I've never kennels a dog before, but our 8yo lab/retriever made it necessary. They went above and beyond to accommodate her craziness. This isn't some fancy dog spa, but people who really love the animals and do it all themselves. Imo, the daily rates are very reasonable for the care they get.

I got my pup back she smelled like urine, she now has a fever and a raspy bark. ( I understand she is a barker and it can happen) but the fever is a bit much. I had confidence dropping her off seeing they said bring stuff machine washable and I got her belongings back smelling like potent urine! I now need to make her a vet appointment because of the fever! And the small dog kennel seems super small. I feel like they didn't try hard enough with her despite knowing the fact that she was a bit nervous!

My puppy loved it their. He stayed for two months and I got him back a little bit more socialised. Super friendly Ladies! Super clean! The puppies have a inside-outside kennel and can decide by them self when they want to be in or out. A bonus is, you can book the dog-hotel online!

I have never boarded my dogs before and was a bit apprehensive about doing so. I was going to be out of state for a week and wasnt in the position to be able to take them with me. I contacted Blue Water Kennels, who happened, coincidentally, to be the closest facility to me and they checked all my boxes. This would be a first time experience not only for myself, but for my 10 year old Blue Heeler, who is my velcro dog and her "brother", a nearly year old Aussie. Two very busy, and potentially "challenging" dogs. I called while away and received a prompt call back that made me feel much better (and less guilty) about leaving them behind. I think BWK did a wonderful job and I wouldnt hesitate to using them again should the need arise.

I own two french bulldogs. They have no air conditioning. They should never purport them selves as able to care for my dogs in August. Their facility is completely ill equipped to handle short nosed dogs. Climate control is a must for them. They however seemed to think pouring water on them is sufficient. I toured this facility at 9am and it was already well over 80 degrees inside. Can't even imagine how hot it gets mid day in August. So glad I toured rather than take their word for granted.

We used Blue Water Kennels for the first time when we were in Mexico the last two weeks. Excellent service! Nice, clean place with lots of room and the employees really love animals! They took perfect care of our Standard Schnauzer!! I have been on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Better Business Bureau for over 20 years and I would recommend Blue Water Kennels to anyone I know!

Our dog visited during spring break and came home incredibly ill. The owner repeatedly said that it was anxiety, however our other dog (who didn't stay at this kennel) caught the illness after. They had explosive diarrhea and felt sick for over a week. I've heard absolute awful things about this business. I greatly regret having my dog stay here. Had I known what I know now, I would not have boarded my dog here.

Nobody answers the phone constantly playing phone tag. Here to pick up our dog at 3pm nobody is here. Called 3 hours before picking him up like I was asked. Will not bring my dog back.

Took excellent care of my cat while i was away. They are very friendly. I felt comfortable leaving my pet in their caring hands.

Our three dogs have stayed at American Pets Inn several times. We have always had a good experience with them. The staff is great, very responsive. I appreciate the peace of mind to be able to go on vacation without worrying about our fur babies.

The team here at American Pets Inn takes such good care of our girl Peach every time we take her here! She gets excited the second we turn onto the street and can’t wait to go and say hi to whoever’s behind the desk, and every single employee is just as excited to see our girl and every other dog that goes here. They genuinely care about the wellbeing of every dog that goes here and we’ve felt that from the start of getting our girl enrolled! Very nice staff! Always very kind to me and my dog. For reference, we rescued our dog and have been working hard on raising her comfort level w/ new people and other dogs - I believe taking her here has played a massive role in that endeavor!

Staff lies about what they're actually doing with your pets while in their care. I've seen multiple pieces of evidence proving that they're simply not providng the level of care for your pets they claim to. Additionally, suggesting any of these issues to the staff will only be met with blanket hostility. If they were honest, maybe they'd defend their practices instead of attacking others. Many places in the area are simply more friendly and better trained.

I recently rescued a dog and was referred to American Pets Inn. I wanted him have fun and learn while I’m at work. My dog was socialized, exercised and loved throughout the day by the amazing staff and he was tuckered out by the end of the day!

Staff is super welcoming and friendly. Facility is very clean. Prices are reasonable and check-in / out is easy and efficient! My puppy loves it here!

