I am constantly changing my schedule; adding and subtracting days during the week...they are superb at keeping track of your needs and your dogs' needs. They are also great communicators...if anything is wrong (dog seems sick, dog limps during a walk, etc.) they always let me know. It's so great for us dog owners who can't be at home all the time to know that we have someone we can count on to keep our dogs happy and healthy in our absence.

We have been boarding our dog with Justine with 2 years. She is very trustworthy and reliable. She takes good care of our little guy and he always comes home happy.

Justine has been helping us with dog walking & boarding services for about 2.5 years. She has been 100% reliable with mid-day dog walks; Justine was even coming twice a day during the puppy stage. She has a beautiful home with a large fenced in yard where she boards the dogs. My dog (Abby) has stayed more nights than I can count and she always comes home happy! Abby gets plenty of exercise and time with other dogs while she’s there; I never have to worry about her. Besides that, Justine is flexible with scheduling and has always been able to meet our needs or even last minute requests. She is a true animal lover at heart and cares for the dogs like her own. Justine has even coached us through some challenging behaviors our dog exhibited. I am so grateful to have a knowledgeable, loving, and dependable resource like Justine!

I have been using whiskers since 2019 and they never disappoint. Barb and Liz are angels, really. They work so hard about making sure we always have the same sitter (they’ve even adjusted schedules around more than once to ensure this happens). Our dogs are always so happy and perfect when we return. I trust these ladies immensely. It makes leaving these sweet babies just a little bit easier knowing they are in such good Hands.

Whiskers has done an amazing job with our dog, Lucia! Our pup has significant 'stranger danger', and barks a lot at new people. So it takes a patient and determined dog walker to work their way into Lucia's circle, and we really needed help during work hours and for vacations. Lucia has very much 'cozied up' to two of Whiskers dog walkers, because they are loving, kind, and patient people. We have been Whisker clients for many years and are very pleased with the care, reliability, availability, professionalism of this service. Barb and Liz are wonderful! They are like family to us. When we are away, we can relax knowing that our doggie is in their kind, loving, responsible care.

I never write reviews but I felt the need after my experience with Whiskers. My dog has a stomach issue and requires meds 3 times a day. Before his stomach issues we always used a local dog sitter who would take dogs into his own home. Since then we have only used sitters who can sit at our house. We had a 15 day trip scheduled for September and found out 4 months before the trip that our regular sitter would be unavailable. We started researching new sitters immediately . As I am sure you know, it's not easy finding someone to trust to stay with your pet and home. Our vet recommended Whiskers and 2 other sitters. We met with the Whiskers owner (Liz) twice. Once alone and once to introduce use to the sitter she was assigning to our dog/home. For some reason she said it would be an issue to have the same sitter for all 15 days (we did not want multiple sitters - tried it once and it was a mess). Eventually we were introduced to someone who could commit to all 15 days. During this meeting we asked for references for the actual sitter. Liz seemed upset by this. She wanted to provide a reference to her company only. I wanted a phone number to speak to someone who had used the sitter she was assigning to our dog. Liz said she would get back to me. We also asked for the sitter's phone number so we would tell him when there was a package coming and to ask for an occasional photo of our dog. Liz said no - all communication would have to go through her. I reminded her that we would be in a time zone 7 hours ahead and that we needed direct communication. Again, Liz would think about it. 3 days after the meeting (4 weeks before we were leaving from our trip) we received an email from Liz saying we were not the right fit. We emailed back and called. She would not speak to us. No more contact. How could you do this to anyone? It took us months to find and agree on Whiskers. What a horrible experience. I can't remember the last time I was so upset by something a vendor did to me. The only thing I can think of is we were fired because we asked for a reference and a mobile number. I would never ever recommend a company that treats people this way. ZERO STARS!

I have used Whiskers Pet sitting for over 5 years with 2 of my adopted greyhounds. They are the absolute best. They are honest, reliable, and compassionate. I worked 12 hour shifts in a New York Hospital and was completely at ease knowing they were always there no matter what. Whiskers Pet Sitters have been the most responsive and dependable pet sitters for our 4 furry children. They are a big part of the family. We had to move 2 years ago from MA to CT and one my biggest concerns was how are we going to find a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. We tried a few but none of them we could count on long term. I then tried the owners at Whiskers and they have been nothing but fabulous these last 2 years. My wife and I travel for work often and take extended vacations and my pets are well cared for! I get pictures twice a day from them and they also do other things if needed, like getting my mail, watering my Christmas tree, basically anything I have asked of them, they have done. If your pets are as important to you as ours are to us then you should give Whiskers a try.

