All Around Hound is amazing! I travel frequently for work, and they always take great care of my two energetic dogs. The staff is incredibly patient and caring, especially since my two 90-pound pups can be reactive in some situations. They go above and beyond to ensure both my dogs and I feel safe and comfortable. I can’t recommend this place and its team enough!

My dogs love being a part of the All Around Hound family!! They always come home from daycare completely tuckered out - I love reading their report cards to see how they spent their day. The groomer at All Around Hound is fantastic! She is so patient with reactive dogs, and does an amazing job even if they’re squirmy. My doodles and schnauzer mix always come home looking fabulous and smelling great! Photo of them after grooming included for cute factor.

Peanut has been going to All Around Hound for daycare, boarding, grooming and training for almost four years. Everyone there is great with her and they are great with their human clients too. She usually drags me through the door when we arrive in the morning and has her ritual seat on the green bench for a treat when I pick her up. I never worry about her when I leave her with them and she always comes home happy. Their love for animals is obvious every day and in their work with Through Your Pets Eyes Rescue.

Absolutely LOVE the staff at All Around Hound!! They have become a second family for our miniature pinscher, Hugo. We have been bringing him there since he was 10 weeks old and he is now 1.5 yrs old. I would like to especially call out Paige, she has so much patience and love for all of the dogs that enter the facility, specifically working with Hugo; he is quite shy and reactive but she works wonders with him and he is always very excited to see her in the mornings. They are a fear-free, science-based training facility that also does daycare and boarding. We've had Hugo there for daycare as well as boarding and we will always continue to send him there. We also refer any friends or family members who have dogs and are looking for wonderful care. All Around Hound also sends photo updates and readily answers any questions that you may have regarding your pet or their services. Our family loves you All Around Hound.

Amazing!!! We stumbled on All Around Hound and could not be happier. Thor absolutely loves going to daycare. He goes 2 days a week and is mad at me on the days I do not take him. You can tell the staff totally enjoy what they do. They are so good with the pups and provide a lot of personal attention. Would not even hesitate to recommend them!! Think the look on his face says it all. Wanted to add to my previous review. Still five stars, super impressed with the care and attention the pups well being. Staff is amazing. Thor has now stayed in their VIP room, amazing!! A private room with all the amenities, personal toys, couches, radio , raised dog dishes, and special treats. Best part is they still get to be a part of the daycare, but can then retire to their private place!! Well worth the little bit extra, oh and of course extra snuggles from staff who are on site 24/7!! Check it out!!

All around hound is an amazing place with amazing staff. I found my sweet little baby Kiki there, after i took her home i kept bringing her there for daycare because she loved the staff so much and they clearly loved her. My pup holds a special place in her heart for the staff, especially Sam and Paige. Sam helped my little rescue baby grow into a beautiful confident little girl, who is no longer scared of people! Kelsey the owner of the place is amazing, even though its her business shes extremely interactive with the dogs and clients. Shes always playing with the dogs there or cuddling them, shes not the typical business owner. The place is well organized, my pup always comes home with everything i drop her off with, accept for treats of course! The growth this place has given my dog i will always be appreciative for, because of all around hound i have the perfect doggo.

We have been taking our whippet Sloane to AAH for almost a year now for half day daycare 3 times a week. We love the staff and how friendly they are at drop off and pick up! They have worked with her on crate training and isolation training throughout her days with lots of treats! She always comes home clean and sleepy from lots of snuggles and playtime. We love the daily report cards and pictures that shows who her playtime pals are! We also signed up to the beginner flyball course and loved it so much we are now part of the team which is a lot of fun!

I brought my golden retriever puppy for day training with Sam, and then began doing daycare as well and I could not be more thrilled with how my puppy is doing. Sam is incredible, knowledgeable & personable. She makes you feel so comfortable and hopeful! She has laid such an amazing foundation for our puppy and we are so happy. All of the staff that I’ve met at the front desk are beyond friendly & my puppy just adores them. There isn’t a single person at this facility that isn’t lovely!

