We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.
Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.
Samantha and Scott are great sitters and we enjoyed hearing from them a couple of times while we were away. Our pets were very relaxed and happy too! Very happy to recommend them.
Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. K & C gave us pics & updates as requested, and we loved seeing our pets have such a good time with them! They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! They were communicative before the sit, during, and after. Kelly and Chris were the ideal sitters in every way. We’d welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to others. Thanks you two!
Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.
Deboraj took great care of the apartment and of our goofy unsociable cat. She went out of her way to bring catnip and make friends with Rowan. She communicated often and cared to be as good a house and pet sitter as could be. I can gladly recommend her highly to anyone else looking. Thank you Deborah.
Angela and Joe are wonderful house and pet sitters sitters in every way. They have a great loving way with animals and my shy dog warmed up to them right away. They are warm, organized, confident, and thorough. They communicated very well and gave me frequent updates and sweet photos of my dog Chica. They also took excellent care of my home. My only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time with them, because they're such lovely and interesting people. I give Angela and Joe my highest recommendation and feel that anyone would be very lucky to have them their sitters! I hope that they return to sit here again.
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

Have a staffy with feet that suffer from bad allergies meaning long tiring walks are often out of the question. The pool allows him to burn off his energy without more wear and tear on his paws and without the risk of clashing with other dogs. Love that life jackets are provided as he sinks like a brick!
Thank you for looking after our boy Rocky. Rocky is a rescue dog and can be difficult with strangers however, Stan made me feel very comfortable with his kind approach to Rocky. Thank you so much will definitely use again!
The pool here is awesome. My boy has a green stick fracture in his paw so isn't allowed to run about the pool means we can still exercise him without hurting him. The pool has steps or a ramp down into the water. There are life vests of all sizes for your dogs. My dog doesn't swim but absolutely loved this. I think a few more times and he won't even use a life vest.
We heard about the pool from our dog trainer as our girl wasn't confident in swimming. Since we've been taking her here she has grown confident in the water and now loves swimming! Life jackets are provided which is a bonus! The separate entrances to let yourself in and leave out the back at is so convenient and means our girl doesn't get too excited as she doesn't have to see other dogs coming and going. Highly recommend it!
I heard about the pool from a friend and took both my dogs to swim yesterday, and my daughter took hers to swim today. The facility is so well set up with a separate entrance for entering and leaving so your dogs do not see anyone coming in after you. The pool is beautiful and big, and the flotation devices provided are an absolute plus. Our dogs had the absolutely best time. Could not highly recommend this pool more for dog owners who would love to provide warm swimming therapy for their dogs. Well done to the owners for providing a safe place for the dogs to enjoy the water.
My dogs (Morty and Ruby) seem to love it here. Well, I think so. I took them here for a second time and they were excited to be met by the owners. They remembered the owner. So, I think that was a good sign. I have not had that experience with the larger kennels. Nice couple that owns it.
Easy, straight forward and super nice! Took my 5 month old pup and he enjoyed his first swim lesson. No place like this and its super affordable!
My dog loves this place. He is able to get in and out of the heated pool with his bad legs because there is a ramp for him to use. We can also get in with him if he needs help.
The hydrotherapy pool is fantastic. Great idea for any dogs that need non weight baring exercise or even those who are just not water confident. Steps and ramp make getting in and out so easy. Clean and well thought out. Life jackets available in all sizes. Highly recommended.
It's great place to take your lovely pup in, just make sure to brush your dog and if need it pre rinse your dog, roof that you make sure the water from the pool is in a great shape for the next doggie. I'd love a open pool area, for those hot days, but I can't complain, our doggies deserve all the best and Fur Kidz is definitely one of those places.
My Peanut was well looked after and even got a cow hoof to take home! He slept all the following day after coming home, so he must've had a great time with the other dogs. Haley seemed very knowledgeable and cared greatly for the dogs staying at the resort.
