Skye has just had a two week stay at brookfields. She has been before and always goes in wagging her tail. All the staff are very friendly and show her lots of love. During my holiday brookfields posted lots of photos which was very reassuring. I missed her a lot and she definitely missed me but I know she had a great time . Thank you to the whole team. I wouldn't leave her anywhere else😊🥰

Our dog Brie has just spent four fabulous days at Brookfields while we were away at a family wedding. She has never been in kennels before but we are so impressed with the facilities and the lovely staff, she has been really well looked after and has made some new doggie friends. Would highly recommend and we wouldn’t hesitate putting Brie in Brookfields again.

Lily has been boarding at Brookfields since she was 8 months old, she’s now nearly 4! She now goes every week for a couple of nights and she’s treated like one of the family! Lily suffers from Inflammatory Bowel disease and we trust Julie and her staff to look after her, feed her correctly and they have even taken her to the vets in the past when we’ve been away! She has real fun with the other dogs and plenty of exercise! I would definitely recommend Brookfields as 5 star quality care!!!

Enjoyed our break so much more, confident that our young dog Tilly would receive high quality, secure care in our absence. She was her normal happy self immediately on our return (which previously had not always been our experience) and we feel this shows that she had been content and relaxed. We thought our holidays would be very limited now that we are dog owners, but will have no hesitation in leaving her in safe, capable hands at Brookfields again. Many thanks.

Can't thank Brookfields and the staff enough First time we had ever left our boy Ferguson, but we needn't have worried. He was happy and healthy when we collected him, we received videos and photos throughout our holiday which reassured us. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone who loves their dog and hates leaving them. They will have a great time.

Brookfields took great care of our miniature dachshund x Jack Russell, Eddie. They sent us lovely photos throughout his stay and he came home tired from all of the fun. The kennels are a good size and the staff are fabulous, they clearly really love dogs. Can't recommend highly enough.

I was so pleased to have had a personal recommendation and Brookfields Luxury Boarding didn't disappoint. Jimi, my energetic, playful Border collie had an amazing time and I felt so reassured from seeing first hand how much love and attention all dogs in your care receive. It looks a fun place to be, all the time! Jimi loved it, always smiling, jumping about, stick gathering and chasing around with new play buddies. I missed him so much but knew he was in the greatest hands. I paid extra for some woodland walks and photo/video coverage which was absolutely worth it to check-in regularly and see how he was getting on. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Brookfields to anyone feeling anxious about leaving their dog in kennels - this really is a home from home experience. I'm pretty sure Jimi is missing his new human friends already! In fact his second stay is already booked! 🙂

Mine and my daughter's dogs have never stayed in kennels before, but with all family at my daughter's wedding this week, we needed somewhere close by to the venue who were able to take care of them. They had a fabulous time! Thank you so much Brookfield's team, they took all of their familiar bedding and towels, snacks, food and medicine and settled in as soon as they arrived. They had lovely walks, rooms and plenty of photos/ videos on both days, then came back exhausted ( in a good way 🙂). Would definitely recommend this for a doggie break, one of ours is a little grouchy 11 year old, who needs care and consideration/ meds, but he and his much younger buddy both really enjoyed their days here

We always have a warm welcome at Brookfields and our Cavachon Mimi trots off happily each time and comes home happy. The girls are great with her and we will always recommend Brookfields. What we do appreciate are the lovely photos they take of the dogs and it’s reassuring to see them whilst we’re away.

We have used these kennels numerous times and always received a great service. Both our two spaniels Poppy and Bertie are happy to go and enjoy their stay. If you abide by the requirements and ensure vaccinations are up to date you can’t go wrong here! Thank you to all the staff

Just before I was due to go on holiday I had to take my dog to the vets. He was booked into MillGreen Kennels, They put me at ease straight away, gave him his medication and kept an eye on his affected area. Thankyou for looking after and taking care of my old boy❤️ Jo & Jake

First time our 5 cockapoo’s stayed in kennels so of course we was nervous about leaving them but Mill Green was so understanding. Was allowed to come and view the kennels before hand and ask questions, nothing was rushed and staff was happy to answer any questions we had. All staff was very helpful and friendly. Dogs came out very happy and seemed like they enjoyed their stay. One of the dogs normally doesn’t like people but got on with staff well. Will definitely be using the kennels again.