My dog absolutely loves going to All Around Hound!! I first brought Caine in for training back in October 2023. Sam was so great with both Caine and I and the results were excellent! I signed Caine up for daycare to be sure he was well socialized. Again, the results have been excellent. He loves all people and dogs. It is truly worry free bringing him because they all treat him like part of their own family. He even gets cuddle time when he needs it. I have never felt comfortable leaving my dogs with anyone but with All Around Hound I would not hesitate to utilize any of their services or to leave him over night if I needed to. I can't thank All Around Hound enough, the peace of mind when bringing him there is truly priceless ❤️ 🐾

This place is stellar! They take photos of the dogs through the day, post them on social media, and send you a report card for the end of your dog’s visit! The report card shares their bathroom etiquette, who they played with, and has a short description of their day. Also boarding here was seemless! A tired dog falls asleep on the car ride home and he does so after every stay with All Around Hound. 10/10

I could not recommend paws pet pad enough. The REACTIVATE program has been life changing for us and our reactive (very large) dog. My husband and I normally have friends/family watch our dog when we go on vacation since he trusts very few people and is very difficult to manage (fear based reactive toward humans and dogs). We got married in Mexico last week and were there for 1 week. Since all our friends and family were in Mexico with us, we had to find a boarding service for our dog. We were very nervous about this but we started bringing him months in advance; 1-2 x monthly and he quickly became comfortable with various staff members. Their team is so knowledgeable and savvy with difficult dog behaviours and our dog has come out of this program more friendly and confident than ever. It’s not just boarding, Katie is the head trainer and she took time to build trust with our dog who is afraid of most people to ensure he had a comfortable experience. I’m not sure he even wanted to come home! Seriously a life changing program. We were sent a daily report card with photos and a description of his activities of the day which was so reassuring! He basically only has one dog friend who stayed there with him and them team ensured they had play time every day. Thank you Katie and the entire paws pet pad team for taking such good care of our Moose 😭

Paws Pet Pad exceeded all of our expectations!Trainers Michelle and Katie recently performed a temperament test on our litter of six purebred Golden Retriever puppies, and their expertise truly shone. Without any background information, they provided incredibly accurate assessments that helped us determine the best homes for each puppy. Their keen observations also identified a service dog candidate, confirming our instincts for a service dog placement. We have a 120lbs Rottweiler who is the sweetest boy but it’s been hard finding a daycare, our boy identifies as a small lapdog and doesn’t realize his size. At other daycares where he’s left in a big group he gets overstimulated. Here he gets some one on one time and engagement with friends. He loves coming here and literally starts vibrating when we drive down the street towards Paws Pet Pad. Michelle always give him the warmest welcome and he doesn’t even glance back when we drop him off. I’m not sure if his full schedule but whatever it is he sure sleeps when we get him home!

We left our dog at Paws Pet pad for four days and he absolutely loved it! The staff was friendly and took great care of him. He came home happy, clean and tired of the interactions! We also received a doggy daycare report card which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this place fora none looking for a caring and engaging environment for their dog.

This place and it's dedicated staff are god sent in our Dog's life! My Golden is extremely nervous and timid, especially around other dogs. She even got kicked out of a few doggie day cares because, well, she's too much work 😮‍💨!! These guys, on the other hand, are so calm and patient with her ❤️! Everyday, that she is here, they make sure they understand her needs first and then provide her with support that is helpful and useful for her and just in 4-5 visits, my dog is showing another level of confidence! I took her to a PetValue on a Sunday and it was brimming with other pets. My pup would have generally started to run out or would have started throwing tantrums but this time around, she ignored the other dogs and confidently made her way through them💫... My jaw hit the floor and my husband ran to check if this is actually our pooch, it was that shocking for us!! The best part about this place is they keep you involved in what plan they are following for your dog and their daily doggie report cards are something I find myself waiting for whenever my dog is in their care!! Overall, you can trust these guys with your fur baby and that is one line I never thought I would ever say about anyone for my 'Royal Cookooness' of a dog 🐶!! Thank you PPP team, you are making a huge difference in our pets' quality of life and by extension, in our lives as well!

Our boxer is 8 this year and has been coming here since he was 3. This is the only daycare here in Alberta that we trust to keep our fur-baby. They know his limits, how to keep him safe, and yet give him a good fun day. They don't put him in situations where he may get in trouble, but meet his socializing needs somehow because he comes home content and peaceful (vs restless and anxious from other daycares). He gets so excited when he realizes where he is going! As soon as he sees the workers/trainers, he never looks back. Gives us so much joy!

