Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.
Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.
Anant was a great sitter and a friendly guy. Kept me up to date re his arrival and with Marie & Toulouse during the sit. Found my house exactly as I had left it. Would highly recommend Anant to other pet parents.
Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier. She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
Bard and Kim are amazing house sitters and pet care givers. I would recommend them over and over. I wish I could add numbers to the scale. They would get a 10+. Bard and Kim were super easy to work with, efficient, self-sufficient, and considerate. They took immaculate care of my home; it was definitely cleaner after they left! I would recommend them without hesitation over and over.
Megan and her partner were INCREDIBLE pet & house sitters during my 5 days away last month. I received consistent communication in the form of updates & photos and I had the true sense that Megan was invested in the wellbeing of my animals and truly enjoyed being with them! My house was CLEANER than I left it (immaculate!) and she left a sweet card thanking us upon our return. Truly the best sitting experience I've had thus far, thank YOU so much!
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Debra was a Great pet and house sitter !! She communicated well throughout our long trip and sent us frequent pictures of all of our pets. She watered our plants and brought in all the mail. Our home was immaculate when we arrived home and the dogs and cat were super happy !! I would recommend Debra as a wonderful, responsible and reliable pet and house sitter !
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

My dog regularly goes to Mind Your Paws and leaves me without a backward glance!! The facilities are excellent and the staff are all very caring and lovely with the dogs. I have no worries at all about leaving Max with them and I often get video updates. On the occasion he needed a vet while I was on holiday I was immediately contacted and kept fully informed about his progress. I wouldn’t consider taking him anywhere else - very happy with everything
We’ve been taking our bonkers Rizsla the Vizsla to MYP since a young pup , he’s 2 yrs old now. Genuinely a great experience from start to finish. It’s clear he is very well cared for and happy because when we come to pick him up he doesn’t want to leave ! That’s a big endorsement. We get wonderful photos of him when he’s there. He’s definitely improved overall in his character and behaviour especially with other dogs as he gets lots of attention and playtime and I can’t thank the team enough. So great place great team great experience.
What can I say, absolutely fantastic place to send your beloved pooch. I was stuck as I had a wedding and our usual dog babysitter let us down. So after many searches I came across Mind Your Paws. I spoke to Debbie who did her best to fit us in at such short notice. I took Sandi to the kennels so I could introduce her to Cooper who kindly showed us around. I was greatly impressed. The individual pens are large, comfortable and have their own heating. The exercise areas are Huuuuuuuuggeeeeee, more than enough room for the largest of dogs. They were kind enough to share a video of Sandi playing with a new friend that was staying there at the same time. They looked like they were having a whale of a time. Now, I have to be honest, it's not the cheapest of kennels. However, it's certainly the best I've ever seen. Put it like this..... it's the difference between you staying at a travel lodge to a Hilton hotel. This place with all it's amenities and luxuries is definitely a Hilton hotel for dogs. I cannot recommend this fantastic place enough. If you love your dog, you cannot go wrong with Mind Your Paws. Thank you Debbie, Cooper and everyone working at Mind Your Paws, you are amazing.
Debbie and the team are more than perfect for boarding your dogs, we had our two mini sausages stay the night recently and they was both really looked after brilliantly! We’re confident they will be fine for the next two bookings we have with mind your paws whilst we go travelling as a couple ❤️ Debbie and the team can send photos or videos upon request and she even treated them to some chicken 😍 thank you so much a massive delight !!
