I feel so good about leaving my pup at Dog Meadow. They truly care and love each and every dog. My dog cannot wait to get out of the car so she can meet and play with all of her friends. It has been so good for her socialization also.

I am so glad to have found Dog Meadow for my dog, Pike. I was looking for a place where he would have the opportunity to be away from home and socialize with other dogs in a safe and calm environment. Kleber has been amazing with Pike and I feel 100% confident he is well cared for.

What's there to say except Love! We bring our little 14 pound dog at least once a week and he loves it! Toby plays hard with the big dogs and we've always felt he is in good hands. You can tell the dogs are well cared for.

This is not a dog boarding facility...it is a dog RETREAT! I knew Kleber from several years ago when we would take our dogs to the same dog park. When he posted that they started Dog Meadow I was immediately excited about the prospect of having my dog stay with them when we travel. From the pictures on Instagram, it was clear that Kleber and Laura run a great place where dogs enjoy the best that the property can offer and are truly treated as guests. My dog is high energy and loves to run, but can be picky with other dogs and everything worked out well. We were traveling overseas and having our pup at Dog Meadow put our minds at ease. Plus we were able to see all the fun she was having on Instagram. Looking forward to having our pup stay at Dog Meadow again in the future! Edit: Here we are, 4 years later (at time of edit) and I've just picked our dog up from a 6 night stay. It's amazing to have a place where I can drop my dog off and not think twice. I went on vacation. So did our dog. The structure that Kleber has and the rules he's put in place is all focused on having a safe, healthy, fun, and loving place for our dogs to stay. I only want the best for our dog and this is the best!

When we travel, one of the most important things for us is that our dog Felix is taken care of. That's exactly why we've been using The Dog Meadow for daycare and boarding. The entire staff is so incredibly attentive to him, they make sure he always has a safe, fun experience while we are away. The crate-free environment really makes a difference as well! The best part about Dog Meadow is its huge, well maintained, almost TICK-FREE, outdoor free-play meadow. Felix can run around with all the other happy dogs all day long. He always starts whimpering excitedly when we turn up the road to the meadow - it's adorable! We've seen how much joy it brings him every time, and it's worth every penny. We can't recommend them enough! Dog Meadow of Millbrook is simply the best for your furry friends. If you care about your furry family member as much as we do I think you'll be happy with the experience. Whether it's daycare or boarding, trust us - your pup will thank you!

I boarded my 3 1/2 yr old German shepherd Lyla at Dog Meadow for 10 days. It was the first time she'd stayed anywhere other than with family. Kleber and Dog Meadow will be my go-to from now on. Lots of space for running and playing with the other dogs. He also easily accommodated her fresh food feeding. I loved the daily posts on instagram and was always reassured she was happy. Kleber runs a tight ship and you can place your trust in Dog Meadow!

Our dog Musket has been a regular “guest” at Dog Meadow over the past two and a half years and we always know he will be well cared for by Kleber. Dog Meadow is a first class operation and provides a safe environment conducive to Musket’s well being. We drop Musket off knowing he is in competent and caring hands. Kleber is quite attuned to each dog and their needs and he always provides us with feedback on Musket’s stay. The field where the dogs play gives them ample opportunity for exercise and fresh air. In addition, Kleber is a gifted photographer and the pictures he posts on Instagram capture the dogs’ spirits. His monthly newsletter is always insightful and rounds out a truly professional approach to dog care.

We leave our dogs, Lady & Izzy, in the care of Dog Meadow when we're out of town. Both have gone since they were puppies. If it's any testament to how much we value Dog Meadow, we drive almost an hour and a half from the city to bring Lady and Izzy. We do this because we know they will always get the most attentive and high quality care. They have open space to run free with other dogs and get to sleep outside of a crate, which is great for our dogs who never took well to crates. Kleber is wonderful to work with! He goes above and beyond to put our dogs' health, safety, and fun first. Thank you for all that you do!

We have boarded our Golden Retriever Kali at Dog Meadow twice this summer, and she has clearly had a blast. She was delighted to see Kleber when he returned to pick her up for her second visit, and jumped straight into his car. She has not done this at all with previous caretakers. We really appreciate all the photos and postings, and the pickup service is great. We highly recommend Dog Meadow.

