I felt that my dogs were in good hands with Billy & Cherice - both pups seemed happy and well cared for when I returned from my 3-week trip. My home was also clean and tidy. This was my first experience using an unknown sitter and I felt nervous to leave my dogs for so long while traveling abroad. If they were to stay again I would request more regular photo updates, but otherwise was very happy with Billy and Cherice's pet and home care.
Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Erin was a great pet sitter who took such good care of little Chino. She was very reliable, kept us up to date with videos/pictures, looked after our home and kept it neat and tidy. She even left a thoughtful gift upon our return and was flexible with our travel plans. We would definitely recommend Erin for anyone looking for a reliable and friendly pet sitter!
Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.
Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care free for a long zeewoi. The communication of photos and videos were a warm reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us! We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. She thought of everything related to us and our pets, so we could have a seamless late evening return. We highly recommend Andrea for any zeewoi, as she is a jewel. Anyone looking for a “perfect” sitter would be lucky to have Andrea as a trustworthy, considerate and kind person to care for their pets and home.
Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith! I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable. In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture. I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!
Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. If he comes back to the Uk and we require a sitter we will contact him first. Well done Jacob.
Laura was amazing with communication from the very beginning. She sent updates of photos and videos without even being told or asked to do so. She was watching our cat and treated her like her own. Laura was also very responsive when we were trying to find a sitter for our dates and answered any and all questions we had about her experience with pets and house sitting. I would recommend her to anyone! :) and hope we can have her house sit again for us.
Leo and Susi were wonderful pet sitters for our two cats. They were responsive, communicative, and gracious guests, and the I swear the house was cleaner when we got home than we left it. The cats were very contented. Any time we leave we will be checking in with them first. Such a pleasure to work with.
Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I highly recommend Janis and you will be fortunate to have her as your sitter.

Steve is a dog wizard. We have been using his services for half a decade and he's always taken good care of our pup, who can be a handful sometimes! When we've boarded with him in the past, he's gone over and above - even clipping our dogs nails which is a task even the vet hasn't accomplished. We more frequently use the day care service and our pup comes back stimulated, happy, and tired.
I have a Golden Retriever, Daisy, and she goes out 6 days a week with Steven and he is absolutely amazing. I can tell how much he loves my dog and my level of comfort is EXTREMELY high each day he picks her up and puts her on the bus!!! I would recommend this to everyone who asks.
Stephen has been great with our two dogs. We have two rescues from Mexico and they adore their time with Stephen and the crew. He’s a dog person and clearly took the time to understand our dogs before taking them out.
We have nothing but great things to say about Outward Hound. Our two dogs wait rave to the OH van every day they get walked. They get socialized, they get to run to free and Steve brings them back toweled off and exhausted. Highly recommended for anyone who wants their pups to enjoy an off leash experience.
He loses dogs, has lost many for years now, and unfortunately many of them have died, even just recently. He’s complacent. He’s walked my dogs in the past and my male would growl at him during pickup, not wanting to go with him (not one other human on earth does/has he growled at). And now after being on walks with him as a puppy, my female is terrified of being approached by other dogs because Stephen told me the other dogs would chase her (like it was a game). He needs to close up shop!
Stephen is super responsive, flexible, open, and up front in all his communication which really helped us develop trust in Outward Hound. When our dog comes home and just wants to snooze we know he's had a good hike - the amazing photos that Stephen posts are just the proof! We are really grateful to Outward Hound and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any other dog owner.
Would not recommend. My dog has come back from walks with Stephen with deep bite marks on three separate occasions. During peak times he has up to 16 dogs at once which I think is unmanageable. He has also lost him, and was never told until I got a surprised phone call from a hiker who found him. He was found close to the highway and thank goodness because he probably would have otherwise been hit. Stephen has poor communication, and can be quite rude. I have not heard good things about how he handles dogs but cannot personally testify to this.
