Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.
We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!
Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
Angelica was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Rosie! She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. She was extremely reliable throughout the process, and left our house really neat. Rosie was happy when we got home! We'd be happy to have Angelica sit for us again and would recommend her to anyone!
We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.
David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.
Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.
Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

I can't say enough about how happy we were with the entire experience. Great communication, they did everything right that other groomers we've been trying did poorly. In-between the pads wow they nailed it. Four different groomers had difficulty getting this correct. We didn't have to come with the scissors and clean things up. I paid for my buddy not to be kenneled he has some anxiety. He must have had a great time because when he came out and didn't see me. His tail and body were wagging as he went over to one of the staff as if she was his new best friend. If the service I received stays at the present level. The Groom Room is going to be around for a long time. The stress of searching for a good groomer is over! Thankfully.
If you’re looking for a caring and talented team to groom your fur child - the Wiggle Waggles Groom Room is the place to go. While it’s located on a busy road, there are plenty of parking spots in front of the building and fairly accessible. Megan and Erika are patient and talented when they care for my dog’s grooming needs. My pup is. 2 year old energetic yorkiepoo and they handle him with care. He always come back home happy. I tried their daycare once and received a report card after my dog’s visit which I thought was neat. Overall, I’ve had many positive interactions with this business. Support local and use them for your pup care needs!
My experience with Wiggle Waggles started off to a good start, but then became worrying over time. Last year, I had brought my dog weekly, and every week had asked how he was doing. I received glowing feedback he was consistently doing great. All of the sudden, I received an Email that he had behavioral issues. It turns out, that he was exhibiting these issues for quite some time, even though I was consistently being told that he was doing great. This lead me to have distrust in the organization, since of course I would want to be able to correct my pup's behavior and work on it if he is having some social anxiety. I hope this feedback will be helpful, for the organization to openly communicate with clients, in order to foster happy, healthy relationships for the pups and owners.
The groomers are awesome . Not only do they do an amazing job , they go above and beyond to make your pup feel comfortable.
Wiggle Waggles is a wonderful doggie daycare. They take great care of our 9.5 lb Shih Tzu and even helped us navigate a bit of separation anxiety recently. The socialization has been great for our pup, and we also plan to send our new Shih Tzu there. It can be hard for puppy parents to send small dogs to daycare, but Liz and her entire team make it easy. We're so grateful to Wiggle Waggles and wholeheartedly recommend them!
I LOVE taking my doggy here. Liz is always uploading pictures and videos so you can see what your dog is up to and I never have to worry about my dog when he is there. The staff is amazing. Wiggle waggles is so welcoming, clean, fun and the perfect place to take your pup.
Liz and her team are the absolute best – they're so caring and our little Murphy LOVES going to day care! We toured another local facility before coming to Wiggle Waggles, but felt overwhelmed with the amount of dogs and nervous about the nonchalant staff. The difference in Murphy's reaction when touring Wiggle Waggles was totally night and day – we left knowing we found the right people to trust with our pup a few days a week. It's obvious they love our boy (almost) as much as we do and we couldn't ask for anything better! The facilities are beautiful and clean, and we always get sent home with a happy and tired pup. The facebook posts throughout the day are also a huge plus – we love seeing what he's up to. Thank you Liz and the rest of the team for being so good to our boy!
My babies love it there! The staff/The owner are amazing! It’s perfect place to get that extra energy out on cold rainy days. - And I love Frenchie Fridays. My little French can play with others just like her.
My Louie literally drags me to get into daycare. All I have to say in the morning is “ready for daycare?” And he sits by the door waiting to go. He literally loves this place! Tires him out too so when he comes home he is nice and relaxed(:
We adopted a puppy and he started getting some separation anxiety and was chewing his crate bed and plastic pan when we were at work. Wiggle waggles has been the perfect solution to keeping our dog socialized and exercised. He is always excited to be dropped off and leaves happy! Every worker I’ve met has been extremely kind and they clearly love all of the animals.
I highly recommend Karma Dior for pet sitting and boarding. We needed to put our super shy King Charles Spaniel somewhere while we visited Syracuse University. Erika - owner of Karma Dior - was so accommodating and kind to our sweet girl. She knew how nervous we were so shared pictures and let us know how she was the whole time she was in her care. I cannot say enough good things about her and how she runs her business!
