I’ve worked in the pet care industry for 6 years, so I know firsthand how important, yet difficult, it is to find trustworthy and caring people to take care of your animals. I found Erica and Chaz through a colleague when I was looking for a dog walker as my job got busier and it became more difficult for me to take my dog, Peaches, out in the middle of the day. They are the kindest and most caring human beings with her and have put up with her quirks so well and I would simply not trust anyone else, besides my parents, to take care of her. I adore both Chaz and Erica and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog walker, pet sitter or trainer!

I have had nothing but good experiences with staff of Bark at the Moon. They are always dependable and reliable, and have been very accommodating to changes in my schedule when they happen. Most importantly, they love my dogs as much as we do, so I know that they are receiving the absolute best care. A recent added bonus has been the “field trips” several times a week that has really helped my dog with her anxiety. I am so happy that I found Bark at the Moon to help care for my fur babies.

We love bark at the moon! We have a feisty puppy and Erica really is so patient and understanding with it all. We are so grateful to have her be available to us when we are out working all day to give our pup his much needed mid day lunch and walk. Cannot recommend their services enough; we would never be able to do this alone with their help. She always send us photos and updates via text about how he’s doing when she’s there, and I trust her wholeheartedly with our pup.

Bark at the Moon walked and fed Lily when I was out of town for a few days. They were incredibly kind and professional, and Lily appreciated their punctuality as well. They even gave me some tips on how to associate seeing other dogs with treat time. I couldn’t recommend anyone better.

I contacted Bark at the Moon late last winter, when I needed advice before adopting a sweet and snuggly but “difficult” dog. I had never met Erica before, but her experience with the Victoria Stilwell Academy gave me confidence that I could trust her input. During our phone call, Erica's insightfulness and realistic perspective about our situation furthered my confidence. She said she’d be happy to work with us if I decided that adopting this dog was the right decision for me. It was, and he and I have been happily working with her since then! Erica is personable, understanding, and genuinely cares about her clients and their needs. The more I talk to and work with her, the more I respect her insights and knowledge about dog training and behavior. She always asks questions about my dog and his habits, to be sure we’re working to treat the causes, not the symptoms. Erica taught us positive reinforcement-based tactics that work for his specific needs (and mine!). She also gave me pointers on things I’d already been working on, which turned out to be the keys to getting consistent responses from my guy. All of the things we’ve worked on have fed into one another, and I’m even seeing positive changes in certain behaviors that we haven’t addressed directly. To me, that’s a huge testament to her methods. It’s been a lot of work and there’s still more ahead, but we’ve made SO much progress in a pretty short amount of time. We definitely wouldn’t be where we are now without Erica’s help. Thank you, Erica!!

Erica takes care of my two cats, Kodak and Leica, when I'm out traveling. I never have to worry if they're being well cared for. She'll reach out with pictures and updates of how they're doing. I don't know a single other person that I'd feel more comfortable leaving my cats with than her. Bark at the Moon is the best and I'd be lost without Erica!

I recently rescued a puppy, Sadie, who had a rough start to her life. She was an incredibly fearful puppy and I was unable to comfortably groom her, get a collar on her or share a couch with her without fear of being growled at or snapped. Unfortunately, I tried a different trainer previous to Erica who actually recommended that I return my dog. I was feeling very lost and discouraged, but didn’t want to give up on Sadie. That’s when I found Erica and everything changed. Erica listened to my concerns and taught me positive reinforcement training techniques, which really helped to earn Sadie’s trust and reduce her fears. Sadie has blossomed into an incredibly happy, energetic puppy and I feel confident in the skills that Erica has taught me to apply them to future problems that may arise. I would recommend Erica from Bark at the Moon to anyone considering dog training.

Erica and her husband run an amazing company, I've had her care for my babies(dogs) for awhile now and have been very happy with her services. Both dogs have taken to them super fast which to me is a great sign, they are pet-loving, spoiling and compassionate about what they do. I highly recommend them if you want to feel comfortable and at ease when leaving you babies!