My boyfriend and I are extremely unhappy with our experience with Outward hound. The first time our dog went on a walk we received a call from Stephen that he didn't have our dog with him. Naturally we were upset and worried. Stephen very rudely told me to calm down and that it was no big deal as this has happened before with other dogs. We don't think that this was justification for anything, in fact it raises more concerns in our mind of his capability. While we were on our way to help Stephen look for our dog we received another call. Better news this time, our dog had made his way back to Stephen's van. When Stephen dropped our dog off we listened to his account of what had happened. He admitted he made a mistake by letting our dog off leash too early. When we were attempting to express our concerns about the situation he repeatedly talked over us and was dismissive of the situation. We told him we will not be using his services and do not expect to pay for the walk. He ended the discussion by walking away and saying "go f**k yourselves". This was the least amount of professionalism I have ever seen in my life.
Stephen truly cares about dogs, I know this for a fact! I travelled far up north for work 14 days at a time. I had a frenchie, a frenchie which in fact loved heat! Would bake in the sun and in winter in front of the fireplace almost too hot to touch and was in heaven. Stephen made my dog steps to his bed. My dog is beloved to many. My opinion, living in different provinces, and different dog walkers and boarders is that he’s of the free’r, sort which really appeals to me. My dog wasn’t in a cage, I wasn’t constantly trying to be upsold with different care products and practices nor was I solid on any false ideal. I will use and continue to use Stephen. I’ve seen firsthand how much he cares and will continue to care
We are so grateful that we found Outward Hound when we moved to Squamish! We never worry when our dog is with Stephen - be it for an afternoon hike or for a week long stay - we know he is in the best of hands. Stephen takes the time to form a special bond with each dog and that combined with the backcountry fun and socialization with other dogs makes for the best dog care possible. Recommend Outward Hound 100 percent!
So happy to have found Christine and her team to sit for my bunnies! They were very well taken care of that my bunnies were noticeably less stressed than usual when I'm away. Thank you Cindy!
Christine is the absolute best! I used her a lot over the last year to care for my two cats while I travelled and she never disappoints! It’s obvious that she loves animals and my cats seemed to love her. She also is amazing with my very small puppy. She is reliable, caring, a great communicator and I always felt my animals were in really good hands. I recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter in the Squamish area.
Christine is my go-to for any time I need a cat sitter. My old geriatric cat needs eyes on her regularly and a little more TLC than she did as a kitten so the twice a day visits are a Godsend. I always know my Phoebe is in good hands and the daily updates ease my anxious mind! Finding Christine when we moved to Squamish was a sigh of relief and she’s been the best pet sitter I’ve ever had!
Christine was amazing! I was nervous about leaving my cats, but Christine was very reassuring and sent me daily updates. She was very receptive to their needs, and was on time every day for their medication. Both my cats also trusted Christine a lot faster than I expected, I will definitely be trusting her next time I need a cat sitter!
Christine is a gem ! She sends me pics of her hangs with my cats , they of course love her and I trust her implicitly with my pet family and my my house . Your the best 💜! …
We are fortunate to have found Christine to take care of our two cats. She truly loves animals and it shows. From a business perspective, she runs her service very professionally. Excellent communication during booking, clear invoice of costs based on the # of visits and time spent (love that she offers to spend actual quality time with our cats and not just a 5m cat food fill up and gone). She regularly sends us a text with photos of the cats and she even offers to water our plants and bring in the mail/paper . we could not be happier....a big thank you Christine!
Christine has been cat sitting for me regularly for a few years now. Originally, she took care of my very needy but shy and sickly senior cat. I'd had him for 10 years and he wouldn't go near anyone else but me until he met Christine. Pictures and videos of him getting pets from her made me feel so much better leaving him. She was also able to feed him his medicines and went out of her way by bringing new foods for him to try when he was struggling to eat near the end. These days, I have two new kittens that have fallen in love with Christine. I've only adopted older cats before and am learning how to be a kitten mom, so she went out of her way again with helping me with things like getting them to learn not to scratch furniture and eat my plants (still not totally successfully but we are working on it lol) She always sends updates and photos. When I've gotten stuck in the city due to weather, she's saved the day by coming by last minute. She really is the best cat sitter I could imagine. Thanks for everything Christine ❤️
Christine took care of our super shy cat for two weeks. She was great with Eve; we could see how much she loves cats based on how she interacted with her. 10/10 service! It was the first time our little girl was going to be alone for so long, and the daily photos and videos made the time away easier. We’ll definitely call Christine next time we need a cat sitter.