We have an older rescue dog and we were concerned about boarding her until we experienced the super friendly, compassionate staff at American Pets Inn! Not only will we board her with American Pets, but we are even going to send her to daycare part-time so that she can play with the other "buddies" (and the staff). The facility is very clean and organized. Say "yes" to American Pets Inn!

American pet resort was recommended by a friend. When my foster arrived for her first day, they took their time easing her into daycare. She had a great day. What I really like is the friendly staff and it is very clean!

I've been bringing Poppy here for almost three years and it's been an absolute delight! She's made so many friends and the staff does a great job handling her, even when she gets spicy. Jasmine even threw her a little birthday celebration this year! Jasmine really created a special bond with her and every night at pickup Poppy goes behind the desk to say goodbye. ❤ It's also incredibly comforting to have it attached to the vet so in case of an emergency it can be handled right away. I'm thankful that it's so close to my house, their services (both vet and daycare/boarding) have saved me on many occasions!

We just completed our first training session with Allison. What an amazing experience! Our goal is introduce our two, active, high-strung pit bulls, in hopes that they can be friendly with each other and ultimately harmoniously be together. After trying it on our own with a rather disastrous first introduction, we decided that professional help was needed. Enter Allison. She was incredible with our dogs. Her knowledge and training procedures are top notch. She exceeded our expectations in one session and gave us so much hope. I took canine training with Alye for a couple years. Our GSD Sherman was a mess when we adopted him at one year. Alye was amazing with him!! Her techniques are proven to work. Worth every penny. He got his Canine Good Citizen and his Community Canine titles.

Alye is absolutely amazing. We raise Rottweilers and during her time in Yuma she helped us obtain 6 different titles on my male. She has helped me become a more confident handler too (I trained pet dogs and service dogs). But the show ring is a whole different game Anyone would be blessed to have her as their trainer!! Wish she would move back!!

While I have never been to the Animal Activity Center, I have had the pleasure of working with Alye as my dog trainer, and I can’t recommend her enough. I've never boarded my dogs with them or anything, but their dog trainer Alye is TOP NOTCH. I have had the privilege of working with my dogs with her for several years now. We have a pack of dogs...literally. We have 6 dogs with very different behaviors and needs. Not only did Alye make it so that my dogs are well behaved enough to earn their Canine Good Citizenship, but our house is so much happier and healthier. She taught me how to be a better owner and how to communicate effectively with my dogs. I learned to understand their needs and fulfill their needs. We have two border collies with one being a difficult dog; she was abused in the past and became very distrusting of people and things. I can now take her anywhere and do anything with her. She has done 3 trick training titles, CGC, agility, basic obedience, and Rally all because of Alye. When Alye let me know she was to the Animal Activity Center, I cried. My dogs and I miss her every day. She is still a great resource and will always be a mentor to me. If you get the chance to work with her at any point, DO IT!!! She is worth every penny and every second you will spend...times a million.

The training portion is a MUST. Alye knows what she’s doin! The group class, the private sessions!!! I am amazed by this woman! My non confident dog is a whole new girl!!! She took the time to learn what my girl was scared of & got her on the high road to success!!!! Not to mention she’s helped SO much with my new puppy! Now I can handle both my dogs at the same time! We had Ms. Alye as our trainer for our Chichon, Micky, for a good four years back in Yuma. We miss her so much! So does Micky! Micky worked out with Ms. Alye three times a week, and I could see how much his posture and overall strength have developed. I would give 10 shiny stars at least for all the tender and loving care that Ms Alye gave our furbaby. You could just tell that she really loved and care about Micky’s well-being. She’s a wonderful, hard-working and compassionate dog trainer. Ms Alye also kept up on her education and training. It shows in her confidence and gentle ways of establishing a trusting and loving relationship with the animals. She is a dear friend to Micky, above all!

So glad to see you all have Alye Swarts on your team. We used her for many months for our Staffie mix. What a great turn around we had with Coco using positive reinforcement!!

Michelle visited my two cats while we were on vacation for a week. One of them was a pandemic adoption and had never really been alone before for very long. Michelle sent the best pictures of them playing and having fun each day, and left detailed notes for me. It was such a relief to know that they were being checked up on and having fun every single day. I will use them again the next time I go away.