My senior dog, Morty, is medically fragile and completely deaf. The care provided by Erica and Bark at the Moon is unparalleled. I know my dog is in competent, compassionate hands with this excellent company - they have my utmost trust. His medications and foods are dispensed perfectly and communication with Erica is always clear. She is extremely precise with care instructions and I feel confident that everything is handled down to the tiniest detail. His deafness means he startles easily and cannot use verbal commands, but Bark at the Moon is so gentle and patient that he is always at ease with them. He had an unexpected surgery recently and the care provided by Erica while he was recovering was nothing short of exceptional. She made sure he was comfortable as possible and took him on short little walk in his cone. They have my profound gratitude for helping our most beloved family member when he needed it most. If you are looking for pet care, you've found it. Bark at the Moon is the best there is.

Bark at the Moon is the absolute best! Erica and Otis have a special bond and he looks forward to her weekly visits, he never shuts up about her. Every single aspect of dealing with this company is a treat. Incredibly professional interactions but also fun, the most qualified and caring individuals. We wouldn’t trust our little dude with anyone else. This is a glowing infinite recommendation for others to use this company for their pets.

I can not say enough good things about Beth and the care that she gives to my 2 fur-babies! She has been walking and pet sitting for my dogs for the last 2 years. I work long, and sometimes unpredictable, hours at the Hospital. Beth has always come through when I've asked her to walk my dogs, even on short notice when I get stuck at the hospital with a late case. She is reliable, punctual, and very caring towards my dogs. She is also very knowledgable - when I adopted both of my dogs, she knew just how to approach each of them to gain their trust, and has picked up on when one of them was developing an ear infection and suggested I bring him to the Vet. She knows her stuff! I recommend her to everyone I know!

I have used Beth and Home But Not Alone Pet Care for over 20 years. During that time, Beth has taken care of our cats and dog for extended vacations, sporadic, evenings, or days away, sailing weekends, and in the past year on a full-time basis, because of surgery that left me unable to care for my pets. She is incredibly reliable, knowledgeable about animals, and very caring and loving. After all these years, we consider her a member of our family. She also takes care of my son’s dog, and upon my recommendation, various friends’ pets. Everyone says the same thing. Home But Not Alone is the best care you can give your pet.

Beth took great care of our two cats when we were away. The cats are sometimes skittish, but she brought out the best in both of them. During our vacation, Beth took care of our cats and our house, keeping an eye on our newspapers and making sure the lights went on. We were also happy that if anything happened, she knows our vet's office and would contact them if needed. We will definitely use their services again!

Not many pet sitters are veterinarian recommended. I was fortunate to find Home But Not Alone. My cat was diagnosed with hip dysplasia & warrants special care. I also have a snake which is almost impossible to find someone willing to care for him. Beth scheduled a meet & greet appointment. She took great lengths to understand my pet needs. I highly recommend this company.

If it wasn’t for Drew at Born to Wag I wouldn’t be able to travel. I have 3 sweet but unruly dogs. Drew manages to walk all 3 of them together, which they love. They absolutely adore Drew and I have complete confidence that he’ll always be responsible and loving with them. He sends pictures and my dogs are always happy, which allows me to relax and not stress about them. Great guy, recommend highly.

Drew and the Born 2 Wag team are the best! They have been caring for my dog(s) for over four years. Five stars is not nearly enough. When my 16 year old Golden started failing they were so patient and loving with him. I can't thank them enough. The folks at Born to Wag are outstanding!! We have a rescue pup with special needs and Drew and Matt have been compassionate and kind with him. Our guy loves going for walks with Matt every weekday and sometimes on the weekends. They are extremely flexible if we need to change the schedule, they give our dog lots of love and hang out and play with him. Drew and his team at born 2 wag always provide the best care to our dog when we go away. Very reliable, checks in with us every time he arrives and leaves our home, flexible schedule as well as providing care to other pets …(our 3 ducks). Drew, Kathy and Paulette have been walking my pup for a few months now and I’m very happy with their services. My dog is very wary of strangers but he immediately warmed up to them. Kathy is our primary walker and she’s reliable, kind and wonderful with my pup. I highly recommend them.