Christine is a wonderful and reliable cat sitter! We have a grumpy geriatric cat who isn't exactly easy to get along with, but warmed up to Christine right away. She is readily available and flexible with our arrangements, which always makes going away easy and stress-free. I would highly recommend hiring Christine for any pet-sitting needs!
Christine was very professional and easy to work with. She was extremely responsive, quickly arranged an introductory meeting at my home, and that experience was very comfortable. She felt like a cat whisperer with my very shy and skittish cat, and she took great care with another diabetic cat of ours. I’m definitely returning for future services! She also sent a daily checkin text to show the cats were happy with her services too!
The entire crew at Doghaven is wonderful - our boy Walter always looks forward to his pack hikes and comes home happy, tired and content. They offer pick up/drop off service and we know he’s in the very best of care! We also love seeing him on their Instagram, as it’s a sneak peak into the fun he’s having with his dog pals. I would not hesitate to recommend them looking for responsible and reliable care for their dogs!
DogHaven has been a second home for my two doggies for a few years now, and they are happy there. They get plenty of exercise. They are well looked after, well socialized, understood, and loved. We’ve looked at so many other boarding options in the sea to sky or in the city. DogHaven was the only good fit for my girls. And they have come through so many times, making it work every time. Though everyone has been friendly and helpful, Laura stands out, always going above and beyond.
Our dog has been going to Dog Haven for nearly 3 years, we love the team there. Through the 3 years we have had the best experience boarding and in daycare. Michelle went above and beyond this year when I went into labour early and she took care of our dog until I was out of hospital on super short notice. We love seeing post of our dog having a blast on walks and at the centre. We also really appreciate the time and effort they go to, to work with the quirks our dog has. We love that we have this amazing option in Squamish.
Michelle and her team take great care with introductions, on boarding, and ensuring the right fit. I appreciate the care that goes into this process as it means each dog is set up for success both with meeting new friends and with the routine. Since visiting Dog Haven regularly, my dog is much more at ease when meeting new dogs out on the trails. I attribute this to the positive experiences he has each week with Dog Haven.
We are so thrilled to have found Dog Haven for our Dewd!! The care and time they spend getting to know your dog during on boarding was incredible. I love taking Dewd to a place where I know he’s being actually looked after and attended too. The pack walks and pack hikes are such an added bonus!! Thank you so much to all the staff, we are so appreciative of all you do. 🫶🐾
We have been taking our dog to Dog Haven for 2+ years now, and approximately 1-2 times a week. We could not say enough wonderful things about their staff and facility! We love their indoor/outdoor space, especially during bad weather days. The staff are so friendly and caring , and we trust he is in good hands with them. Our dog pulls us to their front door, tail wagging because he is so happy to be there!! We will continue to take him there for years to come!
New to Squamish, DogHaven came highly recommended by our friend. Was she ever right! Everything was new to Hunter when we moved here from out of province, so we took it slowly, once a week for half days, and then full days. In early visits he was a bit hesitant but by the third visit, he was happy to go straight in, knowing he was about to spend a fun day with new friends. This ongoing socialization is so important for dogs and it is clear that the team at DogHaven know exactly how to make a new dog feel at home. We're thrilled because we can go skiing or travelling knowing that our sweet guy will be happy and well taken care of.