We love bringing our dog here for both daycare and boarding. They give daily report cards which is a nice way to keep tabs on your dog. They’re also very responsive and it’s easy to get in touch with them. Our dog doesn’t do well in big groups and they always keep an eye on him and separate him when necessary. Their trainer Katie is amazing as well and has helped us immensely with our dog’s reactivity issues. This is a great facility which I’d highly recommend!

Boarding our reactive dog Gunner has always been a daunting task, as many places shy away from the challenges it entails. However, discovering Paws Pet Pad on Google was a game-changer. We have a 10 month old puppy and she loves going to doggy day care during the week. The staff is amazing and we love the daily highlights that gives us photos and review on how her day is going. We always highly recommend this place to peers and anyone that is wondering where to take their dog for daycare or boarding.

Used the private dog park here one day and it was so awesome. Fully fenced safe space for my doggos to explore and sniff, and a great value! The owner Liz and her son are incredibly kind and helpful humans. Would recommend ☺️

Checked out the dog park today and wow! Did we have fun. Want to let your city dogs experience country life this is your place. So many smells and lots of room to run. Quick ride from Leduc, so definitely will be back.

They looked after the dogs and they survived. That’s the best I can say about them. We had asked for pictures and updates and they didn’t send anything. I gave them food and treats and I came back to an unopened bag of treats. The gentleman was rude to speak to and was annoyed that my dogs had done their business indoors (shock that a dog would do that in a place where other dogs have done it). Then they have the audacity to ask for $25 per dog for cleanup and accidents. No way does it cost that much to clean. Their home isn’t the cleanest and most tidy so how would that help. To these guys, it’s all about making money and doing the bare minimum. Would not recommend if you care for your dogs and need updates. If you just want them to survive while you are away, then this is for you.

This place is amazing. Liz was fantastic with our Pyrnees/Anatolian Sheppard cross that demands to only lives outside. Our dog is not an indoor dog which made it hard to find someone who would care for her and let her live outside the whole time and overnight. This worked out beyond perfect for our dog Lily and she didn't even want to come home at the end of her week there she loved it that much! Highly recommend It's a Dog House to anyone looking for a great home away from home for your pup especially any farm dogs. Thank you Liz!- Paige &Lily🐶

We take the dogs here as much as possible. It's a gem right off the highway with secure fencing, walking paths and privacy. Very clean and also has a very friendly lady who runs the place. Would highly recommend!

Great private dog park. We met with a bunch or our dogs siblings and families. 10 bucks for the first dog and 5 bucks for each dog afterwards. Book in advance and you get the place to yourself.

By far the best place I have ever taken my dogs. So glad we found Liz and It's a Dogs House. My dogs love going here!

I can't say enough about Brigitte, Barbara, and the whole team at Steel House! The environment they have created is so warm and welcoming, and they've been so kind to us and our pup, Tidbit, that I can't imagine leaving her anywhere else. The facility is fantastic, and when she is boarded we get regular pictures to keep us connected. I know it's a great place because Tidbit is just as excited to be dropped off as she is to be picked up!

Steel House Doggie Daycare is the best around - Poppi has been going to daycare since they first opened in 2019 and she loves it there. Bridgett and Barb are the best daycare masters! Poppi can't wait to go to daycare once a week and when I drop her off she is the happiest fur-babes for the day! Thank you Steel House Doggie Daycare for looking after our fur-babes as their own. Best doggy daycare. So much space for fun, socialization and exercise. A great group of littles. Bridget is the incredible. She loves our pups like they are her own.

I was initially hesitant to bring my two dogs to daycare strictly because they're both very nervous & required a bit more attention. But then I ran across a post on a group that I'm in recommending this daycare stating that the owner was very nice, she cared, she took time with your dogs & that it was only for small dogs. Well, it's been a few months since my dogs have attended this daycare, and I can't recommend this place enough. It's to the point where both my dogs are SO excited to go to daycare. They run in to greet Bridget and any of her other helpers. They're not so skiddish anymore. They have so much room to run around. They honestly love it there. To top it all off, to show their thanks (the daycares), they do the cutest little photoshoot of your dogs!

At the steel house They truly love all the dogs and it shows! My pup absolutely loves playing with her friends here and we are so thankful to have a fun safe place for Boo to socialize and burn some energy!!