Just collected our Pomeranian Minnie from her first week stay here. She’s usually a bit anxious but Minnie was very happy and seemed very content. Obviously been having plenty of fuss from staff here. Will definitely be recommending and using again. Thank you 😊

Lovely and personal doggy day care set up. Daphne (our dog) gets very excited when we drop her off and the photos we get of the day shows how much she loves it there with her dog friends. Vernon runs the business very well, communication is excellent, paperwork is all in check and he ensures that he has the right type of dogs there too - so we have never had any problems in 6 months of sending Daphne there.

Great punctual professionalism delivered with a genuine passion for care and safety for your pup. Vernon provides a fantastic service, which we are regular returning customers of. Vernon has such passion for dog care, which is evident in his knowledge and experience. Our puppy Reggie has felt reassured, relaxed, and grown in such confidence in socialising since attending. We look forward to our daily updates of what our puppy has been up to throughout the day - which is documented in fun lovely photos and commentary in their Service Reports. Very comfortable with leaving our fur baby in his care! It’s his home away from home. He always runs to their door keen to commence his exciting day with his new best friends. Our pup has been going to daycare twice a week for a number of months now. He gets so excited when he realises he’s going in the mornings and when Vernon arrives to collect him. I can tell he’s in completely safe hands in their care and the experience has honestly been faultless, there’s no where else I would trust sending our pup. He’s really benefited from regularly socialising with other dogs and we can see from the pictures on the daily emailed reports, he has the time of his life there, always has his happy face on. Vernon shows a clear passion for dogs and is highly knowledgeable in providing the best care for them. It’s a home away from home and has exceeded all expectations. Worth every penny!!!

My little Dachshund has been going to Vernon and Jen at Doggy Daycare for a couple of months now and I cannot fault the excellent care that they have provided for her. She settled in straight away and it has helped her social skills and separation anxiety massively! Vernon and Jen have been really accommodating and put my mind at ease straight away, keeping me up to date with how she gets on and I always look forward to the photos and daily reports that they send at the end of the day ☺️. I would fully recommend their care at My Best Friend Daycare, they have been great and my pup is definitely a happy little thing when she gets home from her days spent with them and the other dogs.

Vernon is excellent, I highly recommend My Best Friend Dog Care. Our Labrador loves going out for walks with Vernon and all his doggy friends. We feel very lucky to have found such a diligent and professional person who we can trust to look after our dog. The communication after the walks is brilliant.

My puppy had her first experience of day care with Vernon at My Best Friend last week. Before she went we had a meet and greet session with the opportunity to ask any questions and look at the day care facilities. Vernon is knowledgeable and experienced in dog care and behaviour and made sure our puppy was happy with the other dogs and vice versa. When we left her there last week she was relaxed and happy to stay without a second glance and very relaxed when we picked her up. Vernon sent photos during the day and a little report with more photos the next day. Overall a great experience for us and our puppy. We've booked another session and would highly recommend to other dog owners.

My Dachshund has been going to My Best Friend Burntwood for Daycare for some time but has recently stayed with Vernon and Jen for her “holidays” whilst we were away. She went on lots of walks to different places and loved playing with her doggy pals in their awesome new garden. We got updates and photos everyday so we knew she was in safe hands and we could relax. Safe to say she loved it! (I think she’s missing them today 🤣 ) Thank You Vernon and Jen :)

Vernon clearly has a love and passion for animals. From the moment he met our little pup he was kind and patient (as she can be a little nervous). Her confidence has come on leaps and bounds since going on dog walks with Vernon and her little pals and we know for certain she is in safe hands and having a wonderful time! Couldn’t recommend Vernon highly enough if you want someone to walk or look after your precious pup!

I would highly recommend My Best Friend Dog Care, a very friendly, caring and professional service. Vernon and Jen are so committed and passionate and they really do offer a home from home environment. Our pup Luna can be very nervous but Vernon and Jen have really gone out of their way to ensure Luna feels comfortable, working with Luna at her own pace she has the best time! After only four visits I can really see a huge difference in Luna’s behaviour and positive progress. We are updated with photographs, videos and a fabulous service report at the end of the day which is so lovely to read and is something I look forward to receiving. Vernon and Jen really do go above and beyond all expectations and we are so thankful Luna has been lucky enough to secure a place with them. Thank you Vernon and Jen 😃