We have 2 puppies, a pit bull terrier and a standard poodle. We were looking for boarding since we had a sudden trip to make and we couldn’t bring them with us. We found Karma Dior 2 days before the trip, and the process was very smooth. We were able to drop them off and leave with a peace of mind. The environment was such a dog haven that within minutes of first meeting, our puppies felt at home. Erika, the owner demonstrated her expertise with pets. As dog parents, my wife and I had a great trip because we both know our puppies are in great love and care. We couldn’t ask for more. She provided more than enough updates along with plenty of pictures and videos. For those dog parents out there that needs boarding, I highly recommend Karma Dior. A home away from home for pets.
I was from out of town and needed last minute day care for my two Golden Doodles. Karma Dior came to the rescue! They couldn’t have been in better hands. Dogs had a blast.
Erika, the owner, was very acommodating in our last minute boarding needs for a long weekend. We had never boarded our dog before. She assured us with lots of pictures, and videos showing him having a great time and making friends with other dogs. I recommend Karma Dior for pet boarding anytime. I was pleased to know there was plenty of outside time to play, and my dog seemed very happy there.
We were looking for care for our needy, shy and sheepish Pitty. My husband and I were extremely impressed by Erica’s online presence, so we went and checked her out. And when I tell you it’s a no brainer—I mean it. We did several daycare days before boarding our pup for 2 nights, and I cannot tell you how good we felt leaving her at Karma Dior. What you’re getting is small scale, knowledgeable, caring and home-like environment for your pet. What you’re not getting is being upsold in a sterile, 1 of 100 dogs type daycare. We will definitely continue to utilize Karma Dior for our big baby.
Howl was very happy after being groomed by Erika of Karma Dior! He had such great energy and excitement. Erika has a great holistic approach and worked with your dog to make them comfortable with the grooming process. Howl responded well to the approach. Pricing was very reasonable for the services. Erika is a great communicator, easy to reach great to work with. Thank you 🙏🏼
We rescued a semi feral cat from the street. KARMA DIOR was my go-to. Her patience on the phone (I am hard of hearing) was appreciated. Her patience with my new friend was amazing!! Oh and he looks great too!!
This was the first time that me and my dog uno Young lady and I must say she did a Marvelous job an amazing job And I'm, let's say she's wonderful with animals. The first time that my dog met her. He loved to immediately please take your pets. To go see her, she's wonderful. You will love her services and she's a great person My dog went from this to this. You tell me about her work Because to me is speak for itself.
This girl is the real deal. Brought my HYPER Westie for a groom. What a great experience! I was nervous, as this was only his second time being groomed, and like I said, HYPER! Well, a couple hours later I was BLOWN AWAY with how GREAT he looked, smelled, and SMILED. He tells me he had a GREAT experience, and is demanding to be considered a " regular". This girl runs a small, over run facility. Seems her biggest concern is the animals. She could use all the help she can get... Get to know Karma Dior, you will be VERY happy!
Took Nino for his summer cut. Erika is a magician!! I left a 2 yr old dog and got a puppy back. Excellent job!! Before & after.
We are so grateful for the Barking Orange 🧡 My sister recommended them to me as they literally have treated 3 of her dogs like family. Our “Puddles” is extremely shy& but when we pull into “school” he is so happy! Their grooming person is unbelievable. She is patient and so kind. The price is extremely reasonable& the job she does is better than anywhere. 🐾
Best doggy daycare in Syracuse! The staff are all amazing and kind. Prices are very fair and transparent. We wouldn't trust our doggo to go anywhere else! ❤️
Chewbacca’s been going to Barking Orange for a year. He started at 8 months old and the socialization with other dogs has been so good for him. He lives going and is happy when I pick him up. He is one happy tired out pup!
My pup enrolled a few weeks ago and has been to daycare 8 days. She now wants to leave the house with me in the morning. And, upon arrival, she eagerly whines for Sam to let her in. I was initially anxious about leaving Z, but the interview process and the staff’s genuine care has totally put me at ease. Also, hours of 7am to 6:30pm is so helpful!