Life Savers! We were stranded in the city and it was pouring rain at home. I texted with an emergency and they immediately went to my house and picked up my dog in the pouring rain and let her sleep over. Nice people all around!

This is an indoor/outdoor dog kennel on a large working farm. The staff will take you dog for long walls around the property of several acres, have them go for a swim in the onsite outdoor pool or do basic training training sessions during their stay. The dogs staying in the outdoor kennels during nice weather do tend to talk to each other a lot. I didn't have my dog stay here but used their pool for training purposes.

Jax has never been away from us for more than 12 hours at a time, but he did amazing from Friday morning drop off til Sunday evening pick up! They have a beautiful, cool facility where the dogs could stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. He was tuckered out for the next two days from all the running around he did, and he came back to us like a new dog. We had been working on off leash recall but he always ran off. Since he came home from his weekend at Ledgewood, he has perfect manners off leash. We won't ever board anywhere but Ledgewood!

I used to board my dog Bailey here before he passed away and he actually *loved* to be there! The staff took such good care of him! I brought my parents' dog Maple over, and they were so courteous and helpful. They listened to all her fussy habits that my parents liked to keep and didn't mind at all. She came back looking beautiful and happy. Great experience and a great location for a kennel!

We love Ledgewood for our two dogs. Our pitty can be a bit dog aggressive but we know she is safe and loved at Ledgewood. We ask to have our two dogs kept in separate kennels but close so they can take comfort in seeing each other and Ledgewood always accommodates. We travel 45 minutes to Ledgewood because they have always done what's best for our to babies. They also were easily able to accommodate our one dogs medication. We started using them a few years back and could not be happier!

Rosie is so sweet with my ZuZu that hates going to the 'spa' Really top notch grooming and affordable.

Our yellow lab, Bodhi, loves Ledgewood and loves Amanda, who looks after him. When we arrive for a stay, he pulls us into the office with his leash, he's so eager to get inside and see his friends, both human and canine. I think he'd rather stay at Ledgewood than be spoiled with us at home.

We've been taking our GSP here whenever we cannot travel with her. Friendly staff & reasonable rates. We would recommend Ledgewood to all dog owners.

Both of our dogs actually get excited when start to drive down the road to your kennel. We’ve tried them at others and they’ve always come back injured or depressed. They live you! That means we do too. Thanks for always taking such good care of Rudy and Sadie

Ace is SO happy! He passed his evaluation at Pawsatively Petastic and now can go to daycare and boarding at this fabulous place! 15,000 square feet of CAGE FREE boarding where dogs of all sizes romp and play, both indoors and outdoors! This is like heaven on earth for dogs and Ace didn’t want to leave. I HIGHLY recommend this doggie daycare/boarding for anyone in the Westchester and Putnam area - you WON’T be disappointed! We’ve known the owners Lia and Ray for a long time, even back before they had this facility when they provided pet care in their own home. They are wonderful people, will treat your dogs like their own family, and will provide so much enrichment to your dog’s life through play and socialization with other dogs in a state of the art (however affordable) facility! ❤️

I had my multi-Pooh boarded with positively neglectful Daycare , for three nights. I did hear that there were some issues, but it was last minute and against my better judgment I sent him. ,When I picked him up on Saturday. he seemed disorientated as if he didn’t know where he was or who I was.At this point he was walking fine. I got him home a couple of hours later he couldn’t even walk. It seemed as if something wore off . He was in extreme pain. He would not walk. I could not touch his back or his shoulders legs and paws. He just cried. I was mortified and took him to the vet immediately. She said he was dehydrated and definitely something had happened. when I called the facility on Friday to see how he was doing, they said everything was fine. When I picked him up as soon as we got home he also started with stomach problems throwing up diarrhea and blood in his diarrhea. I paid $428 to the vet. I placed my dog in their care thinking he was going to be taken care of and safe, they refused to take any responsibility. They said I signed a waiver, which apparently gives them a license to abuse dogs. I see there’s some good reviews here but believe me I’ve heard some terrible ones I would definitely never ever bringing your dog there. Unfortunately dogs can’t talk . If mine could I would love to hear what was done to him . They put the big dogs outside in the dead of summer and is all you hear is barking consistently I believe in my heart that something is not right at that facility and I am going to look into it. It’s not acceptable to treat or neglect animals because someone signed a waiver. !!!!!!!!!’