Cannot recommend My Best Friend Dog Care Burntwood enough! I was stuck for cover for my pup and Vernon was able to help out last minute with dog walking. An amazing service and so attentive to any of your pups needs. My 10 month old Bulldog suffers with grass allergies and Vernon was fab with making sure this was watched closely and my pup always came home so happy and can really tell good care was taken of her. A service report with photos and info of the service is also sent afterwards every day and was so lovely seeing my pup having fun and just being able to be kept in the loop with their day. 5 stars always ⭐️

Take our pups here regularly and they always have a great time! Big open space for them to run around without us having to worry about other dogs/people or them running off

So disappointed that they didn't feel the need to respond to my concerns. Used the camp road Upper valley. It was double booked .no water.nails sticking out of boards and screes sticking out of gatepost.hates difficult to use.Had to leave as unsafe .contacted the supplier twice and no response. Luckily the nail just went through side of sons trainers and caught the dog in time.

We recently rented a field at Paw pounders for the first time and I wouldn’t return. The field itself was immaculate and great facilities I cannot fault the place itself however the customer service we experienced was horrendous! We were struggling to find the correct field we had rented so we rang the contact number for some assistance, we were met with a seriously rude man on the phone who seemed extremely angry that we had rang him. So rude and unprofessional, I won’t return which is a shame as the facilities themselves are great!

Have started taking our Dalmatian to Pawpounders - to say he loves it is an understatement. He cannot get enough..! Shout out to the incredibly friendly and professional team who have taken such great care of him with their personal approach getting to know him and his character personally (as well as getting to know us and giving us some amazing advice). He’s has great enrichment/stimulated and well exercised throughout the day resulting in a VERY happy, tired boy when he comes home. The glowing report at the end of day made us so so proud! 🥰♥️

The most unpleasant experience. Made the mistake of leaving one of the gates open (there are 2 gates in case such mistakes happen so no damage done) and the anger vented by the owner (nick?) was off the charts - he should be ashamed. He shouted at me repeatedly to ‘f off, I’m not selling anything to you’ and was on the verge of attacking me - never experienced someone with such poor people skills and clearly not a man enjoying his passion…….. Avoid this place/ thug at all costs. I feel sorry for the staff who have to work for him and worry for the dogs subjected to this rage when owners are out of sight.

Great safe place for your dogs to run free. The majority of owners clean up after the dogs but if you're one of those reading this who doesn't, pawpounders would be better without your dogs left behinds.

My first time booking the lowerfield. Had an email which tell me the passcode to enter the place. Easy to locate and good spacious parking. Secure area all round. Basically you book for the whole field for an hour. My dog enjoys exploring. The lowerfield have plenty of room for her to run around. There are a few sitting table, dog bowls for water and bins for rubbish. The lowerfield have two selections and a small stream. My dog prefer to drink from the stream than clean water. I think the place is great for safe free run. You have the whole field by yourself. You wont need to worry about other dogs etc. I do find a lot of broken tennis balls and dog poos laying around. I have to pick up quite a lot as my silly dog will eat it. Shame that other users never bother to clean up their mess.

As an owner of anxious dogs, who find it difficult to socialise with others (that's the dogs...not me...), this has definitely been a worthwhile visit, and we will be back. Both dogs and humans are able to relax and enjoy some off-leash time.

Great place, secure enough to allow my not so friendly dog to run freely without worrying about other dogs, will definitely visit again.

It's such a shame that I'm writing this but I'm just really disappointed with the service we have received. We have used Little Paws Pets Services for a few years now to feed our cat whilst we are away but there has been two occasions where the team have left our front door unlocked. The first time they did it was last year and my mother in law went round the next day after Little Paws had visited and the front door was wide open. My mother in law was absolutely frightened to death thinking someone was in the house and fortunately for us nothing had been taken. We were renovating our house at the time and the door was a bit dodgy so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We then gave Little Paws a second chance and used them again last week but our carpenter turned up the next day and the front door was unlocked and the house alarm wasn't even turned on. I gave bullet pointed instructions of how to lock the door and a picture of the key fob on how to use the alarm system, yet every single day they were setting the alarms off which was constantly setting our phones off from abroad. I can accept the alarms going off on the first day if you haven't used the system before but what I can't accept is that it happened everyday for 7 days and the negligence of leaving our front door unlocked without the alarm on is just appalling to say the least. Fortunately again for us nothing had been taken but it could well have been and who would have been covering the cost for that? We have put trust in the 'professional' team to ensure our property is locked once they have finished and to only get an apology and 'I'm not sure how it happened' is just a disgrace. I will never use this company again and I would definitely not recommend them to anybody else.

