We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.
Amanda was the perfect housesitter and pet sitter for our cat. She is organized and communicative, and took care to ensure she understood the guidelines for taking care of our home and our cat. She left our house in perfect condition and we returned home to one happy kitty! Would not hesitate to have Amanda housesit for us again or recommend her to others looking for a sitter.
Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella. We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. We would be honored to have them sit again. On top of their great care they left us a thoughtful friendship gift. zeewoi continues to be the best site ever. Not only do we have great pet sitters for Cella, we also have the opportunity to meet great new friends. Thank you!!
I felt totally confident in leaving Darcy and my house in Elaine’s care and I returned to a very contended dog and a perfectly clean and tidy house. Elaine arrived the day before I left so I was able to get to know her and enjoy an evening meal with her before my very early flight. We kept in contact while I was away via WhatsApp and I was happy to see photos of Darcy relaxing in her usual favourite places. It was lovely to be welcomed back home after my holiday by a very well looked after dog and it was so nice that Elaine was here to welcome me and had the lamps on, flowers in vases and a meal in the oven. My house was clean and tidy and Darcy has enjoyed a week of lovely walks and neck scratches. I highly recommend Elaine as a completely reliable pet and house sitter and she is a lovely lady to chat to. I was so pleased that I got to know her.
Kate was an excellent house sitter and pet sitter. She was thoughtful, sensitive, and attuned to our cats and the particulars of our house. It was really easy to communicate with her and she was responsible and conscientious about everything. When we came back our cats seemed unfazed by our return which was a great sign and it was obvious that she spent lots of time with them and gave them lots of love. The house was spotless on our return and she even alerted us to a health matter in one of our cats. She sent lots of cute updates and was easy going when we messed up a logistical detail on our end. Just a delightful person all around. I'd love to have her come again and if you have a chance to have her housesit, jump on it. She is a gem.
Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.
Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith! I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable. In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture. I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!
Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. They are awesome detailed sitters and will make your pets feel loved and secure!!
Anna was the perfect sitter for Tali, Mac and Sox. From the first moment we met Anna we all got on extremely well and we had no worries about leaving our pets in her safe hands. Anna gave them loads of fun time and company, lovely walks and snuggles in front of the TV. Thanks for all the fun we had before and after the sit too. We would not hesitate to recommend Anna for any sit.

Nicola at Watley House has been absolutely amazing with our Jack Russell, Honey. From the very first meeting, it was clear how much Nicola genuinely cares for the pets she looks after. Honey is an anxious and “challenging” dog, but we’ve been blown away by the way Nicola was able to connect to her. The regular photos and videos Nicola sends are such a thoughtful touch - we could see how much Honey enjoys her time there and how well cared for she is. We feel so lucky to have found someone as dedicated and passionate as Nicola to look after Honey. Highly recommended!"
I just had my golden retriever stay at the Wately House for 2 nights and I can’t thank the team enough. They were so welcoming with us and Brody, they kept us well updated with photos and videos. You can truly see that these people love animals so much. They took care of Brody as if it were their own dog. Thank you Nicola, Bennett & bea we will definitely be back. From Andrea ❤️
Nicola has such a wonderful vibe! You can tell she adores animals. We are proud cat mums of two rescue cats who have an abuse & neglect history. Due to our cats trauma & fear around men, we were seeking someone who was not a man who could show patience to slowly earn our cats trust and give them TLC. Nicola did just that, understood our needs and really went above and beyond! :) Our cats have separation anxiety so we were concerned they could have thought we were abandoning them. To our utmost relief, they warmed up to Nicola quickly. Nicola sent us regular daily updates & comments (photos & videos) of our cats. We were so very grateful as this put us at ease being away from them for a week on our first couples holiday. We had many worries since it was our longest ever time away from our fur babies. All our worries were quickly replaced with relief with every cat update she sent us. We highly recommend Nicola, especially to other rescue pet owners!! We also chose Watley House as it is LGBTIQ+ friendly. Thank you so very much for all your pet care & excellent service, Nicola!! We are definitely calling you again! Cheers, Tara & Ryn. (Cat photos below from Nicola's updates. Photo credit to Nicola.)
Our new re homed 8 month old Parson Russel Terrier Atlas recently attended Watley House for doggy day care and also weekend boarding . Nicola is fantastic , she is a true puppy whisperer and extremely experienced with all kinds of dogs and their behaviour . She is passionate about giving the pooches a great experience . Atlas didn’t have that much experience with other dogs and Nicola was very good in matching him up with the best play mates that could match his energy level . Watley house is much more than just daycare and boarding . Atlas lived going and can’t wait to have a play there again . Huge thank you to Nicola and team !