Kennel recommendation We just returned from 4 nights away. First time the trouble makers have gone into kennels. Like any fur baby parent we were nervous about leaving them. Especially Bronson still being an entire male. I felt safer knowing they were in kennels than left at home with a stranger. Haley von Halla is amazing, dropping them at the kennels we were so comfortable and drove away relieved. Haley messaged as with updates of how they were going. We picked up two happy, healthy, relaxed dogs. So good to know we can go away again and not stress about them.
Our pup boarded there for the weekend and seemed to have enjoyed her stay! She came back to us smelling fresh and obviously was well cared for. Would recommend their services!
I would not hesitate in recommending to board your fur baby at Canning Vale Pet Resort, Haley and the team treated my dog like one of their own. I was made to feel at ease leaving my dog for the first time, the highest quality food, spacious King Size kennels, lots of green grass to run around on and lots of love and pats as well. When I went to pick my Pup up, he was having so much fun he didn't want to come home because it's a home away from home. Thank you so much, we will be back🤗
Haley is so lovely and took the time to talk to us and hear our situation and concerns given our dog can be very anxious, very unsure with strangers and the awful experience we had at another kennel. Our first appointment went so well and our girl loved Haley. The next appointment we had our girl stay for a couple of days and when we showed up she was having a good time sniffing and having a wander in her outdoor pen area. Honestly Haley is the best and her facilities are great highly recommend
I would highly recommend to place your furry friend in Haley's hands when you need somewhere for them to stay. Hayley has years of experience and being a rotti breeder, there is no one else I trust to leave our boy Kaiser when we go away, then with Hayley at Canningvale Pet Resort. Whether we are going away for the weekend or for a few weeks, with lots of space for kaiser to play and a smaller kennel, they are the best in the biz. I love that Hayley always let's him play outside before placing him into his kennel and we get to see him run around before we leave, this gives us piece of mind everytime and he loves it!
I would highly recommend CanningVale Pet Resort to anyone who treasures their pets . Our pug and staffy puppy were in wonderful hands and came home happy, calm and exhausted from 5 days of fun and love. Haley’s business is as professional and friendly as the initial impression of her manicured green lawns and beautiful clean kennels. I immediately felt at ease, this visit being our first. We will definitely be back soon.
I took my gorgeous Rottweiler ”Cooper” to Canning Vale Pet Resort for the first time recently. Haley done a superb job of taking care of our boy while we went on vacation. The facility is fantastic... and his dog run was extremely clean with a lovely bed for him. He is going back for a mini vacation while we get married and go on our honeymoon next month. I highly recommend this boarding facility. Your pets will be very well looked after and much loved by Haley. 😊
I highly recommend this place. I was worried to leave my grey hound as he is highly anxious and was having some issues with his gut health however when I picked him up he was sooooo happy and they even washed his bed after he had pooped on it. The staff would have been so attentive as the way they described him was was exactly how he is at home. The owner (I think she was the owner) was also so lovely. She gave me lots of helpful advice and was willing to answer millions of my annoying questions! I will definitely be rebooking my boy back in for future stays.
Amazing kennels, first time leaving our puppy whilst away and he was looked after so well, he didn’t want to leave! 100% will be sending him back here in the future. They also did updates of how he was getting on while we were away - so great to have!
It was our pup’s first time being away from us and we didn’t feel comfortable having him stay in a Kennel nor with dog sitter. The Ruff Barn was exactly what we were looking for!! Dacie has an animal science and health background and knows what to do with pups. She is very professional and we trust her in providing the best advice for our pup. We felt comfortable while we were away as she sent us updates with photos and videos. We were happy to see our pup playing with other dogs and sleeping together in a very cozy environment. Thank you Dacie for the great service!! We will definitely be coming back🩵🐻❄️🩵
I recently boarded my black Shiba Inu at The Ruff Barn for three weeks, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. This was his first long-term boarding, and I was nervous, but Dacie was incredibly helpful and attentive. She made sure Huoguo felt right at home, providing the comfort and care he needed. If you have a sensitive dog and are looking for a second home for them while you're away, I highly recommend The Ruff Barn. It's a fantastic place where dogs are treated with love and kindness!
