Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.
Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!
Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Martin was a very conscientious and thoughtful house sitter who took excellent care of our pets and our home. He was reliable, self-sufficient, and a very good communicator. He clearly enjoys and cares for animals, and our house was spotless when we returned. We recommend him wholeheartedly!
Sharon was by far the best sitter I’ve ever had! From the very first time we connected, she was communicative and proactive with follow up. She asked great questions prior to her stay and I could tell she’s done this many times and that she genuinely cares about the pets and homes she cares for. Sharon went above and beyond to leave my house in ever better shape, cleaning and organizing. It was a dream to come home to! Thank you Sharon!
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.
I have had 4 pet sitters this year so far. And Liz was the best! She was wonderful with cats. She has an easy going manner and is very comfortable to be around. Very smart and she is a great communicator. She followed all directions and left the house spotless. I highly, highly, highly recommend her! I would have her again anytime!
Angela and Joe are wonderful house and pet sitters sitters in every way. They have a great loving way with animals and my shy dog warmed up to them right away. They are warm, organized, confident, and thorough. They communicated very well and gave me frequent updates and sweet photos of my dog Chica. They also took excellent care of my home. My only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time with them, because they're such lovely and interesting people. I give Angela and Joe my highest recommendation and feel that anyone would be very lucky to have them their sitters! I hope that they return to sit here again.
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

Wonderful place to board your pet. The ladies are super sweet and they were able to accommodate my (sorta) last minute trip down to the beach, not once but twice. I could tell Baylee was well taken care of. Will definitely use them again.
I’ve boarded my dog and 2 cats there twice. The people are super friendly and encourage bringing things for your pets from home to make them comfortable. I’d definitely use them again.
Received incorrect information about boarding. No one was in the kennel when we arrived ( at the time specified for us to drop off our dog) took them approximately 3 hours to return our call. All was well when we picked up our dog, but the front desk personnel was very slow in checking us out plus I feel the price for a week boarding was much higher than it should have been. I can tell you that our dog has to go to the veterinarian because she now has a very predominant limp of her left leg. So much she can hardly walk. She had NO LIMP when she was dropped off. I WOULD NOT USE THIS FACILITY EVER AGAIN.
My name is Louie, a 5 month old Poochon. My mom, dad and my brother had a vacation in Myrtle Beach so I stayed at Paws Inn. I had a big room, the bed is very comfy, I don’t bark, just felt funny when I saw other doggy barking at each other. I couldn’t help laughing at one of them peeing on the floor, why not on the pee pad? I was wondering 🤭. Karen took care of me like her own kids, took me for walk, gave me a bath, even giving me a bite of chicken, yummy, my favorite! I was so happy of spending 3 nights at this caring home and missed Karen and Patsy so much! Love you all 🐕
I took my dog Chuck who is a labordoodle to Krystal for grooming. She did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend her. Staff was also super friendly.
Wonderful place to take good care of your pet. My cat, Buttons, was very happy there and I was so pleased with how she was treated by these wonderful people. I will always use them again.
I love Paws Inn. This is the 3rd time I am using them. They took great care of my boy, he is a standard poodle. Why he was their I used the grooming service and Crystal did a great job on Blitz. There price are very reasonable for both kennel stay and grooming. I highly recommend them.
We have 2 rescues who are nervous about sounds a d like to have special treatment. They take great care and our dogs are not stressed when they leave. They look great and are happy
The best kennel we have ever used. I have been a dog owner for 30 years. I have needed to board our dogs on several occasions. Paws Inn truly loves animals and you can tell. Our dog is older now and we are so glad we found Paws Inn. Randy and Karen were wonderful and made us feel VERY confident as we left our older dog for a week. These ladies LOVE animals and their work. When we picked our dog up she smelled great, looked great, and seemed happy. She was asleep in her pen and very calm when I picked her up. I don't speak dog but my guess is she felt right at home at Paws Inn. We were delighted.
Could not ask for a better experience with our baby girl, Madison! On vacation in North Myrtle Beach where pets are not allowed...we felt so fortunate to find such a caring facility, especially Karen L & Karen P. We were able to take our girl on day trips every day & always found her healthy & happy. She didn't even mind returning...we had her groomed before leaving & they did a wonderful job with her. Madison is a diva & Paws Inn was GREAT!