Frosty goes for grooming with Linda at Barking Orange. She is very patient and kind to Frosty and he ends up looking like a different dog than when he went in. Beautifully trimmed and brushed. 🤗 …
I’ve been bring my 1 year yellow lab here since she was about 12 weeks old. They’ve been great! She started on the puppy side and eventually graduated to the big dog side. She gets so excited when we arrive and she can’t wait to play. All the staff has been friendly and helpful and it’s great they have a pickuo ubtil 630p because I don’t usually get done with work till 6 or shortly after. My pup comes home tired every night I bring her! I’ve also used the groomer onsite for nail trimming and that’s been great. Highly recommend!
We love the Barking Organge staff and furry friends. Our pup has been running with the pack for several months. She is eager to get inside in the morning which tells me she loves going. The staff are wonderful and I love popping in to see what's happening on the webcam. I rate them 11 out of 10- outstanding care and service, reasonable rates and a great location.
My lab loves her friends at Barking Orange. She plays so hard there that she sleeps for about ten hours straight. The staff are wonderful and it is clear that they love dogs.
I took my dog there to see if she would be a good fit for doggie daycare and staff were so amazing. They are so diligent in making sure not only my dog was safe, happy and comfortable being added but the other dogs were happy with her too. It is such an inviting environment and the communication is great. I trust the staff and feel they deeply care for animals and it shows. I would definitely recommend for any services.
Sara and Sam and the entire staff are amazing! My pup has been going to daycare for a few years. She’s come a long way! I appreciate them all for taking care of my dog like their own.
My boys Archie and Levi have been coming here for over a year now and I have to say, this place is phenomenal. We were very weary about ever putting our dogs in daycare/boarding until we heard about Shear Magic and how they treat the dogs. We decided to give them a shot and I am so happy we did. They are super accommodating, have been there through thick and thin for my boys, and offered so much advice to this first time dog mom. My boys would not be how they are today without Shear Magic's help and I am so grateful for that! They get so excited when they know it's a daycare day, they love Shear Magic too! I also have them groomed every 2 or so months and they always come back with the softest and fluffiest coats. Bonus that they can get groomed and go to daycare at the same time, so no waiting in a kennel! Ps. Had to include some of my favorite pictures from Shear Magic ❤️
I want to preface by saying every time we have been here the staff has been great. However, it is impossible to reach anyone for scheduling. Every time I call no one answers the phone, and despite both myself and my s/o leaving voicemails, no one returns our calls. The service is great in person, but the communication with scheduling is lacking. We will be having our dog groomed elsewhere from now on because it’s impossible to get a hold of anyone and our dog is long overdue for grooming services.
We have been clients for a long time going back to the canine clubhouse days. We call for grooming, anything really, and it’s always an empty promise of a return call or a full voicemail box. It’s a nice facility and the groomers did well by us but the management of the facility is unfortunate.
Everyone here is so kind and caring. We do doggy daycare and have boarded our pup with them numerous times. It's a beautiful thing to leave your dog and know that they'll be safe, happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!
Safest place for your pets, in Syracuse NY - by far* The owner Kristen is an angel
My pup contracted a virus while under their care. Unsanitary conditions and too many dogs at the same time to care for. Very disappointing.
My dog has been going to Shear Magic to be groomed for the past 3 years, since we got him as a puppy. I realized I didn’t receive a confirmation email the day before his appointment so I called to confirm that he had one, and was informed that the woman that normally grooms him left to work somewhere else and that they were sorry they didn’t call to inform me. Then I was told that the other groomers were all booked up and there wasn’t any room to fit my dog in at any time and told me I should take him somewhere else. This was very disappointing as I’ve been a customer there for 3 years and this was how I was treated.
Shear Magic did an AMAZING job on Mace's tough German Shepherd coat. Price was very reasonable on the deluxe package, which includes nails, ears, pads, etc.
I understand that the groomer my dog went to isn't working there anymore. But it's very unprofessional to tell me that information when my appointment is two weeks out. I've been having scheduling problems here and the one time I book out 3 months I can't even take my dog. No hate they do a great job grooming just terrible scheduling.