Dacie & theruffbarn. An absolute sanctuary. This is our 1st time leaving Oztin. Booking, communication, meet & greet was great. 10days away & we could tell from the pics sent by Dacie & following the IG & FB postings. Oztin was well taken care & totally spoilt. He must hv had such a blast. Came home today with us happy & now sleeping so well. Looks like we are ready for our next trip in Dec!! Thank u Dacie for taking such good care of Oztin 🤍🤎🐶
Our dog, Charlie, is your typical anxious and needy rescue. Though we were the anxious ones when we had to find a place for him while we went away for 3 weeks. The Ruff Barn ended up being the perfect place for him; Charlie was so well taken care of! With an environment that simulated life at home, we were happy to hear that Charlie settled right in. Dacie also provides updates during your pet's stay, which is great for fur parents with separation anxiety hehe. The Ruff Barn - 100% will recommend!
The Ruff Barn is our go-to place for doggy daycare and boarding (even though we live NOR). We are so glad to have found a safe space for our girls to socialise, and have seen such a growth in their confidence since attending Ruff Barn. We’ve also felt assured boarding them at Ruff Barn because Dacie treats them as we would. She maintains their routines, administers their meds and lets them live indoors and close by. My favourite bit is the photo and video updates to let us know how they are going! She shows genuine care for the dogs and we could not recommend her more.
Our GSP, who normally suffers from separation anxiety loves her time a The Ruff Barn. It’s reassuring to know she is being well looked after by Dacie. We also receive photos & videos daily whilst we are away, which is comforting.
Finding Dacie and The Ruff Barn has been amazing as there’s a place I trust and have peace of mind to leave my dog. This was the first holiday that we left Loki behind, and he was very well looked after. Dacie sent regular photo and video updates and went above and beyond to ensure Loki ate properly (as he is a fussy eater), which was very reassuring and thoughtful. Loki was relaxed and happy when he got home, which shows just how well he was being taken care of and how much he enjoyed his stay. I can’t recommend Dacie enough, and The Ruff Barn is definitely my go to for doggy care :)
Our two springer spaniels stayed with Dacie for two weeks while we went overseas. It was the first time we had put our dogs in boarding and we couldn’t be happier with the experience and level of care we received for our fur babies! From the get go the response and communication from Dacie was prompt, professional and reassuring. Our dogs have two very different temperaments which Dacie managed so well. We received daily updates, photos and videos and our dogs had the best time. The dogs who board stay inside with Dacie which gives it such a homely experience which other boarding facilities just don’t provide. We will be recommending The Ruff Barn to all of our friends and family and won’t be going anywhere else!
Dacie has been helping care for our dog Molly for approximately 8 months now with a combination of day care and overnight stays when we are away. I am very happy with her service. Molly absulutely loves being with Dacie. She is reliable and professional. Dacie has always sent photos and videos of Molly to me whilst she is caring for her and I have appreciated this. She genuinely cares for dogs and it shows. So if you are looking for a quality dog carer look no further than The Ruff Barn.
Our fur baby stayed with Dacie for 2 weeks as we went away internationally and we are soooo happy we chose the ruff barn. We were updated daily with videos and photos and his adventures. When he needed to go to the vet (for a little rash) Dacie acted fast and kept in contact and tended to his antibiotics and cream to help him heal. We are so so grateful for all her love and care, our big baby is so happy and healthy and had the best time! He even laid on the floor our the front of her house and refused to come home 😂 THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN! Would definitely recommend xxxx
We had our elderly German Shepherd called Rex, stay with the boarding kennel for two weeks in the past. He was well cared for and he enjoyed his stay. Knightsbridge Kennels look after the pets very well and are good at customer service. Will definitely use them again in the future.