Great place. The facility is large giving a big dog like mine plenty of space to play. They also do some neat things here; they send a “report card” with pictures telling you about your dog’s day. It’s great to see pictures of my dude while we’re away. Highly recommend this dog boarding facility, and I’ve used many!
We can't speak highly enough about Dog Boarding at the Beach they took excellent care of our dogs they even had their own christmas dinner and made several new friends they sent pictures and videos of them everyday and all we seen was them having a blast with the other dogs the staff are awesome with the dogs and treat them as if they were their own we will be recommending them to all our friends who travel Thanks again everyone for taking care of our dogs for the week
The staff at dog boarding at the beach is amazing. Not only do they take incredible care of the dogs they send the cutest report cards ever, letting the dog parent feel included in their experience! The staff I have interacted with always knows who my dog is and they are so welcoming to us! As a college student my dog does not get much social interaction with other dogs and I was nervous about how he would do his first go around here, but the staff ensures a safe introduction to their day camp! Since Milo’s first time being at Dog Boarding at the Beach he has been better at social interaction and better at managing his energy when he comes home! I was also nervous on how the workers would view me as a younger dog parent, but they are just incredibly kind! I will continue to bring my dog here as they are amazing!
I cannot say enough great things about Dog Boarding at the Beach! 🐾♥️ I started bringing my Chocolate Lab, Emmy here for daycare when she was just a puppy. She LOVES it! We have boarded her overnight and bring her for daycare about 4 days a week. She gets to play and interact with some great dogs and even better staff members. I love getting her picture updates and can’t say enough good things about Holly and her staff. Emmy is always so excited to get out of the car and to her friends ♥️
My dog had never been to doggy day care and hasn't been around many other new dogs either. We recently reloacted and need somewhere for our dog to be able to run and be around other dogs safely. They gladly took her in and slowly introduced her to new friends and in no time she was having a great time with all her brand new doggy friends! I can't say enough good about how calming they were, not only for my dog but for me as well. And how helpful they were through the whole process. This is definitely the only place I will be bringing my dog for daycare, boarding and grooming! Thanks for taking care of my Stella!
We had a last-minute trip to Myrtle Beach and were looking for a place to board our dog. Happily, we found Dog Boarding at the Beach. Not only did they have a space for her, but they took excellent care of her! She was a very happy puppy while she was there, and we are grateful we found them!
I recently took a vacation to the Myrtle Beach area, bringing along my 7 year old Puggle, Hamilton. While I wanted him to be a part of my vacation, dogs aren’t able to go everywhere with us and I didn’t want him to be alone in an unfamiliar hotel room. So, I found Dog Boarding at the beach and set up a stay. The booking online was super convenient and transparent. The prices are extremely reasonable. When I dropped Hamilton off, I was afraid, as this was a new experience for the both of us. He was my late father’s dog and he’s been glued to my hip since he came to live with me a few months ago. The staff put my mind at ease when I left that first day. They take so many pictures, videos, and send a report card at the end of the day. It put a smile on my face waiting to see what Hamilton was doing and the report cards gave me comfort that he was safe, cared for, and living his absolute best life making friends- dogs and humans alike. Hamilton is a cuddly little fellow and the staff made sure to show him so much love in my absence. At the end of his stay, we also did the grooming package. They made sure he was clean, nails were clipped, and his little teeth that hang out of his mouth have never been cleaner lol! If you’re looking for somewhere to board your dog and want to have the comfort of knowing that they will be cared for to the fullest extent, this is the place. Thank you so much for everything!
We feel very fortunate that we found Dog Boarding at the Beach kennel. It truly feels like a family, and we are grateful. We were concerned as Lucky is almost 13 years old, and we weren’t sure how she would adapt. She really enjoys it there. Thank you for your hospitality to my beloved furry friend.🐾❤️ …
BBATB was the most amazing gift to my family during our vacation. We were devastated when we found out that our 1 year old Cavachon willow was not allowed to come to our resort with us. She has never been boarded before and comes with us everywhere. We were so happy to find this wonderful place. From the very first day the staff was so kind and patient and helpful and made me feel so at ease leaving my baby with them. We looked forward to the daily report cards that came every night and they made our hearts so happy to see all the pictures of our puppy playing, having fun, and getting spoiled by the staff. Thank you so much to this wonderful place and the amazing staff for being so caring and loving to all of their furry friends and for taking such wonderful care of ours. We can’t wait to take Willow back on our next Myrtle Beach vacation.
