honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
Another amazing sit by Anna and her lovely family - our cocker spaniel Holly has had the best fortnight with these guys with lots of adventures and endless amounts of love and attention! Highly recommend as 5-star house and pet sitters - thank you Anna - hope to see you again!
Kate was an absolute dream and was the best pet sitter I could have possibly asked for! Kate was extremely trustworthy, communicative, and reliable, and provided frequent updates while I was away. She left my apartment spotlessly clean and even took the initiative to fix my wobbly towel bar. Finally, Kate took excellent care of my cat Daisy and I came home to a happy and content cat! Kate was amazing all around and I would be thrilled to have her sit for me again at any time. Thanks for everything!
Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.
Meg was a dream pet sitter for my three year old labradoodle. She gave him nice long walks and was very organized, communicative and tidy. I look forward to another opportunity to have Meg in my home!
Caitlyn, KJ, and their pup Sully were excellent house guests and pet sitters, and we would highly recommend them! I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. Don't hesitate to book this family of three, your house and your pets will be well-looked after!
Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith! I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable. In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture. I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!
I could not have asked for a better first time sitter experience! Terry & Vinnie were absolutely wonderful people. They took stellar care of my beloved pets and my home. Their communication with me was enough that I felt perfectly at ease during my time away and in turn, they were super responsive if I contacted them. My pets were relaxed and happy when I returned!
Mikala & Jake were great house & pet sitters for us!! Our dog and two cats absolutely adored them, and we came back to a very clean home with happy animals :) They were very reliable and fast communicators. They even had to deal with our power going out while we were away, and they handled it well. It eased our minds to know our animals and house were in such great care while we were away and would have them sit for us anytime!
Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

Boarded my two dogs here, very recently. When I picked them up, one was extremely emaciated and had what appeared to be a burn mark on her. I was never notified of anything happening to my sweet pup. When asked, the owner was very vile and hostile. IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL- YOU WILL NOT BOARD THEM HERE.
Another great visit for grooming. I have left cats and dogs at this kennel for both short and long term stays a number of times. Laurie is accommodating and keeps me filled in. Always clean and engaging. Great experiences. I am glad she is here.
Brought our puppy over at the last minute due to a cancelled dog-sitter. Laurie was very accomodating and welcoming of our pup, and even had her dogs play with him. She has a nice set up, with a play area, large and roomy kennels, and lots of toys! If you want a warm environment that's tucked away in the beautiful VT scenery, then bring your dog here!
Absolutely appalled by the service we received. They lied to us about our dog missing, neglected to inform us when he went missing. Extremely unprofessional and very rude communication with us. Don't bring your dogs here. Our pup was found after missing for 3 days by our family and friends. The owner of this hotel wasn't out looking for our dog and didn't seem to care. We were inPuerto Rico at the time. So thankful for our community for helping us through this devastating circumstance. When he was found we our family members brought him to the emergency vet clinic to get all checked out, the porcupine quills out of his face and was given fluids cause he was dehydrated. The vet told us over the phone when asking how long he thought he was missing for. He told me 72 hrs. 😳 what? the owners of the hotel text me on Tuesday saying he went missing. No phone call and when I messaged her back no response. I called 3 other times wanting more info on our pup. He was found on Wednesday around 6:11 pm on Stark district Road. For him to be that far away and to be that dehydrated we knew she had to be lying. Please please don't bring you pets here. They are not good people.
Laurie was very accommodating when plans with a dogsitter fell through days before a vacation. It turned out for the best because my dog was well taken care of, met lots of new friends and had plenty of exercise; he slept for 3 days straight when he came home. Laurie even sent pictures of his adventures! We will return.
The first time we boarded here was alright. No complaints. Second time was a nightmare. When I texted the owner, inquiring about all of the wounds on my dog’s face, she said she was distracted by puppies and had left my girl CHAINED in a dark room for TEN DAYS!!! I’ve never been more infuriated in my life. When I was running late due to traffic in NYC she told me I should have prepared for that and I was being unprofessional by not communicating that with her beforehand. This lady is awful. When my husband picked up our dog she tried charging him $100 more. Absolutely do not bring your dogs here. They will not be the same dog when you get them back. :(
North Danville Pet Hotel is by far the best pet facility I have ever been to! Laurie provides excellent care for my dog and goes over and above anything I could have ever expected from a pet "camp" – a camp, which in and of itself, expands the very idea of what a doggie daycare/pet boarding provider is with respect to the services provided. Laurie's knowledge and experience regarding animal care is unmatched and the price is exceptionally fair too. Your only concern should be your pet not wanting to come home after staying with Laurie. I highly recommend North Danville Pet Hotel!