Steel House Doggy Daycare is an amazing daycare. It has a large, spotless area inside and a huge yard for the puppies (all small breeds) to play, socialize and run around. Bridget and Barb love all the dogs like they are their own. Our Murphy cannot wait to get out of the car when we arrive. He is so happy when I say we are going to daycare. I highly recommend this doggy daycare. It's the best!!

We love this daycare! Truffles is very shy and hesitant around other dogs including her own size and coming to this daycare once a week has helped her get the socialization she needs. Bridget and Barb are amazing and are always easy to reach. We have done daycare and boarding with them and had amazing experiences!!! :) Bridget (owner) gave us amazing updates of Truffles during boarding which helped ease our worries for trying out boarding for the first time! Truffles loves coming here every week! :)

We chose Steel House Doggy Daycare to have a home away from home for our pup Beau. We never felt comfortable leaving him with anyone other than family, but Bridget and Barb are very attentive to every dog there. We know Beau is supervised at all times and he loves when he gets to spend the day there with all his furry buddies. He gets so excited when we get close to the Steel House, he can’t get in fast enough! The facility is spotless, they are immediately on top of any clean up duties! We used their boarding service as well when we went on vacation and we felt very comfortable doing so, Beau even gets to sleep in a bed which is just like home. This is the first and only doggy daycare we have used and we highly recommend it!

This is definitely the best doggy daycare out there. My dog is shy and gets nervous of new people/places. He warmed up to this daycare and Bridgette & Barb so quickly. Now he gets super excited anytime I drop him off. He loves them and all his doggy friends. I love how it’s a daycare for small dogs. They get so much space for them all and all the love!! Highly recommend.

Our Maltese puppy has been coming to the Steel House weekly for the past 6 months now. We simply cannot overstate how impressed we are with the people who own and operate this facility, as well as the facility itself. Our puppy absolutely loves coming here and has an incredible amount of fun all day long with the other dogs, which is evidenced by the fact that she sleeps all evening after being here. Brigette and Barb are amazing with all the dogs. We highly highly recommend the Steel House Doggy Daycare.

Amazing facility. The staff at cozy kitty are kind, reliable, and always take great care of my two kitties when I am away. I am grateful to have a trustworthy boarding facility to bring my cats to when I go on vacation. My cats always enjoy their stay and meeting new friends.

Really happy with this facility. I've worked in kennels before but our cat facilities were nothing compared to Cozy Kitty's. They have very large private kennels with cat furniture as well as a nice room with many cat condos for the cats to go roam around in. The staff are very attentive and it seems like our cat had a great time roaming around.

We have left our cat couple times here, the first time she was less than 6 months and second time was after a year. She was comfortable in the second time, the staff is very nice, they take care of pets and also you can enquire about them regularly from time to time. Always recommend to book in advance so you have a slot for your loved fur babies to be in safe hands. They also get an opportunity to make friends with other. The teams posts pictures of all guests (cute cats) on their IG profile and it's a relief when you see them.

I really adore this place! First time I’ve used it was when my husband and I had our honeymoon. It was really reassuring to see what they offer, and how the staff is very compassionate, accommodating and very understanding. From each staff member, and all the guest cats, there’s so much warm. I get really anxious when my cats are away, but I feel more at ease knowing the quality of professionalism and care there is. My biggest of thanks for caring for my cats as if they were your own.

Frisky had a really good stay here, amazing and loving staff for helping him settle in for a month. Even surprised us when we learnt that he made some new fur friends when he was supposedly a cat hater! Staff is great with updating us on him as well. We will choose this boarding place again on our next trip away :)

I boarded my cat, Pearl, for a week while I was travelling. The staff at Cozy Kitty Accommodations were very kind, respectful and gave updates on Pearl throughout the week. Pearl was anxious at first as it is a new environment but the staff kept a detailed chart of her daily eating/litter use. When she came home she was healthy and happy :) I would definitely trust to board Pearl here again!

I wish I could have commented better, but we dropped off a healthy cat and after 8 days we received a sick cat. Not sure what happens inside as because of "covid" we were not able to see the inside. I think the only important thing in this business is to keep cats healthy, and if that doesn't happen then it's a disaster for the business. The staff are very kind and helpful at the front desk. Anyway, we trusted google map rating, but I would never let my cat be in this place again or do not recommend it to friends and families. Cheers!