Dog Boarding at the Beach is hands down the BEST place to board your dog!!! Our dog Jax (left) is 7 and we’ve boarded him throughout his life but this place takes the cake. They asked all of the right questions when we came in to drop him off and he had the most wonderful time with his new friends. We loved getting the report card with pictures at the end of the day and the thoughtful summary of what he did & who he hung out with! I truly don’t know how they get so many photos with all of the dogs running around lol. I’ve never worried less about him when we were out of town and that peace of mind is such a gift. He had such a great time that we will be signing him up for daycare so he can have more fun. Thank you guys so much for caring about Jax like he was your own!!!
Our dog loves this place. So much better than a dog park outside. These dogs are vetted and all behave. Our dog runs to the door to be let in and play time is supervised and a blast. These owners love dogs and it shows.
Ruffin It Doggy Grooming is a delightful spot for your furry friend's grooming needs. The staff there exudes warmth and kindness, instantly making both pets and owners feel welcome. What stands out the most is their exceptional service. They did a fantastic job with Riley, leaving him looking immaculately clean and happy. It's evident that they not only prioritize cleanliness but also the overall well-being of the pets. Highly recommended for their friendly service and outstanding grooming skills.
Our family loves Ruffin It Doggie Daycare! Our one year old doodle cannot be left alone all day, and this has been great for her allowing us worry free time on vacation. They love their customers and go above and beyond. They even had a birthday party for our pup. It is clean, air conditioned, and well supervised
Carson has been grooming my very timid toy poodle since we moved here two years ago. He always does a fabulous job and Remi always is calm and ready to go (not his usual reticent attitude). I am more then pleased with Carson and the staff at Ruffin It and highly recommend them.
Our girl loves to go to Ruffinit. It’s a great opportunity for her to interact with lots of other dogs in a supervised and climate controlled environment.
Bella LOVES going to doggy daycare here! She always gets so excited when we tell her we’re going to go play with her friends! The staff is beyond nice, helpful, and trustworthy. Bella is a very timid rescue, and daycare has been the best thing to help her come out of her shell.💕 …
My husband and I highly recommend Ruffin It Doggy Daycare! The staff is an exceptional group of people that go out of their way to help you with all your dog’s needs. The facility is always so clean and neat! My grand puppy goes there often and he loves it❣️
Revised one year later: Worth every penny. They are so good with our 2 high spirited pups. The owner is hands on and ensures every dog is well taken care of. Great experience. The prices are a little high but the dogs were happy.
They seem to be good with the day care side of things but do NOT let them groom your dog, especially if your dog has any hair length. The guy that grooms obviously has zero thought as to what grooming a dog means. Utter disaster.
Have had wonderful experience. My puppy is so excited to go to daycare. People have been very friendly and helpful everytime we’ve been there. Have also used grooming and was very satisfied and had many compliments on the cut.
I adopted a Golden that had very little training on basics and had several bad habits. After only four sessions my dog is responding much better and now is quite controllable. I highly recommend Kathy for your go to trainer!!!
Their training skills are amazing. Very nice people to work with.
My puppy LOVES this place! Great folks running it and she has so many friends to play with year round. Love the summer misting, pools and shade they provide during hot months. Always clean, safe and fun.
Our dog Seamus goes there 2 days a week for daycare and gets super excited every time. They have a great and professional staff. I highly recommend.
If you new a great groomer they are your place. Audra's, Cindy, and Ashley are amazing! They can typically get u in quick. I also love the facility. The staff is amazing and so helpful!!!
We had a reservation to board our 2 dogs then the day before we called to make shure everything was all set and they said they were booked and had no reservation for us. Then to top it off they called us 15 minuts later wondering if we were looking to board our dogs or grooming. Sounds like Joe Biden is running the show.
My dog always enjoys coming to play at Doggone Healthy! They make sure she's well exercised and played with. She always comes home a happy dog. :)
Took good care of my puppies. They did a great job in grooming. I will take them back when they need grooming again.
My miniature Sheltie has a ball at playtime! He loves going. Heather & Jesse are the best!
Awesome!!! My dog usually mopes when I leave her somewhere but she LOVES this place!