Watley House is truly an amazing and loving place. The team are so kind, gentle, and clearly have a genuine love for all animals 🙏🏼 I was a bit uncertain bringing in my Shiba Inu puppy Ryu, who can be a little fearful and aloof, but Nicola went above and beyond to help him settle in, even taking him for a walk before his first day. Now, Ryu busts himself into daycare and has no hesitation whatsoever- instant play! 🤪 probably a little too much play at times too 😅 The team regularly provide photo and video updates and only look after a few dogs at a time, ensuring each one gets the attention they need 💙 It’s been wonderful to watch Ryu’s confidence grow, and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful local daycare 🐶
Nicola is an absolute gem! We can tell that she has a genuine love and care for animals. From our very first meeting, Nicola met us at the park nearby, talked to us about expectations and allowed our (usually anxious) pup to smell and get comfortable. She then took our pup by the leash and we went for a walk together before leaving. Throughout the day, Nicola sent us regular updates and photos. It’s really reassuring and lovely to see our boy having so much fun. This is evident, because he beams with joy when we see him and he comes home tired from playing all day. We highly recommend Nicola’s pet sitting services. If you are after an authentic home experience, and not a commercial kennel environment. We’ve had our pup stay at Watley House for both daycare and boarding overnight. Keep up your amazing work Nicola! ♥️
When my home was scheduled to be sold via auction, I was incredibly anxious about finding a safe place for my precious cat. Thankfully, I reached out to Nicola of Watley House, Ashfield, and my worries were immediately put to rest. Nicola's positive, friendly, and professional demeanour, combined with her outstanding customer service, reassured me that I had chosen the best pet boarding service (Cat Day Care) in Sydney. Knowing my cat would be well cared for alleviated a significant part of the stress that comes with selling a home. Although we sold just before auction, and my cat didn’t end up going to Watley House, I have no doubt that he would have received the best care possible. I highly recommend Nicola and Watley House to anyone in need of exceptional pet care services.
Nicola and her husband were amazing. Helped me with a very last-minute dog sitting request for our Roger and Kevin. I received updates several times a day, letting me know how they were going. I've just picked them up and they are relaxed and not so happy to see me, I think they'd prefer to stay. I can't rate this business highly enough. I felt so at ease leaving them in the care of people who really know how to look after our fur babies. Thank you so much for all the love and attention you have given my boys.
Wonderful service! I’m so grateful to Nicola and Bennett for the attentive and compassionate care they provided to my anxious, senior poodles throughout their boarding experience. They quickly understood my dogs’ unique needs and ensured they felt comfortable and safe. They kept in touch with me throughout the stay, providing updates that gave me peace of mind. I came home to two relaxed and happy pups, which says it all. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for trustworthy pet care.
Nicola is amazing with my dog. I was quite anxious at the start, as my dog had never been alone at another location before. Nicola sent me regular updates with photos and comments to keep me posted on what he was doing and how he was settling in. She continues to do this even now, which I very much appreciate. My dog has become so much more comfortable around other dogs, he was quite timid before. Nicola picks up and drops off my dog. She is ALWAYS exactly on time for pick ups, which I very much appreciate as I am getting ready to leave for work. My dog also developed Epilepsy this year, which was the whole reason I contacted Nicola. And I have to say, she was not scared off when I told her about his pills and described what kind of seizures he might have. I had contacted other businesses and they turned me away! Not Watley House though! We had a huge conversation over the phone so Nicola was confident with what to do. Thankfully his meds are doing the trick and he has not had any more seizures since starting at Watley House. I highly recommend Watley House to anyone looking for a doggy day care service. I am very protective of my dog, and I would only trust the best to look after him. My mum, and Nicola!
Gus is the best and kindest dog sitter in Sydney. Our dogs look forward to visiting his house. He goes that extra mile to make sure the dogs are happy and well looked after. Thanks Gus
If you are looking for a dog trainer who will give you amazing results and fast then look no further! Gus is extremely knowledgeable and patient with his pets. I love that Lilly receives his undivided attention in a comfortable at home environment. She is always so excited to see him.
It’s hard enough leaving a beloved pet at home let alone with someone else to look after, however, GusPets service is really an extension of being at home. The extensive behavioural knowledge and expertise is so reassuring. When I think dog house, I think cold and uninviting, GusPets home is welcoming and designed truly for our fur family in mind. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and Gus loves all of his guests as if they were his own. 5 out of 5 stars all round! Thank you Gus for becoming part of and taking care of my fur family.
We love Gus and so does Chupi! As soon as she sees his house she goes crazy with excitement. She comes home exhausted from all the fun and playing all day. Gus watched over her for 4 days for us, and she didn’t want to come home. Very happy we found Gus.
We call Gus 'The Dog Whisperer'. His passion for dogs drives every service he provides. Gus excels at the essentials - his vast knowledge of dog issues, the safe and enriching envronment for day and overnight stays and the highly effective puppy training skills. Gus genuinely cares about the happiness, well being and quality of our puppy's life and our family as dog owners so we enjoy the benefits of his service every single day.