You can HEAR my dog headed for daycare when he's on his way to Doghaven, as he starts squealing and barking and dancing as soon as we turn off the highway - he knows the route! Our 4-ish year old dog has been going to Doghaven since he was a little puppy. He's a rambunctious boy with a few minor anxiety issues, and the ladies at DH know exactly how to make him feel comfortable out on hikes and give him the awesome exercise he needs! At the home base, he's Mr. Cassanova and comfortable as can be. I can honestly say that the socialization and exercise that my dog gets at DH is top notch and every single handler there (esp Kyanna and Rachele), and of course Michelle the leader of the pack, are extremely capable, caring, loving actually, and wonderful. We love the Insta photos to - so fun to see our boy out with his friends. Thank you all for being SO good to our family! We appreciate you! <3
Michelle and her Team genuinely care and understand dogs. They are always welcoming and available to chat to about any concerns. Our dog, Juno has been visiting Doghaven since she was a puppy and visits with enthusiasm. We can leave her knowing that she is in professional care, will have a fantastic mountain hike, garden play and the best homely rest area. Doghaven knows dogs and weather and adapt the day to the dogs best interest. This is very special to us and we are very thankful to have them near us. Chris & Jenny
Michelle and the team at Dog Haven are amazing!! Our dog Choya has been going to Dog Haven for daycare and boarding for around 5 years. She is so loved and well cared for while there - she often doesn’t want to come home! We are so grateful to have such an amazing place for dogs in Squamish.
Mandy is so great with my little guy. I feel so comfortable with her handling my most treasured family member. Mandy has a knack for photos as well. Here is a photo she took.
Mandy is THE BEST! She is so good to our dogs and very professional. She’s always on time, sends photos/ updates and is very trust worthy. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is need a dog walker/ sitter in Squamish!
Our boy Koby has been a part of Two Blue Tails since he was 5 months old! He loves his group hikes with all his dog friends and always comes home so happy. Hilary has helped us train Koby since he was a puppy and has helped us manage his reactivity. We now know his triggers and can help him succeed when he reacts. In the puppy training course we learnt the right cues to calm him down and we’ve been using these cues ever since (for 3 years now)! Hilary made training our high energy puppy much easier and she’s made a huge impact in his growth and confidence. Highly recommend two blue tails if you’re looking for training, dog walking or need a good group hike for your dog to have fun and socialize!!
I have worked with Hilary with both of my dogs (one very anxious and the other very energetic and confident). She is able to adapt to each dogs needs. She is really helpful in a one-on-one and is super informative in group classes. She has worked with other “dog friends” in the community and has made very good differences in challenging behaviour. I would highly recommend her.
Hilary has been helping me with my reactive herding dog using positive reinforcement and we have been making great progress! I can now manage my dog’s reactivity with confidence and my dog is making huge strides in his confidence. He is overall a much happier dog now, thanks Two Blue Tails!
Great training session! Hilary is super knowledgeable and approachable. She takes time with every dog and asks questions to help guide training based on their needs. I love her positive approach to dog training. I can't wait for the rest of the course and look forward to seeing my dog grow. Couldn't recommend it enough!
Training with Hilary has been fantastic she’s very in tune with our dog’s needs and always offers multiple strategies for each behaviour we are correcting. She’s very knowledgeable, does frequent check ins and sends out a summary of what we worked on. Not to mention our dog absolutely adores her. I would highly recommend two blue tails for your training needs
Our Samoyed Maddie LOVES her group adventure hikes every week with Two Blue Tails. The team has always been wonderful to communicate with and the GPS tracking collar has given me a sense of security and trust that my fur baby is safe on her adventures. I always recommend Hilary to anyone who has a high-energy (hyper-reactive), social dog. Since Maddie has joined TBT adventure hikes, I've noticed a dramatic improvement in her off-leash recall while out on my own walks with her. It's a fantastic female-led company and again, I highly recommend their walking & training services.
Hillary is EXCELLENT! I was thrilled to see our pup Osito respond so well to her training in just one session. I would most definitely recommend her and will book another in person to keep up the amazing positive changes we have seen already. The session was fun too to see him do the things I didn't think he could do. Thank you Two Blue Tails.