Horrible! First time there and never again! The girl that was to groom our puppy left, and no one called and canceled or changed our appointment. Got there, and I was told I wasn't written down. I had a confirmation from them on my phone. I stood in the cold for 15 minutes and insisted I had no appointment. How would I know the girl's name was Lauren! They said they could not accommodate me, and if I gave them my name and number, they would write me down for when they had room in their schedules. I waited for a month for that appointment and took time off to bring her there. Never a phone call back from them either! Thanks for ruining someone's business purple hair!
Tried to get my dog in after seeing this place was voted the best in Syracuse... the initial experience has caused me to look elsewhere. I submitted an application twice, submitted my dogs records three times, called, emailed multiple times and never heard back. Any company that is supposedly the best should start with their customer service. I then decided to look at their Facebook page and based on current customer reviews, there is no need to go here anymore, (be sure to check this out too). Don't waste your time like I did.
We’ve been bringing our puppy to Canine Clubhouse for a few months now and we can’t say enough about how great our experience has been. Paris and staff have helped us with many training issues and supported us immensely with answering questions and concerns about our puppy. The facility is the clean and well organized. We love it here!
Absolutely wonderful staff and welcoming environment for my #1 girl! Cage free play with several indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Discounts and boarding and daycare packages available! Grooming available. They take excellent care of the dogs, and separate the play groups by size of dog. They can accommodate crates if necessary, but free range is preferred. And they always throw holiday and birthday parties for the doggies!!! They update Facebook with photos and always welcome you with a smile!
I brought my 7 year old 115 lb Shepard lab mix the a few times last year. The last 2 times resulted in over $500 in vet bills. He got an ear infection every time he was groomed (Which he has NEVER had an ear infection), and come to find out they don't have a crate large enough for him to stand up in. He ended up getting injured because of this and has been limping ever since. I have been seeing a lot of negative reviews about this company on Facebook and im not surprised. I will never go back.
**unfair business practice** I’ve been taking my dog to the clubhouse for a year now. He was kicked out, rightfully so, because he’s just too wild. However, I purchased a package of daycare sessions in advance to take advantage of a bulk savings. I still have SIXTEEN PREPAID VISITS (A $450 COST) that will not be refunded to me. This is awful, as that is money to be used toward exercise and enjoyment for my dog, they won’t refund me so that I may find another daycare that would give him a shot. I can’t get an owner on the phone to discuss, I was offered store credit which is of no value to me. I will be happy to improve upon this review if I can discuss with the owner and come to an agreement.
Be careful of leaving your beloved dog here! All previous customers and staff left Canine Clubhouse earlier this year due to reports of animal abuse! Please just be cautious of your pets behavior if they love to go at first then don’t want to get out of car! It was very real and I worry about each and everyone of your 4 legged fur babies!
We stopped bringing our dogs here several months ago due to the multiple reports from staff of dog abuse. Most of the staff left too. The owner is strung out on drugs most of the time. Awful place, overcrowded, and abusive care takers. Would never go back. Besides that, actual management is a disaster, when we were going, toward the end no one would answer the phone, or get back to us from a message. We needed a partial refund from a faulty overcharge, only took a month to get it resolved.
I left several voicemails over the course of 4-5 business days in an attempt to schedule an appointment for my puppy. When I finally spoke with someone, she was rude and unprofessional. Perfect way to lose business. Keep up the good work.
Made appointments for my dog mon. Tues. And wed. Of this week. I show up on Monday at 8am with my super excited puppy to see its closed and they will be closed all week for "unforeseen construction". What? Did you just learn this Sunday night? Could you really not notify your customers with a quick phone call/voice message? Now I have to make arrangements on the fly and try to get back to work on time. Extremely irritating to make an appointment and show up to find out they just decided to close.
We take our dogs here for doggie daycare and boarding. Having used other facilities in the past. I think Canine Clubhouse is by far the best especially given the variety of things they offer. Very friendly and very well run.
My fur baby loves going to "school". They are loving & caring. Very happy & professional. Very clean & organized. My baby comes home gives hugs & goes to bed. Exhausted. Great staff & they are phenomenal with the dogs. Taken care of very well. Love them. Highly recommend
Best place ever! Very clean and very well supervised.