Donna and Kevin boarded our two large German Shepherds for us over the Anzac Day long weekend. Donna was very responsive and it was easy to book the dogs in. We were able to pay by direct deposit, which was very convenient. When I went to pick the dogs up it was clear they had enjoyed their stay and were well taken care of at Knightsbridge Kennels. I noticed that on our way out of the kennel area, both dogs knew how to get to the large grassy run and had obviously had the opportunity to enjoy the space during their stay. We will definitely be booking our dogs in when we're next out of town.
Thankyou so much Donna and Kevin for taking great care of our rescue dogs Gaby and Boss . We were a little anxious about leaving them both as they are a little nervous in new surroundings . We didn’t need to worry at all as they settled in nicely with the love and expert care from Donna and Kevin , and even enjoyed watching the goats through the fence at play time. Donna and Kevin are extremely knowledgeable and the kennels are extremely clean and comfortable . Needless to say we have rebooked our fur babies in for another break as we were so happy with the care they received . We highly recommend Knightsbridge boarding kennels and we will not leave our dogs with anyone else . 5 stars .
Lovely, friendly staff, who were very accomodating and provided reassurance for my anxiety :). The facilities were very clean and i loved the open green space where the dogs had a play. Our dog seemed very happy and relaxed when i picked him up.
I highly recommend Knightsbridge. Immaculate facilities run by caring and friendly animal lovers. Thank you Donna and Kevin, we’ll be back and I know Murphy will be so happy to return.
Donna and Kevin are very easy to talked with no other dramas they let us booked in advance for our furbaby... Hoping to meet you soon...
Mason stayed here for a few nights over Easter and loved his stay. Thank you for taking good care of him!
Fantastic kennel with truly dog loving owners. I had my three English Mastiffs stay with Knightsbridge and they were very happy dogs!
Kevin and Donna are amazing. I wouldn't take our doggo anywhere else for his holidays.
Thank you for taking such good care of Georgie. I can tell she had a great time.
Doz & Catz Retreat is amazing! Tab and the team take the absolute best care of our Mable (Catahoula x Mastiff). They make sure she is paired with pups she enjoys spending time with, and they go above and beyond to ensure her comfort—keeping her cool in summer and warm in winter. The team is warm, friendly, and you can see how much they genuinely love all the pets that come through their doors. It’s the perfect place to keep your pet happy, socialized, and out of mischief at home. Plus, it’s fantastic value for money! I couldn’t recommend Doz & Catz Retreat more—your furry friend will be in the best hands!
Hello! I recently visited Dogz and catz retreat in Banjul and had a fantastic experience. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and provided ample space for my furry friend to roam. The staff was incredibly friendly and showed great care and attention to my dog's needs. My dog made new friends and enjoyed the activities available. While I was thoroughly pleased with my visit. Overall, I highly recommend Dogz and catz retreat to fellow dog owners. Thanks for taking good care of my dog!
I have been taking my dog to this kennel regularly over the last few years as I work FIFO and the staff and care for the animals is fantastic. When I drop her off she is often excited to see staff and is always in good spirits and clean when I pick her up. Highly recommend
We have been boarding our dogs here for many years and the service is fantastic. The kennels are always clean and well maintained. The staff are always friendly and care about the animals. Our dog Summer is always excited to say hello to the wonderful staff when we get there and is always clean and happy when we pick her up.
