Our two pups were so well taken care of and Maiara provided the peace of mind so we could actually relax on our time away knowing that our dogs were cared for as if we were there ourselves. One of our pups is a senior (15.5 year old husky!) who takes medication and Maiara was amazing and patient with him. Senior pups come with their whole own set of special needs and she showed so much compassion and genuine love for dogs. First time Westcoast Paws client and the pet sitter was contracted for 9 days, 2x day, 30 minutes each visit. Wren stayed 8-12 minutes on average and did not show up one full day. She left the door ajar one time, and one cat got out. Luckily, she was able to get her back inside. I explicitly told her we have coyotes in the neighborhood, and on my block, four cats and one dog have gotten caught in the past 3 months. Per the contract, she was to feed the cats and clean the litter box daily, and make sure the water bowl was replenished. Food was set out, labeled along with measuring cup. She managed to feed one cat six cans of prescription food and a large bowl of prescription food, which was an insane amount of food for nine days - The floor around the auto water bowl was overfilled and water on the floor. Westcoast Paws promised pics and updates on how the kitties were doing, but I received zero pics and one update from Adam. Thank God for Ring video. The owner of Westcoast Paws, Adam, was a delight to speak to, but unfortunately, he has to bear some of the responsibilities. Dog walkers & cat sitters are entering our homes and trusted with our beloved pets. I dont believe Wren cared for cats. How difficult is it to clean a litter box.. I told her that one of my cats would NOT use a dirty litter box and that he would poop on the floor if the litter box was dirty. That's exactly what happened! Not once did she clean the litter boxes. We agreed that she was to come no later than 10:00 am and no later than 9:00 pm. She arrived after 12:00 noon and again 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm. One day she arrived at 12:00 and came back at 4:00 pm and the next day 12:00 pm! Never again. Never! If I could edit my review on Thumbtack, I would.

We had the pleasure of working with Adam and his amazing team member, Evelyn, for the past several months, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of their support. Both my partner and I have just had such a wonderful experience. Evelyn has been an absolute gem. Our dogs adore her and get so excited every time she arrives to take them out. She’s always on time, super reliable, and really takes the time to make sure the dogs are comfortable. The pictures she sends during their walks are such a lovely touch, and it’s clear she truly cares about our pups. Esther took wonderful care of my two green parrotlets. When we got home they were so calm and happy. I could tell that they had been well treated. The cages, seed trays, and water were clean. The birds are not always easy to care for because they are little nippy escape artists. My husband and I were very pleased.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Adam and his wonderful team member, Evelyn, for several months now, and I can’t express how grateful I am for their help. My partner and I both suffer from chronic illness, and while we do everything we can to care for our two long-haired Chihuahua boys, Wally and Reishi, sometimes it’s just too difficult to take them on the long walks they love so much. Adam, the owner, and his team of reliable, responsible, trusted, experienced and loving pet caretakers are exceptional and the only petsitting service I employ and will ever employ. It's clear to me that Lady Baba, my 4 year old and very particular cat (with an even more particular owner), feels genuinely comfortable with them, as she actually let's them pet her and comes to greet them upon first introduction - which is very unusual for her. Adam arranges for an intro visit where you get to meet the sitter, introduce them to your baby, and show them around and walk them through the caretaking protocol. When I met Remal, I knew she was a winner from that very moment. Even when Remal wasn't available, Adam sent another INCREDIBLE petsitter, Natalia. And when neither of them were available (it was a very last minute booking and over a holiday weekend), Adam pulled through with another amazing and loving petsitter, Paula, yet again. Oh, and he is very accommodating to helping you out last minute. Haha. I couldn't recommend Adam and his wonderful and lovely network of petsitters at West Coast Paws more. She’s extremely knowledgeable about how to care for dogs, flexible with my timings, and just an overall pleasure to talk to. We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!

So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.

Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙

Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!

Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!

I highly recommend this company not just as a dog trainer but for all your pet care needs. They do training, dog sitting, walking, and even cat sitting. They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. They are also great about videos and pictures of how the days are going. My pup went there three days a week for daycare and forore extended boarding stays while I was away. They're great!