Gus is amazing. You could not ask for a more kind, caring and professional pet carer. Gus goes above and beyond to care for your pets and treat them as a part of his family. Gus is very knowledgeable in animal behaviours and emotions and is able to navigate any quirks that you may be concerned about. I know that I can leave my dogs in Gus's care and not have to worry about a thing. Thank you Gus!
Gus is amazing! His passion for dogs knows no bounds. My puppy Kali absolutely loves going to Gus'. As soon as I say his name she starts crying and jumping around like mad. Kali is my first dog, so to know she is happy and extremely well looked after when she is with Gus is very comforting for me. I can't recommend Gus Pets enough to anyone who is looking for dog day care.
Amazing service and absolutely loves dogs! Gus has looked after Frankie from a very young age and Frankie always has the best time in his care. Thank you for all of your support and love 🥰 …
We LOVE Guspets and so does our little doggo Monty. Gus has been a huge reassurance for us and now we wouldnt leave our dog with anyone else! Infact we planned our whole relocation for our pets move back to NZ around Gus' availability. His calm and reassuring approach made us have peace of mind when leaving our 4month old puppy with Gus and we have been using him ever since. He is super knowledgeable and friendly, and keeps us up-to-date with videos, photos and most importantly our questions to ensure we are relaxed about our pups wellbeing. Highly recommend Gus and all his services!!
Gus is a very good trainer. Our 3 year old dog barks at everything,by the end of the hour Gus had taught us how to handle the barking and the essential commands like "leave it". Our dog was able to stop barking and wait. It was amazing. I feel with the training today and consistent daily 5 to 10 minute training the problem barking will be solved. Thank you Gus.
Thank you to the team at Spoilt Rotten Dogs for looking after Toby who has just finished 3 weeks boarding. Toby is a 9 year old spoodle who has stayed at Spoilt Rotten Dogs, from time to time since he was 1. He has always been very happy staying there. It was great being able to check in on instagram to see how well he had settled in and that he was having a good time with his doggie friends. It was reassuring to know I was leaving leaving Toby in such excellent care.
Best place to board our labradoodle, Olive. She loves it there and always comes home tired from playing with all the other dogs but happy. Owners and staff are really wonderful and caring. Also, very helpful and flexible where possible when we needed last minute changes to the boarding schedule.
These guys are ALL about your dog! Who could ask for anything more intuitive? Didn't have to, it's their name! Thanks. My 11 year old Marleykins loves his time here. Thanks AJ ❤️
The team at Spoilt rotten dogs are fantastic. Very professional and at the same time very comforting too. AJ was amazing, kept us updated throughout our whole break. Gave our boys and the other dogs all the attention that they need. Followed our routine to suit our boys. We are always using them for day care and long stays and I would highly recommend them. A huge thank you for taking a load off our shoulders and making sure our dogs felt like they were at home.
Everything was perfect! The staff is amazing and very accommodating! We will come again :)
Thank you to the team at Spoilt Rotten Dogs for looking after Monty who just finished 3 weeks boarding here and occasionally comes for daycare. Everytime l checked instagram he was happily running around with a bone in his mouth. The staff are friendly, quick to reply on emails and instagram. I felt at ease knowing l was leaving him in good care. He has been home now 2 days and still looks exhausted!
Absolutely knackered after a day at daycare. Had so much playtime and fun, Soot is such a happy and sleepy boy. The staff are so kind, caring and flexible, I feel so at ease knowing he’s so well cared for. My new weekly regular and couldn’t recommend them enough, thank you!
My little Chewbacca has moved from wine country to city life. He is a very anxious and a high strung dog. After denial after denial from doggy daycares saying he is “too much to handle”, Spoilt Rotten dogs took him in and catered his needs with open arms!!!! He has separation anxiety and the staff take him of a morning and holds him to calm his anxiety and make him feel safe. For this, along with keeping a close eye on my little boy and providing updates of him on social media throughout the course of the day, he has flourished into the daycare world. I could not have made his transition to the city any easier without this company. The fact that on top of this, I can get him groomed WHILE at daycare, and getting my Pomeranian actually groomed PROPERLY and the most PERFECTLY that I have ever gotten at the most AFFORDABLE price, is something that will always leaving me and my little guy feeling so looked after. The hand over from morning to afternoon on how his day went really shows that they are keeping a close eye on the furry friend I love most! If you are thinking of giving this place a try for your furry friend, it would be the best choice!
My little dog Scruffy has been going to Spoilt Rotten Dogs for over four years now and he absolutely loves it. It is great that he gets to socialise with other dogs every week. Scruffy has his regular dog mates that he plays with each week. He always come back tired after a full day of play at Spoilt Rotten Dogs. The staff are always friendly and professional.