Took great care of our one eyed senior rescue baby!
Nice ladies run this establishment. Just popped in for treats.
These one star reviews are ridiculous. Debbie, Steve, and Katy are some of the most caring animal handlers around! Everytime our pups have gone there we have nothing but confidence in them! LIFELONG CUSTOMERS RIGHT HERE!!!
My Maltipoo has been going here for 7 years. Hes been boarded and gets his regular grooming done. THEY ARE GREAT! Debbie is a wonderful women. And my dog is not an easy dog to get along with either - bad attitude!
We have been taking our dogs to Diamond A for about 18 years now, dogs passed and present. Debra and Katie take great care of them. They bathe and groom them if requested and they do a great job! I would not take my pets to any other kennel in this area. I highly recommend them!
We have boarded our dogs at Diamond A Kennels numerous times the last three years and have had great service every time. They are attentive, professional and competitively priced. Our Chocolate Lab, Rocky, absolutely loves the staff. We recommend them with enthusiasm.
I can't begin to express the depth of my admiration and gratitude for Debra and Steven, the incredible owners of Diamond A Kennels. Their passion for animal welfare is unmatched, and their impact on our community is profound. Over the years, they have selflessly helped hundreds of homeless and injured dogs and cats, often going above and beyond to ensure these animals receive the care they desperately need. I’ll never forget the day I was on my way to work and came across a dog that had been hit by a car and left for dead. The poor dog’s leg was nearly severed, and she was in agony. Without hesitation, I called Debra and Steven. They dropped everything and rushed to the scene. Steven immediately took the dog to the emergency vet, where, thanks to their quick action, her life was saved. This is just one of the many selfless acts they have performed over the years, without acknowledgment or public recognition. Their deep compassion for animals and their dedication to making a difference in their lives is truly inspiring. Our community is incredibly fortunate to have them. - Francesca Slaughter, Former Vice-President of Operations, RACE RESCUE
The best experience ever. Had to evacuate from hurricane Helene. Debra and Cat were the BEST EVER. We were able to visit our dog And that was soooo special. When we picked Molly up she had a bath and a new shark bandana. We will use her again!!!!! Thank God for small businesses like this !!
0 stars!! DON’T BRING YOUR DOGS HERE! My parents boarded our 2 young healthy dogs and 1 of them died while being “cared for” here. Based on what we saw when our dog’s body was picked up, looks like possible neglect and dehydration were the cause but that’s our opinion. Do your research about this place. Healthy pup about to turn 3 years old was “fine 1 day and dead the next”. Stuff like that doesn’t just happen overnight to a healthy happy dog. So many different stories from the owner Debbie of why our dog died, all outrageous reasonings that don’t even make sense. Completely unprofessional and no compassion, empathy or regard for dogs lives. Tried to carry out a normal conversation like my sister was just casually picking up groceries but instead she was picking up our deceased family pups body after our 2, almost 3 year old girl dog passed away under this kennels care. Trying to get a straight, direct and honest answer from this place is a joke. Absolutely no transparency from Debbie or this kennel in general. Do your own research on how many dog deaths have happened at this place because they sure as hell won’t disclose it. Don’t ever bring your dogs here!!!!!!!!
So many things to say here. It all went wrong when I showed up for pickup. Paid for a departure service of a bath and confirmed with the owner several times through the week I would be there at 8 am Saturday morning and was told “we will have him ready to go!”. When I showed up, no bath had been given so I had to sit and wait for that to be done because we had a 5 hour drive home and the place smells like urine. When we get in the vehicle, his bag of food from that morning was still in there so he had not been fed. Giving them the benefit of the doubt here because it was an early pick up. Shortly after our stay, I start noticing little rice-looking pieces in his bed. Sure enough he has tapeworms. I keep him up to date on all flea and tick treatments and vaccinations, so the vet says this can simply come from ingesting a flea and we pinned it down to his stay here. I never leave reviews on google, but needless to say I hope the right person sees this before making the choice to board your babies here. The risk for sickness is just not worth it to not say something.
