memory - I did receive a response to my voicemail, therefore I updated my review and clarified a few things. 1, 2 or even 3 hour delay in a return call is ok - taking that many hours tells me you were over booked or under staffed. According to reviews, the smell issue has been going on for several years, and you give the same answer to everyone who comments on it - I guess you're in no hurry to solve it. I have since used another doggy daycare, and can confirm this smell is not normal. Remote access live feeds with multiple high resolution cameras cost about $5000 max and shouldn't raise your costs if you host it on your own server. For transparency, you should consider one and it would negate the need for facility tours. A recorded virtual tour is pointless because the things people want to see are not shown, such as how truly clean it is, how many dogs are there on any given day, staff-per-dog ratio, etc. This would be solved with a live feed camera.

I'll cut right to the chase before the longer review. We all love our dogs. We're protective of them. When we can't be the ones to care for them, we need someone who we can trust. That's not easy! Trust is definitely earned when it comes to the lives of our pups. This place is 100% my go to, trusted dog day care in San Diego. Fair pricing, great package options, and most importantly, Coral LOVES going here. She always walks out exhausted but happy and gets excited to walk back in for her next stay. I recently moved to San Diego and have to travel for work occasionally and needed a dog day care/sitter. I was fortunate to find 24 Hour Dog Daycare! Coral is a 1.5 year old pup with ALL the energy and loves socialization from humans and other dogs. She has such a good time here and gets really excited to walk into the building (a good sign that she genuinely enjoys her time there). They have at least one person on watch at all times to ensure no puppy fights break out and ensure the pups are well taken care of. I love the Report Card feature they use in which they send you a daily update on 1) how the pup is doing, 2) how they are interacting with the other dogs and humans, 3) if they've eaten, drank, and gone potty, and 4) PICTURES! I love the pictures. You have the option to do a social stay or private stay. Coral is really well socialized and thrives in a pack so I've always opted for social where she gets to play with other pups all day. You can also leave your pup with their food or choose to use the daycare provided food at a small cost per meal. I love how tired Coral always comes home. She obviously loves it and I love it for her. For as long as I am in San Diego, this is the only place Coral is going!

The staff is awesome. I take my golden doodle Bella To the doggy day care off Miramar road. Bella is not much of a people dog, Fact she could pretty much do without most people but she loves dogs. The staff has been so patient with her that she has warmed up to each and every one of them. When I drop her off in the morning she jumps out of the truck walks in greets them and can't wait to go back and play. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone whether it's for the day or their overnight doggy slumber parties. They take great care of your pooch as if it was their own.

We are so happy to have found Sunny Pets to care for our dog! We were hesitant to board our dog because we didn't want him to feel like he was going back to the shelter, so the home environment that Sunny Pets provides is perfect. We've relied on Jon / Sunny Pets multiple times in the past couple years for our dogsitting needs. Our four-year-old labradoodle has stayed with Jon overnight multiple times and has gone to the occasional park play as well. We appreciate Jon's reasonable and straight-forward pricing, especially his new online booking system! But our dog loves the attention Jon gives him during his stays and all the park and fetch visits!

Jon and Sunny Pets are INCREDIBLE!!! Our Bailey has the best time ever when we have to overnight her for several days here. Jon is constantly sharing updates on Instagram with the activities our pet is doing plus showing us all the new friends she makes during her stay. Once you put in a request for your pet's stay - Jon sends a full breakdown of the price for everything (weekday rate, weekend, holiday, etc.) Nothing is hidden from you and you don't pay until you have a chance to review the full stay of your pet. I can't thank Jon enough for every time Bailey gets to stay and has the time of her life!

I text Jon whenever I need someone to watch my dog for a full day or over night. She is a high energy, smart/stubborn husky mix, and he does great with her. She likes to play with his dogs Ryker and Yuly, and is always excited to see Jon and them. He picks her up from my house and takes her to the park, and uploads some video clips to instagram so I can see how good a time she's having. She always comes home tired, which is good. Jon is super responsive via text. I'd highly recommend Sunny Pets.

Dr. Boyd’s overnight boarding has been a lifesaver for me when I have to go out of town. My dog has severe separation anxiety but he is always willing to go into Dr. Boyd’s and walks away happily. I love the updates I receive and they also take photos during the day (see attached). My pup loves Dr. Boyd’s and i’m so thankful we found this place. The pricing is fair and your dog will be kept safe!

We had a wonderful experience with our stay at Dr Boyd's. They were very accommodating and got out little Lady in on very short notice. The techs were good with handling her separation anxiety. A very small down side is the very very saturated urine smell in the reception area if you have a highly sensitive nose wear a mask inside and you will be fine. Otherwise for our vacation stay this was such a great way to assure our pup was safe and cared for on the days we had activities planned she couldn't be allowed entry.

Our Mr. Dugan has been cared for by Dr. Boyd's wonderful staff for several years now. We are comfortable boarding him at Dr. Boyd's because we trust the staff to love and care for him just like we do. Thank-you.