Cory’s Canine Cove is my puppy’s favorite place to be! He gets so excited on the car ride there and can’t wait to get in the door. The staff is super nice and it always smells good when I walk in. They post pics of your dogs playing on Facebook and always answer any questions I have. Highly recommend Cory’s!
Best daycare that I have brought my high energy crazy minded loud dog to!! Cory and staff work with each dogs individual needs to make sure they are as happy as they can be. When I drop my dog off she screams in excitement to get it, is sad to leave, and the best part is she falls asleep as soon as we get into the car. 11/10 would recommend. Picture is of my snow dog being cooled of in the summer sun so she doesn’t get overheated.
Inviting, clean and smells good when you walk in. Pup is always excited to go, and always exhausted from playing when she gets in the car to go home. Pricing is comparable to the doggy daycares in the area and the hours are perfect! Locations a little tricky the 1st time but not difficult to find once you have been there.
Best daycare around! The owner is very friendly and definitely cares about both the dogs and the customers. Never have run into any staff that isn’t just as friendly and helpful AND love that the outdoor area has a lot of turf so Chance doesn’t come home very dirty or smelly :)
Great spot to bring our bonkers dog! He gets lots of exercise and is nice and tired by the time he gets home. Owners are friendly and helpful and also offer packages at a discount for frequent visitors like our dog.
If you’re looking for a doggy daycare in the Liverpool area I highly recommend Cory’s Canine Cove! I started bringing my dog there a few weeks ago and it was the best decision ever! Extremely clean, great staff, and very reasonable prices. Great local small business!!
So amazing!! I brought my 4 year old pug Charlie there get her nails done. I used to cut her nails at home but she became so agitated and aggressive towards me I had to stop. Megan took care of Charlie and had them done so quickly! I was so impressed with how much Megan cared about my dog and how comfortable she made me feel! I will be taking Charlie here from now on 😊
Bringing my dog to daycare I thought my dog was able to run and play with the other dogs but not the case. The dogs were made to have nap time. My dog didn't always want to take a nap when they wanted him to there for they labeled him as a problem dog. I was told not to bring my dog back. Your dog has to be there before 10 o'clock. The business started to take on too many dogs in a small area and force out the larger dogs to take on smaller dogs. The play area outside has artificial turf which holds urine and bacteria. I wouldnt recommend them.
My dog loves it here! Day care is wonderful, everyone who works here is friendly, tells you about how your dog's day was and they post great pics of all of them. We also board our dog here because they have great add ons like long walks, frozen treats and activities, and grooming services for your pup while you are away. The app is easy to use to make day care and boarding reservations, but if you have any questions or problems, Jaime is very quick to respond to emails.
Fantastic owners, facility. I am confident that my dog will be care for, kept safe & loved each time I drop her off. Thank you for the being knowledgeable & making sure all the pups are safe when they are at the Ranch. I appreciate you being cautious & thoughtful. ☺️
Been taking my dog Brooks here for daycare and boarding over the last three years. Jaime runs the best spot in CNY for all of your daycare/grooming/boarding needs! Can’t recommend the Salty Dog Ranch enough!
I feel like a picture is worth 1,000 words in this case. My 1 year old husky, who has enough energy to power the eastern hemisphere, spends her drives home from The Ranch like this. The staff are so kind and really treat the dogs like their own. They also are really great about assessing temperament and making sure all of the dogs are safe. I recommend Salty Dog Ranch for anyone who loves their high energy dog but wants to like them all the time too! 😂
Best facilities and staff of any daycare in the area. Jamie and her team treat your dog like their own and make sure the environment is safe by doing a screening of any new dogs to gauge their temperament. We wouldn't take our dog to any other daycare.
Was so excited to get our puppy into doggy daycare and then was turned a way because they DO NOT separate their big and small dogs. Since this is a big facility you would think they would get with the times and separate based on dog size and temperament!!
The grounds are beautiful, the facilities clean and welcoming and the owner is lovely!
Great place for your pet and top notch facility! Jamie and her team are the best for any job. Our young pup got his first hair cut and it came out great. Will be repeat customers for a long time
We've never taken our dog to a better daycare. Every member of the staff we've met is 100% a dog person. Our dog is ALWAYS happy to go.