I love this facility, it is my favorite place to bring my dog. They are clean, the staff is friendly, they are dog people! Wag Central is not a place you want to go when dogtopia is around!

My angel Limão loves Dogtopia. He unfortunately had surgery after shattering his leg, but he was still able to socialize safely at Dogtopia (the workers put him and another small dog separated in a pen to avoid him from getting trampled by bigger dogs). He is a small guy but he loves his friends at dogtopia!

The staff are very kind and attentive! Always willing to answer questions, provide support and show my pup all the love and always remember his name. They also provide clean and organized services :)

Recently enrolled our 11yo Fox Terrier at Dogtopia in Shelton. This is a big step for us. He's a really good dog, little with a big attitude, bark, and sometimes painfully anxious. Dogtopia is very clean & spacious while staff is friendly & knowledgeable. We have another puppy at home but hoping this helps curb his anxiety!

Dogtopia of Shelton is a great place for your fur babies to stay for the day or an extended stay! The staff is friendly & knowledgeable and their rates are super affordable! Buster loves joining his friends at Dogtopia and always has a great time!

We were in the area just visiting and my dog needed to be groomed. I took him in without an appointment, they were able to see him and it was all very quick. My dog came back clean, smelling great and looking good. The team was very nice and gave my dog—who is very shy and a little skittish at times—feel at ease and comfortable. I am so glad that I found Destiny! One of my dogs is very anxious and she handles her so well. She sends me pictures and updates about the dogs every day. She also is super responsive and flexible with drop off and pick up times for me which I appreciate so much. Destiny has been wonderful and our Trixie loves going to visit! She's got a great set up in the back yard and will share posts or pics of your puppers throughout his or her stay. We've used her for boarding services a few times in the past year and she's always been accommodating. Destiny is wonderful to work with and I would recommend her to anyone in the area!

I was so nervous to put my puppy in daycare, and I wasn't sure how I could trust someone else with her. But once we met Destiny, I knew she would take such good care of my baby! Destiny is so professional, reliable, trustworthy, extremely responsive and communicative, and most importantly she loves my puppy so much. Mia lights up when she sees Destiny, and it makes me so happy! I work a very demanding schedule, so I don't get to socialize my girl, and I can't really get her outside to play, so the days that Mia is at Destiny's Daycare are perfect! She has so much fun playing with all her friends, gets all her energy out, and comes home happy and exhausted! I 1,000% recommend Destiny's Dog Daycare/Boarding! Wouldn't trust anyone else. 🙂

Destiny is so phenomenal with our two dogs! They love going to see her and they both freak out with excitement whenever we pull on her street. Over Thanksgiving I had to board my 4 year old German shepherd for the very first time. Destiny did a meet and greet with us and explained everything in detail and made me feel comfortable trusting her with my fur baby. I am so grateful I found Destiny. Madison LOVES going there, whether for the day or overnight. Destiny provides plenty of fun and exercise. When I pick Maddie up, she sleeps the entire way home and most of the following day! As they say, “a tired dog is a happy dog” I love my dog and we spend most of our time together. We had a terrific experience today with Destiny Dog Daycare. Last minute need to be in Connecticut from Long Island and day boarding for our Mini Golden Doodle. I had to fly last minute and I was so happy to quickly get my dog set up for boarding With Destiny's Dog Daycare/Boarding. He (my dog)absolutely loved it, and I loved being able to see pictures of him while I traveled. And Destiny was so kind and helpful.

We love Camp Bow Wow! Dante and Myka love coming here! The staff is phenomenal and it's clear the staff really love the dogs! We always trust that they will follow our instructions during boarding. It's always easy to get in touch with someone if we have a question or need to check in on our pups. The facility is super clean!! We've used many other daycare facilities in the area and we've always had issues. We've been using Camp Bow Wow for just over a year now and it's been great since day one!

Sending our dog to Camp Bow Wow for daycare and boarding while we are away has been one of the best decisions we have made for his care. Everyone we spoke to and encountered there was so helpful. Booking his time is so easy on the app and the staff was great at answering our questions. They also sent me a text to confirm pick up time from boarding to properly schedule his bath which was a very nice touch. We are really happy & will def keep sending our pup to camp!

My fur baby Taquito, aka Taco, is an extremely social dog who needs constant interaction. He enjoys Camp Bow Wow so much. Both our boys, Bear and Banjo love camp! The greeting they receive when we walk in the doors will put a smile on your face. I know that they are in good hands. I can check on them at any time of the day on the live cameras. The amount of hugs and belly rubs they get from the counselors shows me how much they care. The socialization with other dogs is great. They come home exhausted.