Couldn't be more grateful to have found Mina and Ryan to sit and board my mini doodle dog. My dog started going to their friendly home at 4 months old, and she is 2.5 years old now. Sometimes she goes for daycare or overnights, and other times she boards with Mina and Ryan for a full week. Mina sends pics/vids / fun updates throughout the day and it's lovely to see all the dogs socializing, relaxing and playing together. Mina and Ryan are very accommodating and kind. I have two dogs who go to daycare and board with Mina. She was immensely helpful when we found a sickly elderly dog roaming the streets. She helped advise, administer medications, and would hold her throughout the day as our nervous dog learned to trust and play. And our boisterous, high energy English bulldog loves to go and play with all of her friends at Under Our Woof. Now healthy, both our dogs go crazy when they know we are heading to daycare at Under Our Woof. I don't know what I would have done without this incredible team! They are like family to our pups

So glad to have found Under Our Woof for my chihuahua Reesy. I think she’s a lot happier staying here because it’s more like the cozy home environment she’s used to. I love that Reesy gets to play with other dogs too, and she even made a friend last time. Mina & Ryan are dog whisperers. They do an amazing job at the day care of my dog who is a 35lb, 2 year old golden doodle. I get regular updates of pictures of playtime & it brings me joy & comfort. My pug Lily stayed at Under Our Woof when I had to go out of town last minute. I was nervous to leave her someplace over night. I felt so relieved when a friend of mine referred me. We love Country Dog Ranch, we needed a place for our active Belgian Malinois pity mix to go for boarding that knew how to fulfill the needs of our dog. We searched and searched and then a friend referred us to CDR and it has been a life saver we can go on vacation or even send her out for a day and know that she is well taken care of and that she has such a blast out there and always comes back tired. And we love checking the Instagram feed while she is out there to see her having a blast with all the other dogs and playing in the pool.

I am BEYOND satisfied with Dominic’s & Country Dog Ranch service. After needing a place for my Border Collie medium-sized 2-year-old dog to be taken care of. this has been by far the BEST experience that my puppy has had yet. The professionalism, constant communication & well-way responsive messages really did help and went a long way. Videos were sent throughout the stay and no worries about my sweet fur baby. I can’t wait for her stay again soon! I HIGHLY recommend this stay for your puppy! Thank you so very much. We are extremely happy! Ps. The pickup and drop off also goes such a long way! My puppy is now passed out sleeping after all fun activities she had.

Country Dog Ranch is the best! I know my dog always has a great time because he tries to run to every van that looks like the ones that CDR uses for pickup and drop-off. We have been using Country Dog Ranch for boarding for 3 years and recommend it to all our friends, who now send their dogs to CDR as well. Highly recommend!

The Country Dog Ranch is excellent. I take my dog there every time I have to travel for work or otherwise. I really trust them to take care of my dog Bryant. He always has so much fun there and the owner sends me videos of my dog on walks or in the pool. The owner (Dominique Dewitte) is excellent and very communicative and can arrange for pickups sometimes. Your dog will have a great time there!

My mini goldendoodle, Maisie, has been going here for about a year now, and I cannot say enough good things about this dog daycare. For $50 a day, the dogs are picked up from your home, taken to the daycare/camp for about 8 hours, and then returned back home in the evening. Maisie loves Dominick and his staff, and she always comes back happy and tired. The dogs have 6 acres to play, and there's a pool. Dominick has always been extremely communicative and very easy to work with. He never takes on more dogs than he and his team can comfortably control and handle, which is very appreciated. I recommend Country Dog Ranch to anyone looking for an affordable daycare for their dog,. Truly the best deal around.

Country Dog Ranch has been incredible with my dog Remy. He's reliable, responsive in a pinch, and my dog absolutely loves going to daycare with him. My dog went to Country Dog Ranch for years and she absolutely loved every time she went. She got plenty of outdoor time, lots of space to run around and Dominic was always very kind to her. You can tell he has a real love for dogs and his pack is lucky to have him. Highly recommend.

Best day care and overnight boarding facility for dogs ever! Dominique is very patient with my rowdy puppy and my elder dog, who needs special care. I trust him completely with both dogs, who have ultimate respect for him. Casey loves going to the ranch for the day, romping and playing with her canine friends, swimming in the pool, running off leash all day! The in-home overnight boarding, pickup and delivery service is fabulous and the online videos of the dogs' activities are great to watch. My pup always comes home at the end of the day tired and happy.

I've been working with Dominique since 2010 and he and his wife run the most wonderful service! He's been taking my dogs twice a week for exercise and socialization, and occasional overnight boarding when I have to go out of town. I will never board my dogs anywhere else given the choice. He is thoughtful and kind and I trust him completely. He also has so much experience with dogs and gives me much needed advice when I ask. I would (and do) recommend his services to everyone!

This place is an absolute blessing! My Australian Cattle Dog stays there regularly while I travel for work and she could not be happier. Dom is an amazing person and a true dog whisperer. He runs The Country Dog Ranch impeccably and it is a beautiful place with rolling hills and open space AND a swimming pool made just for dogs!! Dom is communicative and responsive and posts videos on Facebook so you can see your dog running around having an amazing time. Also, his pick up and drop off service is priceless. I don't know how I'd get by without Dom and his wonderful Country Dog Ranch!