If we could give these amazing people a 10 ⭐️ then we would!!!! We have been using Little Paws for years and 1000% will continue to do so for many more years to come! Absolutely fantastic company…. Friendly, honest and reliable people, who take so much time and care into your pets; we could not be happier! Thank you SO much and look forward to visiting you again very soon! Xx

Picked up my 11year old daughters rabbit which is her baby it’s her best friend. Firstly the lady we left him with was in bed but surely she should of been there to greet us to tell us how he had been?! So we walk in he was falling off his back legs and wobbling,there was nothing in his pen apart from hay and a water bottle which when dropping him off I said he only drinks from a bowl and is fully litter trained then we noticed a mirror in the pen, and again on arrival I said he doesn’t like other rabbits so the poor rabbit had thought there was another rabbit in with him the whole time we were away so had probably be frightened half to death!! So when getting there and saying to the girl what’s wrong with him her response I just thought he was old baring in mind he is 2 my daughter started panicking and crying as her little fur baby was throwing himself on his back almost like he was fitting so in the end she couldn’t even get him in the carrier as Benjamin was frantic ,she scooped him up had held him he did calm down abit and the girl was like isn’t he good for you!! I don’t know any think about animals but even I could see he was wasn’t right as soon as we walked in. The girl just kept saying he will be fine probably just missed you etc I will get the lady who took care of him to message you!!! So we went straight to the vet who kept him all day and said he was extremely frightened and seemed dehydrated I explained about the mirror and she said rabbits don’t recognise there self in the mirror so he would of thought there was another rabbit!! Surely looking after another peoples pets claiming you know about small animals would of know this!! The girl who owns the business seems lovely and I think she used to do the small animals but now does the dogs and cats and her mom is left with small animals, we asked for a outside house with a run as he likes to go out but she said there wasn’t any ready!! But would move him did she NO!! So to cut a long story short basically a lovely relaxing holiday was ruined as I felt stressed the minute we got back! I asked for my money back to which there response they don’t feel it’s there fault.. and they didn’t neglect him. So would never trust anyone again!!

We used little paws when we first moved to the Sutton Coldfild area. It appeared they offered a professional dog walking service and we therefore didn’t mind paying a bit more than other dog walkers in the area. I no longer use their services. We noticed that on a several occasions our dog was out of the house for less than an hour (we could see the times in an out of the house from our burglar alarm). This despite us paying for an hour long walk. Given the time it takes to load and unload dogs into a van and drive to the park I can only imagine our dog was receiving a walk that was much less than an hour. Furthermore on one occasion our dog was not walked despite being booked for a walk. Littlepaws also failed to follow our request that the dog is on a harness when on the lead as he pulls which chokes him. Based on these issues- which ultimately results in a break down in trust, we decided to find another dog walker. We have an are very happy with their service. I would have left things there but when we asked for our house key back we then received an invoice for £4 for returning the key. This seemed a real insult and summarised the priority that appears to be on money making over customer/per service. If your looking for a dog walker I’d advise you keep looking there are others in the area that offer a better service.

What can I say, a fantastic family run pet service. Iv used them the last two years for my cat Misty and she has been well looked after everytime, Misty is a very timid cat and they always go the extra mile to make sure she is settled.

Amazing service, lovely people too. So diligent and great with our big Ridgeback dogs. Highly recommended

Wouldn’t leave my dogs anywhere else. About 7yrs ago I turned up & asked to look around as I’d viewed a few places that were not up to standard. Here, I was instantly impressed. I’d not booked & they accommodated my viewing without hesitation. Rooms spacious, half underfloor heated, half cool tiled… separate garden areas & a big play area for recreation time, upvc glass doors… no prison bars. They will cook if your dog has a specific diet, upkeep training routines… provide toys & beds if you forget… there is nothing these people won’t do to accommodate your dogs! Security seemed tight too which was reassuring. We only go away once a year & when I call they always remember who my dogs are as soon as I mention their names, that’s such a nice touch. Love this place! You need to book a year in advance though, if your away during high season times… they get booked up quick!

On the morning of August 5th, I checked in my bullmastiff for an overnight stay. Upon arrival, his health was in excellent condition. When I returned the following morning just before 10 AM to collect him, I noticed he refused his favorite treat, which was highly unusual given his typically strong appetite. As I attempted to load him into the car, he instead moved toward the yard, experiencing a watery bowel movement followed by vomiting. The staff attributed these symptoms to stress. However, upon arriving home, he continued to have two more episodes of watery stools at several-hour intervals. Regrettably, this experience has led us to decide not to return to this hotel in the future.