Recently i dropped off my border collie, Cooper for the 3rd time while the family was away on holiday. every single time Cooper is here he comes back happier and healthier than ever. He’s a very timid dog and the first time we dropped him, the lady who took him in stayed with him until he was alright. we are constantly sent updates and photos of him on our stay to know he is well, and i think it’s just fantastic the way the dogs are kept. on his most recent stay when we picked him up, the girls were, as always, very friendly and it was clear that they really cared for him. thank you to all the team who worked to care for Cooper and all the other pets at your retreat
We are visiting but needed day care for our two dogs we couldn’t have asked for more help . They stayed open longer as we got caught up , staff picked up on our young dogs uncertainty. So in the morning let her run with the older confident dogs then later as she became more confident she ran with the energetic kids and had a ball . I train dogs and these people really care and know dogs . Thank you so much
My pup has gone to daycare a couple times now and the staff are wonderful! We get updates at the end of the day and he always comes home happy and very very tired 😂 Only thing i'd wish for is photos throughout the day to see what he's up to
I recently picked up my cat and dog from this retreat after being on holiday for 2 weeks. I have boarded my animals at other places nearby and they do not look after them nearly as well. At one place my dog came back with a bloody tail and no one had told me about it. However, at Dog and Catz retreat my animals were well cared for. The staff are all very friendly and the premises are clean and well maintained. I will be boarding my animals here from now on
A Pawesome Experience at Dogz and Catz Retreat! Every Tuesday, I drop off our beloved dog Zara at this incredible doggy day care, and it has become the highlight of her week. From the moment we walk through the door, the staff at Dogz and Catz Retreat greet us with warmth and enthusiasm. Their genuine love for animals is evident, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere for both pets and their owners. The facility is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of dogs of all sizes and temperaments. What sets Dogz and Catz Retreat apart is their attention to individualized care. The dedicated staff members take the time to get to know each dog personally, accommodating their specific needs and preferences. Zara and I are grateful to have found such a pawesome retreat for our furry family member!
Absolute top level customer service by the owner of this facility, and devoted staff who pay attention to detail, offer a very caring and responsive service and very clean and large spaces/varied yard space and play areas for doggos- my little one absolutely loved it and we will be returning for a regular booking each week now in the long term! They also offer services for cats and with such great staff who I can entrust my fur baby to, I’ll be returning for any boarding in future for my cats too. I cannot recommend them more highly for ease of booking, care and attention to animals, and for the facilities - huge property with additional services like grooming and a hydrotherapy pool/ with very generous competitive pricing. You guys are the best- Thanks!
I’ve been taking my dog here for grooming for many years. My dog just turned 10 and Rob and his team has always kept my dog looking polished and well groomed. There’s multiple dog groomers closer to my house but I make the trek every time because these guys are the best.
Highly recommend. Our poor doggy was so matted and they made him look so handsome and clean and ready for the summer heat!! He loved his pampering and they treated him so well. Really happy guys and will definitely be seeing you again for Max's next groom!!
Having just moved back from Victoria with our 2 Border Collies, both of whom were well overdue a good grooming, we looked around and found K9 Playtime. It turns out we were super lucky, it easy so easy to book an appointment online. They reached out quickly to query some of our choices and help us find the right services. And on the day they were super helpful and efficient. And of the dogs came out looking amazing! Such a great team, we will be back 🤓
Rob, Niaryn, and the K9 team always take great care of our 2 pups and make sure they look their best! We highly recommend K9!
I've just started taking my mini schnauzer puppy Harold in for grooming. They were so patient and understanding of getting him used to regular grooms and gave helpful tips/advice to get him desensitized at home. He went from being a fluffy scruffy boy to a neat and tidy gentleman! I was so pleased and surprised when I picked him up and he even got a little scarf too! Thanks Rob/Paige and the team for your brilliant work !
Unbelievable service from Rob on the phone and the ladies in the salon. Out of 10 calls made to different groomers K9 was the only one the answered the call Robs customer service was excellent nothing was to hard. Print service during drop off and pickup and boys look unbelievable. Please see before and after photo.