We had our first teens lesson with Two blue tail: last Tuesday. First of 4 trainings. Peso (our 10 month old rescue) learned quickly to make eye contact, lay down, walk beside us. All with treat training and reward training. Very gentle and knowledgeable training. Excited to our next 3 weeks!
Hilary has been wonderful in helping us with our large Shepard/malamute pup Lily. She helped us understand many of Lily's problematic behaviours were rooted in anxiety and fear. This allowed us to start smart and build towards success in small attainable steps. She also uses a wonderful stuffed dog 'Luke' that helps us practice dog greeting in a safe manner... and surprisingly Luke brought out all Lily's funky behaviours 'in real time' so we could identify, discuss and plan how to address them in the future. I highly recommend working with Hilary!
Two Blue Tails is Fantastic and Hilary is amazing to work with! We recently had Hilary help with our 8 month old puppy with barking - hoping with the right help and putting in the work it will just be a phase. It's only been a couple weeks since our private session, but we've already noticed improvement. Simple techniques and commands that are easy enough for everyone in our household to adopt, and most importantly easy enough for our dog to learn. We're very happy with Two Blue Tails and would recommend them to anyone whether it's private training or their dog walking services which we also use 3 times week. Love the socialization it offers our puppy as well as the adventures she experiences while we're at work. The pickup and drop off service is incredibly convenient and so is the app used! Pictures shared after each walk of our dog with a big smile with tongue hanging way out say it all! Thank you Two Blue Tails for helping us out!
Peter and his team has done wonders for our German shepherd! She was pretty reactive to other dogs because she was scared. But by using pack behaviour, I can tell there has been a lot of change in her. I truly appreciate Peter sending me videos every day to keep me updated about her. It makes me so happy there’s a place that I can take her for a big run and have fun safely with other dogs. I only wish they were closer to Vancouver 😢 so I can bring her more often
With a reactive dog, it's hard to find proper care while we travel. Peter understands dogs with behavioural challenges and caters to the individual needs of all under his care. Our dog has separation anxiety, among other issues, but he's happy to head straight into the ranch with only a quick glance back at me. It's obvious my dog is happy here and feels safe.
Country Ranch is the best. My dogs LOVE it there. Peter takes excellent care of our fur babies. Simply Disney for dogs.
Peter was fantastic to work with! Our RR is fearful of strangers, especially men, thankfully she is sweet and LOVES all dogs. Peter and his staff took great care of our girl while we were in Whistler and unable to have her with us. I love that they are super knowledgeable and easy going. The dogs get to play and have a great time without being kept in crates. I highly recommend Country Dog Ranch and will definitely be an ongoing future customer!
Peter and his staff are absolutely awesome! We have two dogs that love coming here. One of our rescue dogs is very scared/reactive around other dogs and people and we spent months/$$$ with various other trainers with little success, but since we started bringing her to Peter over the past few months, her behaviour has improved so much. We have received many compliments about the improvements to her behaviour lately from people who met her last year – they can all see how much calmer she is now and better able to react to situations that used to scare her. We are working on teaching her how to greet other dogs appropriately and the Ranch is one of the only places we know we can trust to safely let her run and play and meet other dogs in a controlled environment. The staff all handle her really well and she is calmer around new people after Peter and his staff have worked with her these past few months. Our other dog loves being able to run around and play there too. They both come home well exercised and are always excited to go there. Peter is always very accommodating and reliable and we are so grateful!
Peter was great taking care of our dog. Our dog has some anxiety issues, and this was her first time staying with Peter. He was great, sharing photos of our dog relaxing in the house, and she actually came back more relaxed and well behaved than when we dropped her off. All in all a great experience and we will take our dog back to Peter for boarding again.