My dog needed some socialization and I was very pleased with this whole process! Initially used their website to inquire about the temperament test and had quick responses. While my dog was there, I was able to text them to see how she was doing and they responded back quickly giving me detailed info to ease my mind. At pickup, was able to hear how she did and ask questions. Very good experience overall and bringing her back for further daycare fun!

We were very nervous about boarding our recent rescue for 3 nights. We had never used a boarding facility before. Our nerves were calmed when we received photos of him and seen how happy he looked playing with all his new friends at the daycare! We already booked his next stay in August when we picked him up today! Thank you so much!

My pup is so excited to go here! She about jumps out of the car to go in. I also notice today, she didn't want to leave there. So that's a win for me. I was nervous to leave her. First, we would like to share a huge thank you to the Blue Water Pet Care Inc! Our experience was wonderful and flawless! From the drop off to the pick up process all went very nice! Our dog “Beans” was boarded for 9 days and left very happy. Everyone was so helpful and friendly too and that meant a lot to my wife and I! The daily texts they sent to update our pet was a great feeling especially when your so far away! We would like to extend a big thank you to all the team members for taking care of our dog and we look forward to another great experience next time too!

My sweet girl Hazel loved her first day of daycare at Blue Water Pet Care. The staff are so welcoming and caring. Hazel can't wait to attend daycare on a regular weekly basis to play and socialize with the other dogs.

What a great place. They take great care of my dog. Everyone is very friendly. And, although I dont use it often, i really like that you can have them send pictures and what they call a report card of your pets activity for the day. And I use them for daycare, boarding, and grooming. Would recommend to anyone.

Our German Shepherd is a bit, well, like a German Shepherd. He’s a good boy, but a bit intense. The staff took great care of him. They worked around his quirks and formed a nice bond with him. Daily updates and photos are great for peace of mind. Highly recommended

I was nervous about bringing my dog to a kennel for boarding for the first time, and the staff was very welcoming and answered all of my questions. my dog attended daycare prior to being boarding to ensure she was comfortable before her stay. they say she walks in like an old pro now! so thankful i found this place!

The staff is wonderful and very friendly. My dogs are always happy to arrive and happy to leave. They love playing with their friends! The staff respond quickly via phone or text. When my dogs stay here, I never worry about them and that speaks volumes.

We have 100% trust in Blue Water Pet Care. Hope loves going in for occasional visits with her friends - both canine and human!

I called to inquire about the doggie daycare. First of all she answered the phone and didn’t seem very friendly. Sort of rough around the edges. I expected her to be warm and bubbly and sell herself and her services and explain things thoroughly to me. I had to pull information from her. When I told her I was looking for daily dog care, Monday through Friday when I’m at work, she said that would be too much for my dog and suggested maybe a couple days a week. My well-behaved dog is 2 1/2 years old and playful but he does know when he needs to rest. I told her I was looking for a home environment. She told me her place is open to the public, still don’t know what that means. I just didn’t get the warm, caring personality from her, I was turned off. She also does not do a meet and greet. She wanted me to drop my dog off for the day without even taking a tour of the place first. Just bad vibes all the way around. Learn to be warm and fuzzy and sell your services. After all our dogs are our babies. I wanted a home environment that my dog could feel comfortable in while I work during the day, better than leaving him home alone.

I've been bringing my dog here for 3 years now. Debbie and Marilyn are great! My dog Sophie enjoys visiting them to get her beauty treatment. Marilyn does a fantastic job on my baby girl. Thank you to you both for such a great experience.

My first time boarding here...my little fur baby seemed to have enjoyed it. Usually he comes home exhausted from shaking...today he came home and wanted to eat. That's a good sign here!! Will definitely use them again. Happy puppy!