First time bringing our dog to K9…..very efficient especially the online questions asked prior to booking, answered all my questions and queries and felt the service would be efficient as not all places do this. Lovely girls greeted us when we arrived and felt at ease leaving Archie in their hands……very pleased with the groom and will definitely be bring him back and recommending K9
I couldn't be happier with our experience at K9 ! My big girl Merrema is quite anxious and wary around strangers and doesn't like her tail, back of legs and paws touched by me yet alone people she doesn't know, so I was quite apprehensive about her 1st groom at K9 to say the least ! But it all seemed to magically change as soon as we walked in the door. Luna allowed June, the lady that was going to groom her, to pat her straight away which is most unusual so I could tell she felt comfortable with her from the start. June was so calm and lovely with her, she said she didn't push Luna and groomed her at her own pace if she was uncomfortable with anything. She has a big fluffy double coat and had some matting around her rear end so it was a big job but she came out looking absolutely beautiful, soft and silky and smelled divine! I was honestly blown away with how smoothly it all went, especially as I was on tenterhooks and kept expecting a phone call asking me to collect her as she wouldn't allow them to touch her, but all my worrying was unfounded, and I've already booked Luna in again. Thankyou for your care and patience June 😇 and congratulations K9 team, you are the BEST !!!! 👌 😃 🌟💯👏💝
Nicole took great care of my 4 year old toy poodle Kevin. It was his first time there, he is quite an anxious dog… and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you to Nicole for being so lovely to my boy! 😀 …
I was searching for a decent dog grooming service when I stumbled upon K9, and I couldn't have made a better decision. The first grooming was complimentary, where they did an essential tidy-up a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday, we opted for the Comfort Groom Deluxe for our puppy, and the team did an excellent job! We dealt with Jeremy, who was amazing with our pup right from the start. Lola came out looking like a little diva w a ponytail bow on her head, exactly as we had pictured. Highly recommend K9! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our recent experience with this kennel has been deeply concerning. We left our dog, Hippo, in their care for what was his second stay. While his first visit went well, this time he returned in a worrying condition. Throughout Hippo’s stay, the kennel regularly updated us with pictures and messages, which gave us confidence that everything was fine. They even mentioned he was a “big cuddle bug” and enjoying his time with them. However, just before his return, we received a message noting that they had increased his food intake slightly because he seemed to be losing weight. They asked if they could buy more kibble as his supply was running low. Although they mentioned weight loss, they did not stress how serious it was, and I was led to believe everything was still under control. Upon picking him up, we were told casually that Hippo had “lost a bit of weight.” Unfortunately, this severely downplayed his condition. When we brought him home, we were shocked to see how much weight he had lost—he was visibly emaciated, far beyond what we had been led to expect. Additionally, he had unexplained scratches on his face that were never mentioned. As pet owners, it is distressing to see your dog in such a state after trusting someone else with their care. While I understand there are challenges in looking after animals with specific dietary needs, I believe the severity of Hippo’s condition and his weight loss should have been communicated much earlier and more transparently. In line with Section 19 of the Animal Welfare Act 2002 (WA), there’s an expectation that animals under someone’s care are not subjected to unnecessary suffering. This situation certainly raised concerns about whether Hippo’s care met this standard. We were heartbroken by the condition our dog was in upon his return. Based on this experience, I would advise other pet owners to think carefully about their decision before leaving their pets here. I have attached pictures of Hippo that the kennel sent me, Hippo’s first week under their care and pictures when he came home today (2 weeks later) as a comparison.