Not super thrilled. Even though according to their records she was eating okay, they introduced treats into her diet and there were 6 days of her stay where she ate nothing but treats, which caused problems when I finally got her home. The place was clean and she didn't seem overly traumatized when I got her home, so it wasn't all bad.

They took great care of my fur baby Dr. Melon. I will use them anytime I have to board my kitty. He was very happy when he got home.

I recently had my kitty Skittles in at cozy kitty and they were super amazing. They kept track of everything for her, and even sent pics and updates when asked. This was my first time leaving her for an extended time and I would definitely leave her with cozy kitty again. 😺 They even hand fed her after a couple of days of not eating fully.

Paula is one of a kind. I take my "dog in law" Kaiser here from time to time and he just loves the place. He's SO excited in the car when he recognizes where we are going and seem likes he doesn't really want to leave at the end of the day too. When he gets home, he plops down to sleep after a fun-packed day with his friends. There are staggered pick up and drop off times to avoid potential issues which can happen at those commercial places where everybody lines up. This place has a slightly different program compared to typical "dog daycares", but if it works you will be 100% satisfied. Paula is absolutely great to work with and is flexible and courteous. Just a great experience all around. BTW the photo Paula took here says it all I think. One happy customer I'd say! :-)

Paula really saved us when a family member last-minute cancelled on watching our dog while we were away. We reached out to Paula and she communicated her qualifications and her provided care. It was such a positive experience and our dog had so much fun! She kept us informed of our dogs ongoings and sent us pictures of him as well! We had so much peace of mind while we were away, knowing our dog was in good hands. I’m so happy we have found Paula!

Our Pepa is not an easy dog to take care of, she has quite a bit of demand and needs special care because of some events in the past that made her not trust other dogs and some humans. We tried many things on our long trips away from Edmonton (dog sitting in our house, in other people's houses, in boarding facilities, with family, etc) and there were always some things that didn't work great. This all changed once we met Paula two years ago, she knew how to get to Pepa, to know her, and give her what she needs. Lots of extra care, special treatment, careful love, and a constant search for getting closer to improve her stay. On top of that, Paula kept her communication with us while away quite active, answering quickly to our messages, asking questions, showing results, sending videos and photos of Pepa's improvement, etc. Pepa loves it there, two +30 days stay and no problems. Every time we leave we do it with peace in mind that our beloved god is in the best place possible, this is now her second home. We are extremely thankful for Paula's services, professionalism, and love for all the doggies at a senseful and competitive price. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough good things about Paula's Pawtastic Pet Care. On short notice Paula accommodated us to board my beautiful basset hound Luna for 2 weeks. Paula made the time to get to know Luna and ensure she was comfortable in her surroundings before boarding. Luna had the best time with Paula and her fur babies 💕 …

Paula has been amazing and very accommodating of our 3 dogs. We love that we can send them to board together and they still get the feeling of being in a home. All our dogs are characters and she has embraced all their idiosyncrasies! Thank you Paula!

My pups absolutely love going to Paula’s! They go there once a week for daycare and always come home tired. They have so much fun playing with all the other pups. She also watched them for two weeks while I was on vacation and I never had to worry about them, she provided frequent updates and was quick to reach out when there were questions or concerns. They slept for days after. I definitely recommend Paula! Super happy to have found her!

I highly recommend Paula for taking care of your pet! Our dog loves going to her house, and we love knowing that our dog is in great hands when we drop her off. Also, it's a bonus that our dog comes home tired from the walks that Paula takes her on, and from playing with the other dogs all day! I brought my dog to Sturgeon County Kennels after having evacuated due to wildfires in the Northwest Territories. The staff was so kind and understanding. They sent me updates on how my pup was doing and I know she had a good time. It was so great knowing my giant puppy would have other large dogs to play with. I appreciate everything they did for me and my dog during an extremely stressful time.

We have used them a few times with zero issues. Our dog got sick after pick up and the staff were very helpful answered any questions the owner Mark even paid the entire vet Bill no questions asked. This is a great Kennel and the customer service top notch. They all truly cared about my dog and the experience was great we will only use this kennel. Dog is doing well sickness was not caused by anything the kennel could control.

Stacey and her team performed the impossible. They went above and beyond to help us by caring for our dogs during a family emergency. I cannot thank her and her team enough looking after our pups and taking a huge strain off our family. We are deeply appreciative (and our dogs absolutely love staying there!).