I boarded my dog Rainy for a day and since she has an abusive background, I had quite a few requests for Camp Bow Wow & the staff was so understanding of these requests. I can see that everyone cares deeply about their jobs, especially Alyssa & Victor who were so helpful when I called to check on Rainy! I always worry about leaving my baby girl because she’s so shy and takes time to warm up to people; however, Camp Bow Wow made me feel so comfortable about leaving her and knowing she’ll be well taken care of! I will be boarding her more often 🙂🙂 Thank you again for taking care of her and adhering to all my requests!

Amazing place! I was so nervous to drop off my super nervous rescue dog but he had an absolute blast and seemed excited to go to the daycare! The staff are experienced, kind and helpful and seem to be so good with the dogs!

Staff is always courteous and responsive, willing to work with "campers" families. My son was nervous about leaving "his" dog for we could go on our first ever family vacation; Staff knowing this sent updates and pictures of Coco while we were away helping to alleviate my sons worries.

Camp Bow Wow in Bridgeport has truly been a home away from home for our pup. The care they provide is exceptional, and it's clear that they genuinely love what they do. Donna was a God-send!!! Our German Shepherd, Barkley, who usually barks when people come to the house, was put at ease by Donna’s gift with animals. He came around so beautifully due to her calm demeanor, kindness, and treats :), and he knew right away she was the leader. His brother, Peanut, took to her immediately as well, and we were able to go on a four-day vacation with complete comfort and confidence that everything was OK at home. We are so grateful to Donna and are awe of her remarkable ability to understand what the animals need, and in turn, provides excellent, emotional and physical care for both animal and the owner! We were lucky to find Donna! She provides very thorough care and is very detailed in her approach. She "interviewed" us and our pets, Blake (dog) and Holly (cat), before our trip to learn their routine. She sent us texts while we were away to keep us up to date with pictures showing how our pets adapted to our absence. Donna really catered to our pet's personalities and quirks!

Donna and her husband have been watching my two cats over the past year and between me and my two little ladies we could never ask for a better pet sitter! Donna is so warm towards my ladies and while I am away, she ensures each day she cares for them I get a thorough update. If i could give her more stars i would. As a newlyweds just starting out, we were on the fence about getting a pet sitter or even if we could afford one. On our wedding day, our cat got very sick. Had we not taken the leap and hired Bed and Biscuits. Our Cat would have died the very day, in a matter of hours says the vet. Donna saved our cat. She goes above and beyond for her clients, making sure they’re comfortable. Introducing different techniques and even taking picture of food option at the local pet store, when we were away. For our joseph who is now on a special diet.

If you want to KNOW your animals are loved and well cared for in your absence, then you should absolutely use the services of Chuck and Donna. We never went anywhere without bringing our dogs with us because I couldn't imagine leaving them with someone. That all changed when we met Chuck and Donna. My girls get SOOOO excited when they come. I get text msgs after the visit and I can tell you first hand, they will treat your babies with the love you want them to have. The freedom they've provided for our family is incredible. I will recommend them over and over again.

Josh and his team are amazing with our two dogs Mona and Sparky. They are both rescues with difficult behaviors. Josh was the only dog-walker that was willing to take on the challenge and help us to walk our pups. After one year we can’t be more happy with the teams service.

Woodbridge Pet Sitting has been caring for our pets (and house) for the past 10 years. They are extremely reliable and go above and beyond (including driving to our house at 4 am to meet the fire department when a faulty smoke detector set off a false alarm). We had 2 senior cats with special needs and a cockatiel, given very good care by WBPS. After those beloved pets passed, WBPS has been visiting our 2 cats since their kitten hood whenever we are away. Our house is isolated and gets a lot of snow and ice, WBPS always comes thru for us. We never have to worry when we are on vacation. Wood Bridge Pet Sitting is the best!

Erica has been caring for my pup Cleo for over two years now and is just the best. She's reliable, professional, and goes above and beyond to try and accommodate even last-minute requests. Erica is very attentive and always lets me know if something seems off with my dog (stomach issues, etc.). She also gives recommendations without being asked, which I appreciate given her extensive expertise. Cleo absolutely loves her too!

Erica is fantastic and a life saver! We were fortunate to recently adopt a 2 1/2 year old bulldog, Maisie. She had been in a shelter for over six months, so she is still a bit skittish around new people. Maisie has adjusted well in our home, but we had two long planned trips that we hadn't thought about, that's when Erica saved the day! She was able to come to our home and care for Maisie while we were away. Maisie loves her walks with Erica! Knowing Erica was taking good care of her reduced our anxiety about being away for Maisie.

My dogs have unique care requirements. Erica didn't miss a beat and took wonderful care of our two dogs. We will continue to use them for every vacation. Editing to update post. Erica continues to provide wonderful care for our two Jack Russells.