Hands down the BEST Doggy Daycare in LA! We’ve been clients of The Club for over 12 years now. Before our beloved Girl Shilo (Great Pyrenees) crossed the rainbow bridge, The Club was her favorite Home Away From Home. Now our newest members of our family Sophie (Great Pyrenees) and her sister Frankie (PBGV) call The Club their favorite Home Away From Home! They start whining the moment we’re a block away, then as soon as I pull up their pawing their way out of the car. They get to burn off some energy and get much needed socialization with all the fury friends they’ve made at The Club! Paw-Fect !!!

This is the most amazing dog daycare in all of Los Angeles! The people who work here truly love dogs! My dog walks up to the door tail wagging and scratching to get in!! They post on Instagram during the day so you can see your dog having a great time. They always come out and tell you about your dog’s day. Can’t say enough about how much this makes me feel great about leaving my dog for the day while I am working.

I’ve been taking my dog to The Club since he was a puppy. 7 years. I can’t imagine our live without The Club. The staff is amazing, accommodating and very present. I always know that Bear is going to have a great time and he is always safe and well cared for. To my mind The Club is unparalleled!

My 8-month puppy is so happy each time after we leave her for a haircut at this place! She’s very energetic and might be challenging to handle, but people at chateau marmutt always handle her greatly and tell us she’s the sweetest ever (they also put a pink bow on her each time) - on the contrast, I’ve been to a more “luxury” grooming salons where they told us she is impossible to handle. Amazing experience and very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!

I got my dog groomed here last weekend. She got both an ear AND an eye infection. Had to take her to the vet and had a ton of medication prescribed and treatment required, costing me $600.... $600! So basically her haircut cost me $715. (Aside from that I had also told them I wanted her entire body cut SHORT. And when I picked her up it literally looked like they had forgotten about her head.) Not taking her here again, that’s for sure.

Doggie daycare Heaven run by consummate professionals and real dog people. Our 6 month old Doberman mix has the best time, and comes home happy (and tired!!)

Owner is friendly. The dogs in there look like they are enjoying themselves. Looks pretty clean which is a big deal for us. It was my dog's first time in a dog daycare, and when I came to pick him up, I felt bad because he looked like he was having the time of his life. He could not stop smiling for the next 20 minutes after we left. He was pretty tired when we got home which was great for me cause I too was tired and wanted a nap.

I have been in the pet business for over 13 years and having dogs I am super picky where we take our pups... The staff here is attentive, and our pup has a great time andour pup comes back tired and happy.

I called Chateau Marmutt to ask about grooming for my labradoodle puppy. I was very specific and asked if they had any experience with grooming this type of breed. After being reassured they groomed plenty of doodles, I dropped my puppy off for his first cut. What he received is completely unacceptable. It looks like someone went scissor happy on his ears and his coat is unevenly cut all through out, including the crown of his head. They shaved it completely even after I showed a photo of what I wanted. This cut was NOT done by a professional and I would not take him back nor recommend anyone with a doodle to get groomed here. They seem to run a lovely daycare for dogs so again, this is strictly on their grooming services. Disappointed to say the least and my puppy's coat looks awful.

Really nice staff - my dog loves going here. The place is a bit outdated but what the building lacks in looks they make up in care for the dogs. We have only used day care at this point. They separate the small and large dogs.

BY FAR the BEST doggie daycare, grooming, overnight home away from home on the planet. My dogs have been coming to Chateau Marmutt for over 10 years. The staff and the owner, Michelle, are the best of the best. I love my dogs more than anything in the world and I don't trust them to anywhere else but Chateau Marmutt. They have stayed there for daycare, for overnight and for a week at a time and it is always top notch. I can call the overnight staff at anytime to check on them and am always updated. I read a review where a girl said her dog got kennel cough and another pup got fleas, well do any of these doggie moms have children? My friend pays top dollar for a private school for her child and the child has come home with lice twice in the past year. Does that mean she writes a scathing review about the school? No it's called having a child. Some children get lice some dogs get fleas. My pups are on flea medication prescribed by their vets and yet sometimes they still get fleas because they are dogs & according to many vets fleas have become immune to many of the top flea medicines. Same goes for kennel cough really. Children go to school and get snotty noses and coughs all the time from other kids. Chateau Marmutt requires vaccinations of all their client pups but guess what kennel cough can still happen just like snotty noses with children. Is it heart wrenching to see your pup sick? Of course. But in my experience Michelle goes above and beyond what most doggie daycare owners do. I have called her many of times in a panic if one of my pups has gotten in to something or is acting strangely and she is so helpful and has saved me thousands of dollars in emergency vet visits. Chateau Marmutt is truly the best place to take your dogs. Trust me. I am obsessed with providing the best life for my pups, and I wouldn't go ANYWHERE else!!!!