These owners are loving people who are diligent and have the best interest for the pet in their comfort and safety and happiness. On top of that they run a successful business and not only keep best interest of the pet, but really secure a wonderful feeling for the pet owners.Safety and security and healthy atmosphere is what you will see here! Super nice honest people… can’t say enough! Just picked up my two large dogs from 3 day vacation…. These dogs of mine run free at my home on 2.5 acres……every day and still wine cry etc. Tonight? We picked up? My dogs are happy Healthy and zonked!!! They had tons of friends to play with with Amazing environment! So grateful and so thankful we have people and a place we can finally trust!

I was looking over 2 years to find a daycare for my puppy which is a Doberman and every place I called wouldn’t take my puppy until I called Pawsitively and they took a chance on Xena and I am just thrilled how much she loves going here. The owners and the staff love Xena . I moved and I am driving a little more because I know Xena loves this place. I take her for daycare and boarding. I trust them 100 percent, maybe one day Xena will let them give her a bath and cut her nails Lol.

Marcelo grabs his collar and is ready to go when he hears “let’s go see Raymond at pawsitively”. It’s his home away from home. Only people I trust with my boy. He goes in by himself most of the time and announces his grand arrival!! Comes home happy and exhausted. 5 wagging tails for pawsitively and EVERYONE who works so incredibly hard to take such great care of these pups.

Daisy loves pawsitively petastic. She can't wait to get in the door to see her doggie friends. She's happily exhausted when she comes home with a smile and tail wagging when we say doggie day care.

I left my dog here for overnight boarding for 6 nights. It was her first time being with people and a bunch of other dogs that he didn’t know. I called two days in a row to check on him and I was glad they didn’t sugar coat anything. They were honest with me about how nervous he was. But after a few days he did great. When I picked him up he was ready to go back inside and even went to one of the coworkers to get a kiss before he left. They are so sweet and it’s an awesome place. We will be using them again in the future.

Star and I found our other loving family right under our nose on Route 6. Star is very social and playful but truly thinks she is the size of a Toy Poodle. Apparently something happened in her early formative years that causes her to be shy with dogs her size. I explained all of this to Lia, Ray, Emily and Maryann and they accommodate us by allowing Star to mingle with the "littles" and the medium size dogs. She firmly reminds me at 6:00 am when it's her doggy day care day and waits not- so- patiently as I get ready. She can't wait to go visit her friends, both human and canine, and comes home happy and exhausted. The folks at Pawsitively treat both of us like family and we couldn't have found a more loving, caring place to care for our wonderful greyhound. Try it for a day or for an overnight stay. You and your dog will be hooked! There is no better place.

My GSD is so happy here. He gets so excited when we arrive he doesn’t even hesitate to go with the staff. He is even happy when we board him. Lia and Ray and their staff clearly love the animals and the environment is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this business.

I have been bringing Sadie here for some time now for one a week daycare and socialization, and have used them for overnight boarding a few times. To put it bluntly, alI have to say in the morning is , "Do you wanna go play with friends" and she would drive herself there if she could. She LOVES it. and when I pick her up , I get a fully exhausted and had a full day of play pup :)

Awesome Veterinary Hospital to bring all of your loved animals! Best prices in the Hudson Valley and they offer all kinds of services to better the health of your pet. They also have training classes that you can take with your dog to teach him tricks and how to be more obedient. Would highly recommend this Vet to anyone that needs there animal healthy again. Lastly they have a pet resort so if you go away on Vacation they will take the best care for your animal.

Oswald had a great day at Pet and Play. He came home happy. The staff were wonderful and caring. You can tell how much they love what they do. It makes me feel so much more comfortable know that he will be happy and well cared for when he is there.