I bring my dog Remi here fairly regularly and he absolutely loves it! He’s always so excited when we pull up on the street and is tugging to get to their front door asap. The staff are always really lovely! Their rates are great. And I love their Instagram updates of what the dogs are up to throughout the day. Couldn’t recommend Spoilt Rotten Dogs more
I don’t personally hang out there because Im a human (bummer) but my dog told me he LOVES the Hound Lounge. It’s where he catches up with all his mates twice a week and makes sure their butts still smell friendly. He also gets so many belly rubs from the wonderful humans who work there! What a deal especially when he’s not the one paying the bill! Luckily the Hound Lounge is very affordable for his humans! He’s even has a BFF called Loki he met there (see the pics) and they love to play and give each other lots of kisses. I know this because I get a cute report card after he visits and they post tons of adorable pictures on their socials. What a world we live in!
If you're like me, you only want the best for your furry lil pal. Well, look no further, because The Hound Lounge are the best doggie daycare in town. My dog has been attending The Hound Lounge for the past two years (roughly 60 sessions), and his excitement when I tell him he's going to daycare has never faded. The team are experienced, caring, friendly, and transparent. All attributes of someone you want to look after your dog. Since attending The Hound Lounge, my dog has improved his communication with other dogs, become more social, and is overall a happier (an exhausted!) dog after a day at daycare. The level of care and attention my dog receives makes The Hound Lounge worth every penny.
My aloof grumpy small hound wagged his tail the other day as I dropped him off. This is a success! While the dog doesn't seem terribly thrilled at being abandoned to doggie daycare every Wednesday, I've found the staff warm, welcoming, understanding and they genuinely care for the dogs. Super nice to stressed owners as well. Also the report cards are a hoot. Thanks hound lounge! Dogtax photo of the beast attached.
Great evening classes in addition to their wonderful day care (we haven’t tried because I work from home but we get echoes from others in our class who are clients!). The evening classes by Speak Dog offer a controlled and safe environment to achieve all kinds of new skills. Regardless of the class topics, there’s a lot to benefit from having a place to practice calm and self control around other people and dogs. The Hound Lounge is always **spotless** and smells clean, is well equipped and spacious with three different enclosed indoor parks to have different groups of dogs to match similar socialising/activity needs or sizes.
I have not been in a situation with previous pups that I needed somewhere for our pup to be safe secure and loved. He is initially quite timid. We have been sending him to gods Hound lounge since he was fully vaccinated. The level of care and professionalism is wonderful ,as a person that used to train and trial dogs you get a feeling about a place, my feeling for hound lounge is very positive. Could not recommend them enough.
The inner west is lucky to have a place like this. Accepting small to large breed dogs for full day care services including specialised training for the furbabies. Our dog is a regular and he loves going. Very talented staff who are trained vet nurses, advanced dog trainers and all round dog lovers.
Our Lulu has been going to Hound Lounge for 18 months and she loves it. The staff are great and the care they provide is exceptional.
Have completed 3 private lessions with Betty, an amazing trainer with 'Speak Dog' & signed up for more group lessons. We have a very sweet & beautiful but overly reactive, strong & exuberant standard poodle pup. The lessons have been very positive for our baby but made me realise it's the humans that need to learn. Just love watching Betty handle our dog & it all seems so natural & easy but it's like handling our kids, they just don't do as well with their parents. I am determined however that with Betty's expert guidance, knowledge & patience, our pooch will settle & stop breaking my bones! I really appreciate the support that Betty has given us & highly recommend her as a dog trainer. She definitely speaks dog!
My dog is crazy active and hyper when she gets the zoomies. This place is such a relief when there is no one home for extended periods of time, as I can safely drop my pupper off and know she is having the best time (and not destroying the house). My dog absolutely loves the staff (sometimes more than she loves me) and loves her new puppy friends. The staff have always been respectful towards me as a client and are very intuitive with my dogs behaviours (always flick me a text when they are worried that she is stressed/ overstimulated). Recommend this place 100%
The Hound Lounge have been responsible for my dog Sally's training and well-being since she was a tiny puppy - they taught her pretty much everything she knows about how to dog in a busy urban world! They are exceptionally hard-working and diligent, we would not be where we are today without the love and care of The Hound Lounge team.
Jane loves her gang of dogs at Woofles. My dog loves her too. He always comes home well exercised and very happy. She’s a natural with them all. For me she is a godsend walking my dog when I am working from home.
For the past 4 years Walter has a twice weekly catch up with his Woofles pals and loves it! Jane “Woofles” provides an absolutely superb service. She is kind, caring, professional and Walter adores her. From an extremely timid, shy and scared boy he has thrived under her care and made many new friends 🐾💗 …
Coco has spent the past five years as a regular member of the Woofles gang, joining Jane on outings several times each week. The care and dedication provided by Jane is evident and Coco has had a lot of fun. I can recommend Woofles without any hesitation.
Jane is amazing and our pup 🌶️ loves her. I would strongly recommend Jane she genuinely cares for and loves all her pups in the woofles family. …
Jane is an amazing person and the dogs love her! She helped us with our last dog and now with RudtheRed who has such a great time out with Woofles and the dogs! When we see Jane in the dog park NOT on his organised Woofles walks he always wants to go home with her and not me! Highly recommended!