Our dog Bentley always stays at the Grove,he loves it. The staff are wonderful and caring. I wouldn't leave him anywhere else!

I would give 10 stars in I could. My boy Beau never went anywhere else. He loved his time at the Grove. Sadly we lost Beau earlier this year due to old age. When its time for us to get another best friend I would have no hesitations to let Rob , Linsay and the amazing team look after them.

Our beautiful gentle Leonberger Lola is our pride and joy so before entrusting her to any Doggy Daycare or Boarding hotel I had visited quite a few before we chose The Grove. The location is great, just off the M6 Toll in Lichfield. The kennels are super clean and well set up. The staff are really friendly and genuinely take an interest in the dogs. They looked after Lola and sent me pictures and a video of her while we were away. Their drop off/pick up times are really great and the best thing of all Lola came out of there looking like she'd had a ball!

Our golden retriever, Amber, loves it here. She is only 18 months old. She had a stay for one day and night as a trial prior to our 2 week holiday. When we returned to drop her for the holiday, she couldn't wait to get through the doors and out to socialise with the other dogs! Staff have kept us up to date whilst we were away and sent pictures of her having such fun with the other pooches. The staff are all fabulous and genuinely care for and enjoy the dog's company. We wouldn't send her anywhere else! Queuing in the foyer, waiting to drop off and pick up your dog, whilst chatting to others, all of the other clients say the same thing. Their dogs have been coming for 10+ years. Need you look anywhere else?!

Phoebe our cocker spaniel had a lovely time here, she gave us a warm welcome when we picked her up. It’s reassuring to know that she was so well looked after.

Can’t fault this kennels enough, small details such as cleaning the bowls out and the lovely photos and updates you receive. We love this lady! I'm sure she loves our cats as much as we do. We can go away with complete confidence that our cats are looked after, fussed and fed as well as when we are home. Rachel goes above and beyond on every visit. We get updates and pictures, dirty bowls are washed and any issues delt with. Even my garden bird feeders are topped up and dying plants rescued. I cannot recommend this lady highly enough.

Lichfield Furry Friend Rachel has been walking my dog for several years as I have a disability. My dog Lulu is always pleased to see Rachel and I know she is safe and well cared for. Rachel is very efficient and professional and kind and I trust her completely.

Rachael has been looking after Smithy for a few months and we could not be more appreciative of her. She accommodates all of our requests, has put extra special care into building up trust with Smithy and always brightens up my day with a quick update on how the visit went. Smithy loves his walks and we are so happy we made the decision to pick Rachael!

Rachael was excellent and so lovely with my cat when we're on holiday in August. She helped us out of a tight spot with very little notice. I got regular updates and photos letting me know how everything was going and followed my instructions to the T! I will definitely use her again and would highly recommend. Thanks so much Rachael.

My 8month old cavapoo Bertie was looked after by Lynda his 1st visit and won't be his last couldn't fault all her help. Knew from very 1st time we met we could trust her with our puppy.

I had a lovely puppy Boarder Mandy Jones who was excellent in providing love and care for our puppy when we went on 8 day holiday . She took efforts to message me and share pics of my puppy on a regular basis which gave me lot of mental peace. She was also very flexible with pick up and drop off times which meant a lot to us. Her 2 dogs gave good company to our puppy and it was evident that she was a dog lover; I strongly recommend her and feel fortunate to find her through this great website.

Can only give 5* have used Lookafteryourdog for over 5 years and would thoroughly recommend them, simple booking process, value for money but more importantly you get to meet the boarder beforehand so you can be sure your dogs are in good hands. The boarder I use is absolutely fantastic and a credit to Steve and the business, they are so popular and have many repeat bookings my dogs love going there - absolutely stress free for me too knowing they are happy and most definitely think it is home from home.

A great way to ensure your beloved canine family member is looked after perfectly within the safe and friendly home of an approved boarder family vetted by this trusted company. Even if fees were more than normal kennel fees... which they aren’t...I would not entrust my Labradoodle Cassie to anyone else. Booking ahead is essential as so many likeminded dog owners are of the same opinion as us.

If you are fortunate enough to get any availability with Selena your dog will have a fantastic time. We have sent Stanley to Rustic Walks six times now and he has a superb time and we get the pictures to prove it!