Erica is amazing and I’m so glad I found her! She takes such good care of our boy Baxter. We have had Bax there for day care and more recently for overnights and for the first time I am not worried about him while we are away! She posts pics and sends updates which we love and he gets so excited when we pull down the street. That is the ultimate test and compliment in my eyes. He truly loves being there. Erica is a wonderful pet sitter! She takes excellent care of our two kitties, who hate to leave the house so Erica visits them in our home. One of our kitties is very social and the other is very shy, and Erica makes extra effort to connect with the shy kitty, being sure to leave treats and catnip where she will get them. She sends pictures (and sometimes video) of both kitties, and checks in regularly by text to let us know she’s been in and how the kitties are doing. Erica has been caring for our kitties for about a year and we feel totally at ease knowing they are under her care while we’re away. We are so glad to have found her!

This was the first time we ever left the care of our 3 cats to a “stranger”. Erica came over, met all of us, took notes, and was friendly, yet professional. Two of our cats require medication, one of which is medicated every 12 hours and is clever at hiding. This was no problem for Erica! Erica was great at keeping in touch with me over the week sending photos & updates. She also responded quickly to my texts with questions & changes. Upon return our home felt normal, as if we never left. Although there was some grumbling amongst the felines inquiring as to what I did with Erica! Cats! 😺

I'm so happy that we used Scratch 'N Sniff while we went away on vacation. Our dog has a lot of anxiety and taking him with us wasn't an option for this trip. Erica was super accommodating. She was able to make visits to our house so Rocky would be comfortable in his normal environment. She was able to give him his medication, which typically is difficult with him. We were given frequent updates and pictures to make sure we were at ease and knew he was doing well. She even brought in our mail and watered our flowers for us. We will definitely be using this pet service for any trips we take in the future.

My dog Pegasus went in for a hair cut. He was happy. Prices were great. Will go again :-)

Needed to board my dog last minute, I had a terrible family emergency. The people there could not have been more helpful and kind. They were able to accommodate our dog, wasn't during the typical busy boarding time. They took excellent care of my little guy. He came home with all his belongings that I left with him and he smelled like my pup not a kennel. He did need little special care during feeding time. He's a picky eater and not being in his normal surroundings doesn't want to eat. The staff was prepared to work with him and did excellent job. Very clean both inside and out in yard. Both the drop off/pick up office and kennel area looked clean and smelled good. Great prices too. Could ask for a better experience. Thank you and Fred will see y'all again.

This kennel is clean! They offer a trial playtime to get your dog familiar with the place. Our dog came home in great shape and was excited when we brought him back for his boarding days. Again, he was happy and healthy when we picked him up. The staff is truly caring and are happy to receive calls when we checked in. We recommend this kennel.

Ansonia Silver Hill Pet Resort has taken such very good care of our pampered English Bulldog Bubba, to the point that he didn't want to leave when we'd go to pic him up. They groomed and boarded him, administering his meds and prescription food for most of his 12.5 years of life. Pat Marin even sent out her search team when I called her to let her know that Bubba, after a two week recouperation, made a break for freedom into the wooded hillside. Pat even came to our house to show how to and then remove a tick from Bubba. They have gone above and beyond right up until Bubba passed in April 2020. We will forever be grateful for the love and care they gave to our beloved Bubba.

I called this place to bring my dog in and the person who picked up was extremely rude. I was told they are not taking any new pets and he slammed the phone aa I waa speaking..good service needs to be provided all around.

Hira had an amazing first day at Bark Avenue! Audrey at the desk was amazing answering our questions and assuring us our puppy was having a great first day when we called and at pickup! They were amazing in answering any questions that were asked and she even sent us a photo to confirm our dog was having a blast! 🐾We cant wait to come back for another play day for doggy daycare again!

We love Bark Avenue & more importantly our dog, Newman does too! The facility is very clean, staff is very friendly & helpful. Newman is kept very busy during the day and has a blast. Bark Avenue is by far the best day care for your cat. 🐈‍⬛. Staff were awesome. We left our little boy Oliver for 7 days and left feeling so calm knowing he was getting the best care ever. I love bringing my dog here whenever we are away. ESPECIALLY love that there is a person there overnight unlike a lot of boarding/kennels/daycare centers. MaryBeth is absolutely wonderful with all pets especially rescues.

My husband and I bring our dog Ollie here. We LOVE Bark Ave! They’re so nice, easy to work with, and truly love animals! Ollie loves going to daycare and staying overnight! The Staff is extremely nice and welcoming. Fair prices. Video feed available to watch the dogs in live time. My dog gets extremely excited when we pull up which tells me all I need to know.