Jane, who runs WOOFLES, is so caring and lovely with all the dogs. Our 2 cavoodles love the trips to local parks in the Woofles van. Jane sends photos of each outing and her communication is excellent. Best in the inner west! 🐶🐶 …
We've had the pleasure of using Jane's dog walking services for over four years, and it's been an absolute delight. Her love for dogs is genuine . It's clear from every interaction that she doesn't just see this as a job but as a passion. Our dog adores her, and the feeling is mutual. 😃 …
A long over due review! Jane has been walking my dog for almost the entire time since adopting him 6 years! The only reason Jane no longer walks Luther is we moved out of the area. Let's just say if Luther had to choose me or Jane, he would choose Jane 😉. Very sad to have left the Woofles family …
We have been using Jane for years to take Pucho on his walks. She is friendly, professional and great with all dogs! Pucho always comes home with the biggest smile and the photos of him and his gang confirm all the fun they had. Highly recommend the amazing Woofles service for fun, exercise and piece of mind.
Jane has been this little dude’s favourite person since he was a wee pup. I’m convinced he just bides his time with me as his owner until his weekly Woofles walk. I dare say this is a common story among the Woofles gang. I love that when the dogs are with Jane, they are literally Jane’s dogs. Cannot recommend highly enough.
My two boys love it here! They get so excited when the van pulls up. The Daycare is super convenient - the boys get picked up in the morning and dropped off in the arvo. There are webcams throughout the facility that allow me to watch my boys too, which is always entertaining. They come home tired and happy. Dog Royalty also offer boarding as well. We had our dogs stay at the Rossmore facility for about 3 weeks. It was a stressfree holiday for us not having to worry about them because they were constantly under supervision, whilst being entertained and kept to a nice schedule. The boys came back home from boarding looking as healthy as when they left. Would 100% recommend their service to others.
Chris and the team at Dog Royalty have been providing exceptional dog daycare and training to our two (very small, very big personality) boys, Franklin and Theodore, since 2020. Daycare: The drop off and pick up service is prompt and a huge timesaver for us, considering we both work and often would not be able to make pick up/drop off if we had to do this on our own. Our boys come home from their day exhausted but happy- and we can see why by checking in on them throughout the day using the dog royalty webcam. The team’s communication is fantastic, which was especially helpful in the transition period when both dogs started attending. The centre itself is a clean and well equiped enviroment, with plenty of activities. The team also regularly send us photo and video updates of them too, and overall, the service is very competitively priced. Training service: We also decided to enlist Doy Royalty's training services to help our youngest dog tackle some reactivity while walking on lead. Chris took the time to chat to us comprehensively about our goals and objectives, determined our current approach to training, and spent almost three hours walking us (literatally and figuratively) through a new, sensible and gentle training approach. By the end of this session we felt so much more confident in recognising and dealing with any lead reactivity and my partner and I now equipped with a consistent approach to dealing with any reactive behaviour. Chris also followed up with a comprehensive written training plan that has been easy to incorporate into our daily routine. I cannot recommend the Dog Royalty team enough when it comes to providing daycare and/or training for your fur baby. Thank you again, Chris and the Dog Royalty team!
Dog Royalty is awesome! They came highly recommended via a friend and family member, and have superseded our expectations. The staff are so great and you know they absolutely love their job. They provide the wonderful service of picking up and dropping off our fur-baby, Crumpet, which puts us at ease, particularly on the days we cannot work from home. It's a beautiful thing to know your dog is in wonderful and safe hands when he is away from us. We are chuffed and the pictures speak for themselves. We love the one that could pass as an album cover 😉 Louise Marrickville
Our dog loves Dog Royalty. It is his happy place. He is always super excited to be picked up by Dog Royalty’s van. The service is extraordinarily convenient - your furry friend gets picked up in the morning and dropped off in the afternoon, back home after a busy day of playing with other dogs. All staff members are super friendly, responsive and reliable. We never had any problems getting information or communicating with Dog Royalty. We highly recommend Dog Royalty. Your dog will love it!
Our dog Bobby loves attending daycare at Dog Royalty and doesn’t glance back to us when the trainers come to collect him at the start of the day. He was a tiny 2kg puppy when he first started attending but the trainers all took great care of him slowly introducing him to the other dogs. He is now a hefty 4kg and full of a confidence which belies his size. We get regular pictures of Bobby at play from the dog royalty team with pics. The team is all incredibly caring.
Fantastic service for busy dog owner’s in our community.Good communication between Dog Royalty and dog owner .Our Goldie just loves her daycare day and happily exhausted after it mentally and physically.