We have only the absolute best things to say about Peter and the staff at the Country Ranch Dog Boarding. They provide us with an invaluable peace of mind when we travel and we are grateful for the care they show our beloved pup. We have been taking our Newfoundland dog Blue there periodically for nearly three years. Blue (weighing 130 lb.) is not always the easiest to handle as she can be anxious with other dogs and some people, so, leaving Blue with someone who knows how to keep her safe and calm was really important to us. We know that her experience at the Country Ranch is great because she is always excited to get out of the car when we arrive, and calm, happy and tired when we pick her up. We are thankful for the care they show for our Blue and all the dogs there and we would recommend The Country Ranch to anyone who is looking to board their pup with someone they can trust. Thank you!
We just love the Country Ranch and so does our almost two year old blue heeler mix Coastal. With a fear anxiety that leads to aggression with strangers, we are so grateful to finally have a place to let our dog just be a dog. Peter and his staff have been nothing short of incredible addressing her needs right from day 1. She comes home happy and tired after a day at the ranch and Peter will often take time to work with Coast mid-day to help build her confidence as well. We’ve worked with traditional trainers in the past and nothing has come close to the way the Country Ranch has helped our pup. It usually takes a while for Coastal to warm up to anyone and yet the staff always seem to win her over. It always amazes me when I meet a new staff member who brings her out at the end of the day happy and at ease in their care. I appreciate knowing we can always count on constructive feedback or advice so we can continue to help Coastal progress at home as well. Very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable - the Country Ranch is a true 10/10. It’s so reassuring to know there’s a place we can bring our dog for single or multi-day stays worry-free. Highly recommend the Ranch for any dog! This place has been a true game changer for both Coastal and our family, we can’t thank this team enough!
Country Ranch is amazing! My dog loves it there and has been for both day care and boarding. He has been going for years and always wags his tail when I ask if he wants to go to the “ranch”. Peter and his staff take wonderful care of my dog and I can relax knowing he will be taken care of while I’m away, whether for the day or an extended period of time.
We've been clients of Country Ranch for almost three years, and couldn't be happier. We adopted a lovely, but large and hard-to-handle rescue dog and it was SO much more challenging that we expected. Not only did Country Ranch help us by keeping our girl safe and happy when we couldn't be with her, but they also helped us as new owners to understand her better, and to support her adjustment. I don't know if we would have made it without their help, support and guidance with our dog. This is a large, clean facility with an excellent owner who cares deeply for the dogs themselves, and who seems to be happy when the dogs are happy. He has good staff who seem to like working there and whom our dog loves to see when we arrive. We're grateful for the support and care our pup receives at Country Ranch, and we know how happy our girl is to be there - all we have to say is "Is it time to go to the ranch?" and her entire bottom half starts wagging! I'm glad someone recommended Country Ranch to us when we got our girl - don't know what we would have done without them!
Annie let the dogs out and her dog walkers have been a great help for our family. Our 2 dogs have walked on hikes weekly for 2 year now. They absolutely love their walks. Annie was also very accommodating when one of our older dogs needed to switch to a slower group as she was getting older. Also we felt very comfortable leaving our pups under their boarding care while we go on vacation. Very professional and convenient and truly a great service. Highly recommended.
We've been using Annie for the past 2 years for dog hikes for our energetic dog and can't speak highly enough about our experience. Our pup is always excited to see the van pull up and greets Annie and her team as if they are family. He comes home well-exercised and happy. We particularly enjoy coming home to see the 'report card' and finding out which trails they were on and which dogs he was playing with that day.
We love Annie! Our rescue dog Vesica has built a great relationship with her walkers and she literally loses the plot when they arrive at the door. The hikes have helped her to integrate with other dogs and people (which we have noticed when we take her out now with other dogs) and she comes home happy and tired out. We will be sticking with Annie and her walkers / hikers and we love her professionalism around insurance and other important safety features that she offers to her clients. 5 Stars!
Our dog has been going out for hikes and receiving boarding services from Annie and her crew since he was a puppy. As soon as he sees Annie's van pull up he's out the door and doesn't look back, he can't wait to get on with the day's adventures. He always comes back tired, which is no easy feat considering his high energy level. Also, it's fun to see what him and the other dogs have been up to from the Facebook posts. We feel very fortunate to have found a dog care service that is so caring and reliable.