My friend brought her dog in for daycare and her dog left injured. Did not receive a call and was not told, found out when he couldn't walk when picking up. They also don't know how to pick up Dachshund's properly which might be the cause of one of the injuries. YOU CAN'T PICK UP THESE DOGS LIKE BABIES BECAUSE OF THEIR SPINE. Vet had to extract plastic from his stomach and his spine is now herniated. Ended up with an injured dog and a $1400 vet bill. Update: the owner is incredibly kind and paid for the vet bill out of pocket. He was very understanding and sympathetic. This was definitely one of the employees faults and not his, still can’t give a good review because of what happened but he didn’t have to help us and he did which is really appreciated.

We've been taking our 3yr old dachshund to Stardogs for nearly a year now, but after our recent experiences, we've decided not to return. Initially, our dog would eagerly run towards Stardogs every time we arrived, but during the last two visits, he began shaking, tail between his legs, and resisting, clearly indicating he didn't want to go inside. This change in behavior suggests something may have happened during those visits, and recent reviews seem to echo similar concerns. During our first visit, we were impressed by their promises of a caring staff and regular updates on Instagram and in report cards. Unfortunately, the reality fell short. Stardogs largely ceased updating their social media, citing understaffing as an excuse. They consistently referred to our male dog as 'she' both in person and in written reports. Despite our request for a report card after each visit, we seldom received one, and when we did, it was evident they didn't know our dog well—claiming he was outgoing when he's actually an introvert. On our last visit, they claimed he had finished all his food, which was unusual since he typically eats in the evenings. When we got him home, he was starving and devoured a large meal. At his previous doggie daycare, he was noticeably overjoyed to be there, and the staff was equally elated to see him. In comparison, at Stardogs, it never quite seemed to be the case. Overall, our experience felt like a bait-and-switch. Without cameras to verify what happens during the day, we're compelled to find a new daycare where our dog feels genuinely excited to attend.

After just one hour of playing with other pups, my dog Biscuit came home so happy. The evaluation process was great; I got lots of useful information while they met Biscuit and me, and discussed his personality, and what would be best for him. Couldn't be happier that he is a member of the Clubhouse.

THANK YOU STARDOGS!!! Stardogs is the best!! We take our baby Boogie there 5 days a week for daycare while my husband and I are at work. Everyone that works at Stardogs is truly amazing!! Boogie loves his star dog fam and we are so happy with daycare 10/10 recommend! Also they do great grooming too which is super convenient!!

Love this place and the staff. They make both my dog and I feel so comfortable. Very clean and they are so attentive to each baby. Some days Rylie doesn’t even want to come home but when she does she always comes home so happy and smelling so good. You should also try the hydro bath. Such a great value and it takes away your dogs itchiness and keeps their fur so beautiful. Best daycare in the World. Love you guys and this place. Def worth having piece of mind that you’re dropping off your baby in a safe place.

In every way this is a very special and wonderful place to leave your small dog. It feels like a safe, loving family of talented and knowledgeable owners. Coco loves going and gets excited before we near the building. She can tell several blocks away that we are going to Star Dogs!! I cannot imagine taking my beloved Coco to any other daycare center. In fact we refer to it as going to Playcare!!

Stardogs is great! The people are wonderfully attentive, thorough, caring, and accommodating - the kind of people you can trust with your beloved dog. The facility is inviting and beautifully clean. Dogs are clearly happy and well cared for here. Also, the dental cleaning without anesthesia yields a superb result. Five stars!

Sincerely THE best doggy day care in LA. Couldn’t ask for a cleaner, nicer, and more perfect place for our fur baby. We’ve tried others and he just lights up only for stardogs. The staff is incredible and we appreciate them so much! There is no better place

Absolutely the best doggy day care in the entire world in my opinion. the level of love and care they have for the dogs is unparalleled. They truly look at the dogs as their own children and take care of them so well! they even instagram story throughout the day so you can keep an eye on your dog and see what they are up to! The space is so clean and kept so nicely! Our dog will only come here!!!

This place is great! Not too busy, seems like a lot of staff per pup. We bring our cavalier here for daycare and he’s always racing and pulling to get inside. Everyone is so sweet with him. We’re super happy with it so far and glad they are in the neighborhood.

Marc and Lori treat my pup with upmost love and care! She runs to the door excited every time we drop her off, and we get photo updates every single day. There are times when we bring her back home and we can tell she really misses them! I truly recommend this business to every dog (and cat!) owner, your pet will be in wonderful hand while you are away. (attached are examples of photo updates we get)

We love our dog and it’s always stressful to leave her behind when we need to go out of town, but Marc and Lori take such great care of her that we can rest easy while we’re away. Our anxious dog usually tries to run away from vets, groomers, and sitters- but she is excited to see Marc and Lori and happily runs to greet them when we drop her off. I couldn’t ask for a better attestation, I know she is in good hands.

Recommended!! ADAM IN Tarzana was doing such a great job with Humi our frenchie doggy daughter. We left her for 5 days, went out of town for a trip. He communicated with us during all the trip, photos, videos and updates. Thanks Adam
