Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Another amazing sit by Anna and her lovely family - our cocker spaniel Holly has had the best fortnight with these guys with lots of adventures and endless amounts of love and attention! Highly recommend as 5-star house and pet sitters - thank you Anna - hope to see you again!
Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.
Samantha and Scott are great sitters and we enjoyed hearing from them a couple of times while we were away. Our pets were very relaxed and happy too! Very happy to recommend them.
Caitlyn, KJ, and their pup Sully were excellent house guests and pet sitters, and we would highly recommend them! I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. Don't hesitate to book this family of three, your house and your pets will be well-looked after!
Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.
Not only did our pets enjoy meeting Kelly and Christopher, my husband and I enjoyed meeting them as well! They are personable and kind, organized and communicative, and most of all excellent pet sitters. Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters. They went out of their way to connect with our dogs, especially Smitty, our rescue. The dogs were walked, brushed, and played with throughout the weeklong sit. They sent pics of how our fur babies were doing and truly seemed to enjoy their time with them. The peace of mind that comes with great house sitters who care for your precious pups and the home you love is priceless. Thank you once again, Kelly and Christopher! We hope to see you again!
I have had 4 pet sitters this year so far. And Liz was the best! She was wonderful with cats. She has an easy going manner and is very comfortable to be around. Very smart and she is a great communicator. She followed all directions and left the house spotless. I highly, highly, highly recommend her! I would have her again anytime!
Mikala & Jake were great house & pet sitters for us!! Our dog and two cats absolutely adored them, and we came back to a very clean home with happy animals :) They were very reliable and fast communicators. They even had to deal with our power going out while we were away, and they handled it well. It eased our minds to know our animals and house were in such great care while we were away and would have them sit for us anytime!
SHELLEY IS AMAZING!!! Truly- I don't know what I could have possibly done to deserve the care Shelley and her daughter Jen gave to our pets and our home. They faced truly abysmal weather here in New Orleans and could have re-routed their whole trip to find better weather, but they kept their commitment to us. The house was sparkling and neat as a pin when we returned. Our very own network of spies (i.e.- the friends at the dog park where Shelley kept our daily 7:00 AM appointment) said that they were the best sitters we have ever had. Our skiddish Labradoodle and lazy beagle loved them at first sight. If you have a chance to have Shelley house sit for you then count yourself lucky because she is a treasure. Like Mary Poppins for pets. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

They love dogs! Good play area. Great staff. Grooming services are great! Pic of our daughter after grooming and having a play day.
Disappointed is an understatement. We are extremely disappointed with our latest experience with Diggs for Dogs! We have been using Diggs for Dogs for about a year now and had no issues until our latest trip. This was our second time boarding our Great Dane at Diggs for Dogs. Upon picking him up from an 8 day stay, we noticed that he was extremely thin. We asked about his appearance as the amount of weight loss was extremely concerning. The answers that we received were “He’s been exercising a lot because he’s been playing hard” and “He kept pushing his dog food out of his bowl”. Instead of creating a scene we decided to leave. It is important to note that we did not receive one phone call from staff throughout the entire stay. Regardless of what happened, the weight loss was noticeable and should have been addressed. This is incredibly concerning as the whole idea was for our Great Dane to receive care while we were away which I feel that he didn’t get. Sure, I believe he had playtime, but I don’t believe that he received his normal daily nutritional needs which is clear by the pictures. He appeared super dehydrated and hungry. We took our Great Dane to our local pet store and bought over $100 worth of food and treats. Upon returning home, our Great Dane ate as much as we would feed him as he acted like he hadn’t eaten. I took the entire following week off to ensure his full recovery. He was lethargic and appeared weak when he would walk or get up from our bed/couch. I also took our Great Dane to our local vet to get him weighed and checked out considering the weight loss concern. He lost a concerning amount of weight for the amount of time that we were gone. After a full week of recovery he started acting like himself luckily. We will not be using Diggs for Dogs again, even for daycare as we are extremely disappointed with our latest experience and really feel traumatized in regards to boarders. The amount of mental stress that this event caused is not worth it, so, respectfully, we will not be using their services in the future. We hope that they figure out the issue and determine a course of action to prevent this from happening to the next family.