We use Annie and her team to take our dog for hikes when we have the odd longer day in the office or on the ski hill. They regularly pick him up when we are not home, and they are always completely reliable and accommodating. On the odd occasion when I have been home to witness the pick-up, our dog has been completely excited to go with whomever is walking him that day I love the special touches of a note about when and where he hiked and who he played with during the day, and photos from the day on Annie's Facebook page. A surprising side-effect of these hikes is that his behavior around other dogs has improved leaps and bounds. I am so grateful to have found someone that I trust so much with our loved one. Thank you Annie & team!
I have been using Annie Let the Dogs Out and her team for a couple of years now. I know Kili is always in good hands and I never have to worry about him. Annie and team are very service orientated and reliable and they have never once let me down. I also appreciate how flexible Annie is, as I sometimes have to cancel or add walks and she is always accommodating. Kili always comes home tired and happy after his hikes and it is fun to read the notes left behind to see who he hiked with that day, what time he was picked up and dropped off, where they went and what he treats had. Annie & team provide a great service, are dedicated to the dogs in their care and I highly recommend them. Two thumbs up from me!!!
Annie and her wonderful team of dog walkers are so wonderful to have in Squamish. My dog is a 13 years old Cockapoo. He is keen to go with them for the dog hikes when they arrive to pick him up. He is picky about how who goes with so this says a lot about how happy he is. Thank you Annie for creating and delivering a wonderful service for our 4 legged friends. Teddy and I are very grateful
Annie Let the Dogs Out- friendly, knowledgeable and reliable staff members! Annie will cater to your dogs needs: if it is hiking, boarding or leash walks. We have used all 3 options with our two dogs Stella and Desert; and we are very happy customers. We would highly recommend Annie!
Annie is amazing. We had an important family gathering to attend to on the other side of the world and Annie took in our 5 month old mini Dachshund, Lil Lenny!. One of the hardest things for us to do was leave our cutie lil puppy that means the world to us for a whole 4 weeks. Annie made it easy as he was taken care of like it was their own puppy, giving him lots of love, exercise, cuddles and really get him socialized with other dogs. Annie is also on facebook and puts up photos daily of all the dogs, which made it exciting to wake up to each day. We certainly recommend Annie Let the Dogs Out for the best dog care in the sea to sky region. Thank you so much Megan and Dennis..ox
Alfie LOVES going out with Annie's team for hikes. He comes home oh so happy and ready for a long nap! It's great getting little notes after his walks, to hear how things went. He get's super excited when he hears the van roll into the driveway :)
We love Ruffstuff for our pup, Beans! They always take such good care of her, and we always feel at ease leaving her there. We feel grateful to have a place like this in town. Communication is great, booking requests are done with ease, online check-in process for overnights is helpful, and the staff are always knowledgeable and friendly.
Ruff Stuff is our goto for dog care. They always warmly greet Barney like an old friend when we drop him off. He jumps up on the door to get inside (bad dog 🐶). He’s tired when he gets home. What could be better ! Robyn …
I cannot recommend Ruff Stuff enough! Their daycare facility is wonderful and entirely focused on enrichment and fun. We recently boarded our bulldog with Ruff Stuff for over 2 weeks while we visited family in the UK and we didn’t have to worry about her at all! She was also present in Instagram updates, I knew I could reach the team easily via email if needed, and she had an amazing time! Thank you Ruff Stuff - Beans loves you!
Ruff Stuff is a fantastic world class dog daycare with a focus on careful introductions for new dogs. My dog used to get stressed in group settings, but Ruff Stuff has helped him learn to socialize and mingle with other dogs. I'm so grateful for their mindful approach!