I am so grateful to Chris and his wonderful team at Dog Royalty. We have 2 mini groodle pups who are now 6 months old. Chris came to our home for training when the pups were just 10 weeks old, his advice, care and expertise allowed us to get off to a great start with the pups. His early visit, assessment and expertise were fundamental as it allowed us to implement training in those very early days. I would not hesitate to book another review with him if I had any concerns in the future. As soon as the pups were able to attend Dog Royalty day care the wonderful team assisted us in booking them in. The pick up and delivery service is excellent. The contact via the app and the webcam are wonderful. The pups are up each morning hoping that it is a day care day as they love it. Their attendance has allowed them to socialise with other dogs and the staff, this has translated in to them being calmer and friendly on our daily walks and day to day outings. The Dog Royalty staff are exceptional, knowledgeable, warm, friendly, professional and clearly love animals. 5 stars for every aspect of this service.
The first day our puppy left for Dog Royalty, I cried. I continued crying for the next few weeks. As a doggy parent, It’s hard putting your trust in others. But I’m so glad I found dog royalty. I kept seeing the van around my area so I thought I would look into it. I was on the waitlist for a good few months but when I got the email to say there were spots available, I immediately signed him up. My dog Thor LOVES going! When he hears the dog on the door, he goes absolutely nuts. The staff who pick him up and work there are always so friendly and reassuring and you can see how much they love dogs and him. It’s a pretty amazing service. He gets picked up and dropped off at the door. We also get a little debrief on our dog’s day. Dog royalty have a live webcam so I like to watch Thor and see what he gets up too. He comes back home sooo exhausted. Our dog is highly social and loves playing with other dogs so we know this is the right place for him. They also have a What’s App group so we can message them at any time and they are extremely prompt with their responses. It was hard letting go of him but I’m so glad I did it. He loves going. If he could go every day, he would. Don’t hesitate, just do it. Your dog will love it!
Gaston loves Dog Royalty, he waits to hear the sound of the van pull up & he loves his days there as he gets to play all day. He has come back calm and tired but also the added training he gets has helped mellow him out. He’s a big boy and full of beans so it’s been such a fantastic experience and the team all lovely with him & he is such a happy pup. Couldn’t recommend enough to try them out.I also love that I can check in on him whenever I want by logging in.
We LOVE Dog Royalty! My 1 year old English Staffy "Joy" has been attending Dog Royalty for over 4 months now and she always has the best time with her doggy pals and comes home utterly exhausted (and happy)! It's been so great for her socialisation skills and I love that they have a big outdoor play area (where Joy can enjoy her sunny bakes). Their pick up and drop off service is so convenient for full time workers (like myself). Chris and the team are always super friendly, helpful and they will treat your pooch like their very own (literally like Royalty). I also love the regular updates and photos they provide and the fact that you can watch your dog having the best time via their live camera's is the absolute best! and also gives you that peace of mind. Couldn't recommend them enough! I'm so happy that we found this amazing place :) Thank you for taking such great care of my Joy Joy!
I have been sending my dog to DIT Marrickville since she was 4 months old and she loved it from the very first day. The team are all super friendly and genuinely care about your fur baby. The day care facilities are so bright and colourful. I get video updates through the day and they always have themed events and fun and games for the dogs. My pup had her first birthday there with a cake and all her friends. I also use the grooming services and the team do an excellent job. The entire DIT team are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It’s great knowing that I am leaving her with people who love her as much as I do! Thank you DIT !
What can one say about trust! I leave my princess, Sara Blu, with Dogs in Town when I travel. She is home boarded, is pampered, and lives her best life. Her care is unmatched and I trust DIT without reservation! I recommend them for whatever your pawfect pup needs!
Thank you - Rocky & Chloe looks great every time we pick them up. Prices are reasonable and easy booking process! Happy customer!
Oscar attends daycare at Dog in Town twice a week, and it’s his favorite part of the week! The facility is clean, the staff is professional, and my lab gets so excited every time we pull into the parking lot. (Maybe he’s excited to see Zabdy, one of the doggy attendants he loves) I love seeing him make new doggy friends too while I’m at work. Highly recommend!
My Poodle, Teddy, got the best haircut ever at Marrickville last week. The grooming team was meticulous and clearly experienced. The soft background music in the grooming area kept Teddy calm throughout the session. Couldn’t be happier with the result! 🐩✨ …
We love Dogs in Town Marrickville! My Chihuahua, Peanut, absolutely loves daycare here and their indoor space is perfect for small dogs. The staff are so gentle and caring. Drop-offs are quick and hassle-free with convenient parking right outside.
Dogs in Town Marrickville is the best dog facility ever! My energetic Spaniel, Bruno, looks forward to daycare at Marrickville every Monday. The spacious indoor play area and cheerful decor make it such a fun environment, and the staff’s passion really shines through!
Our doggo absolutely loves to go to daycare at dogs in town and play all day with all his friends! The staff take incredible care of him and even drop him home afterwards. It’s a huge help to us when our work schedules get busy. Thank you Dogs in Town
Every time I have taken my pup here it has been incredibly disappointing. This time was the worst.. they just didn’t groom his legs, at all. He has a broken leg, which we asked them not to touch. Instead, they didn’t touch any of them. This is an example of the miscommunications that happen - you’re not talking to your groomer when you check them in, you’re talking to the reception staff. It is 30 degrees, and he just came back from the groomers with 2 inches of fur on his legs. One miscommunication, fine. But four? That’s worth a review.