Diggs is the most awesome place! My furbabies love it there! They're always excited and run around like crazy when we take them off their leashes & they get ready to go to their den! The staff is so friendly & you can tell they love all their babies!
Our dog, Piper, has been going to Digg’s for Dogs for daycare and boarding a little over 3 years now. He absolutely LOVES going for his weekly daycare visits, If we say the word “daycare” he sprints to the door ready to go. I can not say enough good things about how friendly, caring and professional their entire staff is. They have always treated Piper as if he was their own and accommodated us on multiple occasions with various requests. We highly recommend Digg’s for Dogs!
We have been going to Diggs for Dogs since 2014! We do boarding and daycare. We started with one dog in 2014 and our family is now 4 dogs deep that visit regularly...almost every month, or more The staff is awesome and the pups always have a great time and come home tired. We send all their food, medicines, beds and blankets and toys. We have special needs pups and they always get their meds. We are informed of any issues right away. I highly recommend Diggs. They clearly love the pups and quickly respond to any emails that I send to request boarding/daycare or pup-dates during their stays. They do not answer the phone when with the pups or when working with clients in the office and we really appreciate that! They have been an essential part of our live for the last 9 years and we still take them all the way to High Point, even though we moved away from the area. Our crew gets so exited when we get to the gravel driveway. I can't imagine taking them anywhere else. Also, the grooming is exceptional! We don't know what we would do without them!
These folks boarded our 3 dogs for the third or fourth time in the past year. The grooming service is exceptional. It's a little pricey for services but if you pamper your pets this place is home.
Our pup LOVES (like jump on the door to go in!) Diggs for Dogs! Their staff, led by their fearless leader Courtney (YOU ROCK!) spoils him rotten & knows their canine guests well. Courtney has built an incredible team of compassionate people who are extremely accommodating & shower these pups with love. ❤️ DFD has our highest recommendation for Doggie Day Care & Boarding Kennel needs, and has been our “go-to” for both planned & unexpected boarding needs.
Not only is Lauren fantastic with grooming, the staff is wonderful with our puppy, Miss Penny, during her day visits!!
I took my toy poodle puppy for his first visit to the groomer, and I could tell he was loved and we'll taken care of during his visit. And, he looked amazing!
I am changing my review below...our first experience (Dec 22) was very good. Boarded our Jack Russell over 7/4/23 and he came home very sick (he clearly didn't eat and we should have received a phone call, I left two messages that went unanswered) and has all the symptoms of untreated heat stroke. After a $500 vet bill, I'm still not sure he's going to survive. Amazing experience! After searching and using several other boarding places, we have finally found the best!! Our dogs seemed to love it there...I don't think they wanted to leave. Highly recommend!
Took my pups to swim for the first time and they loved it! A great spot with a pool (clean water that you don’t have to worry about bacteria in) that’s fenced in. Super private and safe. The front desk staff was amazing and very friendly. If your dog loves to swim this is the place to go. I’ve already referred a couple of people there.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR SANITY OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE! Well, if you want your pet neglected then you should definitely take them here!!!! To call this place a “dog care” facility is so far off, it’s insane! If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would! My dog stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and came home looking and smelling like she hadn’t had a bath in months! Not only that, but we were told 3 separate times that she would receive a bath before coming home, but instead came home covered in dried dog feces! Not a single update or record of how she did, until I had to come back in and ask for it myself! The cherry on top was the manager arguing with us when we came back, that we never let them know we wanted our dog bathed, which seems like it was just an excuse to not hold themselves accountable!
Love the ladies here! Our new Pup Tank seems to like it for sure! Thor & Nala, our Mastiffs were lost over the last 1 1/2 years. They used to come here and they were always excited to see the girls here! Great Facility!
Amazing place. Great owner and staff. They’ve taken care of my hyper boxer and friends dogs both for doggy day care and overnight boarding. My dog loves this place. They also have great dog training.