Leo has been a part of the family of the Ruff Stuff team for over 4 years. I can't say enough amazing stuff about Ruff Stuff! It is Leo's second home, and the staff at Ruff Stuff treat and care for Leo as if he is their own. Leo loves going every single time, whether for day play or overnight boarding. His happiness shows at drop off, pick-up and in all of the social media posts! He is cared for above and beyond and given the best love and care always! I will always refer to Ruff Stuff for anyone's doggie needs - they are simply the best!!!!
Our border collie has been going to Ruff Stuff for a few months and he always has a great time. He never comes home over-tired, but always happy, satisfied and calm. Tracy and the team are awesome!
Ruff Stuff has cared for our dog Sunshine since she was a puppy and is our first choice for boarding . Ruff Stuff is safe , trustworthy and the staff truly love our dog and all the dogs whole heartedly. When Sunshine stays at Ruff Stuff we have full peace of mind knowing that she is in good hands . The hardest part about Sunshine boarding at Ruff Stuff is the feeling of missing her! The daily posts on Instagram are such a nice touch and it’s amazing the staff take the time to post with such intention ! Our dog Sunshine feels happy and comfortable and confident when she stays with Ruff Stuff. And we feel the same .
We’ve been taking our dog to Ruff Stuff for a few months now for daycare and boarding. We couldn’t be happier with the experience! He was still quite young when we first brought him but they were great to integrate him into the group of dogs. They’ve also been super helpful with being on the same page as us with training. Not to mention, he absolutely loves it there, it’s hard to get him to leave most days. Knowledgable staff and a safe place to leave our most beloved pal. Highly recommend
Ruff Stuff is a well laid-out and well run outfit. After my first (trial) booking, they took the time to walk me through the facility, and discuss how they take care of the dogs.
Such a wonderful experience meeting the crew and space of Ruff Stuff! My puppy came home happy and well rested after an adventurous day. They provide great hours, pricing and care for my loved one. Would highly recommend to our fellow pet owners.
If you're looking for a place for your pup to have a great time with other dogs, Barkendale is the spot! Holly and her team have done an amazing job making a secure and safe play environment for dogs to spend time outside sniffing and playing as much as they'd like! In the summer, they always make sure the dogs have enough shade and water. In the winter, they've got a heated space for dogs to dry off and warm up. They've truly treated our dog, Daisy, like family and she's so excited to go back every time. Daisy comes home with a HUGE smile on her face and immediately curls up on her bed after a big day of romping around with pals at Barkendale. We (including Daisy) highly highly recommend Barkendale!
This is our dog’s favourite place! She can’t get out of the car fast enough to join her pals. Holly & team have made a Disneyland for dogs in Squamish. The best staff, amazing dog pals and lots of space to explore and have fun. Holly has always gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs. It brings us joy to see how much fun our dog has when we are at work. She also loves the cuddles and warm fire in the winter time.
We have been using Barkdendale since they opened, and I can’t recommend them enough! Holly runs a great operation, and we never have to worry about our cheeky golden retriever Frango when we drop him off. He’s our little prince and we wanted to make sure we left him in safe hands, and Holly and team are exactly what we had wished for with doggy day care in Squamish. She has a completely secure setup, and constant supervision of the dogs. They all play and get along great and not only is Frango incredibly excited to get to doggy daycare (if I do much as say “Holly” he waits by the front door until I take him!) he comes home and is super satisfied and enjoys a nice afternoon nap! We take Frango 3x a week and are Barkdendale regulars. The people, facility and setup are absolutely ideal and a real asset to the doggo lovers of Squamish. If you’re looking for someone to look after the doggo member of your family go and meet Holly and see their setup, you won’t be disappointed!
Barkendale is a dream come true! We have a dog who has quite a bit of separation anxiety and has a hard time hanging out by herself at home. She absolutely loves Barkendale and looks forward to going and seeing her friends every week. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The owner is quick to respond to any questions or concerns and is very accommodating. We would highly recommend this place to any dog owner!
The most wonderful daycare for my pup. Holly and team are the BEST!
Always a fun place for my dog.
Holly is fantastic and the dogs LOVE going there