My fiancé and I have our 4.5-month-old puppy, Ellie, go to Pet 'n Play a few days during the week because we both just started new jobs and Ellie can't be home alone for 9 hours. I must say this doggy/puppy daycare is amazing. I was worried because Ellie tends to play pretty roughly (being a bully breed). The staff told me not to worry and that they would put her with dogs that are model students. They do have dog trainers that work there because I spoke to one who was educating me on how bully breeds play rougher; she called it "gladiator play." On the days Ellie goes, we get multiple pictures of Ellie and her friends playing. The staff is amazing; the drop-off and pick-up process is so easy. They have a little water park with kiddie pools filled with water for those hot days. Every time we drop Ellie off, she is beyond excited to go into the building and see the staff, so they must be doing a wonderful job. This is my first time putting one of my dogs into daycare, and I don't regret it. When we pick her up, she is exhausted from playing with her friends. Ellie, my fiancé, and I are beyond grateful for all the hardworking staff at Pet 'n Play. If you look at these photos, Ellie is genuinely smiling.🩷

Today was my first Visit at “Pet n Play Resort” and let me tell you I am more than pleased with this establishment! They are so welcoming and kind, I couldn’t be happier. They greet you and your furry friend 🐶🐾 with a smile 😊 upon arrival and explain the entire process in detail, if you’re new there. They provide daily reports & as you can see my puppy “Chanel” had an awesome time 😎. Many of us have anxiety about leaving our fur babies with someone new even if it’s for a few hours, but this resort/doggy daycare is 💯percent trustworthy and affordable. We will definitely be back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I highly recommend! We found the staff a pleasure to work with, helpful in navigating the pet requirements and our dog had a blast! It was nice to be able to get our boy’s influenza vaccine, while he boarded.

I just took my dog Luna for a trial day which is free. The staff spends the day observing Luna to evaluate her play style & see if she is a good fit for the program. They were very easy to work with & answered all my questions. The drop off & pick up was smooth. Luna passed the evaluation process. I'm happy to be able to start to send her there for play time. She was happy & tired when I picked her up.

My 2 year old dog has regularly attended there since she was a young pup. They've always take great care of her, and she's always super excited each time we arrive there. All the staff appear to love working there, and the dogs all seem happy socializing with each other. It's a huge plus that it's owned by veterinarians, and the vet's building is on property. Also, they require all dogs to be fully vaccinated and medically clear/healthy to attend daycare. In addition to doggie daycare, they also offer overnight kenneling (which includes feedings of either their dog food or you can bring your own). There's also a cost-saving Daycare Tuition program when you want to have your dog attend daycare certain set days each week.

Great safe place for puppies and dogs. I like how they send a report card for the day. Shows how the day went and communicates if something happen where action needs to be done. Great helpful friendly staff. This place gives you peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. Would recommend. Started out as 12 free days included with my puppy plan. Loved it and now continue to use it after the free days. Reasonable price.

Pet n Play Luxury Pet Resort is a great find! A treasure in Newburgh! My little Lola is coming out of her shell and is playing with other dogs! For her that’s a huge step! And I can leave her there with full confidence!

Becca is awesome — highly recommend. My wife, son, and I were visiting the area and staying in an Airbnb with two boxers. We had been taking turns watching the dogs and visiting local attractions, hiking, etc. but we wanted a little time together with all three of us to do an activity without the pups. We can’t board them because they aren’t well-behaved enough around other dogs; and while they are fine when we leave them alone together in our house, we didn’t want to do that while we are guests in an Airbnb. Becca came over to meet the dogs and they were fast friends! She took care of them for a few hours, send pics and videos to reassure us that they were happy and in good hands, and was altogether a delight to work with. Here are some pics shortly after (doggos happy and tired out from socializing). We plan to call Becca again the next time we’re in town!