My pup always has a great time at daycare and comes home absolutely exhausted! His overnight stays have been wonderful as well. My favorite thing is that they take pictures of the dogs throughout the day and post them on Facebook so you can always see how much fun they are having. I definitely recommend the Bark Lodge for daycare and boarding, your dog will be begging to come back!
Bark Lodge was very accommodating when I needed boarding for my dog Benny before the Christmas Holiday. The staff is very friendly and I felt very secure leaving my dog there. I loved how they update their facebook everyday with pictures of the dogs while they are there. It was fun to check in on him while I was gone.
I brought my puppy Kazi for his first day of doggy daycare and he was welcomed with opened arms. The staff were friendly and inviting. He was so happy when I picked him up and fell right to sleep when we got home! He was definitely wore out!
HORRIBLE place, i’m keeping my dogs name anonymous so they won’t make up some lie, this place abuses their animals, at least the owners lets it happen. dog daycares are for people who love dogs and know what they SIGN up for. all these trashy teens in the area who work here have no experience, they don’t know how to treat animals. The owner needs to take responsibility for its horrible employees actions, you need more cameras, at this point your just covering it up, don’t take your dog here, they need to go out of business. try treating animals with respect.
They post pictures all day on their Facebook page and give you a report at the end of the day to let you know how your dog did. I was so happy at how tired my puppy was because I assume that meant she played all day. You can't really beat the price either. To those of you considering this place, the first day is FREE. You have nothing to lose to try this place out.
Bark lodge is the best place to take your dog for a day of play and over night stays. They do a great job of grooming too!
Really happy to have found this place, and I really love the way they do things. They require you to bring your dog for at least a few hours of doggy daycare before you are allowed to board, to make sure your dog will get along with others. Rather than trapping my dog in a kennel of solitude for the holidays, she was able to be around others and had constant access to the outdoors (her preferred place to be.) The rates were very reasonable! Thanks for taking great care of Beans! 💚
Our dog loves coming here for daycare. It's her version of Disneyland. She always comes home tired and with a huge smile. We are also always very happy with their grooming and boarding services. This is Piper's home away from home, and basically the only people we trust to care for her (aside from her vet). We've never seen any fleas on her any time she has gone (which is at least once a week), and their rates are extremely reasonable. We love this place!
I've been boarding dogs at CAC for years, and always been thrilled with that aspect of the business. Last month we dropped our new puppy Finn off for the 10-day training boot camp. We picked up a completely different dog! (and of course I mean in temperament, not actually a different dog unless that's how Genna pulled off the amazing change...) Finn was getting unruly and testing boundaries and just "being a teenager". Genna worked with him patiently and now he listens, follows directions, plays nicer and our home is much calmer as a result. We cannot express how much this training has changed our relationship with Finn. Highly recommend the training, worth every penny! And Genna has given us some tips via email after the fact and been very responsive. Did I mention we are thrilled?
A first time for them to see our 2 older dogs... perfect haircuts and happy pups. We'll be going back!
If you love your animals, do NOT take them here. The owner is not just rude, he's abusive both verbally & physically. If he treats customers the way he treated me, then I hate to think what he would do to an animal if they made him angry. Note: I'm local & I don't have pit bulls. All my dogs are sweethearts- Never had complaints before nor since. A statement is only defamatory if it isn't true. 2nd Note: We took our dogs to another groomer & she said their ears had not been cleaned in a long time, they were so bad we had to take 1 to vet. The groomer here had not been cleaning them! When new groomer found out we had been coming here, she also said how awful this owner is. He called them up & spouted obscenities. If I publish my name Cantara; then I would have no choice but to file charges of assault on a female & get a restraining order like the deputy advised, which I still might. BRING It!!