Edited for Response: “Ohh by the way your dog lost a bit of weight” they said on pick up. This is how he came home. Really shocking. You be the judge whether you want to leave your animal here or not. After receiving the kennel’s response and revisiting the conversation (attached) we had while Hippo was in their care, I feel it’s necessary to clarify the situation further. Throughout Hippo’s stay, I appreciated the updates and photos sent by the kennel. The messages made it seem like he was doing well, enjoying cuddles, playing fetch, and adjusting to the environment. At no point was there any mention of significant weight loss or any cause for concern about his health until I received a message on 30th August stating that Hippo was “running out of food” and they had been “feeding him a little more to try and combat the weight loss.” While this message acknowledged that Hippo was losing weight, it did not convey the severity of the situation. If I had known how much weight he was losing, I would have immediately taken steps to address the issue. However, this message made it seem like a minor adjustment, and I was never told that his food intake had been drastically increased to the point where they were tripling his meals without my consent. Furthermore, I was never informed that he was experiencing scratches or any other visible injuries. The conversation mainly focused on how much he loved his food and activities, making it sound like everything was under control. When I picked him up, I was only told, “Oh, by the way, your dog lost a bit of weight,” which severely understated the situation. Hippo came home emaciated, far more than just “a bit of weight loss,” and had visible scratches on his face. It’s important to note that under Section 19 of the Animal Welfare Act 2002 (WA), there is a general duty of care to ensure that animals do not suffer unnecessarily. While I understand that kennels can face challenges when caring for animals with specific dietary needs, proper communication and care are essential to avoid situations like this. In this case, I believe the extent of Hippo’s weight loss and his injuries should have been communicated more clearly and addressed during his stay. While I trusted the kennel to care for my dog, I am heartbroken by the outcome and disappointed with their response. The form I signed on pick-up did not address these issues, and I only learned of his true condition when he came home. Based on my experience, I would caution other pet owners to carefully consider whether this is the right place for their pets.
Summer loves going to doggy daycare and it's an affordable option for regular daycare. She comes home exhausted after a day with her doggy friends.
Left my 2 boys with these guys over a weekend whilst we flew to Sydney and I initially went and visited the location before hand and the staff were very friendly and accommodating plus they showed me round and where my 2 would potentially be staying in their own kennel with a long run onto the grassy area. Picking them up on Monday morning they boys where in good spirits and very happy...plus from the photos posted to Facebook I could see they were having a great time. Will definitely go back here!
Koa the Vizsla goes to Perth Pet Club twice a week for daycare and she absolutely loves it! Thank you for always taking such great care of my crazy chaotic fur baby!!!
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS HERE. I am not going to write more. DO NOT DO IT. If you love your pets stay away from this disgusting excuse of a kennel. My dog is dead. I’ve seen multiple dogs without water, understaffed, horrible conditions. That is it. Disgusting. EDITS *Also no conclusion was made and no cancer diagnosis made. She was so ill, I made a humane decision. Vets said what could have happened, and there were many versions. *since I am unable to reply to my review, I can tell everyone that their response is a lie. It took police officers to get my other animal home. They were refusing to give him back, I was more than happy to pay, the police didn’t even want to speak to him at the end as he was so awful. *She was vet checked and yearly health checked in Oct/Nov 2023. Nothing was wrong. They are a terrible kennel and under investigation. If you love your pet, spend the extra money and stay away. Please stay away from them, the most offensive thing you have replied with is that a tumour got so large and was ignored, the vet told me if it was a tumour there would be no way of me knowing. Do not insinuate that I ignored my pet. No conclusion was made other than she had a 50% chance of surviving surgery, and due to the surgery only maybe 3 months after. End of story. Any animal lover would share this review.
Wonderful facility our kids love it there and are so spoilt, wonderful staff and lots of space to run around.
My dog Xavier has been attending Perth Pet Club for more than a month, and he absolutely adores it, especially the staff members. His favourite is Em, who does an amazing job taking care of him and playing with him while he is in daycare. When I pick up my dog, he approaches me with a bright smile so happy and is so exhausted that he falls asleep right away when he get home, just like he had been working all day😂. I wholeheartedly advise anyone wanting to board their dog at Perth Pet Club that it is worth it and more. I'm extremely grateful to Em for being the best with my Xavier and treating him and all the dogs with their like her very own. 😊
We left our dogs staffy cross and maltese cross for 7 days and collected them in good health and no loss of weight. We were apprehensive, as we hadn't used this facility before, but were very happy with the service.