Enjoyed their friendly staff. They explained everything in detail and were very patient in answering my questions. It is hard to find a good boarding facility when you are from out of state, but Dr. Boyd's exceeded our expectations. I liked Dr. Boyd's because of their high standards and because they made decisions that were the best for our dogs based on the information we gave them both before drop off and during drop off. My dogs were happy to go back for the next day. We would be happy to use them again.

I am so happy with tbe services provided here to my pups in both the daycare setting and a recent vet visit I needed for my dog. The vet stayed to see my dog again when his labs came back with some discrepancies. She and the staff took their time and calmed my dog who is usually not comfortable at the vet or doggie daycares. Whenever I have questions management is quick to resond. I will continue to take my pups here for both their veterinary and doggie daycare needs. Thank you to all of the staff and management at Dr. Boyd's for taking such good care of my pups!

My husband and I were walking our dogs tonight & we happen to walk right by the Dr. Boyd's Veterinary Resort. When we walked by the windows, we could see very clearly, a small doggy inside a TINY kennel pacing in circles over and over and over. He seemed really stressed out and he was completely ALONE in that entire room. We stood there and watched for a while to see if anybody would come check on him or give him some kind of attention. Nobody. Nothing at all. We continued on our walk up the road and about an hour or more later came back by the vet resort and looked inside to see that poor little dog still going in circles. Stood there again for a while to see if anybody came to visit him and still nobody showed up. We felt so bad for him. I feel like this place stating it was a 'playcation' was totally misleading. The kennel was incredibly small (even though he was a little guy) and he was completely alone and very stressed out. I'm not 100% familiar with places like this for pets, but my husband and I both felt that this situation wasn't right for that poor little doggy. I would never trust another person to care for my babies properly, especially people we don't even know. I wanted so badly to go in there and save this lil' guy and love him! Great boarding experience! We have a pup who is not great with other dogs and needs a solitary stay without any group play times. They take great precautions to ensure he is still well cared for and safe. The employees are always nice and friendly at the front.

Dr Boyd’s is fantastic the staff is incredible, and the Vet is top notch, she has lots of knowledge to help you at any stage of your pet! They Day Care is very flexible and so kind with our Emmitt, highly recommend

Poor quality. Management and cleanliness is poor quality. Pee and poop on dogs constantly. Lack of interaction with dogs and cleanliness is lacking. Daycare rooms are very small which gives anxiety to dogs. Overall not goin back to a place that has poor hygiene and management. Manager, Madison was very unprofessional on how she deals with situations. Time to kick bad to the curb. Place is falling apart.

$100,000-$150,000. This is the amount of money that Dr. Boyd’s Pet Resort is losing per my calculations of how much I would have been using their daycare services throughout my dog’s 15 year lifespan. The problem is that the dogs are socialized, but a lot of the staff are not. It is important to treat the human customers, pardon the expression, not like animals. I find some of the staff to be militant, defensive, unfriendly, and uncaring. Not a great trait for people taking care of your fur kids. I am not implying that all of the employees share these traits, but the number that do is disproportionately high. On three occasions, I voiced to staff that I was running late and needed to get my dog as soon as possible. I learned very fast they don’t care. On one occasion I was told that I needed to manage my time better. Since I always dropped off my dog and picked him up in a timely manner, 99% of the time, that was a pretty insensitive and nasty statement. Things happen. To all of us. So if the employee reads this, she needs to know that she could have handled the situation much better. In another case, I brought my dog in and someone else was right behind me in line. No one was there and then an employee walked out of the bathroom. She wanted to know who was first. I told her I was first. She felt the need to defend herself by saying she was in the bathroom and did not know who was there first. While she was going on and on, a cheerful employee came out and took the dog from the owner behind me. My dog was so excited to see this employee and just lit up and all she did is scowl at him. That speaks volumes as far as I am concerned. I was told that if I need to pick up my dog at a certain time, to call and give advance notice. I did just that and still had to wait 10 minutes. When I tried to talk to an employee, she brushed me off by snapping “ I’m helping someone else right now.” No eye contact. No social skills. So why did I mention the loss of $100,000-$150,000? My dog is now going to a wonderful day care, literally five stars when you check the reviews. Now, both me and my dog are as happy as we can be, and disrespect is a thing of the past. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays, so I have kept Dr. Boyd’s Pet Resort as a fallback when I have no other choice. I would have left in a heartbeat, but they are close to my house and open 24/7. The reason I gave them two stars, and some of the employees truly adore my dog. I just received feedback from management. When I read the feedback really closely, it was not an attempt to make a situation better. Conversely, it was defensive and arguably was excusing bad social skills on the part of staff. Make no mistake, the manager was basically telling me what I needed to do to help the staff out. There was nothing leaned from that reply that I do not know already, and have waited patiently virtually every time I am there, except for the RARE times something was really urgent or emergent. I am 100% certain that even on my easiest day at work I am busier than any daycare staff on their worst day, and yes this statement is a fact. But I don’t treat people poorly because I am busy. There are no excuses.