I just googled this facility so I could click to call the phone number off of google as I always do. I am appalled by the reviews that I am seeing and felt compelled to leave my honest unsolicited factual self experience here. We were introduced to this facility 2 1/2 years ago. We have had nothing but excellent service for every interaction with them. We have used their facility for monthly grooming, regular doggy daycare and a couple of times for boarding. Our dog LEAPS and BOUNDS to the door. He cannot wait to get inside and see what friends are there. When we pick him up he is very happy, exercised, and ready for his bed. I have other discerning friends who also are very happy with the service they’ve received over a long period of time, from air canine/bark and fly. We, the community around this facility, are very happy with the care and service received from this facility. Folks from out of town, those with breeds who they KNOW have insurance liability issues, I am sorry that you have left reviews because you do not represent the populous of this area. My brother has a golden retriever and was willing to drive 45 minutes to bring his dog but because he isn’t neutered they wouldn’t let his dog play with the others. These RULES and the fact that they will turn away business to uphold their standards is what makes this facility so amazing! .
Over 2 years from my previous review they have gotten even better. The attention to our children is impeccable the trainer adjusts her style to the animal. The staff is fabulous staff, caring, friendly and attentive. Our now 2 Standard poodles get excited upon approaching. They are well taken care of as is our Siamese when boarding. By far the the best experiences children over the lady? 16 yeard
The owner’s replies to reviews says enough for itself. My dog is a pitbull mix and plays amazing with other dogs and has been boarded at other facilities. They always say he is the best boy. Sad that the owner would rather turn down business than work with certain breeds. Clearly they can’t care about dogs that much.
This is by far the best place to take your dog! I was extremely picky when it came to choosing the right place for my golden retriever puppy and they have far exceeded my expectations. Their grooming services are top notch and she absolutely loves going to play with her friends. She comes home tired and happy! Thank you for loving my sweet Rosie girl! You guys are the best!
Please do not take your dogs to this place. I took a tour of this place a little over a week ago. I told them about my dog and when I would need to board her. I also called yesterday to confirm everything would be okay to drop my dog off and the employee on the phone said everything would be fine. My son arrived there today to drop her off and was welcomed with a rude owner. My dog is a pit bull/boxer mix that would not hurt a fly. They would not take her just because of what type of dog she is. I was never told that they did not take pit bulls when I took the tour. I know that I told the employee that gave us the tour what type of dog she was and she never said anything about not being able to take her. The owner was rude to my son who was dropping her off for me telling him he was crazy for trying to drop off a pit bull there. My dog is the most friendly dog a person could meet and loves other dogs. She has been raised with3 small children and a cat. She has also been to another kennel for boarding with no issues.
Our two doxies stayed here this past week as we were out of town. We called a few times to check in and every time the staff was super friendly and offered information on how each of our boys were doing. We really appreciated that and we could tell they cared very much for the animals in their care. We take a trip yearly in Aug that unfortunately doesn’t allow pets and this was our first year boarding at Legacy and it’s the first of many more to come. Thank yall for taking such good care of our boys! God bless y’all! :) -Walter & Giuseppe’s mom :)
Really nice staff but for DAY CARE, this is definitely not the place to go. I noticed that they hardly have any daycare pets at all and now I know why. We have used them 3 times and every time when we picked our pet up he had a stinch odor that is very hard to get rid of washing him several times. Last for days. The staff there says it was just a wet dog smell because he played in his water bowl. Nice try, but that would not make his feet black half way up his legs. Not just a one time thing neither, I have definitely learned my lesson. It seems they cater to long term care and for bigger pets where lot of owners do not care about odors. One time the lady had to bring out a towel and dry him off before we could take him. Ironically, he does not do such a thing here at home, he is strictly and inside pet. We are done with them!!
Wonderful place…they always find an opening when we need to. They love their guests and take great care of our pets each time.
We love boarding our dogs at Legacy! The staff is incredibly sweet and truly take great care of the dogs in their care. They acted quick and responsibly when our dog needed emergency vet assistance. We are so happy to have found a place we trust so much!
Our 3 dogs came back happy and the staff is great! The facility looks well maintained. Good prices and they helped us out last minute! We will be returning for sure!