Went to have a look round the other day and were really impressed. Lovely owners, well staffed and they really seem to care about the dogs and cats in their care. We've booked for 2 dogs and 2 cats for next year. Go and have a look you won't be disappointed
Upon looking around the kennels for the very first time Debbie was extremely friendly and assured me and my partner that herself and her team were able to look after and care for energetic pup to a high standard. Going forward we decided that our pup went in for a few nights. Debbie assured us that there would be communication as my partner was very sceptical on leaving him. Upon collecting him after the few days and taking him home, we discovered that he has several bites marks on him, very thin and was rushed into the vets with a serve vial infection and conjunctivitis in both eyes. We did make Debbie aware about our pup being ill and see did seem concerned and invited us in for a chat and was happy to waver the cost of the stay and the consultant fee of the vets to try and put her mistakes of a business right. Me and my partner decided that we would give Debbie and her team another go as she couldn’t have been more apologetic. Following on from this we did book another stay. Contact from Debbie was fantastic because she knew she had done wrong preciously His final visit after collecting him on Sunday was appalling. No communication was given even though she Previously promised to try harder and make her team aware. He came home Malnourished and excessive bite marks around his neck. Since raising our concerns to Debbie yet again she has now turned around and told us that she doesn’t want him back to stay anymore. Hearing this from a business owner is disgusting!! Avoid at all costs!!!
My little dog recently stayed here for 12 nights. Was his first time going to kennels . I was a bit worried as I know how timid he can be. But I wasn't to worry as they helped him come out of his shell enough to he comfortable around them and the other dogs 5* service and I will be using them again
Our 2 dogs have just returned from 12 nights at Mind Your Paws, they have returned home settled and well, it was lovely to receive a video of them while we were away 🥰 Debbie, Cooper and their staff do a fantastic job and give us total peace of mind, we totally recommend them.
My three dogs boarded with Mind your Paws a few weeks ago They had never been in kennels before and I was slightly worried how they would cope They all appeared happy when I collected them would definitely send them there again
Just called today with my wife and our 2 dogs Dottie and Bandit for a look around with a view to boarding our dogs out next year, and to be honest with you we were blown away with the set up, we were first met by Debbie the owner who gave us a detailed talk and tour of the facilities, which included taking our dogs in so they could experience the kennels as well, what an amazing set up, a meet and great paddock which our dogs had a fun time in meeting Winnie and another Dottie they all got on fantasticly well, a look at the actual kennels they'll be boarding in with heated flooring a fan for summer and cctv to keep an eye on them at all times and then onto the playing field which as a multiple of play things for the dogs, needless to say we will be booking them in as soon as we can.... A big thanks to Debbie and Cooper
Bella absolutely loves coming to see auntie liz and auntie keeley for a day of fun with her friends. Reasonably priced and my dog is always happy and looked after.
Liz really goes above and beyond and looks after your pets like they're her own, awesome service and I am very grateful she managed to make room for our two cats at short notice. Our cats will definately be staying here again!
Lovely place to walk the dogs and not worry they'll escape. Not just a flat field and has lots of interesting places for your dogs to have a sniff and explore. Owner very nice and friendly. 😃 …
My first time using a cattery. Chose Lea Wood as it had good reviews. Upon dropping Maddie off owner was saying how busy they are. Upon collecting Maddie, received complaint my cat was under their feet when around her and kept messing the cat litter around and it needed tidying all the time. My cat was returned to me with the words- she was fine an hour ago but her back legs are now limp and they suggested I take her to the vets. Vets said not sure whether it was a clot from injury or because of age. I was explained to that she needs to be put to sleep. Heart broken. I know she was an older cat but not a good experience. Cattery did send a message to ask how she was.
My Daughters dog who is 7 month's now goes here. He love's it always wants to stay he gets to mix with other dogs. The Family and the staff really care and make him a happy dog. Thanks 😊 …
Excellent facilities. Extremely caring owners. My cat has been very happy and well looked after in this cattery for the many times he has stayed in the 14 years of his life.
Liz and her family are amazing and lovely and I know that when my cat stays he is so loved and looked after, I wouldn't go anywhere else
Nothing is too much trouble. Liz looks after the cats for me and comes and picks them up and drops them off too. I am disabled and would have trouble but because the Cattery does this for free in Gainsborough it is a godsend for me. A beautiful place run by lovely, caring people.
Hegarty and Hettie would like to say a big thank you for a very nice stay. We were well look after and the food was good. Our Mum says she thinks we have put on weight. …
I was really worried about my leaving my baby anywhere. Have looked and looked for a cattery in the area - we must have seen 20 over an 80 mile radius but none come close to this one. So happy to have eventually found one we can trust. I …