I am writing this review for DIT Marrickville with such disappointment for a number of reasons. 1. The ladies at front desk are such lovely and wonderful individuals, ever so pleasant and lovely to deal with coupled with beautiful smiles to greet you. 2. My little pup seems happy enough to go there the two times she has had her first tidy-up and her actual first full groom. 3. The shop has a good range of products and has an attractive vibe. On our second visit, I specifically told them I wanted a scissor only cut and was happy to pay an additional cost for it (I ticked scissor only whilst booking online) and I repeated this request when I went to drop off my pup. I provided photos for reference how I wanted my pup to look (also attached with the online booking) and it was all agreed upon. When I went to pick her up, I saw a skinny body as she has lost all her fluff and I was not expecting that from a scissor only cut plus she looked nowhere close to the photo examples I provided. I did not kick up a fuss as there was another customer waiting to drop off her dog. That night, we looked at her fur closely and could see shaved uneven parts on her body, AND coincidentally DIT's stories showed a clip of how my pup was shaved with a clipper. I messaged them and asked for clarification if she was scissor cut as per my request. Their response: "I just confirmed with the groomer and she was done with scissors only". My next question was: "That’s interesting as it’s definitely a clipper the groomer was using on her for the length of her body as I can see after logging off work a little while ago based on your stories." to which I did not get a response, until I asked again the following day for an acknowledgement. Their response: "The tool you saw in the video might have looked like clippers, but it’s actually a special comb that we use to prepare the coat before the scissor cut." Apparently it is a confusion on my part. I use a clipper myself, and I use combs too, so it is highly unlikely I am confused. I proceeded to check with 2 different groomers how they would approach a scissor cut if I requested for it. One straight up said to me, we don't do it, it takes too long and it would be hard to charge a fair price, and if another groomer tells you they do only scissor cut, they are not telling the truth. She did mention that a handful of high-end groomers do it, however at a higher price. I had an open conversation with another groomer if they will say yes to a scissor cut but use a clipper as well, she said yes, that's what we would normally do, however, if you specifically say scissor only, we will do it for you under premium cut, and yes it does look different. My issue with DIT here is not that my pup's fur was looking choppy, nor was it not a full scissor cut. My issue is they have the audacity of telling me that I am confused with the "special comb" that looked like clippers to prepare the coat for a scissor cut. There is nothing special about a comb that is attached to a clipper, I bet every other household has one to trim short hair between haircuts. Please do not take me as a fool as I gave you an opportunity to come clean by checking in with you first. I do not appreciate being lied to. 14/12/2024 - In response to the owner's feedback, please note I have no intention of defaming any business whatsoever, I do not benefit from doing so. I'm not sure which part of my review is rude and unprofessional as everything I have mentioned are facts. I asked you politely twice if she was indeed only scissor cut, before putting up my review. Plus, I do not need to be better educated in dog grooming as that is not my profession, I'll concentrate on saving lives thank you very much. I'll let the photos do the talking. If she is not being shorn down in the photos then I am indeed the fool here. Also, DOG has only been twice, not four times as claimed and when I picked her up the second time, I did not say she looked great. More importantly, it is laughable that my little girl is a HE 😵💫
Highly recommend Snout & About!! 5⭐️ would give more if I could! Our dog Crumpet absolutely loves his walks with Jenna. He wakes up every Tuesday waiting at the door for her. Jenna is punctual, reliable and fun! The booking / payment system is simple and Jenna has been really accomodating to try and move things around when our schedule changes. We also get sent a report every walk with really cute photos of crumpet and his new doggy friends 🥰🥰🥰
Jenna always takes wonderful care of our greyhound Patty! Patty doesn’t always get along with other dogs and has developed some mobility issues, but Jenna makes sure she is happy, comfortable and safe 😊 Patty and I have been very happy with her care and would highly recommend her services! …
I could not be more grateful to Jenna for her kindness to my dogs - professional, reliable and dependable. Best of all my dogs love her and knowing they were being walked properly made all the difference to my holiday.
We love snout & about. So happy to have found Jenna, my lil Jasper loves going out on his weekly van trip and explorations. Brightens both of our days, Jasper out on his adventures with his new pals and me at work seeing the photos on the service report of his happy face. 🌞 …
I can't speak highly enough of Jenna who has been taking my seven-month-old Great Dane puppy Phoebe for training walks three times a week for the past few months while I recover from an injury. Phoebe is very bouncy (like all Great Danes, she can inadvertently cause damage to humans and furniture just by wagging her tail) and is easily spooked by unfamiliar sounds and objects. Thanks to Jenna, however, Phoebe is learning impulse control and developing much more confidence out in the world. Jenna is incredibly kind and patient with Phoebe (who adores her) and she is both very reliable and very flexible in terms of walking arrangements (for instance, last week she took Phoebe to the vet to be weighed as part of their outing). After each walk, Jenna sends an email with a detailed description of how the walk went, along with a whole bunch of gorgeous photos and a map showing what territory they covered. I fully trust her with my house keys and my 40kg fur baby, and recommend her unreservedly to others! (Also, "Snout and About" is a cool pun!)