If I could give them zero stars I would. My experience with this kennel has been so horrible. PET PARENTS - BEWARE On July 31, 2024, I dropped off my two dogs, both healthy. My male German shepherd is 3 and my female shepherd would have been 3 this October. On August 13, the day before my daughter was set to pick them up, I get a call from Debbie, the owner, that my female puppy died. She doesn’t know why, just that the dog went to sleep and then never woke up the next morning. I’ve been given excuses as to the possibility of what happened- the barometric pressure was low (hurricane Debby was the week BEFORE my dog died and that wouldn’t cause a dog to die), to being told my dog was very anxious during the thunderstorms (which she was never afraid of storms) so I asked why I didn’t get a call if my dog was that anxious to then be told she wasn’t that anxious to then being told she could have possibly ingested rat poison or ate a rat that had been poisoned (and of course Debbie said they don’t put down rat poison so it wasn’t at their kennel - maybe someone had previously put down the poison in my yard which is just insane because the previous owner had a dog and a child that played in the backyard - this rat poison explanation was just recent). So many red flags that came up after my dog’s death. And I found out another person’s dog died almost a month before my pup. And the circumstances are similar- healthy dog, behaved normally the night before. The dog was supposed to get picked up (on July 16) so when they went to get him for his bath, the dog was found deceased. I know many people have had positive experiences here and others have had not so positive experiences. Healthy dogs just don’t go to sleep and never wake up. I know anything can happen anywhere, but I’ve been lied to and my dog and the other dog that passed away in July aren’t the only ones. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. God bless🙏🙏
I've known Debbie for more forty years and have known her to be a loving person, when it comes to an animal. When we worked together, people in our work crews would laughed at how many stray animals Debbie would take home and nurse them back to health. She would bring pictures of these animals showing their sometimes remarkable recovery. Debbie has always been an advocate for animals.
Although the pets at this doggy daycare facility are well taken care of, what goes on behind the scenes between management and employees isn’t something to overlook. The employees are treated quite poorly by management. Often, they get reprimanded and called names for dogs, simply being dogs. Not every pet is perfect and things can happen. Sadly, the employees face the wrath of useless management for this. Overall, your pet is mostly safe and will not be neglected at this facility because of the great staff, but no business is perfect.
My cats survived and were medicated properly. Even thought they're ruthless and can be quiet aggressive with strangers. Happy to report they seemed perfectly healthy and safe the whole trip. Employees were very friendly and accommodating.
Lollipop LOVES her pals at The Diggs!!! The staff go above and beyond to ensure your pets are receiving the best care possible. There is nobody else I’d trust more with my dog! 💕 …
My dog Dahlia has been attending daycare at The Diggs for 5 years now!!! I can not say enough good things about this place. It is a truly great feeling to know that my dog is being well taken care of while I am at work every day. We could all use one less thing to worry about. Don't hesitate to put your trust in these amazing people. They haven't let us down yet! The extras are just icing on the cake. The party pics and report cards never fail to brighten my day ❤️ Thanks, yall, for always doing the best job!
After our horrific experience at A Country Kennel, we were hesitant to leave our baby, Whiskey, at a kennel altogether. But so far he is having a blast!!! He has a daily report card and the staff seem to love him. Your dog has to pass a temperament test to be in doggy daycare, which is awesome! I am not worried about him while I am away from home, which that is a HUGE relief after what we experienced over new years at ACK. They provide photos and tracking of daily food and meds. Price is comparable to the area as well and you get very nice care! Will be bringing him back here again for sure! Can’t wait to see more of his report cards.
I take my little Monkee here for boarding and for her vet appointments. The entire staff is just wonderful -- absolutely lovely people. I can tell they really love Monkee and take good care of her and that's why I keep bringing her back. They send little "report cards" that include pictures and how their day went and how much they ate, etc. This place is a gem and they have my complete trust.
My dog Palmer loves the Diggs, especially in the summer when the pool is open :) The staff is so friendly , and it's easy to make reservations. Definitely recommend!
They went above and beyond several times for my mother when she went into the hospital. Her little dog Cassie was well loved by all at The Diggs and I'm so thankful for the care they gave her. Highly recommend!
Our two girls regularly board and attend daycare at the diggs and we couldn’t be any happier with the service here. Their professionalism, knowledge of animals, and care they provide is second to none. We have never had a bad experience here and can’t recommend the diggs enough!
My dogs absolutely love The Diggs!!! They always get super excited when we pull into the parking lot and love all the attention from the super friendly staff!!!!