This review is solely based on the visit unrelated to pet boarding but rather an event they were hosting for animal rescue that I volunteer for. From the start to finish their staff was extremely friendly towards us and our fosters. They provided everything that made a day very enjoyable from great environment, food, drinks, snacks... Based on this, if I had to choose a kennel for the pet, SCK would definitely be on the list of favorites.

They took an order from me after an upsetting visit to the local vet. They called, like they said they would, when the order was ready. They are easy to find as there is a large blue highways sign west of Bon Accord at the turnoff. Lots of parking area and it is easy to navigate to their office. As first time pet parents (and first time going away since getting our pup) it was a little nerve-wracking to leave our pup with strangers. But the staff here made us feel warm, welcome, and soothed our anxiety about leaving. Murphy absolutely loved his time here, and even slept all the way home. They're knowledgeable about animals and the toys they sell in their shop. We and Murphy will be back again in the future. Thank you for the amazing care you gave him.

I have never left my pets with anyone before and was very leery from stories I have heard. I did a walk through with Sue and my Buddy dog fell in love. Now if I have to leave town for a day or two or even a couple weeks, I get pictures and videos and updates on my boy as much as I want. Fantastic facility I would recommend to anyone.

We absolutely love Sturgeon County Kennels. Our dog Buck has so much fun. All the staff are so friendly, and you just know your dogs are getting so much care an attention. The facility is nice, clean and spacious. Seriously the only kennel we will ever use. Love you guys!

This a great kennel, run my very nice people! We had our two dogs stay there for two weeks and not only are their rates reasonable but the facility is clean and welcoming. We got a full report on the goings on with our dogs when we picked them up (our dogs argue a little lol) and they were given all the love and attention I would wish for them to have in my absence.

We have two young Shelties that needed care from Heidi for 4 days. This was somewhat an emergency considering the person that had agreed to do the job, cancelled 9 days before my wife’s flight to Vancouver. I have had 2 failed spinal surgeries and can’t get out of bed to let them out so scheduling Heidi for 3 visits a day was great. We had Heidi come over for a meet and greet to see how the dogs were with her and after half an hour they mellowed out and Heidi was able to get them close to her for interaction. You can tell Heidi is an excellent fit with any animals while we watched her interact delicately and getting down to their level to reduce any tension. She was so patient and loving towards them both and they got along famously. Seeing this went well so we had her come for another one on one visit to further the dogs familiarization with her. This too went flawlessly. Every visit was on time and very professional encouraging the dogs outside and back in. Heidi also cleaned any mess’s and catered to other needs. Heidi’s service is a 20 out of 10 going the extra distance other companies don’t. Heidi herself is very pleasant and knowledgeable about animals and will treat your fur babies as her own. We definitely would employ her services again. We were so happy with her service that we paid her more than what she was asking for a premium service and paid her for the time she offered as a free meet and greet as well as the second one. Heidi has been taking care of our cat for the past four years whenever we are away. She is completely reliable and very responsive, I often text to find out how things are at home and will always get a timely reply back. She is trustworthy and her rates are reasonable. I was stuck in a tough spot with my wife going into labor early and some minor complications and Heidi helped me out last minute for over a week coming to my house. I don’t trust too many people with my dog and she did a wonderful job especially to accommodate me and my dog loved her. And my dog is on a few different medications and she took care of that too. Great communication, she loves all animals and now I have someone dependable to watch my dog ! Thanks!

Recently left on a month vacation and had our cats watched by Heidi. Both are seniors and it was the first time I had left them alone with someone who wasn’t family and I was a little nervous as one of my kitties is very anxious and skittish. Needless to say, Heidi befriended, not one, but BOTH of my furbabies to my absolute shock. Heidi took care of my four cats while we were away for two weeks. Just before we left to catch our flight, one of my cats got outside and wouldn’t come back in. Upon my request, Heidi made an extra trip to make sure he came back in while we were away. Everything was great when we got home. Thanks Heidi!!

We have been using Happy at Home pet sitting for a few years and heard about the company through a neighbour that also used the services! Heidi is awesome! She is friendly, reliable, and truly cares about our two dogs and two cats. She comes by every week day to walk our large Cane Corso dog and makes sure our old dog goes outside as well! She has utilized our training tips and tools as we requested when walking our large dog and has even given us great suggestions! She always updates us on how the walks go as well!! Heidi also checks in on our cats when we are out of town and gives us updates. When she is on vacation or away she will do her best and have someone cover her. I would highly recommend her for all of your fur babies!!!!