1000% recommend. Staff and owners are so caring and nice. Chase (my fur baby)has been there several times over the last 2 years, and he loves it.
We boarded our two saint bernards, one being 130lbs and one at 190lbs, and a 13 year old cat here for 4 nights over the thanksgiving holiday. We are new to the area and were hesitant to board at a new facility as my dog has a lot of medications having lupus and my other pup is very timid and takes things slow. I am now home with all my babies and I am so happy and relieved everything went well and the staff went above and beyond with hand feeding my timid boy when he was nervous and following his lead with reading his body language. My pup smells so nice and clean from his bath and I am thankful my babies were all taken care of. Thank you all so much!
Legacy is amazing and I would 100% recommend them to any obsessive pet parent. My dramatic and finicky pup loves staying there and the staff is so sweet, patient and loving to her during her stays. They offer tons of services to make your life easier and pets stay the best it can be. I’ve tried both overnight kennel stays and my dog loved both. Friendly and accommodating service coupled with upfront pricing have resulted in really delightful experiences at Legacy for my past two stays. Highly recommend.
My pup stayed here for 9 days and then I added 4 more days. She was well taken care of and was happy and go lucky when I picked her up. She had a bath while there and smells great! The price was very good and was even able to afford playtime and her bath. Definitely will bring her back here, if I take another vacation. 👍👍 …
Our pets, Lola (Rabbit) and Tyson (Birch Poo) stayed a few days. They were really friendly and attentive. They allow them to have free play, snacks etc. I guess you can actually say it is home away from home for them. We will definitely use them again.
I had previously put a lesser review due to issues with transparency about their dog evaluation costs. Tiffany is a manager and reached out personally to get a better insight on the issue. She made the situation right by refunding the charge of dog boarding, which was not what my dog was there for. She also stated the next steps she would take with her staff to make sure they are aware of evaluation procedures and communicating accurate information to guests moving forward. She seems like a wonder manager and I truly appreciate the courtesy call.
We've boarded and daycared here multiple times and have had such great experiences! All the employees are so helpful and nice, and are always so great when playing and training with Cooper! All the pictures attached are ones from the staff on his pawgress reports. He is always so happy and excited to visit, and I'm always at ease knowing he is safe and happy while being there!
Generally speaking, the facility is nice and the people I've interacted with are nice. But I have concerned with how they schedule feeding, both during day boarding and overnight stays. There have been at least two occasions where my dog has been picked up with food left over even when he has instructions on how often he eats on his account. (I portion and bag his food into individual meals as requested to make it easier) The most egregious was during day boarding and play I provided food and requested that he be fed mid day, to which it was confirmed that he would be (as he was going to be there from 8am until at least 5pm). Unfortunately, when I picked him up that evening, he had not been fed his food nor were there any notations on his account that he was fed anything at all while he was there. This is not only frustrating because he went all day without the opportunity to eat, but also because I purchased the upgraded day care boarding so he could be fed. When I asked what happened there wasn't an explanation that the associate could provide (not her fault) but she stated I would receive a call the following day regarding this issue which I did not receive. Update: Updated rating from 2 to 3. The GM (Tiffany) reached out regarding my above issue and we were able to talk through it. I was satisfied with the explanation provided and will give them another opportunity to watch over my furry family member.
My dog Link LOVES coming here! Everyone at the front desk is so welcoming and remembers his name every time we visit. I love that they have cameras in the play areas, gives me so much peace of mind to see my baby playing and smiling while I'm at work or out of town. They take excellent care of my dog and he always leaves with a huge smile on his face.