When we first met Becca, we only had one dog, but by the time our wedding came around we had rescued another. Both of them took some time to get to know Becca/be comfortable with her, but she came by weekly up until our wedding to walk them, get to know them and bond with them. Soon enough they both absolutely loved her and we are so thankful for her commitment to animals and her job which made that possible. Becca truly understands animals and cares for others pets as if they are her own. Her care is patient, intuitive, loving, gentle, and knowledgable. She even taught our dogs a few things! If you are someone who wants updates on your pets while Becca cares for them (she respectfully asks if you do or do not want updates), then you'll be thrilled with her ability to send frequent text, video, and photo updates while she is with your animals. We never had to worry or wonder how our dogs were doing and what they were up to because Becca updated us regularly during her entire almost 2 week stay at our place. We could tell from these updates that our two dogs were so happy and calm with Becca. One of our dogs was having some separation anxiety/stomach problems, and was pooping inside/stress chewing walls. Becca was nothing but compassionate about this and happy to do her best to not only comfort our dog, but to take care of cleaning up as well. Whether you are looking for someone to care for your pets daily, during a trip, or just here and there - book Becca! You will not be disappointed, and more importantly, neither will your pets. Lastly, her pricing is fair. However, finding someone who we trust completely with our dogs, who are our children, is priceless. Thank you Becca!!!! <3

I HIGHLY recommend Becca’s Happy Paws Pet Care. I have two older ladies 15 and 16 years old. One has severe separation anxiety and the other only likes me and my husband. Becca came to do a meet and greet and both girls were so comfortable with her! We went away for 6 days and every visit I got a video and an update from Becca. Each video with both girls purring and totally at ease. We arrived home last night and these ladies were both completely happy, relaxed and comfortable. I just can’t say enough about Becca, she is a gem and she will treat your pets as if they are her own. Thank you Becca!

Becca has taken care of our two cats several times when we've been out of town, and she's been amazing each time. We were traveling for the first time since moving to a new area and needed someone to take care of our cat for the week. Becca was awesome! Very professional and communicative. I recently engaged Becca to look after my cats and was thoroughly impressed by her diligence , professionalism, communication and most of all by her love of the animals . She exudes compassion and joy with them and they responded very well to her. Both animals take meds and she adeptly managed it. Plus the photos / videos she sends settle any owner’s anxiety . Our pit/lab Louie had a wonderful time at his 2 night stay at Hammertown Kennels. He hadn't been in a boarding situation in a few years, so we were nervous about how he would do with the other dogs. Joanne and Mary are very knowledgeable about dog behavior and knew which dogs to introduce him to first, and in a careful and safe manner. Their love for dogs was evident and we so appreciated their care and concern. When we received a video of Louie joyfully playing off-leash with another dog, we were so happy and relieved. We have already booked another, longer stay.

I highly recommend Mary and her staff at Hammertown Kennels. This was only the second time we needed to board our Basset Hound, Lulu, and it was a wonderful experience for us as well as Lulu. Our anxiety was eased as we received pictures of Lulu with other dogs, interacting with staff, and even a video of Lulu in the play yard. We even got some helpful training tips that are working for us. Mary and staff show such obvious affection and provide a vacation like setting for all their guests. We will definitely be back!!

Our experience was amazing! Everyone at Hammertown Kennels clearly loves dogs and treats them as if they are their own. Communication was amazing and the service was easy and efficient. My dog was happy and I could relax knowing he was in a caring environment getting lots of exercise and love. Mary was super accommodating when I had travel troubles and needed to add additional time. What a great find! 🥰

Can't speak highly enough of Hammertown. Our dog Lulu has stayed 2 times for extended stays, and it's very comforting for us to know that her days are enriching. We love getting photos of her everyday! When she comes back, she's happy and well adjusted.

If anyone is ever looking for dog boarding/training I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hammertown Kennels in Pine Plains, NY. They are Amazing!!! The place is Beautiful. The kennels are indoor/outdoor - seperated by a doggie door so that your dog can go in & out as they please (inside air-conditioned of course). There is a farm with horses that the dogs Love. A shallow lake to run and play in. And the Owners are just Great people. I can tell my dog Loved them very much. I am so happy that I chose them & I will most definitely bring my Nala back. 🐾❤

Our 3 boys had a blast here!!! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. We were in a bind & needed a place to board our boys for a week over the holiday weekend, so we reached out to Mary and she gladly got them in. While they were staying there we received pictures and updates which we really enjoyed. Would recommend to any family or friends needing a place for their 4 legged friends.

We boarded our rambunctious and social dog with Mary this week. She got socialized with other dogs, spent time out of the kennel in the office and went on walks. The kennel and grounds are gorgeous. Mary sent videos and pictures so we could see how she was getting on. Mary was very responsive by text.