Used Heidi at Happy at Home Pet Sitting for roughly 5 years before moving out of Sherwood Park. Amazing service! So good with our pets and some not-so-easy to walk Basset Hounds. Happy at home pet sitting was so integral to making our schedule work that it made the decision to move away so much more difficult as I don't know if we will be able to find someone so helpful and reliable. I am comfortable recommending Heidi to anybody I know! Also very reasonable pricing!

I’ve had Heidi roughly 5-6 times in the past 6 years to look after my cats when away. Whenever I’ve come home, they appeared very well taken care of and comfortable with no indiscretions apparent. Heidi has a very good vibe with animals, as I’ve witnessed my cats coming to greet her when we meet before hand.

Tracey is an amazing trainer and breeder, I first started training with Tracey 2 years ago and she helped me better my connection with my dog and helped us both gain confidence. I absolutely love Tracey’s approach to obedience. Recently I have received one of her amazing pups, I am super impressed everyday with his genetics and how Tracey started to raised him. We had a 10/10 reactive/aggressive dog when we first started training with Tracey. Now we are proud to say he is only 3/10 reactive and still improving! Without Traceys expert knowledge we could not control our dog. She gave us the tools we needed to save our dog and potentially other dogs lives!

This is going to be a long review, but it is necessary for people looking into hiring Tracy for Dog Training. I had a 90 Lbs. Large Bernedoodle dog (Arlo) who was super reactive to dogs, bikes, trucks, skate boards, people walking, basically anything moving in sight. Couple months ago during a morning walk with my dog, disappointed with Arlo’s situation, I saw a man walking a large doodle off leash next to him like a champ on a sidewalk next to busy 66 street. I approached him and asked how his dog is like this and he responded “there is a lady in Nisku who owns German Shepard and is a dog trainer – call her”, and that’s how I found out about Tracy. Fast forward to today, people on walks complement me on how well behaved Arlo is and ask me- how do I train him to be like this. We are still long ways from perfect but I know we are on the right track. In summary, Tracy taught me that loving your dog and doing the right thing for your dog are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS and when that clicked to me, my relationship with Arlo reached a whole new level. Majority of other dog trainers and training centers wanted me to take private classes for Arlo’s reactivity and charged a fortune for just 3 or 5 sessions and on the other side Tracy offered us Obedience Level 1 group classes. But now I feel Obedience is just a by-product of the relationship building she teaches, resulting in a dog trusting you around triggers and uncertain situations in the real world. IMO, she needs to market herself more and more on social media as there are so many dogs and their owners who can benefit from her, at least from what I see around on walks. But then, the dogs she trains are a live advertisements walking around in neighborhoods marketing her expertise. Here is what to expect if you are thinking of getting your dog trained under Tracy’s supervision: 1. A wealth of knowledge from a veteran in the dog training business without breaking your bank. 2. Straight forward feedback to the owner; not beating around the bush 3. Owner getting educated and held accountable for what is the right thing to do for the dog; from the dogs perspective 4. Constant feedback on the homework you do throughout the week (I send her video clips and get feedback so I don’t wait for the whole week if I am doing something wrong) 5. LASTLY: dog owner gets trained to understand their dog’s psychology which opens up endless possibilities for you and your dog If you LOVE your dog, TRAIN your dog.

We did the board and train with Tracey. This was easily one of the best decisions we have made for our family. Tracey is extremely knowledgeable, kind, an AMAZING teacher and you can truly tell she knows exactly what she’s talking about and teaching. The progress she made with our puppy in two weeks was absolutely astonishing. I truly recommend Tracey. I truly cannot say enough good things about her! Tracey was awesome about updating us daily and the progress she was making. We truly want to thank her for her amazing expertise!

I cannot say enough good things about Tracey and her dog training classes. We just completed her level one 8-wk obedience training. It has truly changed my life and my dog's life. My dog had countless issues with fear, anxiety, not listening.... on and on. Now, she is much more relaxed, she listens, does what she's told. Gesh! 100% improved!! Plus, the classes were so affordable and the homework only took 10 minutes a day. I'm so very thankful!!