I took my dog to PetSuites Greensboro to have her groomed. I also opted for a play date. When I picked her up I went home and looked at her. I noticed a deep discoloration on her back. I immediately went back to PetSuites, which isn’t a short ride. When I got there and asked to speak with the groomer Jo and she wouldn’t come out and speak with me. She was sending messages thru the other personnel that worked there. I believe as a customer I should have had the opportunity to speak with someone who had hands on my animal. They said they didn’t know what the discoloration was. What ever it was it wasn’t there when I left her there earlier. This situation made be extremely anxious. I took my dog to the veterinarian the very next day to make sure this wasn’t something that could affect her health and to get an opinion of what this could be. It could have saved me a lot of time and gas $$$ if they would have been professional and told me what happened. The veterinarian looked at her very carefully and determined it wasn’t on her skin. They said it looked like something was spilled on her. I personally take issue with this situation and look at it as a warning because dogs can’t talk and tell you about their day. Also, PetSuites never admitted anything, or came to speak with me directly, which for me is a sign of unprofessionalism. I will not take my dog back to this establishment.
Pet Suites is an Pawesome 🐾 place to take your fur baby. I had an emergency hospital visit this past weekend, and even though I was a new client they were about to Accommodate my baby Zika. my original stay was going to be a full week but was able to get out sooner because the staff at this location was able to allow me to pick her up a lot sooner than intended. They allowed me a tour of the Facility which is very clean and well set up. the classic suites are more than ample for any size doggy and both their indoor and outdoor play yards are very nice and quite large. I normally board Zika at my local vet as she is well established there but they were fully booked at the time and I wanted her to be somewhere she could play with other dogs as well. The cost was reasonable at 60.00 for the basic suite and full-day playtime, plus meals and Potty breaks. When I came to pick her up Sunday night as they brought her out she was more interested in the lobby and sniffing around like she wanted to stay rather than seeing me ( lol ). Of course, I got the side eye and silent treatment most of the evening, which never happens when I pick her up at the vet, so I know she enjoyed her time. we will use this place again for boarding and or daycare when needed.
Had my two dogs there for 3 weeks during the virus pandemic. Not only did Lisa and her staff take excellent care of my dogs, they kept the lines of communication open via text, and phone calls. My dogs returned to me better behaved than ever. It’s seriously like they are new dogs! Lisa attributes their behavior improvements to the 2 hour daily play time with other dogs and very persistent leash training. I don’t live in the area but I wish Lisa and her team were closer by as I would use them every time I needed to travel. Great new facility, excellent staff that really cares about your dog/cat, and good vibes run through this place. I missed my dogs a lot over the three week period but they kept me posted on their activities with photos and daily updates! Really made me feel special and I am forever grateful for them. Stop searching, you found the right place, bring your dog here, you won’t regret it!
I came for a simple grooming, costed 65$ and they returned my dog wet, smelly, and shedding everywhere! When I told them I was not happy with the service they said there was nothing they could do for me claiming she was wet from a water bowl but her whole entire coat was wet and she smelled like a wet dog it feels like they didn’t blow dry her or made minimal effort. Never coming here again!
Our puppy comes home in her own piss and crazy every night. She’s supposed to be getting play time and let out to go pee, but we’re doubtful. By far the worst experience we’ve had.
I have to pet sit when my sister travels for her job. My morning schedule is very rigid in the mornings. Yesterday, 9/10/24, it took me about 20 minutes to check in. The check-in line was out the door. I made the manager aware of the issue and she assured me that it was going to be addressed and that she was going to personally be at the business in the morning (today) at 6:30 am. When I arrived at 6:34 today, there were two other customers waiting. The manager did not arrive until 6:50 am to open the building and it again impacted me being tardy for my job. This is totally unprofessional and not acceptable!
My girlfriend and I have boarded our dog here multiple times and they’ve always been great. But when we went to pick him up this time, I had an experience that left a sour taste in my mouth. When the lady came out with our dog she said very bluntly and quite rudely in my opinion , “you’re gonna have to put the harness on him he won’t sit still.” While I’m sure it can be quite stressful dealing with dogs all day. It came off quite rude and frankly, this is the job you signed up for and sometimes you’ll just have to deal with excited dogs. Maybe I’m overreacting, I just did not appreciate that interaction. I still appreciate them and I’m sure we will bring our dog back. I just wanted this information to be known.