I will definitely recommend this business!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jenna has been taking good care of my fur baby twice a week for the past month and the level of care that she has been providing is thus far better than any previous dog trainers and dog walkers I have dealt with in the past. She has definitely outdone my expectations. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jenna is great - easy booking system, great communication and most importantly takes wonderful care of our dog. Highly recommend Snout & About!
Great service! Can recommend. Jenna is considerate and thorough and we always know our doggo is in safe hands
Our nearly 2 year old groodle loves walks with Jenna and we love great feedback with pictures.
Love Mad Paws! So nice to have my dog cared for by Savin and his family each time we go away 🤩 I know my dog is looked after and loved. So lovely to receive pics of him while we’re away too. Thanks so much for caring for my little darling while we’re away 🥰 …
We recently had an unfortunate experience with Adrian, who we found through MadPaws. Our 6-year-old Golden Retriever, Benji, stayed with him last week, and while the sitter had great reviews and the meet-and-greet with his Maremmano dog went smoothly, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. When we picked Benji up, we noticed a lot of blood on his thigh. At first, we thought it might be a scratch, but once we got home, we discovered five puncture wounds, which were clearly bite marks. We were devastated and rushed Benji to the emergency vet twice that night to ensure he received the care he needed. We messaged the sitter to let him know what had happened and shared photos of the wounds. Initially, he denied that his dog could have bitten Benji, claiming he always monitors the dogs. While we weren’t accusing him, we simply wanted to share our experience so he could take extra precautions in the future. Unfortunately, he did not respond to our concerns at first. After following up to express how upsetting the situation was and mentioning we would leave feedback on MadPaws to inform other pet owners, he finally apologized. However, we felt that the response lacked genuine empathy or acknowledgment of the seriousness of what happened. We are sharing this feedback not to defame the sitter but to inform other pet owners. If you are considering this sitter, please be aware of his dog’s behavior and ensure your pet’s safety. We don’t want any other pets to go through what Benji endured. Benji is recovering now, but this experience has left us deeply shaken. As pet owners, we understand how important it is to ensure our furry friends are safe and well-cared for when we’re away, and we hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.
Tiago and his partner were absolutely wonderful with having our puppy sleep over for a night. They were lovely to deal with and treated our little man with such care and kindness. We highly recommend Mad Paws. What an awesome and easy service to use. 🐾
Dont use these services, just google pet sitters and walkers and have a chat with one of them about options, all pet sitters are different and you will be able to find someone who suits your needs without letting Mad Paws take a cut for no reason at all, they provide nothing.
Terrible company, after contacting about 50 sitters who are either overpriced or keep declining I’m still yet to find someone who can look after my pets. The app is horrid and keeps crushing and the fee they want to take makes the whole sitting unaffordable. Would not recommend
Great business very easy to use and our pet sitter was amazing our dog loved her stay. Will be using her again for sure. Can 100% recommend Mad Paws
I've been using mad paws for over a year and had great sitters each time. I like that you can see reviews before booking with someone. We have a few sitters now that we use on a regular basis.
Mad Paws is a fantastic service that put me in touch with great dog people. The system was really easy to use, I was able to review potential pet sitters based on their profile, reviews and proximity to my home. Booking and payment was secure and simple. Each pet sitter has looked after our puppy perfectly and sent photo updates while we were away. Our dog returned home happy and relaxed. I can highly recommend this service.
Mad Paws is a great service that put me in touch with a wonderful cat sitter. The system was really easy to use - I was able to review potential pet sitters based on their profile and reviews, and proximity to my home. Booking and payment was secure and simple. Fiona, the caring sitter that looked after my two cats did everything perfectly and sent me updates during my time away. The cats were relaxed and happy when I returned. I can highly recommend this service.
I found Mad Paws by accident and was very impressed with this service. The booking process is quick, easy and support is always available if required. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion. My dog had a great time as the sitter owns two dogs so he had a lot of bonding with his new mates. I'll definite use Mad Paws from now on as it was a very positive experience for me and my dog and totally opposite to the kennel which I found impersonal, expensive and jail-like.
What a find, an absolute rare gem, Karl ticks all the boxes. It's quite a challenge to find someone who is confident handling our mixed bag of feathers, fur and scales....but Karl took care of them all, above and beyond our expectations. The garden even survived a heatwave week. Great communicator, professional and with a passion for all creatures, big and small. So happy to have Karl on board, we can travel with total peace of mind.
Karl regularly feeds and walks our beautiful boy, a 9 year old standard poodle when we are away or busy with work. He is reliable and our animals love him, we also love the knowledge that they are being loved and exercised by someone who truly enjoys being with them.