I took my 2 year old Goldendoodle here for grooming yesterday and I am so pleased with the whole experience! So professional, friendly, clean and they did an AMAZING job. 100% recommend!
I’ve been taking my dog, Romeo, here for many years and he absolutely loves it there. Highly recommended and the staff is wonderful!! He is a happy dog when he leaves there!
We love Canines Unleashed...and so do our two girls! They can't wait for "School" and have the best time there! It's safe for dogs of all sizes and they offer flexible drop off and pick up times! Our Labs have been going for almost two years and we couldn't be happier with the entire staff and the care they receive! If you're looking for quality day care with a full line of doggy essentials, give Chris at Canines Unleashed a call!
My dog had become a Completely different dog she actually likes to engage with other dogs and people. They are great with her and she enjoys going
Cupcake has consistently received quality care at Canine’s Unleashed since Sep 2020. The Owners have helped me with tips for puppy training, I often see the Staff in the Little Dog Room (on the live video) petting and holding the dogs, Peyton is always helpful at drop off, and Brie sometimes brushes Cupcake before I pick her up. That’s going above and beyond my expectations! Thank you, Canine’s Unleashed.
We dropped off our pup for her first day of doggie daycare and she loved it. Millie had a great time and it was a great alternative to having her in a crate all day while we couldn't tend to her. She came out having a great attitude and smelling nice too.
They may be alright for older / larger dogs, but my dog is a Boxer puppy ... too big to be with the small dogs but too young and inexperienced to be with the bigger dogs. As soon as I dropped him off it already looked like a bigger dog was being a little aggressive and rough with him and when I looked in on surveillance later in the day I saw the same thing. There are also a large number of dogs compared to staff on duty to manage them. He wasn’t given his food and I was told he didn’t want it because he was too busy having fun. Sounds a little hard to believe. I was also told when I picked him up to not let him drink too much water because “sometimes on the first day the dogs don’t learn where the water is”. I gave him water in the parking lot and he did drink a lot and would have drank more but I didn’t want him to get sick. Both the food and the water explanations sounded like excuses to me. I was also told that the reason the other dog was a bit aggressive with him is because my pup hasn’t been neutered yet. It’s possible I guess, but he hasn’t had any issues at the doggie daycare we take him in NC where we live. Overall just not a great experience. No owner on site either. At least not on the day I went. Like i said, the place might be alright for bigger older dogs but I wouldn’t take a puppy there because at this young age he needs to have positive experiences with other dogs.
Ann does and encourages her employees to crate dogs that have accidents on the floor. Also she has become overwhelmed with dogs and not enough staff which means dogs are left in alone at times. She says that you can watch your dog on camera but then says sorry the camera was down today! I also noticed my dog cowering when ever Ann was around. When I asked some employees they said she pinned the dogs down to get them to behave.Take notice on her employee turnover . Not a good sign .I have reported her to the authorities and they assured me that she WILL be getting surprise drop ins . Watch out ANN ! Maybe it’s time to give up this business! Please do NOT bring your dogs here!
This place is horrifying. Used to be a customer along with several other friends and their dogs. They treat the animals poorly (witnessed on camera) and when confronted about it the owner argues and berates you, and will blame you and tell you your dog is not welcome back. All of this has been seen on camera. I can’t imagine what happens when you’re not looking. I wouldn’t trust them with my animals. Go elsewhere.
I have been taking my dog Ruby to Canines Unleashed three times per week for the past seven years. The staff there has always been professional and caring. The facility is enormous, clean and well staffed. Ruby definitely gets a lot of exercise when she is there, as she is often tired out after 12 hours of play each day she goes. She’s now nearly 8 years old and still has the body condition of an athlete. Thank you for taking such great care of her! I would never consider taking her anywhere else.
This place needs a whole new team of employees or just shut down all together. My sister took her puppy here and he was kicked out because he was "disruptive" and "played too much"... I'm sorry but he's a puppy, what do you expect. He has been around many of dogs all his life and is always excited to see other dogs. He's the sweetest thing and would never be aggressive in any way. They locked him in a cage because they didn't want to handle his energy. Just from reading the reviews, I can see that people have had the same problem, which speaks volumes. This place sucks, and the staff abuse the animals. It's so infuriating that it isn't shut down already.