We have boarded our pets here off and on for several years and I have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the pleasant staff. Last night they were even more a blessing! We recently got a new puppy, Waylon, and shortly before closing yesterday I found myself in a bind and needing care for him this very week. Now of course I knew it would depend on whether or not they were full or not but the staff member I spoke to seemed to understand my panic and helped me arrange his stay over the phone. My emergency worked itself out better through the night so he won't actually have to go but their willingness to help at the last minute helped in a stressful situation more than they likely know. Thank you so much and believe me Waylon will be in for a stay as will his sister Hollie who has been a client of the facility for years.
We love Carolina Pet Place! They take great care of our dog Izzy! Compare to others she attended, hands down the best! She really looks forward to her stay. The staff is always polite and knowledgeable about the care of the animals. "Feisty Izzy" is her nickname at Carolina Pet Place....perfect description of the personality. Highly recommend.
This is the best place to bring your dogs. They really doing an awesome job on bathing and grooming. And my dogs are always happy to go there!!
Thank you for making me feel comfortable about leaving my pets in your care, it really amazed me to see how neither one of my dog rejected walking away from me, they actually walked freely with the staff member, I was shocked 😲 thank you.😊 …
I am reviewing again because I keep trying to delete my old, negative review and it still keeps showing anyway. I have changed my mind completely about this place! Just to let people know, if you want them to put caps on your kitty’s claws, they will do that, but you need to call first and let them know, and the price is doubled. I was unaware of this until they replied to my other review. CPP trims my cat’s claws VERY quickly, and the price is quite affordable ($20). I would have given them 5 stars if their staff were a little friendlier (with the exception of one sweet young lady who always seems to be happy to see her customers) and if the guy at the counter had helped me with the door I was struggling a bit to open (I’m 7 months pregnant, with health problems, carrying a purse and water bottle in one hand and a 12-lb. cat in the other). The store was completely empty. 🤷♀️ But it’s really not a that big a deal. So that’s my opinion: - GREAT speed and value! - customer service could use some improvement I will continue to come here for all of my cat’s trimming needs, and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks, CPP!
These folks are great. They genuinely love taking care of dogs and you can tell that your pet looks forward to the next visit. The groomer is excellent also. Your kid/s will be well looked after.
Been over here several times with both of my dogs. They’ve raised their prices twice with no notification. They have drop off before 10am without making an appointment but 3 times they’ve turned me away in the morning because they’ve been too “busy”. For $45 dollars per dog for a normal bath, they don’t really take good enough care of their clients.. The guy working the front always seems to be in a bad mood and rude. I recommend finding another place where the staff will make you feel welcomed and appreciate your business.
First time boarding our dog . Wonderful experience. We will be back soon .
On 12/28/23, I had a very brief and disappointing phone conversation. Upon answering the phone, whomever I spoke to identified the place as "Carolina Pet Place." After saying, "hi", I proceeded to explain my situation: my plans for a dog sitter for next weekend (Jan 5th-7th) had fallen through, and I was now inquiring about boarding my two dogs. I specifically asked whether they were currently accepting new clients, as I had not boarded with them before and if they had any availability for the weekend. The response I received was delivered in a notably annoyed tone. The person stated, "I mean... you can be a client, but we can't board them on the weekend...we're full." In light of this curt response, I thanked them for the information, to which I received a brief and indifferent "Yep." before we both hung up. This experience left me disappointed, especially after researching various boarding options. The website for Carolina Pet Place had given the impression of a warm and friendly environment, which sharply contrasted with the demeanor of the person I spoke to. My inquiry was straightforward—I was simply seeking information about boarding my pets -- from a pet boarding facility. While I acknowledge that providing eight days' notice may be considered short, I am uncertain if the person I spoke to fully even grasped the specific days I was inquiring about. After I hung up, I suspected that they thought I was asking about this weekend since they never actually asked for dates. While this review doesn't reflect on how well Carolina Pet Place cares for animal, it does point out a problem with how they handle potential customers, especially for something as routine as boarding pets. Had the customer service been better, I would have potentially boarded my pets in the future at this facility, even if they were full the weekend I was inquiring about, but now I will not consider it and not recommend it to others.