We started bringing our Yorkie here after several bad experiences at a big chain pet store groomer. We use to get her home hours and hours later, shaking with fright and obviously sore from being nicked during grooming. She receives nothing but the VERY BEST of care here! Debby and her employees are always patient and gentle with our little baby and she comes home looking Adorable every time. Timely Service too, she is always in and out for a pleasant, stress-free experience. We will NEVER go elsewhere!!. Thank You for taking such good care of me - Lilly :)

I started taking our boy Maxx here when he was 6 months old. He LOVES it. He cannot wait to get there when he sees we are close. The owner is very friendly and easy to work with. Maxx has brought home several paw-made projects, and is always ready for a nap. I dropped him off the other day, and another dog mom saw me walking in and had to tell me her dog and mine were best friends😊 It’s just an overall fun place. Definitely made me feel comfortable when Maxx needed boarded as well. Some places just have their boarders in a kennel run and only let out a few times a day, and I have to pay extra for a little exercise. Here, he got to play with all of his friends from open to close the whole time he was there. Very happy!

Lack of experience with puppies. No temperament tests done. Doesn't look at shot records. Puppy came home more terrified, she went in scared just like she did with another day care and now hates too leave that one, because she has fun. When we go to the other one, she runs to the gate excitedly to goo play auth her friends. She still goes to was just looking for one closer to home. I mentioned that she was a puppy and still potty training. Oh and no website. Apparently i was wrong on one person working there. I have only ever spoke or seen one person.

They did a wonderful grooming job on my corgis Ruby and Gracie , I've never had a job done this nice. Highly impressed and will recommend to others. Thanks again !

My dog and I love this place. It’s very chill and dog oriented. When I get my dog groomed he always leaves looking and smelling fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment!

I drop off one of my dogs here when we go on vacation and he loves it. Im not the most convenient for pickup and drop off times but debbie is more than accommodating to me.

Our experience with this place was horrific to say the least. I filled out the form online with our interest. I was immediately contacted and talked to Miranda. She said she had availability and explained her process (coming to meet our dogs at our house first). She provided paperwork to be filled out. I returned the paperwork the next day and then it started to fall apart. She did not show for her meet and greet with our puppies and then didn't answer texts for a week. After a week, I sent a voicemail stating that if anything had changed to please let us know because it would be difficult to find a place over Spring Break. She called back and said they had a family emergency but not to worry we were confirmed. The next week we had another meet and greet planned and she did not show. From that point forward she never answered a text or voicemail. With just two weeks to go before we had to leave I had to desparately look for an alternative. I am lucky we found an amazing place. But I would not recommend this place to anyone. A person that would do this sort of thing is not a good human and I certainly wouldn't even trust her with my dogs.

Very friendly.. seems to care about the pets she takes care of.. was happy to find someone so quickly after moving back from Florida.. and if you read her site you would know she only takes cash or checks.. I had no problem understanding this.. thank you for taking us in..

Michelle is one of the best groomers I have ever had. She always does a fantastic job on my dog who is an Australian shepherd/ border collie mix. I highly recommend you come here for all your pet grooming needs.

FYI! Only takes cash or checks no credit cards. Failed to mention that when I setup grooming appointment. Would not release my dog to me (held him hostage) until she was paid. It was rush hour traffic when I went to pick him up. I had hung out in town until he was done, being that I drove over an hour for the appointment. She would not work with me. When I mentioned that she failed to inform me when I made the appointment her response was “I don’t know who I told and who I didn’t.” 12pm appointment and didn’t get home til 7pm. Obviously she didn’t need my business!

She did a great job with my anxious little dog. The place was clean and well organized. Great communication, and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there.

I have been taking my dogs to Elite grooming for close to 20 years, and all I have is praise for Michelle and the way she grooms my dogs. I would not want to go anywhere else.

We had an excellent experience. It was my sons golden doodle"s first haircut and she did a wonderful job!!! We will definitely be back!!

My maltipoo got her best haircut ever! Definitely worth my drive from Canada. Michelle is really good at texting back for appointments n making sure she understands what the customer wants. Will definitely be going back.

I highly recommend Elite Pet Styling!! I brought my terrier in and he was in desperate need of a haircut! I asked for a puppy cut and when I picked him up, I was so delighted to see the amazing job!! His nails were also cut and filed impeccably! ELITE is AWESOME!! ❤️

Took our Cavachon dog here for the first time yesterday. So glad we did. More realistic price and she looks beautiful. My new groomer for sure.