Perth Pet Club looked after our Maltese Shitzhu (Casper) for a week and we were very happy with their services. Emma is lovely and you can see she genuinely cares for the animals there. My 11 year old son and niece loved visiting there and now want to work at kennels when they’re older 😆 Thanks Emma! …
I cannot recommend Leigh and his team at The Paw House enough to care for your dog while you go away. My boy Arlo has stayed with them 3 times now and his most recent stay was for 6 weeks. He is quite a timid dog who doesn’t like to be away from me but Leigh has always made me feel so comfortable with leaving him in their care. Arlo absolutely thrives while there and comes out looking better than what he did going in! Arlo can take a while to warm up to new people but he made the best of friends with the whole team at The Paw House and he is a super social dog with other dogs and knowing he is getting that socialisation in a professional and safe environment is the absolute best. I’ll be taking Arlo to the paw house once a fortnight for doggy day care just so he can continue to have that socialisation and so he can keep seeing his best friends (The Paw House Team) as he has such a great time there. Thank you so much to The Paw House for taking such good care of my baby dog, we appreciate you all so much. 🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️
My babies are staying with these beautiful people and I wouldn't have them anywhere else. Leigh is an amazing human being. I'm sure Claire is just as beautiful. Thet will be there for awhile. one dog is fine and one is very timid. I'm so impressed Leigh started winning her over day 1. Amazing, amazing people Edit: got my babies home today (21/9/24) and oh they look SO, SO HAPPY AND HEALTHY!!!! I couldn’t have asked for more. They have been so, so helpful with my situation. Cannot recommend enough. You need a kennel for a holiday my girls came happy and SO healthy.
I had to organise a kennel for my girl Maggie, whilst I already overseas as dog sitter plans had changed - Leigh and Claire were fantastic with communication and were able to pick her up and drop her off. They were extremely accomodating with my last minute changes of plans! Most of all, I am a nervous dog pawrent and don’t often use boarding, however I felt very confident and reassured that Mags was in good hands. Didn’t get the pleasure of meeting the owners this time however I look forward to meeting them later on as this will be my go to over pet sitters! Thanks again
Leigh is fantastic and our dog is happy to arrive there every time. Dogs are looked after wonderfully. Highly recommend the Paw House.
We cannot speak highly enough, The Paw House is the most exceptional kennel we have used. As the owners of a needy Great Dane who gets very anxious we are super cautious about who we leave her with…Leigh is incredible and she absolutely loves staying at The Paw House.
Our puppies are well looked after at Paw House. They come home happy after day care or even after a long stay. Leigh is very knowledgeable and accommodating. He looked after our old dog back in 2010, and we are back this year! Service is excellent and highly recommended for his genuine and professional care. We have peace of mind while we are away on a holiday. Thank you so much Paw House :)
Brilliant place to leave your doggo. I was so stressed when I had to do it, all the stress was unfounded. These guys were excellent and my gorgeous girlie was picked up in tip top condition, physically and mentally. Thank you so much.
My dog almost die in this place after swollen some blanket (lost 15 kg during 2 weeks, he is only 35kg when healthy ), but Leigh say he hold no responsibility legally or morally. Cost me $23k for two operations to save my dog. i'm happy to provide all detail if any doubt authenticity. Please read very careful about the agreement you are signing . Especially on the back side with very small writing. updated: after all lawyers and negotiation , we get back $15k from them.
We have been coming here for years, our dogs love it. Always recommend Leigh and Claire to our friends and family, wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Highly recommend. I was a bit overwhelmed at the start being new to boarding with a new puppy but Leigh was super reassuring on drop offs and pick ups. Honey always comes home having made freinds, tired, happy and today smelling freshhhh. Really well priced and really good vibe. We’ve boarded twice with The Paw House now and I don’t think we’ll ever go anywhere else. Love it.