We needed dog care while traveling from Denver and staying in the area. Arrangements were made via phone and all seemed like a good fit for our very small dog. As with any long trip, nailing down an exact time of arrival is difficult at best. Following a long flight and travel from Boston, we were 30 minutes late. The lady in charge was down right nasty! She wouldn’t listen to anything we had to say about our dogs care. She literally picked up the cage the dog was in and dumped her in the house. I’ve never seen anything like it. As we drove away, my heart was in my stomach, we were afraid for our dogs safety! We turned around and went back to pick up our dog. Dogs were everywhere, I nearly ran over one in the driveway and another was in the street. The lady got our dog, still in the crate, and again dropped her at our feet.
To say the least the owner is rude and the place is not somewhere I’d ever bring my animal to stay. Can’t see where the dogs are kept because it’s “employees only” and they’re very adamant about that rule. I’d like to know the living situation of my animal when not in my care so that’s a huge red flag. As soon as you arrive you can tell it’s just a shed made into kennels in some lady’s backyard. Not well kept and certainly not someone I’d trust with my animals, extremely rude demeanor.
We are from CT and when we stayed in Danville we boarded our dog there for about 8years. Whether it was winter or summer, daycare or overnight, Laurie and everyone at NDPH were great. Would highly recommend NDPH to anyone who needs a place for their dog(s).
Amazing Doggy Hotel for our Furbabies. We had a last minute need to board our two dogs, a large St Bernard and a puppy . They took them on short notice, stayed in contact the whole time, let me come check on them and visit. It was so clean and the owners are so sweet and kind and all smiles. Amazing people and Kennel . Thank you!!! -Cora
Wonderful breeders and a great place for boarding. Rodger and Marge care for the dogs like they are their own. The dogs get safety, discipline, and lots of love.
Got my Sussex Spaniel from Roger & Margery and very impressed with him. Great folks to deal with, and had a great experience.
Got our GSP from them 9 years ago. Got a great dog and made some good friends at the same time. We bring him back at least twice year to visit. High quality breeder.
Knowledgeable and caring breeder. We're very happy with our puppy.
Above average in every respect, our Greta is a fantastic house dog and outstanding hunter. Easy to train and 10/10 temperament.
Absolutely love this kennel ! Professional, dependable, passionate. Outstanding owner/ operators , your dogs will well cared for . Don't hesitate to contact Roger and Marge .
Have purchased three GSP’s from them and they have all bd fantastic dogs. Well bred for bird hunting or family pet.
Definitely recommend Gun dog kennels and they made the process of getting our boy so easy!!
Great people. We're excited to add her to our family. Thank you.
We absolutely love John and his wife, they take exceptional care of our boy Sully when he is there! We cannot mention "Daycare" to him when at home or he goes nuts because he wants to go back. He goes every Wednesday, he would be going more if we had a way to get him there more but we both work before there open. Highly recommend!!
We dropped our dog and cat at this facility for the duration of a trip we took. They are wonderful and loved our little pom-chi and thought he was adorable. They were not so kind about our cat which surprised us as we knew her to be a very …
Littleton Pet Center provided great daycare for our doggy while we were visiting the area for several weeks. Gerry loved going to play with friends and we always felt like he was in great hands there. They love him just as we do. Highly recommend them for your pups.
John and his staff take excellent care of Gracie. She loves going to doggie daycare. They groom her on a regular basis and she looks beautiful. John goes beyond to help with kenneling and answering new puppy questions. The entire staff is friendly creating a welcoming environment for pets and "parents."
We really liked this place until COVID hit. We had given them a few hundred dollars toward future daycare visits right before. It understandably closed for a while. In July and August, we tried several times to reach them by phone and left …
This place is as people friendly as it is "pet friendly". Everyone I met was as pleasant as possible and everyone seemed to go out of their way to assure me my "Minnie" would be taken care of. While anyone can say a pet will be ok; these …
I drop my dog off for service before I went to a meeting to be groomed, the service was very rude right off, as I came back from my meeting I pulled up and notice my dog out in a pen with other dogs and my dog being attacked and the staff …
My cat stays here every time I need to go out of town. The people are friendly and accommodating and the cattery seems to be quite nice.
Thank you so very much for always taking such good care of Dallas. Just had him groomed again last week. Amazing job. Thank you again.
Love the care and playfulness of the owners and how they treat the kids in their care. Mando comes home happy and tired!