Tracey is 100% the best trainer I’ve ever had. We started working with Tracey in November 2022 when we adopted a 3.5 year old Anatolian Shepherd named Maggie. Tracey gave us simple things to work on with Maggie to gain her trust and get her comfortable with us. In the Spring of 2023 we signed up for Level 1 Obedience and Maggie wasn’t too sure about the whole training thing. Tracey worked with us to figure her out and what as challenging her - we passed level 1! In August 2023 we signed up for level 2 and this was a challenge for both of us but Tracey got us through and we passed! Thank you Tracey!

We first brought our 8month old Rottweiler pup “Minnie” to Tracey’s level 1 obedience class after being recommended multiple times from our community Facebook page. We were first time rottie owners and had a lot to learn. Minnie was high energy, she would pull and jump all over people with excitement and couldn’t contain herself when around other dogs. She needed to learn basic obedience and manners. Tracy was so personable and knowledgeable and worked her magic with Minnie. You could tell how much she loved animals and treated each dog like her own. She was also hilarious and makes you feel so comfortable in the classes. By the end of the 8 weeks Minnie had already learned so much that we booked tracey again for a 2 week board and train. Tracey sent us daily texts and and video updates on her progress and after the two weeks Minnie was a completely different dog. I cannot say enough good things about Tracey and I’m pretty sure Minnie would choose to go home with her if she had the chance. We can’t wait to continue Minnie’s training with Tracken Kennels

This is the first time we had our puppy groomed. The lady did a FABULOUS job. She was very informative, this is our first dog. I recomend this groomer.

Sarah did a fantastic job watching our 2 cats. Not only did she care for them, she sent us regular updates and pictures and took special care of our home. We will definitely ask her to watch our cats in the future!

We have been using Sarah for the past several years and appreciate her services. Sarah takes care of our cats 4-5 times per year, we have multiples so it is very important that the litter boxes are cleaned daily as well as our cats being super social it is nice to know that individual time is spent with them. The extra things like checking our furnace and being able to shovel the driveway is always appreciated. We had an older cat that needed daily pills and with Sarah that was always done. Have referred her to several people - excellent service.

I have known Sara from when she started this business and have been a long-time client. The first two cats I had were both diabetic and she was reliable in coming twice a day to give their insulin. When I got my current fur babies, Sara was the first person I thought of to sit and care for them when I was going to be away. She provides thorough service, and will call or text before each booking to clarify kitties' needs, dates, and if there are any new considerations she needs to be aware of. In addition for feeding, watering, and cleaning litter, Sara plays with them and it didn't take any time at all for them to warm up to her and look forward to her daily visits. Sarah looked after our diabetic cat for us several times. Our cat required two injections daily, but the dosage could vary slightly as he was newly diagnosed and management of his care was fluctuating. I was very confident leaving him in her care because she had experience giving insulin and was knowledgeable about the disease. But more than that, if she didn’t know something she would ask. I never worried that she would make a decision about his insulin dosage independently without checking with us first, so I completely trusted her with his care. She reported everything to us while we were away, and the updates were reassuring. His litter was always properly cleaned, and I know she spent some time with him rather than hurrying out the door.

Sarah’s care is so attentive and caring. Our cat was smitten with her at first contact so you know she has that aura that animals tap into. We felt very comfortable and confident while on vacation that all was well. Sarah sent photos and updates and the fact that she has pet first aide in her skill set helped us to enjoy our vacation worry free. I love the professionalism Sarah presents and the very clear contracts she presents. The extras are great too (garbage pick up, mail, lights off and on, water plants). Sarah will be our go to. Kitties at home has provided me with the best service one could hope for. I have used their services the past 8 years I have been living in Sherwood Park with no issues at any time ever. The price is fair and the service is excellent. You can really tell Sarah (the owner) loves animals treats them with the utmost care and respect. For example, Sarah takes care to have your pet's veterinary info on hand in case of emergency. In addition, she will keep coming to your house until you specifically tell her you are home so that you know your pet will be taken care of even if you have unexpected travel delays and are unable to make contact.

Very professional and reliable. Immediately upon meeting Sarah I felt very comfortable with her checking in on my cat while I was away. In total, I was away for three weeks. Sarah kept me up to date on how my cat was doing, and sent pictures as requested. I've already scheduled her again for my next vacation. I would highly recommend!
